Knight Primus TL
Hi, quick disclaimer: I'm not perfect at mandarin and could have made mistakes. I am not a translator, I just merely wanted to do my best to share this in english, if there is anything inaccurate I apologize. I got it off of the prts wiki here.
This is a dream. Maria thinks.
An unfamiliar MC fixes their clothes, ice cold radiance enshrouds the entire arena, the night sky far away, unnecessarily boxing her in.
She turns back, seeing some battle ready knights. Their silver armour dazzling, the nod their heads towards Maria acknowledging her. A couple of the seniors come forth, reciting a couple vague words. She sees the Grand Knight Russel among them, these aging heroes in their twilight grouped in formation, carrying a shield walking towards her.
Maria recognizes that shield. Engraved upon it the Nearl family emblem, draped in the Nearl family flag, it's a shield that she could not be more familiar with. Maria knows what this entails, panic begins to set in, uncle refuses to be a a Knight Primus, sister also refuses to recognize the modern knight institution, then what should she do?
Or... what does she want to do?
Maria looks around to the four corners. Sister isn't here. Auntie also isn't here. Mlynar, Vogelweide, Kowal, Marcin, none of them are here. She wants to run away, but her reasoning binds her there. This is an important stage, she cannot retreat, no matter her wishes.
The panic pushes Maria to sink into a past. It was a hot workshop, she was giving a new sword for her Margaret. Vogelweide and Kowal were bickering as usual, Zofia was carefully wiping the sweat off her forehead, adjusting her messy hair. Mlynar was at a tree, not far away quietly watching over this all, and on the other side of the road there was also the distant childhood memories of her father, mother, and the old Nearl who left behind their hope in the form of the spear's shadow...
"Henceforth, you are the knight primus of the Nearl family."
Maria accepts the shield, the lonely weight leaving her unsure. She hasn't yet left her previous scene, she still is carefully reading her blueprint, controlling the furnace. She doesn't want to forge the armour that brings people joy, nor does she want to forge the spears meant to be doused in cold blood.
She wants to forge an "ideal." "Ideals" can protect those she loves, can become the source of strength for heroes, can support her, so she doesn't fear the confusion and loneliness to come.
The sound of metal striking metal rings through her ears evermore. Covering joyful cheers, covering honour.
"Maria." A familiar voice gently calls her.
She raises her head, the bustling arena empty with no-one to be seen
#Blemishine#Module lore#arknights#this module lore honestly only made me more convinced that blemi and plat are foils to each other#though i'm also incredibly biased#ALSO#THE SHIELD IS REAL#THE FLAG IS REAL#THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED???#WHEN#MORE BLEMI STORY WHEN#I tried to stay as close to the source so its a bit stilted sorry#i'll hopefully get better at translating more naturally ;w;

Happy birthday Iwan Rheon!
Jose Ortega y Gasset and George Santayana both were sure, that those, who do not learn from past and history, are condemned to repeat it.
There are two films based on the events which took place during Battle of Britain. I know, that this is strange “present”, but I wanted to publish it for a while and... this is a good occasion to say: Thank you, Iwan, for commemorating one of the Polish fliers.
These are historical photos (black&white) and movie photos (color) of actors, who played Poles in Hurricane: 303 Squadron (polish title: 303: Bitwa o Anglię, USA: Mission of Honor), including Rheon (left corner) as Jan Zumbach (right corner)

Tequila - Pod koniec XVII wieku rodzina Cuervo zamieszkująca wieś Tequila wynalazła i opracowała metodę produkowania alkoholu z kaktusa agawy.
Danie tex mex

Top 10 Amazing Facts About The Bay Bridge
One of the most iconic bridges in the United States has a bigger brother that is just a tad bit older as well, even though less famous worldwide. Let's take a closer look at some of the most fun and interesting facts about the Bay Bridge, one of the most amazing landmarks in San Francisco!
1. It connects Downtown San Francisco with another major city
The Bay Bridge is the common name of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, a huge and fascinating bridge that carries Interstate 80 across the San Francisco Bay. This transcontinental Interstate Highway runs from Downtown San Francisco to Oakland, and then all the way to Teaneck New Jersey, on the east coast of the United States, just north of New York City. It's not to be confused with the Golden Gate Bridge, the most famous landmark in San Francisco which connects the northwestern part of San Francisco with Marin County. Alcatraz Island is located right in between these two iconic bridges.

