Simon – aka Wille's boyfriend - will laugh his ass off at the absurdity of it all, but then he spends the rest of the party holding an inconsolable Wille as the blonde keeps showing him cute pics of him and his boyfriends and sobbing a "look at him, he's so pretty, you can't kiss me anymore I can't hurt him"

Cue Simon promising a drunk Wille that he will not kiss him so that he won't be cheating anymore. Wille will hug him so tight then, saying "you're wonderful, Simon, I would love be with you in another life" and passing out not too long after

Next morning, Wille vividly remembers kissing someone at the party and he nearly has a panic attack over it before Simon barges into his room to tell him the most hilarious thing that he did last night (and then getting all the kisses Wille denied him last night)

autistic wille hc where he gets overstimulated when he sleeps in hoodies because the hood is too thick and its touching his neck in the wrong way and the sleeves don't stay over his wrists and it gets bunched up too easily --- but he's always cold. so when he can't wear a sweatshirt, simon wraps him up like a freaking burrito in his arms and the blanket and they js hold each other and simon brings him the warmth he needed.

Outside the window, rain splattered against thick, bare tree branches and the brick siding of the house, sending a dull pattering throughout the walls. Wille rolled over and burrowed deeper under the quilted comforter and pulled his knees up to his chest, trying fruitlessly to concentrate his body heat to stay warm.

They rarely kept the temperature in the house above 18 degrees in the winter to keep the cost of the monthly bills down, and normally it wasn't a problem. Normally, Simon drank spruce tea in bed as he wrote with the orange glow of the lamp on before he lay in beside Wille and curled up close to him, tugging him in to his own body by the hips and nestling his nose into the nape of Wille's neck. Normally, Simon kept his body close and left his hands pressed all over Wille. He kept Wille warm.

But this last week, Simon had been in New York working with one of the artists he was producing for, and so Wille had gone to bed alone each night. He tried to make spruce tea to warm his fingers and to make the room smell like Simon, but he didn't like the taste and it wasn't really the same anyway, so he'd given up after the third night. He'd bundled himself in a hoodie and huddled into bed and tried not to think about how much larger the bed was without Simon in it.

Needless to say, he hadn't been getting much sleep.

Wille shifted restlessly in bed. The collar of his hoodie was too thick, felt too tight. He grasped at it and tried to pull it away from his skin, but the effort was fruitless. Wille groaned and tried to bury his head in his pillow to drown out the sensation of the too bulky sweatshirt on his body.

Unwanted tears pressed behind Wille's eyelids. He missed Simon, and he hated being cold, and he didn't understand why he couldn't fucking handle a hoodie of all things.

His fingers ached with cold, but when he tried to pull his sleeves down over his hands, the fabric ended up getting twisted around his wrists which sent him into another bout of frustrated groaning and a few loose tears. Wille ripped the hoodie off over his head and threw it across the room, his skin itching from the feel of the fabric.

He sighed and resigned himself to another cold, sleepless night.

He'd just fallen into an uneasy doze when he heard a light scratching at the apartment door. Wille's eyes flicked open, and he lay still for a breathless moment before he heard a distinctive jingling of keys and the lock turning through the door.

It wasn't until the bedroom door creaked open and Simon slid through, carefully closing the door behind him and tiptoeing across the hardwood floor, that Wille let himself believe that his fiancé was home.

He sat up, shivering as the covers fell down his body, and blinked blearily in the darkness.

"Simon?" he croaked out.

Simon's head snapped up, and his shoulders relaxed as he realized Wille was awake.

"Hi, honey," he whispered, kicking off his shoes and sitting on the edge of the bed. He reached out a hand, and Wille crawled to him immediately, wrapping himself around Simon's warm, warm back and hugging him close.

"What are you doing up?" Simon murmured, leaning back into Wille and smoothing his hands over Wille's where they rested over his stomach.

Wille hummed and said, "Couldn't sleep. Too cold."

