How You Met

The taiyaki were still hot in the white paper bag, the smell reminding you it was almost lunch time.

Looking the street up and down for a bus stop or a waiting taxi you turned on the spot. A little ways up the pathway you could make out the typical black boxy shape of a Tokyo taxi and readjusting your handbag you headed towards it, only for a busy looking person in a suit to snatch it up before you could reach it, muttering something about how you would be better off walking for some exercise.

In disbelief about such rudeness you shook your head, pulling your coat a little closer around your chubby form.

You were sure another taxi would take its place soon enough and got on tiptoes to examine the traffic, on the lookout for one.

A mischievous breeze blew up your coat collar, making you wish you would have worn a scarf after all. Although April was right around the corner, the weather today was icy cold.

Giving up for the time being you headed towards a little flower shop you had passed just a few meters back to warm yourself.

A bell chimed when you opened the door. Pots with regular and more exotic house plants stacked on shelves along the wall, one display case behind the counter held the fresh cut flowers while another showed already bound bouquets in varying sizes and color schemes.

The woman standing behind the cash register called a friendly greeting and held the beginnings of a new arrangement at arm's length to check for possible improvements.

"What can I do for you?", she asked, putting the flowers down and folding her hands over a small pregnant belly.

"I would like a bouquet with peonies and… some eucalyptus, please."

The woman smiled and got to work, asking here and there for specifics in color or fullness.

She was about to come to an end with the simple coral and cream bouquet when the doorbell rang again and a young man looking remarkably like a substitute literature teacher entered the shop, a phone to his ear.

"Yes, father, I am getting flowers. I’ll be there soon. Oh, actually, I might be a while, there are quite a lot of people waiting."

You heard an angry voice yelling something unintelligible from the phone, when he simply hung up and sighed. He reached to tug at his collar like it was too tight and closed his eyes for a second, then, remembering he was in public, gave a bow to you and the saleswoman and apologized.

"Please take as long as you want.", he said, almost pleadingly.

He looked like he had a headache, grabbing his collar again.

"O-on second thought,", you began, turning to the owner that was just about to add the last eucalyptus branch, "I forgot I wanted more. Silly me. Uhm, could you make one with… hmm, those blue ones, some of the small greens, those white tulips, and lots of those light blues there, please? And then another one… with those yellow ones there, there and those, too, please." Your best friends would be delighted.

"Oh", the owner caught on immediately, "that was quite a lot. I don’t think I could memorize which ones you wanted all at once."

"No problem. I can tell you one by one."

The young man gave a small grateful smile at the stage-play-like interaction, letting out a “Thank you very much” under his breath.

As the shop owner wrapped up the first bundle of flowers at snail speed, you turned to the young man, wanting to cheer him up.

"So, where do you not want to go?"

Seemingly too exasperated to care about talking to a perfect stranger he said, "A blind date. Which, by the way, isn't actually blind but with a woman I have absolutely no interest in talking to about anything."

"Oh fun.", you said and trying to lighten the mood added, "Why not bring some flowers that say Thanks for coming, I don’t wanna be here?"

Everyone laughed, but the guy stopped after a second or two, looking at you for the first time, then turned to the florist.

"Can I do that?"

She thought for a moment, then slowly nodded, "I can add some candytuft, for sure and… hm, something really neutral for… and then… maybe I still have some butterweed. Yeah, I think I can do that."

You stayed even after your third bouquet was done, keeping the conversation going, joking around and glad when the young man gave a genuine laugh.

"Let me.", he said, sounding tired, when you drew out your wallet to pay for your flowers.

You shook your head, smiled and handed your card to the owner. Then you reached into the paper bag.

The buns in the meantime had turned lukewarm, but still smelled heavenly when you fished one out in a napkin and handed it to the woman - the other still in the bag you placed on the counter for a moment, grabbing a pen from your pocket. You quickly jotted down your name and number on the paper and handed it to him.

“And here. If you need rescuing from your blind date, send me a text and I’ll call you right away with some made-up emergency.”

Then you raised your free hand that wasn’t busy balancing the flowers with a “You got this.” and after a final wave you left.

Akaashi was still staring at the door for a few long moments after you had gone.

“You’d make a cute couple.”, the saleswoman mused and grinned when the young man blushed profusely, holding tighter to the paper bag.

Soulmates? Such a thing, who would have thought that out of everyone in this whole world you got to be the one with 3 destined soulmates

Why did it just have to be you?

Traveling was your dream, a dream you wish to fulfill before you are not able to

Your parents disagree, saying you should stay with them so that you can settle down once you find your soulmate, you disagree

So you choose, either you stay and become miserable or you leave and fulfill your dream the only downside is you might not be able to know who your soulmate is

It was a risk but you wanted to accomplish your dream, and so you left

In the middle of the night while the colorless sky hung over you, it was a curse for you to not know what those around you look like till you find your soulmate

It was one of the things that help you know who your soulmate was, by looking in their eyes you will see a burst of colors all over you, lighting your once dull vision with vibrant and majestic colors—is what you heard from your friend

But alas you don't know how but you also have a mark more specifically a soulmate mark on your neck

It was a star with a crescent moon you don't know the color of it but according to your friends and family it was a night purple star with a midnight blue moon next to it

You covered it with a scarf so that no one can copy it again, so that the accident will not happen again

Well there was no time to dwell in the past, you are now approaching the land of freedom Monsdant it was beautiful even if you were not able to identify the colors of it, for you it was magnificent and that was enough for the time being

Arriving in Mondstadt was easy considering it was night, even tho the knights that were guarding the gate reluctantly agreed in letting you in due to the time, but thanks to this blonde woman who just so happens to be passing by

Jean was just passing by, inspecting everything before going home when she saw you at the gate talking—more like arguing—with the guard, she decided to step in and know what was happening

So despite her own opinion she reluctantly agreed on guiding you to a nearby inn to let you settle in for the night

"Thank you very much miss! I don't know what I would have done have you not step in to help me!" you said enthusiastically, she merely observed you before speaking

"It was nothing, but please be advised that leaving and entering the city at night will arise our suspicion to you, so please bear in mind that you will not do this again" she voiced out, strictly but gently at the same time

"I understand, but if I may be bold, what is your name?" you asked making her smile gently "I am the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonious, welcome to Mondstadt traveler from a far" she did her salute with a warm smile "I will be going now, take care and may the wind guide you" she said before turning to leave

"Ah right, I wish to see you tomorrow at my office, please be at ease that I only wish to confirm something from you and regarding your arrival here" she added before waving and leaving you alone

Puzzled you just shrugged your shoulders and went inside the in to logged yourself a room to rest for the night

You sighed, dreading the next to arrive but at the same time, you were excited to explore yet another region in Teyvat, you wanted to learn more about everything here and around the whole world

Sleep soon took over you and the next time you opened your eyes it was already morning, the sun was shining and the sky was clear 'Perfect for exploring' you thought and left the bed to get yourself ready

Once outside you asked the people where the Knights of Favonious headquarters are, when you successfully arrived you notice a variety of people in different clothing around the headquarters

Confused you asked around and saw the same guard that stopped you at the gate last night walking around, most likely patrolling the area

"Umm, excuse me?" you waved at him, he then stopped and looked at you "Ohh, it's you again the gal from last night, what are you doing here?" he asked looking at you

"Oh, the lad– no sorry, I mean the Acting Grand Master asked for me to come here today, but I was wondering what is all the commotion about? There are so many people here" you said while looking around looking at the people

