"Some Nights" is a song I can associate with Alexander Khaos, especially post the events of my Ain't It A Joy? WIP, perhaps Alexander's being reflective in Hope County at St. Francis or even in New Eden post-Collapse. Alexander, much like Jacob, knows how your worst, most dehumanizing moments can fundamentally change a person. One thing is clear; although Alexander is a little homesick for his family, he does not miss Wellington Wells at all. Listen below:

Life, Despair & Monsters is a series that explores morally grey/dark grey characters and how these morals change as pressure and time force them to adapt. The protagonists begin with fairly selfish goals; whether it be individually personal or collectively out for revenge against Malvolio and his meddling into their lives (especially with a few like Sonya, Jennifer, Hatter, Guenevere and Haoyu, plus some others), while the antagonists often have a benevolent goal (Sir Enigma Malvolio & the Ruins of the Midnight Rise) or even believe what they're doing is for the best (the Court King and Ion), even if their methods and/or understanding is severely flawed, amoral and sometimes even depraved. None of the protagonists want to be present there, but they are put into a circumstance that pushes them to make some capacity to change for the betterment of others, even if it doesn't entirely benefit themselves. All of them have done at least one wrong or another, or are even outright wrong in some one way or another, but they are still people in some way, just broken by circumstances beyond their control, even if some of them had inflicted this on themselves:

Lastly a ship song for the main couple of An Old Ballad of Chance and Ember Hearts Original Trilogy; Jade Smith and Jasmine Rafiq. For the first story, it's mostly the two (a) exploring beautiful multiverse, and (b) reconciling with the fact that, despite their soulmate marks fading away (after the system was abolished in Wing And Horns), they still love each other and don't require those marks to define that fact for them, renewing their declaration of love to each other. The second story has them come across strife in the form of Rouske; while Jade and Jasmine explore the multiverse and see nothing but beauty and wonder, Rouske explores it and can only see the pain and suffering, believing it's better off gone altogether. Which leads to an altercation with Rouske that causes Jasmine's death, leading Jade to becoming devastated and the rest of her journey is basically the five stages of grief. In the third and final work, the plot is basically Jade dies and is making her journey through the afterlife, searching to reunite with Jasmine so they both can make their way to the Wheel of Reincarnation together. "Waiting For Love" I think encapsulates that journey quite well I think. Enjoy listening:

A little late to the party, but here's my participation in the WIP Train Word game.

rules: for each letter of the word you're given, share an excerpt from a wip that starts with that letter.

Words I was given: FEAR and FIRE. Word I'm gonna give y'all (should you choose to accept): HOPE.

Gonna do FEAR for WIPs from The UnTitledverse series (Mario: Mother's Boy, The Tale of Mario Emmet, the Classroom of the Elite segment of my little What If? series and Chapter 2 of my Jurassic World: Before The Storm fic) and FIRE for the A Radioactive Calamity of Love, Bombs & Gore series (The Waters Of Life Flow).

F - Further as the kitchen, the dishes, the books and everything that was once Molly’s was swallowed with her.

Abigail wailed as she fell. Wailed for her to return. Wailed out into the darkness that consumed everything that made the kitchen Molly’s.

And then the fall stopped.

E - Everyone else were more afraid than anything else. Except for Mario, who seemed apologetic rather than enthusiastic.

A - As Ayanokoji began to depart from his desk, he paused. Horikita heard him let out a sigh, and much to her confusion, dropped his bag on top of his desk.

"What are you-?" Horikita wanted to question, but Ayanokoji soon interrupted her.

"Accepting my fate," he disclosed, not with much emotion, but certainly not his regular monotone.

Horikita blinked at him, shaking her head in confusion, "Huh?"

R - Regret.

That is what overcame me when I followed Lisa off the ramp of the ferry.

Once I stood on sturdier ground, the unforgiving heat swept over me quickly.

F - Fear grasped Alph and Amata, the latter of whom hugged Alph closely to her as he weakly tried to push her away, eyes wet from the thought of his failure to protect Amata and find his dad, all the while surrounded by dirty and vile vultures of human beings, who grinned with eager anticipation to reach satisfaction.

