When you smell on Armontentia and think of Imelda, what do you smell? :)
"oh, uh... Smoky hazel wood mostly, with a tinge of Linnaea borealis' distinctive, almost anise-like fragrance, uh..." She trails off and begins picking at the threads on her gloves, not even bothered maintaining eye contact. Her entire focus seemingly scatters with that description alone.
"lingering warm petrichor... Or dampened moss of the forest floor... Elderflowers..."
A long hush settles over as she trails off, it takes a moment for her eyes to find you again.
"what was the question?"

OHC Day Seventeen: Being is Believing
Does a Spaceship have a Klabautermann?
I say yes! Simply because it's cool. So, I'm going to give you some rambles on what I think the Klabautermänner of various spaceships are like, through the eyes of my OCs I have put on those ships - since my spacefaring OCs are almost all telepaths and thus would be able to percieve the Klabautermänner.
These blurbs do get a bit angsty at times...
Featuring:
The Enterprise (NX-01) from Star Trek: Enterprise + my OC Ezori
The Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) from Star Trek: The Next Generation + my OC K'Rala
The Voyager (NCC-74656) from Star Trek: Voyager + my OC Wren
The Orville (ECV-197) from The Orville and The Orville: New Horizons (aka honorary Star Trek; Star Trek: Orville, if you will) + my OC Raevyn

Enterprise, NX-01
"You're back early," Malcolm commented, looking at his watch and then at Trip. "Didn't you say something about a broken power conduit that would take you hours to fix?"
Malcolm and Ezori were sitting together in her quarters, where he was trying his best to learn sign language from her. They had made a habit of this a while ago. Ezori would learn signs from the intercom Hoshi and Trip had built for her and would then pass them on to Malcolm once she was sure with them. Trip would join them sometimes, but he preferred just letting Ezori into his mind over having to concentrate to learn sign - no matter how much other people tried to convince him that it was a good idea.
"Turns out it wasn't too bad," Trip shrugged. He settled down among the many pillows and blankets next to his friends. "Must've had a Klabautermann to help me."
Whereas Malcolm chuckled lightly, Ezori just tilted her head at him, a confused expression on her face.
"It's an old Earth superstition," Malcolm explained, "that—"
"It's not a superstition, it's true!" Trip protested. "A Klabautermann – traditionally – is a seafaring spirit that helps worthy sailors out on the seas. Some say it's a water spirit born from the ocean, others say it's an incarnation of the ship itself taht manifests when it's really loved and cared for. And, y'know, with space travel, people have been wonderin' if a spaceship can have a Klabautermann too. The Enterprise is a great ship, so I say she can."
Malcolm scoffed. "Either way, we'll never be able to see it, even if it were real, since humans can't see spirits," he concluded.
Ezori pressed her lips together and puffed her cheeks out a little, a clear tell that she was thinking.
Would I be able to see it? she finally asked.
Trip and Malcolm looked at each other with furrowed brows. Clearly, they had never thought about it this way before. Of course they hadn't, they hadn't talked to a lot of non-human people before going on this mission.
"Well, your eyes work the same as our eyes, don't they?" Malcolm asked slowly. "So, I guess not?"
"And you're blind!" Trip gasped, turning into soft laughter as he talked. "So, no, I don't think so. – Was that a trick question?"
With a frustrated little growl, Ezori reiterated: 'See' as in 'the way I make sure I don't walk into walls'. I don't know how to say that. Hot. Cold. Vibrations. Thoughts. Sound.
"Ah," both of her friends hummed, retreating into stumped silence.
"I guess maybe," Trip finally said. "I mean, what even are spirits? Are they thoughts? Are they on some kind of wavelength that we just can't perceive but you can?"
"Could T'Pol see them?" Malcolm wondered. "She's also a telepath isn't she, just not quite as... active of one."
Trip shrugged. "I guess if you see a ghost, you'll tell me, alright?"

Enterprise, NCC-1701-D
A lot of things had changed since that day on Vagra II. Everyone missed Tasha, it was true. It had hit K'Rala the hardest, losing they girlfriend to something they deemed as humiliating, a cruel display of power with no regard for life. But since then, they had bloomed in a way that Tasha would admire.
Encouraged by Tasha's last goodbye, K'Rala had started coming out of their Vulcan shell, allowing themselves to let loose little by little. It had started with changes to their posture, flashes of smiles and little jokes, as they started taking on the best (and sometimes worst) traits of the people around them. They really were getting more comfortable, experimenting with not only their social skills but also their appearance, cutting their hair and stopping to straighten it into those logical, geometric-looking shape, bleaching it white and letting it be its natural, wavy self.
There was one thing that worried Geordi though. Whenever K'Rala was working down in engineering, in any stressful situation, they would start talking to themselves, or to some other person that wasn't there. It was always on topic, as if there were a ghostly coworker beside them, an extra set of hands to make the necessary corrections fast enough, to carry out more tasks and save time. Sometimes, they even seemed to be talking to the ship herself, which... Well, it wasn't unusual. A lot of people did, little comments, pleas to hold on or not to fail them. But with K'Rala, it was different. Full-blown conversations, as if the ship were actually responding.
It made Geordi wonder if they could possibly be seeing a Klabautermann.

Wren lay in sickbay, staring up at the ceiling as they faded in and out of consciousness. Damned be their biology, incredibly resilient systems that were as hard to invade as they were to heal... But its one weakness had always been the mind.
Since there was no way to treat them, they had been confined to sickbay until further notice, and banned from shapeshifting. Lying around in their true form made them feel vulnerable in a way they truly despised. On top of that, having a tail truly didn't make lying on your back any more comfortable.
But the worst part of it all was that Wren thought they were starting to hallucinate. They had told the Doctor so, of course, but there was nothing to be done about it. Every now and again, a phantom would ghost through their field of view, a mirage of their heat-based vision, vaguely humanoid and child-like, wearing a tattered hood and a belt of tools.
Maybe they'd have to tell Tuvok about it soon. Maybe he would be able to knock that error out of their mind.

Orville, ECV-197
Raevyn wasn't an engineer. She knew nothing about machines and electronics except how to use and power them. But she came from a telepathically gifted culture and she knew better than to disrespect something with a name.
Gordon had told her once that what she was describing was, in human terms, a Klabautermann. A spirit that inhabited ships, in their understanding of folklore. But the Tehiko believed and knew that there was a spirit like that in every machine with a name. Ships were the most prominent example, of course, but they also named their weapons and their earpieces, as was only worthy of things so dear to them.
Of course, Raevyn could never actually admit that she was seeing a Klabautermann, that there was a ghostly little girl roaming the halls, wearing a headpiece like the Orville's rings. It would get her confined to sickbay for some kind of mental illness. But whenever she saw that spirit sitting on the handrail down in Engineering, watch John and the others work with childlike wonder, she couldn't help but smile. And when the ship had been boarded, when everything had seemed so dire, she knew this loyal spirit would see to it that the crew made it out alive.

Wren Kelly + Sirius Black // Things Like Love - a Marauders AU
Sirius winced at her words and couldn’t help but ask her, “Were you really pining over me for months?”
“Longer, probably. You knew I was,” Wren laughed quietly. “Everyone knew I was. Even Peter knew I was, so if you really had no idea then you were either blind or stupid,” she paused. “Or both.”
“If it means anything,” Sirius began. “I do think I had feelings for you, too,” he admitted softly, watching as the smile slipped from Wren’s lips as she quickly turned to face him. “I probably shouldn’t be telling you this now – James would kill me if he heard me – but I was terrified of what those feelings might mean.”
Sirius turned away from her, looking out over the lake and running a hand through his hair. He could feel her eyes burning holes in the side of his head, but he wasn’t going to continue unless she spoke – she had a boyfriend now, after all, and Sirius didn’t want to make either of them uncomfortable.
“…Why?” Wren asked once she realised he wasn’t going to voluntarily divulge that information. Her voice had cracked slightly on the word, Sirius had noticed, almost as if she were afraid of his answer.
“Because we’re friends, Bird,” he answered with a sigh. “All of us. I didn’t want to do anything that could mess that up, you know? Throw off the group dynamic.”
“Never stopped James when he was chasing after Lily, did it?” Wren scoffed, and Sirius sent her a grin.
“Is that jealousy I detect, Miss. Kelly?” he teased.
Wren rolled her eyes. “As if.”
“Suppose you have no reason to be jealous if you’re the one who finally nabbed him.”
“You say that like he ever had a chance with Lily in the first place,” she smirked, and Sirius let out a quiet laugh. Wren eyed him curiously. “I don’t buy that bullshit answer, by the way. About not wanting to mess up the group dynamic. If that was really the case, you never would have kissed me or taken me to that bedroom. So what’s the real reason?” she leaned forwards in her seat. Sirius huffed out another sigh and ran his hands through his hair again. “…Is this about your parents?”
“What exactly do you know about my parents?” he asked carefully.
“Not a lot,” Wren shrugged her shoulders. “Just that you don’t really get along with them and that’s why you’re always round at James’ place. I know that you don’t really get along with your mother-”
“She’s the devil,” Sirius interrupted with a growl. “She’s a horrible woman, Wren. She’s just an all-round terrible person. Loving her ruined my dad. My entire life, I’ve watched him lose himself bit by bit. He was my best friend growing up, you know? He used to take me and my brother out every Saturday - football, golfing, swimming, he’d take us to the zoo, the cinema - nothing too fancy, just wherever we wanted to go. He was a completely different person when we were out of that house and away from her. Now he barely speaks to me, just about glances up when I go home to see Reg or grab some things to take back to James’. I… I didn’t want that to happen with us.”
Wren had kept quiet the entire time Sirius had been speaking and he had been careful not to look at her. Now, he risked a glance at her, and he almost immediately wished he hadn’t. She was staring at him in bewilderment and she blinked at him before she opened her mouth to speak.
“You… thought… I’d ruin you?” she asked him slowly.
Sirius’ eyes widened. “God, no! No, Bird, I thought I would ruin you.”
“So you didn’t tell me you maybe had feelings for me because you were scared you’d, what? End up hurting me?”
“I suppose so, yeah.”
“But you hurt me anyway.”
Sirius looked down. “I know I did, but I never meant to, Wren. I promise you that. I even- I mean, after Peter’s party, I thought about telling you. I even spoke to Remus about it, because he knows you better than anyone and I realised how much I’d fucked up. I was going to tell you everything, but you were ignoring me every attempt I made to contact you and he told me to give you space. I had to stop myself from blurting it out when I saw you in the pub after Christmas, but I didn’t think you’d appreciate that and I noticed James was quite touchy with you so I left it. And then you weren’t ignoring me anymore,” he told her quietly, finally looking up at her. “But you were already with James. And he’s my best mate, y’know? So I couldn’t say anything then.”
“...And he didn’t know about this? You didn’t tell him?”
“James?” Sirius asked in confusion. “Of course I didn’t, I thought he might go blabbing to Evans - or worse, Marlene! The only person I told was Remus.”
“Okay.”
“Why?”
“Just thought it would have been pretty shitty of him to make me his girlfriend if he knew how you felt, right?” Wren frowned, and Sirius shook his head as he turned to face her.
“Would it have made a difference?” he whispered, and she shot him a confused look. “If I’d have told you first. Would it have made a difference?”
“Probably,” Wren murmured. “I really liked you, Sirius. If you’d have told me after Peter’s party I probably would have jumped you. Finally, Sirius Black realises I’m the perfect girl for him, y’know?” she sent him a teasing smile, nudging him with her elbow. “Shame Potter beat you to it.”
“Is it?” Sirius asked quickly, screwing his eyes shut for a second when he realised he had spoken without engaging his brain.
“What?”
“Is it a shame James got there first before I told you how I felt?” he questioned. “Do you wish I would have told you, Wren? Do you wish we could have had a chance?” he watched as Wren’s eyes went wide and her mouth opened and closed with no words coming out, and he instantly regretted asking her. He would rather never know the answer than have her just reject him outright.
“Sirius-”
“Nevermind,” he interrupted quickly. “It doesn’t matter anyway, does it? It’s obvious to me how you and James feel about each other now, can’t believe I never picked up on it before, really. You’re perfect for one another. I suppose I’m just a bit jealous, in a way. Not- not because- I’m- I don’t mean- I’m not jealous of James or anything!” Sirius stuttered out before he paused and took a deep breath. “God, this is all coming out wrong. I just meant that, I see you guys together and you’re both so happy and comfortable with each other. He can hold your hand whenever he wants to, and the way you lean into him when he’s got arm around you, or the way he whispers stuff to you and you roll your eyes but you’re still smiling at him… I would love to have that someday,” he asked, looking towards her and seeing the pink tinge to her cheeks. His eyes widened slightly in panic as he realised how his little confession probably sounded. “With someone, you know? Someone else. I would like to have that relationship with another girl.”
Wren watched him for a moment, seeing the way his face had flushed as he spoke and the way his fingers twitched as he fiddled with the ends of the sleeves of his jacket - a sure sign he was nervous. Reaching out, she placed a hand over his and ignored the way he jumped at her touch.
“You know, Sirius, if you stop running away from every girl who is capable of loving you, then you could have that someday,” she told him with a smirk and a raised eyebrow. “We just need to sort out your obvious commitment issues first.”
Sirius snorted. “Cheers, Bird.”
“Anytime, Black!” she grinned, patting his hand. “Anytime.”

Live Wire --The Dirt--11
Summary:  Wren Ledden, Tommy’s best friend from high school, has had a rough life, and she intends to keep the nitty gritty details of her suffrage to herself until the day she dies. Only Tommy has gotten her to open up about a small portion of her troubles, and it’s only Tommy who she trusts with her life. That is until her life gets turned around sneaking into a concert one night…the same night Motley Crue is born.
A/N: back with some more!!! Sorry it’s taken so long. I’ve gone from working, to getting furloughed and prepping for potential interviews to getting laid off and applying for everything I can think of in my field, but I needed a break from all that, so we have some more Motley. Another part will be coming soon (less than 2 weeks). Please leave me some feedback or reblog! I live for that shit. Also, Motley requests are open. I also have MGK and Chris Evans stuff in the works as well.