"I see, yes you are right, the Tianquan of Liyue is currently here hence the millileth are also here, the ones in dark clothing are here for the Fair Lady from Sheneznaya, I don't know why they are here, but you should got to the Acting Grand Master, she must be looking for you right about now" he then bid you farewell after a couple of 'thanks' coming from you

You then head towards the doors and went inside, asking another guard where the office of the Acting Grand Master was, they then point it to you

Knocking on the door startled the four people inside, Jean being the one with authority and owning the office granted you permission to enter

"Sorry to disturb yo–" you stopped in your tracks when you opened the door, locking eyes with three of the four women in the room you suddenly see a burst of colors, everything was beautiful

You could also see their eyes going wide from seeing you, suddenly your soulmate mark at your neck started to itch a bit, it left you gasping

That seems to have broken everyone from their trance, the first lady went up to you, she was wearing red and black, her platinum blonde hair was covering a part of her eyes, while her light gray eye are what you catch the most beautifully

"My, my, looks like this one is a fine catch, should I consider myself lucky for finding you here of all places tiger?" she asked with a smirk, looking directly at your eyes,

She was then interrupted by another person whose hair is also platinum blonde while her eyes shine like rubies in the dark, this person was wearing a midnight blue outfit that showed all her curves

"Who said she was your catch? I think you are solely mistaken, for I think– no for I know I have her as a big catch, right my dear?" she said looking at your direction

Before you could answer another voice interrupted you, it was a dark brown haired woman with emerald green eyes, she was wearing a purple dress and a matching purple hat

"Ara~ That seems to have been my catch good miss, you two are fighting a losing game for she already is my catch from the start, right cutie?" she asked looking at your direction

'How did I end up here?!' you thought to yourself, this was not how you imagined your day to turned out, you were merely planning to explore after meeting the Acting Grand Master and stay in Mondstadt for a week or two maybe three at most, not find your soulmate(s) in one place

You wanted to get out of here so you did the most logical yet idiotic thing you could think of at that moment, you ran, out of the headquarters and out of the city towards the path that leads to a small village you only stopped when you think you were far enough already

Hoping that you are you looked around only to see that you ran so far that your knees suddenly gave up on you making you fall to the ground

"This day just gets worse doesn't it???" You asked nobody but yourself before laying down to the soft grass beside the road, it was peaceful, the wind blows music of the bards and your problems suddenly became nothing but a blur

Yet you know that hiding can get you nowhere, you have to face them, you have to confront them, but you were also afraid of rejection, so a peace like this was something you are thankful for at the moment

Looking up you saw the clouds dance together, a simple show just for your eyes the colors they poses were majestic, like a rainbow dancing on the sky

You sigh once more before sitting up, looking at the road you are on you can see the vast green grass, the brown dirt road and the trees that hang fruit

You decided that this is enough and stood up, you patted your clothes to take the dust away before starting your walk back to Mondstadt

While walking you can see a few knights that were patrolling the area, still mesmerized by the colors that are around you, it was very different from the dull world you come to know of

After arriving back at the city you prayed with your life that those three soulmates of yours were not there at Jean's office if you were to return again

So you decided to go straight to your hotel and washed up, then to change your dirty clothes and get them cleaned for your next use, after that you went straight back to the Knights Headquarters to hopefully talk with Jean once more

Upon arriving there were less people than earlier, hoping that you won't have to run into those three was a mere wishful thinking, going straight to Jean's office and listening 'She seems to be alone now, good' knocking you wait for a confirmation to come in

Once you were allowed you slowly opened the door and went inside "Jean, sorry for running aw-" you stopped on your tracks when you saw those three woman again

"Sorry, I can come back later" you said in a hurry before trying to close the door but was stopped by Jean holding it "No need, come inside and don't try to run away again" she said before opening the door and leading you inside

Once you were inside she then closes the door and went back to her office chair after giving you a chair to sit on

You could feel their gaze on you, their eyes bored on your back, you tried your best to not look in their way as much as possible while waiting for Jean to speak up

"Now that you're here, I shall get straight to the point, Y/N upon arriving at the city, you have not caused a single problem, that is good and I expect it to stay like that" she said before handing you some paper

"Please fill this form out so we can confirm your stay here, it will also help us in knowing and assisting you in the future, you also have to send a copy of this to the adventure guild if you wish to venture outside of the walls and become an adventurer" she added before handing you a quilt pen

You started filling out the form but stopped when you arrived at a questions you do not wish to answer "Jean, would it be alright to not out anyone related to me?" you asked the blonde girl who looked up at you "Do you not have a family? Parents or siblings?" she asked back

"...I do but...I cut contact with them" you answered back "I see, you may leave it blank, do not worry" she said with a smile and continued on with her work, you then finished and handed it over to Jean

"Alright, this is good, now then I will give you this copy so you can hand it over to the adventures guild for you to join" she said before storing it at her drawer

"Now before another fight starts once more you can leave and take those three soulmates of yours with you" she said '...She basically kicked me out with those three!' you shouted on your mind when you left her office with the other people

"Ara~ Looks like Jean is going to be busy once more, what a shame~" the woman with a purple hat said with a sympathetic look for the Acting Grand Master while looking at the closed door, she then looked back at you with a smile "Now, we should have a talk, all four of us" she said before walking toward the opposite door of Jean's office

"We should take this talk to somewhere more private than a hallway, do you not agree, miss Harbinger? Miss Tianquan?" she added while looking at the other two who gave a nod before following her "Let's go my dear, this way" the other woman who has ruby red eyes called out before holding your hand and leading you toward the other door across

"Come in, have a seat while I prepare some tea for us to enjoy" the lady with a purple hat said leading you all to a concealed room behind the bookshelves where a couch, coffee table, a bed with some bedside table and lamps are

Looking at the direction the woman went you saw a long table with different flowers, fruits and ingredients lined up with some pot or cauldrons and things to make tea (you presume)

"None of you are allergic to anything right? Just to know so I won't accidentally put anything you are allergic to" she said while setting up a stove

"None that I have known of" the woman with ruby red eyes answered "I also have none" the other woman added "Great! What about you cutie? Anything you're allergic to?" she asked looking in your direction, you weren't able to answer just nod indicating that you also have no allergies whatsoever

A few minutes later she sat down with the tea in a cup to be served and a teapot, she put it down at the coffee table before looking back to you

"Tea anyone?" she gestured to all of you, the woman on your left with the dazzling pale blue eyes reached for a cup before drinking, she was then followed by the woman on your right with ruby red eyes, and just like her you to follow their lead, taking a cup and drinking it's contents

"It's very delicious!" you said before taking another sip, you heard a soft laugh, you looked up seeing the person who served you tea was giggling "Did I say something wrong? Or what?" you asked looking around you saw the other two people also holding their laughter but were also having a hard time doing so

"It's nothing for you to be afraid of, we just found your excitement very refreshing so it is making us happy that little things like these can make you smile so bright, my dear" the person on your right said with a smile, her smile made your heart beat faster, your face flushed with shame and embarrassment

They saw your ears turn bright red when you looked down, suddenly finding the floor more interesting that them "I-..." you tried to answer but was consumed with shyness

"There is nothing to be ashamed of, it's normal, so don't push yourself too hard Tiger" the woman on your left, she was quiet but still spoke, you just noticed but her voice was icy yet hot at the same time, it might have turned you on, just a bit

"She is correct cutie, and I am glad you liked how I brew my tea, if you wish I could teach you the steps" the woman in front of you said with a smile lingering her face

Still ashamed you just nodded and continued to drink your tea, a comforting silence overtook the room while you were enjoying tea

