Wolf quest anniversary edition fanart! My new favorite thing to do in that game is finding skulls and antlers and bringing them back to my pups :3c

Fucking. My player wolf lost his first mate along with 5/7 pups of his first litter. He finds another mate and the two of them have five litters together. Both he and his second mate reach age eight with the last litter. Minnow (player wolf) dies about 3/4 of the way through Growing Pups with Daisy (second mate) still alive. Goose (surviving daughter of Minnow's first litter. not Daisy's daughter) inherits the pack.

During young hunters, Goose finds a dispersal male and decides she doesn't particularly like him, whatever. Stops interacting with him and he runs STRAIGHT to Daisy, the widowed elder wolf currently with two six month old pups. THEY FORM A BONDED PAIR AND START A PACK TOGETHER, AND LEAVE THE MAP. DAISY COMPLETELY ABANDONING HER TWO PUPPIES THAT ARE STILL LEARNING TO HUNT.

I wanted to have a sweet playthrough where Daisy simply didn't wake up one morning, and the whole pack (WHICH IS MADE UP OF EXCLUSIVELY HER TWO STEP-KIDS AND HER BIO KIDS. TWO OF WHOM AREN'T EVEN YEARLINGS YET) grieves her because she's their mama, but nooo she went to run off with a younger man. Whatever. Go live your dreams ig.

okay you know how my laptop's battery is messed up? so it slows itself down on purpose because it thinks it's always on the verge of dying?

Weirdly, that only seems to apply to the very first section of a new game? As soon as it turns to winter, it starts going at normal speed, even when I record. And then all the times after that, even with five wolves running around at all times instead of one or two, it's still staying at a full 30fps, and it would go higher if I would let it.

(I don't like how fast it moves at higher than 30fps lol)

So, something's specifically going on for the first quest in the game that slows it down, that is not happening during any other quests.

I send them a report explaining this lol. Hopefully they can figure out what it is.

anyways I love the saga. It is so fun running around with the teenagers and then young adults.

Wild Echos

This is the place. Echo thought to herself. This is the place I can settle down. Maybe even start a pack of my own! That was an exciting thought. Ever since she left her birth pack she was moving from place to place, and everywhere she went there was little to no unclaimed space. She was chased from place to place barely being able to rest, so when she came upon the valleys of unclaimed space in the lost river, she knew this was the place to raise her future pups. She quickly sniffed the air. Nothing. That was a good sign. But daydreaming had to be put off, she needed to find some food!

OH MY GODDDDD MY FAVORITE PUP REN JR. WAS JUST MURDERD. to be fair she is my favorite pup because she is my only pup, BUT STILL. i am DISTRAUGHT. renaissance and smog are GOOD PARENTS and have taught her well and now their only living (now dead) child is GONE.

"cockroach, calm down!" LISTEN! if what happened to me had happened to you, you TOO would be up on your toes with pitchforks, ready to slay the next thing that moves. let me explain

renaissance is currently having a feud with prospect peak pack because they think they own the entirety of slough creek. wrong. im the alpha dog. i own this shit.

anyway, here i was, destroying as much as their territory as i could and killing as many of their pups as possible (the little ones are easier to slaughter). i see that prospect peak is trying to take over the oxbow packs territory, and me being nice, i decide to help oxbow out because i never once had any problems with them.

knock on motherfucking wood.

after claiming territory on the border of oxbow, renaissance, ren jr, and smog go to sleep. after a restful sleep, we awake to an attack!

"oh heavens must be those pesky prospect peaks wolves again" i say.

BUT WHO DO I SEE?!

oxbow pack wolves!!

WHAT!!!!!

i thought we had alliance. i thought we were friends. there are two of them. they go straight for smog and ren jr. its a blizzard. i can barely see as snowflakes pellet my screen. the sky is gray. the music is overwhelming. and then i see it. my worst fear.

BISON.

and you know whats worse than a worst fear? an even WORSE FEAR.

REN JR IS CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BISON AND SOME OXBOW WOLF WHO IS CURRENTLY MAULING HER.

i freak out and me being a first time parent, i try to run away from the situation in hopes ren jr would follow. spoiler: it doesnt work.

i charge at the offending oxbow wolf in hopes of encouraging ren jr to run away from the bison, but instead all i see is my daughter get WHAMMED in the face with a bisons head. knocks her out cold. instant nighty-night. i see ren jr's corpse collapse on the snow-ridden ground. her dirty-white coat instantly blends in with the flooring, becoming one with mother earth. before i can cry, the oxbow wolves give up their attack immediately after. was this the plan all along? to have an innocent pup killed?! i cant even get near my daughter because the bison MURDERER is standing over her corpse. my jaw is agape. smog is running in circles. the blizzard rages on. i cry.

oxbow pack. i have a vendetta against you oxbow pack. sleep with one eye open. this is war.
