“Blueno! Another!” Kaku called from the other end of the bar. “Wait! W-wait, wait, wait! Two more!”

“I’m cutting you off soon,” their tender squinted but poured two more mugs of beer regardless. The glasses slid down the bar top, only sloshing when picked up by drunken receivers. 

Hattori pecked at the frothing head of the drink. “We don’t have work tomorrow!” The bird called. Blueno only rolled his eyes at the pointless act. 

“Y-you don’t have to keep—to keep doing that. Everyone’s l-left for the night, ’s just—it’s just us. Yes? Yes,” Kaku hazily nod to the man next to him at the bar. He grinned wide and took off his Galley-La baseball cap, attempting to place it atop his partner’s top hat.

Rob Lucci snorted into the foam of his glass. It sprayed like snow over his cheeks, into his beard, and onto his bird. He reached for a cocktail napkin, but the other man was faster on the draw. 

“L-look at this mess! What the hell did-did you do that for?” The blond laughed as he wiped the other man’s face down. From sharp brows, over dark curls, along the cut of his jaw, and down to the swirl of his beard. He retreated once the beer had been mostly mopped up, though he was not nearly brave enough to go for the drops that lingered on lips. 

“Thanks for the help, idiot,” the pigeon chirped again. 

“Stop it!” 

The shipwright fell forward, forehead to the sticky bartop, face buried in his bare arms. “No, fuck you,” Hattori seemed to answer on his behalf, though his coworker knew that was far from the truth. 

“Fuck me? No, fuck you!” Kaku shoved the body in encouragement to sit up again. 

Lucci turned his head to stare blearily out at his long-time fellow agent. They gazed at each other for a long moment of silence, sitting in something like drunken telepathy. "I like your stupid face. It’s so stupid,” he purred, his own voice from his own throat and his own lips. “It’s so… I like it. Can I touch it?”

His hand reached out, making Kaku back up on instinct. “Wh-what?” 

“Why does it look like that? It just…” Lucci mused and tapped the other man’s long nose. It wobbled back and forth like a door stop, making him burst into further laughter. 

“What the hell?! S-stop that!” Kaku reached to cover his nose with both hands. “My face isn’t stupid, your face is stupid, stupid! Who the hell grows a beard like that?” 

“I like my beard, what’s wrong with my beard?”

“It’s stupid!”

“Well, at least I can shave! You can’t do shit to fix that stupid nose!” He laughed at his partner. 

“Fuck you, I like my nose! I like it, alright? It’s-it’s…it’s my nose! It’s fine! I’m a fan of my stupid nose!”

“So you admit it’s stupid.” 

“No, fuck you!” Kaku laughed into another chug of his beer. 

“Fuck you!”

“No, really, fuck you!” 

Lucci grinned in dark victory, “well, then what the hell are we still doing here?”

You could request or offer a fic (or art!) that focuses on any of those!

I love developmental editing and going through and looing for plot or character things that could be fleshed out and improved on and tie things together better. I do love prose and language and bringing beauty to the written words, so it's fun looking at those technicalities. So I'd say with those, around 8! I am really hesitant with copyediting and proofreading...I am in an editing certificate program and learning those steps to improve etcetc, and I do NOT feel confident with it. 3. Maybe 3.5.

I love the idea of Elide returning to Perranth and taking over as she becomes a leader in her own right. And from that how Lorcan would always support her and do what he can to support her in those endeavors. I may be wrong on this, it's been a little bit since I've read the books: But I don't think Lorcan has the most experience in this arena. So together they learn and grow together to become better leaders. Oh, and they have a mini army of boys that adore their mother.

It's got darker themes and is a big canon divergent and mostly Feyre-centric kinda exploring a different side of her before she makes it to the night court after getting lost in the woods, accidently making faerie deals, etc etc...It would be a mix of an acotar retelling/divergence really. SEVERAL other acotar writers have workings of this one going, so I've got plenty of stories to fawn over and fill my measly imagination, thank goodness! >>Also, I love the idea of a Sword in the Stone Retelling--Rowaelin edition! We have different ways of interpreting characters and showing that on page, but sometimes when I see a characterization I don't agree with or that's just not my cup of tea, and I back out. OOOOOOO OKAY

So this isn't a main ship of mine, but I actually do really like it. Especially in the context of last nights episode. Although we don't see Tolkien in it- the whole context with the farms and exploring Stan and wealth has me thinking about them.