It was not uncomfortable, more like peaceful and relaxing, like a place that I belonged

The silence was soon broken by the beautiful platinum haired lady with light gray eye and a mask proudly covering half of her face "We should continue with the matter at hand" she said bringing her cup to the table and crossing her legs with her arms while looking at you who was beside her

'I'm dead, I'm so so dead!' you thought while sipping on your tea trying to ignore her hard gaze "Your words carry truth Harbinger Signora, we must get this all sorted out at once" the other person beside you said 'Her name is Signora? Wow it's beautiful' you said to yourself

"My dear you must tell us who you pick as your soulmate, it is custom for a person to have only one soulmate thus you must pick" her words hit you hard 'I have to pick one?' you were sad and devastated by the thought alone, it was like your heart was torn to million pieces by her words alone

"Now, now Tinaquan Ningguang, forcing her to pick without even knowing her opinion is something not worth it, because what if she doesn't want to pick?" the lady in purple said

"The librarian is correct Tianquan Ningguang, having her pick might only drift her away from any of us" Signora added while looking at them "Then what do you propose miss Lisa?" Ningguang asked the librarian you came to know as Lisa

"Hmm? Quite simple really, we just share her that's it" she said and put her cup of tea down, you were the only one drinking tea, feeling alone you put your tea at the table too "We share? Share as in we all have her? As in she does not have to pick?" Signora was baffled by the thought

"Yes, we share her, that way she does not have to pick and the other two do not have to suffer from losing a soulmate" she added "I refuse!" Signora said more like shouted at Lisa standing up "Like what Ningguang said she needs to pick, it's uncommon for a person to have a relationship with more than one person and you wish to share her?! Outrageous!" She shouted at her

You were frozen in your spot not knowing what to do "Weren't you just opposed to her idea due to the idea of either one of us drifting away from another if she ever picked?" Lisa countered her gaze instantly knowing what Signora meant

"Or are you worried if we share her, the attention, love and time she will give might not be in your favor?" She asked with a slight teasing tone, and based on the flinch you saw Signora had, Lisa hit the right topic

She wasn't in favor of sharing you and she is also not in favor of letting you pick 'Then what the hell do they want from me?!' you thought angrily, everything you do is like planned for you, yet you refuse to be doing this when none of them even consider asking for your opinion

They are all worried for their own and forgot that you have opinions and can make decisions for yourself, you didn't need them if they continue to discuss this without asking you first

It made you angry that this was all they wanted, that they never thought of what you want to do, of what your opinion is, so you made the decision to leave

Standing up you quietly and quickly went to the door hoping to not be seen, when you reached the door you opened it and went out making your way towards Jean's office

The sudden opening and closing of the door made the three of them realise you have left, they can feel it your emotions were all over the place before you went out, they could feel your anger, sadness and hopelessness, yet they have no idea why you felt that way

They all look at each other to indicate a truce for now in order to look for you, right now you were their top priority, to find you first

While they went out of the Headquarters to look for you, Jean looked at your dull eyes with her tired ones "Sorry Jean, but may I reside here for a moment?" You asked earning a nod from the grandmaster herself

You went towards the couch and sat down remembering everything they have said from the beginning to the end, Jean sensing that you are quite down at the moment stood up from her chair and sat down to the opposite couch from where you are

"Something seems to be troubling you Y/N, may I ask what it is?" her question caught you off guard 'Looks like she saw right through me already' you thought and tried to avoid answering her "It's nothing Jean, I was just deep in thought nothing too serious" you smiled at her

She wasn't buying it at all, before she could respond the door leading to her office burst open, looking back there she saw Lisa out of breath with sweat dripping down her face, Jean can clearly see that she was worried and looking for something

Putting the fact that you are here and Lisa is looking worried for no reason at all, she managed to know that it was you Lisa was looking for, and the Tianquan along with the Harbinger must also be looking with her

Deciding her next move Jean stood up and went towards the door, leaving you by yourself at the couch, once at the door Lisa looked at her 'It seems they have not yet saw Y/N due to the darkness in my office' Jean thought to herself before holding the door for Lisa and the other two, promoting them to enter her office

"The night is above us yet you three are here in my office, may I ask why?" she asked while they settle themselves inside her office, clearly have not caught sight of you just yet "Jean, have you seen Y/N? We must find her!" Lisa said her voice laced with worry for her soulmate

"I did saw her, but why must you find her?" Jean countered not revealing where your current location is "Acting Grandmaster, forgive my rudeness but we must find her at once, if you know where she might have been please tell us" it was Ningguang who asked Jean this time, she was breathing hard just looking for you

"Whether I tell you where she is is up to me, before I do hand you that information tell me why must you find the girl?" Jean remained strong, she must find out what happened before going forward "If you have no intention of telling me your reasons then forgive me but I will not tell you anything" she added

"Jean!" Jean was surprised that Lisa shouted at her, it was a first that it happened, Lisa has never shouted at her, this must be really important "You must tell us Jean! Please! I beg of you!" Lisa begged Jean, the Acting Grandmaster's resolve is close to crumbling, but she still chose to remain in her position of not saying anything

"No matter how much you beg me Lisa, my decision remains, if you wish to find Y/N you must tell me why you are looking for her in the first place" her words are firm with authority making the other three silent

"We made a decision without asking her opinion on it" it was the Harbinger this time that talked "We must clear the misunderstanding at once, it is our fault in the first place for not paying attention and asking her opinion before making these decisions that will ultimately affect her too" she added

Jean closed her eyes, she now knows why you went to her office, but now she does not know how to proceed with the situation, she looked at you past the three people in front of her, looking straight at your eyes silently asking whether she can disclose your location to them

You debated and nod your head at Jean, she saw and released a sigh "Fine, I will give you her location" this statement made the others happy even if they don't show it "Under one condition" she added making the three frown and gave a nod of their own "You three must make amends and let her decide, having only one soulmate must be hard especially when you three are from different nations, you must listen to her and try your best to come up with a solution that benefit all of you and not just you" she finished

The three looked at her and nodded their heads, they know their mistakes and wish to change that, they also want to make sure you never felt that you are some kind of pet for their entertainment only, you are their soulmate and they are very sorry they never showed it right from the beginning

"Good" Jean said before looking past them, the others got curious at what she was looking at looked behind them, there they saw a figure at the sofa before the light shines, that figure was their soulmate, she was here all this time

"Y/N!" Lisa was the first to walk towards the girl followed by the other two, they didn't take a seat beside her instead they kneeled down in front of her, Ningguang and Signora took a hand each while Lisa put her hands on your thighs, they looked at you like they were worshiping you

"We are deeply sorry, my dear" Ningguang started "We know the mistake we have made so pls do forgive us, it was never our intention to leave you out of the decision regarding our relationship" Signora added "We were inconsiderate, we forgot that you must also have a say in this, we should have asked for your opinion and decided base on favor by the four of us" Lisa continued

"It was our Mistake Y/N, do have it in you to forgive us, my dear/tiger/cutie" they said all together, you saw it in their eyes they are honest, they wish to make amends and make everything right

They were anxious to hear a response from you, it was slowly killing them thinking that they would have lost you too just because of their selfishness

"I-" you started but paused thinking about what to say next

Well you must wait till the next update because I am ending this here

I will add the smut in the next one, I am sorry this has been very late

I was so dedicated in my doing my real life activities that I ignored these stories not to worry I have much more cooking in my draft and once those are done I will post them at once!

