There's a reason I don't have Journey To Batuu, mostly as I don't care for Star Wars and I'd have to get a bunch of hider mods to hide all the Star Wars junk from my CAS like I did the base game stuff and I'm not sure it would ever be worth it even tho it seems to have at least one nice hair in it based on gallery Sims I keep grabbing that end up bald for me. But is a single hairstyle worth ~$20? No, as Star Wars does nothing for me and honestly I remember my one friend only having the pack as someone gifted it. Someone gift it to me so I can bitch about it freely without feeling stupid. I just cannot with things based on whole other franchises. I mean lets say there was a, idk, Sonic pack, I'd still find that weird as even tho I like Sonic, I'd rather it not be, okay actually I probably would nevermind. I'd be one of three people who does. Off The Grid and Simple Living, as much as I bitch about them, would be perfect for a Castaway pack or spinoff or SOMETHING for 4. Funny as I was just talking about this very topic on Twitter earlier (after getting distracted for 3 hours seeing the most insanely entitled whining ever why am I like this) and also give me hyena dogs and jaguars again idc, reskinned cats and dogs are fine I have fucking griffons and dragons. My favorite Sims packs and games are those that take concepts I would never in a million years expect or ask for, and with how many complaints I have about things in Cottage Living, I'd still call it my favorite pack, even if Seasons or Cats & Dogs does more for me overall gameplay wise.

Off the grid and simple living ruin my immersion bc why the fuck does my sim live next to a guy who just moved in from the multiverse hub and he’s wearing nothing but a thong and a harness, the ugliest bright magenta wig you’ve ever seen, neon green glasses with lenses that are the exact same shade of purple as his platform boots that don’t make him taller, but instead shave off half of his calf to make up for the platform, and he’s got the same grey/purple skin tone as all the other badly dressed guys who just moved in from the multiverse hub

I just finished watching HOTD and I have sm thoughts rumbling inside my head and I’m going to try my best to get them out in a way that makes sense

HOTD 2.07 Spoilers Ahead

- The ending of this episode saved it sm omggg. And please I understand why these side characters need this story building. Esp Daemon, I think we as viewers have been robbed in a lot of ways of seeing Daemon as a multi dimensional emotional character. However, this is why shows need to go back to 24 episode seasons. When there’s only 10 episodes before we lose these characters for two years I wanna see more action and not so much story building.

- The scene with Jace, my bbg 😖🫣🫠. I loved that scene bc it shows that Jace is insecure. He realizes what people say abt him and in some ways he probably believes it as well. Bc even if he has “plain” features the thing that separated him from the small folk was his claim to a dragon. Now that the small folk can claim dragons it’s like he is one of them. And I understand those frustrations (if we had 24 episode seasons 🙄) I would’ve loved to see wherever he went and have like a private moment amongst himself or even with Baela

- Daemon, Daemon, Daemon 😭😭. I’m sorry but him tripping acid in Harenhal is so genuinely funny to me. In seriousness tho we stan Oscar Tully cuz we love seeing Daemon humbled. The way he was able to spin the situation and make Daemon the uncomfortable one? Yeah you ate down mama

- The scenes with Matt and Paddy are just so good their chemistry off the charts. And the fact it was Paddy’s suggestion to do the scene as decrepit Viserys makes it even better bc it’s Viserys telling Daemon here the crown is yours, you’ve always wanted it, but while I hand it to you, look what it did to me.

- As someone who has not read the books, I saw that in the books Rhaena was happy in the Vale and that makes me sick cause that girl deserves it. Pray she claims a dragon next episode.

- Can a book person confirm is Alyssa had a sister? Cause ik with the kings guard from last episode (sorry I’m bad with names) they like made up Aerianna? So I wanna know if Hugh’s mom actually existed. Also hate hm character development/screen time he’s gotten as opposed to other side characters makes me sick.

- All those small folk in Dragonstone had me like, idk sista, but Rhaenyra seriously gained infinite aura points being able to calm Verthimor down.

- Vermithor knew damn well he ain’t have to burn all them people like that. Which leads me into my point that I love that these dragons have personalities. Like Syrax is literally just a girl, Vermithor is hot headed, Vhagar is an old lady, I just love that aspect of the show and someone give us a dragon personality fic

- Ulf stumbling onto a dragon like that I thought for sure he was dead. And also another clutch of dragon eggs???? Do they not know abt silverwing? Sm questions but when he went to kings landing I thought for a moment he was going to claim House Hightower. And when Aemond got to a haggard she was like “not again cmon”

- PERIOD THE DRAGON AT THE END WITH HER CREW BEHIND HERRRR!!! FUCK AEMOND WE DONT NEED HIMMMM!!! Such a boss power move like that was epic

- My favorite part abt next weeks preview was seeing Aemond tell Haelena she would have to ride Dreamfyre. Like she’s not meant yo be a warrior princess she’s meant to run in a field of flowers

SHADOW AND BONE SEASON 2 SPOILERS

My thoughts and opinions 😱. I honestly really really enjoyed it, it’s different but it’s an adaptation of what I already love. Some parts though could’ve definitely been better.

• I know people were skeptical about Patrick but straight away from episode one where he went “You don’t know me? Maybe in profile. ” that was when I knew Nikolai literally was on my screen. He did a great job!

• I think Jack is lovely. Unfortunately I think that he was a bit too much van sunshine and not enough Wylan. He does a wonderful job on the cute parts but Wylan from the books is witty and brave and reckless even, hopefully we get to see that more in a future season 🤞

• SUJAYA OWNS ME IN EPISODE SIX 🧎‍♀️ Zoyas outfit in Shu Han is legendary. Sujaya IS zoya and nobody can tell me otherwise. Zoya is one of my favorite characters and I really enjoy how Sujaya portrays her!

• I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR DAVIDS DEATH 😭. When Genya found the ring I lost it right then and there it was SO SAD.

• I’m very disappointed in how they did Wesper tho 😭. We got absolutely no slow burn, and while Kit and Jack have great chemistry I was hoping we’d get a bit more of that are they? Are they not? That we got in the beginning of soc

• episode four was amazing. I was a bit upset at first that they were using part of the ck plotline but after I watched it I’m not too mad. I really liked how Freddy did that scene with Pekka it really gave off Kaz in the books vibes. Loved it.

• when amita said “and how will you have me?” And that whole monologue it was PERFECT. Her pauses and her expression masterpiece really.

