I'm dropping out of the bit.

I've had my account since the early-ish days of the war, and while I have enjoyed taking part with all these other amazing blogs and people, I think the war has run its course.

Many people in the Will Wood fandom have pointed out issues with the war, with its content flooding tags, and with the bit just generally getting out of control, especially with all the new accounts popping up without always knowing about any issues posed by the war.

There is also a slightly more recent issue, with parts of the war possibly making others uncomfortable, even if not intentionally.

Even if I've not been an incredibly active member of the war, I'm still part of it, so I believe I have a responsibility to know when its enough for me.

Overall, what I think started as a fun bit escalated into something that has made people uncomfortable and unhappy, and I think that's reason enough for me to quit.

I by no means hold it against anyone who chooses to continue, and I just hope that people can continue having fun, and working to make the universe that has been created a safe and non problematic space for the future of the bit.

I'd like to also thank the members of the bit for all being so nice over the course of the war, and allowing people such as me to enjoy themselves and have fun.

Now I know some of you don’t truly want to ship the man with himself and are being satirical. Heck, even I joked about it for the sake of peace, but knowing what he’s gone through with his fans… I think it’s time we hang our hats, wigs, and bald caps up and call it a day, at least for me.

My dear friend, what else did you expect me to do? The Balds must be punished for all the pain they have brought. If it means getting an agent of chaos to the Will Wood White House, then so be it. Revenge may be cold and the end of me, true, but so would be living in a world in which justice is not served.

We live in a chaotic world, Eyebrows. Things change, friends betray each other, people are balded and haired. What is another treason thrown into the mix, after all? Just a speck in a sea of chaos. Chaos, that will soon lead to order. To peace. And finally, justice. For all the balded in the war. The exhusbands taken from others. The suffering. It will soon be over, for better, or for worse.

It isn't personal, truly is not. It is just... justice. Justice, that soon will be served.

The nazis that you see in movies are as much a historical fantasy as vikings with horned helmets and samurai cutting people in half.

The nazis were not some vague evil that wanted to hurt people for the sake of hurting them. They had specific goals which furthered a far right agenda, and they wanted to do harm to very specific groups, (largely slavs, jews, Romani, queer people, communists/leftists, and disabled people.)

The nazis didn't use soldiers in creepy gas masks as their main imagery that they sold to the german people, they used blond haired blue eyed families. Nor did they stand up on podiums saying that would wage an endless and brutal war, they gave speeches about protecting white Christian society from degenerates just like how conservatives do today.

Nazis weren't atheists or pagans. They were deeply Christian and Christianity was part of their ideology just like it is for modern conservatives. They spoke at lengths about defending their Christian nation from godless leftism. The ones who hated the catholic church hated it for protestant reasons. Nazi occultism was fringe within the party and never expected to become mainstream, and those occultists were still Christian, none of them ever claimed to be Satanists or Asatru.

Nazis were also not queer or disabled. They killed those groups, before they had a chance to kill almost anyone else actually. Despite the amount of disabled nazis or queer/queer coded nazis you'll see in movies and on TV, in reality they were very cishet and very able bodied. There was one high ranking nazi early on who was gay and the other nazis killed him for that. Saying the nazis were gay or disabled makes about as much sense as saying they were Jewish.

The nazis weren't mentally ill. As previously mentioned they hated disabled people, and this unquestionably included anyone neurodivergent. When the surviving nazi war criminals were given psychological tests after the war, they were shown to be some of the most neurotypical people out there.

The nazis weren't socialists. Full stop. They hated socialists. They got elected on hating socialists. They killed socialists. Hating all forms of lefitsm was a big part of their ideology, and especially a big part of how they sold themselves.

The nazis were not the supervillians you see on screen, not because they didn't do horrible things in real life, they most certainly did, but because they weren't that vague apolitical evil that exists for white American action heros to fight. They did horrible things because they had a right wing authoritarian political ideology, an ideology that is fundamentally the same as what most of the modern right wing believes.

First off, it matters if the Hero of Ferelden is alive or not. When the First Warden recalled all wardens, our hero knew that was a bad call and refused, finally splitting off from Weisshaupt after years of mismanagement and taking scores of wardens with them. Their presence and leadership makes all the difference, rallying southern Thedas once more against the blight. If you have only an Orlesian Warden Commander in Amaranthine they’re less inspiring, but as long as you’ve done Awakening they are a boon nonetheless. There is someone to lead the fight against the darkspawn while other focus on the Venatori.

If you 100% completed Awakenings and also Soldier’s Peak, the Ferelden wardens have never been so prepared. They’re organized, they’re outfitted and they’ve been ready for this for years. Also, if you allied with the Architect then you have scores of strange research to give you an edge.

If Merrill completed her Eluvian then she moves south once again and joins the effort. She’s managed to cleanse the blight before and she’s ready to try it again. And her knowledge of the crossroads gives the south an edge on their movement and supply lines. If Hawke’s sibling is a Warden they accompanied her.

If the Inquisitor let Briala have power in any way, the Dales become the leaders in the war against the Venatori, forming a formidable alliance with Ferelden, Orzammar and the Marches, the likes of which have never been seen. And if you completed Jaws of Hakkon then their alliances with the Avvar and Chasind are stronger than ever.

Of course, if the Inquisitor kept the Wardens around after Here Lies the Abyss then their numbers are bolstered. It may cost Wiesshaupt later, but that’s Rooks problem. And if you completed the Descent, then the Inquisitor and Warden had a much better idea of what was coming and spent ten years getting ready.

They will not be broken.

They will weather this storm.

there's this horrible school of attempted literary criticism on here that holds that 1. everything in any given author's work is autobiographical, especially if it seems "real" and 2. those themes seeped into the work subconsciously, revealing something about the author that they're either trying to hide or unaware of themself. it drives me up a wall, since it seems to deny the fundamental skills that make people good writers: the empathy to imagine and portray experiences that one hasn't had oneself and the ability to take one's personal emotional experiences or worldview and fold them, consciously, into the unworked clay of a narrative.

So basically he's wearing the suit from the normal album photoshoot, and an eyeball mask. His pupil is able to move around and contract based on his emotions. His eye does not have an iris, yes its intentional

He has wings as well, and they're bird style black to red gradient wings. Even though he us able to move them and stuff, he usually just keeps them tucked around his torso like a cape.

He never takes off the mask, at least, not around others.

The hair war is over

Bald and hair are now happily together on a farm somewhere, living their domestic lives happy and healthy, probably has dogs they call their kids or something queer like that,

But the Nations are still in shambles. 

Discrimination between the hair and bald leaning political parties are still raginging. The stabbing at the banquet has been controversial, leaving an uproar in the will woodlings across the land. 

Liminal will wood wishes to sway the masses, lead them to the "future" of all the hepcat homes!, and of course to be loved by all. A challenging thing to do after the incident isn't it? 

So what other way to win everyone back than to run for President! 

That'll work in his favor! It's not like there's some party running against him, easy peasy! Right?