I am very sorry again, I will try to post more often but due to school and my organizations along with this hetic emergency that keeps popping in almost every time it will be very hard

You finally convinced you boyfriend, Pablo to do a face mask with you. You saw videos like that on tiktok and wanted to film one of your own. Gavi was sprawled out on the bed wearing a pair of grey shorts and a Barça shirt when you propped up the phone on the nighstand.

“Alright” you said while opening it carefully. You pressed the record button on your phone, reaching over to your boyfriend. What Gavi didn’t expect tho was for you to straddle his lap suddenly. You didn’t seem to notice the way he shifted a bit as you were stuggling to place the mask correctly.

“Omg Pablo, can you keep still?” Your hips were unintentionally moving against his crotch everytime you would prop upwards to position the mask. Gavi’s face got hot, he could feel a boner forming in his shorts.

Q: What if Both/Neither wins?

A: It will most of the time. But Both/Neither votes don't affect the actual results. So the blorbo with more votes out of the two wins.

Q: Then why even have the option if it doesn't do anything?

A: People NEED an option to vote for. Both because they are curious to the results and like voting in polls. If it wasn't there people would just vote for whoever looks cooler.

Q: You should make the Both/Neither options seperate.

A: No. The goal of this bracket is that the more obscure blorbo wins. For this purpose know both blorbos and knowing neither effect the results in the same way. The reason I am so against having them be separate is that a) it's slightly more work per poll, which ads up and b) I think it looks nicer this way. I know some of you are curious about the data of how much of it is both, but I don't care. (You can even estimate it based on the other two options.) TLDR: Do not make this suggestion

Q: If I know neither character but know the source for one, do I vote against the one I know the source of?

A: No. You are voting on if you know the characters, not the source. If you voting for knowing the source then less known characters from well known sources (i.e. Star Wars, Dr Who) would lose unjustly.

Q: Did you know you can put "<" in front of an option to make it not affect the results? You should do that for the Both/Neither option.

A: There's a key in cell 1b

A: They were either a real person, or a duplicate left by me by mistake.

Q: I noticed you eliminated [character] for being a real person, but they are actually a fictional character different from the person who plays them

A: This has happened a few times (mostly with MCYT) and if I think there could be significant confusion between the character and the real person playing them (usually involving them having the same name) they will be eliminated. This is done case by case, so please do not ask hypotheticals of if X character would be disqualified. If they are disqualified they are disqualified. It's as simple as that.

Q: By round 2 won't we know all the characters because we've seen them in this poll?

A: I have purposefully not defined "knowing a character" because it's can mean lots of different things, but knowing a character from this definitely isn't knowing enough about a character to say you "know them". If you search and learn more about a character between rounds tho then you can vote against them.

"Can we make the fourth day a free day instead? Then if we want to avail some amenities, that's the time we decide?" Mingyu negotiated.

"Can that be per person, tho? Because what if I want to go Rappelling but Jun wanted Aqua Cycling? Would that be possible? Joshua asked.

"That's a better suggestion from Mr. Joshua. We'll prepare the list of all the amenities available for you on the fourth day. Whatever amount left unused will be refunded. We would want to make it more flexible for you by converting amenity stubs as transferrable. If others prefer the fourth day to be rest day in preparation for the night rave, then you can avail added amenities."

"This place is the best!" Jun stood up to show appreciation to the tour guide.

"We appreciate your visit! Also, before I leave everyone to enjoy the delicious meal prepared by our chef, we would like to congratulate the following: Mr. Lee Chan and Ms. Y/N. For today is their seventh year best friend anniversary,"

It was mid-lunch when Seungcheol walked towards you with iced coffee in his hand, "Spanish Latte, Y/N." He smiled.

The group laughed to how Vernon mocked him. The laughter died when suddenly Lee Chan answered a cold: "Okay."

The group have let go of Chan's passive response. But you knew for yourself that it's not the tone Dino uses on you or anyone. It's Dino's leave-me-alone voice. He stood up and went to the fruit bar. You followed immediately so you could choose fruits to your liking.

"Dino, I want to have mang---."

"You can ask Seungcheol to do that for you, right?"

"But I thought you offered to share a fruit bowl with me."

"Seungcheol asked if he could do these things for you, then I said okay. What's wrong?"

"But.."

"Go now before your guy gets jealous." He glanced at Seungcheol.

"Dino.. I--"

"Have I not told you to leave me alone?"

He didn't, but you heard his heart say those words.

You quietly returned beside Seungcheol.

"Have you picked anything you like?"

"Yes, Cheol. Bring me cheese, strawberries and a bottle of beer."

"But your coffee?"

"I'll drink them both."

"But---"

"Actually, bring me three bottles."

"That's too---"

"I won't be rude to you. Just give me what I want."

"Right away, sugar!" Seungcheol smiled to your command without knowing what happened between you and Dino by the fruit bar.

Seungcheol immediately returned with a beer bucket containing five bottles and your requested snacks. You know for sure that Dino was intentionally taking a little more time by the fruit bar just so he could avoid you or make you leave the area before he comes back.

You picked up your coffee and asked Seungcheol to accompany you to the tree house near the boat. As you walked, you tried your best not to let tears flow down your cheeks. You reached the bottom of the tree house and climbed up the ladder.

You then looked for your comfortable place a little inside the tree house. You opened a bottle of beer and let out a big sigh.

Seungcheol looked afar as he tried to process what he needed to tell you. After all, he thought that it was the perfect time to confess, now that the both of you are finally alone with each other's company.

Just like you, he let out a big sigh.

"Hey, Y/N. I want to tell you something." He paused, "I know I have decided a little too late to tell you this but... WHAAAAAAAT THE?? HEY!!! STOP THAT SHIT! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Seungcheol was in the state of panic after he saw you alternately chugging on the beer and sipping aggressively on your coffee while silent tears fall down your cheek. He noticed that you were already on the second bottle of beer as he saw the first one roll just beside you.

"N--no! I can't do that. Wh---wait what happened?"

You sniffed loudly to his question, "The first time that Chan told me to leave him alone was when I accidentally spilled coffee all over his draft that was due the next day. That was four years ago." You cried.

"And when was the next one?"

The tour guide called for assembly for another transfer to the next island this afternoon. Seungcheol didn't see any signs of Dino's presence so he told you to hurry up and get into the top deck so Dino won't see you in that state.

You and Seungcheol reached the top deck and you started drinking again. One, two, three bottles as the boat glided across the calm seas. You continued crying.

Seungcheol suddenly realized what might be the reason behind Chan's harsh words to you. He was the reason; he fully comprehended this time and recalled that Chan likes you as much he does.

"Do you want me to talk to Lee Chan?"

"It's no use, Cheol."

"I could try."

You looked along the shore as you saw Dino's hair tossed by the wind. He won't look for you whenever he's upset, and you knew it.

The captain of the boat checked on you, you told him that you were not feeling well and you prefer to stay on the top deck. Seungcheol didn't say a word and just observed you while cry your eyes out.

Fourth bottle. You remembered once againthe first time Dino told you to leave him alone. He didn't talk to you until he had finished redrafting the plate that you have ruined. That was four days. But what happened a while ago was different; it hurts your guts because you knew that he was just avoidant of his feelings. He was jealous with Cheol and you didn't want to hurt him further— not after you have rejected the love he has to offer.

Fifth bottle. You don't even care about Cheol. Why is he a big deal to Chan? Although you do owe him stories of the moments on how Cheol was being a naughty guy around you. But then again, not after you have rejected what Dino has to offer.