• I was a bit sad about how they did Alina this season. I very much relate to Alina and I really loved her in season 1. This season it felt like her character didn’t really go anywhere, I would’ve liked to see her start out a bit more hesitant and to grow into who she is at the end. They had Alina be really headstrong about what she wants right from the beginning which I get for time sake but still

• Where was the Tamar and Nadia scenes?? 😭 we got like CRUMBS if you could even call it that it was disappointing.

• That new tide maker lady who was like a teachers pet to the darkling was kind of weird imo. I’m assuming that was where Ivan would have been but I saw Julian’s (Fedyor) post on instagram where they decided to leave them out of this season. Which is unfortunate because the whole darklings crew was a bit weird including Vladim the weird Alekmi lol

• Daisy did a wonderful job as Genya. All her scenes were done spectacularly. I applaud

« well... speak of the devil », kuroo hears you chuckle, your voice almost drowned out by his heavy breathing. he’s obviously planing on apologizing for being late... but not now. there’s something he wants to do first. still very aware of your partner’s presence right in front of you, he decides to securely yet eagerly wrap his arms around your waist before spinning you around proudly. « so... you guys were talking about me ? » he asks, glad to know that he’s the reason behind your giggles. « we were, actually » you answer a bit more seriously as he finally puts you down, still keeping both his hands on your waist. « well, i am your boyfriend after all... » he starts, interrupting himself to place a loud peck on your jawline. the only thing you can think is about is how awful this situation must be for your partner... kuroo, on the other hand, doesn’t seem bothered at all, as shown by the way one of his hands discreetly makes its way under the fabric of your t-shirt to rest directly on your skin. « hands off, kuroo » you order him with a slap on the back of his hand. an offended gasp leaves his lips, yet he complies reluctantly, thinking that your partner probably already knows everything that needs to be known about him.

-Yes, he saw your weight, but to him it was just one of your attributes. He didn’t view it negatively, but rather just a part of you.

-He thought it suited you, anyway, and quickly grew fond of your plump self. He began to associate it with all your other good points, so seeing you always lifted his mood, if his enthusiastic greetings were any indication.

-Thought he was slick, but it’s obvious that he tries to pair the two of you together whenever possible. When he gets called out he comes up with the worst excuses. “I-I have a special grouping system. This was the optimum pairing for us!!”

-Often consults/discusses with you for important decisions. Y’all will form a little huddle whenever something goes wrong and (loudly) whisper amongst yourselves before he turns back to everyone else to announce the new plan (as if they couldn’t hear y’all, lol)

-Was awkward about touching you at first, mostly because he wanted to but knew he had ‘impure’ intentions and felt guilty about it. He brushed your hip by accident once and apologized to you for 5 minutes straight, hand motions and all. (He couldn’t stop thinking about it later, tho 😏)

-Being the traditional gentleman he is, he confessed to you through an eloquently written love letter that he spent a whole week perfecting. Wrote a whole thesis on when he realized he liked you, why he liked you, all your good points, and why he’d be an ideal candidate for your boyfriend.

-Willing to win your heart too, if necessary. He understands his feelings may be one-sided, but he’ll work hard to earn your affection!

-Oohh imagine a kiss from Tenya Iida. He only kisses you when there’s absolutely no one around, and he usually goes for your chubby cheeks. For your first kiss, he was a lil nervous but wanted to be chivalrous about it and announced his desire to kiss you...with your permission, of course. It would’ve been perfect had he not bumped your face with his glasses. Afterwards, he just rests his forehead against yours (ooOoOhh Iida 😩)

-His favorite form of affection are hugs so tight your feet nearly lift off the ground. Sometimes he gets too enthusiastic, but he can’t help himself, there’s no better sensation than your softness against him. In moments of excitement, he’ll pull you into a hug and spin you around (again, while you two are in private lol)

-Likes to hold your pudgy hand too, and sometimes presses a kiss to your knuckles if he’s feeling especially sentimental that day.

-Compliments you all the time, he’s vocal about even the most mundane things you do, from how you pack you organize your book bag to what you eat for lunch. “Y/N, you eat an apple with your lunch everyday, you’re so diligent about getting your proper nutrients, I love you!!” Ok, not the last part, but same energy.

-Please praise him back, he’ll be feeling himself for the rest of the day. You said that about him? To Tenya, it’s the highest form of flattery.

-Cheers for you the loudest during training exercises, you can hear him loud and clear all the way from the stands. Gets you fired up every time lol.

-So proud of you, he talks about you to anyone who will listen. You’re his s/o, and you prove to him with each passing day that he has excellent taste.

-Understands how much of a struggle it can be to find clothes, considering his huge calves, so he’s very patient when you two shop together. Though, do be prepared for his opinion on your choice in clothes...even if you didn’t ask for it. He has good intentions tho, he’s just trying to help 🙃.

-Gets flustered when anyone at school mentions your relationship. He tries to remain ‘professional’ in front of his classmates, so he sputters whenever they tease him about you. (So please, hug him in front of the class and watch him fall apart)

-Despite how he acts at school, Iida is more relaxed when it’s just the two of you. He loves having intelligent (or goofy) conversations with you, and he often makes you laugh with his earnest answers to your silly questions.

-Imagine: Initially you two were just talking about hypothetical villain scenarios in his room, but somehow you ended up acting them out and now Iida was chasing you around the room as you scrambled to get away, squealing. “Foolish Y/N! Don’t you know running is futile? There’s no escaping me!” he yells, launching himself over his bed and tackling you to the ground, tickling you as part of his nefarious plans with a triumphant grin on his face at your laughter.

-He didn’t realize how loud he was until he, the class rep, gets a knock on the door and a noise complaint. Tenya is thoroughly mortified, and y’all keep the shenanigans to a minimum afterwards lol.

-Fussy, he will worry over your comfort constantly to the point where it’s a little overbearing. “Y/n, I really do think you should put on some socks, you’ll catch a cold!” “Here darling, put this napkin in your lap so you don’t drop anything on your clothes” “Are you sure you don’t want to rest a little longer? I don’t want your feet to hurt”

-Speaking of aching feet, imagine if Tenya gave you a piggyback ride to rest your sore toes...while using his quirk:

-“Come on Y/N, let’s head back to the car so you can rest,” your boyfriend said, holding your hand and tugging you along in his usual authoritative manner.

-“But Tenya, wouldn’t we get there faster if I just rode on your back?”

-“Hm” he said, holding his chin, “...I suppose you’re right, darling. Well, onto my back, then!” he says, stooping over and beckoning for you to climb on. Once he was sure you were secure (read: clinging onto him for dear life) he took off, faster than expected.

