Acabo de conocer la leyenda de "La Huesera"¹. Una vieja cuya tarea es recoger huesos de criaturas, especialmente, lobos. Y que cuando tiene un esqueleto completo, elige una canción y la canta al lado del fuego. Poco a poco, a la criatura se va cubriendo de carne y pelo. Hasta que finalmente, la criatura cobra vida. En el día de la Luna de Larga Noche dicen que Marte formará una línea recta con el Sol y la Tierra y día de la Inmaculada Concepción he pensado en el paralelismo de algunas recomendaciones e influencias, algunos poemas, películas, canciones, suspiros o sonrisas. No todas, pero algunas, nos hacen rodearnos de carne y pelo, volver a "cobrar vida" recuperando nuestros huesos perdidos, nuestros trozos de alma. Me pregunto:«¿Cómo está mi cuerpo?» y por fin, se entiende, que no solo físicamente. Cantemos a los huesos. 3 Lessons I learned from reading Women who Run with the Wolves

The first story that spoke to me was the tale of Vasilisa, which is a Slavic folktale about a young girl whose Mother dies. On her deathbed Vasalisa’s Mother gives her a doll to take care of she tells her to feed the doll scraps of bread and to hold the doll near her. Vasalisa’s father remarries to a woman with 2 daughters. The step mom and the daughters treat Vasalisa poorly and make her do all the chores. One day they send her on a death mission into the forest to Baba Yaga, a powerful witch who lives in the forrest to ask for fire. So Vasalisa sets out into the forest being led in which direction to go by the doll. She finds Baba Yaga and asks Baba Yaga for some fire. Baba Yaga gives her a bunch of tasks to complete thinking she would not be able to complete the tasks. Vasalisa completes what she can and the doll tells her to go to sleep and completes the impossible list of tasks before Baba Yaga returns. The next morning Baba Yaga is surprised that Vasalisa finishes all the tasks she gave her and then gives her some more. She goes to work and again the doll completes the rest of the tasks. Then Baba Yaga grants her the fire and Vasalisa heads back to her home allowing the doll to guide her on her way.

The doll acts as her intuition something her Mother was unable to help her hone in on because she died when Vasalisa was so young. Reading this story really made me sad for all the times I didn’t trust my intuition about a person or a situation in my life. At the time I was reading this story someone from my past came back into my life. At first I was a bit hesitant about meeting with them but eventually I did. This person ended up hanging around a little longer than I had initially anticipated. Then things went south very quickly. I looked back and wondered how I got here, but I realized my intuition was right about this person even though I couldn’t explain why I didn’t want them around. The lesson that I got from this story was to trust my intuition and my visions.

BLACK LIVES STILL MATTER . I know a lot of Instagram has gone back to “regular” posting, and I do think it’s important we all share our magic with the world.