Sixth bottle. You saw Dino scribbling on his drawing pad under a palm tree. That's what he does whenever he's upset. You have rejected Dino. You didn't even care for Seungcheol but he is jealous of that jerk.

You looked to your left and saw Seungcheol sleeping on the outdoor sleeping bed beside yours.

This guy gives a lot of headache.

You went down to look for the captain.

"Sir? Do you serve coffee in your boat?

"No. But we have Starbucks coffee cans."

"Double espresso, please." You smiled at him.

He went to the back of the boat and returned with a glass full of ice and the double espresso can you requested.

"You had too much to drink." He said.

"No, I'm fine, Sir." You giggled and returned to the top deck.

You're drunk.

Second glass of coffee. Everyone headed back to the boat. The sun started to set so you need to return to the villa for dinner time.

Seungcheol woke up from the boys' chatter. You saw Chan walk in the boat so you stood up in attempt to settle things with him right at that moment.

"No." Seungcheol grabbed your wrist, "You're drunk. You need to stop drinking and sober up first before you talk to Dino."

"I want to know what's wrong." You cried.

"Now is not the right time, Y/N." He pulled you to sit down.

"Are you stopping me now, Seungcheol?"

He sighed, "You want to know what's wrong? Huh? I am the problem, Y/N. I know for sure I hold a big part of Dino's anger. So please, can you just let me handle this?"

You took a deep breath and sat beside him. He's right. You're already drunk and you feel weak already. You feel numb to your knees; you can't even feel your nails dig down to your arms. What's left to be felt was the gap that has risen between the three of you. But despite the feelings you have to endure, you trusted Seungcheol and his intentions.

You watched the waves crash to the sides of the boat as you tried to forget what happened earlier.

Good thing that dinner was barbeque, so there's not much attention to whether you were seated beside Dino or not. He took his time talking to his other friends anyway.

Some already started to drink half-way through dinner. Good thing that Minghao made sure that he didn't forget his appointment with you. He tagged along recruits by the poolside.

"Here's your beer. Stop with the coffee now." Minghao said.

"I will! But where's Cheol?" You asked.

"He'll be back in a bit. I asked him to pick up cold cuts from the kitchen before going here." Jihoon said.

Seventh bottle. Seungcheol came with the cold cuts. Everyone seemed happy. Maybe everything will be alright tomorrow.

Eight bottle. Joshua was talking to you but you can't hear a sound.

"Dokyeom!!!! Help!! Where's Dokyeom?!?!?!" Cheol screamed his lungs out.

Dokyeom rushed by the pool and saw you lying on the ground with a little wound on your forehead.

"What happened??" He asked, "Please someone get the first aid!"

Jeonghan rushed the first aid to Seokmin. As Seokmin was cleaning your wound, Dino came and Mingyu's fiancé started to explain: "I think she must have drunk too much."

"I think she had three glasses of coffee and six, seven bottles of beer? Or eight? I don't know. I already told her that she looks unwell. That's when she blacked out and her head hit the corner of the table as she fell to the ground." Shua narrated.

"But that's too much, how did it happen?" Dino asked in a raised voice. He angrily went to Seungcheol and clutched him by his shirt. "Why the fuck did you let that happen to Y/N?!"

"Hey, easy now." Jun exclaimed as he tried to remove Dino's hands on Seungcheol's shirt.

"Me? Should I be the one asking you that? What the fuck did YOU do to her? YOU were the reason Y/N was drinking." Seungcheol shouted.

Everyone was shocked of what's happening. They were not really expecting that this would come. Everyone pulled them away from each other.

"Oh my God. Please can someone carry Y/N to her cabin!?" Seungkwan's girlfriend exclaimed after Dokyeom secured your wound on the forehead.

Soon-young immediately responded to help.

"Careful with the wound, Soon-young. Let's help her to bed. Can a lady please come with us? She needs to get her clothes changed." Dokyeom advised.

"I'll go." Jeonghan's girlfriend offered.

Soon-young lifted you up still unconscious and the three rushed to your cabin to attend to your needs.

"You tell me, Dino. Why the hell would you tell Y/N to fuck off and leave you alone?" Seungcheol was also frustrated but he has kept his hands to himself.

"I gave you the chance to spend the day with Y/N but look what you've done." Dino gritted on his teeth.

"Chance? From you, Dino? Why? Do you own Y/N?"

"No."

"Then what, Dino?"

Dino removed his hands from clutching Cheol's shirt, "Fuck off, Seungcheol. Don't meddle with our stuff."

"That's not how you fucking treat people around you, Dino. I know that you love Y/N more than just a best friend, like I do. I'm trying to win her heart, but she keeps pushing me away. But with you? Just because you were jealous? You had the guts to tell her to leave you alone? Who are you now, Dino?"

And at that moment, everyone knew about the lingering competition between Seungcheol and Chan, in hopes to win your heart.

"Just let Y/N decide." Vernon suggested.

"Y/N won't have the capacity to decide." Wonwoo said. Everyone was in confusion of Wonwoo's statement. "Seungcheol haven't confessed yet to Y/N and I guess our guy Dino was, you know, rejected." He added.

"Trouble went in before the real deal, I guess." Minghao said.

"I told you, Cheol, you should have started with the best friend." Uji added.

"Kill me now. But what kind of best friend is Dino if Y/N is in this state?" Cheol looked Dino dead in the eye.

"For sure with the hangover and all the vomiting, Y/N can't join us tomorrow in the water park." Seokmin said as he walked to the pool side, "We might want to call the club's nurse to look aft--"

"I'll take care of Y/N." Dino and Cheol both said.

Seokmin slow-clapped "Y/N is such a beauty."

"Shut it down Dokyeom." Uji frowned.

"I'll decide." Jeonghan appealed.

"There's nothing to deci--"

"Shut up, Dino. We don't want the two of you knocking around each other." Han added, "Dino will be the morning nurse, from this hour up to lunch time. From lunch time to bedtime, it will be Seungcheol." He walked past Dino and said "You wouldn't want to tell Y/N how sorry you are while she's dealing with her hangover, eeh? By the time she wakes up, it will be Nurse Cheol."

"Case closed." Mingyu agreed.

"Jeonghan can make sense sometimes, right?" Seokmin said.

"Yaaaa!. My life is not all about cheating and ditching stuff." He defended.

"Everyone should rest now." Shua suggested.

Everyone attended to their personal matters after what happened. As Seungcheol made his way inside the villa, Jun called his attention.

"Cheol. You heard Jeonghan." Jun gestured his head to Dino who was sitting alone by the pool side. "You're not tonight's nurse. Remember? Start with the best friend." Jun patted Seungcheol's back and lightly pushed him to Dino's direction.

Seungcheol sat by the living room, having a view of Chan's frame. He was composing what he would say to Chan.

Is this the right time for a talk?

After a few moments of contemplating, he stood up and went to Dino. He grabbed two beers and opened them.

"Dino." Seungcheol gave him a bottle and sat beside him.

"Y/N told me that she sees me as a friend." Dino gulped his beer.

"What a rough anniversary, huh?" Cheol said.

"You can say that again."

"It was seven long years. Where were you? Why didn't you even try to win her heart?"

"I did. But there was this one bastard in college that played with her emotions, and when I was about to tell her my feelings, she became emotionally unavailable until came the thin line between platonic and romantic love." Dino narrated.

"If she's emotionally available now, then why the hate on me?"

"You don't wanna know."

"I wanna know." Cheol insisted.

"Well, the thing is. You're a bit taller than him, but you have the same built and his name also starts with S. That's why she's so annoyed of you."