-Way faster than you could’ve ever expected. You’d never experienced speed like this before, and Iida was just warming up. At the sound of your excited whooping, Iida grinned and sped up until you couldn’t discern the trees from the ground anymore. You gave his shoulder a firm squeeze, marveling at your boyfriend’s power.

-Who needs a car when you have this big, strong man to take you wherever you wanna go? 💙

Tierlist: Kid Math

Ok…. I’m gonna be honest. This one comes with a ton of bias and I couldn’t really see his episode.

E. But that’s cause he scared me

PBS pretty much outright said WordGirl was dying…… I almost couldn’t watch it anymore cause they were jerking airtimes around on me so bad. I’d had some of my favorite shows die around this age…. I wasn’t really ready for one that had so many role models and good examples to leave too.

Enter Kid Math.

I’d seen shows derail a main character….. to go after another when they were dying…. And then the original main character almost doesn’t exist….

I was TERRIFIED that was happening with Kid Math. They might have been trying to make a spin-off. Which honestly I would’ve watched. Hehe. Given the kid a real chance.

But the entire episode I could help thinking that he was gonna steal Word Girl away. My hero. All because the network wanted to kill it.

He had a really sweet (tho naive at moments poor boi help him) nature that at any other time I would’ve fallen in love. But with so many of my other shows leaving me and garbage (in my opinion) replacing them? It was sickeningly sweet sugar rubbed into an open wound. 😅

I’ve rewatched something of it. As an adult. And he is better. A LOT better. Than what I had been thinking.

I’ll give him a C now especially in fan stuff.

But unfortunately he still came at the time in my life where I was being forced to grow up. So I’ll admit I’m very biased against him in an unreasonable fashion.

Sorry for the essay on this one. 😅😅😅😅 he did just scare the crap out of me when I was little. I have to mentally tell myself to let it go sometimes.

Day 16: Least Favorite Snow Kid

D’Jok  

Sigh, this is going to be long.

Jok is an ass that can’t reasonably handle his emotions so he explodes at people around him, now I never liked him for that even tho it was understandable because of how I was raised you know, personal stuff but some people thought it made him more interesting. I never liked how the universe seemed to spin around him literally and figuratively, how the show always portrayed him as “the best” even though every SK is crucial to winning.

There’s more I’d like to focus on what made me love him as a character and what was later run over with a car and thrown into a ditch. He is a douche but it’s shown that he cares so much for his loved ones and the scene where Maya tells him the truth about his past and the SINGLE THING that he focuses on is how much she’s done for him? Brilliant. He is competitive and fierce which can be explained by a lack of a father figure but let’s not dive into that, this need to succeed at the sport he loves most and growing with his team is what drives him but also destroys him for me, D’Jok is called out time and time again and sometimes he does acknowledge his fault but then the writers have him do the same thing again. He should know that treating Yuki that way is not going to improve their situation but he can’t handle his stress so he does something he later regrets. Personally, I can’t stand those types of people but goddamn, I’ll be damned if his development growing as a team leader, person, and friend doesn’t make that up. It is magnificent. I cannot wait to see him in the next season where his personality and development can shine! Oh, wait no, the season needs drama so we regress Jok’s development so that he can still be a pretentious asshole to his team. His S2 growth where he grows to be one of the best characters in the show? Never heard of it, let’s write that useless drama that doesn’t even lead to anything besides superficial conflict. Guys, Alphaim, please, D’Jok is great, he’s one of my favorite protagonists because he is an asshole and not the bland goody-two-shoes as many are but he’s still a good person whose goals are unique to himself. So another season comes around and they forget his development and use the same, the goddamn same gimmick with how he’s a bad leader, but like? Alphaim, my boy really is more interesting and has more things to explore with his character than just this one thing, I’m not saying to stop giving him development and just toss him aside just do not go repeating the same bs cause it is downright disrespectful.

Season 3. oh.my.god.

Jok leaves the SK. JOK leaves the SK. I’ll skip over the fact that he would NEVER but oh no our MC doesn’t have a dramatic enough moment this season! Yes he does, I am speculating this was going through the writer’s heads ‘cause I see no other explanation. Mei leaves, she’s always been there and now she’s gone because they both had a falling out before the season’s start, he fucked up royally after the lost “friendly” match vs The Shadows where Mei is clearly distressed and is bottling it all up and he just start going off, they’re both not innocent in this and Mei manifesting the Smog is the culmination of all of this. No matter if all of his development is thrown out of the window or not Jok would’ve reacted badly to this, he wouldn’t however act like this after the fact. So going back, D’Jok could’ve had his” big moment” as I mentioned previously by staying with his team and slowly working things out with himself with the aid of the team, this would’ve been so much more impactful than the superficial, dramatic ass, bland and empty, uncharacteristic, bullshit that season 3 served up and called it quit. Now, why is D’Jok misogynistic in season 3, after Lord Pheonix introduces him to Team Paradisia he is so triggered by the fact that they’re all women......I...have no words, D’Jok being a douche to Yuki in S2 was so, so annoying but it paid off and it was one of the best moments in the show. This. Why.  He used to be my second fave, look how they massacred my boy

Hot takes

Ranboos character is incredibly boring, he does nothing for the plot. On top of that he is such a Mary sue since everybody loves him and overall he lacks any enemies. Not to mention the pacing of his current arc is frustratingly long.

Tubbo had a promising character arc during the whole L'manburg president wall arc where he exiled Tommy. I was excited to see him develop only to have him do a full boring circle and go back to square one of being a dynamic yet flat character who's potential is on the bench catching dust alongside Niki's, Fundys, and Erets.

Wilbur shouldn't have been revived at all and Ghostbur being sent on a train in Limbo without having a decent character arc is so disappointing like Jesus they slaughtered my boy-

I'd fucking ascend if Tommy finally had a good character arc were he developed as a character and didn't just reverse it minutes later, especially since the whole story somewhat revolves around Tommy like please at least let him mature a bit.

Kinoko kingdoms residents should have just teamed up with Eret and made a whole cool arc where they access the damage dream did to them and work on making a big ass kingdom like I would love to see it since that group has barely developed throughout all arcs.

Ranboo and Karls lore is basically the equivalent of filler side quest that does nothing to the overall game but is interesting enough to grab your attention initially.

