here's my progress of crawdad quarter so far:

to the left is the local cafe with a makeshift little bookstore attached. to the right is the neighborhood bar where your sims can sing karaoke or compete in some intense juice pong & horseshoe tournaments haha

my vision for willow creek is to be a small but up & coming town. I want fun little hangout spots everywhere that have a real homey feel to them. hopefully that's the vibe that comes across in this save file :)

it took me soooo long to execute all the ideas i had. i would open my game, go to these lots & just stare at the screen. for WEEKS. l was driving myself crazy lol. & then hallelujah, inspiration had struck! i took advantage & started working on two builds at once & honestly about to start a third! haha wish me luck :)

All the Sims that reside in each world were used with CAS items that correspond with the packs used in building the worlds.

The game will still function even if you don't have the packs that go with all those worlds! You might find some half-naked Sims in the tray, but you can just delete them as they belong to a different world and won't affect the stories in the worlds you do have.

Brindleton Bay was built with small-town Connecticut in mind and Del Sol Valley was (of course!) based on Los Angeles. So Brindleton Bay has a lot of colonial/coastal architecture and features a blend of rustic seaside-type venues and places that exude wealth. Del Sol Valley has things that just scream LA to me like a music venue, karaoke bar (set as a bar and is nonfunctional as a karaoke bar, but if you have City Living, you can make the switch with a few changes), taco joint, some mid century vibes, some maybe-ugly-but-kind-of-cool architecture, and a reference to the Chateau Marmont. Each world has a handful of new families and I also left some extra lots empty because, one, the save is already quite full of Sims, two, Get Famous requires a ton of NPCs that took a lot of time and effort getting makeovers, and, three, I wanted to give you all more varied places to move your own Sims into, which I did not do much of in the other worlds! I will probably leave a lot of vacant lots in future saves too to provide this option to you.

*Quick disclaimer that I did my best to play test all the lots, but I am just one person and probably missed some things, so please let me know if you find anything that isn't working or seems wrong so I can update the save!*

Brindleton Bay

Brindleton Bay is a cozy coastal town that is paradise to pet lovers, nature lovers, and anyone who enjoys the salty smell of the ocean, crunchy autumn leaves, and a good brisk breeze! The town has been well-kept and neatly refurbished over the centuries since its founding. Today, it boasts a beautiful blend between the charming traditional Brindleton Bay architecture and modern comforts that greatly appeals to its devoted citizens.

Del Sol Valley

Is anyone actually from Del Sol Valley, or is everyone here a transplant? It certainly seems that way sometimes, as so many of the residents moved to DSV with dreams of making it big in the entertainment industry. Yet, no matter how long they have lived here, each citizen has a strong sense of DSV pride. Residents love the city for its bustling creativity, boldness, and vivacity. The city is alive at all times of day and the citizens' hope of achieving their dreams never dies.

so, i've been working on a save file since march of this year and while i'm not even close to being done i still wanted to put just a little taste of it out into the world! so here is version 1 of my save file!

i've decided to just put out willow creek and magnolia promenade in this version and wait for the new pack the sims 4 for rent to put out oasis springs and newcrest simply bc i have "fake" apartments in them and thought it'd be best to wait for the new EP so that then they will be real apartments! :)

here you'll find 39 new townies (not including pets!) 25 new lots which includes 10 households, 10 community lots and 5 empty houses! willow creeks park got a BIG renovation! it now has blooming flowers and a nice wedding spot! underneath it you'll find everything you need for a wedding party!

for the community you'll find a gym, nightclub, library and a mall with little park area. all the empty homes are literally empty for more realism but there are 2 cute furnished starter homes aswell :)

in magnolia promenade you'll find a lovely bakery owned by the little family in wc. a cafe, a restaurant (owned by a family coming soon!) and a karaoke bar which is also a bowling alley (named after my bestie who loves a good bowling alley)

DISCLAIMER MY SAVE USES MOST IF NOT ALL PACKS i apologize for this but i didn't wanna limit myself while making this. i do one day want to make a base game save aswell

how to install: open your downloads folder unzip my save then go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves and plop the save file right in! remember to back up your saves just incase. when you open your game you should see a save like this!

