    She wasn’t sure she’d ever quite get used to the sensation of that first moment of awareness in virtual -- an irony, maybe, given how much time she spent working in it, working with it, to decode and decipher and create it, though most of the things she worked with were low rez, for obvious economic reasons so far as the school was concerned.  Not a lot of point in wasting the energy and money on high-resolution simulations when half the participants were still fumbling around in the ages of the neanderthals when it came to code.  Sure, she’d spent more time than she was at all legally willing to admit cruising back channels and accessing the back doors to programs that the high quality hotels, schools, clubs and porn hubs used for their clientele but … that was irrelevant, at least in the here and now.  Well.  Mostly.  Fred took a slow breath in, leaving her eyes closed for a moment to give her senses time to catch up before she let her lashes part, honey brown eyes flickering around the set that was flickering to life around her.  She didn’t exactly know what to expect -- they hadn’t discussed details so much, and with the price offered for the encounter…. She wasn’t sure she had a lot of room to argue.  And.. in the end, whatever happened, it was -- just virtual, right?  “Professor?”  Her voice felt tinny, but given the quality of the environ, she knew that had everything to do with the butterflies that flickered in her stomach and nothing to do with the quality of the virtual projection.

That's supposed to mean something, right?" Anya: "Oh! Buck up, you." [She punches Buffy in the arm very softly.] "You kill the best." [She makes rah rah gestures.] "Go you. Kill, kill." 24: Favorite LGBT+ canon character?

Okay this is really hard. My favorite character of all time is Winifred Burkle from Angel, and while she is pretty much confirmed to be bi that really only shows up in one episode and is a very minor thing. So I think I have to pick Tara Maclay. She’s a wonderful character in general, and a really important iconic lesbian character, she and Willow had the first lesbian kiss in prime time tv.

Hmm...I have no idea how I could ever tell a girl how I feel about her. Impossible.
