Song lyric prompt: if this is what death is like, I’d embrace it again, and again, and again. + Sentry Skull +/ Drakkon
Title: blinded on rosebushes Rating: Unrated Relationships: Lord Drakkon & World of the Coinless Eugene Skullovitch; Jason Scott & Lord Drakkon; Jason Scott & Lauren Shiba & Kimberly Hart; Zack Taylor/Trini; Billy Cranston & World of the Coinless Farkas Bulkmeier; Kimberly Hart & Jen Scotts. Characters: Lord Drakkon; World of the Coinless Eugene Skullovitch; White Tiger Power Coin; Green Dragon Power Coin; The Emissaries; Orange Power Coin; Prime Universe Rangers; World of the Coinless Farkas Bulkmeier; Grid Ghosts. Additional Tags: Shattered Grid - Alternate Universe; Incidentally Immortal! Skull; Accidental Necromancer!Drakkon; Haunting; Gentle Stalking; Implied/Referenced Sexual Assault; Implied/Referenced Blood and Violence; Drakkon Quite Literally Being Followed By His Mistakes Like Some Stephen King From the Sewers Devil Level Shit; Grown Men Crying; Body Horror. Summary:
It is a very stupid thing that Drakkon believed in while still learning from Rita so that he might one day rule the galaxy with his own leanings and iron fist: that there were only two flavors and types of magic. Light or Good, Dark or Evil. Magic is a wide and varied spectrum, not tremendously unlike species and genus of animal and birds, fish, bugs, plants, flowers, gems. And he never did do a very good job of locking up the books he'd learned from, or fully going scorched earth with what he'd stolen from others he'd killed. So when he killed Skullovitch, whose word was true and sure about his belief that the Rangers would be his end, Drakkon did not expect to keep seeing him after his body fell to the ground in dead weight and loss. Coming back into the perfect world he'd built just to watch him like a coyote on the dunes watches another animal with a limp from a distance. No noise, no greeting, no adoration like all others in the world when hazel eyes met silver; just meeting him head on before Drakkon blinked and he was gone again until another time. Really, it was his own fault, given that he didn't know how to follow the rules: Green does not and cannot kill Orange. At least, not with any sort of finality or permanence.

Send me a song lyric and I’ll make a fake wip summary for it!
~Underneath your clothes//There's an endless story, There's the Man I Chose//There's my territory~ + Cosmic or World of the Coinless; Ollie/Aiyon
Title: Once a Liar, Always a Liar
Rating: Explicit
Relationships: Ollie Akana/Aiyon, Javier “Javi” Garcia/Amelia Jones
Characters: Ollie Akana, Aiyon, Javier “Javi” Garcia, Amelia Jones, Lord Zedd
Additional Tags: Extremely Dubious Consent, Manipulation, Angst, Sex, Hurt No Comfort, Alternate Universe: Slight Canon Divergence
Summary: Aiyon hadn’t considered their plan would fail again. His plan, failing, once more. Mucus and Slyther were captured, they had tattled, and Ollie had come looking for him.
But Aiyon didn’t know that. He was setting up his cafù once more, something Amelia had suggested, to vent out his emotions, when a boy in a black jacket and a blue shirt dropped by, and ordered a flargon cake.
“Sorry, we’re still clo— OLLIE?!”
Ollie had smiled ever so sweetly, and Aiyon had melted, he’d run to hug him, and feeling Ollie’s arms wrapping around him felt like the best feeling in the world.
He didn’t know the things Ollie had in his mind. He should’ve read his mind when he had the chance.
He didn’t know he’d never get another one.