then all you need to do is enjoy a new fresh willow creek and magnolia promenade :)

sims 4 worlds i edited for my personal save file. pretty much all of them are gallery builds which i slightly edited to make up for any missing packs.

willow creek is already meant to be new orleans, but i wanted it to be more strongly new orleans, so i picked builds of that nature. i used a lot of paranormal stuff pack in both the furniture and the CAS of the premades. speaking of premades, i deleted and replaced all of them. might show that in another post.

oasis springs got a much more drastic change. it's now morocco. i love the courtyard oasis kit and i do not love the aesthetic of vanilla oasis springs. so, it's morocco now. i also deleted and replaced the premades here.

san myshuno, canonically, is based on a myriad of different cities, from nyc to shanghai. but i wanted it to be tokyo, so it's tokyo for me. i tried to place down japanese lots that would also fit the urban setting. i would say about half the families were deleted and replaced, but many were kept.

forgotten hollow. most people seem to think it's in the pacfic northwest of the united states, but for me it's in germany, because of the gothic architecture. the vatores were deleted because i prefer playing them in the sims 3. vlad stayed though because he's too iconic. and the world was filled up with vampires. i need to add some more humans to be food for the vamps, but that's a problem for another day. the cemetary actually has underground crypts as residential rentals, it's fun.

and mt komorebi, the most important world in this save, remains hokkaido. i made sure it had a spa, gym, and karaoke bar, and i built the park with cc. the white cottage is a ghibli store, which is awesome, and a good place for the kids, i think. there's also a grocery store, even though cottage living is not installed, and i hope that i'll still be able to force the family to go shopping before they can eat. i kept all the premades in this world.

the other worlds in this save are newcrest, magnolia promenade, strangerville, san sequoia, and tomarang. i didn't touch any of them yet, except for one house in newcrest.

for newcrest, i heard you can do scenarios in your preexisting saves, so i think i want to do that and fill up newcrest that way. it sounds fun and like a nice way to have a break from my main family whenever i want one.

magnolia promenade, maybe the family ever goes to willow creek i'll fix it up, but for now, i don't care. same with strangerville, san sequoia, and tomarang.

i'm playing with the home regions mod, so these worlds will not overlap. willow creek, newcrest and magnolia promenade are connected (NOLA). san myshuno and mt komorebi are connected (japan). but that's it, the rest of the worlds are all far away from each other (in my headcanon).

Dina was thrilled when she noticed Cassandra arriving at the bowling alley. She really didn't think that she would come, or that Mortimer would deliver the message. Regardless, she felt like everything was falling into place. It was even more interesting when she showed up with none other than Malcolm Landgraab - just as Dina had hoped.

"So, Cassie.", Dina whispered as they sat outside on the patio. "Are you and Malcolm a thing?". she asked titling her head to the side.

She could feel Luna's elbow in her side as soon as the question left her lips, but she ignored her best friend to focus all of her attention on Cassandra.

"It's...complicated.", Cassie said quietly, her eyes narrowing as she stared Dina down. "And it's really none of your business."

"Oh, come on! Don't you want to talk about it? It just seems a little strange that you'd transfer to Oasis Springs a month before senior year is over. Why not finish out the year at Willow Creek? Unless....there was a reason why you couldn't."

Luna cleared her throat, which forced Dina to look over at her.

"Cassie, you really don't have to answer her. Dina can be a little....abrasive. It's not the most attractive personality trait, but I promise she means well.", Luna said, chuckling under her breath as she got a glare from Dina. "Did you move to Oasis Springs, or are you commuting like I am?"

"I have an apartment.", Cassie said, her fingertips digging into her jeans. "I'm staying beside you, actually, Dina. I...saw you come home the other night and realized that we're right next door to each other."

This information made Dina feel excited. If Cassie lived next door to her, and her suspicions about her being involved with Malcolm Landgraab were correct, it was possible that he would end up visiting her. It would give her another excuse to try and get to know Malcolm.

