hgs brainrot has returned due to tbosas .. speaking of hgs here’s an ask abt the hgs au: if things were totally different, and Wilbur were to be a 12 victor, what do you think a possible mentor-tribute dynamic would look like between him & Niki? I feel like it would be similar to Snow & Lucy in the way that he’s just going out of his way to cheat n help her
anon u have in fact struck jackpot because this is a concept i was spinning some thoughts abt before bee mentioned avoxes and we went OOOOH at that!!! so yes i have considered rainduo as a mentor-tribute dynamic and would love to talk about that concept too :]
so for this concept i think wilbur and niki would be close friends throughout childhood from 12, and then in their teens wilbur is reaped and, well, no one has particularly high hopes (he's a writer and a musician at heart, not a fighter) but through sheer trickery and dumb luck, he makes it to the end of the games. wilbur pulled some pretty fucked up tricks to win - when you can't use brute force, you have to use your brain - and partly due to the trauma of the games, partly due to his shame and survivor's guilt, he sinks into the capitol and relishes a new life there as a socialite. to him, the old wilbur died in the games and the new one has taken his place - to niki, and to his other friends in 12, whatever the games did to him made him into every vapid heartless capitol victor there is.
or. niki has her doubts. they all saw how horrible the games were, but surely there is some part of him left, some part that's hurting, even if it's buried deep?
anyway.
like og spin of the au, niki is reaped and this sucks - this time she does expect wilbur as her mentor on the train, and she expects some kind of warm welcome (maybe even an apology for leaving them so suddenly and silently? an explanation?) but she gets jack shit. wilbur is jaded and cruel and unrecognisable and niki entirely hates it. this is the part where i REALLY WISH we got some time of those two beefing with each other directly in canon (or at least interactions while niki was So Mad at him) but it's okay we fly blind. niki feels abandoned, lonely, thrown off of her kilter - she expected an ally in this place, but she doesn't recognise the person wilbur has become. she doesn't recognise his shallowness (...much), his ruthless advice for the arena, the way he doesn't seem to care for anything. she's scared and now she's lonely and it pisses her off - their mentorship is fraught. here are some thoughts from discord on that:
Tumblr media
i tend to think of niki as a bit naïve before l'manberg or even doomsday - i think this is an au where this streak would come out real strong, and niki is stubborn that she can get through the games without losing herself. stubborn that she can stop things, that she can protect people. i don't think wilbur is cold enough (or, really, can bear to say aloud) to say that her odds in the arena are slim enough as it is, but he definitely tells her that she's making enemies and that her odds of survival dwindle with the more trouble she causes.
beyond that... hm. niki's trust in wilbur is almost unshakeable until nov 16, even when she outright says she doesn't recognise him anymore. i think she'd reluctantly listen re: don't burn down any buildings, but she would grow bolder each day she had to stay in the capitol. she gets more honest in front of the cameras. she makes more friends in training, and not the ones wilbur recommends. she throws barbs at him every time he makes one of those callous, cold-hearted comments about other tributes and rankings and odds. and besides, she's going in the arena this time, not him. she needs to practice her bravery.
it's like... she hasn't given up on him. she thinks the old wilbur is in there somewhere. (she is wrong. that is not how trauma works.) but she won't hold her tongue just because she
for extra angst points could definitely play up the whole 'feeling abandoned' angle between them as niki goes into the arena - probably due to how fraught their friendship gets leading up to the games. niki wants to focus on them and their friendship, wilbur has stringently cut off (almost) everything from 12 and refuses to let her in; he tells her to behave for the cameras, she tells him she never will. i think the last point in that screenshot would also make for a super tasty argument where niki feels wilbur has gone astray, that he's abandoned 12, and that he'll probably do nothing but sit on his ass and watch her die and he can't even bring himself to care about her anymore, can he? just more fodder for the arena. and honestly, i think wilbur would passively agree with most of that - he values niki's opinion, after all, even now, and if she says he's rapidly descending into a lost cause then she must be right. and it's niki, so she will be fine, and he goes to his bedroom that night and tries to pretend he is sleeping perfectly fine instead of feeling paralysed with fear.
okay now onto the games - YES HE SO WOULD. or at least i think he would go out of his way to help. as for cheating - he's a recent victor for 12 and i think he would value tommy (no doubt a link to him... i think they'd be in touch in this au also) too much to risk the punishment falling onto him as well. i get the vibes this is a games closer to 74th than 10th, so there are far fewer opportunities to cheat and the consequences of getting caught are higher. but schmoozing up sponsors? making stupid ass radio interviews or whatever to talk up niki's odds? sharing anecdotes from their childhood - some real, some entirely fabricated - across capitol airwaves to stoke their sympathy? 100%. with less to lose in this au, i think niki would be far less inclined to play nice for the cameras - i hope you starve, she spits at one of them, and wilbur appears on a talkshow two days later as she scrambles for survival in the arena to talk up how she always saved loaves from the bakery for the poorest mothers and children in 12. he borrows and begs and swindles to the point where it feels like cheating. but hey, this new wilbur is capitol-branded. he knows how to play the game.
if anything he probably sinks into the game a little too much. self-preservation is not his forte. probably wracks up a few heavy debts and favours to owe, but those are not priority until niki is out of the arena, alive. as long as she wins, and as long as the family he has isn't in danger, he will manage. wow it would suck if at some point those two goals became impossible to co-achieve. anyway
i kind of see niki's victory in the arena being similar to the one in the main au - if only because planning out an entire games is hard for meee >-< . she walks in bolder and braver for sure, and with a less strategic pick of allies, but they all get picked off and she spends a few weeks so terrified she can barely sleep and then she ruptures some fuel line and sets the arena alight with a fire that burns brighter and more ravenously than it should. but she wins, and she's airlifted out of a filthy, muddy creek she had resigned herself to die in, and wilbur barges his way through as many peacekeepers so that he can actually see her with her burnt skin and hair and unfocused eyes and trust that what was on the screens wasn't a fluke, and that they made it. and then it's just a matter of surviving the after.
i'm sure there are some other random quirks or tidbits i can think of re: this take on a c!rainduo hunger games au but these are my base thoughts!!
#can i just say whatever the hell lucy grey n snow had going on in part 1 made me so berko btw. like congrats ur my means to an end youre my#symbol youre my buddy? should we kiss? i'll get you out of here / don't make me leave these people behind#BRIDGING OFF OF THE TBOSAS DISCUSSION. i think the thing with crainduo (or at least how i like to depict them) is that they care about each#other extremely deeply and value each other... without being each others number one priority at all times.#i don't think niki plays priority with people she cares for like that; see her relationships with like wilbur and eret in lmanberg#even her friendship with and offering ponk a place to stay in her city after manberg even tho manberg hurt her#as for wilbur: his priority is tommy. like always. if it was just him on the line he'd do anything to get niki thru but it's not#asks#hunger games au#they would truly be such a nightmare in this au like. wilbur's self loathing is SO HIGH due to survivors guilt and trauma and mental illnes#he thinks that niki is So Good and Has It Together meanwhile he is So Bad#and is a mess that she cannot possibly rely on him. she can't possibly need him. she can't possibly want him around#<- and this shit is INGRAINED like. it's not even an active thought pattern anymore it is carved into his brain like a groove#and so shes like. do you even care whether i live or die??#of course he does. but this is the capitol. he cant be vulnerable in a way that matters#and that alienates niki further and this rage and heartbreak is building in her with nowhere to go. and in the arena she thinks it erupts#nah uh. i think its AFTER the area when she has to face wilbur again that she would go full screaming meltdown#ANYWAY !! i really like aus where they have this friction esp because i think like.. idk i think sometimes our views of rainduo are too ros#wilbur kind of forgets about niki sometimes because his self hatred is that bad. niki doesnt get wilburs mental illness and takes it both a#a burden/blame AND a direct rejection of her and her friendship#and they hover just outside of each others spaces anxious and angry and almost self flagellating. GOOD FOR THEM !#anyway Yes this did unlock something within me. thanks anon feel free to add on if u had more thoughts esp re: tbosas and such bc i had suc#a good time watching that movie

Simpbur with a reader who fell first?
The guy would be so confused and would be adorable
Simpbur With A Reader Who Fell First
Simpbur x Female Reader
Warnings: Reader gives Simpbur a blowjob, Softdom!Reader, Sub!Simpbur
Oh my goodness, anon, I am a SLUT for Simpbur. I’m not even going to deny it :’) Him being just a shaking, nervous mess with a girl who fell for him first that he’s obsessed with? <3 Sorry if you didn’t want it to be NSFW… but I was desperate to write a submissive Simpbur…
Headcannons below cut!
~You’d be working as a barista, with a cute regular who comes in every morning and tips you well.
~You only know his name, Wilbur, from writing it on his cup.
~After about a week of seeing this adorable stranger, you start adding pretty doodles on his cup, blushing when you see his eyes light up at the sparkles and hearts around his name.
~One day, you finally work up the nerve and ask him out!
~He is shocked to say the least.
~Wilbur couldn’t imagine this gorgeous barista he’s started coming in to see everyday could fall for someone like him.
~He accepts gratefully, smiling so wide when your number is included with the doodles on his order.
~Your first date is innocent, taking him out for dinner and then walking around town afterwards to watch the sunset.
~When you ask to kiss him, he’s confused why you’d want to kiss him, but God does he want to feel your lips on his own.
~His hands are shaking as you gently kiss him, heart beating out of his chest.
~It takes approximately a 5 second kiss to feel him poking into your leg, his hands awkwardly pawing at your hips and waist.
~”I could take care of that for you… want to come back to my car?”
~Wilbur couldn’t imagine saying no.
~Your soft, soft lips wrapped around him, your warm, tight mouth sending him to heaven.
~He sputters out your name as he spills in your mouth, embarrassingly soon after you started.
~”Sorry I didn’t last long-“ He tries to apologize, but you shut him up with a kiss.
~”It’s ok,” you wink. “I’ll take it as a compliment. You free next week?”
~Wilbur would always be free for you.

