FORGOTTEN LAND'S SECOND ANNIVERSARY :3

I AM SOOOO BACK

I started this drawing yesterday around afternoon and finished it just a few minutes earlier.

I went with a messier type of drawing instead of more clean like the elfilin one from yesterday, i find it fun doing it like this, mostly cause i dont have to worry about making it perfectly so i dont get as frustrated as normal. Id place this one as my second best digital drawing. im pretty sure i havent posted what i consider my best digital drawing here, tho i do have it in instagram, i might post it here one day, tho these two are way too tied up, i love how this came out, its not exactly like how i imagined it but its really close to it, and also itd say that since i dont tend to play around lighting that much, this was such a joy to draw and i cant help but stare at it a lot, at least until i start hating it because i made quite a lot of errors. i also changed my elfilis gijinka just a tad bit from last time, but its not that big of a difference, mostly.

ofc i had to draw elfilis for forgotten land's anniversary, i tend to deny it in my head but yeah they're my fave of the kirby characters even tho i hate them a bit. I wanted to draw some more doodles, like, elfilis eating cake, kirby car, a bunch of other stuff (not elfilin cuz i already drew him yesterday) but when i tried i couldnt draw anything more, guess this drawing burned me out a lot, huh?

you can definitly tell i spent all the efforts on him cuz if you look a bit closer to the bottom part you'll see its almost barely detailed, but i mean, they're the focus so make sense i guess for me not add that much detail there. um also, maybe because i dunno i had OVER 130 LAYERS jeez no wonder firealpaca was slowing down so much, i need to manage my layers better next time, tho i did do something i keep forgetting, wich is naming them (most of them at least) that was a real life saver

Also, antares (fecto elfilis' spear/cadaceus), as always, was a pain to draw, but this time its probably been draw the most accurate out of every other drawing ive made with it in it, i didnt notice it was like, a little curved when it reached the blade

fun fact! actually, this is technically a redraw, somewhere around between february and march i started a fecto elfilis drawing for the first anniversary, but i couldnt finish it in time, and i never finished it

also his wings are like that cuz i did not want to draw the pattern, its way too hard, i literally copy pasted it, wait, i was talking about the 2024 version but i looked at the 2023 one and i just noticed it also has the pattern copy pasted, i guess some stuff never changes since i still abuse the ctrl+c ctrl+v to this day

Also i ended up making a huge error there, i was planing to add the phantom spears from orbital pulsar (the attack he does first when you battle them at lab discovera) but theres an innacuracy, when they do the attack, they always close their eyes, i had actually sketched him (well i mean both these drawings are basically the first sketch (2023) or second sketch(2024) with some color, shadows and lighting. i didnt do lineart in the 2024 one cuz i wanted to be a bit like the og i made (too bad i sketched that one with black since the og was sketched with white due to me drawing the bg first)) with his eyes closed but them decided to make them open for a reason i cant remember, maybe i thought itd look nicer? idk

I really love katfl, like a buncha whole lot, its basically almost my first mainline kirby game. 100% the demo, finished the game in almost one day, i literally play it monthly, like, every month i put the card in my switch, start it up, get morpho sword, and go shred elfilis in lab discovera. i would probably not even be here on tumblr and the kirby fandom if it werent for it. and i love it so much i genuinly cannot express how much i like it and treasure it with words or anything

Maybe this sounds random, but on Tik Tok I saw a lot of people using AI to make their Arcane lookalike character, and I just wanted to say that if you do so you didn't understand anything this show offers.