"I wish you had told me sooner! I would love to see your place. We should plan a girls night. You, me, and Luna.", Dina said, as she noticed Lilith and Angela Pleasant motioning with their hands for them to come inside with the rest of their friends.

"Cassie, do you like to sing?", Dina asked as she stood up, holding out her hand to her new found friend. "This bowling alley doubles as a karaoke bar! It's awesome. We're going to have so much fun."

Before Cassandra could even answer her, Dina pulled her inside, making her way to the bar to put her name on the list with Cassie.

This is a 2nd edition to the famous Not So Berry Challenge created by LilSimsie & AlwaysSimming. I will be including more recent additions to the game and updated gameplay. The order of the generations will also be in a more “Rainbow Order” friendly set up.

Part of you always wondered if these colorful plants held magical powers, or if that was just something your imagination wanted you to believe. . . .

I HAVE SLAYED THE PRINCESS! Again! And again and again and- well, basically, I’m done delving the depths of the Pristine Cut. Now I can get back to Simming!

Right. Still need to obtain a death flower! ...no orchids this time. Dang.Anyway, I’m going to play a week of this game before cheating in a Death Flower. Right, needs set and this day we’re going to work-from-home with Bella. Goals are to- make friends in the Fashion District. OH BOY. Right now, the festivals in City Living are broken and are overlapping with each other. Still, I guess if I stick to the karaoke bar, we can make friends there.

Other goal is to discuss Nieighborhood Changes with 2 Neighbors. I don’t even think we have two adult neighbors! I think we only have a single dad next door. Welp. Thinks to think about later. To the fashion district! Mm! No overlapping festivals here! Not going to risk it though. Will only linger so long! Oh hey! Majorie De La Cruz is here! I did make the karaoke lot an Up-And-Coming famous person lot so yeah, she would drop in. Time to re-befriend! And collect a donation while at it.

Yep! There is only one adult neighbor in Willow Creek! One single father of three daughters. Lorenzo McConnell, a vegetarian, snob, and active fellow. One cheerful introduction and we’re nearly good friends already. ...oh geez. I remembered he was a chef but I forgot he switched into being a military man. Anyway, donation and talking about the neighborhood. Back to home!

Right I legit don’t have too many ideas on what to do with the rest of this day. I guess I’ll have Geoffrey head out to give some random advice to folks. Naoki Kobayashi ...and THERE is the massive glut of overlapping festivals. -sighs heavily- Anyway, Naoki, go and befriend...Johnny Zest! Let’s go and tell someone else to befriend someone else. Rohan Elderberry! Befriend Bjorn Bjergsen.

...annnnnnnd the death flower goal has vanished. Aaaaaaaaaa! This thing is so buggy! Again, I’ll play and see if the goal returns but if not, I’m just going to throw my hands up and be done with this. Too annoying to complete. Anyway, dinner at a restaurant eaten so let’s head home and head to bed. Time for a reset!

Annnnd now the Death’s Favorite Flower quest has completely reset and I still have no ability to research ambrosia. I’m DONE. Done done done. That’s enough of this questline. This specific point has given me too much grief for me to continue on. Farewell Sims, I’ll see you after November 12th!

