Phew! What a stint! My little lady was just pounding! It was amazing! 🫀
Just got done doing my opening stint and boy, we got it out clean! Not any mistakes, just one where no one was around thankfully, but I missed my braking point at Wippermann but all is good! No bumps or crashes, but as you can see here I made a mega overtake at Kallenhard! But other than that, solid stints! Gotta focus on just surviving even other drivers incidents as well.
I love doing opening stints, like that’s where the most action happens and I gained solid positions out of the start so we’re looking pretty good for a top 10! Won’t be recording her though, too much adrenaline going on with my teammates haha. We’re having so much fun! But phew! I could feel her pounding. She probably shot up to 120 BPM because I’ve also had coffee before so there’s also that haha
My teammate is currently in doing a solid stint so we’ve got under 11 hours to go! I love the Nordschleife…what a track!

Zuerst die Nachfrage klären: „Warum ist es so wichtig, auf dem Bauch liegen zu können?“
Ganz einfach: ich schlafe normalerweise gerne und sehr entspannt auf dem Bauch und außerdem freue ich mich darauf, endlich wieder zur Massage gehen zu können. Dazu muss ich aber eine gute Stunde ohne Anstrengung auf dem Bauch liegen können.
Apropos ohne Anstrenung. Ich bin heute relativ ruhig zum ersten Mal wieder über eine Stunde im Wald gewesen. Teilweise über sehr schöne Wege, teilweise leider auch in sehr mitgenommenen Gebieten. Die Dürre der letzten Jahre und der Borkenkäfer haben fast alle Fichten und einige andere Bäume zerstört.
Danach der normale Tagesablauf, ein bisschen ausruhen, heute nur wenig Arbeit und dann ein etwas aufräumen.
Am Abend waren zwei ehemalige Kolleginnen zu Besuch, nur mittelmäßig viel Gerede über Schule und mehr über das Leben an sich.
Zur Feier des Tages habe ich dann auch noch den echten massgefertigten Wippermann rausgesucht. Steht mir immer noch wie ne Eins. Den zugehörigen Rock habe ich natürlich auch noch. Durch die Abnehmerei im letzten Monat passt er mir auch wieder.
Irgendwo habe ich auch noch das Video der Aufführung de Lehrertheaters. Vielleicht sollten wir uns das nochmal in Ruhe anschauen, zum 10jährigen Jubiläum oder so?!
Dass ich wirklich abgenommen habe, bekomme ich von den meisten Menschen um mich rum gesagt, die Waage zeigt auch ein paar Kilo weniger an, aber im Spiegel selbst sehe ich es nicht. Auch meine Klamotten passen noch. Vermutlich sitzen sie etwas lockerer als früher und nicht ganz so spack.
Ich habe ein bisschen Bammel davor, dass das Gewicht während der Chemo weiter runtergeht. Damit kenne ich mich nicht so aus. Der umgekehrte Fall ist für mich normal, d.h. wenn ich nicht aufpasse, habe ich Ruckzuck 5kg mehr drauf. Auch hier verschiebt sich gerade die Körperwahrnehmung.

Hi! What was the Kotze Affair? All I can find on it is that it was letters (which may have actually been diary entries from Charlotte of Prussia's diary??) that exposed the German court of 'sexual debauchery'. I haven't been able to find really any info on it. Is there anywhere I could read the letters?
Hey! The Kotze Affair began in 1892. Members of the Hohenzollern family and several prominent figures of the German Court started receiving anonymous letters containing obscene accusations. Until 1894, more or less 200 letters were sent. The rivalries at Court were exacerbated by these letters which were most likely written by someone close to the recipients since the details were so accurate & it created a climate of suspicion.
Leberetch von Kotze, master of ceremonies at Court, was getting closer to the inner circle of Wilhelm II, which made many at Court jealous. Even though he had received some letters, he was accused of being the author. The authorities with the Baron Schrader (who didn’t like Kotze at all) found some so-called evidences and Kotze was put in jail. However, the letters didn’t stop. An expert was called to analyse the handwriting and he concluded that Kotze wasn’t the author and that the latter could be a woman. Kotze was set free but the intrigues at Court were still in full swing. Kotze’s clan blamed Schrader for fabricating evidences. Later, the two men fought in a duel and Schrader died from his wound.
At that time, Ernst Gunther, Duke of Schleswig-Holstein, brother-in-law of Wilhelm II, was also mentionned as being the real author behind the letters. He was forbidden to live in Berlin and Postdam which give credence to the accusations. For Fritz Friedmann, who worked on the case and wrote a book on the affair in 1896, the author was a woman. He doesn’t blame Charlotte but it’s true that some contemporaries thought she was the one behind the letters. Mainly because of her ill reputation. And even though Charlotte was quite a piece of work, I’m not sure she was the master mind behind the letters. + she was one of the recipients of these letters.
Concerning Charlotte diary, newspapers reported (even French press, it shows the extent of the scandal) that she had lost it and the diary had ended up in the wrong hands. Some said it was Kotze and his wife who had stolen the diary while on a travel with Charlotte and her husband. Let’s say that there were a lot of rumours…
Historians can’t seem to agree on the author and it’s true that not a lot of materials have been written on this affair, at least in English. Maybe I’m wrong, it’s been a long time since I read it, but Christina Croft doesn’t mention the affair in her book Queen Victoria’s Granddaughters: 1860-1918. Hannah Pakula in her bio on Vicky talks about it but doesn’t mention Charlotte. Whereas Wolfgang Wippermann (who has published a book with the letters if you read German!) thinks Charlotte is behind them. And for John C. G. Röhl it is most likely Ernst Gunther. I recommend you the books from Röhl there are great. In The Kaiser’s Personal Monarchy, 1888-1900, he talks about the affair. ・Di2を「フル外装」で実装。 ケーブルを剥き出しで使用するのは心配なので、Audio用にストックしていた 「ケーブル被覆用スリーブ(2φ)」を被せてみた。 ・バッテリーを、フォークコラム内に格納出来るように、「EDC」システムへの 対応を行ったが、ケーブルの取り回しがイマイチの為、良い案が思いつくまで ハンドルに付けた増設ブラケット内に格納して運用。 ・11sのシマノチェーンと、10sのコネクトリンク(Wippermann Connex)。 Wippermann 11s用のリンクは、ピン径が変更されている為、 シマノチェーンとの組み合わせはNG。 ・主な使用目的が、通勤用の為、過剰にパンク対策を実施。 パンク防止用の、タイヤライナー「Panaracer Flataway」を追加した。 フェルト状のベルトを、両面テープでタイヤ内側に装着する。 空気を満充���して暫く経ってから、タイヤを外して確認したところ、 圧縮されて、タイヤ内側に密着した状態となっていた。 「厚み」による保護はあまり期待できなさそう。 チューブに、NoTubesシーラントを70mlずつ施行。 SCHWALBEのチューブはコアが外せるので、シリンジの先を バルブに突っ込んで入れられるので、簡単。 ・Thomsonステム&シートクランプのボルトが、オーバートルク対策の為、 軒並み、サイズダウンされている。 持ち運ばないといけない工具が増えるので、戻してほしい。 ・TNI カーボンフォーク、アルミフォークに化粧カーボンを巻いただけ?
