Here's some fun facts about Henry in the Soldered Wires AU (in order of least to most unhinged):

1) Henry and William often spent their free nights at the local disco club. The duo worked listening to the entire discography of ABBA

2) Henry has had a curiousity with how technology works. As a result, if new technology enters the Emily household, there would be a high chance Henry would've disassembled it in an hour (Likely a sign of neurodivergency in his side of the family)

3) As a result, Henry is a savant in repuposing tech to fit his needs (for better or for worse)

4) There is a good reason why Bon's Burgers never made it past the Rocky Mountains.

5) There was one argument that has not been resolved between Henry and William:

I think Henry is abnormal abt machines in a "they are our superiors and we should worship them" way, whereas Will is abnormal abt them in a "they are superior to us so we must control their power" way, yknow?

Also i think Henry has a very complicated relationship with religion due to a very religious and oppressive upbringing and it manifests in the way he thinks about technology and engineering, topics which he would've been obsessed with regardless

I think it's so ridiculous who hates William and Henry's wives. They simply don't even appear (and there's a chance they don't even want to exist). This is so misogynistic, they are the mothers of all those children everyone loves. Can a person be so perverted in relation to a male homosexual couple that they feel threatened by the existence of these women? :(

I may really like HenryXWilliam, but I also like them with the right wives, they have no plot, no personality, we have to invent, they are only bad partners because people want them to be. 💜✨

I think there’s a ton of rumours both from like parents in Hurricane in the 70s\80s and true crime people after the murders about the nature of Henry and Bill’s relationship- the bar gossip and Facebook discourse is rancid.

It’s all speculation though the only person who’s seen them kiss is Paul and he literally dies instead of quitting his job so I doubt he’d risk being fired over telling anyone. I think he tries to bring them coffee or tell them about complaints or that the police are there and he finds them in all sorts of non-platonic scenarios. He tried bringing it up to Henry once in 87’ while they were drinking and the glare he gave him nearly disintegrated him on the spot- poor guy.

One sided double Aftschmidt where William falls deeply in love with Henry Schmidt but his feelings are never reciprocated. Henry eventually makes his own family, leaving William bitter and heartbroken. Years later, William meets Mike in his own office, feelings from years prior suddenly returning to him because the young man looks so much like his father.

RtH Henry is literally the most oblivious man in the world. He never realized that William was in love with him until Michael and Charlie basically gave him physical proof of it.

Michael: you really never knew my dad was pining for you? He literally said “I love you” whenever you left the house.

Henry: friends can love each other.

Charlie: he talked about you like you two were Juliet and Romeo. He never even talked about patty like that.

Henry: I mean he was pretty damn eccentric

Michael: you were like, the first person to ever figure out that he was bisexual. Did you never even think he might’ve been into you?

there is a layer of tragedy to it tho. Henry is asexual. William was the first friend he ever had that didn’t push him aside once he got with patty. Henry only realized years later that William was actually just in love with him. William, despite all of his pining and eventual obsession, cannot love Henry in a way that matters. He cannot just be a very close friend or platonic partner. It takes Henry a really long time to come to terms with that. He has so much difficulty accepting that he feels hurt and betrayed. He actually originally thinks that it’s internalized prejudice, which upsets him even more because he considers himself to be an ally to the queer people around him. But no he’s actually Just Asexual

Spring Bonnie and Fredbear's relationship is somewhat homoerotic, they're often depicted dancing together in posters and in the cartoon. During shows their banter can often be described as similar to a married couple which was on purpose to keep adults entertained.

A lot of people during the time (especially parents or young children) think Spring Bonnie is a girl for this very reason which the company as a whole didn't have much of a care to correct them.

If the springlock characters still remained in use during the rebranding, Fazbear Entertainment would've probably either made their relationship less close or changed Spring Bonnie to a girl (which William Afton, the original creator of the character, was highly against.)