all the worlds ranked in The Sims 4

i'm most likely the only one who have updated the ranks so i'll share my opinions 1: Sulani nothing can beat this world, not even Tomarang can beat Sulani, i love everything about this world, even the world itself, the activities, jobs, you can explore around, i love the lots, you can look for shells and spoiled food, build a small castle either alone or with the others, the furnitures are cute, you can take a shower under the river and you can even go to the cave, i do wished there were a little things more to do but other then that, it's great, it's the first and one of the less worlds which comes with a beach (the other ones are Tartosa and Tomarang) 2: Tomarang the lots are limited but we have apartments and unlike the city living one which comes with the world San Myshuno which comes with apartments, you can actually build one in Tomarang, you can infact build apartments in each worlds, you can walk around, there's a small market, you can buy something new that wasn't in its other packs, one of the less that has a beach, the third one infact and just like Sulani there's a cave you can explore around, you can go to the animals but they're rabbit-holes though, i love the lots, Sulani and Tomarang are the same but not the same at the same time, you get me? 3: Del Sol Valley i love there's a karaoke thing, a fitness, a museum, a park and mansion lots, i especially love with mansion lots you can see everything from above like there's a skyline or something, the world in itself is stunning too, this is my top 3, i just wished we could enter the beach since it's in there in the map but we can't even go there 4: Selvadorada sure it's a vacation world and it was on my top 3 for a long time untill "for rent" came out but it's still one of the best worlds in my opinion, you can explore around, having questions you have to answer to enter an another part of Selvadorada, you can work on the stone thingy and take a closer look to it, there's a park, a museum, a bar and something nearby you can buy things from and the 4 other ones are vacation lots, i wished it was in the residental worlds though but it's perfect, the world looks stunning too 5: Windenburg i love how this world is one of the less with most lots, i love the lots in itself, there's bars, coffee bars, karaoke bars, a swimming venue, some sort of a history venue, swimming and gym venues, all the other are residental lots, i like the lots too 6: Willow Creek also one of the less with most lots, the world is beautifull, it have a park, a music bar, a library, a gym and a museum and all the others are residental lots, it have a secret world you can actually go in, you can find items by like collecting the treasures and stones, the park is very big, it may be simple and basic but it was the first world so i let that go 7: Copperdale the world comes with a school and is focussed on teenagers, you can go to school, you can go to the prom, you can see how your sim graduate school once they've become an adult, there's a shopping lot you can build things, you can go to a park and hangout with the other sims, there's a ferris wheel, a rabbit-hole thing your sim can go in, there's a library your teens can study, all the other are residental lots, i live for the Copperdale world, both the world and the lots looks stunning 8: Mt Komorebi i love how unique this world is, it have a snowy climate and it's not based on USA for a change, i love how you can do winter sports and even climbing the mountain, both small and big and if you don't love sports, you can relax in a hot-spring or explore around in a none-snow areas of Mt Komorebi, there are festivals you can go to, you can buy unique things there and even buying the clothes that match with the festivals, it may have a winter climate but it feels more alive there in every place you can go to 9: Tartosa you can have a long walk and it looks beautifull when you walk on a bridge at near the river, i love the lots and it even comes with a wedding venue, you can buy flowers, cakes and clothes and it comes with a beach

i just wished it came with more lots and more activities to do, the world looks stunning, one of the less which is based on Europe and i live for none USA worlds 10: Ciudad Enamorada the most recent world and i quite like it, allthough they could've done better with the venues, i love the enviroment there, i love how it's based on latin america instead of the USA ones, you can find something either for yourself or for a sad bunny, there's a bar, karaoke bar, a fitness, a gym and a park, 1 vacation lot, a penthouse and all the others are residental worlds, the world looks stunning, there's this one part of area which looks kind of weird since it's the smallest part of the area from all of the other worlds with different areas, they could've done better with that part, hotels shouldn't be a thing if it's rabbit-holes but other then that i quite like this world 11: Britechester this world is based on university and i live for that based world, there are 4 residental lots, a bar, a library and all the others are university lots, you can learn new skills by clicking on the lot instead of using your mobile for this, it have squares, it have the lot trait study spot and university hangout which can be usefull in this world, you can study extra hard in one of the lots the same way you can go to classes, i don't have much to complain about 12: Brindleton Bay i like this world, it comes with a vet clinic, a park, a bar, karaoke bar, a park, a museum and all the others are residental lots, i love how it have activities for pets and if i'm correct, there's a boat you can travel to from a bar to the museum one, pets are not my thing but i like the visit the world from time to time 13: San Myshuno for some reasons it screams The Sims 2 because it especially have night activities, you can go to the festivals, one of the less with a celebity venue, it has a gym venue, a creativity venue you can do creative things, it comes with a park with things to explore around, there's a karaoke bar and all the other are apartments and allthough i love the apartment in itself, the room is the problem here because it won't do things i want, i can't even move the grave, they should do something about that problem but other then that i love the apartments and the world in general, this world is the first one with apartments 14: Chestnut Ridge one of the less which is a desert world, there's competitions based on horses, you can buy things, the enviroment is beautifull, it has a music bar, a normal bar, a park, it has a vacation lot, all the others are residental houses, it even have atleast one big lot, it feels more alive, you won't get bored easily, i do wish there was more things to do then dancing to the music, nectar making and riding horses though 15: Oasis Springs i feel like it's kind of a copy from Willow Creek for unknown reasons, some of the houses looks ugly but to make it up for it, it have a cave you can actually come in, finding treasures and go fishing and it have more lots compared to most worlds and it's a desert world 16: Henford-On-Bagley i love the world, i love the lots, i love how it have animals but i hate you have to buy it on the computer or mobile and that's not easy to me, it have competitions but it's difficult for most parts, you can buy some ingredients, most plants and even some cute things but that's all about it, there's barely gameplay to me but the forest park, the lots and the world makes it up for it and i use the world to buy some plants or rather seeds to complete things there, it's not bad but they could've done better in this world 17: Moonwood Mill not bad but not good neither, it have so little lots, i wish it had more lots, a werewolve training lot, NOT just a library lot, i do love how you can get to the mountain thingy to see the view from up there, you can explore around somewhere, there's a firecamp and i quite like the lots in itself so that makes up for it

