I am so close to finishing the sleeve on the cardigan, about another inch left. This pattern is Greek Amphora Cardi it also my cardigan that survived the roomba trying to eat it. I have modified the pattern slightly to make it a full length sleeve cardigan. The second sleeve will go so much faster as I won't be doing the calculations for extending the design.

Do you ever start a knitting project and regret it, but then you’ve spent so long on it you feel like you just have to stick with it? Or are you normal?

Sitting in a waiting room yesterday, the receptionist told me I could sell these socks. She said she'd be willing to pay as much as $12 for them.

Self-taught one work-in-progress at a time so that there’s some beginner stuff I don’t know and advanced stuff that I do know and I will forever be making silly beginner mistakes in complex projects that I’ll probably never complete :)

I have finished the colourwork for my greek pottery inspired cardigan! Next step is gentle blocking, then into steeking, and finally finishing of the edges and button band. The pattern is Greek Amphora Cardi and this is the same cardigan that the Roomba tried to eat back in the fall.
Bonus image of all my floats. I am very happy with how it has been turning out. Took ages to sew in all the ends on the sleeves. Very glad I decided on the second sleeve to leave the longer floats between motifs and save on ends to weave in.

Some yarn crafts I've been working on lately.
I added some stitching to a sweater with some multicolour earth-toned yarn. I think it works well with the embroidery I previously did on it.
I did some more yarn stitching onto a plain brown cardigan, I changed the buttons too. I tried out doing a couple spiral sun patterns on the pockets, I'll be adding more to the rest of the sweater as well.
I also did a bit of knitting. I had to refresh myself on the garter stitch, because it's been a while since I first tried it out, then I learned how to do the stockinette stitch for the first time! <|:) It's not perfect, but I don't need it to be ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I'm just trying to enjoy making stuff.

WIP: blanket for Julia
One thing about being in your twenties is that people around you will be having babies. Even though I mostly hang with other childfree lesbians, I cannot escape this development. So every time I get a text with an ultrasound picture, I jump at the opportunity to make some cute baby stuff. This is a blanket for the baby of a good colleague of mine, who has been wanting a child for a really long time. In hindsight I should have picked different yarn, different gauge and a different pattern, because this is taking a really long time. But in the end it's nice to make new parents happy :)
