They say the world is not complex at all .. it is the mind , our mind that makes it look so .. and what the mind observes, brings belief .. and belief is not challenged ..

World Contraception Day Campaign

Sexual intercourse has a lot of different taboos and looked down upon in many different cultures, countries and more. The goal of World Contraception Day is to raise and increase a more public understanding and the importance of sexual health. Brands that worked alongside the campaigns serving was primarily condom manufactures, medical services, non-profit organizations and NGOs. A call to action advertising and allows their to be an increase in sales along with brand awareness. Brands such as Durex India, Manforce Condoms, Skore India, World Health Organization, and more leveraged the day to be a part of a bigger conversation.

My thoughts:

I think it’s quite cool that they are able to work with different contraception companies and organization's to create these media based posts. The posts have a very light hearted, funny approach to them. I think it’s quite cool how they created these posts and have this more chill approach to them. And having the #worldcontraceptionday so people can contribute to it.

September 26 is World Contraception Day (WCD) 26 сентября - Всемирный день контрацепции. Цель Дня — снижение высокого уровня незапланированных беременностей. 26.09.2007 по инициативе ряда организаций, занимающихся вопросами репродуктивного здоровья и проблемами планирования семьи, впервые был отмечен Всемирный день контрацепции, и с тех пор он проводится ежегодно. Всемирный День контрацепции — долгосрочная кампания, направленная на всех женщин и мужчин репродуктивного возраста. Ее цель — снижение высокого уровня незапланированных беременностей (следовательно — и абортов), а главный девиз: «Contraception: It’s Your Life, it’s your responsibility», что в переводе на русский язык означает: «Контрацепция: это ваша жизнь, это ваша ответственность». Необходимо привлекать большее внимание властей и общественности к проблемам, которые возникают вследствие недостаточного полового воспитания молодежи и пренебрежения к средствам контрацепции. Осведомленность о контрацепции и репродуктивном здоровье позволит избежать незапланированной беременности, абортов и распространения заболеваний, передаваемых половым путем. Поэтому организации-инициаторы проведения Всемирного дня контрацепции исповедуют принцип — что каждая беременность должна быть желанной, и направляют свои усилия на то, чтобы максимально повысить осведомленность населения о способах и методах контрацепции, дать молодым людям возможность самостоятельно принимать информированные решения по вопросам сексуального и репродуктивного здоровья.