I understand that this may not be the popular interpretation of the pairing since Stan is down to earth, but i'm inclined to write/feel what I know soooooo let's go.

They could so work with the despondent wealthy youths spending money on fast cars just to feel something trope. I think Tolkien would handle it better, but take Stans dysfunctional upbringing/new found wealth/proximity to Tolkien. Do you know the song Super Rich Kids by Frank Ocean? Yeah.

Thinking about them as late teens/young adults exploring that strange distance where they relate to their peers, and are still down to earth, but also have many new privileges that wealth provides.

At some point they're going to enjoy it and let fucking LOOSE. Because maybe the stress at home is too much, and maybe their friends are being shitty, and it's really easy to blow off steam when you have a little extra cash. I like the idea of them getting lost in a wild youth, and maybe experiencing things together that feel disconnected from reality because they can AFFORD to disconnect from reality.

Of course in this- theres kindness and gentleness. These are good kids. So maybe it gets taxing, and although the sex and glamour of exploring new freedoms is fun, sometimes all they want is the simplicity of a trip to Starks Pond, or a night camping in the woods, sleeping in the bed of Randy's old farm truck. They can vent about expectations, and how much they want to live for themselves, not what their family expects. I see them really enjoying the outdoors, quality time over anything else, and a really stable romance.

Also MUSIC! They would 100% both be into making each other playlists of whatever they're feeling. I think they are both okay with words, but music translates better. They're in Tolkien's room with a vinyl on, just talking until 2am because they feel so comfortable with each other- and the silence with just a song in the background, and Tolkien playing with Stans hair is just as comfortable.

Well I’m not a big shipper naturally tbh, unless I see undeniable chemistry and/or suggestive scenes between characters, I’m probably just going to ship what was canon— that was until I fully entered tumblr and related fandom spaces. Now I see ships everywhere. Especially with Ao3.

Ao3 has made me ship soooo many ships, the OG being Superarrow/Kariver

More recently tho: Coldflash (my current OTP), Snowest, Hartmon, and I personally prefer them as platonic but I definitely support them as a ship— Barrisco

Also as much as I hate to admit it— I understand Eobarry and why people ship it (One sidedly it’s basically canon) but I still do not like it and definitely don’t ship it. (Ok but how tf could it ever be two sided guys— it’s also creepy af) nvm I’m not jumping into that rabbit hole today.

N “Name three things you wish you saw more or in your main fandom (or a fandom of choice)” : Hmm— does more fanfiction count?💀 Ok ok, three things let’s seeeee

1: More merchandise. I finally have a STAR labs sweatshirt and it is one of my most treasured possessions— but I wish there was more options, I wish we could get Ciscos vibe glasses or smth like that (I know we can on ebay and stuff, but it’d be nice if the CW or WB put in merch effort) Ah. The pain of smaller fandoms (and I say this in relation to my other big fandoms being Star Wars and the MCU)

2: Less discourse/hate. I’ve calibrated my space here on tumblr to be on the positive side of the fandom but I remember when I couldn’t look at comment sections without seeing at least 10 hate comments (from other fans may I add). Idk maybe it’s not as bad now. I also notice this was primarily around the topic of shipping; specifically around Westallen vs Snowbarry, I saw some pretty bad stuff on both sides. Personally I just believe in ship and let ship. If you don’t like a ship then that’s fine; but don’t attack the people who do. But like I said; maybe it’s not as bad now. (Sry that was a long one lol)

3: M o r e w h u m p— including taking place in later seasons; 9x4 has so much potential and I really want someone to take advantage of it (I say, knowing full well that I could write it— I can’t though; The Bad Ending is taking up all of my writing time/energy)

Now as a fanfiction writer, I have to have headcanons; it’s how I make the story and characters work while giving them extra depth. Naturally however; it’s not something I would usually think of outside of that. I have created the most fanfictions for this fandom by far (It was also the first media I ever wrote it for) so naturally I indeed have headcanons that will make their way into my fics.

Oliver trained Team Flash in hand to hand combat Now this one is less of a headcanon and more something I wish happened— cause where tf did they get their training from?? Maybe I’m missing/forgetting something and if so sry my bad— but this seems like something that absolutely could’ve happened. (I’m not counting superhero fight club as canon btw; as fun as it is)

Everyone goes to therapy

Gods this one is more wishful thinking than anything else— I’ll never forgive the CW for having Barry and Iris take couples therapy when what they both need is therapy therapy. The number of life threatening scenarios the entirety of Team Flash has gone through is more than enough to warrant therapy (and some form of PTSD but that’s a whole nother topic). The only possible exception I would make is Barry, because it would not surprise me at all if Joe had him go as a kid and the therapist didn’t believe him about the man in yellow just like everyone else; plenty of people have bad experiences with therapy that make them not want to go and that’s completely understandable.

