I need a face claim or a detailed description of Kathy's pixie Cherie!

(I have been re reading the whole series and just realized that Kathy has a bonded pixie?!? Disappointed on myself)

Kay so, Cherie is actually from the series Pop Pixie (I watched like 2 seasons)

she’s the pixie of weather (her emotions control the weather) and she’s a super diva and for some reason at some point in the main series she replaced Tune as Musa’s pixie?

I only mentioned her once in passing so I don’t blame you for not noticing

Digit: a tragedy in three acts (a ramble in three bullet points)

I’m an above average Tecna and Tecna-adjacent character enjoyer on most days, but sometimes I just get irrationally angry about what the franchise did to her (or to everyone, really, but SPECIFICALLY to her). 1) Digit is a great Pixie. I love her, I collect her merch, she’s beautiful. An angel, really, but does she balance out Tecna like the other Pixies do with their Winx? Not in the slightest. If anything, they make each other worse.

2) Digit is a guy in the PopPixie series, which Rainbow handled exactly how one would expect – instead of making for some trans rep and gaining a larger audience, they mould her exactly after another male pixie that’s exclusive to the spin-off called Fixit, and have their powers be almost identical and try to have all of that go unnoticed. Which, if we’re talking about trans rep - looking at the target demographic - might just not be the way to do it.  3) then by season six they have Cherie replace Digit, which would be great if Tecna didn’t already have an ENTIRE ‘feel your feelings’ arc three seasons before that and also if they maybe... mentioned where Digit had gone off to. (They didn’t). The obvious answer to would make for a good Pixie for Tecna is Cherie - had Rai properly introduced her in season two. Digit would have been a better fit for Bloom, or maybe Roxy (if earth fairies bond to Pixies the same way Magix’ fairies do) or maybe one of the background characters, MAYBE even to a villain with no grasp of technology if they really wanted to do something wild but NOOOOOOOO----

WINX PIXIE REDESIGN

ok 3rd time's the charm right!

HI HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY REDESIGN THAT HAS NOW OFFICIALLY... taken 100 hours of work.

So let's GET RIGHT INTO IT

I'll have more details on them in the images below

Lockette: for her i added more blue to the design to match bloom & sky

Chatta: made the hair green so that she stands out more as well as adding bells for extra obnoxiousness

Amore: wanted to keep her more fairytale esk and give her a slightly more detailed outfit

Cara: shifted her design focus away from sweets and changed her hair

Digit: kept him a boy like in pop pixie and made his design more workshop than robot by giving him little overalls

Cheren: decided to also change cheri into a boy so i had more design freedom for cheri was probably my least favourite design.

Aria: tune's redesign.. i once again changed the name! We were getting too many c characters otherwise over all i just simplified the outfit and changed out the hairstyle for a more elegant but loose look.

Piff: took some inspiration from her pop pixie design for the hair and made her pj's extra fluffy!!

Over all changes i made for the pixies

Switched out the wings for antenna with boys having thinner antenna and girls thicker

Made the vibe more bug to differentiate them more from fairies

Facial detailing for added interest & petal eyelashes for interest and giving the eyes a wider color field even on small scale

Now please enjoy 60 hours condensed down into 3 minutes

Winx Club Hot Take 5!

I adored The Pixies ever since they debuted in Season 2. I love their designs, I love their names, I love how they contributed to the story and world-building (mainly in Season 2's case), and I love their relationship with The Winx. The idea of having our main fairies have a special bond with these little sweethearts was such a cute idea! Especially with their dynamics. Bloom was bonded with Lockette (The Pixie of Portals) and while Bloom is outgoing, headstrong, and a little hotheaded (insert fire-related joke here), Lockette is shy and a bit of a scaredy-cat. Musa was bonded with Tune (The Pixie of Manners) so Musa's carefree personality contrasts with Tune's conservatism. Flora was bonded with Chatta (The Pixie of Gossip) and because Chatta's loud personality and endless speaking helps Flora come out of her shell, it helped her confess her feelings to Helia. Stella bonds with Amore (The Pixie of Love) who adores Stella while being elegant and poise (the features Stella thinks she has). Techna bonds with Digit (The Pixie of Nanotechnology) who brings out Techna's louder emotions such as excitement. Lastly, we have Piff (The Pixie of Sweet Dreams) who is a baby. While being bonded with Aisha, she brings her comfort by staying near her and is able to chase her nightmares away. The Pixies were great additions to the series and it's cute that they got their own spinoff show, PopPixie!