"She told you that?"

"No. I just knew. I was just actually waiting for Y/N to tell me that you look like Seok-jin. But I guess you haven't annoyed her enough to be worthy of a night-long rant from her." Dino said.

There came a long silence before Seungcheol responded to Dino.

"She said it was the second time you told her to leave you alone."

"Did she cry?" Dino asked.

"She was scared, Chan. She told me not to tell you and she didn't want to hurt you."

Dino and Cheol continued drinking until they consumed their bottles. Dino stood up and pat Cheol's shoulders. "I'm sorry."

"No it's okay. I don't want any conflict with you anyway, especially when we can just talk it out." Cheol stood up as well.

"As long as you promise that you won't hurt Y/N, then I promise there wouldn't be any room for hurting on my end." Chan smiled.

"No way?" Cheol was surprised.

"I'm staying on cabin three. Vernon is still awake." Chan said as he tossed his keys to Seungcheol, "Swap with me before Y/N wakes up. I don't want to scare her."

"I will."

Seungcheol was all smiles with Chan's approval for his best friend. He went straight to Chan's cabin to spend the night.

Meanwhile in Y/N's cabin...

"I'll take it from here, Kyeom." Chan said as he entered your cabin.

"And Seungcheol?" Dokyeom asked as he handed the care kit to Dino.

"We have talked."

"You're so pretty, I could cry. Sorry Y/N." He whispered.

Moments later, you woke up.

"S-s-seungcheol. I n-need to vomit." You uttered.

Chan was in panic and couldn't find any basin near you.

"Can you stand tho? I'll accompany you to the bathroom."

You quietly nodded and let Chan assist you, as you thought he was Seungcheol. "I'll call you when I'm done." You said.

He prepared a warm wash cloth to sober you up a little bit. He became worried when you stopped making vomiting noises and weren't able to call him again. Chan slowly opened the door just to see you sleeping on the floor.

He delicately lifted you up and took you to bed. He cleaned up the mess in the sink and returned immediately to your side with his upper body slightly elevated to yours.

"Cheol, is Chan still mad at me?" You asked whom you thought was Seungcheol.

"No. He was not mad, not even a bit, Y/N." Chan replied.

"That's nice."

Chan saw the smile traced on your face despite the dim light made by the bedside lamp.

"But he did tell me if you could give him some time."

"Oh? That's something to frown, I guess."

"He loves you so much." Chan added

"I love Lee Chan too. Even if he didn’t hug me goodnight."

"I can do that for you while he takes his time."

"Are you, okay with that, Cheol?" You asked, still unaware.

"I'll be Lee Chan for tonight."

You turned a little to your right, faced "Seungcheol" and hugged him tight. "Goodnight. I hope you were Dino. I've got lots to tell him."

"Goodnight, Y/N."

It lightened the burden for Lee Chan— that it's still him that you wanted to get comfort from, we'll not until you find comfort in Seungcheol's arms.

VACATION DAY 3

Dino woke up to the sound of your door opening at six o'clock in the morning, still having you wrapped around his waist.

"Morning, Cheol." Dino whispered trying not to wake you up.

A slight jealousy was painted on Seungcheol's face after he saw you hugging Dino.

"If only I didn't know that you're best friends, I would be jealous by now." Cheol said as he put down the breakfast he brought.

"Don't be," Chan said as he slid out of your arms, "She woke up last night with the lights dimmed down. All this time, she thought I was you. I think I should be the one feeling jealous right now." Chan smiled.

"No way?" Cheol asked.

"Make sure you get her occupied so she won't ask about me."

Dino and Cheol quietly ate together while you were sound asleep.

"I'll be back for lunch." Cheol said.

"No, I'll prepare lunch instead." Dino said.

"But my time would start at lunch."

"You should know that she wakes up for work at five o'clock in the morning. On free days, whether drunk or sober, she wakes up at seven or 7:30. I don't want to stick around any longer."

"There's a lot I should know about her, huh?"

"She's always full of surprises." Dino added.

"What else should I know?" Cheol asked.

"'YOU' told her last night that I requested to have a little time alone, and that I have told 'YOU' to let her know."

"Roger that, Dino."

A few moments have passed and you did wake up just a few minutes before the clock strikes at 7:30. Dino stood up immediately but Seungcheol stopped him from taking another step towards the door.

"Just so she could see you." Cheol said.

"Hnggg. Seungcheol my head hurts." You rubbed your eyes and massaged your head.

"Please don't rub your eyes, Y/N." Cheol suggested, "Just in time, Dino prepared breakfast for you."

"He really made breakfast for me?" You opened your eyes, and were surprised that Dino and Seungcheol were standing in front of you, "DINO!!" You reached for a hug like a baby.

Seungcheol slightly pushed Dino to your bedside and you were able to hug him.

"Where's my hangover coffee tho?" You pouted.

"The group agreed that your nurse for today would be---"

"The group?!" You exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes, everyone knew about your condition today. So I was saying, you'll be with Seungcheol. They need me in the waterpark. So stop being stubborn, you should eat whatever is here and whatever Seungcheol will prepare for you." Dino stroked your hair.

"Cheol will poison me." You complained.

"No he won't. The kitchen is monitored today by Mingyu."

"Okay, hmmmm, but just a few more minutes before you enjoy the waterpark." You said still hugging Dino, "Sorry, Dino."

"No, Y/N. It's me who needs to apologize. It won't happen again. I-- I'm sorry. Really. I was just..." He glanced at Seungcheol and continued, "..Jealous that someone finally came with intentions of treating you right." He smiled.

Seungcheol smiled back at Chan.

"What made you think that all things are certain?" You asked.

"You're my best friend, Y/N. But you also need to accept the fact that Seungcheol is also a friend to me, he won't do anything to hurt you."

"But please visit me sooner, or whenever you feel better." You said still remembering what "Cheol" told you about Dino wanting some time alone.

"Please be good to Seungcheol. He knows what to do." He kissed the top of your head and slowly ceased the hug.

Dino looked at Cheol and then smiled at you. He quietly left the room and left you under Seungcheol's care.

Do you have a set process for coloring and rendering / adding texture to your art? If so, would it be alright for me to ask what goes into that process? I'd love to learn how an artist I admire goes about their work!

Omg I'm so flattered, I'll try my best to explain it!! ^^

Tho, okayyy, I apologize beforehand for how incoherent this might be, since I don't really have a set process at all and mostly I fake it 'til i make it haha. I'm the first to admit that I don't have a ver consistent method and that shows in how irregular in quality my art can look, even inside the general sketchy look.

(Btw sorry if some of the fanart i use for example doesn't make you comfortable but I've tried to find the best examples for each type of coloring haha)

I'll start with the brushes I rely on the most, tho I admit i made the mistake of downloading too many brushes and textures so I might use others on rare occassions xddd

These are basically the brushes I use the most. The "mezclador redondo" is just CSP's default paintbrush and I only tweaked it to find sth I liked and felt comfortable with for both lining and painting

As you can see here I only used one layer for lines and other three for each of the guys' colors. I colored it all with the default brush (tho unfortunately I lost the settings I used for this drawing in particular and haven't found them again rip). In drawings like this I just do a sketch, clean the lines (no lineart) and then paint it. After the base color I start laying out different hues to make the coloring more interesting.

This one was the same. One layer for coloring, manually adding lighter hues (see the more light and yellowish color on grovyle's left leg compared to the shadow) or darker tones. I try to add color to the shadows as well to make them feel less flat, and an airbrush in overlay tends to help with that (tho here I just used a brush).