1. agreed, honestly. i think he adds a bit to the story by making other characters get some development (c!tommy and c!sam specially), but narratively he is quite useless. i think his character has a lot of wasted potential (at least for now). i agree 100% that he's a mary sue he is THE mary sue of the server. i do agree with the pacing of his arc as well- it's just very very much only internal conflict and nothing else but there's only so much you can do for development with monologues and introspective moments. it's not necessarily bad and i get that there's people who like it, i'm just not one of them bc it's not the type of narrative i like to watch/read.

2. yeah, that's true. as much as i adore c!tubbo and he's my favorite character with absolutely no doubts about it, he is in need of some development. i do think he gets it from time to time tho- the whole nukes thing, building the interrogation room, getting walls around snowchester -, all of them are signs of who he is and of how everything that has happened to him affects him. that's important. it'd be nice to see it more worked on, but i believe that's something that will come with time (or not. cc!tubbo is not the biggest rp fan tho so i don't even mind)

3. ngl i LOVE c!wilbur being revived that was something i was so excited about bc i feel like he's someone that's gonna make the story move and i want that. i want that so bad. please c!wilbur make things happen. i was extremely upset with ghostbur's demise, tho. ghostbur deserved so much better and the prospect of him just being stuck in the train station forever is really, really disappointing, specially since cc!wilbur has said he has no plans for ghostbur anymore.

4. mmmmmmm hard disagree. i think c!tommy's getting good characters arcs ever since the smp started. cc!tommy is definitely one of the better writers in the smp and i love him for it. the thing is that c!tommy's arcs are a lot of "one step forward, three steps back", which can be really, really frustrating, but still works and sets a coherent pace to his characterisation. i like it, but i get where you're coming from and respect it

5. AGREED ABSOLUTELY AGREED like what was the point......... of starting a whole new kingdom......... if they had, as you said, just joined c!eret, that would've been amazing in so many ways. it'd add so much to plot, like fr. i love that idea and i support it so bad. specially bc kinoko kingdom just feels... empty? i guess? idk i feel like it has no history or depth to it but maybe that's just me. wouldve liked it a lot more if they had merged with someone else- even fucking c!niki, since they just built on top of her city without any regard for her lmaoooo

6. oh, c!karl's story is definitely a sidequest to the main story, but i don't think that's a bad thing. it's mostly irrelevant to the smp and, honestly, id prefer it if they kept it that way with exceptions to like.... add spice? like with the masquerade episode and the egg that was just SO GOOD bc it didnt really matter overall to the story but it gave the egg arc more depth and i think that's super, super cool and i hope they do it more. i like the idea of a little spin-off happening alongside the main story, it's just cool and can add a lot to the smp if done right. for now, i like it, bc i believe it's doing just that, and the whole thing with c!karl and the other side and the inbetween bits is quite interesting and makes the "random character travels through time" sidequest just,,,,, more than it would be without it. about c!ranboo......... mainly yes but also no? like, i think if it's worked on then his lore will stop being just a sidequest. i wish they explored his relations with c!dream more, bc, to me, that was the most interesting and curiosity-inducing part of his lore. everything else feels too disconnected from the important things happening rn. idk tho that might be just me LMAOOOOO

The review of Spiral that nobody asked for.

Spoilers ahead!!

Three days ago I went to see spiral, these are my overall notes. If you just want to know if you should go see it- heres a straight up answer. If you're a die-hard saw fan, yes. Go see the movie. If you're just into horror and wanna see it because its a saw movie and saw is iconic, wait until its free on something because it will be. Btw a lot of people liked this movie, I just didn't think it was all that compared to 80's horror. Im probably biased.

THIS IS JUST MY OPINION, IF THIS IS YOUR NEW FAVORITE MOVIE THEN THAT IS WONDERFUL AND I'M HAPPY THAT YOU ENJOYED IT.

First of all, the casting.

1. It felt less of a saw movie and more of a celebrity get together honestly. While they did have big names like Marisol Nichols, Chris Rock, and Samuel L. Jackson- It seemed as if Samuel L. Jackson was the only one who did their part, even if they were only a total of 3 scenes.

2. Its no shocker that Chris Rock wasn't the best for the movie. He added a large comedy aspect, one that couldn't be found in the original franchise.

3. No cameos, none at all. While not necessary, could've make me enjoy this movie a lot more. (There's one scene where there's pictures of John Kramer's autopsy but that's about it.)

Second, The weird shit

1. I know this sounds picky, yet they had the weirdest camera angles. At one point Chris Rock got his own Billy Hargrove on a sunny day gif . ifykyk

2. Random snippets of music play at random times, this is a horror movie, not a drama.

3. Billy wasn't a thing I guess??? Like there was no mention of him

Third, nit picking horror shit.

1. The consequences of the traps were too brutal. One mans fingers were torn off, one woman had to sever her spinal cord, another had to rip out his tongue. You wouldn't want to live with these consequences. This is nothing like two scars on your titties.

2. Nobody lived?? I wanted at least one person to live besides the main character.

3. This took place after the final chapter, Lawrence is still alive and possibly Hoffman. And they just did not care that Officer William was impersonating John Kramer the whole time?

4. Supposedly the cops were being punished because of the killing of officer William's dad being allowed under article 8. Its never clarified what article 8 is exactly, but if I use common sense- I'm guessing article 8 is "Kill everybody to avoid a court case and a possible mugging" and nobody caught on except this ten year old little boy. The public didn't bat an eyelash when the cops were going around killing all the civilians caught in a twist or catching a charge??

4. Since there's no Billy, Officer William uses a pig mask on the tv and decides to cut the inconvenience of using a voice modulater of any sort and alternatively tries to imitate the voice of a nine year old girl instead..

5. At the end, Zeke's dad is suspended in a trap, a swat team raids the building and finds him. Its so obvious that he can't attack, but there's a gun taped (?) To his hand which is lifted up by strings and pointed at the wall. The swat team proceeds to shoot the shit out of him even though he is the chief of police, mr savior, creator of article 8. I still don't know why they killed him even tho he so obviously was wound up in a trap and too loopy to even shoot.

1. Awesome beginning scene, starts off with a death scene like the Saw movies do.

2. You do NOT expect the killer to be Officer William. At least I didn't, the only give away is that his family picture looks like a stock photo and he didn't have any reason to be killed apparently.

3. Suspense, I was very anxious to see who'd get snatched up next- even though the consequences were too harsh for me to even want them to live.

