me personally. i wouldn't have gone after all the olympians at once. you're biting off more than you can chew here. all you would need to do is take each olympian out one by one. and then convince demigods that once enough people stop believing in a diety, that diety ceases to exist. which is not a lie. and you could use the death of pan to back yourself up. sure, you'd be in it for the long haul. but chess isn't meant to be a quick game.

You!! Hey you!! Are you looking for a pair of kittens? Do you live In Or Near Oklahoma? Do you wish you could listen to purring all the time? Do you want a cat that looks like an aye-aye?

long story short, we found these two kittens at the bottom of a garbage can!! I don't like to think about how they ended up in there- but we heard them crying while on a walk, and it's very lucky they were so loud! They were scared at first, but now they NEED to be snuggled at all times. Crazy how adaptable kittens are. I'd prefer to rehome them as a pair, but I'd consider adopting them out individually if that's my only option! Please IM me if you're interested in both/either of these babies, or if you have any questions at all!!

A sea grunkles adventure where they're on the search for the fabled "Fountain of Youth." Ford only wants to study it as he has no clue if it would have any gruesome side effects to them- whether long term, short term, etc.

Searching around the forest where this supposed magical fountain is located at, the day slowly turns into evening, and they felt just about ready to call it quits as they've seen no sign of it. Just as they were about to head back to their ship, Stan ends up tripping over tree root. And without a second thought, Ford tries to grab onto Stan's jacket so he could pull him up and save him from his fall, only to be pulled with him into a very inconvenient- and somewhat wide- puddle.

Now in soaked clothes, they groaned out in both tiredness and irritation from where they were laying before they finally looked at eachother, and oop-- Both of their eyes widen as the other looks like they've shaven off half of their years all of a sudden.

The both of them got out of the puddle and were looking down at it, bewildered as to how this was the Fountain of Youth they were looking for. Only to see the puddle- slowly but surely- still, letting them see the stony fountain shell that contained the water in it's reflection.

#After they've been turned into their early 30s / late 20s versions of themselves. Stan finds out that his hearing is better again.#tho' he misses the convenience of the hearing aids shutting the world up whenever he was done with it's shit and wanted some peace and quie #Also. Stan checks if it had somehow brought back his missing kidney as well. It had not. And that's how Ford finds out about that.#Stan: “Hm... I wonder.” *checks a certain spot on his body* “Nope! Pretty sure my kidney's still gone! :)”#Ford: “EXCUSE ME WHAT????”#The idea of the Fountain of Youth being- in appearance- just a nothing burger of a puddle is just funny to me tho'.#and would probably be in-line with how the show would've portrayed it.#my thoughts #Gravity Falls #Stanley Pines #Stanford Pines

I know it has been said before, but really, what do streaming services even want?

Dead Boy Detectives didn't flop by any measure. It did perfectly fine. The numbers where there. The reception was overwhelmingly positive. It had potential, and it was successful.

But I guess that's not enough. I wonder what would be enough; overwhelming numbers aren't, innovative storytelling isn't, a preexisting fanbase isn't. So what is?

Generating new subscribers? It seems that Netflix, and other streamers, are still trying to figure out how to make infinite growth happen in an inherently finite market - audience retention does not seem to factor into their calculations at all.

I have had a Netflix subscription since 2015. I have always kept it out of nostalgic fondness if nothing else, even when the prices rose and the quality of the offered media declined.

But I'm done. I don't see the value of the service anymore, when most of what you find on there nowadays is sloppy "documentaries" and half-finished stories that will never be allowed to go anywhere. Why would I continue to pay for that?

#hankcon #detroit become human #my art #hank anderson #connor detroit #this can be read either way #i initially started this out while i was sad and i drew connor #i think that if connor were to confess first he would get rejected at the beginning by hank deflecting it awkwardly #but then i was okay while drawing and somehow it ended up kind of sweet if you look at it from another angle #so that hank is the one confessing here #but also connor is going absolutely rigid in a very soft way #i like that intepretation because you cant see connors face so you dont know what hes thinking aside from what you can take from his body #language #its either a happy piece or a sad piece if you want it so!#i like to think it gets awkward at first but then they make up later #they both have a lot to sort out about themselves! but they bring out the better in each other #and in my timeline they are intertwined enough that theyre inseperable #thats enough ramblings for now love and peace 🤞🤞