Watching her friends struggle to come down from the high of their first show should have been an indication for countless events that would shape Wren’s future, but being young blinded her from those potential dangers. Instead, she focused solely on helping her friends through the band’s first three performances at the Whisky. She began with an attempted apology to Tommy, which he refused to let her finish before immediately forgiving her for almost missing the show; he’d known Wren long enough to truly know her and her heart. If she was going to miss the show, it was more than likely due to something important, and besides that, he owed her an apology.
Tommy and Wren were family long before she moved in with him and his family, and long before the Crüe became a family of their own. For about half of her life, Wren had Tommy, and somewhere around their first major heart-to-heart, the pair made a promise that Tommy ended up breaking that night. He knew the emotional manipulation Wren’s parents put her through—the constant shaming her for her passions and bringing about an immense amount of guilt in order for her to abide by their wishes—just as much as she knew how silence to Tommy was a punishment. As young teenagers, the pair promised to never, deliberately make the other feel weak and unempowered in the way their parents had—whether it be intentional, like Wren’s, or unintentional, like Tommy’s.
The next three days and nights went without mention of the incident that happened when Lovey was over the night before their debut, and it went without saying that she wouldn’t be allowed back in the apartment if she couldn’t keep her trap shut, however Nikki still felt the need to make that clear with Vince. The day of their final performance at the Whisky, Tommy, Wren, and Nikki had woken up earlier than usual. At eight in the morning, Wren sat outside the front door, sipping coffee from a mug Tommy had gotten her for her birthday the previous year, and reading aimlessly through the paper. She didn’t expect to see any of her roommates until around noon or even later considering how frequently the boys slept in, however she was surprised to hear a grumbling Nikki speaking on the phone in a frustrated and exasperated tone.
In an attempt to mind her own business, Wren adjusted her position in the folding lawn chair she sat in outside their apartment, rested the paper against her now bent legs, and drank from her mug. Her eyes skimmed an article about yet another celebrity who has passed away that year and Wren could hear the huff and puff of a tired and grumpy Nikki Sixx as he stepped onto, what she referred to as a patio for lack of a better word, and dropped himself into the folding chair beside Wren.
“I take it you’re in a bad mood because you woke up too early,” she commented without pulling her eyes away from the paper.
“That was Vince on the phone,” Nikki dully stated as he lit a cigarette in frustration. “He wants to practice some specific voice stuff with us before the show tonight.”
“Okay, what’s the problem then, pissy pants?” Wren continued to skim the article with little interest in the world around her other than the coffee she continually and leisurely sipped on. Nikki pulled the cigarette from between his lips and let out a steady stream of smoke. His eyes had slowly drifted from the jagged horizon of rooftops to the soft, brown waves of Wren’s hair as it fell gently around her face. He watched as her bottom lip curled beneath her top teeth as she read couldn’t help the urge he had to smile at her. She looked peaceful sitting there in what he assumed used to be one of Tommy’s old t-shirts, her usually pale skin glowing in the golden rays of the sun, and her light eyes dancing across the pages of the paper with an intense focus that required her to chew on her lip. Nikki hated himself for wanting to reach across the empty space between them and snake his fingers between hers. It seemed stupid, cheesy, and cliché, and he hated all of those things. He’d never known love, so love didn’t exist; it was a fabrication concocted in movies to force everyday people into believing that some sort of superior feeling can exist within you, so he rejected the desire to take Wren’s hand in his and dismissed it as him falling victim to Hollywood’s attempt to play god.
“The problem is that he wants to bring that bitch over again.” Nikki noticed the soft curve of Wren’s jaw harden and the curious gaze with which she read the paper fade and be replaced with a cold, calculated grimace.
“If she’s—” Wren’s threat was quickly cut short by a reassuringly curt Nikki.
“She’s not.” Those two words coming from his mouth was enough to cause her posture to relax and her eyes to soften. Wren hadn’t even realized how tense she’d been at the mention of Vince’s girlfriend until Nikki put her mind at ease. “I told him that after last time she’s not welcome here, and if she treats you like shit at a show, Tommy and I aren’t going to step in to hold you back.” Unsure of what to say, Wren allowed her lips to curl into a small smile of gratitude before she shifted her attention back to the paper. She was thankful she had it with her; it gave her something to look at other than those damned eyes of his. Wren tried not to let her mind retreat back the night she pummeled Lovey, but she was young and weak. She could still remember how Nikki held her, how safe she felt with him, and the thought that ran through her mind when wrapped in his arms.
“Why do you do this?” The words fell from her mouth without caution and her eyes flashed up at the man beside her.
“Excuse me?” Nikki cocked an eyebrow at Wren and offered a small, forced chuckle in her direction. He knew damned well that she could see through him, yet he was still stupid enough to try and change the conversation’s course.
“Why do you do this?” she repeated, this time assuring her eyes never left Nikki’s.
“Are you mad right now?” he asked after looking over his shoulder back toward the apartment’s window to see if Tommy was awake or approaching. Both Wren and Nikki had tempers and the tendency to quickly lash out at those around them as a result of their tempers. After an incident involving a misplaced remote and Nikki and Wren yelling at one another for an hour before either of them realized they were saying the same thing, the pair decided it would be best to flat out ask one another if they were angry rather than try and gauge the other’s temper. Wren smiled to herself when Nikki asked her this, mostly because they were each a bit drunk when they devised that plan and she knew that, normally, Nikki never remembered anything that happens when he’s drunk.
“No, I’m just curious,” Wren sighed before she continued. “Why do you always defend me?”
“Tommy defends you,” he retorted.
“Tommy knows me and has known me for a very long time. He knows my birthday, my favorite food, favorite songs, he knows what I’m allergic to, knows the bullshit I’ve gone through…my regrets, fears, weaknesses. You don’t know me that way, at least not enough to constantly be jumping to my defense.”
“Just because I don’t know you like Tommy does doesn’t mean I don’t know you at all,” Nikki scoffed, “and it doesn’t mean I don’t want to know you.” Upon noticing the quick furrow of Wren’s eyebrows, Nikki inhaled sharply on his cigarette and spoke again to clear up her confusion. “I know you hate cigarette smoke, that’s why I’m sitting down wind from you. I know you can’t stand it when Tommy makes coffee, which is why you always get up earlier than us. I know you eat chocolate and peanut butter in the living room after Tommy and I go to bed, or when you wake up in the middle of the night from nightmares—yeah, I know about those too. I know you discredit yourself way too much, but for the life of me, I don’t know why, because you’re probably the smartest and most talented person I’ve ever met. So maybe I don’t know you like Tommy does, but I know you enough to know what makes you mad and what upsets you, and if I can do something to keep that from happening, then I will.” As the words fell from Nikki’s mouth, Wren was as still as the morning air around them as the golden rays of the sun slowly disappeared and daylight took over the world.
“Nikki, do you how hard it is to trust another person so completely?” The man beside her shook his head and his dark hair flicked slightly against his neck. “Neither do I. Tommy’s my best friend, but he’s also more than that; he’s my family. I don’t just say that shit because that’s how it’s like between us; I say it because I’ve never felt a familial bond with any human being—one so complete and unconditional that you know, through anything and everything, they will be there—other than Tommy. We’re family in the sense that we have to love each other no matter what; that’s what and who Tommy is to me.” Silence fell over the pair as Wren lifted her coffee mug to her lips and leisurely sipped from it as she thought of her next words. Nikki’s eyes fell from where he had held his gaze on her to the ground. Did she trust Nikki in one sense or another? Yes. Did she feel safe around him? Yes. Did those feelings of trust and safety terrify her to wits end? Hell yes! Wren didn’t know why she felt so comfortable around Nikki, but she was certain of one thing: he could turn his back on her, and she’d made the decision long ago that if she could avoid getting hurt, she’d do so at all costs.
“You’re not the only one here with a fucked-up past,” Nikki said softly when he noticed Wren shift in her seat, as if she were about to retreat from the awkward, raw, naked vulnerability of their conversation. “I know it’s hard to get close to people—why else do you think things didn’t work out with London? And I’m serious about what I said; just because I don’t know you like Tommy does doesn’t mean I don’t want to know you.” Wren rose from her seated position and stretched her spine out before responding to Nikki’s comment.
“What do you want to know, Sixx?” With a playful smirk across her face, Nikki half suspected her walls were back up, but the way she rested her back against the railing, her elbows propped up behind her rather than crossed over her body in defense, made him realize she was opening herself up to vulnerability.
“How about tomorrow, we work on some new music and hang out, just the two of us?” The smirk on Wren’s face fell into a soft smile as she nodded in agreement.
“That sounds nice,” she admitted. Nikki’s eyes fell over Wren’s face in the overly inquisitive way they had when he had walked outside, and as she noticed his gaze change, Wren reached for her newspaper and then pointed at the coffee mug.
“You can have the rest of that if you want; it’s my second cup and I have to piss.” Nikki chuckled once the door became a barrier between the pair then picked up her mug to taste a bold, black coffee with hints of mint, and once again he was faintly reminded of what her lips would taste like.
Inside the apartment, Tommy had hung up the phone with Mick, who was calling to let him know he was on his way over. “Is Vince coming too?” Tommy asked once Nikki filed back into the apartment. “Wait, what were you guys doing outside?”
“Reading the paper and drinking coffee, like I do every morning,” Wren returned and lightly thwacked a portion of the paper against Tommy’s chest and placed another part of the paper in Nikki’s hands.
“Oo! Cartoons!” Tommy cooed as he dropped onto the couch and began to flick through the pages.
“I highlighted the equipment I found for-sale. I thought we could show Vince and Mick and see if there’s anything we want, or anything we can trade,” Wren’s intonation turned upwards and her eyes widened into those of a doe as she tried, yet again, to convince Nikki to trade the extra guitar amplifier that Rick had used for a second bass drum for the drum set.
“Again, with this?” He huffed with a smirk before dropping the folded papers on his amp and grabbing his bass. He tried to be genuinely mad at her suggestion when she first brought it up, but failed miserably in doing so. Since then it’s become a bit: Wren would bring it up, Nikki would feign frustration, they’d discuss it for a moment, but both parties knew that, in the end, neither would budge. At the end of today’s rendition of the bit, Wren rolled her eyes, picked up the papers, and dropped onto the bass amp as Nikki turned his attention to the fret and began to tune his instrument to precision—a feat Wren was incredibly impressed with since he had done the same thing merely a few hours ago, just before he went to sleep.
“It’s collecting dust,” Wren retorted as she pointed the papers in the direction of the extra amp and then dropped her arms as she returned her attention to Nikki.
“Maybe you can use it as a seat,” Nikki sneered as he eyed Wren up and down where she sat; her back was upright in an impeccable posture, and Nikki rolled his eyes at the sheer knowledge that Wren’s posture was due to her practicing yoga in her room early in the morning or late at night to calm whatever nerves overcome her enough to have frequent nightmares.
“Wren sits between us so she can make sure we’re on tempo,” Tommy commented without looking up from Calvin and Hobbes. “She also likes sitting near you so you two can make your judging comments about each run through.”
“Tommy only has two feet! One for the bass drum and one for the hi-hat, what is he going to do with a second bass drum?” Nikki stated as he moved his tuning to the next string and continued to flick his eyes between his fret and Wren.
“See, judging comments,” Tommy muttered dryly as his interest in the conversation between his friends faded and was replaced by that of a blonde boy and tiger.
“What about getting Vince a better mic? He always gets tangled in the wire. We could get a cordless one,” Wren suggested as Nikki tried to strum his bass strings harder to overpower her voice. His attempt was fruitless when Wren leaned over and turned off the volume on his amplifier.
“Why does everyone else get something from this except me?” Nikki complained as he moved on to the next string on his guitar.
“Fine, what do you want, Sixx?” Wren huffed as she let her legs down from their crisscrossed position and leaned herself backwards, supporting her weight with the heels of her hands and bringing her shoulders back. Nikki swore she was pushing her chest higher to get her way, that her posture had changed as a means to manipulate him, that she had set this whole thing up, that her kindness and slight vulnerability outside being just a ruse to get him to agree to trade in something he had no physical or emotional attachment to other than it being a constant conversation piece between him and her. Before he spoke, Nikki narrowed his eyes at Wren and smirked.
“I want my extra amplifier.” His cocky tone only enhanced the smug look over his face as his eyes refused to move from Wren’s narrowed brows and sharp jaw that jutted his way. Tommy laughed at the pair’s interaction and only dropped the antics of Calvin and Hobbes when he heard the familiar chug of Mick’s car pull up to the curb, with Vince’s true love—his girlfriend’s cherry red whatever-the-fuck car—visible not far down the street.
Taking this as her last chance to mess with Nikki before witnesses appeared, Wren gave him the same up and down examination he routinely gave her. He noticed this and the smug, arrogant smirk on his face fell to an almost equally arrogant smile. Cautiously, he walked towards where she had positioned herself on his amp—when she first started doing this, it drove him insane because he assumed she didn’t have any respect for his things, then he realized she only did this because she felt safe near him, and then it drove him insane because he really liked seeing her there every time he turned around. Honestly, during the past two performances at the Whisky, if he turned his head toward his amp, a strong disappointment would overcome him when he realized she wasn’t there. Seeing her now, in a way he’d imagined in the wildest of fantasies—legs draped, arms leaning back, chest high—he bit his lip as he bent over, his face becoming microscopically close to hers, as he turned his amp’s volume back on. He had rested his hand against the side of the amp, forcing his arm to cross behind her back, and when he rose again, he could see her sharp eyes cutting into him as her teeth cut into her bottom lip.
“Your D string is a half-step sharp. You should probably fix that before the guys come back in,” Wren stated with a smirk as she slid from his amp and paced out of the apartment to welcome Mick. Nikki grabbed his instrument and strummed the second thinnest string without hearing the discrepancy Wren had mentioned. It wasn’t until he thought about her eyes trailing over him and the smirk on her face as she spoke that he caught her innuendo.

Twisted Tuesday || Olivia, Gabrielle, Marina, Juliette, Stevie, Wren, Chase, Jonah, Chanel
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: da club // 26th of january.
𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: olivia x gabrielle x marina x juliette x stevie x wren x chase x jonah x chanel ( @kleidoscpe @gabriellehale @chrysolites ).
𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒: underage drinking and a crying juliette
𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: the girls make plans to go out to the club to make olivia feel better about her breakup. cue kisses with random guys and lots of drinks, but when two girls can’t handle their drinks and decide to make a big life change, the boys come in to rescue the girls from the club, much to the chagrin of one’s girlfriend. secrets are spilled and chaos ensues and it is all culminated with wren and chanel’s first i love you.
olivia was excited about getting dressed up and hitting the clubs with the other girls. she needed to not think about jesse for a bit and she needed to just have some fun with friends. and, she needed to just give him space and she needed to remind herself that he wanted out. he wanted them to break up. olivia finished the wine bottle that she had brought with her for the ride and when the uber pulled up outside of the club they were hitting up first, olivia gave the driver a nice chunk of cash before climbing out of the vehicle and brushing her hands over her dress, before looking around for her friends. when she saw gabrielle, she called out for her, " gabbie, " before she ran over to where the girl was. "  hey. wow, you look bomb. even better in real life and that says a lot because you looked breathtaking.”
Gabrielle was a bit nervous about going out without Chase. It might have just been her anxiety acting up as she fought every impulse in her brain telling her not to go. She didn't like being away from Gene but she just kept telling herself the boys got it, they can take care of her. Gabrielle got ready and took an Uber to the meeting place, she got out with a smile. "Livvy, hey, You look fantastic too." She said with a smile. Marina was pretty excited to go out with the girls. Ever since she’s been back in town, all she wanted to do was party and let loose. But she also had to remind herself that things were going good with Antonio. She couldn’t mess that up. Maybe she’d cave and text him to come, but as for now, she wanted to focus on the girls. Once she got out of her Uber she walked over to Olivia and Gabrielle, “You guys look amazing! This is gonna be so fun. We definitely deserve a nice break like this.”
Stevie would have came with Juliette, but her girlfriend said she wanted to surprise her with the outfit she was wearing. She knew the other girls could get a little wild, but Stevie was here for the ride. “Hey guys, thanks for inviting me. Looking amazing, as usual.” she said with a smile.
Juliette had gone to her brothers room to see if he has any wine. He did not. He gave her two double shots of tequila. He agreed to drop her off as a repayment for her driving him and Lexi a month ago. “Ladies” said Juliette showing up in a black body suit and a short leather skirt and she was already giggly. She put her arm around Stevie’s waist, “Hello beautiful” she whispered into Stevie’s ear before she hiccuped. Juliette put her hands back on her own waist, “everyone proud of the outfit? I think i suit the dress code” she said with a smile as she spun around once. olivia turned around and the grin on her lips widened s she looked over at stevie, to see her reaction. a giggle fell from her lips as she put an arm around stevie's waist. "  wow, look at you ms. hastings, you look incredible, "  she said and whistled before a laugh fell from the girl's mouth as she watched their friend spin. "  you did amazing, juliette. we are proud of you. now, " she said and clapped her hands together. the girls looked bomb – " ready to go inside and cause some havoc?  " she asked and wiggled her brows before she started to walk towards the entrance of the club, her stride was confident. olivia was used to this. before she met jesse, she had partied a lot and she also knew how to flirt her way in. she had done it since she was 16. Gabrielle'a jaw dropped when she saw Juliette. "Even better in person." She said with a smile as she tossed a wink at Juliette. "Yes, lets get inside." She said with a smile. Gabrielle had done this quite often during her party phase when she would piss her parents off. Since then she had calmed down a lot, thanks to Genevieve. Gabrielle talked to the bouncer with a smile and handed over her ID before getting into the club, waiting for the others to follow. Before heading towards the bouncer, Marina popped a pill and took her fake ID out. She gave the bouncer a sweet smile and handed them the ID before walking into the club. Stevie raised her brows at Juliette, she couldn’t hide the smile that was growing on her face. “Beautiful? Me? The beautiful one here is you. You look amazing.” she whispered back. It was so hard to hide the relationship she had with Juliette, especially with her looking like that. Sure her friends knew about it, but she was still the mayor’s daughter. Everyone knew her. She handed her girlfriend the fake ID she got for her before showing hers to the bouncer, “This one’s for you.” she said before walking in. “You guys wanna get some drinks first?”  Juliette showed her ID at the door, "Miss Hastings ... or should I say Miss Henderson" said the bouncer and Juliette looked up at him with big sad eyes. "Tell your brother he owes me" the bouncer said with a nod. Juliette felt like she finally caught her breath as she followed Stevie in. "That was so scary, I never want to do that ever again" said Juliette as she met back up with the girls. "Drinks please" she replied as they all headed towards the bar. "What are we thinking?" Juliette asked with a small hiccup.  olivia stood on the inside of the club, looking at her friends and when the bouncer stopped juliette, she bit her bottom lip. she was ready to jump the bouncer, if she needed to. when she got in, and the girls were all reunited, olivia leaned over to juliette and spoke loudly, " i would have gladly flashed him to get you in, you know, "  she said and laughed, obviously teasing her a little bit before they headed towards the bar. olivia pulled out her card and turned to look at the girls. "  okay, drinks on me. as a thank you, for being amazing and incredible friends. " turning to look at the bartender, "  give these ladies whatever they want and put it on this,  " she said, holding the card up, " and we want five shots too, pretty please,. " she said and batted her lashes at the man.  Gabrielle watched as Juliette got stopped. "And that is why you should invest in a real fake ID with your real name on it." Gabrielle said with a laugh. "But see, you got in anyway because bouncers really don't care." She added in. "Flashing would not have been necessary, I could have slipped him a bill or two." Gabrielle added in. Gabrielle followed Olivia and the others to the bar as they got drinks.  Marina smiled at the two girls once they met up with them, “Juliette having a fake ID is probably hard in general since the whole town knows who she is.” she said with a laugh. “But I guess you’ll have to thank Montag for this one. Who would’ve thought?” Marina took hold of her shot and clinked her glass with the girls before downing the shot.
“Sorry, that’s on me. I thought your name was too obvious so I tried Henderson. It’s a nice last name.” she said with a smile. Stevie took her shot with the rest of them and looked over at Juliette, “You want something else or are you taking it slow? I know how much of a lightweight you are.” she teased the girl, nudging her side gently.
Juliette nodded, "Yeah, I think that guy has bounced a fundraiser at our house" said the girl with a sigh. "But yeah, thanking Montag who would have thought he would help me out tonight" replied the girl as they did shots together. "No it was cute, I like that name" said Juliette putting her hand on the other girl's shoulder. "I can do something else, I'm doing okay" she said, up to the challenge. She didn't want to seem like such a dork in front of all of them. "But sugary, I think that's smart. Something that covers up the alcohol taste" the girl said with a nod and a smile. "Once we're done up here, dancing right?" she asked Olivia with a huge smile on her face. She wanted her friend to have a really good night.
olivia giggled softly. juliette was adorable, honestly. once we're done up here, dancing, right? nodding her head, the blonde pushed her hair away from her face. "  oh yeah, definitely!  " she said and took the shot glass, throwing the content back before she turned to look at the bartender. " hey, handsome,  " olivia said and flashed a bright smile at him. "  wanna give us another one?  " she asked and giggled, and it didn't take much before she got the glasses filled. " thank you darling, "  she said as she winked at him. turning to look at the girls, she held up the shot glass and said, " here's to a girl's night we'll never forget!  "  she said and then winked at juliette, making sure only she could see it. " lets find somewhere to sit and then go dance.  "  Gabrielle smiled as she threw back her first shot and waited for the second. She looked around at the club full of people, guys and girls, and it made her a bit nervous. She knew once she got a bit more drunk, she would feel a bit better. She took the second shot and threw it back with a smile. "Yes, lets go dance." She said with a nodd.  Marina noticed the expression on Gabrielle's face as the girl looked around the club. She wasn't aware that Gabrielle got nervous in such crowded places, but she placed her hand on her shoulder and gave her a friendly smile. "If you ever need to take a breather or go to the bathroom, let me know. I know I need breaks every now and then." she said, trying to reassure the girl.
"Yes to dancing!" Stevie handed Juliette the second glass as Olivia got more for the group. She took the second drink and waited until Juliette was finished as well. "There's an empty spot right over there." she pointed out. As they were all walking over to go get a spot to sit, Stevie leaned closer to Juliette, "I can't believe I have to keep my hands to myself when you look this good. What a tease." she whispered in the girl's ear.
Juliette braved up and took the second shot, "I don't think I should have a glass of anything anymore" she said quietly to Stevie. She giggled when Olivia winked at her, "Rinaaaaaa" the girl called out, "And Brielllllllllleeee" she was just so happy and she put her arms around the two and smiled. "I am just soooo happy we're all here to celebrate Livvyyyyyy" she said with a small woooo coming out of her mouth. She was just like her mother. When they headed over to the table to sit for a moment, Stevie got close to Juliette and the girl immediately blushed, "First of all, I want you to know just in case. There are six shots of alcohol in my body right now" she said touching her own nose and then touching Stevies, "scientifically, I should be dead. But I'm not. I'm a fighter and it's girls night!" she slurred with a happy expression on her face. "Third of all" Juliette added, loosing track of her talking points, "people have to go to the bathroom more when they're drunk, so we could go to the bathroom and not go to the bathroom as many times as you'd like" she said with a less than innocent smile as the two sat down with the rest of the girls.  olivia giggled at how happy juliette seemed. i am just soooo happy we're all here to celebrate livvyyyy she shook her head. " celebrate me?  " she said and looked at her friend. "  what are we celebrating? " she questioned curiously. when they headed over to the table, olivia looked at the two of them and smiled at how cute juliette and stevie were. shaking her head, olivia sat down at the table, leaning her forearms against the table in front of her when the bartender came over and gave them the drinks they had ordered. "  i can't believe we haven't done this before now.  "  Gabrielle let out a little laugh seeing Juliette. "Someones fucked up already." She said with a wide smile. "We are celebrating your singleness!" Gabrielle said with a smile. "You are a free woman, now lets go get you a hottie to take home tonight." Gabrielle said with a laugh. "I know. Its so much fun." Marina giggled as she saw Juliette call out to the girls and put her arms around her. She missed hanging out with Juliette. They had grown apart for a bit, but she was glad they were reconnecting, and now Marina had gotten to know Olivia and Gabrielle better. It felt good. "Tonight is about you. I already see a couple cuties nearby." she said as she was scanning the club for cute girls and guys.
Stevie took another drink as the bartender came around, the alcohol was slowly starting to kick in. "Do not tempt me with a good time, Hastings." she said with a small smirk. "Once everyone's doing their own thing, we could sneak off for a bit. I'm sure no one will notice." Stevie would take any opportunity to get some alone time with Juliette. "We deserve some fun too."  "Uh no you're fucked up already" joked Juliette, she knew she was the drunk one but it was still fun. "And yeah Livvy! Celebrating that you're single and can kiss as many boys as you'd like tonight!!" she encouraged. She was on team get back together, but Olivia deserved to have some fun first. Once they were sitting, Juliette put her hand on Stevie's thigh, "I would agree, let's go" she said faking getting up before sitting back down, "This night is all about Olivia, not about my gay agenda" she said quietly to Stevie. "Are we ready to dance?" she asked the group, she wasn't having another drink so she was ready to go.  olivia turned around and looked at the people in the club, her eyes looking at a cute brunette in the corner. she smiled at him then a laugh fell from her lips. she shook her head and turned to look at the girls. it felt wrong, to look at other guys but she was single and jesse didn't want her anymore. she should be able to flirt with guys. are we ready to dance?  " yes, " she said, clapping her hands together excitedly before taking a sip of the drink. she got up again, swinging slightly but making sure to not fall over. she sat down and bit her bottom lip, as the next couple of words that fell from her lips, weren't what she had expected, " do you think jesse has hooked up with someone? " olivia looked at her friends and bit her bottom lip. "  i know i said i wouldn't talk about him, i just... it kind of feels a little wrong. " she then shook her head and sighed, " i'm... i'm sorry, let's dance,  " she said and put a smile on her lips again as she grabbed gabrielle's hand and marina, before pulling them towards the dance floor.   Gabrielle looked at Olivia. "Does it matter if he has? You are single now. He gave you up. It shouldn't feel wrong." Gabrielle said looking at Olivia. She personally didn't know, but she also didn't think it mattered. "Like I said earlier, You are free." She added in as the moved to the dance floor.  Marina smiled as Olivia took everyone to the dance floor. "There's nothing wrong about it. You could do whatever you want, have some fun, girl! This is your night. Plus, it never hurts to make him a little jealous." she winked at Olivia. She wasn't the best influence, but she thought Olivia deserved a fun night. Stevie looked over at Olivia and sighed. If she was completely sober, Stevie wouldn't say it, but she was feeling a little rebellious right now. "Um, actually... He may have... already hooked up with someone else." she said awkwardly. She turned over to Juliette, "Sorry, I never got to tell you. I wasn't sure when I should tell anyone, but Jesse has royally pissed me off." she shrugged carelessly. "It's that cheerleader, Savvy."  "Oh my god! Men are the absolute worst! That is such garbage" said Juliette in a drunk stupor. She was so annoyed by that, Jesse had the most amazing girl ever (Stevie not included) and he just ... dropped her? Out of no where? "You SHOULD make out with someone!" she said confidently, "Can someone tell me which boys are cute? Like cute enough to make out with? Lets get them over here" she added addressing the girl as they all started to dance.  olivia nodded her head at what gabrielle said. " yeah. no, you're right. it shouldn't matter. i mean, i'm single. he's single. he's allowed to do whatever he wants, " olivia said and nodded, giving the girl who had spoken a soft mile. she looked at marina who said that she should do whatever she wanted and it never hurt to make him a little jealous. a soft laugh fell from olivia's lips as they went to the dance floor. but then, the next words caused olivia to stumble a little. " oh. " olivia blinked and looked at stevie, before swallowing against the lump in her throat. she had to admit, it had hurt, but at the same time, he hadn't really done anything wrong. " savvy.. the petite brunette?  " olivia asked, her voice soft. "  i've seen her around. she's pretty,  " she said and nodded, before sinking her teeth into her bottom lip. " no, no, he's not. not really. i mean, he didn't do anything wrong. we're both single, you know? he's... he's allowed to hook up with whoever, " she said as she could feel the walls around her heart begin to re-build. as the girls started to dance, olivia decided that she didn't want this to ruin the rest of the night. " let's not talk about jesse anymore.  this is about us, having fun. i'll deal with the whole jesse thing tomorrow, " she spoke softly as the music turned to a more upbeat one.  Gabrielle jaw dropped as Stevie dropped the news. "Ouch, was not expecting that one." She mumbled. "Yeah, It doesn't matter Liv, You are both single and free to do what you want. Now you don't have to weird or guilty about it." Gabrielle said trying to keep it positive. Maybe that was the drama chase was talking about in the guy group the other day. Weren't Jesse and Stevie close? why would she expose him so hard? Gabrielle knew the group has a whole was going through a lot and she saw how it affected Chase. "Forget Jesse. Have about you go get a taste of him." Gabrielle said pointed to a hot guy on the dance floor.  Marina looked at Stevie with wide eyes, she didn't expect that to come out of her mouth. She wasn't exactly one to start any potential drama, but maybe it was just the alcohol taking over. Marina didn't exactly know how bad the drama was in the other groupchat. "We're gonna find you the hottest guy here." she looked over at Olivia with a sad smile.
Stevie felt pretty bad telling Olivia about it, but maybe it would help her move on. She knew this could potentially bite her in the ass, but maybe it wouldn't. Stevie didn't care right now. She looked over at the boy Gabrielle pointed out and nodded, "Yeah, he looks... attractive." she said as more of a question. "Any guys in school you find attractive? I could always trying hooking you up with them."  Juliette was livid about the whole thing, how dare he hook up with someone. But she put the rage away and was supportive of her friend, "yeah someone you can tote around school who can carry your books and stuff" Juliette said as she tried to be helpful. Juliette moved her hand to interlock her fingers with Stevie's for comfort. "Yeah, Stevie knows all the boys. There's got to be a guy around school who would drop everything for you" she added.  Olivia made a mental note to talk to stevie, to tell her work things out with Jesse because she hated knowing that they weren’t on talking terms. Listening to what the others were saying, she hummed and looked over at the guy in question. “ he’s cute. “ but nothing like Jesse, she thought. When Juliette said that stevie had to know someone at school, she shook her head. “ I’m good. Honestly. “ taking a deep breath, she then went over to the guy they had talked about and introduced herself. A couple of minutes later, she leaned in and pressed her lips against his. Pulling back, she thanked him and went back over to where the girls were. “ now, let’s dance?” It was weird. Olivia hasn’t kissed anyone but Jesse the last couple of months. It felt wrong. But, Olivia needed to move on. Besides, Jesse didn’t want her and he most likely wouldn’t care if she kissed someone. She couldn’t help but wonder if he thought about her? Even the tiniest bit. Though, she wouldn’t be able to sleep with anyone. Not yet anyway. Gabrielle listened to the conversation progress. Once Olivia walked away to talk to the guy she turned and looked at the other girls. "So..." She trailed of awkwardly. She knew tonight was supposed to be fun, but she just felt a ot of tension, but it was mostly in her head. "shit be crazy" She said with a soft smile. Once Olivia got back Gabrielle smiled and nodded. "Yeah sounds good."  Marina downed her drink before she got on the dance floor with the girls. From the pill she took earlier to all the drinks she took, Marina was pretty out of it. She danced to the music with a big smile on her face for a while, before taking her phone out. Marina suddenly had the urge to text Antonio. She was feeling great and her confidence was booming, so she thought he'd appreciate it. Stevie danced with Juliette for a bit before wrapping her arm around the girl's waist to pull her in close, "Bathroom time?" she whispered in her ear. She couldn't wait any longer, she wanted Juliette now. "I just need you all to myself."  While Olivia was off smooching that guy, Juliette couldn’t help but things were awkward. She worried there was something she didn’t know about, and she wondered if Stevie actually wanted Olivia and Jesse together... but then her thoughts were distracted by Stevie’s hand on her waist, being pulled in close. She giggled and nodded when Stevie said bathroom time, “as you wishhh” she said drunkenly as the two scurried off to the bathroom, “we’ll be back in like 5, I gotta pee!!” she called out to the group.  Olivia was having a lot of fun. And she took both Gabrielle and marinas hand out on the dance floor, dancing along with the music playing. Honestly, this was just what she needed. A night out with her friends. For a split second, she forgot about the heartache and Jesse and EVERYTHING else.   Gabrielle put a smile on as she went out on the dance floor. She danced with the girls, periodically checking her phone for the half hour updates from Gino she forced him to do. She also periodically checked twitter while anxiously waiting for Gino's texts. She saw shit was going down but felt it was better not mentioned. - GROUP TEXT -