Then.....Season 6 rolled around! Now, Season 6 had come out around the time Winx Club was approaching it's 10th year anniversary and that meant bringing back a lot of nostalgia but also missing the point of why that nostalgia mattered in terms of the characters. Back in Seasons 2&3 and maybe 4, each of The Pixies had their own personalities and charm to them that complimented their bond with The Winx. Now, Season 6 made The Pixies all act similar to each other which diminishes their bond and when one of the Pixies does show more personality, it flanderizes their former selves. I also have to address the elephant in the room that Digit and Tune straight up got REPLACED by two pixies from the Poppixie series despite the fact that they CAN be seen in The Pixie Village later on during the season. So that means Musa is now supposedly bonded with Cherie (The Pixie of Weather and apparently the richest pixie) and Techna is now supposedly bonded with Caramel or Cara for short (The Pixie of Super Strength). I don't have anything against Cherie or Cara but I wish they had a better opportunity to shine rather than being known as the new girls who replaced two fan favorite pixies. I believe the spinoff does them more justice than Season 6.

I love The Pixies, but they also deserved better! They're so precious!

Chapter 2

They hadn't seen the forests of Magic burn in a long time, back then they were Seniors in Alfea during that time Valtor had attacked with the 4 elements, now it was quite different.Below them, they saw giant humanoids with glowing, red eyes, small nostrils and mouth with a purple tongue

They had two long, wooden horns on their head, muscular they were with bushes and leaves all over their greenish wooden looking body, Broken shackles were pulled against the scorched Ground.

The Winx has never seen a creature like this but what matters now is to get down there and help any fairy and any Creature, they transformed to Enchantix and took off, down below the Pixies and Fairy Animals were Panicking, getting grabbed left and right by the Monsters, there was Dark Blue Bunny with small fairy wings guiding fairy animals to safety, howls and Growls terrify them yet they kept moving.

As the Bunny led them out of the Forests, the Monsters cornered, the Bunny huddled with its fellow woodland friends as Claws of the humanoid beasts prepare to swiped through them a Fiery Shields burst from a Red Headed Fairy,

"Hands off Kiko! Hah!"

Bloom had arrived, she stretched her arms out and a Fiery Orange shield materialized from her hands, the monsters threw punches to the shield causing it to crack and unleash led a wave of powerful fiery energy knocking the monsters over.The Rest of Winx arrived, all in their Enchantix forms and Roxy's Believix form, Bloom shout out,

"Come on Winx! Attack!"

"Sound Cage! Sea of Light!"

Musa trapped and Stella blinded the Beasts, while Aisha and Roxy searched for the rest of Pixies and Fairy Animals to bring them to safety, encountering some of Tree like beasts along the Way

"Scorpion Tail! Morphix Barrier!"

The Beasts fell over and Aisha trapped them, she along with Tecna and Musa, saved the Fairy Animals and saw a Familiar Faces, a Sleepy yet alert pixie, a well mannered Pixie and Technological genius guarding other Pixies and Fairy Animals.

"Piff! It's me Aisha, do you remember me?"

"To da? Ai..sha!"

It has been a few years since she had seen Piff, no longer was she a Baby Pixie, but a bonded pixie will always remember their Bonded Fairies, Piff flew up to give her a hug,

"Oh Piff! I missed you!"

Piff didn't say anything else, she was happy.Musa and Tecna smiled as they meet Digit and Tune again beside them were Cherie and Caramel.

"Musa! Tecna!"

"Oh Digit it's been quite awhile!"

"I have a 75 percent increase in Physical Affection!"

"My Musa you've grown into a outstanding Lady"

"Why thank you Tune!"

