Rant:

I remember when people used to actually believe that a man cheating is starkly different than a woman cheating. “WHeN A MaN ChEats, tHeR e isS No EmOtion. ITs JuSt SEx. But WHeN a wOmAN chEats, It’s a bIgGEr deal”. Like disrespectfully, shut up with that nonsense. Cheating involves emotions no matter the gender so. I remember how stupid ppl used to be in believing that too. I’m glad women are realizing how stupid that sounds. this is why you literally have to have your own thought process instead of listening to what everyone says.

Even with the sprinkle sprinkle theory, I do agree with a lot of things Shera says. A man should provide and what not but to say that you should just be with a man just because he provides you money is insane. 😭 Cause now i’m seeing these women acting like they deserve their bills paid after one date like girl. 💀 Some ppl are taking that way too far as well.

The way people are so easily swayed is insane to me. Ignorant podcasts will be one of the downfalls of our society. Maybe find advice from the Word, not from imperfect humans who have no idea what they’re doing in this life.

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

We are well beyond canary in the coalmine warning levels with the way trans people and particularly trans women are treated on this site.

Maybe you've heard the metaphor of allowing wolves and sheep to share the same space, welcoming everyone. You end up with just wolves because allowing them in that space makes it unsafe for any sheep. Or the story about how a nazi goes into a dive bar and is refused service. The bartender then explains to someone else at the bar that if you serve them once they tell their friends and before you know it you're the nazi bar they all go to and normal customers don't feel safe.

Terfs and other bigots are seeing these targeted harassment campaigns succeed against trans women and rejoicing. They see Tumblr ban them and officially stand by those decisions as endorsement for their harassment. It's a sign to bigots across the internet that Tumblr is a good place for them.

And what's more is that a lot of us probably don't realize just how much trans women contribute to Tumblr. The women banned recently were sources of site-wide memes and posts I wasn't even aware originated from them.any years old memes and references can be traced back to trans women on this site.

How many of these folks have to be removed before this is no longer a site you want to be a part of it? Sure you cultivate your own experience, but you can't follow or interact with people who aren't here. And if I wanted to interact with the nazis and terfs I'd go to reddit.

I encourage everyone to reblog this. Trans women shouldn't have to be the only ones speaking out against the bigotry they're experiencing. They shouldn't be the only ones risking their blogs being nuked by staff. We have to stand with them.

Also, because I know that the majority of male comic fans don't understand this: Gambit as a character has always been largely tailored for the female gaze. Most characters in these comics are made for the male gaze, I understand, but there are a few that are made for the rest of us, and Remy is one of them.

Hence the pink armor, the fingerless gloves, the swoopy hair, the thinner body type, the funky eyes... and yes, the crop top moments. Because women like those things. We think they're hot.

(And I'm sure there are other non-women who like them that way as well... I'm just speaking from my own experience as a woman who is attracted to men.)
