Anyone still hoping to do a writing challenge for November? I've seen some talk of there being a good discord of people who have left NaNoWriMo after the... well. The Nonsense Brigade of the past couple years.

I'm also interested in what word tracker apps people are using.

I'm not sure if I'm going to keep the werewolf story up, by the way. I may be taking down the early chapters and trying to turn it into something I could potentially publish. That's a MAYBE, and I may do that with the siren story instead. Not sure yet.

I keep feeling like there is a seed of a story with the werewolf AND siren stories that would work well as a traditionally published novel.

Or hell, maybe I'll dust the Demon Cult story off again and go back to that...

O . 3 — if you suspect problematic people are in the server let a mod or the owner know in dms and we will look into it .

O . 4 — nsfw jokes outside of nsfw are not permitted outside of the nsfw channel . Slightly suggestives are fine but if it starts to get borderline nsfw take it to the channel it’s meant for.

Do you have a discord server where people can share and discuss writing?

Funny you ask! I was setting something like that up a while ago (like last year) but I wasn't sure if there would be interest or even really how to manage it. I'm not an expert when it comes to discord so I was a bit overwhelmed by how complicated it was, but if people are interested I'll definitely return to the idea!
