Synopsis

In a world protected by superheroes, Elliot is an ordinary sixteen-year-old who's spent his whole life in foster care. A year into his stay with the president of the Elite Watcher's Agency of America, or EWAA for short, an infamous villain kidnaps him, and he discovers he might not be as normal as he once thought.

Navigating a life of new powers, new appendages, and new friends, he trains to become as great a hero as his foster father and brother, but a so-called friend's betrayal and a revelation about his birth show him that being a hero doesn't always mean being good.

Elliot is the foster—and later adoptive—son of the Gray Ghost and Reaper, and brother of Cyber and Siren. He becomes a hero with the training class of 2023, at the age of 17, after learning of his powers only months prior. He is one of the first trans heroes in America, and people say he bears a shocking resemblance to his late mother, the villain Firebird.

Cyrus Raynor

Alias: Cyber

Powers: Enhancement—all; Other—tech manipulation

Wings: N/A

Cyrus is the adoptive son of the Gray Ghost and Reaper. He's the oldest of three and is closer with his youngest brother, Elliot, despite having known Dorian since he was four. They became a hero with the training class of 2018 at the age of 16, and have since become the head of the Renegade division of elite heroes. Despite being relatively famous as Cyber, his true identity is not publicly known.

John Bennett

Alias: The Gray Ghost

Powers: Other—vocal control

Wings: Membrane—gray

John is the president of the Elite Watcher's Agency of America, aka EWAA, America's hero agency. He has held this position for many years with his wife, Reaper, as the vice president. The couple has one biological and two adoptive sons, all of whom are heroes. John is often compared to his predecessor, the late Phantom, who is often described as one of the greatest heroes of all time.

Azima Ebeid

Alias: Mystic

Powers: Enhancement—speed, agility, reflexes, senses

Wings: N/A

Azima has been Elliot's best friend since he was placed with his current family. When he learned about his powers, she was the first to offer to train him. She becomes a hero with the training class of 2023 at the age of 17, joining the 19 other Muslim supers to be accepted into EWAA and among those the 4 other women.

Aaron "AJ" Winters

Alias: Shadow

Powers: Other—shadow manipulation, shadow travel

Wings: N/A

AJ is the first hero to arrive to the scene when Elliot is kidnapped and subsequently held captive in a burning building, though the fire prevents him from reaching and rescuing him. He is also a member of the Renegades, having become a hero with the training class of 2022 at the age of 16. Despite his abilities and alias, he is easily the brightest character in the main cast, in both his clothing style and his personality.

After Firebird's death, the official organization of villains disbanded, seemingly forever, until Glitch appeared in early 2017 and became the first major threat to EWAA in nearly 11 years. Since then, they have amassed a small army of fellow supers with grievances against EWAA, who now form the new, unofficial organization of villains.

WIP Intro: Raynor

Amidst the vast oceans of Earth, and parallel to its physical reality, lies a realm of intense magic, carefully hidden away from the prying eyes of humans. They call this land, Raynor.

Raynor had been concealed a millinea ago, when the gods decided that few humans were worthy of the gifts they and their children bestowed upon the inhabitants of the land.

Even then, magic has slipped between the veil holding Raynor at bay, and many humans met the magic eagerly. They wrote stories and claimed of other sightings, they used it to explain the complexities of their lives. But too many also harbored the desire to exploit the magic for personal gain.

Now this didn't mean all those in Raynor were squeaky clean and delightful with thier use of magic. The fae were mischievous and the dragons temper was thinly controlled, and the warlocks, masters of dark matter, were the worst of them. But alas, peace was realatively stable in Raynor, no boats being rocked, so to say. But the waves are growing larger...

I've been sitting on this for a while now, but here it is!! I made a post a few months back about how I wanted to create my own universe for my wips to take place in with cross overs etc like how the MCU does it and I have been doing some serious, never before done worldbuilding. It was a steep learning curve but I am so excited to be at the point where I have things to share!

Due to how complex I want this to be I have no timeline for it but tbh, I dont care if I work in Raynor for the rest of my life. I have loads of ideas, both old and new that I want to rework into this place.

Gods and Demigods

Now most of us here are very familiar with the Gods ruling over the majority of Earth, but for Raynor, there are 3 in particular that work together over the land. The Gods sired some children over the years, resulting in demigods that spread magic further through the land.

Totyx - God of Life

Totyx is responsible for the life of all souls containing magic. Totyx oversees the birth of magi and mystical creatures and ensures each one is born with a soul.

Chadhor is responsible for the happening of the souls after they have died. Good souls are ferried along to a pleasant afterlife or reincarnation, but souls harbouring a great evil become demons. Demons are kept tightly secured away but they're very good at picking locks.

The Assassins Party

The Chronicles Of Metina and Temun

A little unconventional to do a 2 in 1 wip intro but I have a good reason for it!