Wren and Chanel got into the car, he knew he was upsetting her. "I promise I'll make it up to you" he promised as he put his hand on her upper thigh, moving it under her skirt a little. "You don't even have to touch me, I'll do everything" said the boy as he deleted texts with his other hand and passed her the phone. "But you are on phone duty" he said reluctantly as he started the old family mini van. His truck didn't have enough seats. Wren leaned over and kissed her, "You're the best girlfriend of all time" he said as he gave her thigh a squeeze. Chanel had her arms crossed over her chest, pouting her lips like a little brat. She thought they were have a great night... but now Wren had to pick up a bunch of girls? One of them being Juliette Hastings? Chanel would've swatted her boyfriend's hand away, but she liked the attention too much. "Mhm." she hummed as she grabbed his phone. "Why did you have to pick them up? Couldn't Chase do this? Or like, anyone else in that groupchat of yours?" she asked, in a whiny tone. Chanel kissed Wren back and held back a smile, "I really am. I'm like, the absolute best. Just so you know, I'm only letting this slide because it's you." "Baby, I'm the one with a minivan in the garage" he said as he moved his hand up her skirt more, "I promise that there's plenty in it for you. But please dear god, no rumor mill on this?" he asked with earnest eyes. "I swear I am going to spend the next month making it up to you in sexual favors alone" said the boy moving his hand up to her cheek as they kissed. Wren put the car into drive, "So ... long story short your worst enemy is closeted, like severely. She's dating Stevie, and she's trying to come out to her parents tonight because she's very in love and very very drunk. I'm not gonna let her fuck over her living situation over it. Even Montag is closeted at home, and he might be the biggest bottom we've ever witnessed" Wren explained as he pulled up to the Hale's house and Chase popped in. "You've told her?" Chase asked as he buckled up, "Yeah it's a whole thing" he said as he looked over to Chanel. "Don't worry, Wren's just on pick up and carry. I'm on night time care, so you two can get back to bed noise" he said with a proud smile, "proud of the 10 second nut king putting himself back out there" he said with a smirk. "CHASE" said Wren as he pulled out of the driveway. Chanel looked over at Wren and noticed the expression on his face, she of course wasn't going to break his trust by blabbing her mouth to the rest of town. "Okay? I promise, I won't say anything." she said truthfully. As she listened to Wren's whole story, her mouth was completely dropped. She tried her best to avoid the Hastings, but she was completely caught off guard with all this information. Of course she knew Montag wasn't straight, but everyone knew about that whole relationship with Lexi and Kiran. "Oh... my god. Oh my god, what the fuck? Seriously? Like Stevie Summers? Striking vipers Stevie? They're in love? I cannot believe I've been missing out on this." she said with wide eyes. "Okay wow. I get it, I won't say anything. It's not like I wanna talk to her parents anyways. So the secret is safe with me." Chanel looked over at Chase once he got in the car, nodding her head as he asked if she knew about everything. "CHASE OH MY GOD!" she reached over and hit his arm. "That's not funny. It's like, really traumatic, okay?" she whispered to her best friend. "Okay, so you're picking up Jonah & Jesse?" she asked. "Or is Jesse a no?" she asked. Wren had been pretty stressed about his groups drama lately so she didn't know if Jesse was coming along, especially with Olivia being at the club. "It's really cute" said Wren with a small smile. The boy just loved love, it made him so happy to see people happy and in love, especially because he was so in love with The Chanel Hampton that it was stupid. "You are the best, Chanel Hampton. That's why I l-like you so much" said Wren, stumbling over the words. Before he knew it Chase was in the car making fun of how he nut early. "Chase mind your own fucking business or I am going to start bullying you at school for shits and giggles" Wren threatened playfully. "Fair enuf" replied Chase with a laugh, it was way too funny to make fun of the quick nut. Wren gritted his teeth when Chanel asked about Jesse, "Just Jonah" he replied quickly, not adding anything else. "Do not get me started on that, I'll get heated" Chase added before also shutting up. Wren pulled into Jonah's driveway and clicked open the sliding door. Chanel was glad that Stevie was at least happy, and if this somehow took Juliette's mind off of everything that goes down in her family, Chanel was pretty cool with it too. She knew being with Wren helped her a lot, maybe it was the same with Juliette. She looked over at Wren with raised brows, a small smile forming on her face. She thought he was going to say it, but he didn't. She had been too scared to tell him, but she had been feeling ready to tell him he loved her since the day they got together. Crazy, but maybe that's what happens when you have a crush on someone for the majority of your life. "I like you too, babe." she nodded and looked out the window awkwardly. "At least I'm down to dress up for sex." she told Chase as she immaturely stuck out her tongue. That was not something she really discussed with Wren, but she was down to clown. "Right... Got it. No talk of the other brother." she said, referring to Jesse. Once his friends arrived, Jonah got into the car, looking like a wreck. This was such a stressful night, and he had a test tomorrow in chemistry. He could not believe this. "I have brought water for everyone. Stay hydrated, please. This has been a very stressful night for us all." he got into the car and let out a sigh. "Oh, hi Chanel. Do you... know?" he asked. "Hey." Chanel gave the boy a small smile. "That Juliette's gay and in love? Yes." she nodded once. "Ahh. Just perfect." Jonah couldn't imagine how Juliette was going to feel in the morning. "We have the address to this club, right?"
"That's a low blow, we had a full on fight the other night because she basically told me I'm an Olivia and she's a Jesse like I took a buzzfeed quiz, and thennnnn she told me she won't dress up to fuck" said Chase shaking his head, "This week has been a fucking shit show". Once Jonah got in the car, he looked like shit. "Dude are you okay?" asked Chase as the car pulled out of the driveway. "Hey it's a fair trade for her not waking up the Hastings at this hour and getting potentially kicked out or sent to boarding school" said Wren, his Nana had seen Montag around town and talked about the family at dinner one time. It sounded pretty bad, and through what Stevie had said .. he was nervous for the two. "Chanel has the location pulled up that Stevie sent" said the boy, "it's one tab over" he instructed. Before they knew it, they were outside the club. "I’m just on edge right now." Chanel said with a pout, the girl just wanted sex. Jonah then looked over at Chase and shook his head. "I'm gonna be honest, no." he shook his head at Chase. "All this shit with Jesse happened on twitter, and now he's mad at me, but now he's also Jordan. Then this happened. Just a little too much for my anxious brain to take in." Jonah nodded in agreement with Wren, "Yeah I know, but her initial reaction won't be great. N-No offense, Chanel. You're great. But... you know. Juliette's just..." Chanel rolled her eyes, "You don't have to explain, I'm very aware of how she feels about me." Once they got to the club, Chanel walked up to the bouncer and showed her fake ID. She wasn't sure if everyone else had one so she simply batted her eyelashes and smiled sweetly at the bouncer. "They're cool, right?" she pointed to the boys, before the bouncer let them all through. "Wow, thank you so much." she said before dropping the act and walking in. "Alrighty, they can't be too hard to find. Stevie's tall, just look for her." Wren gave her a pouty face in return, he knew this is not what she wanted. Chase put a hand on Jonah’s shoulder, “don’t worry once we get them all home safe you can get some sleep, your brother is going to be okay. I promise” said the boy. He didn’t understand the severity of the situation at all, but he had seen some alarming tweets. They got into the club with ease, Wren not only looked older but he had a fake as well. Chases fake looked horrible, and he was very glad Chanel was here. Gabrielle said she got the girls together, but they were a little all over the place. “Livvy!” said Wren, “you all ready to get home?” He asked. After the last post in Instagram, Olivia’s phone had died so she made sure to stay around the girls. It also meant she hadn’t seen the drama with Jesse online. Turning her head around, she smiled softly as wren approached her. “ wreeeeen hey!” Olivia was drunk but in a good mood. Well, as good as one could be. She hugged him tightly. “I’m ready to gooooo.” Gabrielle tried wrangling up the girls but they were all so drunk and kept moving or running away. She took an exhale as some guy came up to her and put his hands on her hips from behind. Gabrielle spun around and stepped back but this man wouldn't leave her alone. She pushed him away again just as she spotted Chase. Marina was having a great time but she hadn't noticed that some guy was being touchy with Gabrielle. If she did, she wouldn't have hesitated to swing at him. Sometimes she got extra violent when she had this much alcohol in her. Once she saw the group walk up to them, she opened her arms out, "How long have you guys been here? Come dance with us!" Stevie was dancing with Juliette, looking like two fools. Two happy fools, but fools nonetheless. "I'm so in love with you Juliette, I just want everyone to know." she said, showering the girl in quick kisses. "I'm so fucking lucky to be with you, you're the best girlfriend ever." Chase saw a guy bothering Gabrielle as he quickly bee lined for her, "Hey baby" he said as he shoved the other guy away and pulled her in for a deep kiss, his tongue moving into her mouth. He just wanted the other guy to know that she was his girl. Wren smiled, he was glad she wanted to head out. He was worried he was going to have to convince a bunch of drunk girls into his car. "What's the estimated time it will take to get the two love birds into the car? You think they'll be ready to leave?" he asked Olivia as he looked over to see the absolute shit show that was PDA. Juliette giggled when Stevie was peppering her faces with kisses, "I love you so much it's stupid" said Juliette with another giggle leaving her lips. "I can't wait to tell everybody ever" said the girl as she pulled Stevie in for a kiss. "Hey love birds, time to head out" said Wren interrupting.
Olivia shook her head, laughing softly at wrens question. “ honestly I have no idea. It’s nice though, to see them so happy. They deserve it.” Olivia smiled and looked at wren, giving him a gentle bump of the shoulder. “ you too, you know. It’s nice to see you smiling,” she said, slurring the words slightly.
“Babe!” She said as she threw her arms around him and engaged in a passionate kiss. The dude walked off angry. She pulled away from him. “God I missed you,” she said pressing another kiss to his lips. “You are all here? So we can leave now?” She asked, she was in a rush to get out of there. Stevie cupped the sides of Juliette's face as she kissed her back. She then turned her attention to Wren and put her arm around Juliette, "This is a huge day, man. This shit is gonna go down in history." she nodded her head, excited to leave the club. "I'm so fucking proud of her, it's finally the big day." she told her friend. "Let's go babe." "Yeah, I'm just worried about it. They're really drunk" said Wren to Olivia with a shrug. "You're cute, but you know who is not smiling? Chanel right now" Wren replied with a laugh as he saw her getting a drink from the bar. "We can go, but where is Marina?" said Chase as he looked around. He saw Jonah near her but Marina was still dancing up a storm. "Come on Rina" said Chase as he headed towards her, "It's time to go" Juliette stumbled out of the club with Stevie when she saw Chanel at the bar, "Fuck no" she said petulantly, letting a curse word fall from her lips. Juliette took off running down the street. "Fucking hell" said Wren as he chased after her, scooping her up and putting her over his shoulder. "NO!" she said angrily as she hit his back, "You're mean! Put me down! STEEEVIEEEEEE" she called out. " ooh gosh, poor chanel,  " olivia said and laughed softly, shaking her head in the process. " but yes, we should*definitely get going,  " she said and nodded as she started to walk in the direction of the door with wren.once they got outside, olivia's eyes widened at the commotion that juliette was making before she took off running down the street. Gabrielle followed chase around as the started to collect the group. “Do we have everyone? Can we go?” The former blond questioned. Jonah was trying to get Marina’s attention to tell her that they needed to leave, but she just wasn’t listening. Once she heard Chase’s voice, she pouted her lips, “Aww no, but Jonah and I are dancing.” she said as Jonah exhaled deeply. This was exhausting. Marina eventually gave in and went to the car with everyone else. Once Chanel had gotten inside the club, she ordered herself a drink from the bar and immediately went back to the car. She was on her phone, checking through all the twitter drama while she waited for everyone to come back. She then looked out the window to see Juliette running the opposite direction and Wren scooping her up, “What a hot mess.” she said to herself as she looked back at her phone. Once Wren came back with Juliette, Stevie shook her head. “Dude... Low blow.” she said, referring to the fact that he brought Chanel here. “It’s alright babe, I got you.” Wren put her down, "Okay Juliette, no running" said Wren as he returned her to Stevie, "I was about to have sex with her, I couldn't be like heyyyyyyy i gotta dip and you can't come" said the boy shaking his head. Wren got into the car and they all filed in, it was all a lot easier than expected. Thank god. Juliette crossed her arms and sat in the back, pouting. "So everybody have a good night?" asked Chase to the car full of people. olivia got into the car and she leaned against the seat, looking at wren and then over at the others as chase asked if everybody had a good night. "  i did. it was definitely what i needed. and i found out that jesse hooked up with someone. so there's that. and, i kissed a guy, which was weird, it felt really wrong, but...   " Gabrielle saw Chanel from a distace before they approached the car. "You brought Chanel here? Juliette is going to have a melt down." She informed chase. This is what she had been avoiding, Chanel and Juliette in the same place at the same time. She still hadn't told Juliette about her and Chanel's conversation. Gabrielle got in the car and moved to the back silently.
“Ohhhh I get, make sure not to bust on her face 20 seconds in.” Stevie patted Wren’s shoulder and looked over at Juliette, “Oh shit babe, I never told you about that.” she held back a laugh. She really seemed to have lost her filter. Once Olivia mentioned that Jesse hooked up with someone, Stevie raised her hands, “Sorry boys, that one’s on me. I thought she deserved to know. Cause fuck him. Besides, there’s nothing wrong with you kissing someone else, Olivia. Kiss as many people as you want.” she gave the girl a thumbs up before beginning to play with Juliette’s hair. Chanel looked over at Gabrielle with a small smile on her face as the girl got into the car, “Hey.” she said softly. All while Marina and Jonah were having a lovely little chat about Star Wars. Wren was a little sad to hear she had already kissed someone else, but Jesse had already fucked someone so it ... seemed well more than fair. "Good for you babe!" said Wren to be supportive and he smiled at her. "How many people in this car are going to talk about the ONE TIME that I nut fast?" said Wren as he started the car, "Because I am not afraid to drive us to the middle of no where and leave you all" he joked. Juliette saw Chanel smile and say hey to Gabrielle quietly. Juliette looked over to Stevie with tears in her eyes. "What is going on?" she whispered quietly, "I think they're friends" she said as a tear rolled down her cheek. Chase turned to the back and started talking about Star Wars with Marina and Jonah. "Jonah you saw the falcon right? Dude it's fucking sick" said Chase talking about his Christmas present. olivia looked at wren and gave him a weak smile. she could feel that he didn't think so, and honesty, olivia wished that she hadn't done it, mostly because she didn't want to ever kiss anyone else. " yeah, i guess so,  " she mumbled and shrugged, before putting a wide smile on her lips. she had managed to perfect the fake smile. she giggled at what wren said and she reached out and ruffled his hair a little. "  oh, come on. you know we all love you. "
Grabrielle flashed Chanel a quick and small smile before pulling out her phone and texting away. She wanted to not focus about the tension in tthe car between Juliette and Chanel and just tune everything out. Chanel’s smile faded as she furrowed her brows at Gabrielle. She thought she’d at least get a hi back since things seemed pretty good between them. But then she remembered Gabrielle’s friendship with Juliette. She rolled her eyes and leaned back in her seat. “Babe?” she raised a brow at Wren, acting as if she doesn’t throw the word babe out to everyone. “Hm, alright. Okay. Good to know.” Chanel nodded her head as she went back on her phone. She was so over this whole thing. Stevie leaned in as Juliette spoke, “You think so?” she asked looking back and forth between Gabrielle and Chanel. “Don’t cry, we’ll get to the bottom of it. She wouldn’t do that to you.” she shook her head as she wiped Juliette’s tears. Jonah nodded his head, “Of course I did, it’s incredible.” he said with a smile. Marina’s face lit up once the present was mentioned, “You really like it? I will happily make you one, Jonah. But for the right price!” she said with a single nod. “Have you been wearing the bracelet too?” "People love me but they won't let me live down the one time I nut fast" said Wren to Olivia with a laugh, it had become such a big joke between all of them at this point it felt like it hadn't even happened to him. "Sorry, not smart" said Wren to Chanel, realizing what he's done, "love you" he replied with a smile, then realizing he just said his first i love you to Chanel in front of an entire car full of people. "Chanel takes everything" said the girl very quietly all the way in the back seat, "But I've still got you" she added as she curled in closer to Stevie, "and everyone is gonna know, especially Saorise because she won't stop hitting me up" "Of course I have" said Chase with a laugh, "Ooooh, you two should come over and we can marathon Lord of the Rings" Chase added. It would be a fun day, "We can have themed snacks even, I fucking love themed snacks" olivia shrugged her shoulders, and she leaned against the seat, listening to people as they spoke. then, when wren said, " love you," to chanel, olivia looked at everyone before she looked at chanel. it was pretty obvious that it was the first time. she sank her teeth into her bottom lip softly; as her smile felt like it was going to explode. she kept quiet, waiting for what would happen next. Hearing the words 'i love you' Gabrielle was not fully paying attention, she opened her mouth to speak, thinking it was chase but she removed her eyes from her phone to realize it was Wren. She kept quiet and went back to her phone, looking st the baby monitors and spying on her fam. Chanel didn’t let the words fully settle in, she just heard Wren say I love you and naturally reacted, “I love you too.” she said with a smile. It took her a second to realize that it was the first time either one of them had said that while they’ve been dating. She froze up a little before slowly looking back at her phone. Stevie wasn’t focusing on Wren and Chanel, she was too busy listening to Juliette. “Saoirse?” she asked, kind of thrown off by the sudden mention of the girl. “Does she wanna fuck you too?” “Dude I love themes snacks. We have to do that.” Jonah agreed instantly. Marina nodded her head quickly, “Rosie and I have a bunch of good recipes! We love going all out for our movie marathons.” He gripped the steering wheel tighter when she said it back, he can't believe he blew the perfect words on this moment. Wren pulled up to Jonah's house first, "Thank you Jonah for the assistance, please get a good nights sleep okay bud" he said as he hit the button for the sliding door. Luckily it hadn't been too hard to get the girls into the car. "She keeps texting me, and I keep telling her that I'm straight" said Juliette before waving bye to Jonah. "Text me" she called out behind him. "It's a plan then" said Chase to the two of them before Jonah had to hop out of the car. "Marina and Liv, you two are welcome to sleep at the carriage house. Stevie and Juliette, it is required by law that you are not allowed anywhere near the Hastings estate" said the boy. "But I have to go home and tell my parents" said Juliette, drunkenly, "For a gay man you are very homophobic".   olivia bit her bottom lip when chanel said she loved him back. " i'll sleep wherever someone wants me, to be honest. marina, wanna cuddle with me at the carriage house? " she asked and grinned widely, before shaking her head as she gave jonah a soft wave, feeling her heart ache as hey stopped outside of jonah and jesse's house. Gabrielle chimmed into the conversation. "Chase is not gay. I got the hickeys and scratch marks to prove it." She said, not removing her eyes from the phone. They also had a child as proof, but she wouldn't outright say that. "Later Jonah!" She said looking up to give him a wave goodbye. Once they got to his house, Jonah let out a small sigh. He was hoping his foster parents weren’t waiting at the door for him. He was already trying to cover for Sailor tonight, so him leaving too wasn’t the smartest idea. But he had to help Juliette. He nodded to Juliette once she said to text him, and waved to everyone else. “Bye guys, see you tomorrow. Hopefully.” “Yeah she’s very stubborn.” Stevie shook her head as she thought of Saoirse. “I can always talk to her. Tell her that your my girl and my girl only.” Marina had texted Antonio that she’d come over tonight but once Olivia suggested they cuddle, she sort of forgot about it in the moment. “I will never say no to cuddles.” she said with a smile. “Hold up, your house? No man, we’re going to Juliette’s house.” Stevie wagged her finger in front of Chase’s face. “Stick to the plan.” "We can just makeout by her locker and show her what's up" said Juliette with a little giggle, she liked being just Stevie's girl, and she wanted everyone to know it right now. Desperately. "You are actually sticking to our plan Steve" said Wren as he drove to the Hale house, "Juliette can talk to her parents when it isn't 1 am on a school night" he said as he shook his head, "But right now what is being offered is a bed, some bread probably, and a lot of water". olivia smiled softly at marina, nodding her head. " ahhh, it's a date, " she said and grinned, before leaning her head back and looking out of the window as they drove off, dropping jonah off Gabrielle waited for them to arrive at her house. “Fuck yeah we can. We can make out wherever we want now. We could do whatever the fuck we want.” Stevie couldn’t contain her excitement, she was so ready to show Juliette off to the entire world. After Wren spoke, Stevie furrowed her brows in confusion, “Are you taking us to some anti-gay jail or something?” Once they got to the Hale house, Marina hopped out the car, stumbling a bit before getting her balance back. Stevie also tried her best to get her and Juliette out the car. Once everyone was out of Wren's car he called out goodnight. "I really meant that, by the way" said Wren sitting in the driveway with Chanel. "Like meant it meant it" he added looking down at his lap, not sure if he wanted to see her reaction. "Whoa there little filly" said Chase in a southern accent, just because it was funny, "Need some help?" he asked Marina after he saw her stumble. "I want to go home" said Juliette with a sad face, but she was being taken out of the car. Then her drunk mind remembered Chase had a spare room, "wait hold up, if we go quick we can get that spare room" said Juliette, "I don't want to talk to my parents, I want to go to the bedroom" she said looking at Stevie with a big smile on her face, nodding her head a lot as she stumbled a little. "Bed, now, pleeeeeease" she said as she pressed her mouth against Stevie's. She dashed over to Gabrielle and Olivia, "I'm gonna have S-E-X" she spelled out to her friends, it was very loud and Stevie definitely heard, but as far as Juliette knew she was having a very nice private conversation with Gabrielle and Olivia. when juliette went over to her and gabrielle, olivia looked at the gabbie and then a juliette. i'm gonna have sex. " oh, are you now,  " she said and chuckled softly. she had been loud enough, so stevie had definitely heard her.  " are you sure you want your first time to be when you're drunk and most likely not gonna be able to remember anything tomorrow though?  " Gabrielle got out of the car, happy to be home. As Juliette came over, Gabrielle let out a small laugh. "Just please not in Chases bed." She said. "Go, Go get it girl. Have fun." She turned to Olivia, "10$ she passes out the second she hits the bed."   Chanel sat awkwardly in the car as everyone was getting out. She turned her attention to Wren as he began to explain. “I did too, really.” she said truthfully. “Like, I wasn’t just saying it because you said it. I do, love you.” she looked at him with a small smile. “Ah, is it time to get in character?” Marina giggled. “If so, a princess will always accept assistance from her favorite knight.” she said in British accent. Once Juliette mentioned a bedroom, Stevie completely forgot about going to the Hastings’ house. She kissed her girlfriend back deeply and nodded in response, “Then what are we waiting for? Bedroom, now!” Wren looked up to Chanel, "I love you" he said while he was looking at her this time, "I love you and I really mean it" said the boy as he reached out to hold her hand as they sat in the Hale driveway in a car that wasn't even really his. Wren leaned in to kiss her. Chase put his arm around Marina to put her in a small headlock, "Imposter!" he called out, "Wrong accent, you fail the test" he joked as he went to go unlock the carriage house for the girls. "There are lots of sweatshirts and things, go ham. I'm gonna go sleep at Gabrielle's" he announced as the girls filed in, "Help yourself to anything in the fridge". Juliette and Stevie quickly called dibs on the spare room. olivia waved at them and she smiled at marina, " well, girls' night, right? " she said and giggled softly as she walked over to the fridge. " do you wanna keep drinking or do you wanna sleep? " she asked and looked at marina curiously, as their friends had left the two alone. Gabrielle stood outside and waited for Chase. "Do you think they will be okay in there? Without a supervisor and everything?" She said as she reached out and took his hand. Chanel’s smile grew as she heard Wren say that he loved her. This wasn’t exactly the time or place she pictured this happening, but she felt loved by him, and that was the most important part. “We should probably head home, we have some things to take care of.” she said after leaning over to kiss him. Marina laughed as she tried to break free, “I shall never fail!” she announced before walking into the house. “Sounds good, goodnight you two.” she said with a smile. She then turned to Olivia and yawned, “My heart wants one more drink but my brain wants sleep.” she answered as she tugged on Olivia’s arm. “Tonight was fun, we gotta do it again.” "You mean I have things to take care of" said Wren remembering his promise from earlier, "Remember, no touching" he said after they kissed, "All about you".

