I’m gonna be perfectly honest, I didn’t watch campaign 2, but the fact that Fjord actually has a slightly cunty British accent matches with literally everything I’ve heard about him.

“Consume”
It is done!
I worked on this fanart for a week, in between commission works… and now, now it is finally ready!!
I’m so happy with how it came out, because I worked really hard on it trying to give more body and edge to my art (which is something I feel I always struggle with).
p.s. tiny tusks!

After the fight with Glyph and his demi god dad, the Fabled Few and friends took the injured fire genasi with them so he didn’t die a terrible horrible no good very bad volcano adventure death~
He is now grounded to a bucket on their ship and watched heavily by Fox (water genasi) and Vee (air genasi). Doing his best to be a nuisance as usual 🧡
Fishur (@systemendeavors) is also not impressed and def burnt his food lol
Doodles include:
-Lecture/Rules time featuring people not totally excited he’s there
-Learning that those rules will not allow him to commit mass murder on the empire that did him wrong he believes that the deal with our Druid will somehow make his head explode if he breaks it lmao
-Enemies to friends?
-Reverting back to his old flirty fuck boy ways smh 🧡

In general, I think Team Issylra is more of my speed than Team Wildemount where it has more joke and troll characters taking charge/disrupting the narrative.
Deanna and FRIDA are more support characters. Fearne goes with the flow, Imogen would please just not want to be the Leader.
Chetney doesn’t take anything serious and FCG is far too self-sacrificing that they’re willing to drive themselves and others into the Deep End. (Cue Logan Roy’s: “You are not serious people”).
In Team Issylra, Deni$e is cynical, she’s inquisitive and willing to push people to get answers but also so grounded and supportive. Deni$e and Deanna are two sides of the same coin in this regard.
Prism is an inexperienced wizard who is also very inquisitive.
And Bor’dor, if that is even his name, turned out to be one of the cultists.
Mix them in with Laudna, Orym, and Ashton who are a powder keg away from exploding and in Laudna’s case, she did.
Honestly, the fact that she hasn’t before this is a testament to the support of the whole Bells Hells group.
She just died again month ago. Yu’s betrayal is still fresh— Yu made her feel special and then it turns out she was an assassin. Then Otohan happened, and then the Apogee Solstice, and then they lost Imogen, Fearne, Chetney and FCG.
And then the Issylran group were thrust into a fairly gray situation where they helped a town with an also dubious town leader oust an overbearing colonizing Church institution.
And while it was fun with Team Wildmounte, the angst and heaviness with Team Issylra really worked for me and also I think it really helped the group that Deni$e was along too because she’s very good at taking initiative.
And then Bor’dor happened
He was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
It also re-crystallized for them that they are fighting a war.
Team Wildemount are returning to Jrsusar with their skin clear, reinvigorated with their mission, finding love and laughter, with the exception of Imogen who is still very much filled with anxiety but also looks slaying.
Team Issylra, returning to Jrsusar traumatized, looking in the middle distance with haunted expressions. Dirty and a bit more feral and broken. Soldiers.
(Seriously, Team Issylra has really upped their game tactically and skills wise).
I love Campaign 3.

gonna chime in and say that cleo could very well be the Hollow One race add-on from the Explorer's Guide to Wildmount! -dunno if you watch Critical Role, but one of the character's of their current campaign is one of these.
mechanically speaking, it means your body stays in the state it was when you died and you dont age, it let's you still be any race that you were before death, but you register as undead for any spells that identify or affect them; it also makes you be able to cause fear to those around you causing disadvantage on saves and it makes it easier for you to come back from being unconsious (you get 1 HP if you roll 16 or higher on death saves)
but i feel like narratively all of those work amazing for cleo: her presence makes other nervous making them fuck up plenty of times, and she's HARD to put down during a fight. and it also lets you say that she could be any other race before death and keep all the implications of that.
anyways. yeah. sorry i got the dnd brand of autism and seeing people suggest stuff made it so i HAD to send my own suggestion :]
AHHHHH yes that's right that's right!!!! laudna my beloved <3
i think the unsettling presence is so fun gfjdghfkdg i can totally see cleo popping off her arm or something to frighten their enemy hehe
yes yes it's just wonderful i love it :D i think they would've been just human before death... but idk maybe that makes it even better. they thought their life would be just ordinary... and now they're this
it's cool it's cool i love it thank you for your ask :D :D :D cleo's officially a hollow one i think wooooo

