The Return to Freddy’s Rewritten: Chapter 7
>Chapter 7: Franky's Prime
Entering the late 1970-80s, Goldie's ParaDiner has been completely revamped into a more theatrical, showbiz-looking pizzeria with a new set of characters after its recent decline in its last year. In addition to the humanoid animatronic named Frankburt and the pink cat being called Kitty FazCat, Mr. Fredbear ordered three more animatronic characters from Fazbear INC that would soon be introduced into the restaurant to provide variety for the sake of appealing to a wider audience. These new animatronics were a dark grey rabbit accompanied with a green bowtie and cake prop named Buster, a reddish-brown wolf featuring an orange bowtie named Saber, and a yellowish-tan bunny holding up eating utensils named Beatrice.
With the "Fredbear & Friends" TV Showbiz idea Mr. Fredbear suggested to his employees, they agreed to do at least one episode per year as a yearly tradition, not wanting to waste the Showbiz animatronics and throwing them out. However, they renamed it as "Freddy & Friends" as they're prohibited from using Fredbear and Spring Bonnie in the show. And because of the fact that 3 of the animatronics from the Showbiz lineup are unavailable as they're locked away in the basement, Mr. Fredbear had no other choice but to place yet another order to Fazbear INC for another set for Showbiz animatronics, having them be fitted with a pirate theme and aesthetic.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Brody, the middle child in the Takaliken family, is having his 9th birthday at Frankburt's Pizza with his two brothers and his mother Lynda. However, he wasn't particularly excited about it and didn't want to go there as he was afraid of the animatronics and did not wish to go near them. Brody is especially afraid of the main attraction himself, Frankburt, whose design and the way he jerks and jolts about makes Brody really terrified of him, not wanting to get near the animatronic. He clinged onto Lynda's arm tightly while whimpering in a frightened manner.
"Alright Brody," Lynda expressed with a quick yawn before rising to her feet, with Brody still clinging onto her arm. "Let's take you to the Play Area. Charles, watch your little brother."
Charles, who is entering his pre-teen years, looked up to Lynda and nodded. "Okay, mom," he said, turning his attention towards Jackson who was eating his pizza. Still thinking about the wooden doll he still has, he decided to initiate a conversation with Jackson about it and see what he thinks. "Hey, Jackson? You know that doll I got for Christmas all those years back, after that accident?" he inquired.
Jackson looked up and nodded in response to Charles' question while eating. "Mhmm," he affirmed, tilting his head to the side and listening intently to what Charles had to say. "I remember it. What about it?"
Charles took a brief pause for a moment before speaking once more, recollecting his thoughts. "Well, t-that doll..." he began, his tone soft and somewhat uncertain, "it was originally dad's doll and... he was the one that gave the doll to me." he explained to Jackson.
Jackson abruptly glanced upwards in surprise, his eyes widened and his mouth partially full with pizza he was eating moments before. "It was?" he echoed, filled with a sense of wonder.
Charles silently nodded in affirmation, confirming the doll's origins. "That's what mom told Uncle Vince when he visited us at home. Dad named this doll 'WoodBuddy'," he added, his voice being reflective as he spoke. Jackson becomes intrigued as he continues listening to Charles speak about the wooden doll and its purpose.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Meanwhile, Lynda walked into the Play Area with Brody still clinged onto her arm. Amidst the various changes within the restaurant, the Play Area looks about the same as Brody remembered it from before the restaurant's revamp, with the notable differences being the posters on the walls and the old drawings with the yellow bear and bunny duo on them were thrown out and replaced. However one notable addition stuck out to Brody - the bunny animatronic Beatrice was implemented into the room as well.
"See, darling? It's just a bunny that won't hurt you. It's adorable," Lynda reassured him with another yawn, taking Brody to a confetti covered table. Brody looked up at the large animatronic as it speaks in a loud and hoggish tone, possessing a very non-ending appetite personality.
"M-Mom...?" he whispered in a trembling tone, shifting his gaze away from the towering bunny and turning his head to see his mother resting her head gently on the table, momentarily dozing off as soft snores escaped from her mouth. Not knowing what to do now, Brody went over to the ladder tower and climbed on top of the structure to sit down and take a momentary break. There, perched upon the tower, he began contemplating in solitude, reflecting on many things in his mind. Having witnessed the traumatic event before the restaurant's revamp, Brody have never actually spoke up to Lynda or either of his siblings about what really happened to Gron due to his inability to speak and only could mumble out vague mumbling and incoherent words before learning how to speak properly as he grew up. He continued watching Beatrice perform with jerky movements upon the small stage at a safe distance and sighed a silent exhale from his lips.
