Turnip progress for this weekend. Mol now has a weapon!

I had a broken, metal, Ork Kannon in my bits box, I drilled a hole in the back and jammed it on the plastic rod he's holding. I carved a crude blade out of plasticard and glued/greenstuffed it under the cannon barrel. I'm incredibly happy with how it looks!

Next step is to make his backpack full of weapons. Also I don't think I had a proper reference for how big he is so I added a Space Marine for scale. He's a big boy!

First ever attempt at using Dirty Down Rust Effects. This stuff is really fun to paint with, just make sure the bottle is thoroughly mixed before applying it. The first coat I tried ended up being more like a thick brown shade wash. Second attempt after I stirred the pot with a toothpick and then the rust effects actually dried properly.
