Hey Lang and Os? It kinda occurred to me since listening to OSP’s detailed diatribe on Batman on YouTube, but out of curiosity, how would Kei take to Terry? Batman Beyond, I mean?

She's only interacted with him briefly, but her approach with most Bat-adjacent people in the therapy timeline (i.e., Sorayama happened and Kei now has a therapist) of Exorcising (and Exercising) Demons is thus:

"I appear to have (somehow) ended up with a bonus punk-ass little brother. This has to be penance for something." (Assuming that Kei meets him in a context where they don't immediately wallop each other for something.)

Whereas the OLDER Kei from Once and Future Thing is uh...more like that wacky drop-in relative whose main rapport with anyone else is in driving Bruce to the limits of his old man patience. She's like if Kei deleted 90% of her personal filter and replaced a lot of her awkwardness with Murder.

I forgot to post these for so long huhuhuhuu 😭 just some other faces of your girl from when I first started this piece, and a bit near the end before the final edits. They were so fun to experiment with, and they came out so cute~! It’d be a shame to hide them away forever. Can’t believe I haven’t posted them until now agh 🤦🏻‍♀️

Tbh, I really liked the light blue background I started with (it’s the “Hoshino Tomoko” color in my head nowadays lol), and I wish I kept it somehow. The sunny background with clear blue skies really fits our sunshine girl. It wasn’t working with the texture I was trying for, but in its own way, I think the plain blue was really nice. This starry version I finished with was also really cool- really emulated that “Hoshino” glow ehe~ for the finale I added some glow lighter purple in the middle, was kinda going for galaxy-vibes, I guess? I had issues with the coloring of the letters tbh; once I added the lighter purple, I couldn’t keep the yellow lettering. I tried all sorts of colors, but the most visible was this orange brown, so I stuck with it as a callback to Obito 🥽👍🏼

Cuteness is justice!! The way Mastersona Vy talks with the Nobu is absolutely adorable, I wanna tackle hug them they’re so cute!!

Gudaguda remains my favorite event for a reason, and I really feel like the vibe has been captured here! This is a nice and fun chapter, and it really does make me giggle~ love the dialogue from everyone, and of course Chacha is prepared hahaha!

Or, when trying to return to some emotional balance, the author tries to fit in as many GudaGuda Servants as possible in one shorter-than-usual chapter with the advent of the GudaGuda 5 rerun and the newly release GudaGuda 6 events in FGO NA as of last November.

Took some rewatching of the 2003 Teen Titans too, just to make it happen. WITH some small Pokemon speak shoved in for the mini-Nobu.

Just in time for the story's 3 year AO3 anniversary too... (Nov. 28, 2023)

The episode rewatched the most for this chapter was the aptly named "Employee of the Month", which had this kinda prologue.

It’s super late, I tried to finish this before your birthday, but my perfectionism hit me too hard 😭🙏 Ended up finishing it over thanksgiving weekend, and I’m glad to finally be able to give it to you! Context: I’m going to the Huntsville area this weekend with @mer0vech, @pyatsfortress, and @rabbitcatalyst. This song has been stuck in my head for the last week— it sounds like a Canadian take on a 60s beach anthem.

As someone who lives in another Canadian summer hotspot, I deeply relate to it:

Listening to Kevin Hearn and Thinbuckle live on a cruise ship with my partner is a core memory, although the song I associate with that is more surreal Map of the Human Genome.