"Hello there!" An unexpected voice is heard, making Brody's heart leap into his throat as he jumps and almost loses his balance on the tower. He frantically darted his eyes around, trying to figure where the source of the voice was coming from until his gaze lands down from the tower to see a girl with long dark brown hair wearing a bright pink and red sweater standing below the structure, looking to be the same age as him looking back up at him. "How's it going up there?" the girl spoke again with a bright smile and friendly voice, her brown eyes meeting Brody's emerald eyes.
Brody, looking below to the girl, silently responded back with just a simple wave, his hand moving back and forth. The girl tilted her head in confusion to the silent tone Brody is giving her. "Is everything alright? You want some company up there?" she asked, grabbing hold of the ladder's bars and started climbing towards the top. Once on the top, she sat down across from Brody and smiled brightly.
"I'm Summer! Nice to meet you...?" her voice trailed off as she listens intently for what Brody has to say.
Brody stayed silent for a few seconds before his voice broke through while his gaze is fixated downward. "B-Brody," he murmured, his voice just above a whisper as he uttered his name.
"Brody? That's a cool name," Summer replied happily. Brody's eyes shifted up towards Summer as she responded back.
"Really..?" he inquired, looking surprised while his voice is still in a soft-spoken tone.
"Yeah! Like, my name is Summer like the sunny season and yours is Brody like a clean and shiny place," Summer remarked pleasantly, making the emotion on Brody's face flicker with a subtle hint of vulnerability. "So what brings you up here, Brody?" she asked, looking at him with a curious expression.
Brody thought for a moment before gesturing towards Beatrice on the stage, pointing at the animatronic who is still performing. Summer turned her head to the large bunny and lets out a soft giggle with amusement.
"You're scared of Beatrice? That's kind of silly," she said in a playful tone, "I've seen plenty of kids here be terrified of Beatrice and then cry to their parents to take them away in another room and it cracks me up!"
Brody blinked a few times before letting out a small chuckle at Summer's playful manner. "Y-Yeah," he managed to say quietly.
"Though, I think it's because my sister works here that makes me less afraid of the characters," Summer said with a nonchalant shrug.
"S-sister?" Brody asked, his eyes widen in surprise to hear she has a sibling. "Yep! She showed me the characters up close and I didn't get scared," Summer explained, "do you got any siblings, Brody?"
"I-I got 2 brothers," he replied, getting more confident in speaking.
"Wow, you're so lucky! I wish I got two siblings too," Summer responded, her tone being a mix of both playful and envy. "Say, how about I introduce you to my sister and you show me your brothers?"
Brody's eyes lit up to her suggestion and nodded eagerly. "Okay, then it's settled!" Summer then started climbing down the ladder tower with Brody slowly following her down. Once on the ground, Summer led Brody out of the Play Area and out the hallway.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
"I understand what you're going through, Scarlet. I really do," a woman spoke empathetically as she steps into the Break Room, holding two cups of coffee in her hands. She has long brown hair with side bangs tied into a short ponytail, wearing a light blue and yellow buttoned shirt with a Frankburt's Pizza styled badge attached to her shirt. She sat down across from Scarlet, who wore a pinkish-red striped shirt and long dark brown hair, placing her coffee down on the table. The woman stared sympathetically at Scarlet as she raised her head up from the table with a very exhausted expression on her face, grabbing her coffee and taking a large sip of it. "Have you tried looking for special help for your problem?" the woman asked with concern in her tone.
Putting her coffee down in massive defeat, Scarlet spoke wearily: "No, I have not, Cassidy.."
"Look, it's not your fault for what happened," Cassidy sighed gently, pausing to take a small sip from her coffee before proceeding. "Please remember that you're not to blame for their death. None of it is, Scarlet."
