So yeah, I finished the drawing of Asha's redesign from Wish :D, maybe I'll make some changes in the future, but I'm happy to have finished it, it should be noted that I haven't seen the movie. , so I can't give my opinion on it yet, but I found it very interesting that their fandom is mainly made up of people who rewrote or made their own version of the movie, they are all very creative and it got me out of an artistic block. that I had a few months ago, but above all I found the rewriting of @annymation which is the one I have been most hooked on, so I wanted to do some redesigns of the characters coming out of its rewriting, that's why everything that has to do with the story of this version of Asha, as well as her personality and her world on which I base my drawing are the ideas and work of this account: @annymation

I'm just making a drawing of her character and how I would design her as well as sharing part of the process I had to do to draw her because, why not?

BOARD:

The first thing I had to do was put together a table full of references that reminded me of the character and things that I would like to add to her design, so I used milanote to do it:

-Looked for some Asha's concept art and save the ones I liked the most, and add the main colors that I used in the design. -I also created notes to write down the personality of the character and some of his data to have a better guide, I did a little research and found publications that talked a lot about Asha's discarded designs and how Disney workers had put that she had tribe ancestry Amazigh on his mother's side and since his father was from the Iberian Peninsula, that's why the next thing I wanted to do is research more about their culture. -I am not an expert on this topic, nor do I belong to the cultures from which Asha has ancestry, so you can comment on any correction regarding this topic, I wanted to implement details of this culture to her design and I would really like to give a correct representation :)

HAIRSTYLE

Continuing with the theme, I saw that the hairstyles in the Amazigh culture mostly had this type of colorful decorations on their braids and dreadlocks, that's why I also posted these reference photos for Asha's hairstyle.

-Finally I decided that Asha would not have all her hair full of braids or dreadlocks, but only a few accompanied by these decorations with a great variation of colors, although it was fun to sketch the many hairstyle options that I had in mind based on these concept art and other photos that I had saved

TATTOOS:

-Another detail that I liked was giving Asha some tattoos with designs from the Amazigh culture, because I saw that it was quite common for women to get them, the tattoo on her forehead is a symbol of protection against bad influences, that's why the The middle symbol is responsible for deflecting it in the 4 directions, I also added a similar one in Asha's right hand.

ASTROLOGY AND THE SPACE:

-An important part of Asha's rewrite is her knowledge of astronomy inherited from her father, especially with the stars for obvious reasons xd, so in addition to adding constellations to her dresses, research the meaning (or something like that) of the planets. Only 3 really reminded me of the character, which were: -Mars: Symbolization of the internal conquering function of moving forward, independent, self-determined, enduring failures with new energy, courage and energy to fight for your desires. -Saturn: Maturity, effort to solidly build realistic criteria, frustrations are transformed into objectives to continue growing, critical and realistic, far from getting frustrated when an objective does not work, you strive to move forward and obtain even more resistant and solid achievements, perseverance , and tenacity (I feel like yhis it the most similar to Asha :D) -Moon: protective role, feeling very vulnerable outside your known areas, feeling of security with your ties, importance of family ties. The one that reminded me the most of Asha was Saturn, that's why I drew those Saturn-shaped earrings :).

SUITS:

I looked for references and placed some on milanote, I noticed that the concept art was mainly divided into whether the dresses have lilac colors or warm colors, I decided to draw 2 models based on the discarded designs, although at first I thought of using only one color palette lilac and bluish, I realized that the reddish colors of her dress reminded me of Mars which has certain meanings that in my opinion coincide with Asha's personality. In the end I didn't decide what wardrobe she would primarily have 😅, but I like to think that in this version of Wish, Asha would have wardrobe and hairstyle changes like in some older Disney movies.

I am satisfied with the result, it was fun to make all this, although what I researched mostly seems little, it actually cost me several hours and I did it at night, so as a funny fact the next day I was explaining all this information to my mother and I felt like I looked like that:

So who were my victims of this experiment?

As expected, my avatar was my alter ego Temmie, and for our mega partner/boyfriend we chose his alter ego Sans from Freedomtale!

