PVParent AU

So I will make a mass post later (I have to finish up some art stuff and need to clear that stuff up beforehand) but will explain some of the plot rn.

PVParent (or Childlock) is about people knowing Evbo is the chosen one already and PrinceZam taking him and raising him to be the perfect chosen one. Guard notice this and plans something with parrot (they have a frenemies to lovers thing going on) to help break Evbo out of PrinceZam’s care and the rest of his like chosen one business group. They succeed and are on the run for a while (jumping from different weapon cities) They settler in one of the cities and meet Tabi who says she wants to help. She acts as a babysitter/older sister to Evbo but is trying to gain the whole families trust so she can steal Evbo away for her own business company thing. During all of this, Parrot and Guard are trying to learn how to parent a traumatized and brainwashed child as well as falling in love with each other or something.

Anyways hopes this is clear, please ask me questions while it stews in my mind.

The two Evbos meet. (Silly little sketch)

I always saw parkour!Evbo to be early to mid 20s-ish, while PvP!Evbo to be around mid to late teens (15+). The differences between the two is so big for me. Pkciv!Evbo is very confident and becomes god while pvp!Evbo is literally a child who is used as a tool of sacrifice. Evbo is good at making these characters different but still distinctly himself.

literally cannot stop thinking about how intentional it is in pvp civilization that people refer to evbo as "kid" or tell him he is "just a kid". it isn't just a headcanon that he is probably a teenager he IS a teenager. he's impulsive like a teenager, he's naive like a teenager, he doesn't understand romance like a teenager, he's materialistic and looking for anything that will give him comfort or happiness like a teenager because he IS A TEENAGER. he's a kid. he's a kid cursed with immortality, and what do people do with that? abuse it. evbo is a kid in a horrible, violent society, and he knows nothing else, but he still believes, naively, like a kid, that there are people who are better than this society. he tells zam that he and the iron swords don't need to farm him, that it will do them no good. what about his life? what about tabi's? and he forgets where he is. what he is.

in this society, evbo is not a child. in this society, evbo is not the "chosen one". he is a tool. he is an object. what do you do with tools and objects? you use them.

and yet evbo still stands there, a kid. and the adults of this society exploit that. he is just a kid, he doesn't get it. he is just a kid, he doesn't realize how many lives he's saving. he is just a stupid, naive, vulnerable kid with too much love and too much hope in his heart. we can use that.

he is a calf standing on wobbly knees born knowing it is destined for the slaughterhouse.

It looks like it will take place in a more heavily populated area, (or a wider variety of areas, some of which were at one point densely populated) which will be very neat. I loved that little clip of one survivor boosting another into a window

I’m so curious what this means for the lore. That clip of a power plant? That’s gonna have Implicationsss.

Also the outfit design is ferocious, that dude cleaning off the can of peaches is dripped out. I love coats that go down to around mid thigh and have some movement to them, it’s a great look.

The person using an upside down hockey stick as a walking stick is so very Canadian.

The big pile of electronics in the wood also has implications to me because yeah they’re flickering but why are they piled in the woods?

Idea for the next Life Series;

Each player is randomly put in a group of (4-5?)

Each group has 20 points- your group looses points when someone dies

When a group loses 5 points (20 (Dark Green) -> 15 (Light Green) -> 10 (Yellow) -> 5 (Red)-> 0) their color collectively changes

The team does not all simultaneously die when their points reach 0, respawn is just disabled

In order to regain points, teams can of course, kill. 2 kills = one point. You have to be yellow or red to kill.

Yes this is like double life on steroids- the point is that a player could theoretically not die yet still end up red because their teammates like to die

Why do people generally dislike Limited Life?

It’s my favorite, I feel like it’s one of the more dramatic seasons with the players literally watching the clock tick down to their death and the desperation that comes with that

It had some of the best teams (bad boys, TIES, clockers) and the storylines

The horribly awkward family dinner that ended in with Scar killing his own brother, the plot to blow up bread bridge that went shockingly well, the bad boys getting dressed up in different clothes to mourn said bridge even though all three of them never usually get skins for this series

Skizz’s death…. Joel’s death… the ending…DELISH

man, its been a while since I've drawn anything Wilderlore related! so I'm back with a Wilderlore x Final Fantasy 14 crossover, because why not mash two hyperfixations together! in this Au, Barclay is a Viera from a really remote tribe, who shuns anyone who even interacts with outsiders (except to scare them off of course). Root is... more or less the same, i just made his design a little more Final Fantasy inspired.
