Alright well you asked for it so heres some more Wozposting

When I say “at bay” I just kinda mean “prevent it from taking over the world like it did that one time” because I always imagined it was using Scott as a host Pre Borderline Forever, was able to free itself after Scott became aware of it, and then after Borderline Forever Scott essentially allowed it to use him as a host again because without a host it would grow and encompass the world again. I don’t really have a reason that the host getting his ass blasted would release the border but something something guardian of virginity idk it’s just fun to make him suffer. Way to take one for the team white boy.

As for my interpretation of the hostless border, I actually never imagined it looking like a person (though I do adore the designs you made of it!!). To me the border looks like a semi-humanoid mass of rectangular blue wires, and where the face would be is the main rectangle. The main figure of the border hangs in the core of the space station while the wires on its back reach through the walls and can manipulate anything aboard. The wires themselves have a quality to them where they glitch every so often, kinda to show that it exists on a different plane of reality (the edited in plane lol).

As for what it looks like when it manifests itself to its host while tethered, I’d just like to think it takes the form of ghost Chet just to fuck with Scott. Theoretically it can take to form of anyone since it doesn’t have a body but having it be Chet is fun.

all of this is wonderful and I don’t have the words to describe how much I like your guardian of virginity thing Scott has going on HOWEVER we are now at war I am top Scott’s strongest soldier I think he could do crazy things I believe in him