While I doubt we're going to get another Chetney-centred miniarc this campaign, I do hope, after the recent revelation about his family, that there will be a small scene that lets us know something about their fate. And, being in a comfort-needing mind state as of late, I hope it's on a fluffier, if bittersweet, side.
Maybe Bells Hells are visiting some city in Wildmount and when Chetney introduces himself to one of the locals they ask him if he's a relative of Pock O'Pea's who run the general store or something like that. And when Chetney asks the full name it's something he's unfamiliar with, no Sugarplum or Alabaster or Pepper or even Chad. But there's that itch in the back of his head and the others (FCG) keep nagging and he has just survived the apocalypse so why the hell not? And he goes to that shop, meets a pair of young gnomes running the place, and their noses look like Mom's and one has blue eyes that look so much like Pepper's but that can be his mind playing tricks on him, right? He asks where they're from, what brings gnomes to a place like this and they tell him the story of a family of immigrants, their grandparents, maybe even great-grandparents, running away from some terror of the past, settling down in this town, setting up a shop, building a new life.
Did all who started that journey end it safely here? No. Some of the siblings were lost along the way. But Grandma never liked to talk about it so they don't know much.
Is Grandma still alive? No. She passed away a few decades ago. But she had a happy life. Raised a bunch of children and grandchildren. Spent her last years in comfort, surrounded by a loving family. One of her brothers was a shoemaker, had his shop just down the street.
I doubt Chetney would necessarily reveal who he was to anyone but his siblings. I don't think he needs to seek out his family, even if he could benefit from getting that definite closure of learning a bit more about what had happened. It's just... I love grandpa Chetney energy and would love to see him talking to those young ones.

Well I finally convinced myself to finish watching episode 51. so here we are at the fabled 'split the party and message stops working' moment.
"I just smirk in moster fucker like 'okay' " AABRIA!!!!!!! you did NOT have to do that (thank you that is so funny it made my day)
Like I LOVED the divorced dynamic in Calamity, I am So Here for the exes dynamic. Aabria keeps bringing the best characters to this table.
I am so interesed to see where they go next, they've had such an intense purpose and goal for basically the whole campaign, and now with messaging cut off, they are away from and unable to communicate with peoeple who can tell them what is going on and how to stop Ludinous. I am so curious to see what they decide to do next. Hell this group is in Wildmount, stuck, without teleportation magic, in like the second most remote place they could have gotten.
Also I gotta say. I was really hoping that Aabria was the aeormaton because I knew there was something between them and fcg, and I was kinda hoping for more aabria and sam being in love, because that was good. But Im totally here for Travis and Aabria being old flings.
"It felt... fateful" Matt that is a Very Interesting Choice of Words
"one true god" followed immediately by "...sunny D's fucking face" lmaooooooo. Sam you menace
"but maybe the thing I felt was fear.... dread.. I didn't know they could feel that" oh my god Aabria!!!! that is a Horrifying Concept
God I love this group

hmm lifesteal exandria au... Some spoilers for anything below along with some other bits.
(Based on what I've seen which is up to ep75 of campaign 2, along with only downfall and post downfall campaign 3, so alot of this is wildmount along with like a tiny bit of tal'dore.)
I think zam would probably be a worshipper of Melora, The Wildmother, which I've definitely said before. But along with that I think he'd be really into graviturgy... Not from the dynasty though. Hes also a fallen aasimar, since he consistently goes back into worshiping betrayers, specifically Torog, The Crawling King. He's also most likely from the menagerie coast, nicodranas, by the wildmother's lighthouse. He later moved closer to the Dynasty and discovered their schools of magic through scraps of information heard on the winds.
Mapicc, definitely a teifling no question there. Part of the Kryn Dynasty, so technically a worshipper of the Luxon mainly cause he has to, also quietly a worshiper of Gruumsh, The Ruiner. I think hes probably constituted and is from a high ranking den... Likely on his second Consecution, was originally a drow. I think his den works closely with the bright Queen along with den thelyss. Has probably met the mighty nein during their times in the lucid bastion.
Zam and Mapicc met when Mapicc was on an outing towards the outskirts of Rosohna and after quite abit of back and forth bickering and minor skirmishes (over a few months) they began to become friendly towards eachother and Zam convinced mapicc to sneak him out some graviturgy spells in exchange Zam gave him some handmade jewelry and let him choose an item that he found along his travels. Mapicc chose an incredibly intricate great sword, which according to Zam was quite good at cutting things and keeping you hidden (+2 to attack rolls and damage, allows the attuned to turn invisible once per short rest.) The two slowly began trusting eachother and would tell stories about places theyve been and complain about anything annoying them.