Here you can see that I often paint over the lines on another layer to correct mistakes in the "lineart" lol. I also applied an airbrush (layer mode overlay) over celebi to make her more bright. I wanted to put this one to show that coloring doesn't have to be detailed to look nice enough. Here Celebi basically has no shadows at all but the tone of the drawing makes her look cute anyways imo ^^

In these two you can see adjustements over the full image again (yellow layer), but I also wanted to show that I don't have a set number of layers either, it depends on how many I feel like using. Again, sorry for the lack of consistency but im too lazy to have a proper method lmao

I will also use harder brushes and tone changes sometimes, instead of blending them with less dense brushes. I am also fond of adding hard lighting in some drawings. You can experiments with it on a top layer and delete it if it doesn't fit, so it's always worth a try.

Another thing I recommend is studying and copying artists you admire or like. Add things from their styles into yours, see how they work with proportions and try to use that in your own art. It has helped me a lot and, without looking to fully copy anyone's style, it does give you some ideas of how you wish your drawing would look, which motivates me (when it doesn't depress me lol)

Finally, the texturing isn't consistent either. I use one of CSP's/Downloaded texture packs, put a grainy texture on the canvas, set it to overlay and adjust the opacity until I'm satisfied. In these two images you can see I am not consistent in coloring even in the same comic lmao. But we are doing this for fun, so I think experimentation is always sth worth exploring ^^

And I think that's all I have to say. I don't control color theory at all, so I can't really explain how I choose colors. I look up some tutorials on youtube and pretend I understand lol. Ig the one thing I tend to do a lot is changing hues in a base color to make it look less flat, the same as with shadows.

Probably the first batch from everything-else-but-Inktober 2020. I decided to drop the idea of messing with inks and straight up exercised on things I usually fail at / wanted to improve. The whole challenge was, well, a challenge. I remember struggling from day 1 to 30 because I'm terrible at studies, I tend to filter and filter and filter and... But I like the results!! Okay, so let me ramble abt making the last comic, cause that was an absolute behemoth to work on, and I have a lot of thoughts in my head. Man, I don't know how those webtoon artists do it every week. They scare me now.

This is super long btw, so get cozy if you want to read :]

Starting off, I actually got this idea from my lil 'ol diary I keep by my tableside :] I like writing down what I feel so I can see it in a more concrete(?) manner, helps me cope i think. One time, I really did cry for someone because I guess I just really liked them a lot. Having crushes is fun, but catching feelings isn't.

I always get this giddy feeling of being head over heels for someone. Every interaction is so exciting. Intoxicating even. And I couldn't get enough of it, but after that few seconds of bliss I immediately think to myself that all these scenarios in my head will never happen, not in a million fucking years. I just preemptively reject myself without ever telling the person what I feel. I know what the outcome will be anyway, and I'm afraid of what will happen if I did say anything. It's just too risky.

The second half is completely made up tho, I will never ever kidnap someone... unless? (For legal reasons, I will have to clarify that this is a joke, Thank you.)

Now onto the comic itself!

The composition is probably the easiest and the most fun part. I love, love, love, how versatile you can be in the webtoon format. Figuring out how to transition the panels is super fun, and it sucks that most of the webcomics I see on tapas or webtoon, etc. are just sticking to those boring box formulas over and over again when it has so much potential, although there are exceptions like, for example, Lore Olympus. While it has it's fair share of flaws when in comes to other aspects, you can't deny the artist's talent esp when it comes to knowing how to place the character in an illustration, (again) the compositioning etc etc. (ep. 8 is p good. They stick to the box stuff during dialogue but gets more experimental in some parts. I haven't been keeping up with it, so idk any other good eps)

One of my only big regrets is that I wish I had made the space between the '...but I love it." and "And soon..." parts longer. I think it changed scenarios way too fast and your eye immediately moves onto the next piece of text,, but eh, it is what it is, and I can't be bothered to edit it so ig I gotta learn to live with it.

It's still messy in,, a lot of parts actually, and I still can't do lineart to save my life, but i kinda tried just cleaning up the sketches instead???? I mean, it kinda works, but it isn't really smooth so,, And there are small mistakes here and there that I could've fixed or colored stuff in properly or whatever. But at that point, I'm just done with it. No more. Am tired and want to draw other shit now. Maybe boobs n dicks n pussy-

I also really want to make a full on nsfw one, like gut rearranging, carnal fucking, hardcore banging,, ok ill stop. But I do need to do more,, uh, "research" on that,, i swear it's research, i have no clue how im gonna draw it. Hell, I already struggle with drawing people fucking and imagine adding cool transitions to that. Guess even my masochistic tendencies extend to this shit too.

And I think that's pretty much it? I'll probably just stick to b and w or monotone with a few accent colors because i just know that it would break me if i did a fully colored one.

Did anything specific inspire/influence Bebo's design

Bebo is the Fear of Attention, so I tried to give him things that would give him a lot of attention in the Underworld!! A crown even though he isn't a ruler, human clothes that Fears/Pleasures don't usually wear, unique color combos, and both wings and a tail!!

Somewhat recently, I added stars to his design, kinda like he's "the star of the show." Another thing about his design is his collar: it's a symbolization of the control Jinxster (his crush) has on him, since he will do almost everything they wish him to do.

On the right of the picture, we have Skelly (Fear of Skeletons), who is what a Fear typically looks like. I decided to draw them both to compare the two!

(Might change his color palette tho!)

And here’s the heartache. Michael deserved to be punched and no one hears what he said so…again… everyone blames Brian. And Brian… apologizes. Because he would let himself get burned if it means everyone else is okay.

Ohhh the parallel “I have plans” yeah this time it’s a cheap imitation (cheap as in it’s not Justin, I’m sure the escort was not cheap)/

Teary eyes about Brian not kissing the Justin look-alike escort? And noting the playing with the hair? Could he be anymore in the fandom?!? Nope.

dragging my bike around in this cave with me bc my supplies are so desperately low lol. idw it to respawn i JUST made it

mapla point, my old enemy...when i had 899 seeds in botw, here was the missing one

i can see the brightbloom seed trail from here! it's quite beautiful actually, especially at night. the reflections on the dark water..........

i wish i could shoot arrows while riding the bike/any vehicle. that would fucking rule

if theres one thing i do like about koroks its how the boulder rolling puzzles from botw became these put the boulder OUT of the hole into the tree puzzles. really good subversion since rolling boulders into holes is now completely doable with ultrahand without any effort or thinking at all. and thank god for that frankly.

the gacha i use for fans also gives out portable pots and flame emitters, at what feels like a higher rate...i don't use flame emitters often but it's nice to know there will never come a time when i'm not able to cook lol

kinda good that i need fan refills so often tho bc from there i go straight down to this construct camp and then into the mining cave to trade zonaite for crystalized charges AND there's zonaite mining in there...a good thing to do regularly. i don't have as many problems finding zonaite as i do with that middle step of trading it for crystalized charges lol. i kind of wish they hadn't added that in there

German upper house approves bill easing citizenship rules

German lawmakers have passed a bill that makes the process of obtaining citizenship easier, and moved to simplify repatriations.

The naturalisation reform, approved by the upper house of parliament on Friday, allows people to become German citizens while keeping their original citizenship.

People will be able to apply for citizenship after living in Germany for five years rather than eight years. Children of parents from abroad will also be granted German citizenship at birth if one parent has been legally residing in Germany for five years rather than eight.