Scarlet just groaned and leaned back in her chair, her shoulders sagged and her exhaustion became palpable. "I-I know, it's just... I keep thinking that I could've done something to prevent it. But I was too oblivious to do anything," she admitted hopelessly in a somber tone. Cassidy's focus remained on Scarlet with a concerned expression, listening intently to her friend's stream of words. However, Scarlet's distressed rambling was then interrupted by a sudden exclamation by-
"Hey, Cass! Meet my new friend, big sis!" Summer's cheerful voice echoing through the room as she enters the Break Room with Brody by her side. Cassidy groaned before turning her head over to Summer and Brody.
"Sis, what did I tell you about coming into this room without my permission?" she asked, her annoyance evident in her narrowed eyebrows and stern tone.
"You never told me that, big sis," Summer repeated, her cheerful demeanour being unchanged to an otherwise serious atmosphere. "I could've swore I told you..." Cassidy murmured quietly, her irritation being replaced.
"Anyways Cassidy, I want you to meet my new friend Brody!" Summer spoke as Brody took a few steps forward and waved silently, to which Cassidy tilted her head in acknowledgment.
"Nice to meet you Brody," she said, her tone shifting to a composed tone. "I'm Summer's big sister Cassidy and this is my friend, Scarlet."
As soon as Brody happily waved to both of them, Scarlet took immediate notice of Brody and her usually tired eyes widening slightly with a hint of tension in her expression. She then stood up from her chair and walked over to Brody, her gaze continuing to fixate on him. Looking up at Scarlet with confusion mixed with slight nervousness, Brody took a step back just as Scarlet dropped to Brody's eye level and enveloped him into a hug, tears silently streaming down her cheeks. Brody, caught off-guard, slowly raised his arms to reciprocate the embrace. Summer looked surprised by this while Cassidy quietly noted her friend's act and remained silent. After a few seconds of silence besides Scarlet's silent tears, she then breaks away from the hug to wipe away the tears streaming from her cheeks.
"S-Sorry about that," she managed to say, her voice caught in her throat. "You... you look so much like someone I used to know years ago until they..." she stopped for a moment to keep herself from crying again. Cassidy approached Scarlet and gently placed a comforting hand on her shoulder, to which she let out a choked sob.
"Sorry about her, Brody. She's going through a lot right now that it's becoming tough for her," Cassidy apologised to him on Scarlet's behalf, her expression having a hint of understanding. Brody just nodded slowly without a word, understanding her words carefully. Cassidy then shifted her gaze towards her little sister with a stern expression.
"Summer, can you and your friend leave us alone for a moment please?" she ordered, her voice being low and firm. Summer reluctantly nodded, sensing Cassidy's seriousness and grabbed Brody by his hand out of the Break Room.
"Come on Brody, let's go see your brothers!" she chimed to him, leading him in the restaurant's hallways once more to the Dining Area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Jackson darted his eyes from performing animatronic characters on the Show Stage to Charles sitting across him. "So dad wants you to use the doll... WoodBuddy, to make people laugh and stuff?" he asked, his curiosity piqued in the tone of his voice.
"Yeah," Charles nodded with his chin resting on his fist, "Dad wanted me to have WoodBuddy in case it comes in handy for my future in the comedian business as he calls it or something." Jackson stared with his eyes widened at the thought of his older brother becoming just like their father, wearing a multicoloured jester outfit with many objects he uses for his acts.
"But.. I'm not sure if I'm even cut out to being a comedy guy," Charles confessed with a deep sigh, uncertainty in his voice. "I love our dad very much, but following in his footsteps? I not sure if that'll even happen when I don't know anything about coming up with jokes that'll make anyone laugh." With another sigh, Charles leaned back against the chair, his doubt evident. "I only know so much from dad, but I'm not ready for whatever the future throws at me yet."
Just as Jackson could respond, his attention is suddenly diverted as he notices Brody approaching them with Summer by his side. "Hey Brody!" he greets him with a smile tugged at the corner of his lips, waving happily. Charles swivelled his head towards Brody and Summer, immediately taking note that Lynda is absence.
"Hello! I assume you two are Brody's brothers? My name is Summer, Brody's new friend!" She greeted both of them with a bright friendly smile, introducing herself.
"Yep, nice to meet you Summer. I'm Jackson and that's Charles, our big brother!" Jackson replied, gesturing to their brother sitting across from him. Charles waved silently at Summer before turning his head to Brody with a slightly puzzled expression.
"Brody, where's mom? Is she using the restroom or something?" he inquired, his voice filled with concern.
