#homestuck#dave strider#pkmn#mashup#siivagunner#not officially but. in spirit#hs#i didnt have to change any key signatures at all btw which is surprising#i didnt need to adjust anything beyond the tempo of the notes from two different midi files#but like lining up with the measures and transitions thats all natural overlap#i mean i literally ripped the route 216 midi and soundbank straight from the game myself#and i did some minor adjustments on a davesprite midi someone made using it as a base so it sounds good in this context#like altering some chords and putting in some compound meters to fit with the percussion of route 216#AND sound more like the original davesprite because the original midi kinda fell flat in really small places flow-wise#but i dont blame them its hard to place the notes out in a way that has good flow#i also altered some bass parts to be consistent with the davesprite melody

btw!! if anybody has decided to join PCE and wants the site to be a little easier on the eyes (since its base color is a bright white, and i personally can't look at that for too long, but dark mode is too dark...) and also happens to use the stylus plugin (or anything that lets you add in some css of your own)

I should probably stop using the dying 10 year old laptop to do all my digital painting on because I post a drawing like "OK good enough" and then look at it again later on a better monitor and am like What the FUCK happened
#The drawing I just posted was much more neon pink and less bisexual flag colors. Also a lot of the shadow it turns out is dark blue#and not the intended black. Oh well#Made some minor adjustments but it is what it is#The thing is like I'm too lazy to go through all the effort of installing the tablet driver and drawing software on my newer#laptop so it's just like. I got the first one for free and it's still chugging might as well use it until it is literally nonfunctional

Just spent several minutes agonizing over the timeline of Accidental Siblings and tweaked parts of my fic yet again to match the canonical timeline better
#back when i first wrote it i had no idea of when anything happened at all post-wc#and i didn't give enough of a damn to properly research#sue me i was 17#so anyone who's read the very FIRST version of accidental siblings up to chapter 19 or 20 before my 6-year hiatus#you will know i very heavily changed the first part of the fic that had the most frequent references to the time of year it was#which in turn changed some of the scenes i wrote early on because the reasoning for certain plot points no longer made sense#it was nothing i didn't find a way to work around but still#i like being canon compliant very much so that's why i had to rework so much of the fic before i could share it on my page back in january#and even now i'm still making minor adjustments to fix the inconsistencies#ahhhhhhh it bothers me so much#sorry to anyone reading that may be thrown off by the changes but they had to be made!#i thought that even if the timeline wasn't super compliant i would be fine with that#but i don't wanna commit to an incorrect timeline so sorry#anyway lemme stop rambling hhhhh#kuroko no basket#knb fanfic#accidental siblings