Tumblr media
inspiration struck at odd times. you’d become well accustomed to that in the time you’d been dating wilbur, sometimes waking up in the middle of the night to the sound of a muffled guitar coming from the living room.
you knew that music consumed wilbur’s thoughts daily. his routine consisted of wake up, think about music, think about you, write music, think about you, think about music and, if you were especially lucky, he’d think about you once more before bed.
music was wilbur’s first love, you were more than aware. but he’d made sure you knew that you were his greatest, and that was all that mattered.
the last few months of his life had been dedicated to that first love of music, and, unfortunately for his ‘greatest’ that meant wilbur had been forgoing certain self-care activities.
he was pressing gentle kisses on your cheeks, skirting around your lips as you giggled, trying to chase him. it had been a long week, and even getting to kiss you once had been a luxury with how busy you both had been, let alone getting to sit with you. your back pressed against the side of the couch, the rest of you a tangled mess with the rest of him as he relaxed into your hold for the first time in what felt like ages.
your palms were flush against his cheeks, feeling the warmth radiating out of his skin. wilbur went to press his forehead to yours but was interrupted by your spluttering coughs.
he pulled away, concern pulling at his mouth. “you alright?”
you coughed, turning your face away from his, bringing your hand up to cover your mouth. “this has gone too far,”
“what’s wrong?” wilbur sat back on his heels, taking your hands in his. “are you okay?”
“your hair is too long,” you said decidedly, standing up and pulling him along with you. “this is getting out of hand.”
wilbur laughed as you dragged him towards the kitchen. “what are you doing?”
you turned, running your thumbs over his knuckles. you let his fingers go just long enough to brush the excess hair out of his eyes. he softened under your touch and squeezed your hand, his free one coming up to rub the spot right beneath your ear. “i thought you liked my hair?”
you let him go, pulling a stool from the other side of the counter and dragging it beside the refrigerator. “i do,” you assured him, throwing him a look over your shoulder as you wandered down the hallway. wilbur waited dutifully in his assigned seat while you were out of the room, running a hand through his curls. they were truly getting unruly, he could understand why you wanted him to get a haircut. he shuffled, grabbing his phone out to book an appointment when you returned, his least favourite towel in your hand. “but, i like your face more.”
he nodded towards the towel. “finally getting rid of that thing?”
you hugged it close to your chest. “never. i’ll never understand your resentment towards it.”
“it scratches!”
“you just don’t understand it like i do.” you huffed, laughing gently. you noticed the phone in his hand, giving him a quizzical look. “what’s that for?”
“i was gonna call in, book myself a haircut,” he said, turning the phone around to show you.
you took it out of his hand, putting it face down on the bench. “no need!” you beamed at him, draping the towel over his shoulder and pulling the kitchen scissors out, giving them a snip for emphasis. “that’s what i’m here for.”
he gave you a nervous glance, squinting slightly. “are you a licensed professional?” he asked seriously, trying to ward off the smile breaking out over his face.
“of course,” you said, offence laced in your tone. “i’ve got four year’s experience looking at your face. i know what it’s meant to look like.”
“so you know that it’s meant to be wound-free?” he clarified. you gave him a look and he conceded. “it’s not that i don’t trust you, darling, i just…” he sighed, finally letting the smile take over his face, swinging your connected hands back and forth. “this haircut is gonna be all over the internet for like, four to six months, so i just worry.”
“i cut my own hair all the time, wilbur.” you raised your eyebrows. if it really made him uncomfortable, then of course you’d let him go to a professional, but you couldn’t lie and say the idea of delving your hands into his hair wasn’t appealing.
that seemed to convince him. “you do have lovely hair.”
you beamed down at him and suddenly it was a done deal, if it made you smile like that.
the feeling of your hands in his hair made him close his eyes, his head resting on your leg as you, perched on the bench, worked on the other side of his head. it took nearly an hour - the guy had a lot of hair - but when you were done he smiled up at you. “how do i look?”
you considered him. “you’re okay with the camera only facing this side of you right?” you poked his cheek. he laughed loudly, taking the scissors out of your hand and dumping them in the kitchen sink. you hopped off the counter, kicking some loose hair up with your socked foot. “i’m sure we have glue somewhere, right?”
he pulled you closer by the hips as he stood up, planting a kiss on your forehead. you let the joke go, bringing your hands to ruffle his hair.
he kissed you gently. “it's in the bottom drawer.”

this is cc!wilbur
⋆。˚ ☁︎ ˚。⋆。˚☽˚。⋆
-early morning kisses before he has to go to the studio/or the office. You’re on the cusp of waking up and potentially falling back to sleep, cutie will kiss your cheeks and lips so softly to wake you up.
-when you’re hanging out with friends, whether it’s at dinner or when your sitting side by side he’ll put his arm around your shoulders. Sometimes laying his hand over your arm, or if he senses you’re uncomfortable he’ll rub his knuckles up and down your arm for comfort, letting you know he’s there.
-he definitely dose the side walk rule. he feels so protective of you to begin with You feel so safe with him wherever you go especially since he’s so tall, dude will probably scare off anyone who gets any ideas.
-Wilbur is chivalrous, he opens doors for you, gives you his sweaters when its cold, holding things for you, giving you flowers every date you go on. the list goes on.
-if you have hair in your eyes or he gets the urge to tuck your hair behind your ear get a better view of your face. You won’t notice it when he does it since you’re lost in conversation but when you do best believe you’ll be a blushing mess because he’ll admire you so lovingly when he sees more of you.
-if he’s out at the store and he sees your favorite snack or drink he’ll get it to surprise you. especially if he knows you’re having a bad day.
-sends you messages throughout the day to check in on you. and checking in when you guys are just hanging out together. if you’ve been suspiciously quiet for too long he might think something’s wrong and ask. “you okay darling?” you’d hum, nod your head and smile softly at him. “yes thank you for asking.” prompted by a kiss to his check.
- casually boops your nose at random moments. yes he makes the noise too.
-lays his head in your lap when he’s tired. (might write a little fic base on this ^)
-plays you songs that remind him of you and makes you playlists of songs he’ll think you would like.
- he’ll rest his arm on top of your head to annoy you. (i honestly hate when people do this to me because it does happen. but i would love it if wil ever did it to me lol)
-intense eye contact. you would be rambling about something totally random or telling him something funny that tommy did and he’ll just get lost looking into your eyes and listening to your voice. eyes so big and brown, so full of love. You know in these moments he’s listening to you so intently and it makes you feel so loved.
-taking your plate to the sink for you after dinner and helping you clean up.
-coming up behind you while you’re talking to someone else, wrap his arms around your waist and rest his chin on your shoulder indicating he wants attention from you. is 100% jealous of the other person you’re giving it too.
-tells you he loves you at random times during the day or night. sitting together quietly doing your own respective things, he nudges you and tells you; “i love you.” instant butterflies.
-kisses your knuckles when you or him have yo separate for whatever reason, even if its for a few minutes. like he has to go do soundcheck hell throw his head back with a groan and lift your hand up to his lips and leave a lingering kiss against them. all while making eye contact with you.
-when he goes on walks he will find random little things like, pebbles, acorns, flowers that make him think of you. you have a trinket box full of these kinds of things from him.
-gently squeezes your hand three times when he holds it.
i need to stop before i do too much lol

I haven't been online for a while due to lack of time, as well some personal issues, but I just want to say that i obviously don't condone all of the abuse William Gold made Shelby endure. I stand with Shelby, and anyone who does otherwise, unfollow me immediately.
In regards to the characters Wilbur and Quackity from dream SMP, I have absolutely no idea what to do about it all. They've felt more like my characters ever since the end of their direct interactions on dsmp anyway, and frankly almost all of the content I've produced of them is significantly more so based off of me and my partner (however "cringe" that sounds), so it's a difficult situation for me. I won't be deleting any of my posts or art. I don't know what I'll be doing with all of the content I've made but haven't posted, which includes a couple chapters of the Losing Face rewrite. I might turn cQ and cWilbur into actual original characters. I've been thinking about doing a complete redesign either way - the only immediate issue I have is the names, as I can't think of anything that'd fit. If I end up figuring it out, I might try to turn the rewrite of Losing Face into an original story, but that's gonna be very difficult, considering the context needed for the story is Dream SMP lore. The fic is also structured around William Gold's song, which I'll have to obviously change too, if I end up doing anything with it.
If any other tnt duo artists have any thoughts regarding how to tastefully handle this, I'd appreciate it, as honestly, I can't say I'm not still hyperfixated, unfortunately.
For now I'll most likely just see how the situation develops, and decide when my personal life is less of a mess. This whole shit show has hit a little too close to home with my current issues too, so I'll be frank, I don't think I'll be posting anything, regardless of whether it's tnt duo or not.
Anyway, stay safe everyone, and let me know what you think about how i could figure this pickle out
Update: as of now I've decided I'll most likely just keep on creating content of the characters which have belonged to the fandom for years now. The situation with my fic is more complicated, since not just the title is named after the song Losing Face, but also each chapter is named after the song's lyrics, and each of those has been carefully fitted to represent the plot of the chapter. I don't think I feel comfortable with that anymore, and I will have to rework the pacing to fit a different song (I haven't yet decided what song exactly).