Simon slowly unravelled himself from Wille and stood, pulling off his clothes quickly before rejoining Wille on the bed in just his boxers. He clambered into Wille's lap and smoothed his hands back through his hair. His skin was so warm, and Wille couldn't help himself from grabbing Simon and holding him as tight as he could, trying to soak in all the heat and the familiar Simon smell from his skin.

"Missed you," Wille said into Simon's neck.

"I missed you too," Simon said, pressing his smile into the side of Wille's head. "Sleep now?"

Wille nodded and laid back down, taking Simon with him and immediately curling up into his side. Simon laid his palms flat over Wille's ribs and firmly rolled him over to face the other way. Wille let out a small noise of displeasure, but it was quickly soothed away when Simon pressed himself close against Wille's back and twined his arm around his body, hauling him in and holding him tight and dear.

Wille exhaled slowly and let himself seep back into Simon's body, finally warm.

i agree with you about being frustrated with how often this fandom has top/bottom discussions but its a pretty common talking point in most fandoms so YR isn’t special for that

No I totally agree with you that it’s a common topic of discussion in a lot of fandoms, but there’s a particular way we have it in this fandom that really grinds my gears.

And don’t get me wrong, I don’t care if you hc Wilmon to be vers or if you think Wille tops or Simon tops or whatever - it’s the justification and reasoning that I’m seeing behind these headcanons that I find deeply irritating and, frankly, insulting and kind of homophobic.

This is going to get long so forgive me.

1. I’ve seen so many posts talk about how the show is “brave” and “subversive” by having Wille go down on Simon or potentially bottom, but like - what the hell are we even talking about? In what world is it subversive to show a queer character having queer sex?? What are we subverting?? This show has never shown us anything with its intimate scenes other than two guys that are deeply in love and really horny for eachother and I hate that we keep bringing this shit up!!!

2. I’ve also seen people say that it was very important for us to see Wille moving to go down on Simon in the tape in S1 because it’s “more damning evidence that he’s queer” and otherwise Wille could’ve just said he was horny and desperate but he was actually imagining he was with a girl in his denial statement. But be so fucking forreal, in what world is that a thing he could argue in an official statement to the press? He’d be the laughing stock of the world.

Wilhelm isn’t more or less gay because he went down on Simon vs the other way around. He’d still be having queer sex because he’s having sex with another guy. Arguing that the framing here is for anything other than a plot device so Wille’s face wouldn’t be visible to set up the denial is actually kind of ridiculous.

As someone very smart on here said, “I’m sorry that you apparently have a tier list of sex acts ranging from “kinda straight” to “Gaylord” 😭😭 get well soon, couldn’t be me.”

Imagine for one second Simon was the one giving Wille head? Would you have criticized the show for that?? And WHY?!

3. Next: saying that Wilmon’s relationship is “equal” because you think they’re vers is…a take and a half lmao. What the fuck does being vers have to do with a relationship being equal?? Why are we assigning arbitrary hierarchies to sexual preferences??? Why are we implying that topping and bottoming are somehow not equal and you have to carefully balance both, when, ideally, it’s just whatever the fuck everyone is into???

Wille isn’t selfish for topping. Simon isn’t sacrificing anything by bottoming. They’re fucking because they’re in love and they want to 😭

TLDR: Wille doesn’t suck Simon’s dick for class liberation. Simon riding Wille isn’t a commentary on how he’s “girl-coded.” It’s just sex, leave them alone to have a good time and stop assigning agendas to queer sex.

Hello!! I am absolutely loving your post-s2 exploration it is so delightful and real and I am just loving it!! One HC I have had for ages that I just don’t see enough of is that realistically Wille probably would be fluent in multiple languages…. A working knowledge minimum of Spanish is highly likely for most European royals and I just think that would be so interesting to explore!!! Like the class differences between speaking multiple languages is so major (and maybe this HC is just completely self service as someone who was always made fun of for speaking a different language at home and thus I’m projecting onto Simon) and anyway just something I have been thinking about extra prompted from your writing …… love you work so much!!

thank you for you lovely words! I am delighted to tell you that Wille speaking some Spanish was not just a throwaway comment at the beginning of the fic.