I - "I-I think this is it!" she stated aloud, relief and joy flowing out of the laugh she let out. Alph focused forward, really missing his glasses, but through his blurry vision, he could see a mass of metal welded together to form a gate. There was also a robot out the front of it, the corpse of a giant insect full of charred holes only a few feet away from it.

R - Ress' resting spot just happened to be where she needed to get said fresh air.

Ress didn't immediately acknowledge Amata, though the younger of the two wasn't foolish to believe she just didn't hear the vaultie.

Amata exhaled into the cold air as she pretended to admire the morning sky, although a morning sky was better than no sky in her opinion.

"Rough sleep?" Ress inquired from where she laid on the table, head tilted towards Amata's direction.

E - "Ergo," the Arcane Urias narrowed his blazing orange-red eyes on the shaking, frail human before him, "Your usefulness as a follower can no longer considered acceptable, Blackhall."

Without hearing any further excuses from the failure before him, the Arcane Urias gave his apprentice a nod; approved permission to end their acolyte's life.

The Plot Synopses of The UnTitledverse Masterpost

Note: May update over time. TW: A few possible lackluster descriptions.

Consists of four sagas. The Perfect Storm saga has around 46 WIPs, The Omniscient Rule saga has 15 WIPs, The UnTitled Ventures saga has 8 WIPs and finally The Ender saga has 6 WIPs that are six story length "chapters". There are also three associated WIPs that mostly connect with The Perfect Storm saga but one continues with the rest.

The Perfect Storm saga

Jurassic World: Before The Storm (Jurassic World) - Lisa Cobalt finds herself in a predicament; she is the legal guardian to her foster brother, Joaquin, but cannot financially support him and herself. That is, until an opportunity to fill the role of a paleo-veterinarian at the marvelous Jurassic World presents itself. However, not is all as it seems. When an abnormal dinosaur makes a sudden appearance, it brings with it mistrust among the staff, and a conspiracy that shrouds an inevitable doom. Life gifts lessons and fortune. Those who do not heed these lessons are fools bound to repeat history.

A Blast In The Past - In 1936, you return to your old workplace at Carmine Studios, your old partner wanting to have a reunion. What you did not anticipate was the darkness that welled up from the consequences of your departure. Live or die, trust or betray, kill or be killed, again and again, follow the path laid out for you, and dwell in the regret of crossing me.

FNAF: Ask Goldie Anything (Five Nights At Freddy's) - Goldie and the Fazbear Gang (both the Originals and the Toys) are asked questions by the readers on Wattpad, AO3, Tumblr and fanfiction net (and possibly more), influencing the plot into varying directions. Based on Grawolfquinn's FNAF comic Ask Goldie Anything, but with a twist.

Adapt To Survive (Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous) - Left behind on Isla Nublar, Joaquin Cobalt traverses the years spent on the dinosaur populated island, with the reluctant help of an industrialist by the name of Edward Carmine. Indo recovers from his fight with the Indominus, grieving the loss of his pack.

Jurassic World: Into The Eye Of The Storm (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) - Isla Nublar is on the brink of a volcanic destruction, so when mercenaries make their way to the island to collect the dinosaurs, Joaquin, Edward and Indo take separate paths to get off the burning island. All these paths lead them to the same Manor on the Mainland.

The Tale Of Mario Emmet (FNAF: The Silver Eyes) - Charlie and her friends return to Hurricane, Utah for the memorial of Michael Brooks and the children who went missing at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. When exploring the old pizzeria, they discover the ruined building is being used as a nest... and the creature is not too far away.

The Aftermath Equation (Jurassic World: Chaos Theory) - Evading death once more and tying up loose ends, Edward Carmine traces his obsession to the Dolomite Mountains of Italy, in the Biosyn Sanctuary run by Lewis Dodgson. He offers his services and funding. Meanwhile, Maisie learns more about the Joaquin who saved her.