I've seen people say you can't compare the QSMP to the DSMP because they're both completely different servers with different starts.
The thing is you can compare them. Not the stories told themselves because of course they're going to be different as they're 2 servers with different starts with 2 nearly completely different sets of people.
You can compare the treatment of the creators by the fandom, players (other cc on the server) and admins though.
Foolish for example. He made SO many amazing high quality builds to use and be shown to people. Ranboo and Tubbo had him build a giant mansion for them to live in! Yet it was entered maybe once after being finished. Foolish was able to use his builds for his own lore maybe once. Only a few people like Bad really acknowledged them by messing around in the area of them or adding something easy to get rid of to them as jokes.
Bad's treatment on the DSMP was frustrating to watch. He was the butt of the joke every time he was around. People would constantly swear on his streams because it was so funny for them! They constantly destroyed his and Skeppy's house and griefed the front of it. No one other than his friends really listened to him about things. And the egg arc was supposed to be something that was a massive danger to the server! But how does the server and fandom not directly involved treat it? Like a joke. Bad and his friends clearly worked really hard on this arc to include more than just the 'main characters' and their small circle, yet it was brushed off as if nothing by the players and fandom, treated like it was stupid.
Quackity's lore just kinda- happened. There isn't much I can say as I don't remember a lot of it tbh which isn't a great sign.
Philza and Wilbur probably got the better end of the stick for lore due to being connected to the main lorr, but it still wasn't great for them either.
A lot of CCs not on the QSMP have mentioned how the communication for the server was terrible too. At the start of lore on the DSMP, it made sense as they were purely doing improve so there wasn't really anyone to run things through. But the fact the issue was bad the entire time made the CCs on the server feel ignored and not want to play on it.
It was rare for people to interact with others outside their already established circles unless they're friends outside the server.
Now with the QSMP
Foolish has built multiple things on the server and has been acknowledged by everyone at this point. Bad might mess with them a lot still and encourage others to join him but you can tell the respect people still have for each one. Vagetta wants a version of the statue Foolish built him on other servers. People and fandom admire his builds and always make sure that if there's any damage to it, it's easily undone. Cellbit has made the castle Foolish built him his home the moment it was finished, he's been using it since. He paid him fully and made sure he was fully supplied and had company while building, staying on for hours to talk to him as he built.
Bad is respected by everyone on the server. He's taken seriously by everyone. Everyone trusts him with their kid's lives. Phil asks Bad to babysit Tallulah and Chayanne if he can't. The french trust Bad more than anyone outside their language group. Forever trusts Bad the most on the server other than Baghera. If someone needs something they'll go to him. All the eggs love him and so does the fandom. He's part of the joke instead of the butt of it. He can laugh along with the jokes made, even ones directed at him. When people swear on his streams and he languages them, they immediately apologize and switch to one of Bad's replacements (fudge being the main one) and no one makes fun of it either! They don't start swearing relentlessly at him to annoy him.
Even though Quackity doesn't show up often, when he does people are happy to interact with him and update him on what's happened if he wants it.
People can be off the server for weeks without being isolated because they're not keeping up with major lore, especially as people are happy to update anyone on anything they want to know. Hell people can be on a lot without being involved in lore but still be included as much as anyone else! As soon as there's a threat to the eggs or a new way to protect them, it spreads to everyone like wildfire and everyone's taken it on within a week.
The new arrivals are always welcomed by the islanders already there. They support them and treat with the same respect they do with everyone else. They merge with everyone else nearly immediately and become part of the community without hesitation.
The communication with the admins is clearly amazing too. Philza has pointed out how appreciated he feels compared to other servers. When an egg dies unfairly they're quick to get back to them within hours. If there's a general issues they're quick to get back to them and fix things. People are allowed to have their own stories alongside the main one. Events are planned and discussed so everyones aware before it happens. Anyone who wants to take part is welcome to if it's a big thing due to how open they usually are (rescuing Cellbit and Felps, travelling to Bobby's death site, etc). Thinfs are adapted and changed when needed and all CCs are in the loop.
Being able to watch the QSMP and not feel like any POV I watch is being mistreated or ignored is great. I couldn't watch anything but lore streams with the DSMP because Bad was my main POV and it made me so uncomfortable to watch him being made fun of constantly and be treated as a joke.
The QSMP feels like a community of people, instead of factions trying to go against each other. DSMP was my first and only smp experience and while it was great at first, it quickly soured. The QSMP treats it's CCs and fandom as if they genuinely matter, making sure everyone is welcomed and no one is isolated.

While waiting in line to take your order at a burger restaurant, Wilbur wraps his arms around your waist from behind & rests his chin on your hairline. "Aww," Ranboo says softly. Tommy & Charlie make loud barfing sounds, which causes everybody to look your way. Philza laughs hysterically at all of this.
During the editing process, Tommy would try & annoy or distract you
Wilbur would probs go to you for video ideas if they had creative blocks

Morning Wood - Wilbur Soot x Male! Reader
Tumblr media
M/n woke up with some kisses on his shoulder, his skin still uncovered from the rough actions of the last night. He slowly opens his eyes, taking note that this is his boyfriend's lips and hands touching him so comfortably. He moves his hips back to Wilbur, bouncing slowly on Wilbur's morning wood. He gasps, smiling and moving his hand back to touch his cock, stroking it softly with his hands as weaker as he can because of his sleepy nature.
"Good morning for you too.." He giggles quietly.
Wilbur takes off M/n's hands of his cock, getting above him and starting to touch himself as he takes the lubricant of the drawer and splits it on his hand. He spread two of his fingers to thrust inside his boyfriend's hole, it was still kinda wet and lazy from the last night, so Wilbur didn't wait much before he replaces his fingers by his cock and gets inside him, putting the tip there and letting M/n get used to it again.
As M/n nods and closes his eyes with pleasure and laziness, Wilbur starts to move more fast, going deeper inside his boy. They both quickly became two messes of sleepy moans and yawns. Wilbur smirks and kisses M/n, wrapping his arms calmly around the boy, his hips moving in a comfortable way.
M/n grinds his cock on Wilbur stomach, reaching for his own pleasure even with the big cock inside him touching roughly his prostate. He closes his legs and squeeze them together, making his hole get tightly wrapped around Wilbur's cock, causing him to moan a little loud.
"Shhh.." M/n cups Wilbur's cheeks, bringing him closer for another lazy kiss. He whimpers slow and low, his dry cum freely painting Wilbur's body. It doesn't last long as Wilbur does the same, putting more of his seed inside of his boyfriend..