I am 21 years old (looking for 18+).
I am looking for an oc rp based on campaign two of Critical Role. I am only interested in playing an oc but if you would like to play a canon than that is totally fine! I also would most likely adore any ocs you may have! Just looking for someone to carve out a little piece of Wildmount with me!
I am also always on the lookout for fandomless medieval fantasy rps!
I rp solely on Discord as I love to have channels for everything under the sun. Give me your playlists and picrews and headcanons. I am semi lit preferably on rp heavy spots so like a paragraph or two, but I am happy to write to the Discord maximum characters with scenes not dialogue heavy. I do not do smut even fade to black. I am usually very active and would like someone that can rant with me for hours (schedules permitting). I know that won't be possible for most everyday.
Like this post or DM if you are interested. ❤️

(Old art!) Vee’s journey: How she went from a feral kidnapped child solider/experiment with the phonetic code name Victor, to finding a family to call her own and becoming a hero. Vee of the Fabled Few has done so much already. Second Chance program founder, Golden Compass Adventuring Guild founder, chosen champion of the Stormlord, beloved daughter, beloved best friend, beloved sister, beloved partner, and so much more.
We’ve taken a break from playing our Fabled Few campaign, but we have a lot more ahead of us. Soon Vee and her friends will be slayers of dragons, exposers of false demi gods, liberators of the oppressed, and will continue to be the goofiest of goobers~
This game holds a very special place in my heart and I’m excited to revisit it soon. I miss them.

It's been a few days, but if you were still interested in that ask meme....
M: Got any premises on the back burner that you’d care to share?
=D Yeay! An ask!
Hooooo, okay, so, I have a LOT of fanfic that I'm theoretically working on/daydreaming about that doesn't get shared, but, uh, lets see what's not too horrifying to share...
I spent a couple of weeks a few months ago binge-watching Criminal Minds, and got infected by a plotbunny of Dean Winchester/Aaron Hotchner(/Haley Brooks) as a sort of... fix it crossover where, because they're both protagonists from rather different genres, their different approach manages to fix things in the other 'verse.
As in, Dean kills Foyet in proper I'm-fresh-out-of-hell-and-you-did-WHAT-to-my-boyfriend?! style. With added bonus 'you think you're good with a knife? Boy, have I got some things to show you. Say hello to Alastair for me when you get down there'.
And Hotch (and the team) profile the fucking devil so well they manage to talk him down from trying to wipe out humanity. (He goes off to fuck up heaven instead.)
I've gotten bits and pieces of, well, backstory written up, plus some 'Dean meets the BAU' and 'Hotch meets hunters' scenes that I love, but I've gotten stuck on something really stupid and just haven't managed to get my brain to move past it, so I haven't actually written the parts I started writing the story for yet ^^" (this happens to me a lot).
What else?
I have been working, on and off, on a Critical Role Time Travel AU that's actually kind of a spin-off of my very first Critical Role fic which is 'Molly lives rent-free in Caleb's head for the entire rest of the campaign' because as I was watching it I was constantly thinking 'but how would Molly react to this?!' so I wrote it (some of it).
And then I thought 'okay, but what if, okay, I know time-travel is supposed to be semi-impossible, but what if it is technically POSSIBLE, it's just that going backwards through time essentially destroys the soul/spirit/whatever, EXCEPT, of course, that when Caleb does it, he has a BONUS SOUL coming along for the ride, and it's basically enough for Molly to get through more or less intact?'
And then the Moonweaver is like 'fuck, you are my Most Troublesome Worshipper, what am I going to do with you?' and Molly is, you know, themself, so the Moonweaver, also being a goddess of lovers trysts, nudges things until Lucien ends up with twin baby brothers (Molly and Kingsley are both Aspects of the same being, and thus inextricably linked, so bits and pieces of Kingsley got dragged along for the ride, only not enough for him to have more than Weird Instincts) and a bonus Moonweaver Cleric mum.
Was this an excuse to write canon!verse Tealeaf triplets? Yes. Yes it was.
Did it turn into a Ridiculous Epic Saga of the Tea Leaves (Molly, Kingsley, Caduceus, Keg, and Ophelia Mardun) treking across all of Wildmount trying to save people from the future and stumbling into messes along the way? Yes. Yes it did.
Did I actually manage to write any of the actual story? No. I wrote backstory instead, and ended up mostly writing about the adventures of two separate Parent Squads that are probably... 40-60% OCs? doing a tiny little Molly's bidding. It very much became a And You Get A Parent And You Get A Parent And You Get Three Parents story.
I have Such Plans for this AU (including, importantly, a Shadowidomauk endgame), but, alas, actually writing it is proving... difficult.
One more for luck?
Hmm... I have Ideas for a Peaky Blinders AU based on my Little Sallyanne fic? It's not very well fleshed out yet, but it definitely results in Sally murdering the shit out of her brother's terrible wife, adopting her nibling, and going on to severely fuck up nazis when WWII rolls around.
This one is Percolating, and I'm really not sure what I want to do with it, exactly. Just general Vibes of Tommy being the feral gremlin mentor to my beloved feral gremlin child. (Also, Sally getting semi-adopted by Alfie Solomons, maybe, because here's this child going around claiming to be Jewish when she's not, and Alfie's like 'no, either you fucking Stop That, or you commit to the fucking bit' and Sally's like '-starry eyes- Okay Dad'. I would have to do a lot of research to do this justice because I'm aware that I don't know enough to know how to write this properly ^^" Basically, I just want everyone adopting her like a starving feral cat who will absolutely bite the hand that feeds her)
Technically, I think you can say that things like Never Simple, Not All Who Wander, and the various other unfinished things on my writing blog are all on a backburner right now? As well as the next instalments in my Somewhere Just Beyond My Reach and Gramarye and Trapped In The Amber series also count. I am Thinking About Them a lot, but there's either not enough for me to get my teeth stuck into, or my teeth are stuck and I can't chew on them properly =P