2. The bridge passes by an island in the San Francisco Bay
One of the most remarkable facts about the Bay Bridge is that it consists of two crossings, an east, and a west section. These meet each other on an island in the San Francisco Bay called Yerba Buena Island. The part between Downtown San Francisco and Yerba Buena Island consists of 2 suspension spans and a central anchorage. The east section of the bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge that curves slightly before continuing to Oakland. While the eastern section doesn't have an official name, the western section is called the "Willie L. Brown Jr. Bridge." It was named for Willie L. Brown Jr., a famous politician in the city who became the first African American mayor of San Francisco between 1996 and 2004.

3. The two sections are interconnected with a tunnel on the island
Yerba Buena Island is a natural outcrop located right in the middle of the city of San Francisco and Oakland in the San Francisco Bay. This island was used as a central point to connect the two bridges because it saved a lot of resources to do so. The bridge was built in the 1930s and back then, the island was a U.S. Navy Base, so approval from congress was requited to build the bridge across the island. Both sections of the bridge are interconnected on the island through the Yerba Buena Tunnel, a highway tunnel with a length of about 160 meters (540 feet). Together with the artificial "Treasure Island" nearby, the island has a total area of just 2.334 square kilometers (0.901 square miles).

4. A self-proclaimed emperor wanted a bridge built in the 1870s
The idea of building a bridge at this location wasn't new as it had been floating around since the California Gold Rush days (1848-1855). This sentiment only became stronger when the first transcontinental railway was completed in 1869 and San Francisco found itself on the wrong side of the bay. One of the most peculiar facts about the Bay Bridge is that a man named Joshua Abraham Norton (1818-1880) issued 3 decrees to build a bridge on the location. He did so because he was referring to himself as "Norton I, Emperor of the United States" since 1859, even though he had no legal authority whatsoever. This English-born self-proclaimed emperor of the United States has been commemorated for his role in the development of the Bay Bridge with a plaque in 1939. This can now be found at the Salesforce Transit Center next to the tallest skyscraper in the city, the Salesforce Tower.

5. It was designed by the State Highway Engineer of California
It wasn't until 1929 that an official agency was formed called the "California Toll Bridge Authority" that had the authority to build a bridge in this location. The bridge was eventually designed by the State Highway Engineer of California named Charles Henry Purcell (1883-1951). He is considered to be one of the most renowned engineers of the 20th century in the United States. Apart from his most famous achievement, the construction of the Bay Bridge in the 1930s, he was also in charge of constructing the first freeway in the American West and designed the Bixby Creek Bridge, another iconic bridge in California.

6. The Bay Bridge opened just 3 years after construction started
It wasn't until April of the year 1932 that the plans for the Bay Bridge were approved. Construction eventually started on July 9, 1933, and especially in the western section, where the bay is up to 30 meters (100 feet) deep in some areas, this was an enormous endeavor. This makes it all the more impressive that the bridge was completed just 3 years later and officially opened for traffic on November 12, 1936. This was about 6 months before the famous bridge nearby, the Golden Gate Bridge, was completed and opened for traffic! Total cost of the project: $77 million USD, the equivalent of $1,460,108,978 in 2021! The American Society of Civil Engineers recognized this remarkable achievement in 1955 and added the Bay Bridge to the seven modern civil engineering wonders of the United States.

7. Only one bridge in New York had a longer span between towers
The Bay Bridge has some pretty amazing figures and is still one of the longest suspension bridges in the United States today. It has a length of: - West span: 3,141 meters (10,304 feet) - East span: 3,102 meters (10,176 feet) - Total length: 7.18 km (4.46 miles) The longest span of the west section is 704 meters (2,310 feet) and the longest span of the east section is 430 meters (1,400 feet). At the time the bridge was completed, only the George Washington Bridge in New York had a longer span between towers! The highest tower of the western section stands 160 meters (526 feet) tall as well, the equivalent of the average skyscraper! The clearance below is 67 meters (220 feet) in the west and 58 meters (190 feet) in the east.
8. The lower deck originally carried railway traffic as well
For well over 2 decades, the lower section of the bridge carried trains as well. The final train crossed the bridge in April 1958 and 5 years later, the transformation to a regular deck was completed and the first cars passed the bridge here. Today, the bridge features 10 decks and also has an option to be crossed by pedestrians and bicycles. It's also one of the busiest bridges in the United States as an estimated 260,000 vehicles cross the bridge every day on average!
The upper deck / Wiki Commons
9. The eastern section of the bridge is relatively new
The Loma Prieta Earthquake (magnitude of 6.9) struck San Francisco on October 17, 1989, and 15 meters (50 feet) of the eastern section of the upper deck of the bridge collapsed onto the deck below. Shortly after this incident, plans were conceived to build a completely new eastern section, but it wouldn't be until 2002 that this plan materialized and construction started. The new eastern section was completed over a decade later and opened for traffic on September 2, 2013. The old section of the bridge was dismantled between January 2014 and November 2017 as well. Total cost of this project: $6.5 billion USD!