And… even MORE Hatchetverse Theory on the history between Webby and her brothers
Based on my earlier poll about the potential history between Webby and her brothers. I'll go through each option and discuss the merits of each theory as well as they ways they could be combined.
The rest of my posts are under "#hatchetverse theory". Read below for an unhinged rant.
Before I dive into the possibilities for what history could exist between the brothers and Webby, I first want to review what little we know about their relationship and why I focus so much on Webby and Wiggly's relationships specifically as opposed to Webby and the other LIB:
We don't know their birth order, but based on the fact Wiggly acts as the leader of the LIB with little resistance from his brothers and Webby's verse in "the web I spin for you" where she talks about her brothers teaching her, currently the most common head canon seems to be that Wiggly is the oldest and Webby is the youngest (I also head canon that the reason Wiggly uses "baby talk" is because that's how he talked to his newborn siblings, and he never grew out of it because he enjoys infantilizing anyone and everyone).
The LIB all seem to want humanity to suffer for different reasons, but out of all of them, Wiggly seems to have the most interesting motivation. Blinky and Nibbly's motivations seems to be the most straightforward: Blinky likes to watch people suffer; Nibbly is hungry. Pokey just wants to put on a one man show and get rid of everyone else that's not him (he's basically an insane version of Hidgens with absolute power), and Tinky just seems to like messing around with time and specifically has it in for the Spankoffskis, but it's unclear exactly why. Wiggly however doesn't just seem to enjoy suffering and chaos just for the sake of his own pleasure. He has Wilbur give a whole speech in Black Friday about capitalism and consumer culture, and none of the other LIB have seemed interested in monologuing about the sins of humanity thus far. Granted, I still have to catch up on Nightmare Time (I know, I'm awful), but I didn't read anything about Nibbly bothering to give a speech about gluttony right before he eats someone.
Additionally, Wiggly is also the one who demands the the teens in NPMD give up what they love the most. Nibbly just wants a snack. The LIB's song also says "Nibbly wants his sacrifice and Wiggly wants his wrath". Wrath? Revenge? Revenge for what? And why just Wiggly, why not all the LIB? It really sounds like Wiggly is the one who is primarily trying to gain something here. Wiggly's brothers seem to be following him because they get what they want, but Wiggly seems to be the driving force here.
Now the question becomes: what does Wiggly want revenge for, and why? Well, several people have pointed out that despite Webby being called a "queen", the LIB are called "lords" (though Wiggly insists on wearing a plastic child's dress up crown to make himself look like a king). There's also a line in the summoning where the LIB sing "we dance around the pentagram and take all out kingdoms back". It's possible Webby took their kingdoms from them, or that they betrayed her to take power if they believed the way she was running things wasn't to their liking, but again, this is unclear.
What does seem more clear is that Wiggly does have a personal grudge against Webby and that the feeling is mutual. He calls her a "stupid b*tch" in Black Friday, whereas Pokey in Nightmare Time only calls her his sister, and I don't think any of the other LIB had demonstrated that level of hatred towards her yet. During the song "The Web I Spin for You", it is clear by the dolls shown in the shots that Webby is singing about her brothers, but the camera focuses in on Wiggly last and holds on him the longest.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So then the question becomes: what happened between Wiggly and Webby? Who betrayed who? Did they both betray each other? What seems the most likely based on what little we know so far?
Let's dive into those poll options.
The first option on the poll was that the Lords in Black used to be good, but turned evil. I was surprised at how few votes this option got given some of the evidence presented in NPMD and "The Web I Spin for You" song that Webby sings in Nightmare Time. I'll spend some time reviewing the evidence for this, since it seems to be the least popular option and some of the evidence for this option could also apply to the others.
There are lines in the song that imply the LIB used to care about Webby, to some degree. It's unclear whether this means they were actually "good guys", but it seems like they either cared about Webby or Webby at least believed they cared about her at some point, most notably when she sings: "You used to keep me at your side, have you given it up?" and "Weren’t you the one to watch my back, unlike the witches you summon?" (which could be referring to Willabella Muckwab, the first witch of Hatchetfield who seems to have started this whole mess).
Webby seems frustrated with her brothers, but doesn't seem to hate them, at least not as viscerally as Wiggly hates her (again, he's the one who seems the most angry at her).
But it doesn't stop there. There's a few other lines in "The Web I Spin For You" that are even more concerning:
The lines I'm referring to are: "Why do you haunt me like a ghost? You’re supposed to love me the most." And "Got me in the spell you cast. The iris of your eye is black. You have a tendency to stab my back. Just like the witches you summon."
The backstabbing line implies that they betrayed her, not the other way around. But the lines chosen to convey this are particularly concerning when you consider two things: 1) the plot to NPMD and 2) the pictures of the black book and the black blade I found on the Starkid Wiki page (posted below).
Tumblr media
There seem to be numbers marking the positioning of the knife, numbers which appear on other pages from the book on the Starkid Wiki page, but you can look at that yourself. Now, what IS interesting here is the picture. Five people in black robes, one holding a knife, his point taller than the rest like the book illustrates, and the knife is positioned in such a way that it could quite literally stab the woman in white in the back, just like Webby's song says.
Other interesting notes about the picture are that the hair of the woman is red (could still be Webby, maybe her hair changed color, or Miss. Holloway, more on her later), and it's possible the woman is wearing the baseball cap Hannah wore in Black Friday (or it could be a fold of the guy's robe, it's hard to see in the photo).
But back to my main point: why would the other LIB be stabbing Webby in the back, or as the song says "have her in the spell they cast?"
Well, I see two reasons. One is more visual, the other much darker.
The first is that the LIB sing about "dancing around a pentagram". In the black book picture, Webby, or whoever the woman in white is, seems to be placed in the middle of the pentagram.
So that's the visual reason: Webby is in the middle of the "Spells they cast" because that's physically where she's located.
Now for the darker reason, one some of you have probably already guessed, because I referred the Summoning in NPMD. You know, the part where Wiggly demands they kids give up the thing they love most for power?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well. Remember the "Why do you haunt me like a ghost? You’re supposed to love me the most." line from the web I spin for you?
It's possible that if Webby was at one point what the LIB loved most, they could have sacrificed her to gain some sort of power.
It could also explain why Wiggly hates her so much. Maybe he also hates himself. Or hates Webby for making him feel like he had to do that. Or at least try to do that, still unclear if he attempted this, or what succeeding would even mean since Webby and the LIB seem to be immortal.
Now the evidence against this theory seems to be the fact that if Wiggly was really the one to sacrifice (or attempt to sacrifice) Webby (for the sake of, apparently, summoning witches for unknown reasons), why would he act like he's the one who needs revenge and be so angry at Webby when he betrayed her? Well, it's possible that he believes she betrayed him first, or that betraying her corrupted the LIB, similar to what happened to Grace in NPMD (but more on that in another post).
Now for the second option: that Webby used to be evil. The evidence for this is fairly straightforward, which is probably why it's the most popular poll option:
Wiggly wants revenge and hates Webby, her betraying her brothers and turning good lines up with this
The LIB have never acted benevolently or shown any genuine concern for others, whereas Webby has done semi-morally questionable things (she kills the witch Willabella Muckwab in nightmare time because she tried to hurt Hannah, but Willabella Muckwab was a bad guy who'd been dead for centuries so make of that what you will)
Webby sings about the LIB teaching her, but her becoming disillusioned and turning against them, her developing a love for humanity also lines up with this
It's still possible that the LIB attempted to sacrifice Webby as discussed above, her turning good was possibly the catalyst for this course of action
The main source of evidence against this theory is we don't know what would have caused Webby to turn good. She seems to care about children (more on that later) and not like what her brothers do with the witches they create (and then there's the mess of how Miss. Holloway fits into all this), but beyond that, it's unclear, but still one of the most plausible theories in my opinion and the fandom seems to agree with me on this one.
The next two poll options: Webby and the LIB were always on their respective sides of the Black and White, but used to be closer, or they selected opposite sides of the Black and White and that drove them apart.
Both of these seem to line up with the evidence presented thus far. The first option would explain why Wiggly and Webby feel betrayed by each other without having to change much about their characters. The second option makes sense in that it explains their conflict.
The main way these two options differ is whether Webby and the LIB were "always this way" or whether they ever had a choice. Both seem compelling, especially when you consider Wiggly's (via Wilbur) whole humanity hating Black Friday speech and Webby's care for Hannah and complicated feelings towards her brothers. If the siblings were always like this, is their room for them to change? If they chose the sides they did, why did they do so and can they change back?
The last two poll options (not counting the "other"): The sides of the Black and White Webby and her brothers are one were chosen for them or that this is somehow their parent's fault.
I put these two together because the issues with the "sides of the Black and White" being chosen for them option is: who is doing the choosing? The mostly likely possibility for this seems to be their parent (maybe parents?)
The LIB call themselves the "spawn of the Black and White", so for now let's call their parents "the Black and White". They seem to have parents, at least according to the Starkid wikipages, which state that "The Lords in Black were spawned from the same deed of evil. Their father was a giant chaos entity," and the credit of this comes from an interview with the characters' creator. I personally don't know how to verify this, so let's say it's true. What was this "deed of evil?" How is Webby their sister, was she spawn from this too? Will we ever meet their parents?
Overall, I'd say these options are possible, but given that we don't know much about their parents or the nature of the Black and White, it's hard to draw a solid conclusion.
Finally, some other unknowns about Webby and her brothers that I find interesting:
The "Starry Children" Stuff and Webby and the LIB's relationship with Children:
The LIB's followers call themselves the Church of the Starry Children, and as I pointed out before, the symbol of the LIB seems to be a star, with the LIB in the triangles and Webby in the middle, at least according to the illustrations. What's unclear is who the starry children are. Is this the name of the followers of the LIB OR is it Webby and the LIB themselves? The show might have already said this at some point and I missed it, but Webby and her brother often act very childish and playful (although often in ominous ways). This plus the fact that they apparently have parents could point to them being literal children.
Wiggly and Webby seem to have opposite relationships with children. Wiggly's Black Friday spell doesn't work on kids. Willabella Muckwab is said to have written the black book with the blood of innocents kids (again, based on the wiki page). Webby on the other hand seems to have a closer relationship with children (most clearly shown in her relationship with Hannah). You can argue that Wiggly does interact with children in NPMD, but they're technically teenagers, and as Grace says repeatedly throughout the show "they're only 18."
The Relationship Webby and the LIB have with Witches:
"The Web I Spin for You" implies Webby's brothers keep summoning witches that try to hurt her and "The Witch in the Web" implies that Webby keeps "spinning webs" to capture and stop these witches from hurting others. This lines up with everything we know about Willabella and most of the other witches and followers of the LIB.
Where this pattern seems to break is Wilbur Cross and Miss. Holloway. How is Miss. Holloway able to use the black book without being in debt to the LIB? Does she serve Webby like Wilbur serves Wiggly? Miss. Holloway also seems to care about children, again contrasting to the way Wilbur tries to hurt them. Does that mean anything? Why isn't Wilbur caught in Webby's trap like the others, and why does he keep coming back? Why do the LIB need Wilbur anyway? Why were Miss. Holloway and Wilbur chosen for these roles? Is it because Miss. Holloway encountered the White of the Black and White similar to how Wilbur encountered the Black? Or is it because the LIB and Webby just really liked their southern accents and were going for the "southern small town preacher" vibe?
I hope you like this rant. Thank you Starkid fandom!