The Adventures of Debra Holmes And Her Amazing Space Friend Mario Emmet - Set before The Tale Of Mario Emmet, in 1988, a Texan girl by the name of Debra Holmes makes the discovery of an alien shapeshifter who she refers to as "Mario Emmet" taking residence on her homestead. The beginning of a wholesome and tragic friendship, both human and alien have the time of their lives while Mario hides away from the U.S Government.

SPECIALS - A novelisation of a roleplay (that I have yet to make), in which the plot is not a priority and is merely a fun and chaotic celebration of several holidays hosted by Calvin Dearing... right?

The Dark Awakening - The sequel to A Blast In The Past, you have had enough with the narrator's torment and venture to break the cycle out of the purgatory he's left you in. A battle between first-person POV and second-person POV, hoping to finally reach third-person POV.

Jurassic World: The Perfect Storm (Jurassic World: Dominion) - The finale to the Jurassic World arc, Edward makes his final move to uncover the Aftermath Equation from the mechanical beast that keeps knowledge within itself, in order to evade death once more. It is up to Joaquin and Maisie to not only sabotage Edward, but also ruin Lewis Dodgson and Biosyn's plans until help arrives.

Honour Thy Father (Transformers Prime) - After a botched mission that held uncertain revelations, Autobot Arcee ventures across Earth to figure out her origins, with the aid of a droid by the name of Timekeeper, whose Time Watch had fallen into enemy hands.

Walking Fate Season 1 (The Walking Dead Game Season 1) - Lee Everett is given a second chance at life, in a world where the dead roam. He takes a girl by the name of Clementine under her wing, and they join up with more survivors as they endure the new world where death can be around every corner.

More Than An IT (IT (2017)) - IT has gone by many names, many forms. ITs' most favorable form being "Pennywise the Dancing Clown". IT has spent centuries devouring the fear and flesh of children. But what can it do against a child that has no fear of it?

Trust In Us (TFP) - The Autobots are lured to a possible energon lab buried underneath the Grand Canyon. The Decepticons had also followed the lab's signal, engaging in combat when meeting the Autobots. Decepticon Communications Officer Soundwave manages to enter the lab first, with Arcee hot on his heels. Events take a turn for the worse, as both Autobot and Decepticon find themselves locked inside a stronghold that's sole purpose was not to create energon, but keep mechanical horrors from reaching the surface. And they have the capacity to deceive.

Not The Strangest Thing (Stranger Things) - Hawkins, Indiana is a hot spring for supernatural occurrences. Follow a party of kids as they traverse the sinister realm that has broken into Hawkins, with government conspiracies and the Cold War looming over an opportunity to weaponize the creatures on the other side.

Gravity Falls Gets Weirder (Gravity Falls) - Twins Dipper and Mabel Pines are sent to Gravity Falls, Oregon, to spend the summer with their Great Uncle, or "Grunkle", Stan at his tourist attraction; the Mystery Shack. Here they attempt to make friends with the locals, and even two additional teen newcomers; Jack Bolt and Maze Woods. But after the discovery of a journal, Dipper and Mabel's summer vacation is flipped upside down and inside out once Gravity Falls reveals a more supernatural presence amongst the populace.

Demonic Clown Guardian (IT (2017)) - Georgie Denbrough makes friends with a lost clown by the name of Pennywise; and he lives in the sewers too! The Losers Club... take time to get used to this peculiar clown.

DOOMed (DOOM (2016)) - The demonic forces of Hell invade the UAC facility stationed on Mars, and in a desperate gamble, Samuel Hayden awakens the Doom Slayer to wipe them out and kill the progenitor behind the invasion; Olivia Pierce. The Slayer and his allies however discover that the Demonic forces have made another pact with the supernatural forces of the Wicked.

IT Gets Stranger (IT (2017)/Stranger Things crossover) - A crossover where the Losers Club take a school trip to Hawkins, Indiana, where they meet the Party.

Walking Fate Season 2 (TWDG Season 2) - After being separated with her group, Clementine fends for herself until she comes across survivors living in a cabin. This fateful encounter leads Clementine to face new enemies, meet familiar faces and the breakdown of a friendship thought to be unbreakable.