Since the path is completely new and unfamiliar to me, I desperately searched on YouTube for all kinds of videos and tutorials, as a result of which I found the most understandable and enjoyable series of videos from Lazu-Tan, which I mainly relied on when making avatars

Next, having found it on the Internet and installed the necessary programs on the laptop, I scribbled sketches that would later grow into models:3

after this stage there is a boring process of drawing the models directly, grouping a bunch of layers (a separate layer was needed for each moving object, such as separate layers for each strand of hair and grouping into a common group with hair. This was an unusual thing and made me really strain my brain)

Having saved both files in .psd format, I put them into a new program called Life2D! I needed this program to create animations of the very layers that I had distributed and grouped earlier. head turns, hair physics, eye blinks, additional emotions - this is all the merit of the great Life2D and those 43 days of the trial of the full version, which he so kindly provided me with for creativity... in fact, I thank you for the conditional “deadline”, because without it, God knows when I would have finished this project under other circumstances

When working, there were a lot of problems due to insufficient knowledge about the operation of the application, which is why sometimes I felt like a would-be programmer who couldn’t find an error in his code for several days (I tried to program, I know what I’m talking about)

It would seem hurray, everything is ready! however, here the finishing touches await us.

Those additional emotions (like blush, stars, tears) that should be activated by assigned keys must first be configured through a separate program that is installed with Life2D

in general, the procedure is not complicated, and I even found it somewhat pleasant

After this, the models can be considered ready, they just need to be put into the files of an application such as Vitube Studio, after which you can play your character at the camera or use them for streaming or making videos!

It was an ultra-mega interesting experience, and I will not hesitate to say this, and I am proud of the results:3

This kid of mine used to be a people-pleaser. However, she eventually got tired of being one and decided to be unapologetically herself. Naturally, it wasn't an overnight thing, but to sum it up, that's what practically happened 🤫

Most of the time, Val treats people how she wants to be treated; not that she expects it, but it's something she'd be thankful for if the energy of the exchange is reciprocated.

Well, I've been wanting to share more of canon Ale since I realized he has more AU contents than canon 🤣 As much I as enjoy the meddling pathetic lover boy that he is in AUs but Ale might sulk that I'm not defending him 🤣🫂

So here we go:

Fun fact! I actually have a more detailed lore for Ale than for Val. But for some reason, I haven't shared much of his lore yet XD

Let's talk about Ale regarding romantic love.

Ale is definitely romantic. He knows all the words to say, the gestures to do, and how to make his partner feel like they're literally the best. He's the human form of the word 'romantic' if I'm being dramatic.

Ever since his first year in Hogwarts, the ladies really fancies him (even the lads aren't safe from his charm). His energy naturally draws people towards him.

If I had to describe Ale in 5 words it would be: charming, classy, suave, playful, and gentleman. From those words itself, you can already tell why the ladies like him so much XD

To add on, he is a huge flirt. He can literally flirt his way out of almost anything. Despite that, Ale usually just flirts for fun or just because it comes so naturally to him that he forgets he comes off as flirting.

But underneath that flirty exterior is just a boy wishing to have a real connection with someone someday. It's safe to say that he daydreams about finding the one and even makes poems about it sometimes.

The funny thing is that once he meets his 'the one', suddenly he turns into a clumsy and stuttering mess. Meeting Val during his fifth year is something he isn't prepared for at all.

For instance, there's this narrative he keeps telling himself that there's no way he's gonna meet the love of his life in school since he already met everyone (boy is sociable af it's not even funny 🤣). Sure, he had like a few crushes back then but he knows that there's nothing really more to it than admiration. But meeting Val, that really caught him off guard.

Luckily, they eventually became best friends since they have a lot in common in their core values and their traits are complementary so it's fun and enriching.

There was actually a point in their 6th year when he got so sure that he and Val actually had a chance (he wasn't wrong tho 🤫). But teenage love is messy, so some things happened that were out of his control and out of his perspective as well that changed the course.

Now here's the fun part 😈

Then in the 7th year, here's when Valreth became a thing.

On the contrary to the AUs (which I love btw 🤭), Ale never meddled in Val's relationship with Garreth. WOW surprising 🤣 but yes, he never did.

He supported them because in his defense, "if she's happy and safe, then that's all I need to know."

Although, he actually dislikes Garreth even before meeting Val. But I'll try not to drop spoilers too much 🤫 (it's just an academic-related thing 🤣).