Ooooooo allow me to summarize!

Basically there's this imp guy, Blitzø (the "o" is silent so I guess we all decided to write it as "ø") who runs a company that basically kills people (btw this is set in hell, like Hazbin Hotel and imps are one of the lowest on the social scale). To get to the surface to actually kill the people, they needed this fun spellbook-type thingy, which Stolas (a member of the Goetia family, royalty) had. So, because Stolas had liked Blitzø since he was a kid (sorta the reasoning? eh) they formed a sort of unofficial contract thingy; the book to get to the surface in exchange for... mature stuff.

So now Blitzø can get to the surface! Woo hoo! Chaos ensues, Stolas isn't happy in his marriage and finds himself actually falling for Blitzø (well, more than s3xually anyways) but Blitzø, who's got some good ol' self-esteem issues persisting of "how could a prince like you love an imp like me" stuff, so a few conversations and arguments and stuff later, Stolitz (ship name) is falling apart and they break the contract cause Stolas decided to let Blitzø make his own choices (see at the song Look My Way) and gave him a cool gem thingy that allows him to traverse freely from hell to wherever tf he wants on Earth (or other places in hell). Blitzø feels like, because of this, he's failed Stolas and needs to do better, so another argument ensues (Full Moon episode at the end) and Stolas ends up kicking Blitzø out.

Now, this episode- Apology Tour- started out with Blitzø coming back to where Stolas lives to attempt an apology (not really? My guess is he wanted to know what the fuck was going on and what he could do better, and despite him basically saying he could apologize to anyone but Stolas, he really only wanted to apologize to the bird dude. This was admitted later in the episode) and the apology failed, Blitzø gets kicked out again after emotional argument and the discovery of a party that's hosted every year dedicated to hating him (Blitzø).

One literal apology tour later, Blitzø makes his way to the party (since everyone there was an ex of his and those were the last on his list) only to not really apologize to many people there and instead tries to apologize to Stolas. Now, some stupid fuckhead had interrupted their chat, offering Stolas to dance- he accepted... unfortunately. One chat with another ex later, Blitzø catches sight of Stolas and that asshat who interrupted them dancing and then kissing- then back to dancing and Stolas (even tho he was drunk) actually looked happy.

Blitzø decided- eventually- to leave the party and the episode just ends with his head on the steering wheel just outside the party (poor sad boi... he needs hugs) and the van letting out a ridiculously long honk.

And that's about what we have for the Stolitz storyline in a nutshell. :D

hey no offence i like your takes and i like amber but you are kinda overanalyzing everything and you will be dissapointed in season 2. amber and mark do break up and get back together in the comics but for a very brief period of time as mark ends up cheating on her with eve (basically they make out in eve's home in africa - yeah the comic is a mess and eve is a white saviour for black people in africa). the comics are 144 issues and mark and amber break up officially about 6-7 issues after the markeve kiss and that is issue 35-ish. just saying...

No offense taken anon! I know for sure I'm an over-analyzer, but I just like coming up with theories and looking for things that typically go unnoticed and could potentially mean more. It's one of my favorite parts of being in fandom that I can accept canon and I can simultaneously indulge in playing sleuth every season. I could be wrong, I could be right, but that's just part of the fun! Idk it's a real dopamine rush for me, lol.

If Mark cheats on Amber in the series I hope she drops him so quick and never looks back tbh. She deserves better than that.

I've been in many fandoms and disappointment is a guaranteed thing. I'm not writing the story, so of course, there's gonna be things I'm disappointed with. I'll definitely complain here on my personal blog if something peeves me off, but I only really get upset with shoddy/confusing writing or when people discriminate against others.

