I am Taran Keir, daughter of The Cailleach.

I am unsure how old I am, though I am old enough to drive a car, and similar age-restricted things.

I have control over and can summon minor storms, and can cool down the area around me, and control ice and snow. I also am extremely resistant to the cold.

I was born in Dalwhinnie, and my father is a Fae, making me half-Fae, half-God. Due to my fae ancestry, I avoid iron, and can't lie.

I speak English, Gaeilge, Welsh, and German.

#garry's mod #gmod #source engine #half life 2 #deathmatch #remaster #hearted #i covered this map 2 years ago (to the day) in 2022! but it's so good that i wanted to give it another pass #the cozy winter atmosphere is still there and i still very much love this map #the gigantic piles of powder surrounding buses parked in the middle of the street. flanked by cars covered up to the wing mirrors in snow #there is a part of me that finds joy in the idea of being cataclysmically “snowed in” despite the logistical headaches that come with it #it's the part of me that also found joy in pandemic lockdowns that i had to downplay. in being *expected* to stay at home no matter what #i think i selfishly want more of that. which is why i still feel more excitement than annoyance in the preparation for a winter storm #it does not help that i worked customer service through the beginnings of the pandemic & never really had the experience people lamented #anyway! i'm a winter dude and i love this map a lot

dandelion is indeed the worst but if he’s not present in the next book i would legitimately be sorrowful as the whole thing will become a slog . you basically cannot have the “short stories” era-of-the-timeline iteration of geralt without dandelion, it would be like eating unbuttered bread.

though it’s not like season of storms did them dirty, i wasn’t disappointed with it (… with regards to them), but since it’s literally been over 20 years since the saga was finished i’m trying to prepare for any potential reality

i don't wanna take over the world, it sounds like a lot. but you know, laying siege to a golf course sounds really nice sometimes

We just had a winter storm from Monday to early Wednesday morning, the streets still aren't graded now a bigger storm is supposed to hit this weekend bring up to 25cm of snow which I don't mind I love snow just not ice. I just hope my city gets things in gear, or I have no clue how long I will be trapped at home for.