‘You never think that you can fly, you'll always swim against the tide. Don't you know your pain is mine? And I would die a thousand times to ease your mind to ease your mind. Hold tight, you're slowly coming back to life, I'll be keeping your head up, i’ll be keeping your head up darling’
Home or Hogwarts?
Hogwarts. Home has always been a complicated place for Lottie. While she adores her parents and there is comfort found with them, unfortunately with her extended family often comes countless complications; particularly on her mothers side. Being associated with the infamous twenty eight, often comes with pressures that Lottie could never find herself living up too. Out of her family, Lottie is rather a ‘black sheep’. One of the few who holds compassion for muggles, there is often alot of toxic hatred that makes her uncomfortable to say the least. Not to mention the pressures from her grandmother.
Five memories:
wren: while the best friends might be in different houses, it never meant that they wouldn’t be found spending slipping into each other’s dorms from time to time. They were perched on Lottie’s bed painting nails and talking about everything and anything like they always did. There was never something that Lottie felt like she couldn’t share with Wren. From laughing, Lottie accidentally knocked a bottle with of light eggshell polish across her bed side table, to this day it is still stained onto the base wood of her bed after splattering. @wrenfawcett
The dorm mates: Lottie was always extremely grateful that she was blessed coming to Hogwarts with wonderful dorm mates. Though all of them had separate friendship groups, it didn’t stop them all from equally enjoying one another’s company. Having spent countless nights sharing out sweets kindly brought by Alice ( @alicelightwccd), giggle water that Lottie provided from her little extension charmed purse,  Bryonay offering her wishful love stories and gossip,  Prudence loud and wild always offering adventurous mischief they could all partake in and of course Juliet to keep them all in line.
ted: it had been one of the quidditch after parties, all of the teams were invited and of course it had ended up back at the Gryffindor common room; especially with the marauders who were notorious for throwing the best parties at Hogwarts it seemed inevitable. Lottie had been dancing on the table with Mary like she ended up doing so often, after having a glass or two of her famous giggle water mixed with peach juice. Hoping truth be told it would offer a small distraction from Ted and his girlfriend. Having been best friends with James as children, Lottie had been sitting laughing with them all when the boys got boisterous. A member from ravenclaw team accidentally elbowing her in the back of the head and spilling their drink on her. Of course it was no harm done and she’d gone back up to her dorm to change and put ice on her head. If anything a little glad to not have to see the happy couple. She was happy for him of course she was, Lottie only wanted happiness for him. But that didn’t mean it didn’t pull at her heart strings any less. The blonde had been sat on the floor at the bottom of her bed, cat on her lap when Ted had popped his head in to make sure that she was okay. The pair had ended up sat side by side on the floor, talking and laughing quietly together while the party raged on downstairs. If it hadn’t been for his girlfriend, she would have told him how she felt then. She almost did when he’d mentioned not having seen her alot recently - mainly because she’d been avoiding him for her own heart’s sake - but she’d never do that to him; especially not seeing how happy he was. Instead she’d teased that he was too preoccupied and should go back downstairs to his lovely girlfriend. Leaving it as just another added almost moments. @teddybeartonks
Pebbles: Being sent off to hogwarts with a cat, Lottie holds great affection for her little furry friend. Though over the years he has taken a liking to sharpening his claws on one of the bed posts, leaving scratch marks that she has to try and repair every year.
Herbology: Plants had always been a passion of Lottie’s ever since coming to Hogwarts. She’d been trying to grow a small little flower bed on her window shill and had added an little extra feed grower in hopes to speed up the process. She’d come back that evening to flowers having grown all across her window, around her things on her bed side table and up the side of her bed. It took weeks before she stopped picking petals off of her belongings.
10 things you could find in lottie’s corner:
1) plants upon plants: It is no secret that Lottie has a adoration for plants and herbology. In her first year she hung up a few little plants at the top of her canopy bed in hopes that they would intertwine themselves over the years and they did just that. Leaving them trailing down her curtains and across the four posts.
2) little blue tea cup: Though she mainly uses it for water in the middle of the night, it is something that is always by her bed side table
3) hanging cat bed: Lottie is fortunate for her little bed to be by a window, something that she loves dearly. As does her cat. She got Pebbles at the beginning of her Hogwarts journey and fell in love with the little white cat. Quickly becoming apparent that Pebbles loved the window just as much as Lottie, so she managed to hang a little hanging bed for him/her to the side of the window.
4) Point shoes and ballet tutu/ dance wear: Even while at hogwarts, Lottie tries to practise ballet atleast a couple of times a week. Originally forces upon her by her grandmother deeming it would make her more elegant and poised. Encouraged by her mother that it would help her greatly in duels for the balance it would bring; Lottie actually found that she simply enjoyed it for the escapism. While she still does it to keep her mother and grandmother happy, it’s become more something that is hers; rather than what she has to do to please someone else. Finding the room of requirement a little safe haven after wondering around trying to find a quiet place she could dance. Though she still uses the Herbology tower and more often the top of the herbology staircase, finding it a more peaceful escape to twirl around the fountain.
5) wild flowers: without fail, Lottie always has a little pot of flowers by her bed side. Normally a small range of wild flowers, blue bells, lily of the valley, lavender extra; it makes her feel calm and a little more like the space is her own.
6) A throw blanket: A tapestry blanket from home, it was a gift to Lottie from her parents when she was in her second year. With swans gracefully along the top and bottom border of the throw, the rest is adored with dainty red and white flowers which can always be found on the blonde’s bed.
7) Hair pins: Though she normally saves them for special occasions or parties, Lottie keeps a small little cushion of dainty hair pins which had belonged to her mother and were passed down. Normally with some kind of twist or braid in her hair, it just adds a small little special touch from home.
8) Her enchanted purse: gifted to her by her Aunt when she was fifteen, the little 50′s beaded purse holds an undetectable extension charm which comes in handy for parties. It’s an easy way to hide and keep drinks, enough for herself, room mates and friends to all have a good time. Of course it normally makes her the bag lady at most parties for everyone’s lipsticks, but she really doesn’t mind.
9) A little pot for her jewerly: Lottie is a minimalist when it comes to her accessories, but she always wears a little pendant necklace from her father’s family, small single rings and small earrings. When she’s not wearing it, they can always be found in the little pot.
10) bed sheets: Truth be told, coming to hogwarts Lottie was a little home sick her first and second year. While she adored learning and the friends she was making, a part of her missed the familiarity of home. The touch of home helps her to feel more settled and she still switches them out now to make her feel more at ease, even if her family situation is a little more strained.