You know it sucks that the comics never went into the multiverse stuff because we could have had it all. I’m thinking about a whole pitch I wrote about essentially Sorcerer Supreme Billy that I sent in asks years ago. Man.
Yeah, the multiverse concept definitely got dropped after the first couple years (outside of recurring cases like the Coinless world and the already established alternate universes from the show, obviously). Which is odd considering how Drakkon and Ranger Slayer are by far Boom's most successful creations; you'd think they would milk the multiverse concept more to try and recreate their popularity. Amy's upcoming story is arguably the first story in a long time to be explicitly described as being an alternate take on the established canon; aka most likely set in a different universe

Lord Drakkon[1] was a supervillain, an Evil Power Ranger who controlled the Black Dragon and battles the Power Rangers as the primary antagonist during the Shattered Grid event of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers comic books by Boom! Studios.
Lord Drakkon is a tyrannical, older version of Tommy Oliver who hails from an alternate reality where he reigned over a technologically-advanced, dystopian Angel Grove as its oppressive ruler with his army of Ranger Sentries.
Biography
Diverging Path
Lord Drakkon's earlier history follows the same events as the Tommy Oliver from the prime continuity up until his climatic final battle against the Red Ranger of his timeline, Jason Lee Scott. In this pivotal event, Tommy was freed from Rita's curse, but instead of allying with Zordon and his Rangers, he fled, wandering from city to city while evading pursuit from the Power Rangers. Search Party
Eventually, Tommy is intercepted by Rita who persuades him to her cause with tales of a young man named Drakkon, in whom she saw potential as he forged his legacy under her guidance. Tommy, intrigued, left with Rita and continued to serve her. Believing Rita meant to better the world through conquest, Tommy aided Rita in taking over the Earth, one city at a time. As their conquest continued, much of Earth's population began to embrace Rita's rule.
Eventually, Tommy led Rita's forces into one final battle against Zordon's last battalion of Rangers and Zords just as Zordon was on the verge of creating a new Power Ranger more powerful than any before. Tommy breached the Command Center as Jason was being infused with this new power, interrupting the process before it could finish. The two engaged in one final battle that Tommy ultimately won. Tommy then stole the new power for himself, and emerged from the Command Center clutching Jason's shattered helmet.
Tommy and his forces then defeated the Power Rangers, destroyed their Zords, and successfully conquered the Earth in Rita's name. However, immediately after the Rangers were vanquished and Rita taught him her spells, such as brainwashing, the sorceress (who was too trusting of her subordinates, unlike her counterpart) was met with an unforeseen outcome, namely Tommy becoming so corrupted that he sought to control the world by himself. While vowing to continue Rita's work, Tommy killed her; thus removing her as a potential obstacle, and gained the loyalty of Finster, who he turned into the cyborg Finster 5, using Alpha 5's body parts.
Now rechristened Lord Drakkon, Tommy drew upon the Power Coin energies to create Ranger Sentries, each serving a specific role in his army. However, he lacked Billy's coin, as Trini hid it away. The former Rangers and those who were against Tommy's rule formed the resistance group The Coinless. Unknown to Drakkon, Skull had infiltrated his army as a Tyrannosaurus sentry.
Ever since the death of Billy and Matthew Cook by Drakkon’s regime, Kimberly Ann Hart began her solo quest for vengeance against the dark lord Ranger. However, Drakkon managed to brainwash her with one of Rita’s brainwashing spells quickly, turning her into his brainwashed Ranger Slayer.
Defeat and Capture
ïżŒLord Drakkon loses his powers.Lord Drakkon was overconfident after defeating The Coinless and capturing his alternate self along with Billy and the alternate Trini. However, Billy and Trini collaborated a plan to use his alternate timeline counterpart's Power Coin and created an energy burst that zapped both Drakkon and his Ranger Sentries by modifying the teleportation function. The energy blast released from the morpher during this tactic broke Drakkon's power coin, leaving Drakkon in a brief state of shock and insecurity at the loss of his power. He then tries to goad his counterpart, speaking of how friendship is weakness and Tommy's friends will eventually fail him when he needs them most. Tommy refuses to listen and battles Drakkon. After Tommy's friends find him, rather than face defeat, Drakkon jumps off a cliff to what Tommy believes is his death.
But Drakkon survives and the energy of the portal returning the Power Rangers home tugs him into their universe, where he wakes up in a mountainous region somewhere and is suddenly captured by soldiers of the US Government.
ïżŒBilly's curiosity is rewarded with a startling discovery...In Issue 23, it is revealed that Drakkon was apprehended by the soldiers to a special underground holding cell in Grace Sterling's Promethea complex. Here, he was kept on energy restraints and isolated from the outside world with armed guards outside keeping anyone from gaining entry. That is, until he got an unexpected visit from one of the people who defeated him, Billy Cranston. Billy teleported inside out of curiosity to find out why the Promethea facility's power substation was only at half of its total output and what there would require so much energy to maintain, only to come face to face with Drakkon in his cell.
He then proceeds to taunt Billy, who declares that he is not afraid of Drakkon. Grace later on reveals that she had captured the rogue former dictator, and that in the months of his captivity by Promethea that he took a perverse pleasure in regailing the former red ranger with the details what he'd done in his native timeline, the rangers he'd slaughtered, and more. Later, Saba came to execute the madman, but failed, and Drakkon then ripped Saba's head off, using the remains of the weapon along with an incantation he presumably learned from his dimension's Rita to create a portal to escape his prison.
Shattered Grid
You may know me as Tommy Oliver. You may know me as the Green Ranger. But I’m not the man you know. I am a man from a different reality. I conquered my Earth, and became someone infinitely more powerful. I am Lord Drakkon. Now I’m coming back to this world to conquer the Power Rangers here and everywhere else, wherever and whenever they’re hiding. And that’s... just the beginning.

