i keep going to make posts about which duos I like to see in s5 and I'm like "oh I'd love to see more Will and Lucas but also Will and Dustin and Max too-" and then I realise that Will has basically been absent from scenes with his bestfriends (bar mike but we know why) and/or when he is with his bestfriends they're off screen.

they didn't forget his birthday! his birthday is still march 22nd in the show and they've acknowledged it on twitter many times and noah even posted about s5 on instagram on march 22nd with the caption " "Do you know what March 22nd is? It's your birthday." -Joyce Byers"

clearly this has been intentional from the beginning, given that when s4 came out they said they were changing his birthday to may 22nd and never did lol