For that whole year, Ale focused more on his studies and spent an unholy amount of time on his poems instead. As much as he's content with the friendship he has with Val, he decides to just listen to his heart shatter into pieces in silence and with nature.

Hina Time! Spoilers Ahead of course!

Starting with her casual design, I really wanted to ensure it had the energy of her original while having it's own vibe to it. A part of me really wanted to keep the red in her outfit since I like associating Aoi with that striking red jacket she had in the first game. However, everything just didn't seem to mesh so I went with a green. I do think that if I drew her in other outfits though, she'd definitely bring back the red. Plus, I am biased and I like Hina in red in general. In regards to the specific details in her attire though, I of course had to give her some Sakura rep, thus the little Sakura flower she has in her hair. Feel it fits with the cute vibes I feel Hina would still enjoy as an older woman but also it being a way to remember Sakura in her memory. Additionally, I gave her a little bracelet in line with the Komaru friendship bracelet idea I had. I like to think that Komaru and Hina would hang out a lot more in the future, bonding and maybe working out together. One last thing I would like to bring up with her design is her shoes which seem a bit weird to mention at first but I feel it's important to mention them. Essentially, I sorta have a headcanon about Hina and her brother Yuta in regards to their shoes. I like to think that Hina likes the color red and Yuta liked green, maybe it being something more in line when they were kids. But anyway, a headcanon I developed recently is that, either starting when they were young, the two would ensure they wore something to remind themselves of each other whenever they weren't together. Perhaps it started as a way for Hina to help calm her brother when they were kids as the bigger sister and it stuck around as just a thing they did. Feel it fits in line with the siblings too as both Yuta and Hina had that quirk of remembering people's names by writing them on their hands multiple times. So I basically gave Hina shoe angst a bit but also as a way to remember her brother like she did with Sakura and the Sakura flower. Hope all of that made sense btw. I tried my best -_- Moving on to her work attire, I simply put her in a swim suit with a slaveless jacket to spice it up a bit. I see Hina in the future still willing to do stuff relating to her swimming. Perhaps she's a swim teacher of some sort at Makoto's new and improved Hopes Peak. Maybe she just has her own swimming place. Honestly I haven't decided quite yet though I lean towards the former. Additional details about this design is that I had her put her hair a bit back. Felt it was a nice way to differentiate her hair and also have her look a bit put together. Also I feel it'd be a good example for any of her swim students.

In regards to her physic, she's fairly unchanged, a strong gal with a bit of an hourglass figure. Compared to the other girls, I see her being the strongest being a swimmer and one to keep up with her fitness. I also like to imagine she hangs out with Hiro sometimes and makes pottery with him since I see that as a hobby for him. And screw it. Maybe Hina has mastered the art of making her own donuts with protein in them cus she's just cool like that. Now I wish I knew how to draw more defined muscles hahaah! Some other things to note is that I gave her curly hair. I like to think she used to straighten it back then. No real reason. Just a headcanon. Though one can also see this as her curling her hair too. Also, I gave her a cute floral pattern for her undergarments just cus. Would say they are also Sakura flowers but I feel that'd be a bit much. Think the cute flower's enough. Also I would have given her donuts but I dunno. I guess when I drew her in this I just didn't think of that or just didn't feel like it. She totally would own some fun patterned garments for fun though.

For the most part I had a tone of fun working on Hina. Wish it didn't take me a month to go back to finishing everything but I'm just glad she's free from purgatory as unfinished drafts in Clip Studio Paint! (1) | (8)

About myself: I have a love-hate relationship with my grit. Mostly because I know I was born talentless in all aspects (no exaggeration), so every creative endeavor I have is 99% hardwork. And no, my parents don't have writing or drawing skills. I don't need to explain how my mom only knows how to draw "v" birds or how my dad isn't great at English. Absolute shame on them. (jk I love my family, I wish I could just pass my lifespan to hem HAHAHA). So when all hardwork fails, I feel like absolute shit. Second thing probably is my faith. I think I wouldn't be here if I didn't have some level of trust with the universe overall. The rest of me is garbage tho lmao. If I'm an otome game character, I'm 100% the beloved and beloathed trash husbando /srs.