4. Left it open for a sequel, maybe they can fix it.

5. I do enjoy the torture porn.

6. Short reference to the original Saw. Very appreciated..

7. The "riddles" were a very clever part of the movie. I enjoyed them.

i know this comes across as I don't like Chris Rock, I'm actually a big fan so I was excited to see his take on the role. I don't think he did bad, I just think this wasn't his thing.

I do know that this was supposed to be different from Saw, but the whole franchise has been done and loved by many people. Some hints to it would've been great. And even if they didn't want to, it could've been better than this if there was more thought put into this movie.

Even if this is a spin off- you can't ignore the universe it came from entirely. I don't think things truly would've gone like this.

some Julian x reader Hanahaki AU headcanons

hi this AU is entirely self-indulgent and I wrote this in about an hour at 12 am so please excuse any grammer and spelling mistakes

also i last played Julian’s route a little over a year ago so if he’s OOC i apologize (he’s my favorite tho so let’s hope I do okay afsjsgjs)

Also for those unfamiliar with Hanahaki disease: Hanahaki is a disease from Asian folklore in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when their beloved returns their feelings or when the victim dies.

* You get Hanahaki after Julian leaves you on the docks that first night

* It’s not too bad initially, but the more you continue to help him without being able to express the feelings growing within, the more the flowers grow with them

* You are VERY good at hiding it, though. after all, in you past life you were quite adept at hiding the fact that you had the PLAGUE of all things from everyone until you FUCKING DIED LMAO

* Only Asra thinks something may be off whenever you come home extra exhausted. you say it’s just because Julian’s struggles and shenanigans are draining to help with, but insist that you want to keep helping him and that you’re fine

* Asra doesn’t believe you.

* He’s the first one to find flower petals

* When you’re out for the day, he finds a couple between the blankets in the bed you share

* He panics

* He confronts you when you get home

* You don’t even deny it. you know you’ve been caught.

* “Who?” Asra whispers.

* You laugh a little. “Who do you think?”

* He’s furious at Julian. Absolutely furious.

* How could he do this to you?? If he knows anything about that mess of a man, he knows Jules does love you, he just doesn’t want to hurt you. Therefore, Ilya is both acting like he doesn’t feel for you and telling himself that he isn’t allowed to. But by doing those things, he is hurting you. Killing you, in fact.

* Asra wants to obey your wishes and keep it a secret, he truly wants to...but you’re dying! He can’t- he can’t go through that again. There’s no guarantee he’d be able to bring you back a second time. He’d give up the rest of his heart for you without a second thought, but he knows there’s a minuscule chance that an opportunity like last time will ever come around again.

* The first person he tells is Nadia. She may not remember their friendship, but she does at least know him as the helpful magician whose apprentice has been assisting her in her investigations.

* He begs, pleads, for help. She is quick to offer services from the very best doctors in Vesuvia, as she has grown quite fond of you in what little time you’ve gotten to spend together.

* The doctors’ prognosis isn’t a good one.

* Everyone knew it was Hanahaki disease, but they didn’t know just how good you were at hiding it.

* “They have two weeks. A month, if we’re lucky.”

* Asra’s heart stops. ...What? How long had it taken him to notice?

* “Don’t worry,” you smile at him. “I’ve only had it for two weeks or so. Apparently my case has been exasperated by how much time I’ve been spending with him...”

* Asra is seething. Julian probably doesn’t even realize he is actively suffocating you.

* Speaking of Julian...the first day you don’t show up to meet him at the spot you agreed upon, he is worried. But then he thinks perhaps you realized you’re worth more than all his mess and have given up on him.

* He wants to feel relieved at the thought, but it hurts... It actually hurts far more than he’d expected it would.

* Two more days pass without you, and the ache in his chest doesn’t dissipate in the slightest.

* Little did he know you spent all three of those days bedridden, your lungs full of flowers that you couldn’t seem to stop heaving up.

* On the third night, after rubbing your back until you fell asleep and wiping blood from the corner of your lips, Asra had enough. He was going to let Julian know just what he’d done.

* Asra knows all of Julian’s old haunts, naturally. He goes straight to The Hanged Man.

* He sees the gangly doctor sitting at a table, spinning a tale of adventure to distract his mind from thoughts of you, and makes a beeline for him.

* Julian’s eyes light up at the sight of his old flame, but quickly dim at the glare the magician is shooting him.

* Asra drags Julian out of the pub, pulling him into a nearby alleyway.

* “You’re killing Y/N.”

* “I- What?” Julian sputters.

* “Y/N is dying, and it’s your fault.”

* Jules blinks. What was Asra implying?

* “I-I can’t say I’m sure what you mean...”

* “You think they were only joining in all your shenanigans for the fun of it? No, Ilya. Y/N loves you.” Julian’s eyes widened. You...loved him? Truly? He would’ve smiled had Asra stopped there.

* The magician took a deep breath. “They love you...and they have Hanahaki disease.” All the air left Ilya’s lungs at the mere mention of those two words.

* “You’re killing them, Ilya. They wouldn’t tell you, but I refuse to sit idly by and watch them die when I can do something about it.”

* “I- I can try to help them, but there isn’t a cure-“

* “That’s not what I mean, and you know it.” Julian gulped at the harsh stare of the magician.

* “You love them back. I know you, Ilya. You fall hard and fast, and you hold onto that love as long as you can.”

* Asra blinked back tears. “Please. We both know what you have to do. Please, I-“

* “Neither can I,” Jules swallowed, a wetness forming in his own eyes. He couldn’t bear the thought of you dying, either. “Neither can I.”

* It’s late into the night by then, but the pair make their way to the shop in a tense silence. Asra doesn’t want to speak anymore, and Julian doesn’t know what to say to him.

* They return just in time to hear another coughing fit from you upstairs. Julian races up before Asra can even tell him where to go.

* He nearly bursts into tears just seeing you weakly lift your head up from the bucket you were hacking into to look at him.

* “Jul-“ “I’m such a fool,” he interrupts you, rushing to you and wrapping you in his arms. He’s about to cause another coughing fit just with how close he has you held against him.

* “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry,” he babbles, voice breaking. “This is all my fault.”

* “No, it isn-“ “I love you.” You draw in a breath out of shock, with no struggle for the first time in what feels like ages.

* “I love you. I always have. I knew it the moment I pulled you out of that barrel at The Hanged Man.” You laughed, and pulled yourself out of his embraces gently.

* “Oh, Ilya,” you murmured, reaching one hand up to cup his cheek. “You have no idea how happy you’ve made me. I love you, too. Perhaps for even longer than that.”