I'm still thinking about Richas' underlying separation anxiety. He doesn't like taking pictures without his dads; he hates the idea of another egg being adopted into his family bc he feels as if it's taking his dads from him; he is always online but never doing a project by himself like Ramon and his elevator, instead always hanging around family (Decorating with Bad or Cellbit or Pac & Mike, exploring with Roier or Forever, digging with Felps); and not even staying asleep for long, always running to be with someone
Even if he's not the egg with biggest % of dad disappearance (Tallulah is leading with 100% no dad), he is the one that suffered through it the most. Wilbur is gone, yeah, but Tallulah is finally able to heal from this pain and accept that Phil is also her dad. Spreen was a mess of a father and Ramon feels comfort in Fit, Bad, Cellbit and the TC boys
Richas has to go through his dads constantly being taken from him over and over. First Felps, then Cellbit, and when he thought everything was alright, Quackity was taken and replaced by a stranger. Mike and Pac are under threat of going down same path. He didn't had the time to heal at all. And this is shown in his extreme jealousy with his dads. Even a sniff of feeling threatened and Richa is already triggered, getting angry and upset
I think Felps is the only dad that never joked/commented on adopting another egg. He loves when Richas is around and does his best to run after lost time (Digging a big square is also a bonding activity). I like to think that Felps understands Richas' fear when not even Richa himself fully understands it, it makes sense to me

// mention of past death, mention of past abuse, panic attacks
Ghost/Foster AU where ten year old Tommy has a frighteningly long record.
It’s strange. The kid’s just… shy. Sure, he talks to himself, laughs once in a while, stares like he’s seeing something Phil can’t.
And then Phil starts seeing them, too. Ghosts.
*Twin* ghosts.
It starts with reflections.
Phil’s showing the kid around, trying his best to be gentle. The kitchen, the living room, Tommy’s own room. Then, the bathroom.
But for a heartbeat, there’s two too many faces in the mirror.
Phil ignores it — of course he does. This kid needs love & attention, and it’s gone from Phil’s mind in moments.
But it keeps happening.
Techno and Wilbur.
Those are the names Phil hears Tommy repeat — not strange names for imaginary friends. And they clearly make him happy, it’s the only time Phil’s ever heard him laugh.
Until the one time he whispers them in fear.
It’s the first time Phil’s gotten upset.
“A fight, Tommy?” he says, brow furrowed as Tommy curls up in the kitchen chair. “Why? You could’ve gotten *hurt,* god, why—”
“Techno, help.”
Tommy’s whisper stops Phil dead.
And then a mug topples from the counter and shatters.
Tommy’s fled to his room before it even hits the ground.
Phil lets him go. Cleans up the mess, even makes a cup of cocoa for Tommy, hoping to soothe his nerves.
(Even if Phil’s nerves are the *opposite* of soothed, as he catches the flicker of a face in the liquid.)
“Tommy, I made you some—”
“Do you think he was actually going to hurt me?”
Phil freezes outside the door. It’s Tommy’s voice, shaky & weak. Phil’s heart breaks, just a little. *Talking to himself, again—*
“Toms, it’s… it’s not worth the risk.”
*There’s someone in there.*
“Tommy,” Phil shouts, wrenching the doorknob. It doesn’t budge — despite *not having a lock.* “Tommy, who’re you talking to? Open the door—”
The door flies open. Tommy’s sitting on his bed.
Alone.
That’s far from the last strange thing that happens.
The reflections are common now. Not the same face, as Phil thought — sure, there’s subtle differences, but they appear together. Phil keeps ignoring them, still trying to help Tommy feel safe.
And then the warnings start.
*Hurt him and you’re dead.*
*Leave him alone.*
*Don’t you fucking touch him.*
Written in mist on glass, etched in wood, scrawled on paper, disappearing when Phil blinks.
“Tommy?” Phil whispers once. “I’d never hurt him.”
A beat of silence. Then, *Liar.*
Who cares if they’re hallucinations — Phil does all he can to prove them wrong.
He comforts Tommy, giving him extra blankets & sweaters for the strange cold that seems to follow him. Hugs him, ignoring the furious (terrified?) faces in a nearby reflection.
And then they snap.
Tommy’s having a panic attack, crumpled in the middle of the living room.
“Hey, mate. It’s okay,” Phil says, keeping his voice soft. He takes a step towards Tommy, hands reaching out—
Something shoves him back.
Something Phil can’t see.
“Don’t,” Tommy chokes out — to the spectral force or Phil, he can’t tell.
And apparently, neither can they.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” Phil says, flinching as something shatters. Tommy cries out, curling tighter as glass breaks beside him. “Tommy, no—”
Fuck the force holding him back. Phil leaps for Tommy, throwing his arms protectively over the kid.
And something *screams.*
Two 'somethings'.
“No, no, get off of him—”
“Don’t hurt him, you fucker, get *off*—”
Two voices, equally enraged. Equally *panicked?* Phil can’t tell through the smashing of glass, through Tommy’s panicked cries as Phil curls tighter around him.
(And the twins keep fighting until they can’t. Until the living room’s in ruins.
They can’t see the protective embrace for what it is, as foster kids who’d never gotten anything close to affection in their too-short lives.
And they can’t watch another brother die.)
.
.
.
“You didn’t hurt him.”
Wilbur’s voice is watery, quiet. Phil glances away from the little shards of glass he’d pulled from his skin, meeting the ghost’s eyes in the bathroom mirror.
“I promised. I’d never.”
“You… protected him,” Techno murmurs.
(From *us,* goes unsaid, as two pairs of glowing eyes drift to the pile of glass to Phil’s battered skin.)
“I always will.”
“Why?”
“Because I love him?”
Phil’s heart aches as he glances in the mirror, watching Techno & Wilbur’s faces contort with… grief.
But it’s even more gutwrenching to hear, “Then you should send us away.”
“What?”
“Salt,” Techno says. He might not be alive, but his breath still catches. “Or iron. Fill the house with it, and— and we’ll leave.”
(You can kick us out, the twins think.
As former foster kids… they’re used to it.)
“It’s not just him.”
Phil keeps his voice quiet, turning his gaze back to his wounds — wounds that the twins had caused, terrified and yet achingly protective.
“What?” Wilbur finally asks, hesitant.
“I don’t just love him.”
Confusion. Hesitance. Uncertainty. Phil watches every emotion cross the twins’s faces, even if it breaks his heart.
“You have a place here, too,” he says. “I know you want to protect Tommy, but… you don’t have to. I’ll protect him.”
He smiles, tearing up.
“I’ll protect you.”
(It’s a promise the twins barely let themselves believe.
But Phil keeps it. They’re just as cherished as Tommy, their presence always wanted — whether invisible or not. They’re safe.
It’s all they ever wanted in life.
And though it’s a bit late, it’s still perfect.)

Superstarbur smut/headcannons, where reader is like super shy, like embarrassingly shy- where she fumbles over her words and quite literally struggles to even speak to Will. Oh, but Wilbur would eat that behavior up- hell, he’d probably even praise it just to see her turn five different shades of pink.

Who else could I possibly do this for except Wilbur? And does this even count as fluff?
Pairing: Cc!Wilbur x Gn!Reader
Flufftober 28 - History has its eyes on you
Tumblr media
Wilbur’s hunched over a map, furiously scribbling on it. The sight makes you wince. Not because he’s defiling a priceless map of the country—he is—but because of what a mess he looks like. Unkempt hair spills wildly into his eyes, glasses smudged and dirty. His usual elegance and fashion is nowhere to be seen, leaving him in simple pants and a mismatched sweater.
You’ve been at war for 131 days, going on 132, and he’s been like this for all of them. It’s what war does to someone in charge, you assume. The leader of a country that was fighting for its life.
Everyone expects your country, and him, to lose. Wilbur’s determined not to let that happen.
“I brought tea.” You announce, setting the cup directly on top of the map.
“Thanks.” He murmurs distractedly, reaching for it and taking a drink. Wilbur pauses, narrowing his eyes and looking up at you. “This is—“
“Chamomile.” You confirm for him. “You need sleep, Wil.”
“I need to be strategizing. I need to be right here, doing everything I can.”
This is a familiar routine. In the midst of war, you enjoyed these familiar things. New and old.
“You’re of no help if you run yourself to death. A nap, Wil.”
“I really should start making you call me by title.” He grumbles, unmoving.
“And I really should start just dragging your ass to bed.”
Rounding the table, you stand next to him to stare at what he’s looking at. You manage more of the financial side of things, not the actual fighting, so all the lines and marks look like nonsense to you.
“I’m thinking we need to defend here more heavily. Our exports rely on it.” Wilbur taps a city along the water with his pencil end. There’s already loads of marks around the spot. “But that’s leaving this spot open. We can fill it by delegating soldiers from here, but we’re spread thin then.”
He was going to drive himself to the brink of insanity.
“Just take a break, please.” You implore. Although you’ve been regularly bringing him meals and water, sleep is a necessity too. “A nap. Two hours. I’ll even wake you.”
“Do you have any idea how many places can fall in two hours?”
“None, because your generals are the very best. Trust them.”
Wilbur scowls at nothing in particular, making you sigh.
“Let someone else take the reins for now.” You coax, hoping you’ll be making it somewhere.
“History has its eyes on me, not anyone else. Their failures are my failures.” He retorts.
You’ve known him since childhood, yet never would’ve imagined him in this situation. In charge of a country at war.
“History can wait.”
His head snaps up, and he finally turns his entire body towards yours. “No it can’t! We’re making it right now, and we need to…”
Wilbur trails off as you wrap your arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug. After a long moment he relaxes into it, dropping his head on your shoulder and wrapping his arms around your waist.
“I can’t leave my country without me.” He murmurs into your ear.
“You won’t.” You promise. “I’ll get work done while you sleep, how about that?”
“Not for long.” He argues. Somewhere along the way, this turned into a negotiation rather than begging. You’ll take the progress.
“Eight hours.”
“One.”
“Five.”
“Two.”
“Five.”
“Three, and that’s final.”
“Deal.” Three is more than you expected from him, so you’ll take it. “Now, respectfully, get your ass out of here and into bed.”
Wilbur laughs softly into your shoulder. You can feel his smile pressed against your skin, which, in turn, makes you smile.
“Just another minute of this?” He implores quietly.
“Anything that you need.”
History does have its eyes on Wilbur, and unfairly so. But you’ll make certain his name in the history books will be gilded with gold, esteemed highly.
After a deep breath, Wilbur pulls away and straightens. He gives a longing glance back at his map, one you intercept immediately.
“No.” You deadpan. “Go.”
“And here I thought I had the highest position.” He grumbles, heading towards the door. He pauses there, looking back at you. “Thank you.”
“I’m not your best friend for nothing, Wil.” You reply softly.
He nods his head, then vanishes. You look around the room, taking in the multiple dull pencils and maps. There’s maps on the floor even, making your cringe. You said you’d get work done while he slept, and you will.
But first, you’ll clean this mess up for him.

