the revelation that claudia’s rebirth was such a twisted and horrible moment, with louis dragging her like she was a thing, a stranger who neither of them knew but he kept saying over and over “our daughter, our beautiful little daughter” to lestat, really solidified the way she was never the main character of her own story. she was always an accessory to some or the other of louis’ whims: his guilt, his loneliness, his conflict of being a killer, his rocky relationship with lestat. there was love there, love from both her fathers, but it was never enough. lestat saw her too much as a wretched mirror held up to his own self, and louis was always too steeped in his own feelings to care enough about hers. claudia’s story truly was the greatest tragedy in this tale, treated horribly by every man around her, even her fathers, relentlessly exploited and brutally ignored, always second and never first. the only one who loved her the way she deserved to be loved was madeleine, and the moment she truly had her, her happiness was torn from her. and just before she died, she got to see someone actually choose her in her entirety, not for what she can be but for who she is, and it still wasn’t enough. she still burned alive in the sunlight. the love was there, but it wasn’t enough to save her.

I don't like the Forth Doctor. Actually I do actively dislike him and I'm struggling to finish his run (I'm at Leela in Victorian London now) 🙈

Everyone seems to love him and he's "the best Doctor" and they enjoy his weirdness and relationship with companions... But I find him scary, rude, unkind and dismissive, even towards his companions 🙈

I once had a dream about him, and he was standing right next to me, and I had to really look up to see his face and there he was, towering over me, smiling with too many teeth and huge eyes and damn, that was scary 🫥

I'm really looking forward to Five, but I don't want to skip Four and the struggle is real 😭

That's probably only me, but... Would appreciate your opinions, I'm open to you guys changing my mind about him, I do want to enjoy his run 😭

jem and tessa’s love story will always hit different to me because it was so sweet when they were young, but so tragic. two kids fighting against time and terrible circumstances. and then it took one hundred and thirty years for them to have a second chance: during which jem feels himself losing the human heart he had, and tessa fights so hard to keep him alive because she can’t lose him too, not after they both lost will. catarina, he cannot die. he cannot die.

in 2008 tessa says — in a way, this is our wedding night. she picks a dress the colour of an orchid, jem’s favourite flower, to remind him of what they were, to remind him of what she wanted to be for him when she thought they’d have a future together. and jem responds with the number of days he’s counted since they last kissed: says you don’t need to remind me, says “you were my first love, and you will be my last one.”

these two characters, two of the kindest and gentlest, who endured for so long. the period between will’s death and before 2008 especially is just devastating…when jem believed he was getting less and less human and both he and tessa could only hold on to the hope of someday, maybe. it kills me all the time

Emmeline changed a lot both in design and character. Liam hasn’t changed much in design but he’s very different in character (he used to be friendly). Finn’s name changed from Everett because I got really into life is strange 2 and there’s a guy named Finn in that game and I was like “… hmm wait 🤔” (his full name is still Everett Finneas Mercer tho). Also can’t exactly remember why I decided they weren’t friends anymore?? I know Liam was always intended to be magical in some way (though it was originally he attracts magic but wasn’t magic himself) and one random day I was putting my laundry away and I was like “… Finn dies. OMG who said thaaat that’s so crazy I could neveeeeerrrr 🤭”

idk man the devs r more focused on releasing limited memories and events than updating the main story. "but they released main story branches..." Ya after months of nothing, and the players were dissatisfied with how underwhelming it was too.

it doesnt hurt to make the game a little more cinematic (?) okay. it would also b so nice if there was a landscape mode feature. tbf i have more issues regarding the game but currently cant think of the rest so ill end it here