About @leftdestiny-posts: I'm not sure I'd ever encounter an internet mutual like them ever again, and I think their appreciation for life and bluntness/straightforwardness is something to be admired. They're traits I don't have. Shiro and I are very very different people, and I'm not sure why there was a miracle that made us meet lol.

About @a-dose-of-phitre and @estellxli: longest friends I have. I really admire their creativity and skill, and if you want me to be honest, I know full well I'm left behind in those departments. If you know me irl, I'm not exactly the most affectionate person so I'd rather keep this part brief haha. Though, a small addition, I admire estella's communication skills and assertiveness a ton and I wish I had a bit more of Phitre's endearing charm and mannerisms (and height-). I'm super stiff lol.

Since I've become a dungeon master, I create my own campaign setting. There are five worlds, each of them has its own features, history, races, etc. But there's also a unique race common in four of five worlds - cergals. They share the same background, and even the pantheon of gods shares the same names and features.

I will add tags #The Five Worlds and #The Legends of Inskaar to mark every post with characters and lore from my setting.

I've never drawn all of the gods, but here are two of them, and some of them are planned. But you'll never see the Great Architect because the Great Architect is me :D Ofc I'm joking, I wish to draw him someday.

⬆ This is Zereassus - the Supreme God of Creation. The title is wrong but he is worshipped as the divine father of the living, so his name is a tradition across the Five Worlds. Traditionally depicted with five eyes, each of them gazing at its own world. Zereassus' horns hold a ringed planet this god represents (the Five Worlds are the moons of a gas giant, rotating on their axis due to the forces of magic, which is additional to regular laws of physics).

⬆ This is Aelian - the goddess and creator of the world of technology which is unique among the Five Worlds. Its people exclude cergals (they actually were there but disappeared after the magical accident caused by the mages of Yst tried to raise to godhood but failed (nod to Magisters Sidereal, ahahah), and this influenced the whole world and the nearest one, Aelian), there's the one and only existing race (aelians btw), they can't cast spells like other races do that, because each use of magic shortens their life, so they are good at tech, and have the power of creation - the only case in the Five Worlds - to give the life and consciousness to their creations. Can you imagine the sentient spacecraft? Yeah, they can make such!

Aaaaaaaand here is the cherry on top of the cake: the creation myth.

In the beginning, there was chaos. And chaos once gave birth to the Great Architect whose goal was to establish order in the Universe. And the Architect created space and time, turned chaos into matter, and created stars from that matter, and told them: "I give you the abilities to create life by your own design. Fill the world and transform it." That's how the first gods appeared. The Architect turned himself into energy and dispersed throughout the universe, but he did not cease to exist.

The Architect's two children, Zereassus and Qntaraan, space and time, were inseparably linked and could not exist without each other. They decided to continue the divine kind according to the Architect's design and created five children of their own - Zer, Otann, Yst, Xass and Aelian. That wasn't enough for Zereassus, and he wanted to create something else. Keeping it from Qntaraan, he planned to create more gods in his own image, and brought his plan to life. That's how the first cergals appeared. Each of them had three eyes.

However, it did not escape the eyes of Qntaraan. She became enraged and said: "Don't you have enough of what we do together? You shouldn't have created anything without me, it violates the order that the Architect designed! In that case, I will take away eternity and infinity from your children, they will not find shelter and will wander alone in the universe, giving birth to the same creatures in their doomed existence, whose life will be short! And you won't see me anymore!" At that moment, cergals lost their connection with the gods, their immortality, and their third eye.

The sorrow of Zereassus was great, it was painful to see his own children die. And then Zer, Otann, Yst, Xass and Aelian came to Zereassus, and said: "You have inspired us and given our lives the meaning, Father, we will create life ourselves similar to life you created, as the Great Architect created it himself. They sacrificed themselves, many nations were born from their blood, and the five gods turned their bodies into planets. Zereassus mourned for them, then gathered the planets around him, and swore he would look after all of them, and protect them and the people living on them.

Seeing this sacrifice, other gods came to Zereassus. The God, born among the stars, and named Anareth, said: "Your children and your children's children will not perish from the cold, I will give them warmth, light and my love" and turned into the Sun. The god, born at the moment when Qntaraan cursed the children of Zereassus to death by the power of her rage, and named Kiln, said: "I will stand guard over life and death so Qntaraan won’t be able take the souls of your children and your children's children." The God, born from the Architect's energy, able to control it, read the divine plans, and named Oris, said: "I will fill the homes of your children and your children's children with my power and teach them how to control it."