If applicants demonstrate “special integration achievements” through particularly good performance at school or work or civic engagement, they may be able to be naturalised after only three years.

One important aspect of the new law is that people who obtain their German citizenship will not have to give up the citizenship of their native country, previously only possible for residents from other EU countries in Germany.

This will allow tens of thousands of German-born Turks to become voters.

Likewise, Germans who wish to become citizens of another country will no longer need special authorisation from German authorities.

The bill was put forward by centre-left Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s socially liberal coalition. The main centre-right opposition bloc had criticised the project, and argued it would cheapen German citizenship.

The bill was approved by Germany’s lower house two weeks ago. At the time, Scholz hailed the legislation and said it was for those who had lived and worked in Germany for “decades”.

“With the new citizenship law, we are saying to all those who have often lived and worked in Germany for decades, who abide by our laws, who are at home here: You belong to Germany,” Scholz said.

Filiz Polat, a Green Party migration expert, welcomed the prospect of dual citizenship and slammed parties opposing the law as failing to understand the “modern immigration society that has long existed in Germany”.

Al Jazeera’s Dominic Kane, reporting from Berlin, said there were “speeches in favour and there were speeches against” the bill in the state’s house of parliament.

“But in the end, the house decided not to vote in favour, but also, not to vote against,” Kane said. This means that the law goes through because of Germany’s constitution.

“The elected house of parliament had already voted in favour of it,” he explained.

The legislation still has to be approved by Germany’s upper chamber of parliament, and by the president as a formality, before it becomes law.

It will come into effect by mid-May at the earliest, Kane said.

Hundreds of thousands of people are already in the system, meaning there will likely be a massive backlog before new applications are processed, our correspondent added.

DELTARUNE Chapter 2 Thoughts!!!

WOOO OKAY I stayed up WAY too late trying to finish Deltarune Chapter 2 last night!! It took me awhile because I suck at video games, but I finally did it!

While I normally type up commentary as I play first time, I didn’t get the chance to do that here, so I’ll get down all my general thoughts here!

Unspoilery thoughts: loved it, knew I would, will need to replay soon to see what all I missed, and am excited for whatever’s next!

SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 2 under the cut!!

(These are just as I think of them, not in any particular order!)

Okay overall I can see why this took two years and a much larger team to complete, the second chapter is SO much more expansive and heavy on scene-specific animations! It all looks SO GOOD

I already love Susie but now I love her even more, her expressions were SO GOOD

Susie has a (little nubby) tail confirmed?? That’s adorable

Okay this game is definitely reading the chapter 1 data, which I find interesting because I didn’t obtain it through Steam last time

But like, I gave the “Susie eats chalk” response to Noelle last time, and in chapter two she gave Susie the box of chalk, so awwww!

Also I missed Onionsan in my initial computer playthrough, so they didn’t show up this time, just got a moment of Susie and Kris sitting by the river together!

I find it REALLY interesting that while Ralsei is a Darkner, apparently he can jump around to other Dark Worlds whereas other Darkners like Lancer and Rouxls can’t so much…hmmm!

It was so nice to see everyone filling out the town now, though!

Noooo Susie probably doesn’t have her own room at home, awwww

Kris just casually jumping up to the classroom and bringing everyone back tho, perfect

Was right on there being multiple dark worlds in other locations, but honestly that part’s the least surprising to me, that always seemed like a pretty standard path to take!

The werewires were creepy and great; difficult to battle tho

QUEEN IS MY NEW FAVORITE

EVERY LINE OF HERS WAS A+

I’m so glad that I didn’t really go anywhere with Jevil’s line about the Queen in PT; nothing I came up with could’ve topped Queen being an absolute acid trip of an antagonist in this chapter

NOELLE SO SWEET

Her lil’ robot disguise! Her being afraid of mice at first!

I kinda wish we could have had her in the party more? She was super useful as a party member, honestly!

But sadly I guess we’re not gonna get more than the three-person party, awww

B E R D L Y

I cannot believe Berdly basically became incel Falco but also had a sympathetic backstory

Like I laughed a lot at all of Berdly’s expressions and dialogue while also going BERDLY YOU ARE THE WORST

Noelle’s WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? part = A+

I feel like Queen’s relationship with Noelle definitely had some uncomfy parallels with probably how she is dealing with her real mom

I AM NOT GOOD AT PUNCH-OUT AND THERE WAS A LOT OF THAT

I somehow missed the part where Susie is wearing Ralsei’s glasses??? Where is this

Also in general there was a LOT of puzzles and gameplay in the overworld map, which I was bad at but was also very cool

KRIS GET THE BANANA

I DID NOT LIKE THE SPAMTON GUY

DISCOMFORT THE WHOLE TIME

Apparently he’s also the secret boss for this chapter?? That’s at least if the soundtrack is anything to go by. Maybe I’ll go back and try it on another playthrough, but aaaaagggghhhg

SO MANY GOOD SUSELLE MOMENTS

The whole deal with the ferris wheel conversation and just awwwwuuuuuuh

Needs more Susiezilla now too (I picked the “something romantic” option because of course)

Also I cannot believe Susie has (at least) two people crushing on her and is just totally oblivious to it

There’s SO Many interesting HMM moments with Kris and that definitely included the entire acid tunnel of love scene with Kris and Ralsei

Interrupted of course by an appropriately silly Rouxls battle

But man the more we see (or often DON’T see) of Ralsei the more intriguing it gets

LET NOELLE RIDE IN THE TEACUP RIDE WITH SUSIE

I just knew going back to get that chest without Noelle would be something dumb

OKAY I ended up dying a lot to 1) the Mauswheel, and 2) the color-changing butlers?? So I ended up having to do the whole sequence with annoying dog blasting through everything in his path multiple times

I DID feel bad for Berdly during that boss battle where he was werewired; that was nice and body horror-ish

That said… “I NEED A KISS FROM A GAMER GIRL”

The giant mecha boss battle absolutely kicked my ass, though

Like it WAS badass but that took me a LOT of tries to get through

My thrash machine was very GUN’S

Overall the difficulty curve was definitely stepped up from chapter 1!

LOTS MORE DARK WORLD AND KNIGHT LORE FROM RALSEI HERE

And lots of talk about Noelle being pretty important to it, too!

I’m glad I got to bring Susie on the walkaround this time around town!

I AM GOING TO BE YOUR WACKY ROOMMATE NOW

King and Queen’s entire conversation was so hilarious

I wasn’t expecting this at all, but it feels like they may be introducing way more Lightners to the Dark World with each chapter, since both Noelle and Berdly ended up there?

And if that’s the case, I feel like it’s hinting that Catti and/or Jockington may be next

SUSIE STAYING AT KRIS’S PLACE FOR A SLEEPOVER WAS SO SWEET

IMMEDIATELY UNDERCUT BY KRIS GOING FERAL AGAIN

Like I dunno the whole scenario somehow managed to be both REALLY sinister and very funny at once??

Susie and Toriel are busy laughing and making a pie together, meanwhile Kris just sneaks the hell out and slashes Toriel’s tires because it’s KNIVES OUT TIME

Please let Susie watch more giant monster (and giant human) movies with her friends, she needs this

THAT SAID, THAT ENDING

SO THIS SEEMS TO BE INDICATING THAT KRIS IS THE KNIGHT

Which like…is in fact making SOME KIND OF SENSE in my head overall, but I definitely need more context to see how exactly

Considering Ralsei’s reaction to Noelle and Berdly trying to make a new fountain, this definitely seems to be setting up some kind of future confrontation between Kris and Ralsei, which! HMMMM