* That’s when he bursts into tears, shoving his face into the crook of your neck as sobs wrack his body. He came so close to losing you without even knowing it...! And now here you were, declaring a love for him that he could never have hoped for, a love he’d already given up on!

* You draw soothing circles on his back with your fingers. “Sh, sweetheart, it’s alright. I’m alright.” He simply nuzzles closer to you.

* You both eventually fall asleep for the night, his head resting atop your chest. You have one hand draped over his back and one in his hair, a small smile on your face even in slumber.

* Asra has only been this relieved once before in his life. He watches the both of you for a moment, both unbridled joy and a bitter loneliness dancing in his chest. But he knows he’d rather have this ending 1000x over before the possibility of losing you again.

“Oh no,” Piper said almost immediately when she saw the tired look on Melinda’s face. “Already? It’s that time of year again? I swore it just happened!” She squinted across the crowded dining room. “Why do they want to come visit the Dragon every year, anyways?” 

Melinda sighed, nimble fingers already flipping open her checkbook and scribbling out a well-practiced set of numbers. “Because apparently, the Dragon is the most successful out of all of the restaurants our family ended up owning.” She slid Piper the check, the other woman pocketing it without so much as even blinking. “Do me a favor and actually go on a vacation this time, yeah?” 

Piper rolled her eyes; she hadn’t taken up Melinda’s suggestion of a vacation since their little tradition had begun. “Is she going to be okay this year?” Both of their gazes drifted over to Skye, who was serving tables with her usual cheery aplomb. “Does she know?” 

Another sigh. “Honestly, I’m surprised the rest of them managed to keep it in so long. Lord knows Anna was insufferable in ‘15.” Piper barely held back a wince -- perhaps a May family reunion on the heels of a momentous Supreme Court decision hadn’t been the best idea, but her aunt Lucille had all but insisted on coming at the end of June. 

(Melinda had never truly understood the implication that Pride truly was a monthlong event until she’d had to pick up the entire Wu family from a holding cell in the 1st Precinct for heckling a pair of drag queens on the subway.)

“I think we should tell her,” Piper murmured, still watching Skye. “Just so -- just so that she’s prepared.” She turned to Melinda then, her expression grim. “I’ve done the whole passive-aggressive homophobia in family settings, and trust me, it’s not fun.” 

It’ll be less fun for Skye when she finds out her favorite relative is the biggest homophobe of them all. “Bobbi, Skye.” Both May daughters gravitated towards the back bar almost immediately upon being summoned, identical looks of confusion on their faces. It would’ve been cute if they’d been nine. Or if Melinda wasn’t about to shatter her daughters’ perceptions of their entire extended family. Love really was blind sometimes, unfortunately. “I need to talk to you about the reunion.” 

Skye, much to Melinda’s chagrin, perked up almost immediately. “That’s coming up already?“ she asked, eyes alight. “I haven’t seen great-aunt Teddy in months!” 

“That’s...actually what I want to talk to you about, honey.” Had they not been in the middle of a lunch rush, Melinda would’ve at least taken Skye aside to deliver the news. Her daughter deserved that much. But, as they were all learning, what you wanted wasn’t always what you got. Sighing, Melinda reached for Skye’s elbows, holding them gently. “You know...you know your great-aunt Teddy leans pretty conservatively, right?” 

“I...” Watching the light go out of Skye’s eyes crumpled Melinda’s heart in four and shoved it into a tin box. “How many of...is she...” Skye’s jaw muscles jumped back and forth for a long period of silence; Melinda could only guess what numbers her daughter was working out in her head. “Are all of them --?”

Melinda could only nod, and she watched Skye’s eyes close in absolute defeat. Woe had it been anyone else -- Skye had adored Melinda’s aunt Teddy since they’d first met, one chatterbox to another immediately hitting it off and becoming inseparable ever since. Teddy had been the one to show up to every single one of Skye’s performances, be they recitals or makeshift art shows, woven her way so tightly into the young woman’s life Melinda doubted Skye could ever separate such a thread from the richly woven tapestry that was her upbringing. 

Except now there was a new thread, one so intricate and crucial to the landscape that made up Skye May, and it was blue-pink-purple and tied around Jade Wong (even if she didn’t know that part yet, it was practically inevitable) and delicate to every pair of scissors that tried to cut it out of her. 

Given the chance, Melinda knew not only would Teddy Liu snip the newly-woven thread just revealed in Skye’s life, she would hack away at it with drippingly-poisonous insincerity and mind games until it finally broke. And hell if she would let that happen on her watch. 

In her arms, Skye let out a gargantuan sigh, nestling so that she was better aligned with the crook of Melinda’s arms. “Who am I supposed to tell now?” she asked shakily, and the trepidation behind it was definitely not a conversation meant for a dining room during the dinner rush. “Who’ll -- what if I --” 

Who’ll be my extended branches? Who will be left to stand by me? Would all of their admiration turn to disgust? Would I be a betrayal to their years of emotional investment? All these years they’ve been my bleachers, and I take a bat and smash their investment to smithereens. These are people I’ve known all my life, and they’re about to be gone, about to sneer and shun me for who I am, for who I --

the fact that Tom and Sonic actually had good chemistry!! it would’ve been really easy for the movie to have Tom constantly irritated by Sonic to try to play up the humor of the mismatch, but I appreciate SO much that instead Tom really is kind of charmed by him and also just rolls with it

Sonic’s soul-crushingly intense loneliness acting as a tangible motivation to protect the friends he finally makes!! I mean yeah, we always admire that Sonic places a lot of value on his friendships, but making that the culmination of his character arc instead of the starting point is just SO SATISFYING

the SHEER JOY Sonic gets from being able to give a high-five for the first time

when Tom carries Sonic in his arms, the CG communicates that Sonic has WEIGHT (which I feel like a lot of IRL/CG interactions forget)

Sonic rolling up into a ball, and more than once

how much Sonic genuinely and deeply cares about the residents of Green Hills and kind of lives vicariously through them

Robotnik being, let’s face it, straight-up abusive and occasionally threatening to his assistant, a la SatAM, while also demonstrating that he favors him above all others (tho that’s really not saying that much because anyone that’s not a robot is still a waste of space to him)

Sonic running repeatedly in front of Tom’s radar gun to check his speed

SONIC DOING THE FLOSS I CAN’T HANDLE IT

Sonic’s innocence. It seems like in a lot of media lately he’s been the one teaching lessons or providing others with those little simple joys they’ve been deprived of. It’s really gratifying to see HIM in that position and being so grateful to finally have those experiences.