maybe.
"Get that tush back to bed,  my dude!" A giggling toddler ran down the hallway and into his room. Putting the kids to sleep took twice the amount of time now than it did when Gigi was around. Whenever he thought he had it down, one of them would escape out their room. This time it was Ian.
Maddox shut Jane's door carefully so as to not wake her up and then crossed the hall over to Ian. When he opened the door he saw a tiny version of himself jumping up and down the bed chanting, "Mewe! Mewe! Mewe!" "Dude..." Maddox sighed, mostly in exhaustion. He never liked calling his kids attention when they did something bad and there was nothing he liked less than scolding them. It just happened to be tougher now that he couldn't sign off the duties over to Gigi. "You're going to wake up your sister, stop that" and with a snap of a finger Ian got the idea that Maddox wasn't messing around. That's usually all it took. A snap of Maddox's fingers and the kids knew that they'd be in deep trouble if they didn't listen. Maddox wasn't the type of dad to raise his voice, but man could he make you feel bad by telling you how disappointed he was.
"C'mon, man. Let's get you tucked in and sleeping. I have to be at work in a few hours." He grabbed the toddler, kissed his forehead and tucked him into bed. "Extra tight so you don't squirm out," he smiled down at his kid who smiled back at him. He liked being a dad. He liked thinking about what his dad would have done in certain situations and then doing it better. He liked when Jane and Ian ran around like crazy because it made him feel like they were happy and if they're happy, well, so was he. But damn, did he miss Gigi. Being a parent felt 10000x safer when you had a co-pilot there with you. He couldn't say that he was still doing at all alone. Now he had Mere. Mere had miraculously swept in and saved the day when she arrived. Whenever he had long shifts at the hospital, she was there to watch over the kids. Whenever he had short days at the clinic, she was there to watch the kids AND hang out after. Even when Maddox took the kids over to Gigi, she stuck around with him and he enjoyed having her around. Things didn't feel as lonely and she made him feel at home. Mere was home.
"Mewe!" Ian yelled out as Maddox spaced out. "Shh. Mere is sleeping... like you should be. The faster you go to sleep, the faster you'll get to play with Mere." Maddox wasn't even done talking when the toddler had his eyes closed already.
"I think you have your first crush, little dude..." Maddox sighed and sat on his kid's bed. "But she kinda has a thing for your old man..." Ian was asleep now but Maddox kept talking. "Maybe. Maybe, you know? Maybe it's just that she's a little lost like me right now. We're both trying to figure out what we're doing. You'll know what that's like one day. And she thinks she likes me but... she's, well, Mere. I've never even looked at Mere with my own eyes. I've always seen her through "you're my best friend's girlfriend" eyes. And we love uncle Wren. A lot. But uncle Wren just isn't around anymore, really... and Gigi isn't around anymore... so it's just us. You, Jane and me. And Mere... who likes me. Maybe. And like, I feel something, you know? Maybe. Like I do feel something in my chest whenever I look at her now but... I don't know if I should. But I kinda want to. Maybe. If I look at her with my eyes, I want to. A lot. You know?" Maddox looked down and saw a sleeping toddler, drooling on his pillow. "Good night, man." He kissed his forehead again and got up to get ready for bed, except the whole time he was brushing his teeth he thought about Mere. And while he laid in bed, trying to sleep, all he could think about was Mere. But this time he wasn't thinking of her as Wren's friend or Gigi's boyfriend/husband, this time he thought about her as Maddox. And it kept him up all night.

Cause I'm a little Unsteady (Chapter 1) ;; By Pixie
a me before you au, biadore style. bianca del rio is no drag queen, but a former female lawyer who after an accident that left her paralyzed, has found no meaning in life, and seems to be set on not enduring this pain any longer. then, in comes adore delano. (not a drag queen, but a biological woman.) from the moment she locked eyes with this female, with her ripped tights and free-spirited mindset, she was fascinated, but of course, she didn’t want to show it. will she manage to show her the real meaning of life before its to late?
“take the job, adore.”
adore delano listened to her girlfriend’s voice as she responded to a text message from her mother. as she put her phone back into her extreamly large purse, she looked up at violet with a soft grin on her face. she looked absolutely stunning in pink corseted gown, and her deep brown curls falling over her shoulders and framing her face. as an opera singer, adore got to see her girlfriend in some very beautiful pieces. sometimes, adore had no idea how she got so lucky.
“see something you like?” violet giggled, giving her a playful wink.
“you look stunning.” adore breathed, standing up to take it all in. “do you really think i should?”
violet giggled. “darling, we’ve been together for what, seven years now? from all these years i’ve known you, you’ve been great at everything you do. you can absolutely do this. you’ve taken pretty great care of me, yeah?” she assured the other girl, kissing her nose. “it’s not easy dating an opera singer.”
dispite the different shades of lipstick the two were wearing at the moment, adore leaned in to kiss her anyway. “fine. i’ll call them when we get home.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“miss delano, right this way. bianca’s room is right down this hall. trinity, her regular doctor will show you what to do.”
as bianca heard her mother’s voice echoing down the hallway, she couldn’t help but roll her eyes. she had been seemingly trying to throw caregiver after caregiver in her direction the past year.. did she really think this was going to change anything at all? she wasn’t happy. it was obvious from the cold, dim look in her eyes that she had already made her decision. she wasn’t used to being on the bottom of the food chain, restricted from doing the things she used to love doing. but at least she had the rain. watching it pitter down the window, she felt a soft, thin lipped grin tug at the corners of her lips. in what most people found the ugliest of times, her mother had always told her that bianca had a habit of trying to discover the good. and of course, people were running from the water falling from the sky, while bianca would have given anything just to stand swiftly from the wheelchair that kept her so confined and run outside and prance in it until her dress was soaked.
as the door behind her opened, she felt herself snapping out of her daydream and returning to earth. caregiver number 16, fun.
“bianca.” her mother spoke, wandering to face her daughter. “this is adore.” after a few moments of complete silence, she sighed. “i’ll leave you two to get aquatinted.”
at this point, bianca decided it would be best to asses the person her mother had implanted into her space. hitting a button on her wheelchair, she turned so that she was now looking into this girl’s eyes.
her mother had certainly made an interesting choice. this girl had long hair that was a deep black, and her current attire consisted of a plaid flannel shirt that seemed to be entirely to big, a pair of ripped, high-waisted jeans and converse. she was beautiful in the face, with a piercing glare and full lips that were at the moment colored a soft orange.
“so, are you going to just stare at me, or are we actually gonna get to know each other?” adore chucked, raising a plucked eyebrow.
“let me make something clear.” bianca hissed, her tone so sharp it could have sliced right through cheese. “we are not friends. you work for me and that is it. you will come only when i call you, and that is it. understand? good. now go make some tea or whatever it is you do.”
adore nodded, taking this opportunity to show herself out into the little kitchenette off of the bedroom.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a few hours had passed now, adore occasionally peaked through the door to see if bianca was doing alright, but otherwise, she was on her own. picking up her copy of pablo neruda poems, she took a sip of what must have been her third glass to tea, but she had spiked this one with a little vodka to loosen her up a little. what was it with miss del rio? well yeah, adore was aware of her current state, but why did it make her so uncomfortable to be around. she needed this job. the money was excellent, and at home, the rest of the delano’s were just scraping by.
she needed to do this.
she thought of hope, her sister and her child, casey, who barely had enough to pay for casey’s education, let alone a new house. she thought of her mother, wren, and her father, george, who had raised her to see everything through.
sadly, there was no turning back, even if the person she was working for was a miserable hag.
at least she had dr. bonet. dr. trinity k. bonet was a beautiful, young, african-american woman in her early thirties who had made it very clear to adore that if she needed anything, even just someone to talk to, she was just a phone call away.
“adore!” bianca shouted from the next room. “can i have something to eat?!”
rolling her eyes, adore stood up, and put a can of soup in the microwave.
think about the money, think about the money.

A Hunter and an Apprentice
AU: A botched mission to steal an Imperial experimental slip gate device goes awry and former bounty hunter Mira Wren Bridger is paying the price in the form of a teenage version of herself. Mira belongs to @meldy-arts
Mira Wren Bridger didn’t know what to think. She never believed in the bending of space and time but after what she saw, she doesn’t know anymore. After all, she took on a cult of dark side users with a legendary Jedi and a Jedi who would become her girlfriend. But this takes the cake obviously. Standing in front of her is a teenage version of herself. She never imagined herself with long hair and armor that is tactically compromising in terms of color. When she was her age, she was shooting blasters in the VR room and doing exercises while listening to her music player in break time. It was Kanan’s idea to let her stay in the Ghost since her ship, the Poltergeist, has too much dangerous equipment in it.
(Padawan) Mira looks around the ship to see that nothing has changed much. Sabine’s room is still her room alongside her father’s and uncle Kanan’s as her counterpart silently observes her. Her communicator goes off to show that Blare is calling causing her to pick it up.
“So how’s the little sister go?” Blare asks her.
“She stopped panicking after she was spooked to see me. Her gay version of her.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira replied and snickered.
“Of course, so I take it she’s wandering the ship and checking our stuff out?” The Jedi asks again.
“Yeah of course. She isn’t surprised though. I guess there’s things that are the same in her world.” She replied. (Bounty Hunter) Mira notices that her counterpart is in her room.
“Hey I gotta go, see around....Tonight~” (Bounty Hunter) Mira flirted causing Blare to get flustered.
“S-Sure.” The Jedi logs off as (Bounty Hunter) Mira follows herself into her room. She hears a dark saber discharge causing her to turn to see (Padawan) Mira holding and raising it.
“This.....This is my mom’s.” (Padawan) Mira observed.
“Well currently it belongs to me.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira replied.
“You know what the dark saber symbolizes right?” She asks.
“Yeah though I didn’t know what it meant fully back then and I just thought it was a present.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira answered remembering how she received it from Captain Phasma as a gift for her birthday.
“Where did you get from?”
“An old friend gave it to me and I kept it ever since. I guess that was the first warning that I would become a Jedi or a foreshadowing.” The woman replied. (Padawan) Mira looks around her counterpart’s room. On the wall is an old imperial propaganda poster and also a old stormtrooper helmet on (Bounty Hunter) Mira’s desk. Then turns to her.
“Huh....You seem to like to collect trophies.” She observed them.
“Oh I have a butt load of those in my ship. This is a tiny fraction you get.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira bragged.
“You have a ship?! My dad would never give me a ship until I’m older!” (Padawan) Mira excitedly asks.
“Well my parents were pretty awesome and let me have a ship when I learn my flight lessons. Perks of becoming a bounty hunter! Besides no resume, just need a gun and a certain set of skills.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira replied.
“Jeez, you’re pretty awesome.” (Padawan) Mira complemented.
“My training didn’t come from my parents though, they came from someone else.” She explained.
“Who?” The question irks her. How would she react that she was raised by the First Order? How she was stripped away from her family and forced to become a stormtrooper then rescue and intelligence agent? She can imagine it now and the thought isn’t pretty. But she can’t lie to herself at all. (Bounty Hunter) Mira sighs and walks towards the stormtrooper helmet then picks it up and looks at it.
“.....Kid, do you know how stormtroopers are recruited to the First Order?” She asks.
“Yeah, they’re kidnapped and forced into recruitment. Undergo rigorous training and then they are inducted.....” (Padawan) Mira replied before her eyes widen up realizing what she once was. A silence falls upon them both as the padawan’s eyes are full of sadness as she can feel her sadness and holds back her tears thinking of the pain she went through. (Bounty hunter) Mira sits down on her bed.
“I was a stormtrooper or at least, started out as one. But I was different from the others and treated differently too. I was raised by captain Phasma who was basically my parent. She treated me like a daughter and a soldier. Even I was given special privileges like having a relationship. Something no trooper has. I didn’t feel special though, I felt like every other trooper and did my routine things while living a somewhat normal life.....” (Bounty Hunter) Mira explained her past.
“I participated in training while listening to music on break time, hung out with officers even Kylo Ren, even did semi-missions like breaking up a protests. Heck I had a girlfriend once when I patrolled back at Jakku until I was put into a special weapons facility where a coup happened....It was started by my parents and I didn’t know. Heck I almost killed Zeb for kriffs sake!” She softly spoke and half laughed as her counterpart looks in pity and sadness.
“But everyone who had something to do with my parents, those who saw my face tried to talk to me saying how they missed me. I never believed in any of them cause if I let myself believe my folks were alive, if I somehow believe that they may come back and save me? I’d never have learned to survive or learn the lessons I learned.”  (Bounty Hunter) Mira looks deeper into the mask.
“I got back to Jakku and that’s where I jumpstarted my relationship with the girl there. Heck, we were even planning to run away together but...I realized I was going to be the death of her. I would get her in trouble so...I broke up with her.”
“All for the sake of....Keeping her safe.” (Padawan) Mira muttered.
“Believe me, everyday I couldn’t bear the thought of thinking about her. Our meeting. Our friendship. Our love. Our first time....It was burned into my head. But I kept on going, acting like it never happened, quite sure she did the same too. The coup though from last time....I ended it. I formulated a plan to warn First Order command and it got the attention of the First Order Rescue and Intelligence division. The most elite of the order, only a handful of the finest and unique stormtroopers can be chosen and revoke their title as trooper....turned agent. They specialize in civilian rescue and many other things. I was chosen by director Thrawn himself during the on-sight decision day.” She sighed.
“I guess the First Order does care people....”
“Have you seen our base in Aqualae? It’s a paradise. Order has been brought. Anyhow, I became an agent or at least an agent in training. Us agents are given a choice to decide what we are. Agents come in different forms and once they become an agent, their names are given back to them to have that sense of identity. One agent can destroy an entire base in hours. I wanted to make the dark saber have a purpose so I decided to pick my major in being a super commando and minor with saber training with drill sergeant Saim Qua’Deesh, a cyborg Kaleesh similar to Grievous. I graduated and was given the option to have a team so I did choose. Agents like to work alone sometimes but I like to have company. So I was assigned to a team of two people consisting of the son of agent Kallus and the daughter of Maketh Tua who is a pilot. It was only Kallus and I though who took care of things on the ground while she shot anything that flew towards us. But our team began to grow with Zuke and Blackjack, a demolitions specialist and the daughter of the Seventh Sister who is a sniper. We were the best. We fought a murderous cell hellbent on subjugating the citizens as we protected them.....” (Bounty Hunter) Mira softly smiled but her smile turns into a sad frown.
“But with their tactics.....It takes a toll on you. You see unspeakable horrors and atrocities. Losses become common. I’ve fought for years on end as the war went on. But something caught me off guard. I was called in by command to have a session with the supreme leader....And I knew my life was going to get worse from there. He told me that I was....Honorably discharged from the First Order after years of service. Said I needed a break.....At that point, I was scared now. I was offered many recommendations but most of them were desk jobs, most of which I can’t do anything. I had no one to go back to, the girl probably didn’t want to see me again and I would be left jobless. We had a private party obviously. Thanks for your service, see you again....I was even given a ship. A Mandolorian ship known as the Poltergeist and stored many of momentos and weaponry I got there. With a smile and a hug, I left. I decided to use my talents elsewhere. I became a bounty hunter and did my business in Umbra but I had a certain set of codes: No killing of children, trafficking, no murder of Imperial officials, no stormtrooper killing, and most certainly-No business with Hutts.” She remembers how easy it was compared to the insurgents, she would walk through them like they were nothing because of her gear and dark saber also her training.
“I came in quick and fast like nothing. But some people don’t like my code, some like to lie. The only one who did that was a certain Phindian named Moralo Eval. He was involved in the kidnapping of Twi’lek’s and I didn’t know. He got under my nose saying it was a crate full of Relby rifles. I wasn’t until I took a peek when he retrieved it was a bunch of female Twi’lek’s, mainly female, in stasis. So I did what I do. I gave him a refund.....” The moment (Bounty Hunter) Mira clenched her teeth while speaking was that (Padawan) Mira realized she did something horrible.
“I hacked his PA systems, played some easy street on loop then lured him outside....Before I beat him with my fists then kicked him around and finally executed him with my dark saber. He was scum. No one would miss him. I stole his money and freed the slaves before I gave them the money next before I left.” She continued.
“......You’re a monster.” (Padawan) Mira growled.
“I told myself that. I felt my humanity fading away.....I felt like I was becoming something I wasn’t and I accepted it in someway but I hated it. At times I find myself looking straight at the barrel of my own gun knowing I’m living a pathetic and useless existence but somehow I stop myself for some reason. I felt alone....But Kyle Katarn found a way.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira’s voice sounds hopeful. She could feel pity for her, even she wouldn’t last alone by herself.
“Jedi master Katarn?”
“Yes, him. I didn’t care who he was but he gave me a job. To extract a Jedi who was frozen since order sixty six really. At first I saw this as a simple extraction and I didn’t like her pompous attitude to me. But....She was the first to see me as a person not some ruthless killer that parents tell their kids about to make them behave and I...Began to respect for that. Funny thing is that I began to like her and it was scary.....I always feared that if I get close to someone, I’d end up hurting them and I tried my best to distance myself from her also. I guess its her Jedi charm.” She chuckled.
“Maybe that explains why she’s your girlfriend.” (Padawan) Mira joked.
“Probably but get this: I attracted a dark side group that ended up hunting us down. It wasn’t until she kidnapped I actually cared about something in my life and then the truth was given on why Kyle chose me. I was the daughter of....” She makes a gun gesture at her.
“Ezra and Sabine Wren Bridger.”
“Yep! Found out through a force vision, the reason why he didn’t tell was that he feared in my mental state, I would end up killing my parents. So we went off to save the princess.....With help from a group of Mandolorian Jedi’s called the Mandolorian Knights. A secret clan of force sensitives Mandolorians who follow both the Jedi and Mandolorian ways. You could’ve seen it. It was the most epic thing I have ever seen in my life. So we killed the bad guy and saved her. But Kyle had other business and left us though gave us the location of my parents in Lothal. Thus here I am. Mira Wren Bridger, stormtrooper, agent, bounty hunter.....Jedi.” (Bounty) Hunter Mira smirked as (Padawan) Mira is silent and looks at her in awe.
“Any thoughts?” She asks.
“.....I. Am. Awesome.” (Padawan) Mira gasped.
“Yes you are...You know, Kanan told me not to bring to my ship nor I let anyone near it but...You’re an exception. Wanna see my collection?” (Bounty Hunter) Mira asks. (Padawan) Mira’s eyes shine with her jaws dropped and nods.
It’s pretty strange for having two families. Especially for Ezra and (Meldy) Ezra who have no difference in each other except an artificial arm. There is no difference between them whatsoever really except they’re younger. (Meldy) Hera walks towards the ghost.
“I seriously hope she didn’t bring her to her ship.” Sabine sighed.
“She brought her to her ship.” Kanan said while walking out.
(Padawan) Mira looks in awe. Below the ships deck is a room full of old weaponry and armors encased in a glass case for display. Armor ranging from shoretrooper, deathtrooper, imperial stormtrooper, first order stormtrooper, Mandolorian armor, clone trooper you can name it. It was always (Bounty hunter) Mira’s hobby to collect old wartime relics from the past. On the walls are numerous blasters, heavy blasters, rocket launchers, and even swords too.
“Speechless?” (Bounty Hunter) Mira smirked again.
“Woooow.....” Soon (Padawan) Mira’s family heads down alongside (Bounty Hunter) Mira’s too as (Meldy) Zeb whistles.
“Jeez, your kids packing heat. She ever uses’em?” He asks Sabine.
“Nah, there just collectibles....I think......Yeah, collectibles.” Sabine replied.
“So what do you think about yourself?” (Meldy) Ezra asks causing (Padawan) Mira to turn around.
“She is so cool! Like first she was stormtrooperandthenshefellinlovecauseshewasdifferentand-”
“Okay, okay, you can explain it to us when we get back home. Alright kiddo?” (Meldy) Mira asks.
“Sure thing dad.” The family leaves.
“Wait, I have something for you.” (Bounty Hunter) Mira called as she opens a case nearby. Inside is the armor is Shae Vizsla as her family awes.
“I want you to have it. As a momento.” She offers the case to her counterpart with a smile.
“A present from me to you.” (Padawan) Mira accepts the case before smiling then placing it on the ground then hugs her older self before picking it up.
“May the force be with you Mira.” The family leaves as they head outside as a portal opens with Resistance members circling it as they enter before it vanishes.