Strings Of Fear - A group of outcasts who form a friendship with each other investigate the odd disappearances surrounding Hurricane, Utah. Here these Outcasts come across a vile evil that feeds on the innocent.

Walking Fate: A Dark Era (The Walking Dead: A New Frontier) - Javier Garcia has watched as society had been overrun by the dead and pocketing factions of survivors wage war on each other; the New Frontier being prominent. To protect what remains of his family, Javi allies with a group co-lead by Clementine, despite the bounty on her head.

Strings Of Fear: The Second Part - Years after the first defeat of the cosmic horror that plagued their home town, the Outcasts return to end the creature that haunted them once and for all. But is there more to the horror than meets the eye?

DOOMed: From The Beginning (DOOM (2016)) - Set several months before the events of DOOMed and the fateful "Bring-Your-Kid-To-Work" Day, read how the staff of the UAC facility began its descent into horror and madness through the eyes of a recently transferred doctor and security guard; Leslie Who and Alfred "Jeff" Hopper.

Strings Of Fear: The Finale - The ending chapter to the Strings Of Fear arc. Trapped in a repetitive cycle of hatred and guilt, can one cretin escape his confines?

SCP: Confining Spaces (SCP: Confinement) - Connor, a young man who cannot die, is forced by the SCP Foundation to confront and interview multiple classes of SCPs. Though things take a dark turn upon one reality warper calling himself Jester taking an interest in Connor's nature, leading to the discovery of two warriors; an academic cyborg war hero by the name of Haven, and the Sarcophagus of Shame which houses the Wicked's tactician general, called the Overlord.

More Than Bargained For? (FNAF) - Lillian "Lena" Elliot is hired as the newest Night Guard for Freddy Fazbear's Pizza. Fazbear Entertainment believed she'd end up like the other guards... only to prove that she isn't trapped with the animatronics; the animatronics are trapped with her.

Kicking The Bucket Spills The Truth (TFP) - With Flatline's faction making their move, Autobots and Decepticons come to a decision; mark a truce to end a threat, or adjust to this third party?

Detroit: Battleground (Detroit: Become Human) - After Markus' recent victory in the android revolution, both humans and androids move to build a better future with each other; however, Elijah Kamski unleashes his hidden weapon to revert the androids back to servitude; a sentient megavirus designated "K.I.L.L.J.O.Y". However, he did not anticipate K.I.L.L.J.O.Y's capacity for strong emotions such as rage and the desire to dominate.

Smile Tunes (Hellaverse) - Samuel Who is the Morningstar Family's top advisor, trying to balance being Charlie's best friend and looking out for her as a royal advisor. Especially when it comes to her recent venture to redeem sinners with the help of Alastor, the infamous "Radio Demon", due to the upcoming Extermination. He's even more cautious when the strangest Exorcist comes under their care.

DOOMed: Death Isn't Eternal (DOOM: Eternal) - The sequel to DOOMed, follow the Doom Slayer once again as he continues his quest to wipe out Hell's ongoing invasion of Earth. The Slayer meets new allies, faces threats old and unfamiliar, and races against time as the Khan Makyr and the Wicked doom this Earth for their own ambitions.

Walking Fate: Reign Of Sin (TWDG The Final Season) - Clem leads what remains of her small family to a new home in the form of Ericon's Boarding School, lead by troubled teens. She uncovers plots, confronts the one person who embodies her traumas and fights against both the undead and the living.

Pet Sematary: Where Dead Is Better (Pet Sematary (2019)) - The Creeds move to Ludlow, Maine; a decision Louis had agreed to so he could land a stable job while being able to spend more time with his family. The family discover a burial ground hidden in the woods, near their home. Warnings are shared, but not heeded.

Down Memory Lane (Multifandom Crossover) - Calvin and Mario unite again to bring back a lost friend home, without gaining the attention of the Carver of Fate, the Chairman.

