well. I've watched the Wicked movie 6 times so far, and bootlegs of the stage performances twice, and countless compilation videos. I think it's safe to officially put Elphaba Thropp on my kinlist now.

all this to say, I keep seeing people be so mean to Nessa and it bugs me so bad!!! like. did she do some very bad things? yes. am I upset at the way she treated me and blamed me for everything? of course. but sometimes siblings are just like that. and she's still my sister. and she was going through her own bullshit and I never expected her to push that aside in favour of helping me. I understand why she did what she did. I'm not happy about it, but I forgive her. and I still love her. and seeing so many people say awful things about her makes me so upset. it wasn't her fault. if any Nessas are reading this, I love you so much. I'm sorry things turned out the way they did. I wish we got along better. I hope you're happy now 💚

As Elphaba, I'm hurt by all the abuse my Glinda made me go through. After everything she did, she still lies to people in this lifetime about how wicked I am just like she told the Ozians back then. I'm just lucky that my Fiyero still loves me as much as he did back then.

Hello. This blog isn't new but I'm revamping it. I'm basically entirely on mobile so my pages will only be updated in spurts but I'd like to talk to other fictionkin.

Oooooh boy. I've got sorta a doozy.

Alright. So I am a kin of the Green Elixir Salesman from Wicked.

Now, CANONICALLY, that means I am SYNONYMOUS with the Wizard, correct? NO. Wrong. I am not. Apparently, I am from a divergent timeline where I really was just an actual traveling salesman.

So. Why did I technically help the wizard with the making of Elpheba's green skin and whatever else he plotted with that elixir? Simple, I was blackmailed. Oh yes, that's right. I have oh-so-wonderful memories of the not-so-wonderful Wizard threatening my family and profession if I didn't do this.

I had essentially three choices

1. Go to prison for disobeying the wizard and leave my family to starve and suffer

2. Go through with what he demanded and POSSIBLY risk them getting hurt

Or

3. Refuse and take my family to avoid capture leading in the eventual suffering of us all.

Needless to say, I took the way that offered at least SOME safety. Even if I always personally thought the wizard was a con artist.

Either way, that's my story.

And I want to thank any who listen. And dear Elpheba? Not a day passes in Oz where I don't remember thinking how proud I was to hear you stood against him.

hey elphie! it’s not annoying at all! I can assure you that you being autistic doesn’t invalidate your identity in the slightest. I’m actually autistic myself, so i can also assure you that you’re not alone. being autistic is something you can’t help, and neither is your kintype. you are still elphaba, no matter your autism! i completely get feeling invalid because of neurodivergencies, it happens to me more than enough. you don’t need to be neurotypical to be valid, and that’s a fact!  you’re valid and amazing. i don’t know you, elphie, but i know that you being autistic sure as hell doesn’t make your kin(s) any less valid and real than anybody else’s. you are elphaba thropp, that’s amazing! the fact that you’ve managed to survive this far and have a glimmer of faith in yourself in spite of all the challenges you might face is beautiful. being autistic can be hard at times, but it’s something you have to get through. there’s a reason you’re still here, and it’s that you are strong. i promise you that your identity is valid and wonderful, and nothing will change that.  -mod squip