First off, these do take place in the Raynorverse but the Chronicles Of metina and temun will most likely be able to read separately. Click here for more info on Raynor!

The Chronicles Of Metina and Temun

Genre: Fantasy, adventure, action

POV: (most likely) first person dual POV

Synopsis?:

A short story collection featuring Metina and Temun, two rebellious friends who lead a group of rogues, warriors, and thieves against a tyrannical Queen in the warlands. This collection features all kinds of heists and missions that the two embark on to take back from the Queen and her loyal minions.

The Assassins Party

Genre: Fantasy, adventure, action

POV: first person (Metina)

Synopsis?:

Metina is a notorious assassin with a wide reach of control amongst the warlands more... morally ambiguous types. Finally reaching her last straws, she decides that now is the perfect time for her to pull in all her favours and go straight for the head of the beast - The Queens Castle. Accompanied by her best friend, Temun, the two plan the largest job they've ever dared to try, but along the way they stumble upon a group of creatures, mismatched and out of place, that just might be able to help them out.

Ah yes, that's right, The Assassins Party falls into 'The Legends of Raynor' and will take place once the barrier has fallen and our characters brace themselves for the rest of Earth.

A little snippet to entice you:

"I need you to trust me, Temun, or get out."

"God, you are so dramatic sometimes," he said as he walked over to the drawing board. "I put my life in your hands 15 years ago when I let you teach me to swim. I haven't asked for it back since," he reminded me and I smiled.

"I hate you," I replied and he slung an arm over my shoulder as he inspected the board.

"We need more weapons," he said and I nodded.

"I've called in some pretty big favours," I said with a grin and I saw Temuns eyes light up like a little kid at a fair.

"You didn't."

"I did," I said smugly, checking the time on my pocket watch, "any minute now."

The Wand and the Wolf

I think its time I do a WIP intro because I want to share this story so badly and just info dump about it so let's start here.

Status: Outlining / first draft

Series: sub series in The Legends Of Raynor

POV: 2 first person POVs

Protagonist/s: Kyda (she/her, werewolf, big golden retreiver energy, absolutely always the sunshine of the friend group). Ibhan (he/him, warlock, fatally sarcastic and unbothered by everyone - will give you scary dog privileges in public).

Badly explained overview : Kyda and Ibhan are mates, and while that doesn't mean a romantic future is in store for them, Kyda can't help but want one while Ibhan is confused by the onslaught of emotions he's never felt before. Is this a slow burn romance? Enemies to lovers? Will they Kiss???

Current blurb:

"You have a weird look on your face," I said and his frown deepened.

"I do not," he closed his spell book and ran a hand through his shaggy hair.

"Hmm," I hummed under my breath as I smoothed the crease between his brow. He grabbed my wrist, his hand warm and firm, and pulled it down.

"Personal space."

"Sorry," I said with a small smile. Much progress had been made.

"Werewolves," he huffed, letting go of my wrist and snapping open his book.

"Warlocks," I hissed, snatching the book from his hands.

Kyda and Ibhan were opposing forces from the moment they met. But Kydas belief in mates keeps her tethered to the brooding warlock who had been happily living a life of isolation before he met her. Well, maybe not happily per se, but quietly and contently.

But soon, a conspiracy within the pack, and some magic that just doesn't add up, finally begins to widen the chasm between the two of them. A chasm they had just begun to build a bridge over. Will the rule of opposite attraction win, or will the nature of their relationship burn out just as it should?

I never really entertained the idea of a romance heavy plot before but I have to say, I'm kind of enjoying this so far and I'm excited to write more of it. Some clichés and tropes and other things to expect:

This is the first book that I'm writing that is taking place in my Raynor universe, I think its a great place to start exploring the world and has already highlighted places to develop and think about further and possibilities for something new too.

1. Raynor

I am currently working on setting the scene for my world called Raynor. Raynor is going to be my foundation for several series of work that will eventually come together in one combined series (kinda like MCU and the Avengers if that makes sense). I will be taking some of my old/abandoned wips and reviving them into the series including Her Golden Eyes, A Ferals Howl, and some other odd ideas I've had over the years.

This is heavily fantasy based, dabbling into all types and creatures of magic and bringing them together. There will be lots of found family, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, action, adventure, and plot twists!! I will post a link for master post soon. click here for the wip intro!!

The Wand and The Wolf takes place in Raynor, and follows the story of Kyda and Ibhan, a werewolf and warlock, who are bound to be soulmates but who never see eye to eye. As more and more things go wrong, will they finally overcome their differences or will the chaos break them???

Ah thank you! I cane up with it on the spot last night and there is an outline slowly evolving for it inside my head so I may actually jot it down and make a formal wip intro for it over thus Christmas break because why work on 1 wip when you can have eleven!!

For now if anyone wants to be on the taglist for this when I do introduce it please let me know!! It's kind a high fantasy steampunk dystopian vibe that fits somewhere into The Legends of Raynor in its grand storyline!!