Fresh Starts
In which: Wilbur moves in next door, and readers child does something a little different
A/n: this is a random dadbur drabble/blurb based on this prompt list (prompt five). I'm going to add this to the masterlist in a while (after I wake up and get out of bed).
Chapter info: Single parent reader, single parent Wilbur, he has a daughter and reader has a daughter (I can only write girls 😭), mentions of parents leaving, doubt, let me know if I said "mum" in it and I'll change it.
Pronouns: Mention of they/them, mainly you/yours
Masterlist:
You doubted yourself. Simple as that. Before you had your daughter, you didn't know if you could ever do what's best for her. But the minute you saw her wonderful face and beautiful smile, you knew you were going to do your best, even if it was the bare minimum.
He doubted himself. How was he going to look after the carbon-copy of himself? After his girlfriend left him, he didn't know how he was going to help the young one. But everytime he saw his daughters face, he knew he was going to do something.
When your daughter grew up and gained some traction in the world, she was unstoppable. "Come on! I'm going to be late for school!" She would yell each morning at exactly 7:45 in the morning. "Yes, sweets," You'd say, finishing tying her shoes up, and off she ran down the stairs of the apartment complex.
As soon as his daughter was grown up and exploring the world, he was never going to be able to stop her. "Dad! Dad! Come on! You're going to be late for the studio!" She'd remind him of his daily task as they were in a rush, and tried to calm his nerves. "We're almost there. You can see the boys soon," He'd finish, pulling up out the front of the studio.
The front desk lady, or your bestfriend, had told you there was someone moving in next door. 'Next door?' You'd thought. 'But that's where my daughter loves to play?' You'd ramble again. "But next door? What's she going to do?" You questioned, motioning to your daughter. "Oh, she'll be fine. The man has a daughter of his own, and he'll completely understand if he sees a little girl wandering in through his door," And that was the first impression Wilbur would get of you.
His daughter was grabbing at his pants leg, desperately wanting to hide and get into their room, but he had to talk to the front desk lady before doing so, so he slung her over his hip and held her. "Is there anything else I should know?" He queried, knowing the need of his daughter's was growing. "One more thing. Your little one is getting a bit needy so I'll make it quick. There is an absolutely lovely person who has the flat on your right. They also have a daughter around the age of yours," He nodded, thanked her, and off they went. And the first thing he saw as he was unpacking was a small girl wandering through his door.
"Sweets? Where are you?" You said as you walked around your flat. You hadn't told her she couldn't go next door, as to not hurt her feelings, but your heart dropped when you heard a familiar giggle from the room over. Your daughter was with the man who'd never seen your face before. And that in itself scared you so much. Moving to the room over and slowly knocking on the door, a kind smile welcomed you.
"Darling? Where's your parents?" He'd asked your daughter, her smile dropping when she saw him, for more than one reason. A tall man with funny glasses, a messed up collar tucked underneath a grey sweater, and a beanie pulled over his mess of brown, curly hair. The giggle that spilled from her lips couldn't be anything other than joy as her fingers laced through his hair. He heard rushed footsteps, and a knock on the door soon after. Pulling your daughter up onto his hips, he told his own daughter, wherever she was, that he'd be back soon. He opened the door, and greeted your shorter figure with a warm, welcoming smile.
You stood at the doorway, introduced yourself as 'the girl he was holding's parent', all the while your daughter made grabby hands at you, whining when she didn't get held by you. "Oh sorry, probably should have given her back. I'm Wilbur, by the way," He introduced, handing your daughter back to you, and welcoming you through the door. You sat down at his half put together table and got comfortable.
"Uhm, hello, I'm the girl you're holding's parent, if that makes any sense," you introduced yourself. He noticed the girl's desperate grabby hands, and held her out to you, "Oh sorry, probably should have given her back. I'm Wilbur, by the way," He held out his hand behind his back and welcomed you through, and watched intently as you found a seat at his half built table.
Before you both knew it, you were both a daily occurrence in each other's lives. Whether it was passing each other in the hall, bumping into each other when dropping your daughter's off at school, having dinner at his flat, and watching him at studio while he recorded songs. You both knew each other more than you'd known any other person you'd met, and you both saw no end of the friendship, and even hoped it moved last a friendship.
You offered to help drop off his daughter when he had to go to studio early that morning, now that your daughter and his had gotten along, and he happily obliged, a weight lifted off his shoulders.
Finally having someone to be by his side and offering to help was such a blessing in his eyes. He absolutely adored your daughter and loved the way your eyes sparkled when she did something, whether it was big or small.
How long till you got to see him tonight? One hour. An hour until he was picking you up, driving you to the restaurant across Brighton and dropping your daughter's off at his studio. God, and this is like every rom-com you've ever watched. The man arrives early, you're not ready, he watches in disbelief at how stunning you are... But that isn't how it plays out. Even though he does arrive early, he waits patiently in the living room with the two girls, happily chatting along with them, until you walk out of your room. It's simple, a plain black shirt with white patterning scattered across it, a pair of jeans stuffed in the back of your closet, some random converse and your hair done up in plaits.
He was stressed. He said casual dress for the date, and here he was stressing over wearing a sweater and sweatpants. After running his hands over his sweater, through his hair, and along every smooth surface, he was finally ready to pick you up. Arriving earlier than planned, he knocked on the door and your daughter ran up to him, before running inside with his own. "Y/n, I'm here. Come out when you're ready," he called out, hearing your approval from the few rooms away. When you walked out, however, he had to register for a second what he was looking at. Yes, it was simple, and yes, probably not your best outfit, but you looked good in everything you wore.
Arriving home after the date, hearing Phil interacting with your children, Wilbur stopped you just before you walked inside. "I need to tell you something," He spoke.
"I need to tell you something," he spoke, awaiting your answer. "What's wrong?" God, he loved how you cared for him so much. "I want to go on another date with you. It's fine if you don't want to, and I don't mind, but I just need to do one more thing-" He finished his sentence, leaving forward, flicking his eyes to your lips for a split second, and he was filled with joy the minute your lips met his.
A little knock on the door, and a child running into your legs, you immediately pulled away. "Why were you kissing Dad?" Your little one asked, and your gaze flew to him to see what he thought.
His face was red as he heard the word 'Dad'. He'd never thought of himself as a dad. Could have never dreamed of it. But here he was, falling more in love with you and your child by the second. "Do y- you, uh, do you want me to be your d- dad?" He asked your daughter, only for clarification so he knew she meant it.
And off the little one went, standing on his feet and clinging to his pant leg "Yes please. They seem very happy when their with you, and I see the way you look at them. You love them, and I think they love you," and off he went asking you.
---
This was so shit and rushed but anywho... I'm starting a taglist so either dm me or request to be added to it.