I, too, am very sure that Wille speaks more than just Swedish and the compulsory English he has to learn in school.

For one I like the idea that Ludvig is not Swedish by birth, but foreign nobility (which considering Kristina's generation makes a lot of sense despite her having children quite late), and that because of that Erik and Wilhelm were raised bilingual just like the irl children of the Swedish King were. I haven't decided which yet--Danish, German or Norwegian seem like lazy options but they kinda make the most sense--but yes. Bilingual Wille ftw. Additionally I think it's a given that most (continental) European nobility speaks French and German either fluently or well enough depending. BeNeLux, MC and FL obviously, but also the rest.

I'm not sure I'd say a working knowledge of Spanish is highly likely for most European royals (or Europeans in general, Spanish being offered as a third language has only become a thing in maybe the last decade or two in most European countries I'm familiar with), but it's also not unlikely, and Wille speaking Spanish (and potentially more but so far I only have concrete plans for Spanish) will definitely be explored in future chapters, because just like you I love the idea.

Especially because the Spanish Wille learned differs drastically from the one Simon speaks at home, and not just when it comes to pronunciation, and as a linguist by trade (although admittedly the only Romance language I speak is, like, six years of school French which doesn't count) I find that intiguing and delightful, and it'll make for hilarious moments (spoiler) during Easter and the Summer holidays (because Wilmon only going to Solliden is boring).

3x01 walter isn't in this episode at all </3 henry is there to witness wilmon returning to school tho which is gold. he also hangs out with stedrika <3

3x02 no walter in this scene, but i adore any and all screentime either of them get even without the other. it's confirmed in this episode that the other first years also were put through an initiation like wille's, but thankfully the undressing and gay porn was left out that entire year, not just for wille.

walter is still missing when the students are told their camping trip/overnight stay in the woods is not cancelled. (i'm gonna hc he was sick during this to explain his complete absence)

WALTER <3 he comes along for the camping trip. him and henry are seen walking together through the woods to their campsite, "swordfighting" with sticks they picked up off the ground (they're so silly i love them)

"groups of 3 in each tent, boys with boys and girls with girls" starts a LOT of chatter amongst the students. henry specifically points out the heteronormativity in this arrangement. "so if you're gay you can sleep in the same tent, but not if you're straight ?" walter then teases him abt not having a girlfriend and questions why it upset him which makes henry defensive LMAO

they don't show the tent groups aside from stedrika+madison and wilmon+felice, but given how much henry was seen with alexander while walter was absent, i feel it's safe to assume those three shared.

when eating hot dogs at the bonfire, walter and wille share a bench(/log) while simon and henry share another. PARALLEL ?? (i'm delulu)

during the "rave" in the woods, lots of quick cuts and limiting angles make it hard to spot exactly where henry and walter are placed relative to eachother, but we can see stedrika in the same shots a few times, and any shot showing henry or walter individually also show stella or fredrika, so they're pretty close on the makeshift dance floor (forest floor lol)

wilmon, the girls, ayub, rosh and walty all gather in a sitting circle after the party dies down. walter and henry are sitting very close (i genuinely did a double take cause it looked like henry was sitting in walter's lap bro)

small detail but i live off of CRUMBS: that first shot of walty in their little chatting circle has them in sync shift their gazes during the tense convo between the hillerska girls and rosh AHHHH

after ayub and rosh are told to leave by the teacher, fredrika and henry start talking abt how awkward the interaction was. (i'm adding this cause i think it's note worthy you cannot hear walter engage in this. henry seems a lot more ignorant than walter is, and maybe they had a similar talk to wilmon's in the tent afterward ??) ((i'm fully writing fic ideas in my notes now..))