Brody darted his eyes everywhere, his mind beginning to race as he immediately realised that their mom is not here. "U-Uh... I forgot.." his voice trailing off nervously.
Charles instantly felt his face etched with alarms as he sprung up from his chair with worry in his face. "Mom took you into the Play Area, right? Is she still there?" he asked urgently, putting his arms onto Brody's arms with concern.
"I-I think so..." Brody answered softly.
"Okay, I'll go find her while you stay here. Jackson, keep an eye on him please. And Summer too, I suppose," Charles ordered, wasting no time marching out of the Dining Area to search for Lynda.
"Well he seems nice," Summer said in a sarcastic tone before noticing a few slices of pizza laid out on the table with cards labelled to Brody. "Hey Brody, what are these cards for?" she inquired, took one card and examined it.
"It's m-my birthday today," Brody managed to reply, his voice barely drowned out by the sound of children running around.
"He's 9 whole years old now!" Jackson announced proudly with his hands in the air.
"Brody, you never told me it's your birthday. Happy birthday!" Summer replied brightly before taking a seat at the table, her hand grabbing a slice of pizza. "You don't mind if I take a slice, do you?"
Brody silently shook his head with a soft smile tugging across the corners of his face.
"You're good, Summer! Brody doesn't mind at all," Jackson chimed in addressing her, taking a bite out of his new slice of pizza. With another bright smile, Summer takes a bite out of her pizza slice while Brody sits down with her and Jackson, enjoying their company.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Charles meanwhile had made his way into the restaurant's hallways, his eyes darting around in search for their mom until he suddenly felt a strange draft of wind, and a feeling of a chill running over his skin. Gently covering his arms for warmth, he continued forward while shivering slightly, peering into every Party Room to find the Play Area. But the more he proceeds forward, Charles found himself hearing something that caught his attention - tiny, barely audible whispers echoing in his mind. He came to a halt, standing still frozen in place for a few moments, as if he's paralyzed while focusing on what the voices in his head are saying.
As he turns his head around, his gaze locks onto a dark grey creature, staring directly at him from a distance. It looked sort of human but something about it at the same time makes its appearance all the more uncanny, having sharp claws, glowing teeth, and small pin prick-like eyes. Charles immediately took notice of were the tears streaming down its face, that are coloured a deep shade of red.
"H-Hello..?" Charles called to it, his voice hesitant as he approached it. But the creature didn't respond back. After a few seconds of silence, the grey creature turned around and walked further down the hallway, leaving Charles fixated on it before deciding to follow closely behind. He continued walking along the winding hallway, his footsteps barely making a sound as he closely trailed the inexplicable creature while the faint whispers grew louder and more distant to hear.
After a while, the grey creature disappears from Charles's sight as it passes through an unknown door, leaving him alone in the barely lit hallway. The air around him became eerily quiet and the whispers couldn't be heard anymore. Charles stood upon the mysterious door, slightly confused on what it is and what's in there that made the creature go inside, making his curiosity to spike. With one hand, he slowly and hesitantly reached out for the door handle, intending to open the door.
Just as he was about to turn the handle, sudden loud banging echoed loudly from inside the room. Startled, Charles jerked his hand back as the sound jolted him back to reality. Not only was banging heard within the room, but also low growling echoing through the space that sounded like either an undead zombie or a wild animal trapped in a metal cage. The guttural sounds with the banging was enough for Charles to back away step by step from the ominous door slowly, making him fear what could be in there.
As he backed farther away from the pounding door, he accidently bumped into someone behind him. Looking up, he's met with a woman who has long brown hair and wearing a Frankburt's Pizza badge.
"Just what are you doing back here, kid?" Cassidy asked with a stern expression. "Kids like you shouldn't be allowed near off limit areas. I'm taking you back to your parents." Grabbing his arm tightly, Cassidy leads Charles away from the dimly lit hallway.
"W-Wait, ma'am! I was going to look for my mom in the Play Area, but I-I got distracted! Do you know where it is?" Charles stuttered, his voice filled with hurried words. Cassidy glanced back at Charles with a mix of surprise and annoyance before replying with a deep sigh, her tone tinged with weariness.
"Alright fine, I'll take you there. But if your mom is not there..." Her words trailed off quietly into a low murmur as she guided Charles to the Play Area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
As they arrive there, Charles immediately spotted Lynda sleeping at a nearby table, rushing over to her with no hesitation and concern etched on his face. Cassidy trailed closely behind and watched the scene from afar.
