Now more than ever we must stand with those who are persecuted for the colour of their skin. We must not forget. We must stand in solidarity with protestors. We mustn’t forget where we came from.

DEAR FOLLOWERS; if any of you have a problem with me speaking out in favor and supporting the BLM movement, and if none of you have a problem with what happened with George Floyd, UNFOLLOW ME RIGHT NOW! What happened to that man was a disgusting act of disgrace! What keeps happening to the black citizens of America is non-human and changes need to be made!
Fully expect me under the full moon this Friday to perform spells against all this hatred. Join me, please. Their suffering needs to end.
(also please note, the picture above is not mine and I do not claim it. It was shared in a witch group on facebook that welcome’d anyone to share it. Please feel free to share it amongst your posts as well! Blessed Be!)

I'm seeing a lot of people posting Black Lives Matter memes with messages that say if you are in the business of conjure and don't post one of these memes, you have no business in the business. While I agree with the sentiment, I'm wondering where all y'all were when I was posting Voudou Resistance information and no one shared or had nary a comment about it over three years ago? . Or where all y'all were when I was addressing white against Black, Indian and Hispanic violence in Iowa 25 years ago? . Or where y'all were in the 60s during the Civil Rights movement, or the American Indian Movement in the 1970s? . Some of you are just waking up to the real life issues of people of color. White proprietors all of a sudden have Black Lives Matter candles and post some antiracism comments and everyone is all supportive of the cause. Putting them on some sheroic pedestal. I'm sorry, but no. You should have been with us a long fucking time ago. . I want to see what y'all do beyond a fucking meme. Go ahead, show me. #VoudouResistance #antiracism #witchesagainstracism #whatsinyourconjure (at Prescott, Arizona) https://www.instagram.com/p/CA33zEiAKfL/?igshid=1m3ora7ay8d9x

My account is a safe place for ALL races and ALL colours. If you don’t agree, please go ahead and unfollow me.
For petitions, donations and important resources:
www.blacklivesmatter.carrd.co
I’d love to help and support it as well, so let me know if you’d be interested in buying a print from me. 100% funds will be donated.
Now, I encourage all influencers and Instagram users to speak up and not stay silent. Any help is always a help.
Racism issue is very personal to me as well. I was (and still am) discriminated many times because of my nationality. People tend to bully others, with any skin colour, even the same one they have. It’s okay to dislike certain attitude or behaviour, but hating someone only for the skin colour or where they come from, is close minded and stupid.

“This is something that too many yt folks refuse to understand. You CANNOT be anti-racist without concrete, tangible, and direct action. It is a daily conscious and firm choice to be anti-racist. There is no room to skirt by on your privilege or to sugarcoat anything to your children. Anti-racism requires that you be clear, upfront, unwavering, and wildly aggressive in your advocacy and education. No excuses. No hiding.” @3tokenbrowngirls . . [Image text . Every yt person fits into one of these three categories: - actively racist - passively racist - actively anti-racist Notice there's no option for passively anti-racist? That's because it's not possible. If you aren't being actively anti-racist, you are being passively racist. Working with deities is always full of surprises.
I started working with Brigid in 2010/11, and she feels very ‘motherly’ to me (I think this is to do with the healing aspects of her, as I didn’t have a very good relationship with my mother).
In 2017, I was sitting outside admiring the stars in the night sky and BAM - the face of a man with blue eyes, long black hair, and pale skin filled my mind’s eye. I’d always associated the moon as something female, so it was very strange to have a male presence introduce itself. After some research, I settled on acknowledging this vision as Mani.
This year I have been trying to mediate more and started trying out astral projection. I’m not very good at it, but I have always done a lot of lucid dreaming (I’d say I have more lucid dreams than dream-dreams). One night, I was doing an exploration and came across a woman with a big ol’ pointy crown who looked surprised to see me. I did some research and decided this was Hecate, even though I was very reluctant to go into the Greek pantheon because I don’t have genetic ancestry to the Greek people, and I’m conscious of avoiding ‘collecting’ deities.
Anyway, I was doing some BLM work for the full moon and I thought I’d ask Mani, Brigid, and Hecate for their consent to use them in my work. Mani is more of my ‘spirit friend’, so didn’t really mind if he was included; Hecate was all up for it; and Brigid didn’t want to be involved because she didn’t think it would make a difference. I used my pendulum, intuition, and lunar oracle cards to interpret this. Brigid said she would be OK working on my self-healing, shadow work, and creative writing.
Didn’t expect that from her, but now it explains why so many bees died after I forced her to help me with a spell I did a few nights before for the same BLM reasons.