Red Dead Redemption: Peace For Thy Sinners (Red Dead Redemption 2) - Maddilyn Darling has been in the Van Der Linde Gang ever since she was nine, raised alongside Arthur Morgan and John Marston into the life of an outlaw by Dutch van der Linde, Hosea Matthews and Abigail Emmet. Through her eyes, she watches her family grow, some members more likeable than others, and she watches as they fall. Her story begins before, during and after the fall of the Van Der Linde Gang.

Truth Or Dare? (Multifandom Crossover) - A menagerie of characters are collected by the dealmaker Jester to play the most intense game of all time... Truth or Dare?

What If? (Multifandom/Crossover) - A collection of alternate routes a story or one of my fics could have taken. What if Kiyotaka Ayanokoji came to the ANS with Ichika Amasawa and Takuya Yagami? What if Clementine died instead of Lee Everett? What if Abigail Emmet never learned to appreciate human culture, and raised Mario in her species traditions? Yo-Kai Watchlace (Yo-Kai Watch) - Katie Forester was just an average eleven-year-old girl attending Springdale Elementary School with her friends Nathan "Nate" Adams, Edward "Eddie" Archer and Barnaby "Bear" Bernstein. Over the weekend, she comes across an old crank machine, which gifts her a Watchlace and a Yo-Kai butler by the name of Shallow. He "guides" her to compete against the other Yo-Kai Watch user in the area to help as many Yo-Kai as possible for means unknown to Katie.

The Devil Of All Time - Follow the trial of Edward Carmine in the mid-nineties, accused for the ritualistic murder of Leslie Who's child.

Walking Fate: The Final Season (TWDG) - The final confrontation between Delta and the survivors of Ericson, and the end of Clementine and Malcrum's journeys.

We Stand Together (Multifandom Crossover) - The Wicked have banded an army together to accomplish their goals of domination across this corner of the Multiverse, all in the name of their dark master. Joaquin, Calvin and Mario unite their allies to push back against the evil that has risen to claim their glory again.

Gravity Falls: Next Gen (Gravity Falls) - Thirty years after the events of Gravity Falls, Gwen Pines and Sara Gleeful return with their families to visit Soos and his family at the Mystery Shack. However, an old enemy awakens, and with him a plan to bring some new friends to the party. Based on turquoisespace35's Next Gen AU comics.

Subnautica: Deeper Depths (Subnautica: Below Zero) - Taking place five years after the Aurora's crash and Planet 4546B's liberation from the Kharaa, Robin Ayou returns to the antarctic region of the planet after recovering from an accident on an Alterra expedition three years beforehand. However, she finds her half-sister, Sam, had taken lead in the expeditions after Robin's absence, and went missing for some time. To find out the truth, she has to go deeper in the cold, dark depths of the treacherous ocean... where she discovers secrets under the ice.

The Tale Of Mario Emmet is a fic set during the Five Nights At Freddy's: The Silver Eyes. This fic primarily focuses on my original character Mario Emmet, one of my main characters in The Perfect Storm saga and The UnTitledverse series as a whole, his journey of shedding his xenophobia towards others, and companionship with his human friends and eventual romance with Charlie Emily. It also somewhat diverges from the novels however by having "Dave Miller" unable to secure a spot as a night guard for the mall that surrounds "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza" (unfortunately, he will show up later). Mario's first introduction to Charlie and friends was while he was under the guise of a human... his second official introduction is messier and more hostile than the first, as shown below:

"Where do you think you're going?"

Charlie froze. Dread returned like the force of a freight train. John was quick to twist around, and his reaction confirmed her fear.

Mario was free.

As the others followed John's example, Charlie slowly glanced back to see Mario stepping out of the darkness of the animatronics maintenance room.

He wasn't close to her, separated several feet from each other, a gap that echoed the visceral betrayal of broken trust.

Mario's silver eyes glared into Charlie's brown with that same soul piercing gaze once more. From what Charlie could observe, Mario was hardly tired from the events of the night, nor of his earlier detainment. He held himself tall with determination and grit that matched her own.

"You aren't now, are you?" Mario chuckled, finding the idea incredulous, "After what you've all done tonight? None of you are leaving this building."

Clay took authoritative action immediately, taking his service weapon out to aim at the culprit behind his son's kidnapping and torment. John chose to take the chance to prioritize Charlie's safety over his own, stepping forwards to pull her back.