"Mom? Mom, wake up," Charles exclaimed, gently while shaking Lynda just a little, resulting in Lynda fluttering her eyes open and sprang up.
"Wh-What... where... Charles?" she murmured, her voice tinged with grogginess. With bleary eyes, she takes a quick glance around before looking down at Charles, her recognition slowly dawning on her face. "C-Charles? W-Where's Brody?!" Lynda exclaimed, her eyes darting around frantically searching for him. "He was in this room with me earlier before I..." her voice trailed off as she looked away in shame, unable to meet Charles's eyes.
"Don't worry mom, he's back in the dining room with Jackson. He was brought there by a girl named Summer," Charles reassured her softly, attempting to soothe her worry.
Cassidy, who was still observing from the distance, instantly perked up at the mention of Summer. "Summer?" she interjected politely, gently breaking into the conversation without disrupting it. "She's my younger sister," Cassidy added. Lynda and Charles looked back at Cassidy who approached them calmly.
"Oh, really?" Charles responded, his head tilted slightly in surprise. Cassidy nodded, feeling touched with sisterly pride before looking up at Lynda with a serious expression.
"I don't appreciate irresponsible parents who simply leave their kids alone in areas where they can easily get lost. Next time, please keep a watchful eye on your kids or there will be serious consequences." she warned sternly.
Lynda, still tired from her nap, silently nodded in acknowledgement. "I understand. And I apologise," she yawned, her voice still raspy as she stands up and takes Charles's hand with a firm grip, preparing to leave the Play Area.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Both Lynda and Charles made their way back into the Dining Room, with Cassidy not far behind them. Upon entering, they discover a lively scene as Jackson, Brody, and Summer were energetically running around the diner, engaged in a game of tag. "I'm going to catch you two!" Jackson proclaimed playfully, chasing after them. Brody and Summer just giggled together as they continued running, their joyous energy filling the air. As soon as Brody sees Charles and Lynda back in the dining room, he comes to an abrupt halt, accidently causing Jackson to comically collide into him, the impact sending both of them sprawled onto the ground.
"Are you two okay?" Summer asked as she approaches over to them, her voice a blend of concern and amusement. Brody and Jackson both looked up at her, then exchanged glances to each other before breaking into a fit of laughter at their humorous moment. Charles let out a small smile as he and Lynda settled into their seats at the table, taking note of the empty plates in front of them.
"Seems like you guys had a blast while I was away," he teased remarkably. Both Brody and Jackson got up and wiped themselves down while giggling, acknowledging their silliness.
"Alright kids, if you're finished with your plates, make sure you throw them away please," Lynda announced, her voice still drowsy just as Cassidy came over to monitor the scene.
"They're your sons, ma'am?" she asked, her attention shifting to Lynda and her sons.
"Yes, they are my little boys," Lynda nodded before yawning, a tiny touch of both pride and tiredness etching in her expression. Cassidy observed the lively trio, taking in their energy and enthusiasm.
"Yeesh, I can tell it's stressful managing all three of them at once," Cassidy sighed softly, responding with a mix of understanding and commiseration. "Summer was like that with me when she was small. She always runs around thinking it's a game of tag during bed time."
Lynda listened intently to her before she gently rubbed her eyes. "They certainly are, indeed," she replied softly, her voice still carrying a hint of weariness. "I promised my husband years ago that I would make up to him for being in the hospital during Christmas time. Now I'm really starting to understand what Gron has to put up with."
Cassidy nodded sympathetically. "Where is your husband by any chance? He can't be abandoning you, is he?" she asked.
"Vincent mentioned to me that he's on a business trip somewhere," Lynda grumbled in annoyance. "But it's been ages since I last saw him, and there's no way he could be on that trip for that long. It's been years." Cassidy fixed her gaze intently at the increasingly stressed Lynda, sensing something is amiss about the sudden absence of her husband and the supposed 'business trip.'
"You don't think Vincent might've known what truly happened to your husband and is keeping it from you?" she posed a question, her voice laced with concern.
Lynda's tired eyes locked with Cassidy’s with a mix of shock and realisation. "No... Vincent and my husband have always been honest with each other and me. Why would Vincent lie?" she protested. "And even if I was to go ask him, I can't now because he's on vacation."