The peace didn't last long when they heard a yelp from Roxy, Aisha and Piff gasped and rushed over to catch Roxy from falling,

"Roxy!"

"Aisha...I...I....I can't..."

The Beasts broke out of the Morphix barriers, their Red eyes glowed bright as they locked on them, the Atmosphere was Cold, Daunting and a Primal sense of Fear took hold, they hadn't even noticed that on the other side, some of these Beasts had escaped from Musa's Sound Cages, Aisha's instincts took over as she saw Giants spikes coming out of their backs.

"EVERYONE DUCK!"

Aisha shouted as her Survival instincts took hold, she carried Piff, same goes with Tecna and Musa with their bonded pixies, Roxy flew to the Trees and moved out of the Way, Aisha asked Roxy,

"What Happened?!"

"I...I tried c-communicating with them, they sounded possessed but I didn't understand a single Word they were saying.... only... only"

Aisha blocked the Spikes aimed at them with a Morphix Shield, and flew towards it, she dodged several spikes before catching one of them and filling it up with Morphix, turning it into a Trident, she plunged it into the wooden Neck of Beast and continued asking,

"Only what?!"

"They...actually called themselves the Gloomywood Trolls!"

"WAIT WHAT?! Woah!"

The Trolls lifted Aisha up and threw her into multiple Trees.Piff threw a yellow blast of Sleepiness at it but it failed, the Troll was about to grab them but Roxy stood Infront of them and formed a small Shield, colliding with one of the Troll's Hands

"Aisha! Piff! Get away from them!"

The Other troll came and ran towards them and spot spikes at them and Roxy casted,

"Otter Shield!"

Straight up another Shield appeared in her hand and she threw it at the other Troll turning into magical Otters absorbing the Spikes and spit the spikes back at the Troll before blasting it to another part of the Forest.Roxy smiled but her main shield broke and felt Hand of the Troll grabbed her, Roxy flailed around but fiery Energy was felt as Bloom gave a big hit on Troll, causing it to drop Roxy back to the ground

"Fire Ray!"

"Roxy are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine but Bloom, these things are really the Gloomywood Trolls, I can't control them or Talk to them"

"Okay...Alright... then we gotta Hurry, I don't think we are do-WOAH WHATS GOING ON!"

The Winx and the Pixies felt the ground shook as more of the Trolls appeared out of the ground before them, Tecna exclaimed as she gets her scanner out,

"Just how many Trolls are there?! I can't get an Estimate!"

"Then We'll just have to fight our way through Pixie Village lets go!"

"I can Call Riven, Brandon and Nex to get the Pixies and Fairy Animals and bring them to Red Fountain for awhile"

"Great Idea Roxy!"

Bloom replied and complimented the Winx Flew and fought their way through to Pixie Village, Roxy gave a text to the Specialists and followed the Winx.

"I've never seen such power before, Grimoire users are quite rare these days for Witches Silena"

Headmistress Faragonda replied, she truly have never seen such power nor a Witch as strikingly goal oriented before, she can't help but feel a bit off about her, she decided to test her and replied,

"If what you casts is true then there must be utter chaos in Pixie Village and near Alfea too"

"That's Right, what of it?"

"Well I need to see this Chaos myself, Magic Eye!"

A large Magical Green orb appeared in the Room and it showed Pixie Village with the Winx fighting in it.

When Reaching the Village, they saw Trolls had destroyed the Village, most of the Buildings were destroyed the Trees around it had collapsed on top of it, making it a Crude battlefield of Splinters and..Wind?

Suddenly Magical Tornados appear and was coming towards them, the Winx jumped to action,

"Avoid the Tornados I sense a ton of Negative Energy in them"

Musa replied and they flew up but the Tornados followed up, Bloom doesn't know what to do but follow this gut instinct, it wasn't logical, it was far from that, Bloom approached the Tornados,

"Bloom what are you doing!"

"She's going into tornados!"

"Bloom no!"

