Last Thursday on my way to work, I listened to wolfgang amadeus phoenix (Phoenix, 2009) from start to finish. It's such a perfect record. I have a lot of fondness for bankrupt! because it'd just been released when I fell in love with Phoenix. But I must admit Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is pretty incredible, nothing but bangers.

And of course it has what's probably my favourite Phoenix song : Rome. I love it so much that I listen to it in small doses, as if I'm afraid it'll make me feel too much. With Rome in my hears I'm feel like I'm 14 again, but also like I've lived through centuries of sadness.

Okay so I've done it. Another pirate remix inspired very heavily by the Hans Zimmer Pirates of the Caribbean sound.

This is for a contest. The goal is not to win the contest, but to make people go "Why does this album art have pirates on it? Why is it marked as classical?" Basically I'm confident that I'll have submitted the only pirate shanty remix.

Y'all. The plan is to turn this into a really dramatic like....Hans Zimmer Pirates of the Caribbean remix and call it "1701". Previews soonish hopefully.