3x03 we can see henry at breakfast and in class. i can't see walter, but the people sitting beside henry in both these scenes are obstructed by other charaters, so i'm just gonna pretend they're sitting together.

at lunch/dinner (i can't tell), henry sits next to vincent at first (everyone disliked that) but when vincent gets up and leaves, walter immediately takes the seat next to henry (everyone cheered !) and take part in the conversation henry is having at (not with tbh) wilmon.

turns out neither of them know shit abt may 1st ! maybe my theory abt walter being less ignorant than henry was completely wrong rip </3

after vincent (STFU VINCENT) tries to stir shit between wilmon again, henry (i think it was him.. could've been walter honestly) tried to cut the tension by just repeating how nice it is to have the day off may 1st. (he's doing his best) ((not rlly))

at the start of the valborg celebrations during the choir's performance, walter and henry stand next to echother (right behind stedrika <3)

walter is again absent in the common room when husfar announces phone hour. henry takes longer than necessary to get his phone, wille impatiently tells him to hurry up. conclusion: he was also getting walter's phone. (i'm delulu and writing fic ideas in my notes again)

3x04 i can't believe this is their first interaction this episode... but here goes: while their swedish teacher is handing out their letters for their future selves, henry jokes that walter wants to lose his virginity. walter tells him to shut up and the teacher lightly scolds him (henry).

they're walking together outside, chatting, when a third year (i assume) approaches them and tells them to gather in the great hall for the demonstration. henry must've really loved this demonstration idea as he's seen running around spreading the news and telling fellow first years to gather in the great hall.

walking into the great hall, walter and henry are side by side again. i assume walter was running around spreading the news like henry was. they're chatting with eachother until august gets everyone's attention on vincent's behalf.

when vincent explains why they've gathered the students in the hall, henry laughs and turns to look at walter, who briefly look at him with a confused expression before they both turn to wille. walter mouths/says something to wille but i have no idea what.

after wilmon's disagreement over the demonstration/sitting strike, walter and henry both look up at wille expectantly (so is the whole room tbh). wille eventually sits down with them in the doorway.

THEY SHARE A BOTTLE. (i'm going insane). walty, still seated in the doorway with wille, pass a water bottle between them. when walter passes it back to henry after a sip, wille and henry are laughing at something and looking at walter. but the way he passes it back. he places it so close it's pretty much touching henry, and if you don't spot the water bottle it looks like walter just reached across the doorway to touch henry's leg ?? (ik that's not what was happening but i had to do a double-take)

not walty but noting for myelf: the temporary principal stand-in cancels dinner, closes down the school cafeteria and locks their sleeping quarters. that is insane

by the time the sun (and hunger) sets (in), walter, henry and wille have all relocated to further into the great hall. walty are sitting even closer than they were in the doorway. like- touching close. henry tries to bribe simon for a lollipop; going as high as 300 SEK. walty both agree they wouldn't have participated if they knew it'd turn into a hunger strike.

CRYING. once again not walty but fucking hilarious to me. stella and fredrika are running some sort of auction with the snacks they've managed to gather. henry pays 2400 SEK for a bag of chips ($230)

as much as i'd love to say walter and henry cuddled through the night in the great hall, the reality is much less romantic but a lot more hilarious. we see henry sleeping in a chair with his chip bag hugged to his chest LMAO. i cannot for the life of me spot where exactly walter is sleeping, i assume on the floor somewhere around henry's chair (not just cause i'm delulu, it's obscured from all the shots from the scene in the morning post-strike, so very plausible that's where he is)

3x05 right after wille's visit to the Palace, it cuts to class where walter and henry are holding a presentation.

the first years get instructions on how to properly serve at the third years' feast (i see walter, can't spot henry, but i know he's there cause ALL first years serve at the feast).

walter and henry are both setting the tables ready for the third years' feast, walter placing glasses on the tables and henry moving flower pots (and briefly scolded by an older male teacher for doing it wrong it looks like ? LMAO). proably a good idea keeping those two mostly out of the kitchen tbf.