10. The bridge looks astounding at night because of a light sculpture
One of the most astounding facts about the Bay Bridge is that it features a light sculpture consisting of 25,000 LED lights. This amazing light sculpture was completed on March 5, 2013, and has been illuminating the San Francisco sky ever since. This amazing spectacle is called the "Bay Lights" and is only visible to people observing from a distance, not to drivers on the bridge itself. And what an amazing sight it is, don't you think?

Violant of Hungary (c1216-1253)
Violant was the only child of King Andrew II of Hungary and his second wife, Yolande of Courtenay. Her mother died when she was seventeen years old. In 1234, at the proposal of Pope Gregory IX, was stipulated her marriage to King James I of Aragon, named The Conqueror. As agreed in the marriage contract, the bride brought a lot of gold, the rights of the County of Flanders and the territories that her grandparents had in Nemours and Burgundy. None of this came to be paid and James assigned her the Lordship of Montpellier, the barony of Omeladès and Viscounty Millau, for the maintenance of her home.
Violant was the only Hungarian princess in history to be married in the Iberian Peninsula. The wedding caused a sensation in Europe, was held in September 1235 at the Cathedral of Barcelona. This was the second marriage of King James I, since the first one, with Eleanor of Castile, had been pronounced invalid on grounds of consanguinity in 1229. James and Eleanor had a son named Alfonso, who was considered legitimate but the eldest son of Violant of Hungary, Peter III of Aragon, inherited James’ kingdom when he died.
Violant was a woman of extraordinary intelligence, talent, character, and exceptional fertility. Next to James I, she had an important political role in the Crown of Aragon. She was one of the most valuable advisors of the king, on whom she had a strong influence. James turned to her for opinion and advice on a regular basis, sometimes even on issues of warfare. The queen gave birth to ten children, some of them born during armed campaigns, in a military tent, since she regularly accompanied her husband on his military expeditions. She was present at the siege of Valencia, for example, and also partook in the negotiations concerning the surrender of the city. According to contemporary sources, prior to the capitulation of the fortress of Valencia the leader of the Mauritanians met King James in a solitary inn, along with one of his trustees and the pregnant queen, to discuss the order and details of the surrender. The resulting document was signed by the queen too, which is almost without precedent in European history. Violant become in the first Christian queen of Valencia.
Queen Violant reportedly died in 1251, although there is some doubt about the exact year. Jerónimo Zurita, in his Anales de Aragón, mentions this discrepancy, and writes that while some annals state that Violant died in Santa María de Salas in 1251, others report that she lived for a few years after (the probable sources of the 1253 date), and that she only made her will and testament in Huesca in 1251. Violant and her daughter Sancha’s remains are at the Monastery of Santa Maria de Vallbona. Violant chose burial in that monastery as she was a benefactor. In 2002, the Hungarian government financed a restoration of her tomb, costing 12,000 euros, but the monastic community denied permission to study its interior. Violant is the only member of the Árpád dynasty whose remains are undisturbed.

Alkohol albo psikus.
I siedzimy i mieli wódkę no to zaczęli ją pić, a ja zamiast im zabrać siedziałam. Mija pewien czas i przychodzi Błażej i Marcin.

