Porsha Williams and Dennis McKinley had an emotional therapy session on Sunday’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as he finally confessed to what drove him to sleep with another woman while Williams was pregnant with their only child.

The couple — who have since reconciled but at the time of filming, were living apart and splitting time with their daughter Pilar “PJ” Jhena, now 8 months — came together for a counseling session with Dr. Sherry Blake.

One of the looming questions for fans has been why McKinley cheated on the first place, as the pair appeared to be head-over-heels in love on the show.

McKinley, 43, answered that question in therapy, admitting that he strayed outside his relationship because he was sexually turned off by Williams during her pregnancy and afterward, as she battled postpartum depression.

“We had a rough pregnancy, all the way from start to finish,” McKinley said. “Sex during pregnancy, it’s nothing what a man wants to do … and after PJ got here, postpartum was very real. We cried together like every night. That’s not a good enough why, but that’s the why.”

“It was a poor decision and it was a selfish decision,” McKinley continued. “I made a mistake, I cheated. … I’ve done my best to let Porsha know that I love her and I’m remorseful and apologetic. The priority for me is the baby.”

That didn’t smooth things over with Williams. She began her session by stressing that what McKinley did was “not a mistake.”

“A mistake, to me, is taking the wrong exit. You don’t make a mistake and set up with someone and cheat,” said Williams, 38. “That’s not where he need to be in order for me to heal and move forward. He needs to be in a place in my eyes where he’s taking full accountability for his actions, period. No matter how it looks and feels. It insults me when he says mistake.”

She then pointed out that she and McKinley had been intimate even when she was pregnant.

“All the rough stuff that he said that I went through, he was literally by my side,” shared Williams, who had learned of McKinely’s infidelity when Pilar Jhena was only 3 months old. “And that’s one of the things that was really difficult.”

“I’m terribly disappointed and I’m hurt,” she said.

Regardless of why McKinley strayed, Williams said she needed to decide what was next for their family.

“It’s just been really hard,” Williams told McKinley. “All these choices that I’ve had to make, I’ve been having to be strong because we have a daughter. She needs to know that at the end of the day, if Dad is here, he wants to be here. He’s going to be faithful, he’s going to be great to her mom, he’s going to be great to her.”

Doing it for her daughter meant that Williams had to confront the complicated emotions she was feeling, especially the fact that she loved McKinley even though he had betrayed her.

“I haven’t wanted to tell him that because I feel like he didn’t deserve to hear that,” Williams told Dr. Sherry, turning to McKinley. “I felt like I was giving you something, but I have to let that go about giving you something. I have to let that go about, ‘Oh, he’s going to know I forgave him so now he won’t be sorry anymore. ‘F– that.’ ”

“At the end of the day, this is a serious situation,” Williams said. “Our daughter is growing up by leaps and bounds every single day. If we’re going to be together for her, we’re going to have to start working on it. … If you’re going to live how you want to live because that’s just what your loins want, we can move on with our co-parent life. But if you are really trying to make a commitment over here, that’s what I want to know from your heart.”

McKinley assured Williams that he was committed to their relationship.

“I want us to be together and that is not a co-parent situation. I apologize again,” he said to Williams, before addressing Dr. Sherry. “I hope can get to a place where we start to communicate more and she can give me another chance.”

That’s what Williams wanted to hear. “I am pissed but through all the hurt and the pain, I realize I do want my family,” she told McKinley. “It’s a work in progress. I can’t just like, start trusting you over night. It’s not going to work like that … I’m going to try to do it.”

“Honestly, I do not know how long it’s going to take me to forgive Dennis because if we get back together, it has to be real,” she told audiences. “Because what I’m not going to do is have my daughter be in a house with fake love. Whether it takes six months, whether it takes a year, I’m going to take my time.”

Their session ended with a hug. McKinley and Williams even rode off together in the same car (though she said he wasn’t allowed to stay over).

Since filming that scene, Williams and McKinley have reconciled. They’re even planning again on walking down the aisle.

“We are re-engaged,” said Williams during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen this month.

Asked by Cohen if she trusts McKinley now, Williams said the two are “still working it out.”

“We’re working on our family. It takes time,” Williams said. “I love him and he loves me and we’re doing what’s best for our family. That’s really all you can do.”

“You have to have trust,” she added, stressing that they were “absolutely” working to rebuild that and planning on getting married next year.

This will be Williams’ second marriage. She was previously wed to former NFL star Kordell Stewart, from whom she split in 2013.

Williams and McKinley dated for a year before getting engaged last September, just two months after Williams learned she was pregnant with their daughter.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

Back in June, it was reported "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams and her fiance Dennis McKinley had called off their engagement.

After plenty of drama involving cheating accusations (which Dennis still denies), spending Holidays apart and unfollowing just to re-follow each other, it looks like PJ's parents have patched things up.