Since a number of kind users have pointed out to me that this site has no character limits, I'm going to expound on my post about how the online community is way ahead of WotC.
First, there's the mechanics and their implementation. Perhaps one of the most famous examples is how Brennan Lee Mulligan (creator of Dimension20) reworked (or, at least, popularized the reworking of) Wild Magic Sorcerers for The Unsleeping City in a way that I've seen heralded as better than RAW, as the revised version increases the probability of surging every time a player passes the check to avoid a Wild Magic Surge, reseting when the player fails the check. Another mechanic I've seen that's ahead of RAW is how Jacob of XP to Level 3 does inspiration with playing cards instead of dice (he might have gotten it from somewhere else, and correct me if so).
Second, there's settings. I was made aware that Strixhaven is from a crossover between Ravnica/MTG and DnD, so I'll use another example. The Forgotten Realms (where the majority of the modules are set) is Tolkien-esque in a lot of aspects (especially in how alignments were a racial feature for, like, a long time but we won't get into that here). While some shows (like the first NADDPOD campaign) are like the Forgotten Realm, even those have fun twists, not to mention settings like Trinnyvale, Balance, The Unsleeping City and Exandria and the infinite number of homebrew worlds people use at their home game.
Tangent, but there's an easy solution to these problems: take the L (like they did with Wildmount) and publish a book called "Frimblo's Big Book of Cool Shit We Wished We'd Thought Up First" or something like that with all the settings from the big actual-plays, since playing in magical New York City certainly sounds more interestingthan going back to Baldur's Gate or the Sword Coast.
The last major way that WotC is behind the ball is the adaptability of their worlds (and modules). This ties into the settings issue, but is worth talking about. The modules I've read (Descent into Avernus, Tomb of Annihilation and Curse of Strahd) all say "Make your player's backstories all line up with our module". I'm aware that this is a side-effect of the mass-produced nature of pre-made adventures, but they could at least be more flexible in how the modules are written so as to let the players have more agency in their background.
So yeah, that's a more expounded-upon version of my thoughts.
