I had completely forgotten that it was in Nan Elmoth that Thingol and Melian met, and that Thingol explicitly suffered an enchantment after wandering in, and that the enchantment still lay upon the forest when Aredhel entered it, years later; and it probably lasted until the breaking of Beleriand at the end of the First Age...

And now I'm entertaining a headcanon that the forest is Beleriand's Bermuda Triangle -- Thingol and Aredhel are the most notable missing person cases, yes, but there are many others who have gone into the forest or even just strayed too close to its borders and allegedly have never been seen again; travelers and merchants and hunters, all disappearing. It gains the reputation of being haunted or cursed (not in the horror-and-madness-walked terror of Dungortheb kind of way, but more in a less severe, urban legend kind of way); a bedtime story to frighten children; just enough for the more superstitious folk to willingly add a day or two to their journeys to avoid it, just in case, but not enough for the more pragmatically-minded to resist scoffing at the notion and thinking it absurd, leading to many arguments. Perhaps it becomes a favorite spot for dares among the younger elves, challenging each other to spend a night under the shadow of its trees Eol having to chase all these damn elflings that have started appearing off of his lawn, grandma-style

And even after Beleriand sinks under the waves, the rumors persist that there is an area upon the sea -- many days out and almost a direct shot westwards from the northernmost reaches of the Ered Luin -- where ships simply vanish. And if sailors of those vessels ever do reappear, drifting into port on wood that should be long-rotted or suddenly, inexplicably, finding themselves standing behind a market stall or sitting on an inn stool, they do so with no memory of what occurred; only the haziest dream-like recollection of deep twilight and birdsong.

Ooh, what kind of food would Jesse like? 👀 He has no mother, so maybe he's very attached to their cook & their cooking! I wonder what cowboys ate, but then again he is cowboy vampire hunter, I can go bit weird on his fave foods.

Jesse, to me, comes across as someone who would eat anything. I mean anything, like if I cooked for him and forgot spices? Yes. If I burned the food? Sure, he will wolf it down. He has metal gauntlet on his arm day in and maybe day out and he mentions it being heavy as fuck so he burns a lot of calories even moving and then he punches vampire creatures!

It's wonder he has such a build he has considering that.

Not me suddenly imagining Jesse hatless and with apron trying to cook! Oh no, my sanity, it is broken!

Jesse Rentier is the most touch starved man on my f/o list. I know this for a fact. Everyone else has / had at least someone to give and receive affection from, but not poor Jesse. I don't think he even recognizes it before he gets hugged or someone runs their hand through his buzzcut hair. He would instantly miss it and crave it back.

In nutshell, Jesse is so big on physical affection. Mostly shoulder pats and keeping hand on the shoulder, because those he's used to, but just wait until he discovers hugs and the fact he can give them.

But I think the biggest way he tells someone he loves them is letting his guard and walls down. Voice those rebellious thoughts in his head, open up on how frustrated he is about fighting ticks and so on.

flower - what kinds of gifts do you like to give each other?

Jesse appreciates something that helps him on the field, he's so gleeful about gaining new weapon.

He would give flowers and tip his hat with a smirk on top. Maybe something practical like shoes or hat. I'm still thinking this.

There’s a weird smell in your flat. And no, for once, it’s not your boyfriend’s awful British ‘cooking’.

"Simon? You there?" you call out, kicking your shoes off and hanging your jacket up by the door.

"M’here," he calls back, occupied. The cat is sitting on the sofa, looking very unimpressed with his dad’s antics.

"Do you-" you turn a corner to see your boyfriend, staring into the bathroom mirror a little too intensely. One of those hair-colouring brushes is in his hand, painting a slightly blue-tinted paste over his short hair.

"Hey, sweetheart." Hr doesn’t turn from the mirror, but it’s clear that he’s struggling to hide the grin on his face as you catch him red-handed. Bleach-handed.

Simon bleaches his hair? It’s not naturally that colour? Not really knowing what to say, you just stand there and laugh a little, before stepping closer to investigate what he’s doing. He’s laid out all the products in no particular order, by the sink.

"Can y’get the back of my head?" he groans, turning his head in the mirror in an attempt to see how much of it he’s covered.

"Sure." You nod, standing on a chair to get a good vantage point over him.

"Missed a spot, Si," you coo, filling in the little section just above his nape that is not covered by the bleach, and lean to kiss his head, before deciding that that might not be a great idea. Instead, you hop down, and with his strong arms around you, reach up to give him a proper kiss.

"Thanks, love," he grins, not-so-subtly checking himself out in the mirror.

"This stuff stinks," you whine, giggling at this new hairstylist development.

Watching interviews from the olden days and finding gold.

Finding out that Hugh Jackman having to "be the alarm clock" for James Mcavoy and Micheal Fassbender because of how hung over they were is simply hilarious.

Also finding out that James slammed them into a Lexus (only doing 12 miles an hour) got thrown 10 feet, immediately got up and looked back to see Micheal (who was once on the back of the golf cart) now sitting upright in the drivers seat after smacking his head on the seat and got a gash scar on his leg from it- Only to start "maniacally laughing" and literally RAN AWAY once blamed, Is also so young cherik coded.

These crack heads definitely were getting into some nonsense trouble.

Micheal saying he thought the scene from the strip club with charles and angel "I thought we looked like the two old men from the muppets"

Micheal calling the x men "Charlie- boy's kids". Perfection.

Also the way James looks at him when ever Micheal just bursts out into song is so pure. The "wow this idiot... thats my idiot." Glitter in his eye.

James finding out that Micheal isn't american by driving up to him on a vespa, and screaming at him in his normal voice is so funny.

Even the bloopers of Hank and Charles are such a vibe.

I think storm says as the director goes right up to hugh and is like "Litsen when I say so youre gonna jump this wall" and hughs like idk about that mate. "Ill be talking to you through the big microphone that everyone hates" says the director. "Were gonna take the batteries out if it" says someone else.

Something about how the directors talk to hugh and how hugh speaks directly to multiple set members makes me feel like half the cuts they had to make was because of him joking and being a silly theater kid LMAO

Everyone randomly dancing all the time, including old magneto.

James too. The blooper of him violently killing a bug on the chess set in the plane scene is so "insane charles" iconic.

Also poor Evan peters. He kept slipping everywhere. And theres so many shots where hes just standing there in charater getting absolutely soaked while charles and Logan do some ridiculous shit lol. Him at panels is so awkward too. Describe your character " hes a little weird uhhhh hes fast. Hes quick. He talks fast he runs fast..... uhhh its like at the atm waiting for the bastard infront of you to move out the way" "I wish my dad magneto could try these 😀" "thats my dad"

Evan also wishes they would have done the scene in apocalypse where he tells him hes his son and all the metal in the room drops. Im someone has written this already but that sounds great.