Scarlette “Lettie” Sparks
Scarlett “Lettie” Sparks stood at the window of her apartment, observing the light thicken within the sky. Behind her, the table she had inherited from her grandmother dominated this glass corner, yet was filled with reports, case files and on-scene photographs. Her meeting with Esther and Felix Araminta was interesting, yet not very useful, really. They obviously cared about there daughter, Paloma, had disappeared, but knew very little about her life. They kept referring to her as “Lollie,” a childhood nickname.
“Babe?” a voice from behind me mumbles.
As I turn to Fury’s sleepy voice, echoing in the silence, she asks, “you okay?”
She makes her way over to me and snakes her arms around my waist, kisses my exposed shoulder before resting her chin there.
“Yes,” I answer.
“New case?”
“Yes,” I shrug, as its always a case, unsettling her chin resting against me.
“When is Flick back?” she asks, knowing that Flicker Grace, my partner in Willow Junction Private Investigators, is tying up our last case in court.
“Day after tomorrow.”
“Okay. What about Tolliver?”
“Yes. He’s discovered others and has been preparing the files. There are quite a few anomalies with this one.”
“Is there anything you can do right now?”
“Probably not.”
“Come back to bed?”
I kiss her, here, loved in the dawn. She had comeback from her bar, Gribsby’s, not long ago, and the last thing she needed was an uncommunicative and insomniac wife, refusing to sleep. I let her lead me back to bed, and feel her tumble towards exhausted sleep again, and I regret waking her. She curls into me, wraps an arm around me and tightens her grip. She always sleeps like this, hanging on to me as if she can never let me go. She doesn’t sleep well without me, nor I without her. I used to have all of these rules to protect myself, and Feronia “Fury” Gribsby broke every single one of them, as if I was made of eggshells. Its why I married her, she burrowed so deep that I found I could not live without her.
Flick stands next to me, looking over the incomplete timeline Tolliver had constructed in the five days we had had the information.
“You said that only one has been reported?”
“Yes, but I found six. Their files are over there,” Tolliver points at a neatly stacked pile, “and its strange. Six librarians all worked at the Quinevere Medical Library in Crooked Hollow Library, and all have disappeared in the last five years.”
“How have none of us noticed?” I say, “surely even the library would’ve made the connection before now?”
“I’ve no idea. I still have to access the HR files,” Flick said.
I pick up the photo of Paloma Araminta, and add it to her space on the wall with her other details. She dresses conservative and in mid range name brand clothing – above department store brands yet not quite designer. Lived with her partner in Caith Thicket, a village about a half hour from Crooked Hollow. I sit at the table and peruse the summary folder Tolliver prepared. All six have the expected levels of education. All female between the ages of 28 and 32, brunettes with green eyes. This physical similarity was startling when observed next to each other. Was the library intentionally hiring staff because they looked the same? All simply missing and never recovered. Just nothing. Three, Raziya “Zee” Sekai, Atia Wren and Calypso “Cal” Mica, lived in a nearby village, Orchid Hive. Aruelia “Lia” Qerida lived in Hazel Glade, while Cosima “Mia” Winslow lived in Safika Cloister.
All of this villages clustered around the main hub that was Crooked Hollow, by a marginal section the largest village in the county. A private psychiatric facility, the Saana Institute, had taken over from the state run facility years back and was exceptionally well funded, which in turn funded the Quinevere Medical Library at Crooked Hollow Library. Was this the connection, the Institute?
“Coffee,” Tolliver settles the mug in front of me.
“Thanks.”
“There is another new customer appointment at three. Who wants to take it?” Tolliver eyed the both of us suspiciously as we looked at the wall of information.
I shrug, “Who ever.”
Flick says, “Either way, this is gonna be a big drain on our time.”
“Yup. So the paperwork says the girlfriend reported her missing to PD but her parents reported her to us?” I look at Tolliver, at this point the most knowledgeable.
“Yes. Clementine Adria reported her to police the night she didn’t arrive at home as expected. Well. She drove the route between Quinevere and their home, called her supervisor, attempted to track her phone. Then reported it to police. They have performed a cursory investigation, however there is nothing usual. Nothing suspicious at all. Except, you know, she gone. After six days, Paloma’s parents hired us.”
“But why did Clementine not hire us?” I repeat. There has been no news story or police statements, and all of the reports Tolliver had collected stated much the same. Nothing suspicious, in behaviour, activity or circumstances surrounding any of the six’s disappearances.
Flick picks up the three files from Orchid Hive, Raziya Sekai, Atia Wren and Calypso Mica. The fourth, second and first to have disappeared, respectively, “The timing is remarkably consistent. All disappeared within the same week of the same month, exactly one year apart. The similarity in all of this is startling, it keeps adding up to being obvious. I’ll go out to Orchid Hive.”
I agree with her, and take Paloma’s file, “I’ll start with Paloma, while its fresh. Maybe Loco Lucy remembers something.”
We always speak to the ones no one pays attention too – the elderly and the young, the homeless and the crazy. Once you decipher through the debris of what they talk about, they often notice what you need to hear, see the unknowable. Why would we trust the working ignorant, who are far too busy with life and its stress to notice anything at all. They are risky with all the information they retain out of social equivalency, to maintain a life they’ve created. The ones we speak to have nothing to gain, nothing left to loose.
I read through Paloma’s file and leave for the library. Its been only six days and I hope that some of the strange are still around to remember something from last Thursday night. The library closed at ten p.m the night she disappeared. The library was this lumbering historical old building at the edge of the town square, and Blind Scar Alley shuddered adjacent to this, off the main street, Delphi Lark. Officially, the town square was called Ikigai Blossom, but is only ever referred to as the Square, and was shuttered on all sides by two and three story buildings, with this library dominating the whole edge of one side.
The square has geometric garden designs with counterpoint patterns pointing directional paths from my office across the square towards Blind Scar Alley. Its shady and cool even in this heat. The corner of the library overwhelms the edge of the block it resides on, and as I look down the alley, I see the shadows moving of the people I want to speak to, shuffling with blankets held over their shoulders, carrying bags full of goods.
I interviewed Clementine. She was tall and beautiful, her hair pulled back into a scrappy, loose bun. She was an intern at Saana Institute, which is why they lived in Caith Thicket, half way between Crooked Hollow and Hazel Glade.

I had my first New Year’s Eve out tonight.
I was with Friendboy and a couple of his coworkers, whom I’d met previously and adore, Wren* and Joe*, and Wren’s boyfriend, J.(*names changed, just... because.)
We started the night off at my house, not intending to go out at all. Friendboy didn’t want to. He’d said that they told him to tell me about it, but he didn’t really wanna go. In true Friendboy fashion, he answered the phone when Wren called, and changed his mind. So off we went to Joe’s apartment. They were fun and funny and warm. There were drinks had (not by me), and music, and a minor dress mishap for Wren, which was quickly rectified, and then a bunch of just shooting the shit. And then to the final destination: the bar.
I’ve only been to a bar twice in my life. This same bar. Bass-thumping in your ribcage, smoke soaking into your clothes and hair and skin. It’s mostly mild, for a bar. Tonight, people actually danced, which was a welcome relief for me, because why be there if not to dance? Even though Friendboy isn’t much for it, and Wren’s boyfriend was in much the same boat.
Midnight ticks ever closer, and I realize I haven’t thought about him all night, which is a nice respite from how much space he’s been occupying in my mind lately. It’s nice to be having so much fun that I forget myself. Jell-O shots make their rounds and I’m resolute: who wants one? No, thank you. They get me one anyway, and I appreciate the gesture, but I don’t want it. It’s been offered to me all night, alcohol. If I wanted it, I’d have it. I push it to Wren. She shoots hers down and I think it’ll pass without further inspection, but then she leans across Friendboy and insists, “Come on, you’ve gotta have at least one! It doesn’t even taste like alcohol!”
I feel my brows draw in. “Then what’s the point, if not to get drunk?”
Because if you’re drinking something that doesn’t taste like alcohol, all you’re after is the effects of it, and no, one shot isn’t gonna make me drunk, but what’s the point? That’s the thing. I don’t get the point of it. It either tastes good (it doesn’t), or it’s to get buzzed, which I don’t need or want to have fun. I’m perfectly capable without. I said as much to Friendboy later in the car: I’ve tried lots of alcohol things, and haven’t liked any of them. Alcoholism runs heavy in my blood, why should I keep trying to find something I like, when I’m better off finding it repugnant? “Well, it does have alcohol in it!” She tries, and she’s drunk, so I think she misses what I was trying to say. I shake my head. “I don’t want it,” I say. And she backs down. “Yeah, you’re probably right.”
Friendboy gets one, and he’s already split a pitcher margarita with J, had a beer, and immediately jumped at the chance for bottomless champagne, and I can’t hide my annoyance, because he said he wouldn’t, and it’s not even that he’s drinking, it’s that I hate when people say one thing and do another. I suppose it’s a pet peeve. Besides, he’s driving, and I can’t stand that, either. “Are you mad?” “No.” He stares at me. “Yes, but I’ll get over it.” And I will. “Is it because of me or because of...?” He gestures to her, indicating her pushing me to drink. “It’s...” I don’t want to articulate this here, now, in this loud, smoky place where I have to yell to be heard. “Just forget it.” Thankfully, he drops it.
J leans across the table to me—this stranger I’ve known no more than a handful of hours—and waves me in. In my ear, he says, “don’t change that about yourself, the not drinking. It’s a good thing.” I pull away, unexpectedly touched at the strange show of solidarity and kindness. “Thank you.” I say meaningfully.
“What did he say?” Friendboy asks.
“Nothing,” I shake my head.
Midnight struck and it was... anti-climactic. We kissed. We hugged. The horn blowers chorused around us, intermingled with a modern pop twist on Auld Lang Syne through the speakers.
Friendboy and I decided to leave, because, well, that was the main event, and now they’re doing a drag queen show, and I’m not terribly interested, and if we leave now, maybe we’ll beat the traffic.
“I hope you’re not mad at me,” he says in the parking lot.
I tell him I’m not. And I’m really not. I’m frustrated. Because he says he doesn’t want to drink, and he says he won’t, and then he does, and I feel somehow like I’m supposed to be the responsible one who says no for him when people push—and the repetition of dusty, cobwebbed patterns, old but still present, is not lost on me, but I’m not his mother, just as I wasn’t theirs. It’s not my responsibility to make someone adhere to the path they say is better and want to follow. Saying no for myself is an exercise in agency; saying no for him, this boy who is not even my boyfriend, makes me look like a shrew. But he won’t stop asking me: if it’s okay, if I want any, if I even want to be there, like he wants me to be the one to say no so he doesn’t have to. Or maybe he’s just genuinely so wishy-washy, I can’t tell the difference.
I don’t think he gets it, where I’m coming from. He is passive, and that both relieves and bothers me. For someone who is so detail-oriented and abnormally perceptive for a man, and such an absolute people pleaser, he misses the things that matter most, which only makes me wonder if he chooses to turn a blind eye when it suits him. How he ever thought, and hopefully doesn’t still think, that we should be more than we are in label because of outside pressures (i.e. boyfriend and girlfriend because the people in his church and his friends from work think we should be) and thinks that he has feelings for me beyond, “hey, a woman who I consider at least mildly attractive and spend a lot of time with and who is touchy and nice”, is absolutely beyond me. We hardly know each other, and the more time we spend together, the more I realize that. Why be in an official relationship that’s on such shaky ground before it even starts? We would never fit, and not just for the reasons I initially believed.
Halfway home, I realize I’ve left all of my hot hair tools at Joe’s apartment, since Wren had asked if I could bring them for her to borrow. Showering is non-negotiable with this smoke smell, and my hair takes forever to dry, meaning I kind of need it back tonight. So Friendboy calls him, asking when they might be leaving. Turns out they were thinking about leaving soon to get something to eat. We swing back around, and Wren and J are at Joe’s car, Joe nowhere in sight. They all three, for some reason, go back in the bar to find him, where apparently in the short time since we’d exited, a bar fight had broken out.
Meanwhile, I’m outside and I hear and then see someone back out and into another car, get out and look, and then decide to drive away. I thought maybe there hadn’t been any damage, but when we drove by, their fender was way dented. Ouch. A small group comes out, angry and hollering. I’m anxious now, because what is taking them so long?
J and Wren come out first, after a swarm of more angry people, and as they start to cross in front of Friendboy’s car, I move to get out to ask where he is, and then I see him. J sees me, though, and I must look stricken somehow, because he calls across to me, “Are you okay, Alyssa?” I nod absently. “Yeah, I’m fine!”
We get in the car and tuck tail away from the madness. We each pit stop at different fast food places, and convene back at Joe’s, where they all try to shake off the drunkenness so they don’t have hangovers.
We laugh and joke and eventually they sing karaoke. I knew Joe sang, and it turns out J was in the local university choir, and his voice sounds like warm honey—deep and resonant. “Your voice reminds me of someone,” I muse, staring at him. “But I don’t know who.” My mind shuffles. “The guy who sings the train song! You know that song like...”
“Long Black Train, Josh Turner?” Joe supplies.
“Yeah, that one!” I nod, satisfied. He keeps singing and I find myself staring, transfixed.
“Alyssa looks like she’s in love!” Friendboy remarks on a laugh, and I feel flustered and guilty, because it’s possible that bothers him.
“He just has a really pretty voice!” I defend.
We’re all winding down—Friendboy is in the bathroom, Wren is asleep on the floor, Joe is scrolling on his phone, and J is sitting in the recliner, talking about how he had fun tonight, and he makes an offhanded comment about me, and I don’t even remember what preceded it, but he said: “And Alyssa was out there dancing and having fun and she was sober,” and I laughed and replied, “That’s why I don’t need to drink, because...” “You know how to have fun without it.” And I’m glad to have that acknowledged, for some reason. It makes me feel seen. He is singing a soft love song then, followed up by The Christmas Song, revised for our current state of being in the apartment, and it’s funny and crude and fitting.
Friendboy comes out and it’s 2 AM, so we grab our things and go to head home, for real, this time.
I’d told him he could stay the night. He was going to. I’d cleaned my room and changed my sheets—not that it didn’t need to be done, anyway, but still. But we pull onto my street, and—naturally, shouldn’t I have guessed?—he says, “I appreciate the invite but I think I’m just gonna head home.” And when we pull in my driveway, he kisses me on the cheek. I can’t help but feel like I’ve done something wrong. I feel that way a lot with him, for some reason. It’s not easy, like it was supposed to be. Uncomplicated, like I thought. And still, I kick off the year in a strange sort of limbo.