Porsha and Dennis are spending the Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas and they're clearly BACK ON. Public makeouts while half naked in the (pool) club are always a sign of...something.  The now on-again couple turned up with "RHOA" friend-of-the-show Shamea Morton and her husband Gerald Mwangi.

  "Me and mine vs You and yours!," the Hot Dog King captioned a photo of himself and his future wife. You'll notice, he dropped the wedding ring emoji. Does this mean they're going to tie the knot in Vegas? Sure looks like it.

Dennis responded, "In the morning." So yeah, looks like they're about to make it official.

Another day, another bit of speculation surrounding Porsha Williams’ relationship. The RHOA star who’s been rumored to be broken up with her fiancé was spotted in Hollywood, Florida for a little rest and relaxation with her daughter.

Porsha and Pilar Jhena posed poolside at the Costa Hollywood Beach Resort for some super precious mommy-daughter photos but if you look on Porsha’s left hand, something is noticeably missing.

Porsha isn’t wearing the engagement ring her Hot Dog slingin’ sweetie Dennis McKinley gave her. This comes amid rumors that they broke up after he allegedly cheated and as Dennis pursues legal action against a blogger helping to spread the gossip. 

That’s not all however, fans have noticed that Porsha (ONCE AGAIN) unfollowed her fiance on Instagram. The first time she was joined in unfollowing him by her mother and her sister before she changed her mine and refollowed him on the social site.

Fans are now flooding Porsha with questions about her relationship, but so far she’s staying silent.

Well, something has happened, and Porsha claims she’s done done. With what exactly? She didn’t specify. However, her cryptic Instagram messages could possibly be aimed at her daughter’s father and fiancé. First, she shared two pictures of herself with the caption, “’Sorry ASS’ [clown emoji] Done. #Unbreakable #2020Vision.”

You’ll notice, she cropped her engagement ring in the flicks. However, she posted up more pictures with her new bestie/"Real Houswives of Atlanta" co-star Tanya while they were shooting the "RHOA After Show" and you can see the ring:

A big storyline for Porsha this season has been about Dennis coming clean about cheating on Porsha while she was pregnant with their daughter Pilar Jhena. They did therapy together to work through their issues and Dennis sat down with Porsha's mom and sister to issue what seemed like a genuine apologly. Dennis' mom was also in the mix. After their emotional sitdown, Porsha said she was ready to try and work on "saving their family," but these new cheating rumors may have put on a halt on that. 

As for those new cheating rumors...

A source told RadarOnline Dennis was allegedly spotted with four women at Atlanta's Majestic diner around 4AM on Saturday, January 4th.

“He came in with four beautiful women. Porsha was not with him. Dennis was the only man in the group and all of the women were flirting with him.

The source claimed there was a woman wearing black who was resting her head on his shoulder.

“The girl in black had her head on his shoulder. It was like he was on a date with all of them.”

It’s alleged Dennis met one of the women after he “slid in her DMs." Hmph.

“They all left in a black Escalade. There was a driver, Dennis wasn’t driving.”

Afterwards, Dennis hopped on IG Stories and posted, "I can't eat?"

Well you can, but not with four women at wee hours in the morning when you're supposedly trying to "save your family" after admitting to cheating on your pregnant fianceé.

Last Sunday, Porsha appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Tanya and she was asked if she trusts Dennis.

“You know we're working on our relationship," Porsha said. 

"Do you trust him?," host Andy Cohen asked.

"Huh?" she responded.

She then asked viewers to pray for them.

"I don’t know. It's the blogs, you know, he was out. I don’t know," she said. "Can y’all just continue to comment and speculate, and let me just figure out my life? I’m figuring out my life.”

When asked if they had words with Dennis about the new cheating allegations, she responded, "Umm...I'm figuring it out."

Welp.

After Wendy Williams broke "news" on her daytime talk show that "RHOA" star Nene Leakes was quitting the show (again) and had some big secret, Nene got on camera for her YouTube series to share her side of the story. You'll recall, after Wendy shared the text Nene sent her, the reality star's rep issued a statement saying Nene was just "venting" to Wendy and that she had no plans on quitting "RHOA." Also, Nene hopped on Twitter and Instagram to respond to Wendy's messy antics. In case you missed, check it out HERE.

"The most I can say - or even want to say is - Wendy and I are friends. I have vented to her on many occasions. That particular day I did not vent to her, I just sent her one text and she went out on the couch and started talking."

She said she thinks personal, private conversations "should stay private" and anybody should be able to vent to a friend without that person telling the world. 

"I was not a cool thing," she shared while looking sad. "She & I have since talked about it. We talked about it, we texted about it. I just want to move on from it. Hopefully that is behind me. I just want to move on. When stuff like that happens, it really hurts because it's like, you don't know if you can trust anybody."