His initiative was inconvenienced by Charlie's unmoving state, though she was still conscious enough to pace a few steps back with him.

"Mario Emmet, put your hands in the air now!" Clay ordered the night guard, "You are under arrest. Any weapons you have on your person, you are to relieve yourself of them now. If you resist and attempt to endanger the life of civilians further, I will be forced to take lethal action. Do you understand?"

Mario did not shift his focus to Clay, intent on keeping Charlie trapped in their shared eye contact. His features twist to something less angry, and more doleful. He spoke, and Charlie could not help but believe that his words were solely for her to hear.

"Why couldn't you just let it rest?"

Charlie could not find it in herself to speak nor reply, and found herself unable to as John further pulled her behind the chief of police.

Mario soon returned to glaring, shifted his attention to Clay as he scrutinized the wider man.

A tense silence overtook the building; Mario staring down Clay, Charlie being held protectively in John's arms, Jessica supporting Carlton while Marla and Lamar kept their arms defensively on Jason.

From what Charlie could deduce, past Mario's glare was a pensive consideration. She could tell he was weighing his options, in spite of what little opportunity Clay was leaving him with.

Clay's features hardened, as he kept his weapon on Mario with little intent to misfire should Mario prove to be more unreasonable than he was.

As Clay was about to open his mouth to give a warning, Mario broke the tense silence with a sigh, raising his hands up in surrender. It caught Charlie by surprise; it seemed uncharacteristic of him to take such a chance. He didn't have any weapons on him, that she was sure of.

In spite of what should be an uplifting turn of events on the long frivolous night, she couldn't help but feel something felt wrong, but she couldn't figure out why.

Clay released some of the tension he had been shouldering, one hand retreating from his service weapon to reach for his cuffs as he steadily made his way towards Mario.

With Clay's guard weakened, a newfound glint sparked in Mario's eyes.

Charlie noticed it before anyone else, but was unable to efficiently put a stop to Mario's following actions much like everyone else.

Clay had taken a step closer when his shoulder was pierced by a bulky and sharp serrated appendage. It wasn't a hook like Foxy's; more similar to the claws of a praying mantis.

He lost grip of his weapon from the sudden pain of a well-planned attack. The claw separated from Clay, dripping blood to stain the dirty tiles. A red stain grew on his clothes around the wound.

Clay stumbled back, with both Charlie and John forcing themselves to move in order to catch the chief as Carlton called out for his father in alarm.

With Clay groaning and hissing under their arms, Charlie turned her attention back to Mario, and her eyes widened.

The claw retracted to Mario's arm, shifting and breaking apart into his hand. He flexed his hand, rubbing his wrist.

His silver eyes held the group where they stood, most trying to understand the logistics of what just occurred. Charlie, though, was the only one amongst them that came to a conclusion that, while unbelievable, was comprehensible to her.

Mario sighed, sneering at the group with a disdain that, in the short time Charlie knew him, didn't think he was capable of.

"I know that this is... hard for you to come to terms with," Mario stated, and though cold, there was a hint of sincerity, "I know the instinct to run, hide, resist... is coursing through your blood as we speak. Your... fear is evident. And I know you will think this unfair."

Mario took a step forward, the ceiling light above him flickering. Perhaps it was age. Or maybe, Charlie found herself thinking, It is something else entirely.

"After all, it's not your fault that you came here tonight," Mario continued, his voice low but audible, "You were lured here by your grief. Your longing for a friend who was taken from you - unjustly, of course- by a malicious force that held no remorse nor empathy for the victims he left bleeding. For that I cannot fault you. For that, you have my sympathy."

The ceiling lights soon followed the example of the first, all flickering at a pace with no rhythm, no justification given the functional state of the generators.

As Mario continued his slow approach, Charlie and John dragged a pale Clay to the safety of their group. There was a small gasp from within their half-circle, grabbing Charlie's attention like everyone else's.

"The exit!" Jason called out, panic creeping into his tone.