The Preview: UFC on Fox from Colorado
Joey
Jan 23rd, 2017
The UFC's first foray (HA!) on Fox for 2017 is a pretty solid affair all things considered. We're beginning to creep our way out of the winter bad show doldrums (although the Canada card ain't too pretty) with the next two cards being pretty damn solid all things considered and UFC 208 quickly falling into the "So hated it's now underrated" department. Slowly but surely we're emerging from the drek. Just gotta get by that Canadian card, fellas. Compared to the last two Fox cards in January (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_on_Fox:_Johnson_vs._Bader) and (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_on_Fox:_Gustafsson_vs._Johnson), I'd say this one really holds up pretty well. There's a lot of meaningful stuff on the main card and there's JUST enough meaningful stuff on the prelim slate to not feel like you're wasting your time there either. The headliner is a battle at bantamweight between Julianna Pena and Valentina Shevchenko with the winner almost certainly getting a title shot in the spring or summer time. The co-main event is a pretty damn awesome fight between two guys who are riding hot streaks at 170 lbs with Donald Cerrone fighting Jorge Masvidal. There's a super big heavyweight fight featuring the top prospect and an aging HW hero and the opener is a fucking war and a half with Alex Caceres taking on Jason Knight. Let's get to it then!
Fights: 12
Debuts: 5 (Jordan Johnson, Eric Shelton, Alejandre Pantoja, Bobby Nash and Jeremy Kimball)
Fight Changes/injury cancellations: 3 (Hector Lombard vs Brad Tavares cancelled due to injuries, John Phillips out/Jeremy Kimball in, Yancy Medeiros out/Bobby Nash in)
Headliners (fighters who have either main evented or co-main evented shows in the UFC): 6 (BJ Penn, Yair Rodriguez, Joe Lauzon, Marcin Held, Court McGee and John Moraga)
Fighters On Losing Streaks: 2 (Andrei Arlovski, Jason Gonzalez)
Fighters On Winning Streaks: 6 (Jorge Masvidal, Andrei Arlovski, Donald Cerrone, Valentina Shevchenko, Nate Marquardt and Alex Caceres)
Stat Monitor for 2017:
Debuting Fighters (Current number: 0-0)- Jordan Johnson, Eric Shelton, Alejandre Pantoja, Bobby Nash and Jeremy Kimball
Short Notice Fighters (Current number: 2-2)- Bobby Nash, Jordan Johnson and Jeremy Kimball
Second Fight (Current number: 1-1)- JC Cottrell
Twelve Precarious Ponderings
-So right away, we have to acknowledge this main event. Shevchenko vs Pena, barring something unforeseen, will be a #1 contender fight given the fact that off the top of my head, these two are the only ones streaking currently in the division. Both represent interesting stylistic challenges for Amanda Nunes and there's stories built in about of that layer. For Shevchenko, she fought Nunes before and lost a very open ended 29-28 decision. Open ended meaning that there's doubt as to whether or not Nunes would've won had the fight been a five round affair. Julianna Pena seems to have a better grasp on fight promotion, even if she annoys plenty of people, and so you'd imagine if this turns into a trash talking feud, Pena would be the better fit. It doesn't make sense to take Nunes from headlining two big PPVs (even if it was as the B-side twice) and then ask her to be on Fox or co-main event a PPV. From a business standpoint, it's a matter of "who should the UFC want to win?" and I'm not quite sure there's a clear answer here just yet.
-This fight is a big challenge for Shevchenko primarily. Julianna Pena for the most part has a style that negates the strengths of her opponents, often turning fights into bully clinch fighting and squirrely exchanges on the mat. Pena has a skill set that probably works regardless of opponent because it's not predicated on anything but her own strengths. Shevchenko's two biggest UFC performances have seen her start slow but build up momentum as she figures out her own path to victory. Against Holly Holm, the five round format allowed her to make adjustments long term that paid off in the end en route to a big decision win. Vs Nunes, she never got in gear until the third round and that was primarily due to how physical Nunes is.
-What will the legacy of Jorge Masvidal be if he wins vs Donald Cerrone? Masvidal theoretically could be riding into this fight on a ridiculous nine fight winning streak across two weight classes. Masvidal's been a victim of some rough judging but also a victim of his own malaise in fights, taking his foot off the gas and coasting to the judges en route to a "WTF happened?" split decision loss. He won't be afforded that luxury here vs Cerrone.
-Assuming Cerrone wins, what would be next? Give in to the assumption that Maia has a guaranteed title shot waiting for him so Woodley/Thompson winner and Maia are both out. What else can Cerrone do? Does Robbie Lawler make sense?