18: Newcrest i don't know what to think of it, like yeah you can build lots since it's COMPLETELY empty but building is not my thing, it's bland and boring and it looks like Willow Creek in a way and it looks dead to me i put it in a meh list, people can either love this or hate this, for me i have a love-hate relationship with this world, more lots, fishing and the view makes it up for it though 19: Granite Falls i love the nature, i love the forest and i love the lots, it even have this secret world you can enter and watch the view from there, it even have firecamps, you can catch the insects, i like the world but i wished there were more things to do then just walking to the forest catching bugs, you get bored after a bit 20: San Sequoia it's supposed to be based on San Francisco but they failed it, no apartments but that's not the only reason why it's quite low with its ranks because it's empty, bland and boring, i can also see some lots you can't live there, i wished they added these lots you can actually live in instead of using it as a background to decorate it a little, i do like how there's a library and a new venue each family can visit to do some games there, it have some things in 1 community lot, like swimming, doing sports or doing some creativity but i feel like its missing a lot of things, they could've done a lot better with this world, i was very close from putting it in the "bad" category 21: Strangerville it have stories you can do your own storylines, i love the view if you visit the mountains, i love there's a library yet differently from other library from the worlds, kinda like Moonwood Mill which also have their own things there and i love the world but that's all about it, once you've completed the story, there's nothing to do there, i love storylines pack but they could've do something more after this storyline is over 22: Evergreen Harbor i love how unique this is from the other worlds but i HATE the dirt, you can't get rid of stuff unless you're in the lot and can get rid of dirty things, i also don't like the smoke in this world, the lots are either too big or too small but the apartments, a new venue and the dumpster makes it up for it 23: Glimmerbrook i want to love this world and it's beautifull coming from someone who HATES the dark but this world is so useless it only have 5 lots and one of them is a bar lot, i do love the river, it screams The Sims 1 world, the lots itself and the portal you can cross all makes it up for it and saved me from putting it to the "delete it" category 24: Magnolia Promenade one of the less which is in the "delete it" list, it only have 4 lots and it's all shopping ones, it looks dead to me if you DO visit the world, i wish hospital lot, science lot and the detective one was visible so we can use these parts even without the career and aside from these 3, i wished they added more lots, including a few residental lots, if you won't run a bussiness it's a useless world to me, an another bad one is, it looks like Willow Creek but smaller and a shop version of it 25: Forgotten Hollow the other one which is in the delete it list, there's nothing to explore around and it only comes with 4 lots, you can only use the world if you're a vampire, the only reason which isn't in the last place is because of the houses and i like this dark world and you can actually build the lots 26: Batuu no one asked for that pack, the world looks ugly and it doesn't have any lots, they could've made it a theme park or a amusement park or something, you can't even build anything in Batuu, there isn't anything i like about this world