Following where the boy pointed, the group felt dread crawl its ugly head to peek into their hearts as they realized the root of Jason's distress- the broken down bricks that Clay had entered through the restaurant was mended once more into a solid wall.

Their exit was gone - including the sealed door.

"However," Mario gained the groups attention as the atmosphere grew tenser, "In spite of my lenience to allow you to make your peace while you could, you have continuously encroached upon my territory, disrupted my nest. My haven, with little apology and little sincerity in your promises to leave, with an intent to keep coming back. Like your redhead friend, you've all reached too close to the sun little Icarus's. So now, there must be a penalty."

His words became more distorted as he spoke, an echo behind his voice as his body began to twitch as unnaturally as the lights above them.

With each passing flicker, Charlie witnessed how his body changed; the skin on his face hardened and grew pale, his body slimmer till his skin seemed to cling to his bones, like some starved beast. Limbs elongating until he was tall and lank, his uniform morphing into his body as it darkened and changed color.

Claws that weren't too dissimilar to steel broke from his finger tips, as well as femur spines that belonged to an insect protruding from his thighs. His withered into nothing, white stripes forming across his dark limbs.

Despite what she was witnessing - what they all were witnessing - the worst part was the sounds. Hearing flesh tearing like paper, snapping and crunching like bones, and a guttural groan unlike that of a hungry predator was an unsettling experience that sickened Charlie.

The transformation neared its completion, with Mario's head widening to inhuman degrees; his forehead, complimented with a concerning crack on the left, became a discerning appearance, just as his mouth widened too- spread past the limits of an actual human.

Various unnatural features decorated his face and body; the circles imitating rosy cheeks, the pair of twin specks that seemed to emulate brows, red lipstick around the lip-less mouth and the twin trails of blue that ran down to his smile. His no longer wore a uniform; it was instead replaced with a sleeveless buttoned vest that manifested a small cape that reached down to his hips. A flower bloomed on his right side, and a bow tie at his neck.

The last change was his eyes; the white of his sclera melted into the creeping darkness, his silver iris with it. A new pair of eyes replaced them, rolling up from below. His pupils were white instead of black, his irises shined silver with a small darker ring separating the pupil from the bigger, more mesmerizing rings.

His appearance was alien and wrong and... so familiar to Charlie. Perhaps an unfinished animatronic glimpsed in his garage. But this... was warped and personalized in a sense - tailored to fit his preferences. The thought invoked rejection towards the impossibility of the situation; seeking logic that wasn't there as confusion froze her in place.

Everyone else were more afraid than anything else. Except for Mario, who seemed apologetic rather than enthusiastic.

"You have disturbed my nights long enough, taking what little I could grant you. What little I could conserve. And thus, there must be a 'give' to return on your part," Mario stated or... whatever he truly was, with voice littered with guttural snarls and chitters, "Know I did not want this. I'd never think to do this. But you've left me with little choice. I've ignored my hunger long enough. And besides..."

Mario gazed directly into Charlie's shocked brown eyes.

"...you can't fight your nature."

Jessica's hands gripped onto Charlie, pulling her closer to the huddled group as Carlton took over supporting his dad from John. His grey eyes glanced over to the animatronics that were by the sidelines... including the golden bear that Michael was inside.

"Uh... guys," he caught the others attention, directing it to the animatronics on standby.

Until all, with exception to Michael, began to make their way to the hallway.

Why aren't they staying?

"Go join the others Michael," Mario tells the Golden Bear. There seems to be some garbled indiscernible reply from the suit... a protest perhaps?

Though it's seems to be all for naught when Mario snaps back, "Go back to slumber Michael. I'll make this quick."

Michael lingers, but the glint of life in the bear suit's sockets flicker out; darkness cast over the yellow suit.

"Now," Mario growled when he turned his attention to them, clawed tendrils breaking from under his shoulders, as another pair of thin legs extend out from the two limbs, reminiscent of a spider, "It's time to feed."

For Silva's Hope, allow me to present to you Silva's first of many face-offs with one Nadi Sinclair, aka John's right hand (and simp), aka former member of Taskforce 141 (from Call To Arms duology), aka a really good shot! Enjoy below:

Another shot rang out, the glass of the wrecked ute shattered above her.