Qntaraan learned of the sacrifice of her and Zereassus' children, turned to chaos in great anger, and began to produce disembodied and soulless creatures in an attempt to create her own army, which would bring an end to the world created by Zereassus without her participation. The disembodied only dreamed of taking over the bodies of mortals, while the soulless aimed to obtain their souls. But the powers of the Great Architect, dispersed throughout the universe, prevented her plans from becoming a reality and have been keeping the goddess in a jail at the edge of the universe ever since.

Things that could make wish a better movie, and more rant stuff

Magnífico seems to be evil for the sake of being evil, he has a point, and he was the authority..... So why was he so cartoonish. He never felt like a king, and the authority that he should hold.

You can be a narcissist and not be evil. It seems that he cares more about himself rather than having a place to live in peace (without taking into account the kingdom, just thinking is a good life)

I was expecting a sad song when Asha ran to the tree, why was she so happy, your core beliefs as part of society just got destroyed.

It could have been such a great story if Asha granted everyone's wish, and that turned wrong. Like, this has good consequences and bad consequences, but you never stopped to see the bad thing and now you have to think how to solve this.

This could lead to the MAIN CORE OF THE ORIGINAL DISNEY MOVIES, like Cinderella, to grant a wish to good people that really need help, not to everyone, and not to every good person. You need to be critical to choose which wish to grant (and how you're going to grant it), but with a new perspective.

We didn't need a song full of singing animals. The song doesn't explain much about the star. It just feels like they're throwing a philosophy to everyone.

Magnífico was so powerful, but when he thought there was a single menace related to magic it looked like his first option was the book. He didn't even go to see what happened.

I wanted more meaningful situations between Asha and her family.

I wanted the mother to retrieve her wish, to be "I appreciate that you wanted to return my gift, but gived it to the King for a reason, I like rosas and this is what I gave to live here" and gave it back when he magnífico arrived at her home. To prove that she respects her king.

If the goat was an old goat it could lead to a cute scene, where Valentino talks to Asha about something that he knows about her father but she doesn't know. Maybe a moment where her father helped him, or talked about something important, leading to a revelationor emotional grow (Like Tadashi video in BH6 or Tiana with Facilier, at the end of the movie)

Less jokes because he was a naive new born goat, that doesn't add much to the plot.

The target audience in this movie is confusing. It's supposed to be a kid move first and a family movie second..... But I doubt that any kid from this generation has seen snow white. I don't know how to fully articulate this point tho. I wanted it to be a gratitude letter to all the people that had been watching them for the last 40 years (or more). The only person he's able to impress is himself, but that seems to be enough for him.

Few people can appreciate that, and I am constantly reminded that you are one of them. I would give anything to have you here by my side and watch you fill your journal with pictures of all of those small wonders nature has to offer.

My heart is aching in ways I never thought possible. The fates of my previous letters are unknown to me and I doubt you will receive this one either, yet I’m still choosing to make a fool of myself for one last time and tell you this: you will always be in my heart. Even though sometimes it felt like I was throwing myself against a stone wall, the man I saw through the cracks made up for everything. I want you to know that your friendship meant the world to me. It still does, and I regret not telling you sooner.

State of The Starry Path Hotel #4 (March 1st 2024)

Hello! Welcome to the fourth installment of the State of The Starry Path and the first one in March! I thought about doing a monthly wrap up but considering I didn’t get much done in February, I decided against it. OKAY NOW ONTO THE UPDATE!

Mini Life Update

It feels like I have so little time these days. I needed to help do some fixes for the main assignments of my capstone project so that took up most of my time and energy for the first part of the week. Then I was focused on assignments for my other classes for the rest of the week and before I knew it, it was Friday again. Man, I wish I had more time in general. 

On the bright side, I will be on break for next week! I can finally relax and take some time for myself. While I will need to do some school related things during my break, the fact that I do not need to go to class means I can focus on relaxing, playing video games, and content creation of course!