when the feast starts, walter and henry are serving food at adjecent tables.

when august gets on his chair to chug a glass of wine, henry and walter are looking on in amusement right outside the kitchen, wine bottles in hand. henry looks at walter when he laughs, and walter glances back <3

3x06 MY BELOVED they're playing sand volleyball with other students in the very beginning of the episode (opposite teams)

during swedish class, their teacher is reading poetry to them outside on the grass. walter and henry are sitting (if you can even call it that) across from each other in their little gathering circle. the class is interrupted by the temporary principal stand-in, and news that the school is being shut down spreads like wildfire

during vincent's freakout (pre-august breakdown) and the girls accusing felice, walter is seen in the background at the end of the table with alexander. can't spot henry anywhere. when it gets heated, even walter starts yelling at other students, cue august shutting them up. (fuck you august but thanks). while the students start comforting each other, walter has his hand on alexander's back <3 (i love that their friendship seems genuine this season compared to seasons 1 and 2)

the scene immediately after the initial collective freakout, both henry and walter is on their phones in the hallway. walter is pacing back and forth. (assume they're talking with their parents abt where to attend school next year)

henry interrupts wilmon's conversation in the library to ask them what they're wearing at the white-out party. saying he emptied his entire wardrobe and the closest thing he found to a white shirt was a gray tee (relatable). "this was the only white thing i could find and it's gray" so it's.. not white. (you sure you didn't find yourself in there henry ??) ((get it ?? cause it's his closet ?? sorry.)) henry does a little speech about how important it is to attend the party (i love that kid sm)

walter, henry and alexander roll up to the white-out party together. clearly been pre-gaming, they're all adorned with some haphazardly applied neon makeup (sharpie ?) on their face. henry has a white shirt ! (100% borrowed it from walter cause i said so). it honestly looks like alexander and henry are helping walter walk with how he's hanging off their shoulders lol. they part slightly to literally RUN toward the Palace they're so adorable.

walter and henry dancing (in proper scandinavian party fashion, they are jumping up and down) with their arms around each other's shoulders AHHH

after sara and felice reconnect where they first became friends, some background actors are heard talking about how henry was laying on the ground and throwing up (i dont think it's even that far into the night ?? please slow down my guy)

few minutes later, henry is standing upright (barely) trying to keep his balance right by wille. walter is keeping an eye on him, but seated. when simon approaches, walter is trying to get henry to agree to leave the party. henry is like,, straight up whining asking "why ?" and saying "i wanna sit here". he's reached the toddler stage of drunk T-T henry walks away with walter on his tail and alexander following behind them.

immediately following the scene of stedrika, it cuts to henry sleeping in the grass somewhere on the hillerska grounds. walter lifts him up. henry literal dirt on his face and looks confused as hell. walter is laughing at him.

[NOW. i have SO MUCH TO SAY about this. i know damn well walter wouldn't just leave henry outside overnight and go home by himself. i REFUSE to believe he would ever do that. this scene means, without a doubt in my mind, that they both slept outside in the grass that night. at some point between henry walking off followed by alexander and walter, they must've parted ways with alexander and walter must've gotten even drunker before they both ended up outside in the grass. drunker cause if walter wasn't he would've gotten them back to their dorm(s).]

they sit next to eachother during the third years' diploma ceremony. henry looks over and smiles at walter when the choir sings simon's version of the hillerska anthem. (do you hear me SCREAMING)

[HI WELCOME BACK TO ME SCREAMING]. when they walk out after the ceremony to greet their parents, at the stairs, henry and walter are.. touching ? i've tried to piece together what exactly is going on and it seems to me that they've just hugged and walter is slipping out of henry's hold to run down to his parents. henry keeps his arm on walter's back until he's literally out of reach.