Cassidy pondered for a moment before responding thoughtfully. "My boss did mention something about Vincent to us a while ago. Perhaps he knows more about this situation than we realise," she suggested. "I'll ask him once it's closing time, okay?"
Lynda silently nodded to Cassidy's suggestion before yawning again. "I really need a break from taking care of my kids. The added pressure of going to work and having to leave them alone at home is exacerbating," she shared with frustration She then added with annoyance, "And Vincent is out of town so he can't assist in helping watch them."
Cassidy diverted her attention from Lynda to Brody who was playing with his brothers and Summer, suddenly getting struck by a lightbulb moment and an suitable idea forming in her mind. "Say, I think I know someone in mind that can help you with babysitting your children," she responded before leaning in and whispering into Lynda's ear.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the day at Frankburt's Pizza went by as usual until it was nearing closing time. The evening hours ticked by once dusk gradually descended, casting a shadow across the establishment and the commotion in the restaurant gradually quieted down with the Takaliken family being the last ones to leave for the night.
"I've had so much fun today!" Summer proclaimed with her eyes sparkling with joy, giving Brody a firm handshake. "We should definitely hang out more often!"
Brody silently nodded while Jackson gives her a thumbs up. "We'll be sure to visit you anytime, Summer! he replied, giving her a cheerful grin.
Lynda gently yet firmly ushered Charles, Brody, and Jackson towards the car, her voice filled with motherly but weary tune."Come on, boys. It's getting late and it's almost past your bedtime." Once the three boys are safely fastened in their seats and Lynda starting the car engine, she pulls them out of the parking lot and navigated the vehicle onto the road, initiating the drive back home, leaving both Summer and Cassidy outside watching them leave.
"You promise that you'll take me to their house for visits, right Cass?" Summer asked hopefully to Cassidy as she approaches her.
"Yeah, I will," Cassidy nodded reassuringly, adjusting her uniform. "But if I'm not available, I'll have Scarlet take you there instead."
Summer's usual cheerful expression shifted to a pouting frown at the mention of Scarlet. "Why her? And what do you mean 'not available'?" She questioned, disappointment filling her voice.
"Hey, I feel sympathetic for her and want her to be more.. sociable with others," Cassidy explained her reasoning. "Besides, I figured you and Brody would be the perfect duo to open Scarlet's reserved shell up a little."
Summer's pout persisted as Cassidy continued, a note disappointment evident in her tone. "In addition, I've been requested by my boss to take the night shift at the diner tonight. I'll come back here after dropping you off at home." she mentioned, her voice soft yet resolate. Summer voiced a soft grumble but understood Cassidy's reasoning.
As soon as the restaurant has been emptied out of any customers, Cassidy chauffeured her little sister back to their home. After bidding her farewell and a good night, Cassidy returned back to the restaurant start her night shift.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Arriving back into the restaurant, Cassidy turned on several lights, illuminating the space. The interior of the Dining Room became aglow as the brightened illumination filled the are, but without any guests present, the flow of the room remained unhindered. Shifting her gaze towards the main Show Stage, Cassidy's eyes silently studied each of the key animatronic characters - Buster the Rabbit, Kitty FazCat, and the star performer himself, Frankburt.
Among the trio upon the large wooden structure, Cassidy couldn't help but feel a little unsettled towards Frankburt. His outwardly human appearance might fool many customers into believing he's just flesh and bone, but she knew better. Behind those almost-lifelike features lay the mechanical strength and potential to inflict serious harm to anyone that's foolish enough to get close to him. The gaping mouth and big humanlike teeth makes him look like he's frowning just like an old man after dealing with several annoying children running across their lawn.
Just then, her watch began to emit a gentle beep, signalling the start of her shift. Giving the motionless Frankburt animatronic on the stage a wary glance, Cassidy walked off towards the restaurant's security office, her steps deliberate and measured.
As she left, the room's atmosphere started to subtly shift. Soft but barely heard whispers drifted through the somewhat calm air, adding to the eeriness. A slow music box tune started to emit from inside the Frankburt animtronic, its slow and haunting piano notes reverberating faintly into the silent room. Then, the animatronic's once lifeless eyes suddenly began to emit two pinprick points of white light. Frankburt has now been activated.