Okay am I crazy or something because why do I see people referring to qQuackity as qWilbur’s husband like genuinely seriously despite:
Quackity not marrying Actual Wilbur and instead marrying Photo Wilbur
Quackity marrying Photo Wilbur during Festa Junina, which is known for its fake weddings
Wilbur hearing about the wedding when he came back and going “Well, I don’t feel married”
Tumblr media
Quackity’s feelings toward Wilbur regarding the ‘marriage’ basically being him projecting after Tilin’s death and while watching everyone around him find happiness where he could not, specifically Roier and Cellbit and possibly because Roier had just lost his own child but didn’t seem to be having all these problems Quackity had
Like if you go back and watch Q’s streams from this time, he even subtly admits that he doesn’t love Wilbur when he spoke to SOFIA
Wilbur wasn’t even his first choice! Etoiles was!
Wilbur not even knowing if he loves Quackity. He feels Emotions towards him, but he’s always refused to look any deeper because of his Issues (similar Issues to those he has regarding Tallulah, which is that he’s always going to be away on tour and can’t be there to love and care for his family the way they deserve to be loved)
And, lest we all forget, Quackity still might not entirely remember who Wilbur is because of his amnesia. (Granted, a lot of that seems to have been fixed by Spooky Cucurucho in Hell, but we don’t know the extent.)
So, with all this in mind, why do I see people getting legitimately upset when someone doesn’t include Quackity in Wilbur’s family as his husband?
And we’ve got to keep in mind that Wilbur’s only canon family is Phil, who he adopted as his father on the train, Tallulah, his daughter, and Chayanne, his half-brother. Techno and Tommy are family irl (because irl Wilbur Soot collects found family members like they’re Pokémon cards.)
So why do I see stuff like this?
Tumblr media
ElQuackity isn’t a canon brother, Q is quite possibly ElQ’s clone (or something like that.) Tilin always seemed to prefer the idea of Luzu being their father, and people have got to remember that Luzu IS canonically Tilin’s other parent. Pepito doesn’t even know Wilbur exists. And what about Quackity’s other son, Richarlyson? (Oh, wait, never mind, Richas is Brazilian, and a lot of the English fandom does Not like associating Quackity with the Brazilians on the server.)
Honestly, this all gives the same vibes as “Omg Wilbur can teach Q how to read again and they can live happily ever after with their ONLY CHILD Tallulah 🥰” and “Wilbur would know Quackity was replaced by ElQ immediately and he’d rescue Quackity because they’re in love and married” when that ignores actual canon dynamics
Anyway, this is all to say that you can ship what you want, but don’t let your fanon get in the way of everything else. Fanon is fine, but don’t get pissy when people say it isn’t canon, and please stop messing with the wiki to make it canon because it isn’t. And don’t harass people saying it isn’t canon, that’s fucked up

