ive never gone to see an opera live in europe let alone one outside of a major theater that regularly records and broadcasts their productions so grain of salt etc but i think there's some kind of distinct cultural difference between how european companies do "reimagined" productions of operas vs how american companies do it

The inspiration for this pose/background/EVERYTHING actually comes from the La Traviata production at WNO!! i saw the dress rehearsal and ugh...it ended so beautifully and tragically...the acting and the singing ughh....so good. made the ending SO much more impactful....

oh. i also did this one in particular because i keep on getting struck with visions of courtesan Ink and client Error. please help i kind of love the idea.

I do think it's unfair to publicly dunk on someone wno seems, by a dispassionate analysis, to probably be acting abrasive due to some level of mental health crisis - but, obviously, this can be hard to discern from simple trolling or reactionary incoherence. So ahhh this gets deep in spoilers and I mean for the series so proceed below the line at your own risk...not sure how much will be used or changed by the time I get to book 4.5

Enky is the first god....he sprang forth from the void and is the void...the others showed up many years after he had started building a world alone. The company was nice and slowly they began to create things for the planets within the realm.

Enky can travel between them at will as can Solace and Kieran if he wanted to as they all have a connection with the ether of the world that the other gods do not.

Long ago there was a war in which Damaluna Enky's betrothed died in, with here death Enky snapped and ended the war by killing the one responsible but as a result well...let's just say only a handful of the gods survived the explosion the fates died and they had to rebuild...

Enky is the only one who saw the path Nereza was going down and warned the others but it was for naught.... They did not listen..

Bonus fact by warning them of it he was sacrificing his own happiness as he knew that if that path wasn't taken then Damaluna wouldn't be reborn again.. but for those he considered family he was willing to remain alone forever...

Well, they didn't listen events are happening and Mal, Oisìn, Taz and Jade are in the heart of it along with Kieran... He is manipulating things in a way that gives them the best chance as he cannot outright help them as it would cause another war and he'd rather not be the only god left in existence...

Owls were the bird that Damaluna had a connection with...she had one as a pet so his preference for owls is a commitment to her...before meeting her his preference had been crows and eagles...but the swift wings of an owl aren't too bad and it reminds him of the times he traveled with her in his owl form.

Kieran may be the main god of the series but Enky has his hand in everything including certain actions that solace takes.