Sonic saying his legs “feel like spaghetti” due to Tom shooting him with a tranq dart (and the fact that this actually makes him physically vulnerable, which is so damn rare)

Sonic using level 100 smarm to demonstrate to Tom that he doesn’t know how to get to San Francisco by himself

Sonic’s map containing even more game references, including (if I remember correctly) the Blue Sphere ‘planet’

And just a couple things I wish were changed:

In the bar, when the server asks if Sonic is “a kid in a mask” and Tom tells her he’s “43 and has a condition” that makes him look like that, why 43?! He should’ve said 28!! SONIC IS CURRENTLY 28 IT’D HAVE BEEN PERFECT~

The fact that Robotnik only really starts looking like Robotnik as we know him in the couple minutes of the epilogue. I wish his appearance had changed -- or at least started to change -- in time for the final showdown. Like, maybe there could’ve been an explosion that burned off some of his hair (which would explain WHY he decides to shave his head, since the hair’s half-gone anyway) and bushed up his mustache, and then the impact of the chaos-charged spin dash is still when the mustache got all orange

The movie makes a point a few times about how Sonic’s just kind of throwing whatever he can find on his feet, and just before act 3 Maddie even comments on “his poor feet” while examining him. The movie even specifically shows that his shoes and socks have holes in them because of how much stress he puts on them (and it’s not like he can just go get new ones when he needs them). Since he spends most of the movie with inadequate footwear, and the health of his feet is kind of majorly important to his character, I wish Sonic had intermittently complained about them hurting to corroborate that. Or maybe even never verbally complaining about them, maybe just now and then when they have a moment to pause he could be seen rubbing or squeezing them.

I really, really wish Tom’s dog’s name was Muttski! (But hey, given that Sonic is prone to assigning nicknames, maybe that could be a nickname for the dog in a later movie!)

Reveling in Richonne

#136 The Right One (9x03)

Y’all, if anything Richonne related was recorded and released then I gotta break it down. That’s just the rules. 😂 And there were three deleted scenes from this episode that didn’t make it on the air but were still filled with Richonne goodness so I definitely gotta break it down and revel in it.

So the first deleted scene is with the Grimes Family visiting Siddiq. Judith is looking at Siddiq like doctors visits are not her favorite and Rick and Michonne sit next to each other on the side, trying to be as positive as possible so that Judith will be down to get her check up. 

R&M look adorable as they so easily go into this parent role of encouraging Judith. ☺️ Like I love that they’re the kind of parents who both will feel it necessary to take time off to take their daughter to the doctor together as a whole family event. 

So Siddiq suggests to Judith that maybe her dad can go first and Rick’s all cutely nodding and willing to do this for his daughter and then he reassures her “And Family Fun Day right after, I promise.” as Michonne nods in agreement. My face hurts from smiling like a dork lol. I love that “family fun day” is the coined phrase for them and that Rick is so eager to give Judith (and Michonne) (and him) this Family Fun Day. I could listen to Rick refer to the three of them as family all day. 💯 

So Rick gets up and he and Siddiq demonstrate the whole breathing thing which is cute and Judith smiles very entertained, which is even cuter. And then Siddiq mentions that Judith’s file doesn’t have a family history. 

And Rick looks over to Michonne cuz they both know why this conversation is a bit awkward. I’m glad Rick confided in Michonne about that whole Lori and Shane moment in season 7 cuz now he has someone who can be on the same page with him about this kind of stuff.

Siddiq asks if there are any conditions that run in the family like allergies and chronic conditions and all that.

Both Rick and Michonne share a knowing look like, “Look our daughter has a very complicated family history” lol. 😬 Like look at their faces and tell me that’s not a direct quote from their mind.

It’s so interesting tho to have a moment in season nine that alludes to stuff that went down in season two. Again, Michonne never even met Lori and Shane but I’m glad she knows enough to be able to share an understanding and supportive feeling with Rick here, rather than this being something Rick has to carry alone. 

And Rick seems very happy to sort of look at Michonne throughout like “well ain’t this a little messy situation cuz of messy Lori & Shane”. Direct quote from Rick’s mind. 😂

But Rick plays it off saying, “I can’t remember much.” I feel like this really does cement that Rick has reason to be sure Judith isn’t his. Cuz I feel like if it was just a “feeling” that she’s not his biological daughter then he would’ve at least tried to think of some family conditions he might have, but Homeboy’s certain so he’s like nope I did the math and you don’t have to worry about my family history here.

I know for R&M, Judith is their daughter period so I feel like that’d be why they don’t clarify to Siddiq that her parents aren’t actually alive, cuz as far as anyone is concerned Rick and Michonne are her parents.

Rick then quickly changes the subject and asks about Aaron and then they talk about the missing savior and all that. Michonne’s a bit concerned about the fact that a savior was sent packing by Rick and left at night, but Rick is fairly certain it’s nbd. 

And I wish it was no problem. I really do. Cuz then that perfect family fun day wouldn’t have had to end so abruptly. But I just have to note this scene for being yet another glimpse into the lives of the Grimes mom and dad. 😊

The next deleted scene is on the picnic blanket. I wanted this picnic blanket scene to be it’s own episode/spin-off series lol. 😂 But I’m glad that since it was only a clip in the montage, that there was at least a deleted scene with them in this moment.

The scene starts with Rick and Michonne watching Judith in this quiet peaceful environment. Judith coughs and Rick is quick to assure both him and Michonne, “It’s just a cough, nothing to worry about.”  

Michonne agrees and says, “Yeah. Still I’m glad we checked cuz you never know.” Mama Michonne’s saying it’s better to be safe than sorry which I’m sure she feels strongly after losing both her sons so suddenly.

There’s something deep about this moment between them because of course they’re caring parents so that’s why this cough is of note to them, but also as of now this is their last remaining kid. And I know they are both so resolved to never lose her or let anything bad happen to her, whether it be something big like a walker and outside threats or something seemingly “small” like a cough and potential sickness.

Rick gets closer to Michonne and says, “If we could just have a few more years like this; quiet ones. For her sake and ours.” 

I really love that it’s been made clear multiple times throughout this series that Rick’s ideal life would consist of just getting peaceful time with Michonne and their family. 

Just like he wanted a few more days in 7x12, here he expresses wanting a few more years to have beautiful moments like this family fun day. The type of day they’re having and have clearly had in the last year and a half is the type of life he wants Judith to grow up with.