c!Dream and early aid for Pogtopia
(i promised this post so long ago rip)
There is a lot to say about c!Dream and the Pogtopia/Manberg era, especially because so many events in this period of time define the future of his character in very long-lasting ways. Much discussion has been focused particularly on the Vassal discussion and c!Dream's loyalties after--today, though, I want to focus on c!Dream's priorities before that discussion and what they might reveal about his goals.
First, I want to quickly link my post I made on c!Dream during the L'manburg Revolution, which establishes a few of the key c!Dreamisms that influence my read of him particularly pre-November 16th. Second, I want to point to a clip in the drodcast that emphasizes that the reason why c!Dream switched sides to Manberg was for the story's sake and in-universe therefore only happened because of the revive book deal, further indicating that the character had no prior intentions to turn against Pogtopia.
All that being said, there are a couple main points I want to make about (how I interpret) c!Dream in early Pogtopia.
c!Dream was already pretty obviously acting alone/isolated at the beginning of this arc
c!Dream was always genuine in his support for Pogtopia
There is more reason to believe in c!Dream's assertion that he wanted "L'manburg to be something" than the opposite
Starting wth point one, I think it's important to acknowledge how c!Dream emphasizes the idea of secrecy repeatedly during the beginnng of the Manberg/Pogtopia arc. He talks about how he has to provide support "from the shadows" in the Tyrant book, and he expresses similar sentiments when he gives supplies to c!Techno around this time as well. At the very least, when he was supplying aid at this point in time, he was pretty damn obviously acting alone--we see this as the arc progresses as well, when c!Dream helps c!Tommy in the Battle of the Lake and when he meets with Pogtopia during Vassal, for example.
Of course, acting alone doesn't necessarily mean isolation, although taking on a big + potentially dangerous task alone can lead to feelings of isolation regardless of that fact, but if we take a look at c!Dream at this time...sure he has friends, and people he's friendly with. But in terms of actual allies, he's kinda been on his own? c!George was decidedly part of Manberg due to the coalition at the start of the arc, and as far back as the Elections we see him claiming that he was "under Dream's rule" to explain that the decisions weren't his own in the Revolution.
Tumblr media
Even though c!George obviously does not have high opinions of Wilbur and Tommy and their whole deal re: independence, we also see that no one really protests when c!Dream is called the "leader of tyranny."
Tumblr media
And outside of this one debate, when we look at the actual events of the server...c!Dream enters into a few conflicts after the Revolution, all of which were not initiated by him. In these conflicts, he repeatedly has his items used as blackmail against him w/ the discs being the cited justification in a lot of cases (discs that were, once again, legally traded to him). And as far as these conflicts go, in terms of actual allies? There's really no one consistent at all? c!Sapnap outright teams with c!Tommy to get Dream's stuff until he turns on c!Tommy when he realizes opposing Dream isn't a good idea for him. c!Dream gets pulled into c!Sapnap's mess with the Pet Wars and therefore helps him hide their pets when the fight escalates--but at no point does c!Sapnap really outright support c!Dream in a conflict that involves him. c!Skeppy is also out here mostly in it for his own gain and was the one to steal Spirit's leather (from his. grave 😭) in the first place, like. Consistently, when c!Dream is involved in an actual conflict, he acts alone--before the Manberg/Pogtopia arc even begins. Mix in the fact that L'manburg was largely seen as an independent entity despite its technically being a part of the Dream SMP (and therefore Dream having to act accordingly) and the way that like the fandom, the L'manburg Revolution's aftermath brought in a lot of new members that further solidified the narrative in-universe (just like how a lot of new fans joined after the L'manburg Revolution, especially bc of the SAD-ist animation, which all served to solidify the l'manburg = heroes connection in the fandom as well) and the idea of c!Dream as the "bad guy" of the Revolution went relatively unchallenged (along with c!Eret, who obviously never shook the title of traitor.)
c!Dream was lacking in consistent allies and largely dealt with conflicts involving himself alone pre-Manberg/Pogtopia (gestures at how it's me and you against Dream was reiterated repeatedly), and when Manberg/Pogtopia began he had even more reason to act by himself. He was acting against the peace treaty by helping Wilbur and Tommy in Pogtopia, and a lot of the people he knew were friendly with or outright were a part of Manberg (George was a literal part of the government at the beginning, Karl was looking for wherever he could get an advantage, Sapnap is. Sapnap and shit was happening like the Battle of the Lake which literally involved kidnapping Niki, as well as other things)--c!Dream, at this point, is already used to working alone and had many reasons to continue doing so.
Onto point two: c!Dream was genuine in his support of Pogtopia throughout the arc until the point of the revive book deal. I want to point to the clip again from the drodcast, specifically how Dream says that before the conception of the revive book, c!Dream "literally switched for no reason we had no reason for me to switch [outside of the revive book]." This, plus the fact that what canonically does end up driving the decision to "switch sides" by publicly supporting c!Schlatt on November 16th is the literal revive book, all points to how c!Dream wasn't exactly going to side with c!Schlatt easily. It literally takes the whole ass revive book, the item that shatters his view of reality with its implications and was one of the central reasons why he had a paranoid spiral that involved him cooking up the prison for him to consider being on Schlatt's side.
Oftentimes, the arguments around c!Dream in this era and how he was manipulating the situation for his own gain boil down to two main moments where an assertion is made that c!Dream was playing both sides to make them destroy each other, those being Vassal and his speech to c!Eret on November 16th.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first excerpt, Vassal, happened in early October, and the latter comes from the famous conversation c!Dream has with c!Eret on November 16th. And from these two excerpts, it can seem reasonable to believe that c!Dream's intentions were in the realm of helping both sides destroy each other, especially considering his saying that his plan is "there is no Manberg, there's no L'manburg, there's no Pogtopia, there's just Dream SMP an there's Dream SMP everywhere." But--regardless of whether or not you believe this statement, regardless of whether or not he wanted L'manburg gone from the beginning of this arc, it's undeniable that his actions do not support the claim that he was always planning to help Manberg to sabotage both sides.
The only reason why c!Dream helps c!Schlatt, and by extension Manberg, was the revive book. And this is made quite explicit both in and out of character. This man was calling Manberg L'manburg to Manberg's goddamn cabinet, for god's sake. As soon as the deal with the Election results go down, c!Dream aligns himself with Pogtopia. He supplies Manberg no aid until after the revive book deal and literally warns Pogtopia when he switches sides???? Even the claim that he wanted the two entities to destroy each other doesn't reflect the reality of him knowing that destruction would come at c!Wilbur's hands from the TNT, not from the fight between Manberg/Pogtopia in itself.
Even if you proceed with the reading that c!Dream wanted L'manburg dead and gone and wanted that from the beginning, he quite clearly was helping Pogtopia against Manberg in order to facilitate his goals and was not helping c!Schlatt until the revive book forced his hand.
The third point is the one most up for debate/based on interpretation, but I believe that, based on the information we have, it is more reasonable to believe that at the beginning of Manberg/Pogtopia c!Dream had no plans for the total destruction of L'manburg and didn't necessarily see that as one of his end goals for the server than to say that the opposite is true.
For one, going back to the revolution, c!Dream--even then--didn't have total annihilation of L'manburg as his end goal. He goes into that war knowing that he would give them "technical independence"--allowing them to exist as an entity, hell, allowing them to have 'independence' in some form (although obviously he finds the whole "we are our own server now actually" situation ridiculous). If there was ever any time to pursue the total destruction of L'manburg as an entity, it would've been then, before L'manburg was ever firmly established.
If we take c!Dream purely at his word (a dubious thing to do for sure, obviously, mans is a liar--but at the same time, c!Dream at that time was also a man that was known to generally keep his end of the deal) then c!Dream's motives at the beginning of Pogtopia are quite clear: the Tyrant book establishes the reasons why he opposes c!Schlatt, that he was able to maintain peace with L'manburg but did not feel that the same could be true as long as c!Schlatt was leader, and that "Schlatt is no Wilbur."
Tumblr media
Later on, in Vassal, he reiterates these points, openly mocking c!Schlatt in connection with democracy and once again stating that he doesn't see Pogtopia as the bad guys + stating that c!Schlatt, unlike c!Wilbur, is unfit as a ruler because of his ambition.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Later on, when outright questioned about why he supports L'manburg now when he was the one that famously opposed them in the Revolution, he says this:
Tumblr media
and obviously, right, he could be lying. I'm not discounting that. But it's rather notable, I think, that when it comes to c!Dream agreeing to give c!Wilibur TNT, that's in response to "I want to rig the city"--a city that, at that minute, was in enemy hands and a force that they were planning on fighting. c!Dream had pledged his allegiance to Pogtopia and specifically set a precedent of himself as an ally that would provide military aid and items (see: the gear he gives c!Techno and c!Tommy, Battle of the Lake, hell, he gives c!Tommy TNT literal minutes before Vassal while all but guarding him when c!Tommy is trying to antagonize Manberg in order to bring them back and keep them from discovering Pogtopia)--his support in this area does not, in my opinion, show clear support for the actual ideological reasons behind why c!Wilbur concludes he has to blow up L'manburg (and in Vassal, we actually see him push against those reasons several times, as shown below.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And again, whether or not you think his disagreement is genuine or if you believe he was just fishing for information/how serious c!Wilbur actually was, I'd say that his words and action in this scene do, repeatedly, indicate a level of hesitance. He is not jumping the gun as soon as the opportunity presents itself for him to get rid of L'manburg once and for all--he's being cautious. Assessing. So much so that c!Wilbur picks up on it and outright threatens him, which is also the point in the conversation where c!Dream stops arguing back against any of the points that he makes:
Tumblr media
And the point I'm making here isn't that c!Dream didn't want L'manburg to be destroyed when he agreed to give c!Wilbur the TNT. I think there does exist proof for this point, including whatever the hell Dream knew that Plan B had to happen...I'm so proud was supposed to mean, but that's not the point I'm specifically trying to make here. Rather, I think that until L'manburg's destruction is specifically brought up by c!Wilbur, there is little proof that shows c!Dream as specifically pursuing it/planning to get rid of it for the sake of a factionless server.
Sure, you can say that c!Dream's ideal server would've been a server without L'manburg on it. You could also say that c!Dream's ideal server at the time was a server where c!Tommy shut up abt the damn discs alread and a server where c!Sapnap stopped rampaging through the pet population on the server--there's a difference between "the ideal" and what he was specifically working towards. And the fact of the matter is, after the Revolution, c!Dream really doesn't have any conflicts with L'manburg itself. c!Tommy? Certainly--largely initiated by c!Tommy for the discs that he literally traded c!Dream during the revolutionary war. But c!Dream is hardly entering into faction conflict--he even says, in Tyrant, that they had peace between their two nations, and that it was C!SCHLATT'S election that disrupted that peace.
And c!Dream's particular dislike of factions is also something that I think has a tendency to get...overexaggerated? Especially because it's one of the foundational tenets of the L'manburg mythos--c!Dream is a control freak that opposed the idea of people getting together to make a "country" without him, etc etc. This is even something that is addressed in the Mexican L'manburg debates:
Tumblr media
c!Dream doesn't like factions, true. He'd prefer a united server without them, true. But c!Dream being pushed into taking action against any particular faction really didn't start from him just, hating factions in the first place? There always was some kind of inciting incident. By the time of post-Nov 16th, he quite evidently recognizes that factions are going to continue to be a Thing--he never has any outright conflict with the Badlands, for example, because they don't really engage in conflict with him--and later he practically ignores El Rapids even after the whole debacle that was Mexican L'manburg. When c!Dream says "look you guys were fine because you were just existing" in the Tyrant book and in Vassal, that fits the pattern of how he deals with faction conflict on this server? (See, also, how he generally doesn't go after factions post-prison, despite making some implicit threats: the only faction that he goes after is LN, and even if you consider the fact that he probably had bigger fish to fry with the whole, world reset thing, once again factions don't really matter to him until he's registering them as an explicit threat.)
The Revolution was meant to prove a point, the point being don't fuck with me--a point that c!Wilbur clearly understood and abided by. And after the Revolution, c!Dream really never shows any inclinations of wanting conflict with L'manburg or wanting it gone the way that we see that as more consistent trait later on by the time we get to things like the revive book deal, and Nov. 16th, and especially in his dealings with NLM leading up to Doomsday the unfinished symphony, right?
And, you know, all of this makes sense. c!Dream knows that L'manburg isn't just about L'manburg itself, considering the damn story of L'manburg was established by c!Wilbur in like, what, a day? c!Dream and the Americans (tm) were established as the Enemy even though half of them literally weren't involved at all in the drug van conflict (and members of L'manburg had. Literally fought with c!Sapnap in said conflict??) and L'manburg grew out of that story in almost no time at all. c!Dream has zero reason to believe that the destruction of L'manburg in entirety is even possible--he literally didn't think it was possible in the Revolution! c!Dream's priorities for the server isn't a factionless server, it's a peaceful server--not to mention how he literally saw L'manburg as part of the Dream SMP anyway? As long as L'manburg the entity wasn't starting shit (which they weren't, not until Schlatt got elected and everything went to hell) c!Dream really doesn't have a motive to try and Start A Conflict against them (which is antithetical to the whole peaceful coexistence schtick that he was trying to get at) and really doesn't have much of a reason to think that any of that would even work either, considering how he was quite confident that the L'manburgians would never give up when L'manburg was like. A week old.
Of course, with Vassal and with c!Wilbur going "let me destroy it all" it's obviously perfectly possible that c!Dream was thinking hey, the guy that all of L'manburg respects and sees as leader wants L'manburg gone, this could possibly lead to L'manburg being fully dissolved and the server going back to being factionless and united and for that to motivate his later actions in the arc and his support of c!Wilbur. But Vassal still has to happen first. There really isn't any reason to believe that c!Dream was gunning for L'manburg's destruction at the start of the arc, and c!Dream really had every reason to believe that that wouldn't even be possible (and I mean, NLM had rebuilt itself literally like. In the span of a week? So.) Based on what we see, the most that can really be said imo about c!Dream here is that he's being opportunistic, and even then he expresses a level of hesitance throughout Vassal.
Considering how c!Dream supported Pogtopia from the beginning and only ends that alliance because of the revive book deal and considering how he acted in the time period between the Revolution and Manberg/Pogtopia, I think it's fair to state that c!Dream's statements of his end goal being to return to the "peace" that had existed pre-Manberg through the coexistence of L'manburg and DreamSMP, one side believing themselves independent and the other side believing that they're all part of the same server, was. His original end goal when Manberg/Pogtopia began. He had every reason to support Pogtopia over Manberg (and by extension, Wilbur over Schlatt) when you consider how Wilbur generally was willing to play nice with c!Dream post-revolution, a sentiment rather clearly not shared by c!Schlatt and his expansionist ideals. Even if c!Dream would've preferred a server without L'manburg, his actions as far back as the Revolution indicate to me that the likelihood of his actually creating any plans in that direction is rather small and that his sentiments of returning the server back to how it was in its pre-Manberg state are close to the truth. c!Dream isn't stupid enough to think that destroying L'manburg outright would've suddenly resulted in server peace--destabilizing shit by making everyone mad at him at that point in time really seems antithetical to his goals? It seems more likely to me that c!Dream, in alignment with his goals, at this point would prioritize a peaceful server over a factionless one, especially at a time pre-Manberg nonsense when the whole "L'manburg is an independent nation that Matters A Lot To Everyone" is just so deeply entrenched.
And obviously quite a few important changes happen to his character around this time, especially due to 1) Vassal and 2) the Revive Book Deal. I think that these two in particular have a lot to do with the character that we see in November 16th (when c!Dream is already acting quite a lot more like how he will continue to act over the next two months up until staged finale, and when he's already a little bit more, uh. Unhinged than we've seen him, looks at his laughter when c!Wilbur detonates the TNT.) And obviously a lot of the important development that happens at this time (such as his spending time with c!Wilbur in Pogtopia + the. Everything with c!Schlatt, the book deal, shakes everyone about the book deal again) happens off-screen, so we have to speculate a bit. But at the end of the day, when c!Dream is considered in the context of who he was before Manberg/Pogtopia began as well as who he ends up being at the end of the arc, it definitely feels to me that these early moments shouldn't be as wholly dismissed as an act/front/lies what have you as they commonly are.