walter is for the first time across every season spotted with an adult. his parents came ! YAY ! walter and henry are both stood with a group of (at least three) adults i assume are their parents. putting the worries abt them being step-brothers to rest <3.

walter + henry "masterpost" (canon)

season 1

1x01 they sit together at dinner(?). before wille grabs their attention, they seem deep in conversation and HENRY GLANCES AT WALTER’S LIPS (im delulu ..but not really). this is their first canon interaction. i cannot make this shit up. i’m losing my mind. they sit together in class. they stick close (walter is fucking leaning on henry) at the very first party (after wille’s initiation). they’re both drinking. walter is spotted without henry for like a literal millisecond (idk where his mans went). walter and henry hang with stella and felice (at least until felice runs off to throw up lol) when wille is like,, crowdsurfing (using that term loosely) walter is not with henry mans lost him where is he.. (probably throwing up somewhere idk)

1x02 simon sits between them at lunch.

they sit together in class (on monday? the party was friday.. i assume)

math tests are handed out. they sit close and show their grades to eachother. (comparing results maybe ?)

wille mentions they take private lessons.. together ? over the weekend ? bro i cant defend them. (not that i want to)

henry joins rowing practice. they’re wearing MATCHING SHIRTS. i cannot make this shit up.

they’re both attending rowing practice still when august.. kisses simon (LMAO)

they debatably sit together at the movie night. they’re social distancing for some reason but no one is between them. henry looks over at walter (i’m delulu, he was probably looking at august) after The Jumpscare

1x03 the week after the horror movie (exact day unknown) henry sits with wille in class, but walter is in the seat literally next to him just,, with a space lol

(same week) they work out on the SAME GODDAMN MAT in p.e (either that or their mats are placed so close they don’t show a space.. idk which is gayer tbh)

they stick together during the parents day, but sit in different rows in church (..for some reason?)

after church neither of them are spotted interacting with any adult or even eachother in the background. they went ~poof~

i think you see walter entering his dorm? but it could be a different background actor honestly i don't know

for breakfast the day after: henry mentions to walter that his dad recognized his surname.

“no, i know” “how long have you known?” “i know because my… my dad recognized your surname”

this convo confirms to me that they didn’t know eachother before hillerska.

note: the convo was very light-hearted and henry was smiling (this has lead to theories about their parents having dated in the past, i also heard that uno, walter's actor, confirmed this but i haven't seen this for myself so i'm not sure)

1x04 they sit together while watching erik’s funeral on TV the Society "meeting". henry is never technically explicitly shown to drink or take pills but he seems inebriated and picks up a pack of pills from the table so i'm gonna assume he did both (so much fanfic potential i'm clawing at the walls)

1x05 they’re not sitting together in class, both having 2 desks by themselves until wille joins henry. walter is in the seat directly behind him. (side note: henry is wearing the same goddamn sweater he was at the Society meeting. was it washed or does he just stink of booze in class ? LMAO)

plot explained why they aren’t sitting together !! walter was meant to do a presentation with alexander and therefore left the seat for him.

they sit together again in class. this would be the week after the class they didn’t.

henry attends another Society “emergency meeting” (alexander was caught with the drugs) (this isn't walty but idc)

henry looks stressed/conflicted after the 2nd Society emergency meeting, but walks out with wille. (probably hard for him cause he can tell something’s going on between wille and simon, but pinning it on alexander is also a shitty thing to do)

they(walty) stand together outside before the whole lucia thing starts.

walter is fiddling with something with his left hand. it doesn’t show up in the shot, but henry is right there on his left. (they were obviously having a thumb war /j)

they’re both talking with wille after the lucia thing, but they’re so caught up in their conversations they don’t even bat an eye when wille’s whole life falls apart (it's not funny but it's really fucking funny)

1x06 at breakfast sometime after the video got out. henry and walter are talking abt how wilmon sat together at the movie night and that they talked abt it after.

h “remember the movie night?” w “yeah” h “when they sat next to eachother” w “exactly!” h “we talked abt that” w “yeah we talked abt that!”