In addition to the National Resources List, which provides a variety of information on Black history, anti-racism, bail funds, trans funds, mental health resources, as well as other ways you can learn how to help, I'm also adding a link to GLAAD's LGBTQ+ Resource List in my bio. GLAAD has been doing phenomenal work since the 80s, especially "around education, language, and representation in the media" (thank you @rorygory). https://www.glaad.org/resourcelist Also, huge thank you to @trauma.informed.selfhealing for the template! 🙏🏻🖤✨ #witchesagainstwhitesupremecy #witchesfortransrights #witchesforlgbtq #witchesagainstracism #witchesforblacklives #witchesforequality #witchesforjustice #witchesforracialjustice #witchesforblacklivesmatter https://www.instagram.com/p/CBof355H4Ad/?igshid=jpnvygdjt1es

Doing some Work and some work today on Juneteenth. I’m not going to sit here and act like I didn’t just learn what Juneteenth was until a few years ago. What we didn’t know in the past doesn’t matter, what we know now, what we learn, and what we choose to do with that knowledge is what matters. I will tell you, I have been guided not to share a photo of the Work I’m doing today, but I did share a couple elements here. I will say this: 1. Angrily calling the office of a U.S. senator is a great way to raise a lot of magical energy quickly. 2. “Remove all obstacles to the Emmitt Till Anti-Lynching Bill” is a chant that rolls easily off the tongue. I believe in human rights. The first Juneteenth was in 1865 to celebrate the end of slavery, but before anyone pats themselves on the back, I was born in 1965, and we have since flown to space regularly, have computers in our pockets, and lynching black people is not only still happening, but the federal government is being held up by one senator to act on this making it a federal crime. This. Will. Not. Stand. #juneteenth #bethechange #makeadifference #morethanhope #humanrights #witchesagainstracism #blacklivesmatter https://www.instagram.com/p/CBoXidoHF4C/?igshid=ufj06gf689td

For those who now consider Itailian-Americans "white"--understand it wasn't always so. The largest mass lynching in U.S. history took place in New Orleans in 1891 and it wasn't African-Americans who were lynched, as many of us might assume. It was Italian-Americans. . After nine Italians were tried and found not guilty of murdering New Orleans Police Chief David Hennessy, a mob dragged them from the jail, along with two other Italians being held on unrelated charges, and lynched them all. The lynchings were followed by mass arrests of Italian immigrants throughout New Orleans, and waves of attacks against Italians nationwide. What was the reaction of our country's leaders to these lynchings? Teddy Roosevelt, not yet president, famously said it was "a rather good thing." The response in The New York Times on March 16, 1891 referred to the victims of the lynchings as "... sneaking and cowardly Sicilians, the descendants of bandits and assassins." An editorial the next day argued that: "Lynch law was the only course open to the people of New Orleans. ..." John Parker, who helped organize the lynch mob, later went on to be governor of Louisiana. In 1911, he said of Italians that they were "just a little worse than the Negro, being if anything filthier in [their] habits, lawless, and treacherous.”

PLEASE DO NOT FORGET WHERE YOU COME FROM OR YOUR PEOPLES STRUGGLES. We cannot forget our fights against racism and cannot turn against the fight now. Now is time more than ever to remember our roots and support those who suffer far worse than we have in a time when we have the protection of our skin color and others are murdered for theirs.