Bloom didn't hear them but when she touched the Tornado, it dissipated, two words came to her mind, 'Find me'.The Tornados were gone but the damage revealed the Pixies and their hiding places as well as the Trolls that pounced the moment they came out.

"How did Blo-"

"Let's not talk about that! We have Pixies to save!"

Stella shouted and flew down there first and got the Pixies out, soon followed the Rest of the Winx, as they gathered as many pixies and Fairy Animals as they can, the Winx had their Bonded Pixies with them, and they just about to cross the Woods when a wave of Negative Energy filled the Air.

"What was that?"

Flora asked then looked behind, so did the rest of the Winx, a Giant Black hole of Sorts appeared sucking the surrounding into it.

Griffin gasped when she saw the Black hole and ordered Selina to stop, as the Amount of Negative Energy started to break hold of her spell

"That's enough Selina! You have proven your Worth and prowess in your craft but you have to put an end to this destruction now!"

Selina chuckled and smirked at her, her eyes faced face towards the Old headmistress,

"Already doing it"

"What?!"

Griffin's eyes and the other witches of the castle grew wide as she saw the Black Hole rip and tear Pixie village into nothing, the grounds, the ponds and Trees surrounding it were stripped from the Earth replaced with a piece of Forest untouched.

The Winx couldn't really describe what they saw, it was all a blur, the last screams and wailing they all heard Tecna and Musa, as well as were the Pixies Caramel and Cherie's cries as the fairies tried to pull Tune and Digit away from the black hole which had the Claws of the trolls grabbing onto them.

But they got sucked in, had it not been for Bloom's Shield, it would've been them and some of the Pixies and Fairy Animals they saved too.Once the Dust has settled, the Winx and the remaining pixies looked around,

"That Black hole....where did that Come from?"

"Girls search the area, maybe they are just hiding!"

Aisha questioned and Flora responded, they searched every nook and Cranny, nothing was the same, there were no ruins of the buildings, no pixies in sight, just a Plain, untouched Forest.

"There's no one here!"

"Bloom can you use your Dragon Flame to track the Surrounding Area?"

"Tecna you too!"

"On it!"

They focused hard, from the surrounding area to the known Realms and beyond, still nothing.

"This...is impossible, it can't be..."

"It's like the Pixies no longer exist, just like the buildings....it doesn't exist"

The Winx looked up to the Forested part that once the Pixie Village in horror, in shock.What have they gotten themselves into this time?

Griffin, the professors, and the Students look at the Selina in shock,

"May the Story of the Trolls end here"

Selina held up the Legendarium and projection of the Page came, the Horrified, the sheer terror of the Pixies faces plastered on the pages of the Trolls, they almost seemed aware they were trapped, Griffin held a Witch ball in her hands and says to her,

"What have you done?"

"I gave them an ending they can be safe until the reset starts"

"Reset?....Who are you?"

"Like I said, I'm Selina"

She tilted her head, her back facing Griffin who threw her Witch Ball at her, from the Legendarium her Black and Dark Red energy came out and sliced the magic ball with a Sword, "Watch your back Selina" The Legendarium Spoke and Selina smiled and nodded but whipping around to face Griffin and the professors, as well as the senior witches.

They attacked from all sides, Selina fights like a Summoner, Spiritual projections of the creatures of Legendarium destroyed the School Auditorium and some of the students Fled the school in response.

Lucy, one of the intern professors, threw 2 Balls of negative Energy and a beam of positive energy at Selina, Selina caught the former and formed a to block the before redirecting the blast to hit professors Zarathustra and Ediltrude with another shield, Selina covered herself with Negative Magic, quickly pulling out the Legendarium as she swiftly move across the battlefield and dropkick Lucy before a Power wave of Wind shot Lucy down and out of the Battle.

"Lucy! Don't you dare hurt my Students!"

Appearing behind Griffin was Thoren, his Halberd raised and she wasn't able to fully dodge his attack, she sustained a cut on the back,

"Urgh!"

Griffin jumped, professors Zarathustra and Ediltrude caught her and placed up a shield surrounding them,

"Headmistress Griffin!"