Wille and Simon treasure their Saturdays together. They try and stay with each other as often as possible, usually staying at the dorms to get more privacy. Lounging around watching shows, reading together, but Wille’s favourite is when Simon brings his guitar or keyboard and plays little jingles he made up, or snippets of songs he’s working on. Sometimes they’re sweet and soulful, but often times they’re silly and just Simon trying to make Wille giggle and smile

What I think Simon likes about Wille

I have seen some discussions about “why Simon even like Wille” (😔☹️💔) both here and elsewhere. I'm bored sooooo here is my list of what I think! I admit when I first watched I used to wonder sometimes why Simon liked him, mostly bc the back and forth hot and cold of season 1 could understandably be exhausting however once i thought about it I came up with many things. (some are hc ish ) :) I also think that if you love wilmon's relationship then you can see what they see in eachother. Two people (Wilmon) created that dynamic together both of them are loving/open/gentle with each other it is deeper than " i like that he sings and he is pretty"- they like how the other person makes them feel which is different I think than what is usually portrayed in teen relationships. People focus too much on their fights/angst sometimes and not their nice moments I think the good outweighs the bad. Also why i believe in endgame bc they have something deep and special.

1. I think Simon thinks Wille is adorable in a dorky way or finds him endearing. When Wille dropped the utensil after their first real convo Simon was blushing and giggling

2. Wille actively seeks him out a lot and tries to help Simon when he can/ When someone is giving you that kind of attention it is flattering and shows how kind Wille is (the tip about tutoring, the rowing tips, the song on the piano). Thats a quality someone would find attractive

3. Similarly when they are together Wille’s attention and energy is solely focused on him / Wille smiling at him adoringly all the time. I think that would make anyone feel special and especially if you are like Simon and spend a lot of energy caring for/thinking about other people

4. Wille is generally very gentle with Simon which is beautiful and also imagine someone being that gentle with u and holding u like that im sure u would fall in love too lmfao even tho simon is asleep I think he felt it and this isnt the only example I just like the picture hehe

5. Wille wears his heart on his sleeve. Simon is more guarded with his feelings i think he could drawn to how open/expressive/ softhearted Wille is with him. “I didn't want to lose you” “you are beautiful” etc

6. Wille makes him sandwiches asks him how he is doing a lot etc sorry but no boys were making me sandwiches as a teenager a lot of small things like this are still a big deal

7. Wille is a prince and he could be a total arrogant a** hole like everyone else at that school and no one would think twice but he is not. It takes a certain type of person to actively not be like that when u are born into that level of privilege and everyone will let you get away with whatever. I think Simon likes that Wille is different than than the other people at school who ignore him and treat him bad.

8. Simon feels safe around Wille (maybe with the exception of the music room scene) but they have a safe space together its a strong contrast to the dynamic with marcus and i think everything with marcus serves to highlight how special the dynamic is with Wille.

9. Wille gives good hugs

10. Wille is nice to Linda and tries to make her feel included Simon thought that was cute (it was very cute)

11. They can laugh together and see how silly (ridiculous) august/some of the antics of the other boys are

12. I could go on okay but love is not always rational and cant be contained in a list, they are soulmates and thats that!!!!!!!!!

//Adding that i think Omar said in an interview that despite what Simon says in the locker room he thinks Simon likes that Wille accepts him for who he is. But if anyone can find the clip pls share I dont wanna misquote him! //

Like, he obviously knew that this was Wille, his friend and crush

And even though he wasn't thinking it, Simon knew that Wille was still a prince, second in line to the throne, probably straight and might not be attracted to Simon that way

I takes a lot of fucking guts to kiss someone (even more so if that someone is the same gender as you and you don't know if your feelings are reciprocated) AND if that someone is... Not fucking royalty (and/or famous)

Can't believe that the pinky holding gave him the courage to go for it hehe