-THREE major challenges for Francis Ngannou on this card. The first is the obvious acknowledgment of the competition jump here. Arlovski is so far and away the best opponent Ngannou has ever faced that it's almost laughable to try and compare him to anybody on his resume. That said Arlovski's not the same guy he was in his prime so you can sort of kind of negate that. The second is the altitude in Denver which makes cowards of many a men. Ngannou's not a guy who fights like he's paid by the round either but he's also not somebody who rushes. For a young fighter he's very patient so while the altitude is seriously something to watch, I'm not TOO too concerned I suppose. Lastly, Greg Jackson. Both Anthony Hamilton and Francis Ngannou train with Greg Jackson which is going to represent an interesting quandry I suppose. Jackson's going to have trained twice for Francis Ngannou with Hamilton basically acting as a test run for Arlovski. Did he learn anything new during Ngannou vs Hamilton?
-Let's say Ngannou breezes through Arlovski. Just runs right through him. When do we start the title talk?
-There's been some scuttlebutt about Aljamain Sterling vs Rafael Assuncao being neither the prelim main event nor the opening fight on the main card. I'd like to offer, I suppose, a few explanations:
1- This fight has been rebooked twice now. Your best ability sometimes is availability and it could be argued or reasoned that the UFC has zero reason to trust either Rafa or Aljamain to make it to a main card fight or a prelim headliner capacity. Injury prone guys get hurt a lot so it's harder to feel like you can commit to them in higher profile engagements. You can kind of count on Sam Alvey and Nate Marquardt to make it to their commitments.
2- Knight vs Caceres is going to be wild and wacky fun while Sterling vs Assuncao is for the purists, as one might say.
3- Jason Knight is a guy the UFC thinks has star potential so they're giving him the big push.
-Nate Marquardt's recent wins have me kind of sort of excited. Allow me to explain before y'all bury me under my own words. Marquardt's chin is a seriously broken one from years of fighting elite competition. Having said that, his hand speed, technique and ground game all looked pretty damn solid vs Tamdan McCrory and he removed CB Dollaway from consciousness before that in a really impressive come from behind win. Sam Alvey is going to really test what Nate has left----but I feel like it's worth pointing out that in the UFC, Alvey recently has only lost to dudes like Elias Theodorou and Derek Brunson. I'm not saying I'm all in on Nate's comeback yet BUT I'm willing to be convinced if he can get by Alvey who is all kinds of wrong for him at this point in his career.
-Of the fights on this prelim slate that I'm most into, Alessio Di Chirico vs Eric Spicely is the one I'm really excited to see. Italy's got a few good middleweight prospects and Di Chirico is one of them; a whirling dervish of offense on the feet with decent-ish grappling chops. Spicely has the ability to shut those guys down as he did vs Thiago Marreta. Big challenge here for Di Chirico.
-We've talked a bit about how the TUF flyweight season is already a bit of a hit given how Tim Elliott vs Mighty Mouse was a great fight and Brandon Moreno has rejuvenated 125 lbs. Alexandre Pantoja vs Eric Shelton is buried way down onto the card but it's a really great fight with two guys who could have long term futures at flyweight in the UFC.
-Li Jingliang fight week! The Leech is getting ready to claim another foe.
-Welcome to the UFC, Jordan Johnson! Your opponent is Henrique da Silva who we all kind of expect to be in the top 15 eventually and you're taking the fight on super short notice. Good luck, dude!
Must Wins:
Julianna Pena
Pena's fighting style and her attitude are not everybody's cup of tea but she has something unique at bantamweight. She can sell a fight, sell herself and she's got the ability to quite possibly be champion. Cringe if you like but seriously, she CAN beat Amanda Nunes. It's not like Nunes hasn't lost time and time again to hyperactive grapple first ground and pound artists before. Shevchenko vs Nunes II would be a darned good fight but Pena vs Nunes might be a bigger fight.
Donald Cerrone
The narrative on Cerrone continues to be and will continue to be a story where every "big fight" he loses, we'll have to hear about how he chokes. Jorge Masvidal is a fighter he should beat in a co-main event slot on big Fox. Big fight opportunity for Cerrone to shut some people up.
Jason Knight
I was torn between Ngannou and Jason Knight here. I went with Knight because even IF Ngannou loses to Arlovski, it's heavyweight and heavyweights are always one win away from relevancy. Jason Knight fights in a much tougher weight class where you need to string together like four good performances in a row to get an eyebrow raise.
Five Underlying Themes:
1- Whether the winner of the main event can put on a performance worthy of getting people excited about a potential PPV headliner vs Nunes.
2- Whether or not the altitude turns what should be a very good card into a very sloppy card.
3- The on-again/off-again love affair between the UFC and Donald Cerrone as Jorge Masvidal comes to ruin the show.
4- How hard they push Francis Ngannou.
5- If we see more complaining than usual about the commentary with Jon Anik leading the charge on big Fox.
Predicting (Bonus) Winners!
Current record: 8-4
Julianna Pena Donald Cerrone Andrei Arlovski Jason Knight Nate Marquardt Aljamain Sterling Li Jingliang Luiz Henrique da Silva Alessio Di Chirico Jason Gonzalez Marcos Rogerio De Lima Eric Shelton
FOTN: Donald Cerrone vs Jorge Masvidal POTN: Aljamain Sterling and Andrei Arlovski