COMIC PREVIEW - Power Rangers Ranger Slayer #1
On Wednesday, July 22nd, POWER RANGERS RANGER SLAYER #1 will be released from Boom Studios.
The Ranger Slayer – AKA Kimberly Hart, the Pink Mighty Morphin Power Ranger from the alternate universe once ruled by Lord Dakkon – returns home and nothing is like she expected. In a world that only knows her as a villain, can Kimberly show her universe that she’s become a hero
and is that even the right thing to do? Confronted by a terrifying new version of an old enemy, and with her home in chaos, Kimberly will make a stunning choice that no Power Rangers fan can miss. This issue is also a perfect jumping on point for new readers – and sets the stage for the next Power Rangers epic!
Host Eric (@trekkieb47) had a chance to read the issue in advance and shares his review:
“Ranger Slayer #1 is a unique one shot for Power Rangers. It continues the story of Kim, the Ranger Slayer, from her last appearance heading home through the Master Arch as seen at the end of MMPR Issue 50. Ranger Slayer #1 is not only continuing that journey for the character, but sets up the upcoming 3-issue miniseries “Drakkon New Dawn”.
For such a pivotal comic, not only does it have to bridge that gap, but also serve as a self contained story. Does it succeed? In my opinion
 yes and no.
The world of the Coinless is six months out from Drakkon’s disappearance in Shattered Grid. The power vacuum has been filled by an old enemy of the Power Rangers (Scorpina – she’s on the cover
), consistent with their last appearance in the comics and even through HyperRPG’s Power Rangers Hyperforce. As always, I won’t spoil the issue in this review, but I enjoyed the interactions with the Coinless and Kim becoming a reluctant leader. That’s consistent with how she felt during Beyond the Grid and it’s nice to see here.
There are also plenty of callbacks to events in Shattered Grid, but it may get confusing for casual readers considering how that aarc ended. Even as a diehard reader of the comics, I had to go back and reread certain events to make sure I had the timeline straight. I was also slightly disappointed of the final resolution in the one shot. There’s a trend I am starting to see throughout the past year of Power Rangers comics that is becoming slightly tired, but I am willing to see where the new status quo takes readers for Drakkon New Dawn.
Dan Mora returns to Power Rangers for this one-shot, and the art is the highlight of this issue. Mora takes a standard 9-grid comic layout approach to Ranger Slayer #1 and it just works. The art reminds me of Hendry Prasetya’s early run during MMPR, which is fitting since that’s where we saw the Coinless world for the first time. The sketchy nature of the inks make the World of the Coinless feel dirty and war-torn, appropriate for the tone of the issue.
Overall, this is still a crucial issue for the upcoming mini-series. I look forward to more of Ranger Slayer’s journey in the coming months.”