If my ship doesn't end up together it's not the end of the world. I can still enjoy it long after the fact. I'm just super hyper fixated on Mark x Amber right now, thus the slew of content coming from me😂 (sorry if I'm annoying y'all😬😔)

I looked it up and it says that Eve is Mark's endgame and you know what, that's okay. I like Mark and Eve just fine, what I don't like is cheating. I've never liked the cheating trope, so if they break up Mark and Amber I hope they don't go that route. (They probably will tho)

Hi~ I love your Killua X Gon content, and I've been dropping in to check in on the amazing content creators for the ship~ If you have the time and are currently in the mood for it, can I ask your thoughts on Gon pining and being jealous (over Killua, ofc)? ooooooo gosh jealous Gon is one of my favorite things in the world, the only problem is that like.......Gon and Killua are always together and so obviously the most important person in the other’s life that there are rarely any chances to write it in a fic XDDD The only relationships I can see Gon getting a little jealous over in canon would be maybe Ikalgo and Killua’s friendship since I think Ikalgo kind of worships Killua in a similar sense to how Killua worships Gon, and I can also see Gon getting a little jealous over Alluka too because she is now the focus of Killua’s attention and Killua is leaving Gon to be with her. But I don’t think Gon would go so far as to do something about that jealousy either. 

And in terms of pining Gon.........I think Gon actually fell for Killua first all the way back in the Hunter Exam arc and has been lowkey pining for Killua throughout the entire length of the series but he just doesn’t realize what those feelings are? I think he would only connect the dots after he and Killua separated and then I think his pining would turn into full blown crushing and yearning and longing~~~~

NAUTICA. Brainstorm isn’t unaffectionate, though he has trouble actually engaging instead of doing ridiculous bouncy mating displays. But Nautica will Do An Emotion and dgaf. She cares a lot and she’s open and demonstrative. And Nightbeat even mentions that she’s tactile. Nautica wins the affection race.

Thwarted by kibble yet again. This is a difficult franchise for this question XD If we go ahead and play things by the straightforward anatomy, Brainstorm needs to sleep on his back and Nautica needs to sleep on her side. So just imagine how cute it would be with her sleeping up against Brainstorm.

Extra difficult D: I won’t lie, when I write them, the biggest conflict they have is that Nautica is like ‘we should try to land perceptor for a threesome’ and Brainstorm is like ‘okay so on the one hand yes but also noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo’.

Engineer things? :P Cheating answer, but engineering innovation is Brainstorm’s favorite hobby, and Nautica loves to learn and is a quantum engineer herself. So even in terms of just day-to-day work, they have a lot of ground to connect on there. Other option: Nautica drinking Brainstorm under the table, hahaha

Okay, I have real trouble visualizing Brainstorm carrying a person. And I have real trouble visualizing Nautica being carried, short of like. Having her leg sploded. If this is voluntary, not-fleeing-for-their-lives carrying, she’d totally be the one to sweep him off his feet.

Who worries the most?

BRAINSTORM. It’s an awkward definition of worry, but okay. So his mating dances for Perceptor. Like that, except bouncing around a problem, poking it from different angles, not able to leave it alone until it’s fixed. Even if sometimes poking at the problem is more like poking at a bruise. But he can’t let it be. It’s a quiet, secret flavor of worrying, but he beats Nautica for sure.

Who tops doms?

NAUTICA, 100% Nautica. Brainstorm wants attention and approval and attention, and Nautica enjoys giving it to him. Plus she’d have so much fun with a sweet domming style, where she plays pretty gentle (maybe intense, but still gentle) and sees what interesting reactions she can tease out of him. They enjoy more vanilla encounters just fine too, but if anyone is telling anyone else what to do, it’s her telling him.

Who initiates kisses?

Also Nautica :P Brainstorm does not have a good grasp of when to stop bouncy dancing and close in. Plus she’s just more open with her affection in general.

They both sleep in late? :V I can see either of them getting up early if they have things they need to do. But if they have the option, they both seem like they’d enjoy sleeping in.

Hahaha, Nautica continues to win all the affection display races! I have all sorts of headcanons about how the war and risk of death really amped up the speed at which Cybertronian relationships progress (my favorite thing to consider: cyclonus’s reaction to the getaway thing when he’s like whatever fine okay they’ve known each other for like a year there’s still time for tailgate to figure this out whAT DO YOU MEAN GETAWAY IS PROPOSING). But on the other hand, getting open with your romantic feelings is also opening yourself to getting hurt when your partner dies tragically in this massive war with unspeakable fatality rates. So I think Nautica would be very much fine with saying the words, but Brainstorm would be leery, just because of the different histories they have with people they care about sticking around versus dying horribly.