Silva scooted away from any openings her unseen attacker had on her, shrunk low while she kept her limbs close to herself.

With another shot, a bullet dented into the ute, but remained strong against her attacker.

She could hear gunfire and shouts from enemies and allies alike, as the peggies assault Fall's End and the valley's Resistance defend themselves.

She inspects her glock, swiftly checking her magazine.

Empty.

Silva banged the back of her head against the vehicle's metal, cursing herself for her shortsightedness.

She puts the glock back into her holster, hand reaching for her knife.

Until a peggie rounded the corner of the ute, shovel in his hands and raising it to hit her.

Surprised, Silva barely had enough time to roll away from the strike. The peggie, who's eyes seem glazed with a misty green, slammed his shovel against the dirt, face etching with confusion.

And clarity once I'm done with him, Silva thought as she brought out her knife, the stone handle feeling right in her gloved hands. As she moved to deliver a killing blow, there was a small part of herself that felt like she was forgetting something.

A familiar bang rang out, and Silva realized she was going to get a painful reminder of the situation she had gotten stuck in to punish her instincts.

Silva doubled over, her knife dropped as the sharp sting was replaced with a burning pain once the bullet excited her bicep. Silva clutched her wound, blood seeping into her gloves. She dropped to the floor when another shot was fired, hitting the ground nearby.

The peggie used her disadvantage to attack, throwing himself onto her. Silva had rolled to her back to counter, but only managed to grip onto shovel's handle.

She quickly realised he wanted to choke her out with it, either to kill her or render her unconscious. Neither was appealing, and opted to keep his shovel from her throat.

Which was proving difficult from the strain of the wound she received from John's sharpshooter, the pressure and applied strength weakening her grip against the ridiculously strong peggie.

As the handle crept closer to her throat, her strength just about ready to give in, a shot rang out.

And the peggie's brain matter and blood sprayed against the white ute, his corpse collapsing onto her.

Shoving it off, she searched for her attacker. Until she recognized a familiar green laser pointer that belonged to her rescuer.

Following the green light, she saw Grace had set herself up on the garage's roof.

Her radio burst to life, Grace's voice piercing through the chaos of gunfire and yells, "You good Deputy?"

Silva let out a relieved huff, hissing when she moved her wounded arm. She used her functional hand to grab the radio and reply, "Got a gunshot wound to the bicep. Went clean through but got nothing to clean it or stitch myself up with. Not to mention-"

A bullet denting the roof of the ute interrupted her, followed by a shot to the hood and the deflation of a tire.

"-I've got this gillipollas hounding after me. How's everything over on your part?"

"Jerome's leading the push back against the Peggie's front assault while Mary May's keeping the wounded inside her bar and restocking any ammo we need," Grace informs Silva as she fires a shot far off from Silva, "John's bodyguard, Sinclair, is holed up on the water tower. I guess neither she nor John were happy with the destruction of their new toy."

Silva could guess she was referring to the Revelator. Wiping the sweat from her forehead, she responded, "Can you reach her from your position?"

Grace hummed, but not the affirmative kind, "Negative, and neither can she, though her ire seems more focused on you. However, I can take out the blissed-out peggies running toward your position."

Of course there's more of that guy. Which wouldn't be an issue if she could use both her hands, a loaded gun and didn't have to worry about John's enthusiastic psycho sniper blowing her head off.

Taking slow methodic breaths, Silva used the dropped shovel to safely reach for her knife, managing to return it to her waiting hand as another shot broke off the shovel's spade.

She inquired, "Is there any cover I could run up to?"

"Barely, but enough to be out of Sinclair's scope," Grace affirmed, much to Silva's relief, "I'd advise going for the peggie van furthest to your right."

"Can you cover me?" Silva asked, legs prepped to make a run. Her wound ached, but she forced herself to push back the pain. Gripping her knife with her good hand, she awaited Grace's response.

The radio came to life once more, and Grace assured her, "I've got your back, Dep."