It’s sweet that he says for her sake but also for theirs. Of course they want Judith to have the best and happiest life possible, but I appreciate that Rick wants that for him and Michonne too. “And ours”. They’re married, y’all. 🙌🏽💯

I feel like this line is also meant to allude to the fact that raising a new baby in a world that can finally be quiet and tranquil would be great for them and their expanding family. Like he’s saying, if we can have peaceful years like this, then our babies (plural!!) will really be able to thrive.

I’m just glad Rick was written to be so expressive of loving his time with Michonne and their family this season. Like any chance he gets he’s giving her his focus and expressing his love and appreciation both verbally and non verbally. 

It also just makes me think about how, in Carl’s final moments. Carl shared his vision of the future with R&M and one of the things he envisioned is that “Michonne is happy.” That’s something that was important to Carl and has been important to Rick for a long time too. Rick promised Carl he’d make everything in Carl’s vision real and I feel like making Michonne happy has been a priority to Rick this season, after having to go on his own grieving journey last season. 

With this deleted scene, I love that Rick somewhat randomly brings up how what he wants is to live out his years just like this with them. Years, y’all. 🙌🏽 That’s significant cuz in the past nobody had the luxury to think in terms of years, TF was just trying to survive and make it to the next day. But this really does show how sustainable life’s become, that Rick can now talk in terms of years and that he wants that much time to not just survive but really live and enjoy life with his family.

Michonne of course agrees and says yeah. And it’s emotional cuz this is all both of them want. As hard as they’ve fought to survive and as much as they’ve been through, all they want is to be able to put that aside and live life as a family.

And then as they both smile watching Judith, who is their little light, Rick takes Michonne’s hand. I absolutely adore this. 🥰 

One; I adore that they hold hands any chance they get and two; just the act is so sweet, especially because I feel like this is Rick at his most happy and content. And I feel like him taking her hand emphasizes the “and ours” part cuz he’s like this right here, watching our daughter is perfect and also this right here being with you is what makes it perfect too. So he wants Michonne to know that she’s his light and hope in this as well. 😌 

He takes her hand also to just serve as yet another reminder that no matter what happens they’re in it together. The world has a tendency to scream at them a lot but they know they can withstand whatever would come at them in these coming years. 

And this couple is balanced cuz he takes her hand in this moment to offer comfort and then as we saw in the actual episode, Michonne does the same when she takes his hand to offer comfort before he goes. I love the parallel of that cuz it illustrates how they both equally offer each other this comfort and unity. 

I was just looking at Rick and Michonne and Judith together at this picnic like...

Like Rick knows he’s got the best wife and that with all the work the two of them have put in to making this world civil again, he believes they’ll be able to rest and enjoy it. 

He also knows that they’re taking a huge step and investment in believing this world will be at peace, by agreeing to bring a kid into all this. I love that in this moment it’s the two of them, as this unbreakable unit and as this unmatched love, ready to take on the future together. 👏🏽👏🏽😊

So the final deleted scene from this episode is one with Rick and Carol. They all split up with people they trust so Rick pairs with Carol. As they walk Rick notices Carol’s engagement ring and says, “It looks good.” And I was like, Rick there’s another woman who a ring would look real good on too. 👌

Rick goes on to tell Carol how he’s happy for her that she found a good person and the right person in all this. And it’s sweet that he’s taking time out to address this and express his fondness for Carol and Ezekiel. He personally knows how fortunate finding that someone special is, so he’s happy Carol’s experiencing some of what he’s gotten to experience. 

And Carol’s a real one cuz she tells Rick, “You too.” in regards to him finding Michonne. I seriously love that she tells Rick he found the right person for him cuz...

And Rick also was thinking in his head “facts” at the moment, cuz he just looks so proud and certain when he lifts up his head and shoulders and confidently says, “Yeah, I did.” 😋

I’m beyond here for this moment and I really wish it would’ve made the cut. It’s already nice to cement he found a good person in all this but the part I love most is “the right person”. Rick knows he is with the right person. He’s with the one. 

I also wish this scene had made the cut because one thing I had been wanting is for outside characters to acknowledge Rick and Michonne as a couple more. It really hasn’t been since 6x11 where characters really made note of Richonne. And granted it’s not like it has to be the talk of the town but still. 

And it means a lot for Carol to be the one to say this cuz Carol was in season one. She’s known Rick a long time and she knew Lori. So for Carol to be like “Rick, we both upgraded in this apocalypse” is great and it’s true. 💯😋 

I love that Rick gets to acknowledge to someone that he found the right person. He found the person he was meant for and who was meant for him. And he proudly knows it. 

Him and Carol know he’s got the baddest chick in the game. Amen. So Rick says “Yeah I did” but y’all that translates to...

This moment also reminds me of when Morales ran into Rick in season eight and was surprised to learn that Glenn had found a wife in all this. And Rick was able to acknowledge both there and now how that’s possible, because he’s living out a story where he found his soul mate in all this too. 

It’s great that he so happily and naturally expresses this, especially after the day he’d had with Michonne. Like this is coming off of the beautiful morning he’s had with her and the family fun day they spent together and so he’s especially thinking about how he’s got the right one and the best one and is proud to declare it.

And then Carol smiles and says, “Who’d have thought?” cuz it is quite a whirlwind to think one could find the love of their life in all this, especially after such a tumultuous first relationship, but for Rick that’s exactly what happened.

(Side note: I miss seeing Carol with this haircut. Hopefully she goes back to this style cuz if they’re going to take down Alpha then…they betta call Carol with the short hair 😂.)

In the part of this scene that did make the cut, Rick confides in Carol and tells her that every morning he wakes up and has this moment of wanting to walk down and kill Negan and just finish off the saviors and how in that moment it’s all he wants. I like the significance of this line because we saw what he actually did in his morning which is connect with his family. 

It shows that while he may wake up with a rage towards Negan, he instead turns his attention towards all the good in his life. He turns to Michonne, and Judith, and Carl and then he’s reminded of what’s more important than killing his enemy. His family brings him back. 😌

Rick says he thinks about everyone they’ve lost and how he has to honor them. (Although call me crazy but I low key think Abraham and Glenn would be honored to have someone kill Negan and keep him from messing with anyone else lol. 👀) And Rick says he knows it’s time to build life not take it which is exactly what he and Michonne are doing and have done. 

I appreciate that 9x03 was such a blessing, even the deleted scenes had prime Richonne content. 🙌🏽

And it’s great hearing Rick verbally confirm what we all been knew and that’s that; Rick and Michonne got the right one. 😊💯🎉