Shattered Grid in the Powerverse
This Drakkon comes from a dark future timeline from Universe 18 (same as 9 only Tommy survived Drakkon’s attempt on his life) Three Phases Phase 1- One day Billy and Lewis are working in the command center when an alternate version of the Boom Rangers teleports in. Tommy is still with them. They were forced to teleport to escape Drakkon. The MMPR rangers are called in and they swap info. Drakkon and an army of Sentries arrive in the city. Lewis calls some friends and the Morphing Masters Rangers (MMPR), Boom Rangers, Lewis, Rail Warriors, Shinobi Strike, Beast Might, Shooting Star Squadron Rangers all arrive to help. The ranger teams face off against the Sentries to keep them from attacking the civilians while the MMPR and Boom Rangers and Lewis fight Drakkon and his backup. The Psycho Rangers (RBYBPG) The Psychos are defeated and grow into two giants (RBYBP merged and Green’s monster form) The Morphing Master Megazord and DrillRex Megazord are called in to fight them. After beating the merged Psycho they split into five monster forms. The sixth Rangers join the fight in their megazords (Construction Rail Megazord, Rodeo Megazord, TriBeast Megazord, Starlight Megazord) When Green is defeated he threatens to explode sending radiation all over the city but Lewis contains it using the power of the Solar Streak Megazord. Drakkon is soon forced to withdraw with his army but not before threatening to return for his revenge. Phase 2- Drakkon manages to steal morphers from every team (MMPR- Ninja Steel) and combines them into his own gaining nearly unlimited power. He returns to the PV and demands a rematch with Lewis who he blames for his previous loss. Lewis and Cody (PR 4Z) answer the call but not before Cody calls some friends. After a quick battle in which Drakkon wipes the floor with the two he puts up a mystic barrier to have an one on one battle with Lewis which ends with him stabbing and impaling him. At that moment the Riders arrive (Deca through Hybrid) They shatter the barrier and rescue Lewis taking turns using medical powers to heal and stabilize him while the others distract Drakkon by negating his powers (Mystic Force vs Mystic, Time force/Turbo vs Racer etc) Once Lewis is stable they all switch to their final forms and battle Drakkon. As they do the Morphing Grid finishes healing Lewis temporarily super charging him allowing him to throw a blast of power at Drakkon distracting him allowing the Riders to unleash a series of finishing moves forcing Drakkon to demorph. As he prepares to morph again Racer steals his coin and gives it to Lewis who breaks it. Drakkon falls back to his world where Finster 5 reveals that because of all the time he spent morphed his body internalized most of the power meaning that all Finster has to do is create a new coin and he can morph again. Back at the command center Billy and Cody throw the broken coin into the grid where the power is absorbed and spread out. Phase 3- Drakkon has his forces find and bring him the corpse of Prince Dex who did not survive his battle with Dreggon’s forces. Using his belt he gains the power of a Rider in addition to his own powers. He returns to the Powerverse to gain his revenge. Again he is confronted by Lewis and Cody however this time the Grid itself joins them. Outraged and disgusted by his desecration of the powers, turning what once brought life into a bringer of death the Grid shatters his new belt and zaps him with bolts stripping away his stolen powers until he has nothing left but his original Green powers. Lewis and Cody wipe the floor with him demorphing him. The Grid strips away his final power before making sure he can never morph again before returning him to his world where he is put on trial and executed for crimes against humanity. Weeks later the MMPR rangers, Lewis, and Cody travel to the world of the coinless to see how things are going. They meet Trini who at this point is the only ranger left (Slayer had left to atone for her actions by traveling the multiverse). They realize that the Zeo Crystal is still hidden on the moon in this timeline and bring it to Earth. The energy from it summons Trey from Triforia who splits it into five sub crystals and one larger crystal. The five sub crystals are used to create a new team of Power Rangers, Power Rangers Zeo. And the remaining crystal is used as a power source for the rebuilding planet. Using the Super Zeo Zords this new team defends a world coming back from the brink. It’s Morphing Time! Zeo Ranger Power! Trini- Zeo Ranger V Red! Rocky- Zeo Ranger IV Green! Kat- Zeo Ranger III Blue! Adam- Zeo Ranger II Yellow! Aisha- Zeo Ranger I Pink! Trey- Gold Ranger A new team of Rangers rises from the ashes to protect the world from Finster 5 and any who seek to take advantage of the chaos. Months later Kimberly returns, truly free from Drakkon’s hold she seeks out Ninjor’s temple to find redemption. There she trains with his spirit eventually becoming a warrior mage tasked with protecting all that is good. (Think Dulcea) Powerverse