Polish Financial Authorities Paid Youtuber to Smear Cryptocurrency
Regulation
Polish financial authorities have spent taxpayers’ money on a smear campaign on Youtube and Facebook against investing in cryptocurrencies. While issuing warnings or trying to educate the public against what regulators fear are risky investments are not uncommon around the world, in this case they tried to sway public opinion against crypto assets by paying social media influencers to attack them.

Youtube Propaganda
The Central Bank of Poland (Narodowy Bank Polski or NBP), in cooperation with the country’s Financial Supervision Authority (Komisja Nadzoru Finansowego or KNF), have paid over 90,000 PLN (Polish złoty) for an online smear campaign against cryptocurrency investments. The money went, among others, to a Polish Youtube content network which represents many popular young local content creators.
A rather silly video with the title “I LOST ALL MONEY?!” depicting investments in cryptocurrencies in a negative light appeared on December 8 on the Marcin Dubiel’s channel, a Polish youtube prankster who has over 900,000 subscribers. The film, which already has over half a million views, is marked with the hashtag #uważajnakryptowaluty, which is associated with a website set by NBP and the KNF to say that “Virtual currency is not money” and similar warnings.
Product Placement
As the local reports pointed out, the video was not marked on Youtube as “including paid promotion”, and there is also no mention in its description that it is part of the campaign for which the NBP paid. The material paid for by NBP was also published on the Polish Planeta Faktów channel on Youtube. Furthermore, judging by the quality of the content, its distribution channels and its creators, the smear campaign appears to target young kids.
After one individual sent a question to the NBP about campaigns financed by the central bank, the NBP replied in a letter dated 9 February and admitted that it “carried out a campaign on the issue of virtual currencies in social media.” As mentioned above, the campaign cost 91,200 PLN worth about $27,000 in taxpayers’ money. In addition to Google Ireland (which owns Youtube) and Facebook Ireland, its beneficiaries were Gamellon, a Polish Youtube partner network focused on gaming channels.
Can you trust Youtubers and other influencers to voluntary disclose that they are being paid to promote or criticize things? Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

10 Essential Ingredients for a Fantastically Well-Organized Ecommerce Business
From hiring a virtual assistant to having a company wiki, Marcin Hashevsky explains the elements your business needs to run like clockwork
This post was by Marcin Hashevsky from Amazing Work System. Marcin helps sellers start systematizing their online selling business so they can spend less time in operations and more time on vision and growth, or simply spend more time with their families.
Recently I realized that whenever I am talking about online, ecommerce, or Amazon businesses, people always ask me three questions:
How can they build a successful ecommerce business and sell it easily?
How have I managed to make my business run so smoothly?
And how do I pronounce my name?
Apart from pronouncing my name, which I know can be tough, the other two questions have pretty straightforward answers. I find it really easy now to run my business efficiently, thanks to my systemized mindset. But I get why people struggle, as I was in the same situation not very long ago.
So today, I am going to tell you about 10 key ingredients that you need to create a very organized and successful ecommerce business. Let’s begin!

1. A Virtual Assistant
To me, not having a virtual assistant is the greatest mistake one can make when running an ecommerce business. I expect everyone to have a virtual assistant if they want to run a successful online business. Especially, when we are living in a digital age where you can outsource anything to anyone across the globe.
If you keep doing everything yourself, you are bound to make mistakes and lose money.
Not learning how to delegate tasks is one of the core reasons why many online sellers fail. If you keep doing everything yourself, you are bound to make mistakes and lose money. I often say during my training sessions that you should hire your virtual assistant way earlier than you think, because you can outsource many tasks that you really don’t have to do yourself.
My virtual assistant, Joy, is from the Philippines and I love her, as she is an extension of myself. Most of my business is running well because of her, as I have delegated all the tasks that I don’t have to do myself, giving me more time to focus on other important aspects of the business.
There are various benefits associated with having a virtual assistant in our line of work. I am sure you will agree that running an ecommerce business means loads of emails, correspondence with your manufacturers, working with Amazon and many other tasks that can consume almost all of your time.
With a virtual assistant, I have successfully shifted my workload, and Joy has everything she needs on our company’s wiki.