They shouted, Griffin knows they can't be stopped, something in her head, a tugging she can't explain,

"Zara...Edil...leave me"

"No! No! We promised that we'll stay together!"

"It's too late for me...go...go tell Faragonda....I'll meet her again"

"Stop it Griffin it's not over!"

The other end of Thoren's Halberd magically shifted into an old Rifle with branches and leaves of the Wendigo Willow Tree glowed Orange, Thoren shot at shield Full auto while running towards it, he stopped shooting as he cuts down the shield, Griffin replies while looking up at the Thoren.

"Yes...this isn't over"

Thoren's Halberd magically shifted back to normal as he hit the ground with it, blasting the professors away through the windows with Wind, they shouted for Griffin until they couldn't be heard anymore.

Thoren looked at Griffin and Griffin looked at Thoren, they whispered to each other,

"You knew?"

"Yes"

"sigh then you know what I must do"

"Get on with it"

Thoren sighed, his face distant as he brought her to Selina, the Witch smirked and didn't say anything as she absorbed Griffin to the Legendarium, her screams were everything Original about melted into the pages of the Grimoire.

"Acheron, may the School of Darkness be honoured and Remembered, Uproot it, let it's heart be yours once more"

"Thine thought and Heart has been heard...this school shall be a good Vessel until the next stage"

The School Rumbled and the heart of Cloud's Tower overtaken by an unseen force known as Acheron, Lucy watched all of this, she tried to flee as the school started Flying, lifted off the ground and into the Sky, like the relic of Old that it is and was.

Selina noticed Lucy and faced her as she gasped for air and head to the Exit she saw the skies and legs became jelly, she felt a tug from Selina,

"Go...flee...bring the Dragon Flame holder to me and I may just let you live"

"N-No!"

"Did I stutter?"

"I won't let you make me do that!"

"Hmph...it's not like you have a choice...you made this mistake one too many times in the last 5 resets"

"What are you tal-ARGH!"

Selina held her head and A green glow filled the half of her head, placing Lucy under her spell,

"I'll just control you a little bit now do your job....coward"

Selina dropped Lucy off the flying Castle, she smirked and closed the door.Only a few Witches remain, mostly they were the Freshman and one of the Seniors, Thoren looked at them in his usual distant and Battle hardened demeanor, he asked Selina,

"What do we do about them?"

Selina sat down while Thoren remained standing, Selina smiled while Thoren was neutral, she looked at the remaining Witches,who were huddling together, some ready to fight, some shaking and terrified of what is to come.Selina calmly replies,

"I have a plan"

Her genuine smile shift to a more mysterious one, Thoren calm himself, 'May this be the last time'He says internally to himself and prayed for that exactly.

Reworked Pixies, as well as HEAVILY reworked Pixie lore! A LOT of info below, both on this bunch individually and Pixies as a whole:

Pixies are beings of almost pure magic, and are born from a variety of Tree of Life, a magical tree whose flowers bloom not into a fruit, but a living being. Pixies are born as fully mature, and first they only know what their Calling is. A Pixie’s Calling is similar to a magi’s Source, but way more varied and specialized, as it includes more abstract and bizarre concepts than a Source can be. They assign their names after a few days of thinking it over, and they’re given as much time as they’re able since they cannot change it after it’s decided. Most go for something related to their Calling, but it’s not necessary. As for their size and height, they aren’t bigger than 30cm (11 or so inches) and aren’t smaller than 24cm (9 or so inches). They’re genderless, and most go by neutral or feminine pronouns, but some do take on more masculine looks, with pronouns to match.

There are three varieties of Pixie: Forest Pixie, Tundra Pixie, and Arid Pixie.

Forest Pixies are the most common variety, found all over the land. Tundra Pixies dominate cold regions, such as mountain ranges or poles, while Arid Pixies are born from a cactus-like Tree of Life and populate the desertic areas. Tundra Pixies are shorter and stockier than Forest Pixies, while Arid Pixies are physically stronger and broader. Forest Pixies are the tallest, as well as thin.