headcanon asks: World of the Coinless: Bulk/Kim; Y, W, V, F
WORLD OF THE COINLESS WORLD OF THE COINLESS :D
Lezzgo!!
Y - Yellow or Yarrow
It's an AU, but it's still world of the Coinless. My favorite for anyone from this universe would be the "The pain of every wound your soulmate bears is inflicted on you" AU. And since back in highschool, Bulk and Kim weren't as close, they never realised they were soulmates. Even when Kim was a ranger, she got injured frequently, as did Bulk, being a punk who got into trouble every day anyway, but after shit goes down, with Drakkon coming to power, and they're both in the ranks of the Coinless, everyone's getting injured one way or the other, and the pain is felt by the soulmates. BUT it's when Kim and Bulk find themselves on a joint mission together, and end up fleeing when a handful of sentries discover them trying to steal ration from the granary, and Bulk watches as Kim gets shot in the left arm, and she watches as Bulk clutches his unharmed arm in pain, and doubles over, while she's bleeding out. That's when they realise. And that becomes even more of a reason to try and keep themselves safe, so that their soulmate doesn't have to bear their pain.
W - Wingfic AU
I think for a Wingfic AU, we can have three categories, Dark angels, Light angels, and humans. This is still based off of the world of the coinless, so the "Light" Angels would be the Sentries, and the "Dark" ones being the coinless, because Drakkon, leader of the Light Angels, would not like to be 'called' a 'dark' angel, despite their wings being dark, and bat-like. The wings develop themselves, when a human chooses a side, the Coinless have wings that are lighter, colorful, and glow. Kim and Bulk both chose to be with the Coinless, but when Kim is under mind control, her pink wings start fading, and slowly falling off, instead of turning into ones similar to other sentries. When she regains her memory, her wings are damaged beyond repair, but slowly, they start recovering. It's going to be a long time till they're back to their full glory, but they're getting better. Bulk loves them no matter what.
V - Virginity
Kim hadn't been a virgin the first time the two of them did stuff. She was pretty experienced, sometimes with friends, sometimes with random one night stands, one Matthew cook, and a line of exes. And she's quite proud of her record. When Bulk nervously explained that he was afraid of being mocked at, and pretty much nervous as heck about himself, which more or less accounted to him being a virgin, never having done things with anyone, she said she'd take up the challenge. He'd warned her, and she'd said she could take anything. She hadn't even imagined what Bulk's size would be, though, and when she finally saw it, a part of her realised she miiiight. have over committed— BUT for someone like Kim, she could take anything. She did. She was the only one who ever could :D
F - Fantasies/Frottage (self-explanatory)
Strip tease? Strip tease. Kim hadn't actually imagined how much it would turn her on. Bulk has some... extra fat on his belly, and she likes watching it jiggle when he's stripping for her, with music playing in the background. Music in itself is quite a treat for anyone in the world of the coinless, and post Drakkon, when Kim's the ruler, she gets Adam and Skull to record her a couple of sexy salsa tunes for Bulk, and while the two of them are trying not to giggle their way through it, they don't wanna imagine how it'd go. Does she tell them how it went? Maybe not the guys, but Trini gets information to the point where she's finds herself yelling "TMI KIM, TMI"

Power Ranger Sentries Brings Amazing New Designs of the Classic Rangers
By Staff Reports
BOOM! Studios and Saban Brands are proud to debut three new Power Rangers Sentries in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers #13, the latest issue of their best-selling comic book series. The issue went on sale March 15 in comic book shops.
Following the debut of the Mastodon Sentries in issue #11, this issue features the Tyrannosaurus Sentries, Sabertooth Sentries, and Pterodactyl Sentries, troopers molded after the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and under the command of Lord Drakkon on an alternate timeline Earth. In the story, Tommy Oliver and Billy Cranston have been transported to that universe, in which Lord Drakkon—the Tommy Oliver of this timeline—and Rita Repulsa have conquered the planet. In eluding capture by the Sentries and trying to find their way back to their own world, the pair find allies with an underground resistance called The Coinless.