Lineup Update vom 5.9.2017
Es gibt trotz allem eine Menge Kunst in dem Raum, deshalb ist es ja auch ein Atelier ;) Lineup in Progress: 5.9.2017/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass:19:00 Start: 20:00 Set 1 Frank Paul Schubert - sax Olaf Rupp - guitar Ulf Mengersen - bass Thomas Rehnert - drums http://www.frankpaulschubert.de/ http://thomasrehnert.de/ http://www.audiosemantics.de/ _______________________________________________ Set 2 Kamil Korolczuk – improvisation for tapes and modular synth Alexandra Macia - visual performance http://cargocollective.com/kkamil http://alexandramaciagodino.tumblr.com/ _______________________________________________ Set3 OLBRZYM I KURDUPEL + WILLI HANNE Marcin Bozek - bass Tomek Gadecki - sax Willi Hanne - drums http://www.ensemble-megaphon.com/kuenstler/willi-hanne/ https://www.facebook.com/OlbrzymIKurdupel 6.9.2017//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass:19:00 Start: 20:00 Set1 Olbrzym i Kurdupel + Willi Hanne Marcin Bozek - bass Tomek Gadecki - sax Willi Hanne - drums https://soundcloud.com/requiem-records-1/olbrzym-i-kurdupel-willi-hanne-untitled _______________________________________________ Set2 FeoBe & Michiyasu Furutani Brianne Curran - violine Liz Kosack - synth Adrian David Krok - drums http://ausland-berlin.de/michiyasu-furutani http://eboef.tumblr.com/about 7.9.2017////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass:19:00 Start: 20:00 Set1 DUO SUB ROSA Elisabetta Lanfredini - voice Uygur Vural - cello http://www.duosubrosa.com/ ___________________________________________________ Set2 LEMOINE PIERSANTI OHLMEIER Philippe Lemoine - sax Davide Piersanti - trombone Lothar Olhmeier - sax, clarinete https://www.lotharohlmeier.com/ https://soundcloud.com/davide-piersanti ____________________________________________________ Set3 CROSSTALK JITTER Tomomi Adachi – voice, electronics Olaf Rupp – guitar Kriton B. - daxophone www.adachitomomi.com www.audiosemantics.de www.kritonbeyer.com 8.9.2017/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass:19:00 Start: 20:00 Set1 THE IMPOSSIBLE TRIO Roksana Vikaluk - voice Adrian Palka - steal cello Wolfra, Spyra - electronics https://www.facebook.com/pg/theimpossibletrio ________________________________________________ Set2 KOVACS & DYBERG Kamilla Kovacs - voice Mia Dyberg - sax http://www.kovacs-dyberg.com/ __________________________________________________ Set3 TRIO SUSANNA, VURAL, STEYER Susanna Hood - movement Uygur Vural - cello Edith Steyer - sax http://www.edith-steyer.de/ http://susannahood.ca/ http://uygurvural.tumblr.com/ __________________________________________________ Set4 Amélie Legrand - Cello/Voice Teresa Riemann-Drums/Voice) https://soundcloud.com/am-lie-legrand-130463982 und http://unterholzwortfetzen.blogsport.de/music/ 9.9.2017////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass 18:00 Uhr Start: 19:30 Philipe Lemoine Rosemarie Försters - vox Klaus Kürvers - bass https://soundcloud.com/vocaliza http://klausk.berlin/ _________________________________________________ DYBERG MENGERSEN DUO Mia Dyberg sax Ulf Mengersen _________________________________________________ IGNITE Casey Moir - voice & pedals Johan Moir - double bass & objects https://soundcloud.com/caseymoir/ignite-2 http://casey.moir.se/ _________________________________________________ LCLab (Live Cinema) _________________________________________________ CEEYS Sebastian Selke Daniel Selke https://www.facebook.com/pg/CEEYSMusic 10.9.2017///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Einlass: 18:00 Uhr Start: 19:30 Oliver Orthuber - visual performance Rieko Okuda - viola ______________________________________________ Gå På + Alexandra Maciá Brianne Curran - violin Rieko Okuda - viola Antti Antti Virtaranta - double bass Alexandra Macia - visual performance http://alexandramaciagodino.tumblr.com/ https://www.facebook.com/musicgapa _______________________________________________ Penelope Gkika - violin Caroline Cecilia Tallone - hurdy gurdy https://soundcloud.com/penelope_gkika http://www.autrecords.com/project/penelope-gkika/ _______________________________________________ Philippe Lemoine - sax Guilherme Rodrigues - cello Yorgos Dimitriades - drums http://philemo.free.fr/Philippe_Lemoine/Philippe_Lemoine.html https://yorgosdimitriadis.com/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilherme_Rodrigues