Hi, just wondering what your thoughts are on Home Farm, the whites should go, no one likes them and they just don't know what to do with them anymore. Haha, I’m guessing you haven’t seen my many posts on The Whites ;) Yeah, I’m not a fan. I like Chrissie. I quite enjoy her a lot of the time but even then, she can drive me mad (when she screeches I wince). I barely understand their motivations, relationships or anything they think or feel. The writing is so inconsistent for them that I don’t find them entertaining, only annoying. I enjoyed Chrissie back in the day and ALSO as super bitch schemer, she was thrilling! I also loved Chrissie and Rebecca’s desk scene because it set up so much promise for a dynamic sisterly relationship. This was off the back of the hideously confusing Lachlan storyline where Rebecca’s intentions were about as clear as mud and Chrissie was just as hard to understand. I mean, NY was a prime example. They were trying to destroy each other and were quite cruel and then the next day they’re joking over breakfast and being cutesy. It’s not entertaining that way, for me, anyway. If they’re trying to do the whole Andy/Rob thing then they’re failing. I can rant on forever about how the characters have been wasted but I can’t actually be bothered to chat much about them. Lawrence drives me potty though, I can’t cope with him. He’s the biggest petulant child going. I appreciate his past and it’s harrowing but they seem to have really scaled back on exploring that which was the only interesting thing about him! Dog is a fave though ;) #freedog

Ooooooo I love these questions! I’ll answer 3 first because my all time faves are The Kings and Declan Macey with an appreciation of the Tates. I remember The Tates from when I was small and so my knowledge is limited but I was terrified of them because they were all so rotten but so compelling. Especially Chris! Let’s hope Noah doesn’t take after him ;) Hilariously, The Whites appear to be the only HF family that Charity hasn’t been involved with, maybe the Wyldes too? I forget!

I digress. The Kings were amazing. I loved them ALL. I’d have them all back in a heartbeat. I loved the brothers and how different they were, especially Carl and the stark difference between him and Jimmy. I LOVED Carl King so much. He was a NIGHTMARE but he was so entertaining and wicked and charming and brilliant. He was a definite “love to hate” character so I miss him. Plus, Who Killed Tom King was awesome even if it was a soap staple. They brought in Sadie and Scarlett and the side story with Edna (I miss Jimmy and Edna!) and Carl’s entire nightmare history with women and Chas and then Jimmy falling in love with Nicola - they were woven into the village in such a wonderful way and caused havoc.I’d also have Declan back because his HF stint was quite unique. They didn’t ship in a whole family, it was pretty much just him and Megan and he was the cantankerous melancholy man on the hill. He was a great character and I LOVED his gradual break down and the fire …. hahaha. I get great pleasure watching the “HF DISASTER” episodes ;) dying for the inevitable one with the Whites haha.

I think I liked Declan because he was a bit different. He was still rich but he was different enough that he was interesting despite it! I quite like a moody, damaged soul as you want to get to their core to find out why and if there’s a heart there… I just loved him! At the time I don’t think I realised how much but looking back I miss him. I think I just hated that the had to include Katie because I NEVER EVER liked Katie. The double crossing and general Charity of it all was also wicked fun! Megan was relevant and fun then - now she’s a little underused.

The fact that they managed to still make the HF “rich entitled” lot interesting was great and it shows it can be done! The Whites had great potential and were good for a while. I loved the early stuff and found it refreshing but I agree, they haven’t a clue what to do with any of them now and it’s a little infuriating because the characters, to me, aren’t loveable enough to overlook a bit of confusion and nonsensical plot.I think that the show has changed so much since the early days when it was MUCH more about farming and the real authenticity of it which contrasted so starkly to the HF residents. The villagers (especially the Dingles) still provide the general contrast because they haven’t got a penny, they scrimp and save ETC and most of the village is quite ordinary but there isn’t as much of a contrast as there used to be so that’s why the HF lot need to be something different. I think they need to keep them rich and well to do because it’s an estate and the residents own half the village so there’s no way around that. That said, I’d like something original. This can be achieved through CHARACTERS and I’m sorry but I’ve seen many a Lawrence in that house and many a Chrissie and Rebecca. Rebecca is like a Maisie Wylde and Chrissie has a mixture of Megan, Kim Tate and Sadie King. I think Chrissie could be excellent as a character but I wish they’d work out what to do with her. I miss Nicola up at HF too. She always added some fun and snark.

So yes, after that mahoosive ramble, I hope I answered your question. I’m awaiting my HF disaster implosion storyline and I’ll enjoy the hell out of it :)
