As a black woman who strongly advocates for both women of color and trans people, the last few days have been a horror to experience. The power of white tears was once again put on display during imane's boxing match. Watching that girl have the whole world literally turn against her bc a white woman couldn't take a loss is absolutely terrifying. This is not the first time a woman of color's femininity and womanhood was questioned due to the fact that they were brilliant at a sport. Serena Williams, Caster Semenya and many other women of color faced the same atrocities due to their brilliance and the fact that they didn't fit it the mainstream whitewashed image of what femininity and womanhood should be. We need a radical change and in order to do this, we need start by deplatforming people like Jk Rowling who are voices of both transphobia and systemic racism.

I recently confessed to a friend that in the past, whenever I drew my sona with a gap, banjo music would start playing in my head. It doesn't help that I'm actually from the South either.

I've actually come to like having a gap, and I long lost the urge to correct it with braces. (My front teeth also used to be much more bucked - I resonated heavily with Timmy Turner, Spongebob, and Goofy as a kid.) That being said, it still took me some time to stop feeling like I was injecting my comics with hillbilly essence whenever I drew it.

Pourquoi créer ce tumblr ?

Je vous avoue que moi-même je n'ai pas une réponse claire. L'envie m'a prise comme ça, sur un coup de tête, parce que j'avais beaucoup de choses à dire, parce que je voulais me remettre dans la communauté et me créer un réseau ou peut-être pour promouvoir mes personnages, mes styles et mes id��es de forums.

Toutefois, une petite présentation s'impose.

L'anonymat c'est bien, mais vous pouvez m'appeler Mia, un tout nouveau pseudo que j'utilise après une pause de plus de 4 ans. Non pas que l'ancien était problématique mais parce que ça ne me correspondait plus.

Je ne suis pas une grande écrivaine, j'ai découvert le RPG sur forum vers 2016, et après plusieurs pauses, je me rends toujours compte que l'écriture est mon échappatoire malgré mon niveau modeste. Si j'écris toute seule, mes pensées prennent le dessus et tout devient morose dans ma vie, chose que le RPG ne fait pas. Parce qu'il est participatif, parce qu'il est communautaire, il m'apporte joie, tristesse, bonheur et fou rire.

C'est ainsi que je fais mon retour, aux portes de la trentaine, j'espère retrouver la joie que j'ai senti au début de ma vingtaine, garder un moment régulier pour mes personnages et laisser libre court à mon imagination et à mes envies.

Bref, ce tumblr sert de débarras, de pinterest rpgique ou de coin publicitaire pour ceux qui le souhaitent ~