This is made in reference to a post on THE BIG ACTION MUSIC ORCHESTRAL THREAD @ FFShrine
So I want to talk a bit about Vinphonic’s opinions on The Witcher 3. Spoilers, I disagree completely! First off, let’s tackle how Vinphonic stated that Marcin Przybyłowicz considers himself more of a sound designer than a composer. The dude graduated from the F. Nowowiejski Academy of Music in Poland. His web site profiled him as studying jazz there. I did some quick research on it, and it’s Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bydgos...Nowowiejski%22) is pretty lengthy. So I am pretty sure that the dude considers himself a composer, aspired to be a composer, studied for the profession. Unless you have proof that Przyblowicz thinks of himself more of a sound designer than a composer, don’t bring up unverified claims. But let’s make this about the music. I like the music to The Witcher 3. I could go on and say I enjoy the music to the series as a whole, but for the sake of discussion I am going to focus on The Witcher 3. Also, when I am referencing to specific cues from it, I will be using my complete soundtrack. Because I am a lazy fuck, and I don’t really feel like having to download the original OST and extended OST and cross referencing between these three albums. So, to me personally, I love the uniqueness of Witcher 3. It sounds so cool and interesting! I have never heard a soundtrack quite like it. I mean, just start off with The White Wolf (aka the main menu theme). We have these very harsh, almost folkish strings playing in dominance, front and center. There are lusher, more orchestral instruments in the background, but the harsh folkish sound is right in our face. Przybyłowicz is practically SCREAMING AT US. He is saying, in our face, just what kind of music we can expect – not the usual fantasy score. Sure, the what he is saying is what we have treaded before a thousand times. But the HOW of it is totally new and strange, and I love it! The Wicther 3 is drowning in something that I think is lacking in so much music, and that is STYLE. Przybyłowicz just fills the score with personality, with a really unique sounding landscape, and I fucking love it! I mean, “The Trail” is a good showcase of this. It starts off with vocals. Female vocals even. We’ve heard that before. But something is immediately off – the vocals are harsh and sharp! In ways that a male chorus tends to be. Our minds are instantly split between these two foundations – the fact that a woman is singing in a way that men are usually told to is wrecking with our brains. And the rest of the music matches with this strange beat. We don’t’ get stuff like horns, but a really harsh string instrument that pushes the cue along. And halfway through, the chorus is practically screaming. This is stuff we don’t see a lot of, and I think that is so cool. Przybyłowicz didn’t want to just do the same old fantasy thing. I mean, for the most part. He falters a few times (I think the only good cinematic cues are “Wake Up, Ciri” and “The Source”), and the fact that he has to compose six hours of music definitely wears on him, but overall this is a solid score that had PERSONALITY. It’s unique! Like, when Przybyłowicz is in his element, I don’t think there is an epic score that sounds anything like it. It feels incredibly worn down, like the edge of a blade that hasn’t been sharpened in months. It caters to the weary world view of the setting, a world that has seen shit after shit, and it just won’t let up. With that said, it is not nihilistic. It’s not drowning us in percussions and so many notes that we can’t make sense of it. It’s edgy, but not grimdark. Listen to “The Royal Palace in Vizimia”. Nilfgaard has just steamrolled over Temeria and has taken the royal palace as the center of their invasion. Przybyłowicz could have easily done a depressing theme, and it would have worked. But there is a certain cherriness to it, because Geralt has a history with this place. Foltest was probably the only king that Geralt could almost call a friend, and so much of Geralt’s rise as a Witcher was tied to not just Temeria’s king, but Temeria itself. Geralt had fought on behalf of both Temeria and its king several times before. Walking through the Royal Palace is almost like strolling through home to him. Not home home, because that honor rests with Kaer Morhen, but it’s close. And the theme that Przybyłowicz wrote reflects that. And how about “A Village on the Outskirts”? That’s not dark or grim at all. A little frayed to be sure, but this is a cue Przybyłowicz wrote for the countless villages that Geralt will travel through in the game. There is the sense of small life here, of people that work day in and day out, who are bothered needlessly by the stupid politics of the big players. But there is beauty here as well – the small lives these people live do have meaning. Not to the rest of the world, but to them. It’s a good cue. Of course I need to give mention to the fight music. There are a few times it falls short – but more often than not, Przybyłowicz nails it. They are the most outlandish moments in the score. We have people singing in Polish, in a harsh rhythm that meets the frantic pace of the band. Sometimes, the vocals sound downright raspy, like as if their lungs have been scrapped by sandpaper. Vinphonic, the music you have in your custom soundtrack is good. I have ZerA and Age of Pirates already, and I like both! But they are very usual scores – the usualness of written wonderfully, but we know what we are getting into. The Witcher 3 is, beyond anything else, unique. It has a personality and flair that I have not heard anywhere else. That has value. Not to mention the fight music if rad as fuck.