Content Creation Progress Update

So I ended up not really thinking about content creation at all this week. I feel terrible about it but what can I do besides move forward? Thankfully, I will be off of school for the following week so I can get some work done on YouTube videos.

This Week’s Goals

Make an ideas list and write down a minimum of 5 ideas: This goal is a holdover from last week but since I will not be in school, I will have more time to devote to it this week. 

Choose 1 idea and start a video script for it: Once I finish writing down some ideas, I’m going to choose one and start writing a script for it. Unfortunately I won’t be able to record any audio or gameplay because I won’t have my main PC with me, but 

Research editing software: I’m going to look for a free or low cost editing software that I can use to make videos. Even though I won’t be able to test it while on my break, I can still install it when I come back to my PC. 

This Month’s Goals

Make one YouTube video: I want to make a Youtube video this month even if it’s terrible. The majority of the weekly goals are going to be focused on this for the month.

This Year’s Goals

Get monetized on YouTube: I want to eventually make money off of my content so I’m hoping to get monetized on YouTube this year. This is going to be a tall order, but I hope I can keep working towards this with my weekly and monthly goals!

Become an Affiliate on Twitch: Despite making Twitch less of a priority, I still want to be able to become an affiliate on Twitch. While I do need to find a way to meet the seven days streaming requirement, I want to be able to draw in viewers first. 

Gain 100 followers on any social media besides YouTube or Twitch: I actually am over halfway to 100 followers on Twitter as of writing this, but I still don’t get a ton of engagement on my post. In addition, most of the followers I have gotten are those annoying GFX bots and it’s a little bit disheartening. I also want to build up a following on Tumblr and Bluesky as well! 

Make a community Discord server: Once I build up a community, I want to create a Discord server for people to hang out in. However, I want to wait until there is a demand for a Discord server. This goal is lower priority compared to the other goals but I hope that this does end up happening this year!

Final Thoughts

I can’t wait to be able to relax and not have to think about school all the time this week. Hopefully this month I can hit the ground running and actually be able to finish the goals I set out for myself this week. Also I do want to make an announcement regarding streams for the next couple of weeks. I will not be streaming tomorrow or next Saturday. Since I am planning on going back to my parent’s house, I will need to spend tomorrow preparing for the drive there and then the following Saturday is when I’m planning on coming back, so I do not want to pressure myself to get back in time for a stream. My next stream will be on Saturday March 16th at 2 PM EST. However, I will make sure to write a blog post for next week! Anyway, I hope your stay was bright and your journey is filled with light!

I got the apple tv 7 day trial and I'm speedrunning watching all their popular shows

As the title suggests, I've been binge watching a lot of shows :)

A friend of mine was streaming Silo on discord and we got a couple episodes in before he had to leave for the night. But I got stuck on where the plot was going so of course I signed up for the trial just to finish it.

I don't want to give any spoilers of course in case someone hasn't seen it, its all finished for the season though, 10 episodes. Each episode is an hour long too which is good for my attention span, sometimes when theyre too short it gets annoying with the intros.

Anyway I would recommend, I think what really drew me to it was the atmosphere? I love that kinda retro futuristic energy that it caries sometimes, definitely grungier though with all the concrete. Silly, one of the first things I noticed was the tiles that they use in the kitchens, the colored oval kinds.

Also the outfits? Most are mid but some stood out to me. I mostly appreciated the uniforms? (tbh kinda giving attack on titan but its ok). Also really liked one of the characters they introduced towards the end (nothing major plot wise dont worry I dont think its a spoiler) the ginger one. He had good vibes, wish there were more characters like him. Maybe we'll encounter more in the coming season.

I also finished the season they have out of severence. This is one that I've seen people complaining about with the writers strike and everything. People are worried its just going to get canceled entirely. Which would be a shame because I do think the premise is pretty special. Feels current too. As someone who regularly fails to thrive in a regular 9-5 job, I can relate to the wish to completely separate yourself from the work place, idk if I'd let someone put a chip in me though.

Same comment as before though. the sets are super simple. Just the main room where the macrodata refinememt happens, some hallways, other departments and a couple homes. But they make a lot happen just with dialogue and some simple items. I appreciate the silly little additions like using elements that otherwise would have no use for the outside versions to become majorly useful or important for their innies. I'm trying really hard not to give spoilers but also talk about what I want lol. I'm excited to see what they can do with the next season, I was surpised what they did with Helly. I would have assumed it puts the plot into a wall but idk im sure they've got plans.