Pixies are acknowledged as members of society and some are known to work in different positions, but they’re a somewhat reclusive bunch. Most of them stay permanently at their region’s Pixie Village, but some adventure into the world.

Most of the adventurer Pixies are known to strike a “bond” with a magi they meet on travels, but it’s more akin to a legal contract - they will both help each other in their goals, but that link can be severed at any point by any reason. It can be developed as a friendship, but most of the time it’s a strictly professional interaction, usually in the role of ambassadors, merchants, mercenaries or assistants in obtaining a transformation - meeting a corresponding Pixie is a required step for obtaining Arborix, Glacix or Ignitix if one does not use the Grimoire of Transformations. As for each individual Pixie:

Lockette, Forest Pixie of Portals - As her title says, she has a perfect sense of direction, as if she was kind of a living compass. She also has the ability to create different portals and gateways to different places, as well as teleportation. Lockette is a shy and quiet Pixie, as well as easy to scare, but has an impressive amount of snark hidden in her. She gets along the best with Bloom, Aisha and Roxy.

Tune, Arid Pixie of Classical Arts - her Calling is the most esoteric; she has a perfect understanding and affinity for each culture’s oldest traditions and artwork, as well as when they are evoked in modern times - this in turn grants her a minor connection with Sound and Earth magic, as an extention of the mediums of song and sculpture. She’s very levelheaded and somewhat strict, but does try to encourage people to do their best. Gets along the best with Musa, Bloom and Flora.

Amore, Tundra Pixie of Affection - her domain is feelings, more specifically positive feelings towards another person, covering anything from friendship to familial bonds to romantic love. She’s very into flower language as well, and seems to have a link to floral magic. She likes to act as a makeshift “therapist” whenever they want to vent. She’s very caring, but can get too into everyone else’s personal drama. Gets along the best with Stella, Diaspro and Aisha.

Chatta, Forest Pixie of Comunications - her Calling covers language and messages in all their forms, but she particularly likes it vocalized, getting a special link with Sound magic in the process. She’s a very chatty and gossipy girl, having her finger on the pulse of all the happenings of Alfea after just 2 days. She lacks a filter when it comes to her opinions, but she can keep secrets like nobody’s business if she’s explicitly asked to not mention something if it’s too private. She gets along the best with Flora, Tecna and Stella.

Caramel, Arid Pixie of Sweets - her powers cover different types of candy and pastries, as well as sugar itself. Owing to her Arid genes, she’s very strong, being able to lift and hold things several times her size with no issue. She’s a sweet and charming person, but unstoppable when angered. She gets along the best with Tecna, Stella and Bloom.

Cherie, Tundra Pixie of Weather - her magic’s the most straightforward, she can control water, wind, electricity and ice via their forms as rain, clouds, etc. She has a very short temper, but is somewhat sweet if kinda selfish on a good mood, and is often compared to Stella and Diaspro. Shares a love for gossip with Chatta, and of the girls, she gets along the best with Diaspro, Aisha and Musa.

Digit, Forest Pixie of Numbers - much like Tune’s, Digit’s Calling is an odd one - she has a perfect connection and handling of any mathematical concept, which is sometimes translated as Water, Metal or Electric magic in an offensive capacity. They’re very curious and outgoing, and like to listen to other people explain stuff, as well as to analyze several objects and concepts at the same time. They get along with Tecna, Roxy and Musa the best.

Livy, Arid Pixie of Speed - his Calling is associated with movement, and is fast enough to move at almost imperceptible levels. He’s the official Pixie Messenger of Alfea, delivering any message for either Concorda or Faragonda from outside sources or from students. He’s a bit clumsy, however, and tends to crash from time to time into the most curved walls. Gets along the best with Bloom, Aisha and Tecna.

Piff, Tundra Pixie of Sleep - their Calling covers oneiric energy, having similar powers to those of an Onyrix magi, as well as being able to dispel nightmares and make people fall asleep. They sleep most of the time, and aren’t very talkative, but when they’re enthusiastic they will not. stop. bouncing and talking with others. Gets along the best with Aisha, Bloom and Roxy.

Tune and Cherie in Musa by Dessindu43