I confess... I too had to par this down. I've got too many tabs open in my brain but suffice it to say here they be; take your pick!
An Outsider Hiding Within – (Quad Life AU) Prime Universe Billy Cranston and Matthew Cook, eventual Coinless/Red Sentry Eugene Skullovitch. Secret crushes, a hidden Ranger, and an eventual throuple.
Utopia – (Drakkon’s Perfect Universe) Coinless Tommy Oliver aka Drakkon masquerading as a teenager, Prime Universe Jason Scott. A self-proclaimed god learns how to be human.
Mind Games – Lord Drakkon, Coinless Jason Scott (Red, Jamie), Ranger Slayer, Coinless Eugene Skullovitch, Prime Universe Tommy Oliver, Prime Universe Jason Scott, Prime Universe Billy Cranston. Alternate Personalities, second chances, and unexpected discoveries. (NO I HAVEN'T FORGOT THIS!)
Misunderstandings – Lord Drakkon (David), Coinless Jason Scott (Jamie), Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott, Ranger Slayer, Coinless Eugene Skullovitch, Prime Billy Cranston. Wild, kinky sex, lust, and a whole lotta misunderstandings
Shameless smut with no real plot.
Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes – Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott, World of the Coinless Jason Scott (Red sometimes, Jamie others). More excuses for Tommy to be an obsessive horny animal, Jason, Red, and Jamie are ALL in the cross hairs.
Quad Life AU – Lord Drakkon (Coinless Tommy Oliver, David), Coinless Jason Scott (Red, Jamie), Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott, Prime Kimberly Hart, Prime Farkas Bulkmeir, Prime Billy Cranston, Prime Matthew Cook, Coinless/Red Sentry Eugene Skullovitch
Sentinel Event – (Set in the Coinless Universe) Tommy Oliver, Jason Scott, Billy Cranston, Kimberly Hart, Trini Kwan, Zack Taylor, Farkas Bulkmeier, Eugene Skullovitch. The true decision that changed everything and eventually separated the Coinless and Prime Worlds.
An Odd Set of Events/I Wouldn’t Change a Thing – Lord Drakkon, Coinless Jason Scott (Red). Landing in the Prime Universe and learning the truth about themselves and each other

Gift of Kismet – Drakkon, Red, Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott. Worlds collide and the start of our quad begins

Going to the Chapel/Gonna Get Busted – Drakkon, Red, Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott
Wedding bells ringing and secret relationships come to light
Breaking the Shell – Drakkon, Red, Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott. The mysterious CJ (Coinless Jason) comes to the surface and has a decision to make.
A Momentous Occasion – Drakkon, Red, Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott, Prime Billy Cranston, Prime Matthew Cook, Coinless/Red Sentry Eugene Skullovitch. It’s a holiday celebration with our quad and the throuple
.
Truth in Flowers (working title) – Drakkon (David), Red (Jamie), Prime Tommy Oliver, Prime Jason Scott, Prime Farkas Bulkmeier, Prime Kimberly Hart. Pen pals, a needed parental figure, and coming face to face
again

WIP Ask Game
Tagged by @eriquin, thanks!
-> post all of the wip projects you have ( 😬 )
-> let people send asks with a title, and either share a snippet or share something about the story
-> tag as many people as there are wip projects
Honestly, it's slightly better now than before. Gonna leave out the pile of files that are basically 1-2 lines of idea and just include the stuff in my 'active' WIP folder, with the (mostly accurate) file names:
0 - Tales of the Outer Planes
A Brother is Born for Adversity
MFAU 1 - Emergence
MFAU 2 - Ascendant
MFAU 3 - Oblation
MFAU 4 - Fragments
pick up every stitch
Pinocchio K
Til I Lose My Breath
Yeah, that's about the number I figured. Let's get to tagging:

@hereforanepilogue @gothichimbo @poemsingreenink @anuwubis