I'm currently watching that tom holland show, the crowded room? I'm about halfway through and I'm happy I stuck around, it really wasn't drawing me in at first.

Anywayyy those are all the thoughts that I had, nothing too exciting but at least now its not all just jumbled around in my head. :)

This show is overly scripted and dry. It gave enough for me to be mildly entertained but if Robyn is the cornerstone of the season, go back to the drawing board. It feels like the ladies have a checklist of things to address and they did.

Robyn- she's not getting fired, so put down your pitchforks. Robyn has a strong ally in Gizelle and even if she didn't, she fits in with the top players and does enough to keep her job. Plus, there aren't a lot of housewives qualified women, who actually live in Potomac, knocking down Bravo's door to play with their marriages, families, reputations, and/or livelihood. There is no replacement for Robyn so she stays. I laughed during her entire scene with Juan. If you like it, I love it. None of his excuses made sense and it was painful and not in a good way, like watching a low budget movie with bad acting, just painful. Robyn is the main breadwinner and they need her to stay employed, so of course he is going to show up more. I find it interesting that Robyn is okay with Juan calling the woman everyone thinks he is having an affair with "very beautiful." Maybe I missed something because I was multitasking but I don't recall Juan outright denying an affair. If Gizelle, Ashley, and Charrisse, want to stay friends, or at least cordial with Robyn, they need to allow their friend to be stupid in peace because in Robyn's mind, her relationship and Juan's lack of respect and discretion aren't the issue, it's people who can't mind the business who are the problem, so unless they want to see the nasty side of Robyn, I suggest they let it go.

Gizelle and that man- you wanted Gizelle with a man, so she bought one. Apparently, this is Jason's fourth show as a "boyfriend." This was painful to watch as well. Too scripted plus I don't believe they're having sex. There is a distinct energy that two people have when they've had sex and this ain't it. I hope Jason gets paid well, be it in coin or exposure.

Ashley- girl. I would say I don't know who is more delusional, you or Robyn but you're a close second. I don't think anyone can be more delusional than Robyn but for Ashley to believe she is playing Michael by staying married, okay girl. I will let you have it but Michael is winning. He knows that he just can't get rid of Ashley because it would be very expensive so he moved her into her own place, pays her a set amount, and can still play daddy when he feels like it. I will say that Ashley is a good mother. I love the relationship her boys are building.

Mia- I never believed Mia was the CEO because Gordon had the business way before he knew Mia but I can believe marketing director, since she has done interviews on behalf of the business before she was on RHOP but she was a gold digger who came up. I have nothing to really say about Mia and Gordon, except too bad, too sad. Mia has three kids, no rich man is taking that on but I believe she can be like Kim Zolciack and get a rich benefactor and a fake engagement ring but unless Mia snags a virginal tech nerd, no man is taking on all of that, especially a rich man with options.

Wendy-I will always say this about her, I wish she'd get off this show. I get it, she probably makes at least a quarter million off of this show, in addition to Eddie's income and her income from other things. The money allows her to pay down their student debt, build a nest egg, take care of family, and do other things but I want her to play long game. Wendy could be president of a university or something else. She has so much potential but she'd rather play in the mud with ladies who have not achieved a quarter of what she has. I get it but I don't.

Karen-next, same ol, same ol. Karen is a good foil against Robyn and Gizelle because she can hold her own, and go just as low without getting overly emotional.

Candiace- she and Chris are targets because Chris wants to be a reality star instead of a chef. I'm starting to think Candiace's mom isn't completely wrong. I think he gives off good guy energy and is a balance for Candiace, I'll give him that but has he stepped up to be there for all three of his kids and not just the two with the same mother? Has he had a consistent job over the years? He was a chef at a restaurant and because he essentially ran the place, he gets a percentage. I know people who have a percentage of a business, for whatever reason, but they are not owners, they get paid upon the sale. It's a thank you for your loyalty.

Charrisse- okay, girl. A common rebuttal for criticism against Charrisse is her connections but if she truly had them, she wouldn't be on this show.