spring break out || part 1
𝐖𝐇𝐄𝐍: washington // junior year.
𝐅𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: juliette x stevie (ft. montag).
𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐆𝐆𝐄𝐑𝐒: true and unadulterated hapiness.
𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐒: a cross country road trip for love.
Montag got out of his car and tossed the keys to Stevie who had gotten out of the van, "You wait here outside the gate, she'll be out here before you know it" he said passively. He was not showing it, but he was really excited to see his sister. Enough that he had come on this spring break trip with her friends just to get her out of school. "And you" he said to Wren through the window of the van, "are picking me up so we can get to the house and get stuff set up for one hell of a rager" he said as he pat the car. Wren nodded.
Montag headed into the school and showed his ID so he could go up to Juliette's room. He knocked on the door before walking in, "Hey dumbass" said Montag with a smirk that turned into a full smile. "Monty!!!!" Juliette said, shocked by his presence in her dorm room. She jumped off her bed and hugged him. "What are you doing here?! You didn't tell me!!" she said, squeezing him so tightly. "I wanted to surprise you, but I am breaking you out of here for a few days. We can go out to dinner and get you out of this stuffy place. Just you and me" he lied, "pack your things." He was going to think of a better lie, but he needed an excuse for her to dress well. Not that she wouldn't, but she had no idea what was to come. "Actually, go ahead and dress for dinner. I want to go sightseeing in Seattle first, and I know you'll be uncomfortable in the restaurant if you're not wearing one of your outfits" he said in the most blase way possible. Somewhere, in his deepest heart of hearts ... he was rooting for love today. And that team was going to win.
Juliette quickly packed her things, some of her best outfits and her toiletries. "I'm staying staying with you?" she clarified. "Yes, pack for three days" he replied as he sat down at her desk and put together her laptop and things. He turned around so she could get changed, and she got herself all ready. "Let me just put on a little makeup and I'll be ready, will you get my suitcase shut?" she asked with a soft smile. Juliette finished getting ready, and she looked great. She hadn't really gotten to see the city at all yet, and was more than excited to get out of the country side and to go in. Little did she know, she was hardly going to be going anywhere. Once he got her out of the dorm and she had said goodbye to Florence, Montag and Juliette walked out into the sun. Her bags in his hands, he smiled at her. "I parked off the property, sorry for the walk" he said. She was suspicious of the smile, "What are you smiling about? Did you bring Kiki with you?" she teased. "I brought something" he said as they stepped past the gate. That's when the other girl came into view, leaning on the car. Juliette dropped her backpack right then and there and started running.
Stevie kept wiping her hands on her pants, they were all clammy from the nerves. Good nerves, of course. This was the first time she was seeing Juliette in months, nothing was going ruin this moment for them. "Sounds good." she answered Montag with a single nod. "And thanks, seriously." she said with a genuine smile. She had no idea how she would repay everyone for what they were doing, but she'd find a way eventually. Times like these made her realize how incredible the people around her were. As she waited, Stevie leaned against the car and played with her little J necklace. Her heart was racing. It's like she was meeting perchancetodream in person all over again. Once Juliette was in sight, Stevie's smile couldn't get any wider. She opened her arms for Juliette as she ran up to her, wrapping her arms around the girl and swinging her around before giving her a deep kiss. Their first public kiss (minus twisted tuesdays, but that was different). To some people it wouldn't mean a lot, but to Stevie it did. She wanted the whole world to know that she was Juliette's girlfriend. "I've missed you so much, Hastings."
Montag smiled, "Go get her" he said before she started to run. Montag picked up the bags and got in the van and the lot headed off to the airbnb, Rose and Marina looking out the window to see the two embrace. Their collective awwwww filled the car fully. Before Juliette knew it, her feet were off the ground as she was spun around by her favorite person in the entire world. Their lips locked, and Juliette felt completely free. There was no harm to be done by them being seen, it was just for them without all the weight and baggage. "I've missed you!!" said Juliette enthusiastically as she put her hands on either side of Stevie's face. "I can't believe it, you're actually here!! I can't believe you all surprised me like this!!" she said as she gave Stevie a little kiss on the nose, completely on her tippy toes to get there. "I am the luckiest girl in the entire world, Stevie Summers" she said, the name flowing off her lips sweeter than honey. She couldn't even believe it, it all felt like a dream. Taking her hands off Stevie's face wasn't even something she could conceptualize, she was worried that the other girl would disappear.
The months they weren't together should have been easier. They had talked to each other on the internet for two years, but once Stevie had Juliette in person, how could she go back? It was harder than she expected, but they made it work, which wasn't a surprise to Stevie. She would do anything for Juliette, no hesitation. Plus, the wait just made this moment even sweeter. "Well I had to make our reunion a big deal. Besides, I couldn't wait any longer to see you. Speaking of seeing you, are you fucking kidding me? Talk about making an impression. This might be my favorite dress yet." Juliette was always sending her outfit pics, but to see her in person with this outfit. It hit different. Hearing her name come out of Juliette's mouth was something she'd never get over. "We got a whole thing planned out for the weekend, it's gonna be great." she nodded over to everyone in the cars. "But right now, you and I get some alone time. We got a lot of catching up to do."
Juliette blushed, and she was just ... beaming. She couldn't help but smile, and she did love a compliment. She did a little twirl for the girl and posed for a second before getting right back up into her personal space. She didn't want there to be more than an inch between them at all times. "I can't believe I thought I was wasting this outfit on Monty and a nice dinner" she said with a laugh. Juliette wiggled her eyebrows, "catching up? Is that what the kids are calling it these days?" she said as she waved to the cars. They all took that as a sign to hit the road, and they started driving away. "Did you bring a whole platoon with you? Is everybody here?" Juliette asked, her smile still shining bright. All the people she loved had come to see her, enough to fill more than one car. It was so amazing, Stevie was so amazing. "I am just so happy that you are here, don't tell the others ... but you're my favorite human of all time." Juliette moved in to hug her, putting her head on the other girl's chest, squeezing tightly to make sure it wasn't all a dream.
"If you were going wear this just to hang out with Thaddeus, I can't imagine what else you got up your sleeve." Stevie told the girl with a smile on her face. Juliette never missed a beat when it came to the clothes she wore. "Woah, Hastings. I just wanted to catch up over some lunch. What did you have in mind?" she teased her girlfriend. Stevie of course had some things up her sleeve later on in the night for Juliette, but for now, she wanted to talk. "Yep the band's all here. Plus Chase, Jonah, their girlfriends, and your brother's girlfriend and boyfriend... question mark? You know what I mean." she said with a chuckle. "We're also gonna give you a pretty sick performance, just for you." Stevie couldn't wait to perform for Juliette. Whenever they did gigs back home, Stevie would only see Juliette in the crowd. She was playing just for her. But this time it was special. She had a new song and of course wanted to perform Perchance to Dream. That was only for special occasions. Stevie took Juliette's hand and walked her over to the car, opening up the passenger door for her. "Don't tell them either, but I'm mostly here for you. They're fun and all, but you are my favorite."
"I have a few going out to eat outfits, but I am not prepared to see you at all! I thought I was going to be lounging around and eating all weekend!" said Juliette, thinking over what she had in her suitcase. She had packed for a little bit of everything, just because Montag really went with the flow of whatever mood he was in. She had a swim suit in there, and a heavier jacket, pretty much everything under the sun. "Summers!" she whined when Stevie teased her about how they were going to spend time together and Juliette shoved her girlfriend lightly. When Stevie mentioned Montag's situation she laughed, "just don't think about it too hard. I don't think they know what it is, only that they would have separation anxiety if he were to come without them." Juliette looked at Stevie when she was talking about how the band was going to perform, and Juliette let out a squeal. It was everything she had ever wanted. She spent so much time showing Florence videos of the Striking Vipers preforming, and to get to see it in person again? Oh it was just the best thing in the entire world. Stevie opened up the car door for her and Juliette gave her a quick kiss on the cheek, "are you sure you don't want me to drive?" she joked.
"You have the cutest outfits. Even your pajamas are cute." Stevie reassured Juliette even though she knew how her girlfriend was about the clothes she wore. "But we can always go shopping around the city. You could pick an outfit out for both of us, my treat." Stevie was pretty curious on what kind of outfit Juliette would pick out for her. Even though they both dressed very differently, she trusted her girlfriend's sense of style. "Damn boarding school really has changed you, huh?" she continued to tease Juliette. "But I'll see if I can squeeze in some more private time with you later on. Don't wanna leave you unsatisfied." Stevie would be lying if she said she wasn't excited to have her girlfriend all alone. She nodded as Juliette explained Montag's situation with Camilla and Kiran. She was pretty much used to it at this point. "You driving?" she asked after smiling from the kiss she received. "I love you so much, but I want to keep living." she joked before kissing her girlfriend's forehead and heading to the other side of the car. "So how's everything been here? How's Florence doing? No pretty girls I should be seeing as competition?" she asked with a grin as she began to drive them out into the city. Stevie and Juliette constantly talked over discord, so she knew a bit about what was going on here.
"Your treat? That's not how this works at all. In lieu of psychological damages on you and me, this treat will be falling purely on my parents" said Juliette looking up at her girlfriend, "and while we are at it, lunch too." Juliette was not going to take no for an answer on that front, she was sure of it. Jules scrunched her nose when Stevie continued to tease her about one on one time, "you tease me, but I'm going to be a very happy camper waking up next to you for the next few days." God, that really was the dream. They had had a few sleepovers, but they hadn't been able to be that close all the time. This was going to be the most amazing weekend ever, she could feel it. "That's a compelling argument" said Juliette as she got kissed on the forehead, "I would also like you to keep living." She got in and buckled her seat belt, "Flo is good, she's been great honestly" Juliette said with a kind smile, "and I have been blind the whole time I have been away from you. Only ugly people on this campus, except for Florence, but she knows I'm a taken woman." She had only physically talked to Florence anyways, and a few teachers, and one janitor who always started conversations. She kept her social interactions ... very very limited.
The moment Juliette mentioned her parents, Stevie raised a brow and pointed at the girl. "Ahh, I see you. How generous of them. So sweet." she joked, it was time Juliette's parents treated them for once. It wasn't going to make up for everything they did, but spending their money was good enough for her. It was well deserved. "I do miss our sleepovers." Stevie mentioned with a smile. It was only for a weekend, but she'd allow herself to pretend they were in their own little world, living with her girlfriend. Waking up to her by her side, cooking each other breakfast. It was perfect. Stevie smiled as Juliette mentioned that Florence was doing good. She was glad Juliette had found someone she connected with so much. Hopefully having Florence there made everything a little more easier for her. "Same here, completely blind. Girls? Haven't seen them in a while. I only know of Juliette Hastings." she chuckled under her breath, hoping Juliette didn't think she was flirting around while she was away. Her brain was constantly on Juliette mode. Once they got to a shopping center, Stevie parked the car and got out to open Juliette's door. "You might know this place better than I do. Lead the way, babe." Stevie held out her hand for Juliette to grab with a huge smile on her face.
Juliette smiled, but it was soft and a tinge melancholy. "Our sleepovers are the best" she replied, biting her lip a little out of nervousness. This weekend had a lot riding on it, it was going to have to tide them over again for a while. She just missed seeing Stevie in the hallways, drinking milkshakes at the diner and her dealing with the fact that Juliette ate her fries with a fork and knife, watching the band perform. She missed all of it. But she missed her the most, just being in a room with her. Juliette felt comforted that Stevie was truly and fully still off the market. Everything about Stevie was desirable, and she was a little worried about people knowing that they had been dating in secret. She had heard from Gabrielle that basically the whole school knew, so hopefully that marked the territory enough. She had complete trust in Stevie, especially knowing about how she had been cheated on before. Also, they were in the kind of love that was so all consuming that it hardly ever even dawned on Juliette. She was mostly jealous that other people got to look at the girl in the flesh on a daily basis. She was jealous of Wren for taking pictures with her, she was jealous of Gabrielle for getting to spend time with her, she was jealous of anyone who got to breath the air that she breathed. But she wasn't jealous of anyone trying to get close to Stevie the way Juliette was. No human beings had ever stood so close to another's soul as they had. "That's good to hear, but we both know the only person I'm jealous of is me" she teased, referencing back to how ridiculous Juliette had been. But don't worry, next time they talk about that she will have the ego of Chanel Hampton about it. Once they arrived, Stevie opened the door for her and put out her hand, god this woman was amazing. "I have seen stuff on tik tok about this area, but I haven't been here" she said as she held the other girl's hand and hugged on her arm. "I think thrifting is definitely for us" she said as they started to walk down the street. It felt so good to be holding onto her, like she couldn't float away. "So I'm picking out things for you, and you're picking out things for me? And don't make me look ridiculous, Summers. That's a warning. I know your thought process. If she hates it she'll want to take it off, but I want to look good for you" she said pouting a little to show that she was just being funny.
Stevie let out a drawn out sigh once Juliette mentioned being jealous of herself, followed by a small smile. It felt so long ago that all of that happened, but Stevie remembered it so vividly. Being around Juliette felt like being home, and she couldn't understand why. From their first in-person conversation, the day Juliette interviewed her, Stevie could tell the other girl was meant to be in her life. Of course at that time, she only thought their relationship would be platonic, but as time went on, she got more and more confused. Sometimes Stevie would feel so stupid for not figuring it all out sooner. Sometimes she questioned whether Juliette was perchancetodream, but then she'd shut it down pretty quickly. But the instant connection they had in person just solidified what Stevie had thought throughout the two years she talked to the nameless person on the internet. No matter how they met, no matter who she was, Stevie and her were always meant to cross paths. They were simply meant for each other. Nothing would change that. The moment Juliette hugged her arm, Stevie bent down a bit to kiss her girlfriend's cheek. She'd keep this moment with her forever. The two girls being able to show how unapologetically in love they were. Being silently in love with Juliette Hastings was perfectly fine. As long as she had Juliette, she was okay. But some people didn't understand the pure joy that came from a public display of affection when you had to hide your relationship. Juliette didn't deserve to be hidden. "I was thinking the same thing." Stevie nodded in agreement to the suggestion of thrifting. She was a little nervous to pick something out for Juliette. Sure, she knew her girlfriend's style, but she also knew her standards were high when it came to clothes. It's not like there was any pressure being put on Stevie, but she needed to make sure the outfit would hit the mark. "Look, I'll try my best not to make you look like a fool but I can't make any promises." she teased Juliette. "Besides, I don't see anything wrong with you taking some clothes off, as long as I'm in the dressing room with you. Or is dressing room hook ups just a little too scandalous for you, miss mayor's daughter?" she said softly in her girlfriend's ear.
When Stevie leaned down to kiss her on the cheek, Juliette looked up to her and smiled. Her eyes creasing a little in the corners as it happened, she was just radiating joy to be here with here. To be anywhere with her. "I know you'll pick something great" Juliette had absolute faith in Stevie. There had been a lot of focus on her outfits throughout their time together, Juliette always kicking things up a notch around her just to see that Stevie smile when she looked her best. That Stevie smile gassed her up like nothing else, and god the compliments were worth getting out of bed for, on their own. There was nothing more affirming than Stevie complimenting her. When Stevie suggested a dressing room hook up Juliette shoved her a little to be playful, "Stevieeee" she said, feigning shock. "I am not going to spend my first day with you in months getting a citation for public indecency" Juliette had to laugh at the whole thing. "If you wanted to get your hands on me, then you shouldn't have taken me out in public" the girl taunted, knowing that they had many many more hours to spend together. Sure, some of it would be around other people ... but they would find time. Plenty of time. "Plus, I want to see your face at the outfit reveal, and if you get to watch then there's no element of surprise" she was going to insist on having to see her face when she came out of the dressing room. She knew she would lock those memories up tight forever. The two girls headed into the thrift store that Juliette had heard a lot about and Juliette squeezed her hand before letting go, "I am gonna go to the men's section for a moment and see what it has to offer for you. So go and be free, wander around. See if there's anything that screams Hastings" she said with a wink.
Stevie let out a small laugh once Juliette nudged her. Though she would never turn down something like that, she wasn't completely serious about it either. She just wanted to get Juliette's reaction and it was exactly what she was expecting. Sweet, innocent Juliette Hastings. The hold she had on Stevie. "The first night we had ever spent together ended with you on beer bong table. If anything, this is way more private than that night." she continued to tease her as she brought up homecoming night. That night would always stick with her, especially the after party. "I just wanted everyone to see how gorgeous my girlfriend is. If anything, it's your fault for being so damn beautiful." she said before giving her a quick kiss on the lips. "But I do love a good reveal, so I promise to be on my best behavior." Stevie took a quick look around the thrift store before looking down at Juliette. She was excited to see what her girlfriend was going to pick out for her. She knew the girl wouldn't disappoint. "I'll do my best. I know you will." she saluted her before heading straight the the skirts. Juliette loved her skirts, everyone knew that, but then she noticed a nice, form fitting plaid dress and it just screamed Juliette. After a few minutes, she found a white turtleneck that seemed to go nice with the dress. As she walked back to Juliette, Stevie noticed an outfit that was more for herself, but why not throw it in and see if she could get her girlfriend to try it on. Sure it was jeans and a loose, button up shirt, but it was cute to Stevie. "Alright. I got a few options. You gotta try them all on though, even if you may or may not like them. Just trust me." she said as she flashed her teeth at the girl.
Juliette smiled at the mention of the beer pong table, that kiss lived in her mind completely rent free. She thought about it way more than even she was willing to admit. Then Stevie was calling her beautiful, this day could end now and she would be happy with what she had gotten out of it. Obviously, she wanted so much more. But it was the little things that just made today so fulfilling already. Juliette sauntered off to the men's section, but was dismayed at the lack of good floral shirts, so she made her way back to the girl's side of things and she saw a fun skirt. This could be fun, seeing her in a skirt even for a few minutes. She picked out a fun t-shirt to go with it, keeping things casual for Stevie's sake. Then she went over and found a cute top, something a little less out of Stevie's comfort zone but she knew it would be so flattering on her figure. Juliette picked up the things and held them in her arms, getting distracted by all the options. She went with her gut though, and found Stevie walking around the store. "I also have a few options for you" she replied, knowing that there'd be a funny option and a serious option. She hoped the girl would like the shirt though, "same to you, just trust the process" she said, beaming at her. The girls traded clothes, "I will see you in a minute." Juliette headed into the changing room and put on the jeans and top option, smiling at how they were trading places for a minute, "you're putting on the skirt one first, right?" Juliette called out between the two rooms, "ready?" she asked once she was fully changed.
Stevie was excited to see what Juliette had picked out for her, but after they gave each other the clothes they picked, she immediately noticed the skirt. She instantly smiled to herself and knew she had to try this on first. A treat from her girlfriend, but a treat for her girlfriend as well. It was nice to know that they came up with the same idea to bring one serious outfit and one ... not so serious. Stevie was down to experiment though, and she had to admit, the skirt Juliette picked out was cute. "Oh of course, and you're putting on the jeans right?" she asked as she put the outfit on. Once everything was on, she took one more look in the mirror and nodded to herself in approval. "Okay, ready." Stevie pulled away the dressing room curtains and walked out to see Juliette in the outfit, her smile couldn't get any wider. "Even in jeans you're still fucking gorgeous. Goddamn." she teased the girl and checked her out a bit. "I would say that outfit is a win." she stated with a proud smile. Stevie of course would approve of the outfit, it was pretty much something she'd wear herself. "Now how do I look? Not to toot my own horn, but I think my legs look kinda nice." Stevie did a small spin and chuckled under her breath, "Was that your plan all along, Hastings?"
Juliette laughed at her reflection before she stepped out of the dressing room, "I look so incredibly gay right now" she replied when Stevie said the outfit was a win, "not a bad thing, just very ... wow" said the girl. But she couldn't help but stare at Stevie's long legs, "my long legged ladyyy" said Juliette with a huge smile on her face as she checked out Stevie for a minute as she spun around, "spin again, I heard you wouldn't" said the girl, teasing her a little, "people have been talking, they said so." Juliette just wanted to see her spin again, she was so pretty. Beautiful, enchanting, her girlfriend. All words that could describe Stevie Summers. Juliette smiled as she headed back into the changing room and put on the next outfit, "hey can you come and zip me up?" she called out as she got the other outfit on. The zipper was a little finicky, and she would enjoy Stevie coming into her changing room with a good excuse for a second.
"Fuck yeah you do, babe." Stevie said with a relaxed smile on her face, trying to take in the sight before it was over. She loved Juliette in her skirts and dresses, but who knew when she'd ever see a tiny Stevie again? When Juliette said to spin again, she raised a brow and laughed, "People, huh? Guess I can't disappoint the fans." She did one more little spin for the girl before they both went back into their dressing rooms. Stevie was already finishing up when Juliette called out for her, a smirk forming on her face after hearing that the girl needed help zipping up her dress. "Of course." she spoke sweetly before leaving her dressing room and going into her girlfriend's, "Is this your way of telling me you had a change of heart?" she whisper in the girl's ear, referring to when Stevie joked about a dressing room hook up. She looked over at Juliette's reflection while she helped zip up the dress and smiled to herself. Her girlfriend was stunning. "You like it? I think you look incredible, and I think it fits your style."
Juliette giggled a little when she asked Stevie to spin again and she did it, "I really do have you whipped don't I?" she added, her smile still plastered on her face. When she was trying to get her dress zipped up and she asked Stevie to come in, her heart started to flutter a little. It was in full palpitation as her girlfriend whispered in her ear, looking at the two of them in the mirror together. Stevie always towered over her, but she felt closer to the girl than ever. "You know me so well" said the girl, taking Stevie's hands and wrapping them around her from behind. "You know me better than anyone" Juliette could feel herself about to cry from happiness. But she held it in, turning around in the girl's arms and giving her a soft kiss. "Also you look so amazing, and also also I am buying all four of these outfits. Whose to say I won't steal your style?" she teased with a smile. She pulled out the amex she was given and waved it around, "they can eat their hearts out, me and my girlfriend are going to be the best dressed of all time." Juliette was so happy to be here with Stevie, "will you unzip me before you head out?" she asked as she turned back around to look at their reflection again. She loved seeing them side by side, it just felt so good to be in the same space.
As Juliette took Stevie’s arms to wrap around her body, Stevie stepped a bit closer until her body was pressed up against the girl’s and nuzzled her face into the crook of her girlfriend's neck, placing a soft kiss on her skin. She missed having Juliette around here. There was a special kind of comfort whenever she was around her. Her gentle presence soothed Stevie. She was so used to a loud, almost hectic environment because of her parents, and though she loved them, she also appreciated taking a step back from it all to relax. Juliette was that breath of fresh air. Stevie smiled at her girlfriend in the mirror when she said she knew her so well. All Stevie wanted was to learn as much as possible about Juliette, ever since their time on the internet. She smiled against the girl's lips as they kissed, "And ditch the skirts? You would never." she teased. "But I was a fan, maybe I'll start wearing more skirts. Who knows. Maybe you'll start getting skirt pictures from me." Stevie laughed as the girl waved the card in the air, "Juliette Hastings, I didn't know you were such a rebel. What have those boarding school girls done to you?" She then nodded as a response and started to unzip the dress, leaving a small trail of kisses down her spine. Stevie was just a little too tall to make it so far down Juliette's body without bending over too much. "Alright, I'll see you in a sec." she winked at the girl as she exited the room and went into her own to get dressed into her clothes.
"I would die at a skirt picture, but I also love your style. You know that" said the girl, wanting to be affirming of her usual Stevie. Those outfits that made her heart race when she saw her. Things that were so obviously Stevie. The girl she loved so very much. Juliette laughed, "I'm a rebel with a cause." She just wanted to make sure they had the most fun physically possible this weekend, and she was more than happy to make sure her parents bankrolled their good time. The kisses down her spine made her shiver at the touch, she just felt so deeply seen by Stevie. That she was loved for all of her: mind, body, and soul. She blushed at the wink and quickly got changed back into her other outfit, ready to see Stevie again already. She folded up the clothes she was going to buy and headed out of the dressing room. They finished up and Juliette bought the clothes and a pair of fun sunglasses before they headed out with the bags, "Where to next?" she asked as she reached out and held the girl's hand again. "I will go absolutely anywhere with you." Juliette ran her thumb over the girl's hand as their fingers were intertwined. She really would go anywhere with her, spending time with her was the greatest gift of all time.
"Maybe if you're lucky enough, I'll slide you a picture after spring break. Who knows?" Stevie chuckled, though it was nice to hear that someone with such great style like Juliette liked Stevie's. "Can't believe I'm witnessing another segment of mayor's daughter goes wild. Not gonna lie, it's kinda hot." she teased her girlfriend. Anything Juliette did was attractive to Stevie, let's be real. Once they were out of the thrift store, she took her bag with one hand and held the girl's hand with the other. "I looked some places up and saw there was some nice art we could check out. But not before we get some food of course." If Stevie was already getting a little hungry, she couldn't imagine how Juliette was feeling. She was always snacking. "You in the mood for anything specific? Or we can always wing it. Go to the first spot we see."
Juliette's stomach had been growling for a little while now, but she had been so distracted by Stevie's presence that she honestly was not thinking about food. Her eyes sparkled at the mention of food, "I am always hungry" she said with a little laugh as she pulled up their held hands and gave Stevie's hand a small kiss, "whatever you'd like, or whatever we find is good by me. I will eat anything and everything." The two girls continued down the street a little before they passed a cute little american dining establishment, "here seems perfect" said the girl as she pulled the other girl in. "Our first public date" Juliette said quietly with a little squeal. It felt so good to be parading around town with her girlfriend. "Table for two please, by the window" she said to the hostess. She wanted to people watch, and she wanted people to watch her and Stevie. The two girls sat across from each other and Juliette quickly scanned the menu, "let's start with fried pickles for sure." Juliette looked across the table at Stevie, she was so beautiful. "Have I told you today just how pretty you are? Because you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen" she said as she reached across the table to hold her hand.
Stevie's smile couldn't possibly get any wider once Juliette brought up that this was their first public date. "It's really come full circle now." She was referring to the fact that their first time hanging out in person was at the diner back home. Where Juliette ate her fries with a fork and knife. It's was adorable. Once they were seated, Stevie opened up a menu for herself and nodded in agreement with her girlfriend, "Hell yeah." Juliette's compliments never got old, it was like she was hearing them for the first time. She squeezed the girl's hand gently and smiled, "Oh stop, you're gonna make me blush in front of all these people. How embarrassing." she said jokingly. "Besides, the real beauty is sitting right in front of me. I know I told you that you'd get even more beautiful before you came out here but you didn't have show off like this." she teased. "You're pretty much the whole package. Minus the driving skills, but that's where I come in. We make a pretty great duo, huh?"
Juliette herself blushed at Stevie saying she was going to blush, it was contagious. "My bet that you were going to be more gorgeous? No, I think I definitely won" said Juliette as she poured them both water. "I totally have driving skills, no one said they had to be good" she teased kindly. It felt so amazing to be seated across from her, it felt like it was never going to get old. Then she remembered that this was only for the weekend, and her heart hurt a little. But she decided to live in the moment, and the moment was good. "So what are our plans for tonight?" Juliette inquired. She knew Stevie couldn't help but whip up something good, and if not her ... then Wren, Kyle, and Rose most definitely did something for the two of them. They were good friends like that.
Stevie could feel the butterflies in her stomach when Juliette said she was more gorgeous now. Eventually the honeymoon phase fades away, but she felt like it never did when she was with Juliette. Being away from her for this long only made being with her right now even more special. Juliette could just look her in the eyes long enough, and she'd melt. "You know what? That is true. You do have the skill, serving out of lanes. That's something." she said with a laugh. "So we might have a performance for you. I mean it's for everyone, but let's be real, it's mainly for you. Just don't tell Chase or Jonah that. They might get all sulky." she whispered as if it were some kind of secret. "We got some drinks before leaving, so you could go as crazy as you want." Stevie always found it funny how much of a lightweight Juliette was. "But after, I have a surprise for you.
Juliette smiled, "I'm sure they will not be heartbroken that it's mostly for me. But you brought like a whole bus full of people. The place we're staying must be insane to house everyone and their everyones" said the girl, her face creasing around her eyes from smiling so hard. "I think I'll take it easy, I want to remember everything. One drink won't send me falling over. But to be fair, I haven't had any alcohol since I got here. So don't hold me to the not falling over thing". Hearing that Stevie had a surprise for her was very exciting, "A surprise? But you being here is the surprise! I don't have anything to give you except for time, and love, and affection. You should have warned me!" said the girl. She was happy that it had been a surprise, because she would have talked Florence into an early grave by never shutting up about Stevie coming. She also would have gotten so nervous she probably wouldn't have even been able to snack, which was a crime.
"You're gonna love it. Wren and Rose picked it out, and you know Rose, she's gonna get the best place possible. We all pitched in, but it did help that Gabrielle's family is fucking loaded." Everyone was pretty well off, so money was never an issue when it came to people in Hastings. Stevie let out a small laugh as Juliette mentioned that she hadn't drank the whole time she was in Washington. "Don't worry, I'll make sure we won't get as wasted as we did that one time at the club." she referred to, the one and only, Twisted Tuesday. "I'll also make sure to catch you if you fall over. Don't worry, babe, you're in good hands." she said with a relaxed smile. "Getting your time, love, and affection? That's a gift in itself. Who knew I was so lucky? But I think you'll enjoy this." Stevie had written Juliette a song while she was away and thankfully, she had finished it up right before this roadtrip was set up. "We could also finish what we started a while back." she spoke slowly, not trying to be too direct. Not only were they in public, but the memory of their almost-first time was ruined quite a bit. "If you want of course, no pressure. Seriously. I'm just glad I'm with you right now."
Juliette squealed quietly, she was just so excited that everyone was here. All of her people, "I cannot wait to see it, and I'm sure the view is amazing." She hoped Stevie didn't put much money into this trip, that would make her feel really bad. Juliette assumed that their friends had hopefully and respectfully taken care of everything. "I'm sure I'll think of some way to repay the gift. I have time and a credit card, and Gabrielle and Marina. I will have to spend time with them, and also Jonah" said the girl, selfishly she wanted to spend all of her time with Stevie. But she missed her friends too and she knew she would regret it. Juliette knew that her girlfriend wasn't trying to be direct, she was so cute and casual. But Juliette had been thinking about what they started nonstop since they were rudely interrupted and lives were destroyed, "Of course I want to finish what we started, or what didn't get started. Trust me, I am beyond ready. Not to be aggressive about it, but I am not interested in being timid. I am so in love with you, and if that means being assertive for the first time in my entire life. I am going to do it." Juliette's cheeks felt like they were on fire as she rambled. She had never been so clear, but this was very important.
"No need, you've been through a lot." Stevie shook her head. Yes, they were both dealing with the long distance, but Juliette truly got the short end of the stick here. She was glad her girlfriend had met a friend like Florence, but the idea of her being shipped off to a boarding school pained her every time she thought of it. "Besides, what more could I ask for? I have you, right here right now. Everything's perfect." she said, looking deeply into the other girl's eyes. "Oh forsure, they've all missed you like crazy. Jonah had mentioned how sitting in silence with other people just doesn't feel the same? Probably because there's no such thing as sitting in silence when he's around Chase all the time." she chuckled. "I'll chill with Wren and Rose, even though he'll probably be with Chanel most of the time." Stevie was just so glad they all got to hangout together as a big group. They usually did these kind of things pretty often, but it never felt right when Juliette wasn't there. Stevie smiled at her girlfriend, she of course didn't mind how this night would turn out, but she wanted Juliette so bad, especially after being so close beforehand. "No, be as aggressive as you want. I love when you try to give off top energy." she nodded. "All jokes aside though, I really love you. So much. I'll make sure the night is perfect."
Chase being quiet was a funny thing to think about, "I'm sure he intends to be quiet and then just starts talking out of nowhere" she said with a little laugh. She wasn't super excited that Chanel was here, but she knew that this trip was about her and Stevie. Wren would keep her occupied enough, and there were plenty of both of their friends here. Juliette had to laugh, "top energy? Don't be getting any ideas about how intense I'm being right now, I know I'll be back to my timid bottom energy the second we're behind closed doors and all thoughts of talking big game are going to be out the window." She smiled when Stevie said she loved her and wanted to make the night perfect, "There's no such thing as perfect, I'm just going to be happy to be there with you. Just remember that I love you and even though I don't know what I'm doing, I am still very very cute." The two ate their lunch and had a wonderful montage worthy time of laughing and smiling and complimenting. Everything you could want out of a first date, and Juliette paid before the two of them were off again. //TBC

