New angsty Cyril headcanon

I headcanon that Cyril kinda knew how bad of a person Leopold was, however, he was in denial about it.

What I mean by this is that Cyril would notice that Leopold was a bad person, but he would always tell himself stuff like, "I owe him for letting me become his apprentice," or "He's been the Grand Keeper since I was sixteen, there's no way that he would still be the Grand Keeper if he wasn't a good person," And stuff like that because, for apprentices, your mentor is like your parent, and you probably also see your mentors more than you see your parents during your apprenticeship. And children are more likely to dismiss the actions of their parents.

I don’t think they describe what it looks like when a beast comes out of its mark so I will

I imagine at first the beast looks like a statue of the mark on it’s lorekeeper’s body and they are gold like the mark but quickly come alive and regain their natural coloring

Like pokemon in the anime for a few seconds being a blue silhouette of itself from the pokeball

Here's a little headcanon about Cyril because he's my favorite.

I have a headcanon that if someone is looking for Cyril, they probably won’t find him. And it’s not because he is good at hiding, although he is surprisingly good at hiding and being stealthy for a person who is 6 ft 8 in my AU, it’s because he hides in the most unexpected places like trees and cabinets.

Anyway, I also headcanon that the bookshelves in the University are so tall that someone could hide up there and never be found. So of course that's where Cyril goes to escape the chaos of the Tourney. He just sits on top of the bookshelves with his hibiscus tea and his alicornettes and reads his Guildocracy books.

Do you think when Yasha kisses Barclay that Yasha’s fire lore sometimes warms (or accidentally burns) his cheek and Barclay is so flustered he can’t control his wind lore so he literally starts lifting off the ground like he’s floating

I headcanon that Cyril didn't really believe that Runa was being too ruthless when she 'killed' Audrian, not immediately, but Leopold convinced him that she was. And when Leopold stopped the duel between Cyril and Runa, Cyril asked Leopold why he stopped the duel, and Leopold said that he stopped the duel because he knew that Cyril would lose, implying that Cyril was too weak.

Barclay and Tadg most definitely have a club for when your beasts bond with you. They go on small adventures to the library to see if they can find books on it.

When there older they write books on it together Barclay writes the rough drafts because Tadg’s hand writing is terrible.

a little headcanon/theory

I think that when you bond with a beast then the mark randomly appears on your body, like how Viola bonded with Kulo. However, when your beast bonds with you, like how Root bonded with Barclay, the mark appears wherever your beast touched you when they created the bond. For example, Barclay's mark was on his shoulder which is where he got that scratch from Root when Root bonded with Barclay.

Does Codric need to be sheared? I ask this because domesticated sheep were bred so they couldn't shed their wool in the summer and wild sheep can shed their wool if they have wool like domesticated sheep.

And Codric seems to be described as a mix of both Bighorn sheep and most domesticated breeds of sheep, the breed that are bred specifically for wool production.

Bighorn sheep

Domesticated sheep (a breed meant for wool production because there are several breeds of sheep that are meant for different things (I don't know much about breeds of sheep btw))

And if Codric needs to be sheared, then that means he would be running around looking like this lol

He probably can shed his wool, but that would also leave a giant mess in Cyril's house, so Cyril probably has him sheared anyway.

I was bored so I decided to make some Wilderlore characters, I will have a headcanon about the character and then I will have the character. (I know this is a bad explanation but whatever. Also their designs are affected by some of my personal headcanons btw.)

Tadg (He is very angy.)

Even though he acts really rude about it and calls people weird for trying to hug him, he loves hugs. He also complains every time someone touches him.

Barclay (The dog is supposed to be Root.)

He loves head pats.

Viola

She collects things like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and anything shiny that she finds.

Shazi

She collects random metal things that she finds.

Hasu

She collects flowers that she finds.

Cecily

She often tries to copy Cyril's hairstyles, because she looks up to him a lot and wan'ts to be like him, and she steals his clothes cuz they are too big for her.

Yasha

He can't fall asleep unless someone he is close to, like Barclay, Moyta, or Audrian, are asleep near him.

Audrian (Dumb*ss)

He regrets getting caught and having his identity revealed because he misses Cyril and Runa, and he is sad that Yasha doesn't get to hangout with his friends anymore. (He also calls Yasha, Yash cuz why not.)

Cyril (Book nerd) (Cee-Cee)

He keeps every gift that his apprentices give him and refuses to get rid of them, even if Leopold tells him to get rid of them.

Runa

She lets her apprentices braid her hair while she tells them stories.

Leopold Warning (Yes I made Leopold)

Context: He is mad at the apprentices for putting bows in his hair. (He hasn't read the shirt, yet.)
