FKDHBGKHD thank you for asking and I'm so glad you're enjoying it! (<- as if he didn't just ask to talk about it)

I've just been having Thoughts about them all day and I need to get them out

Juza died in 1986, before which he still had a reputation as the best fighter at Ouka High, forever undefeated. In terms of honest fights, he never would be beat. Instead, his life came to a sudden end when...to put it simply, someone brought a knife to a fistfight. There was no way anyone could beat the Juza Hyodo without some dirty tricks, and these delinquent kids didn't exactly think of or care about the consequences of their actions. All they knew was that they wanted to win against him, no matter how they did it.

Fast forward 10 years, and in a certain nearby school studied another problem child getting into fights just to feel something. Banri had heard of this Juza Hyodo - back when he was in elementary school, the tragic way he died made headlines. An undefeated fighter who was only won against by pulling an unfair trick? Sounded like a real challenge. Fighting all these other guys was too easy. Yeah, he got hurt, but he still won in the end. That was what mattered. And the pain from the injuries he sustained were the one thing that let him feel alive.

The thing with injuries, though, is that if you leave them untreated long enough, they'll come back to bite you. And bite him they did. Banri never made it out of high school.

When the two were brought back as zombies, Banri saw this as his chance. He could finally fight Juza Hyodo; the thing he'd always wanted to do. Juza, on the other hand, never wanted to fight anyone at all. After dying because of his reputation as a fighter, even less so. He'll do anything to avoid a fight at this point. So when Banri approaches him, he quickly knocks him down and leaves. He doesn't want this to continue. No more. Unfortunately, Banri's first loss only fuels him further. He keeps chasing after Juza, who just wants to live a peaceful second life.

I think it's gonna be really interesting to explore this version of their dynamic, where they're still rivals in a sense, including in terms of acting, but there's even more of a reason for Juza not to want to see violence again. In conclusion: I have brainrot

A3! Song Tournament

EDIT: The format of the tournament has now been decided (1 day polls, individual brackets), and round 0.5 is officially underway! However, I am still keeping this survey open in case people would like to submit their predictions and hopes for the winner. Thank you all for your interest!

A3! Act! Addict! Actors! has some really banging songs - but which one is the most bopping? The purpose of this tournament is to find that answer through a democratic process!

Usually, Tumblr tournaments have a nomination phase where you can submit your favorites, which doubles as an interest check for the poll itself. But because this tournament seeks to pit every A3! song against each other... well, there's really no need for nominations.

Instead, I've put together a short survey to see how you guys want this tournament to be run on a mechanical level. All questions are optional, so feel free to only answer the ones you care about.

I aim to have this tournament started on April 10th, although that date isn't 100% set in stone.

♡A3! Fave play character polls♡

Honestly I was curious, when it comes to our lovely actors in the troupes which character that they have played overall is people's favorite? Every role is different and brings something new to the table as well as shows diversity in the boys' acting skills. That is why I came up with this poll. Plus it's interesting to find out how people's tastes can differ.

I apologize in advance if anyone has done that before, but as far as I've seen there was nothing for fave play characters per actor.

Poll info/rules:

There will be 2 roles from a character per poll to decide which one goes further against the rest as it's easier to navigate. The roles will be shuffled and won't be going play after play in number, so there will be something to choose from (it's something similar to other polls and tournaments with brackets).

The time for each poll will be one day, so don't forget to vote for your favorite role of the two that will appear.

I thought of two categories as of now which are the favorite play character and favorite mixed play character for each actor, but if someone has any other ideas let me know, I might consider adding them as well (I also thought about making the fave mixed play character and the 'regular' fave play character to have a final match too or another option of having a fave troupe play character, for example fave spring troupe play character, and so on).

If you're not exactly caught up with every troupe or mixed play and its characters, it's okay - I, myself, am not 100% familiar with every play yet (I didn't fully catch up with all the events), so you can vote for the character by vibes, outfits etc. It's completely fine.

Any propaganda about your blorbo is welcomed, the more the merrier. Actually that can also help with getting to know the characters if some are unfamiliar/unknown to the others (like to me for example heh).

Please be kind to each other while doing any propaganda and such as everyone has different tastes which are valid. You may not like a certain character and that's okay, just don't be mean to the others that do like them.

and yeah right, this set is truly breathtaking imo, and Sakyo especially is getting the best of it. As a king (again, since he also was one during the chess cards event), and he rules at it. The make up refering to his moles, the sword ready to go down on his enemies.

Another website dubs it the suit of warnings, meaning that it warns of worries and obstacles ahead. These are the types of event the reader would need to warn the inquirer about, hopefully so that she or he could take steps to avoid or, where avoidance was not an option, minimize the effect of the impending woe.

meanwhile the King of Spade specifically represents a man with huge ambitions, with huge authority, "Man of the Law" unless reversed where it becomes "ill intentioned". It also represents a widow/er.

i'm sure if i dig even further on google i may find contradicting sources but this seems interesting to me. Difficulties and challenge as well as bad luck/bad timing seems to follow the general themes around Sakyo at the beginning of the story, and warning of worries and helping you prepare ends up filling his role when he was still menacing yet helping Mankai while actually highlighting everything that could go wrong.

The Ambition of the King of Spade can easily be linked to his own ambitions as an actor and how he doesn't intend to let the rest of his troupe outshine him, the authority showcases well his general position in the company, "Man of the Law that can be reversed as ill intentioned" makes me think of his affiliations with the Yakuza, the specific code of honor and law they have that can be considered "ill intentioned" compared to regular laws. As for widow/er this is more up to debate, from his pinning for a lost crush until he meets Izumi again, to being impacted by coming from a one-parent's household, and how his position in the yakuza was also defined by his boss' position as a widower.

And the link between spade and sword explains the sword on his art too.