Halloween || Wren and Chanel
@chrysolites
Wren: Wren was taking a body shot off of some random senior when he felt eyes watching him. "Okay now your turn" he said as she hopped down from the counter. Wren pushed himself up onto the counter and laid down, unbuttoning his shirt all the way. He put the lime in his mouth as she licked her finger slowly and wet a patch on his stomach. She poured salt on and went and slowly licked it up, took a shot from a shot glass and then went to take the lime out of his mouth with hers. She went in for the kiss, but Wren felt really watched, so he just sat up and got off the counter.
Chanel: Chanel couldn't take her eyes off of Wren and the girl, she couldn't understand why it was getting to her so much. She smiled to herself without realizing as he hopped of the counter but looked over at him with pout. "Aw, you're not having fun? I can see why, she's not that cute." she said, looking the girl up and down with narrowed eyes. "But I can't say I'm surprised, your taste is very... questionable."
Wren: Wren had been feeling more confident recently, ever since the break up people had been gassing him up left and right. "Oh, I was having fun ... and now you're here" said Wren rolling his eyes. "Yeah, the dead giveaway should've been us being friends for so long. That and the long basketball shorts in middle school" Wren joked, trying to soften the roast.
Chanel: "Didn't look like it to me. You couldn't even kiss the poor girl, are you scared they'll never be as good as ours?" Chanel asked without thinking. She was already a little tipsy and she was already not giving a fuck. "Would you like me to finish the job?"
Wren: "You mean when we were kids? Or do you mean that quick peck you gave me when I had a girlfriend?" asked Wren with a sharp tone, "and no, I think you've done enough". Wren knew he'd been sloppy around her the other night over text, but when he woke up he never texted back because he was embarassed. He didn't have the patience for this right now, he needed another drink. Wren opened up a white claw and took a big chug.
Chanel: "You say I've done enough but you seem to keep wanting more and more." Chanel shrugged her shoulders, looking at him with a sarcastic frown on her face. "Always fucking texting me first. Are you like, obsessed with me or something? It's kind of pathetic."
Wren: "You came up to me, if you don't care then just ignore me" said Wren, annoyed at how she would dare say that about him. Obsessed with her? Please. "I'm just tryna have a good fuckin time. So just be on your way"
Chanel: "I mean how was I just going to ignore you when you were asking me over and over again if I was still mad at you?" Chanel said in a certain tone to try and piss him off more. "Do you miss me Wren? Am I all you think about?" she asked, walking closer to him. "Like I said, really pathetic."
Wren: She was getting up in his space, so he met her there. Moving into her space to show he wasn't going to be backing down, "I already told you to leave me alone, looks like you don't want to. Maybe you're pathetic" said Wren sharply. "Am I your new piss off project? Finally done with Val?" he asked, making very direct eye contact.
Chanel: It was so easy to just walk away, but for some reason, Chanel still found herself pushing this conversation further. "Maybe you are, you're just so easy." she put a smile on her face, acting as if she wasn't getting annoyed. "Is it working? Am I pissing you off?"
Wren: “Funny, I thought you were supposed to be the easy one” said Wren, “surprised you’re doing your own dirty work and not sending devyn and her mixed messages at me. You two just sit around and fuck with me?” He asked, he imagined them just sitting on a couch together, crafting the perfect texts to get into his head.  Chanel: Chanel’s face softened after hearing Wren’s first comment. She just couldn’t win with him. She’d try her hardest to piss him off, but he always seemed to know what got to her the most. Chanel couldn’t contain her anger at that point, “Don’t fucking tell me about the those texts.” she snapped at him. “I told you I had nothing to do with it. I wouldn’t do that. Why can’t you just believe me?” she asked, as if she hadn’t already given him plenty of reasons to not believe her at this point.  Wren: “She called me daddy? Like she would do that on her own volition, clearly she’s making fun of me” said Wren so frustrated why Chanel wasn’t just admitting it. He poured himself a shot and took it. “If you wanted to ruin my night, then congrats” he said pouring himself another one and one for her, “cheers” he said sliding it over to her.  Chanel: Chanel felt the anger building up in her as Wren mentioned what Devyn called him. A selfish part of her didn't want to explain how it wasn't said to make fun of him because she didn't want there to be a possibility of Wren taking things further with Devyn. Chanel wouldn't be able to handle that. But she knew how he felt about himself, and she would never encourage that mindset he had. "No one is making fun of you, okay? I wasn't apart of that, at all." she began to raise her voice. "I didn't even know she said that shit to you, and I didn't want to know." Chanel looked at the shot and quickly downed it. She was too sober for this shit.  Wren: "Then why did it happen?" he asked, pouring them both two more shots. "I'm just tired of all these games, like what's even the point?" he asked. He just wanted to be drunk and have fun, "Like why did you have to play games with Valerie, why did you have to involve me?" Wren questioned as he downed another shot.  Chanel: "I don't know, okay? You think I wanted her to tell you all that? I had no idea that even happened until after the fact." Chanel groaned, taking the next shot. "If you're still so concerned about her, why don't you just get back together with her? Why even breakup?" she began asking him questions to avoid answering the ones he asked her.  Wren: "Wait, I was talking about her hitting on me ... what are you talking about?" he asked, confused now and getting pretty drunk. HIs drinks were catching up to him. "I don't even fucking like her" said Wren, loudly, and almost angry.
Chanel: "Uh I was talking about that too... Why? Is there more to this than her hitting on you?" Chanel asked with wide eyes. "You two didn't fuck, did you?" she asked, getting really ahead of herself. "Oh sure you don't." she rolled her eyes. "I thought you didn't like her before either and then you dated her. See, you're not very trustworthy either."  Wren: "What? No!" said Wren giving her a confused look, "She thirst tweeted about me though, it was weird. She's practically dating jonah who chose her over my sister. So it's all such a cluster fuck" Wren added, getting frustrated just talking about it. "I thought I liked her, I was wrong" said Wren, "and you were right. Are you fucking happy?" he asked, getting up in her space.  Chanel: Chanel regretted even asking that kind of question. She didn't want to make it seem like she was jealous or anything. That would just be crazy. "Yeah I saw the tweet. I don't what the fuck is going on with all of that." she crossed her arms, clearly annoyed by the whole situation. "I am actually. I'm always right, aren't I?" she asked, looking him straight in the eyes.
Wren: "Honestly I was just feeling confident, I've been working hard on it and she just made me feel crazy about the whole Rory Jonah thing. Like I'd been upset with Jonah for no reason" said the boy. He heard her comment about always being right, he wasn't expecting her to be so smug "Do you ever shut up?" asked Wren moving in close to her.  Chanel: Chanel wished she could ask how Wren was doing lately, she had been so worried about him. She just hoped that he wasn't working out too hard. She was going to say something about it until she noticed him moving closer. "If you're so bothered by me talking then do something about it." she said with an attitude. Wren: "Well do I have permission to?" Wren said in a super annoyed tone. Asking was not sexy. But here they were.
Chanel: Chanel rolled her eyes, "Did I not say for you to do something about it? That means do something about it." she said, getting even closer to Wren's face.  Wren: "Don't roll your eyes at me" said Wren quietly and gruffly as he pulled her in for a long and sloppy kiss. He moved his hands to her hips and put her up on the kitchen counter.  Chanel: Chanel wrapped her arms around Wren's neck quickly and kissed him back just as sloppily. She opened up her legs as she sat on the counter and moved her hands down to his shirt to pull him close against her.  Wren: Wren needed the gratification of her liking his body, he moved her hand onto his stomach in the thin gap between them. He kept kissing her, and moved to her earlobe and sucked on it slowly as he moved his hand up her waist, closer to her chest, just teasing the idea.  Chanel: Chanel smiled against his lips as he moved her hands to where he wanted them to be. She had such an urge to rip his shirt completely open, and that's just what her drunk ass did, moving her hands around his chest and stomach afterwards. A soft moan escaped her lips as he sucked on her earlobe. Chanel took hold of one of his hands and moved it in her bralette.  Wren: Wren could feel how accidentally hard he was getting, he pushed up against her and met her moan with one of his own. She put his hand under her bralette and he thought it was impossible to be any harder, but he physically hurt. Wren kissed down her neck from her earlobe, sucking slowly. He wanted to say something, but he didn't know what. His brain was on fire. He just shoved every thought out of his head.  Chanel: Chanel could feel how hard Wren was as his body was pushed against hers. As she let her hands travel down his body she pressed on his crotch lightly and tilted her head to the side while he sucked on her neck. "I didn't know I could get you this excited so fast." she spoke softly before pushing him back to look him in the eye. "You wanna know how wet I am?" she asked as she took his other hand and moved it in between her legs. Maam we're in a kitchen.  Wren: Wren let out a low groan as she pressed herself against him. When she put his hand on her and he felt how wet she was, all he could think about is how people were definitely looking, "Not sure if you're that wet. Maybe you can show me in private" said Wren quietly in her ear. Ma'am he wants the whore.  Chanel: If Chanel wasn't so drunk, she'd probably suggest they go to his or her house. For some reason she had pictured her first time with Wren to be super romantic, but she didn't care about any of that right now. She just wanted him any way she could get. "Aw but I love how everyone can see us, it turns me on so much more. Imagine you fucking me on this counter in front of all these people. How hot would that be?" she teased him. "But I can give you a private show if that's what you want."  Wren: "What? No" said Wren, he thought that sex should be more private and romantic. Every time he imagined being with Chanel he pictured it to be super romantic. He didn't want to lose out on that.  Chanel: "We could go up to one of the bedrooms, but we cannot go in Griffin's cause I totally hooked up with him and that would be weird." Chanel said, as if it was appropriate to bring up some other guy right now. "But it was at Chase's place. Don't tell him though, he doesn't know." she whispered in Wren's ear to make sure no one was listening. "How about you fuck me in one of the bathrooms? That's private but it could be fun." she said, her words slurring a bit. She needed to act hot if she wanted to keep his attention, clearly everything else never worked with Wren. Chanel wanted this to work so bad.  Wren: Wren got overwhelmed. "I just, I need to go. Um .. come by whenever and we can talk." said Wren leaving just super confused and over stimulated. He needed to go home asap. The bathroom thing really got him, how could girls keep using him like this. How could she want to be him and also pull shit like this. She must not want to be with him.  Chanel: "What?" Chanel asked softly as he walked away. What was she doing wrong? Why couldn't she get this right? She finally noticed all the people in the room giving her nasty looks. Chanel quickly hopped off the counter and fixed her skirt, feeling incredibly disgusted with herself. Now everyone would start talking about her and how easy she is. Wren probably had just realized that he didn't want to associate himself with someone as pathetic as her. She needed to leave, she didn't want to be at this party anymore.
