i've been reading some of my fics, and it's wild how i can actually like what i write

like, i never finish writing/editing something and just go "oh this is good". i always get insecure and i always compare myself to others and it gets me thinking that i could have added this, should have described this situation better, should have described more of everything, should have done this and that, and you know how it goes

that's not to say that i don't have fics i like, there's a few, but i always like more the idea i had than what i actually managed to write. and now, as i go back, i realize that maybe i'm just too hard on myself. i write stories that i enjoy reading in ways that i also enjoy reading

maybe, finally, i should start seeing writing as something i should do more for myself than anything else. i enjoy the process too, like i can picture something in my head, and then i giggle because it was cute or i feel like crying because it was sad

Kirk occupies the unique position of a male character who had to choose one or the other. Maybe it's just me but do you guys ever think about how calmed down Wade would get if fucked regularly??