The quality of Arcane comes obviously from a really good writing but also from the amazing  character designs, worldbuilding choices, scene composition and obviously animation; those are works that take a lot of fucking time to the amazing artists, animators and directors, and using a technology that actively threatens this working positions is not only disrespectful but also stupid. Actively feeding AI with the unique artstyle of arcane is first of all helping this abomination evolve into becoming even more precise in stealing and copying specifics artworks, and also it's teaching it how to replicate Arcane lookalike art pieces that could be used to mass produce merch or prints putting a profit in the pockets of the wrong people; not only that but since we live in a time where profits are basically the only interest to big companies, who can guarantee us that once the AI products are good enough they will not be used for the actual series and products. I know that right now it doesn't seem like a possibility for this franchise because it has given us a genuine and fantastic work of art, but seeing what is happening in the world of animation (thinking for exaple Disney pushing only corporations slabs such as live action remakes or souless films, Pixar employees given less and less creative liberty, DreamWorks Co founder Katzemberg basically declaring that animators can be replaced by AI, and all the strikes the animators in the USA are doing because of the inadequate salaries and threatens to their positions) it's not an impossible scenario, maybe the fact that the arcane/league animation projects are done by a studio based in France, [were because of EU regulations AI is more limited (kinda, but also not really lol)], can keep it safe for now, but I wouldn't be so sure about it in the future.

This is to say that there are real people in the animation industry wich are suffering the direct consequences of the capitalistic mentality of their executives, and the real threat of AI replacing their labor, you chosing to use this technology is only giving this capitalist machine free fuel.

Also it's insulting to the amazing visual work done in the show, the art of animation is finally taking a different path in big industries than the iperrealism of Disneys 3D backgrounds; let's think about Spiderverse by sony, or the lates Ninja Turtles by nickelodeon, or even better Nimona, finally there has been a path of experimentation with this form of art recognized by the general pubblic, and Arcane is yet another example of this new and diverse path. The characters flow in the scenes, everyone of them has a unique style of combat reflecting their personality, the use of color as symbols but also as enanchment of the scenes, the raw strokes and blurred edges, the use of light to convey the scenes depth, the character designs, the writing, it's a work of art, a humanmade work of art, not one done by some click on a computer and a prompt. This is a tipe of work that an AI should struggle to replicate, it easy for an artificial intelligence to remake a Disney 3D style, because it's clean, boring and all the same therefore it's easy for a company like that to start rely on this technology to feed us with all the more shit ass stories and all the same animations, let's not make it easy for an AI to replicate something like Arcane, let's not feed this machine great material to steal and reuse to take away work from the people who give us this masterpieces in the first place.

Without obviously starting the discourse about how harmful it is for the environment, but this post is already a chapter, so maybe another time.

Last thing is I saw a girl talking about the artstyle choices in the scene where Viktor and Jayce destroy the excore, where the excore products are all kinda fucked up and uncanny like something an AI could make, and then where the two of them fucking explode (rip to them I'll miss those gay boys) everything becomes more flat like a traditional human made drawing. So maybe the glorious evolution of mankind through AI it's a lot like how it's portraid in the show: souless, all the same, lacking personal freedom of choice and creativity, therefore if we put on our thinking caps maybe it's not the best path to go down. I dunno I just wanted to throw it out there because it fits a lot.

Mortarion, and how he would work in various ships (chaos edition)

Magnus: Magnus/Morty is the most delicious enemy to lover. There is a thousand possible scenario for those two! Magnus seeking the second most powerful psycher in the family, Mortarion having to deal with witches... There is so much things to write about them! They would balance each other quite nicely too, with Magnus hopeful optimism and Mortarion pragmatism coming up to a more even result. Tho, I think my all time fav scenario, of how they could get together, is this: what if as a child, Mortarion send out a psychic distress signal as he was abused by Necare? And what if that signal was picked up by kid magnus, and a strange, long distance relationship started?

Alpharius Omegon: The hardest one for me to figure out. I can see them being fascinated by how unwillingly Mort is being used by the Imperium, or maybe them being assigned together in the hope their tactic rub off on Mortarion and he get less causality. Sorry, I'm running a bit dry here.

Horus: Horus is, canonically, one of the two primarch Mort has any attachment too. I usually see them as having more of a big bro/lil bro relationship, but it could easily be Mortarion pinning away at him too. Or Horus having that sweet secret romance! You can add some drama to it, and make it so that Mortarion is *Horus* side pieces, and he feel like trash about it. He wants! To be loved!

Angron: Mortarion has the best apothecary, and hate slavery. The Emperor could have given him to Mort in an attempt to help, and I feel like,at the very least, Morty would have been able to find drugs good enough to calm him down a bit, or ease his pain a bit. Angron would have probably seen a friend too in Mortarion, someone that was chained to the Imperium, and who also held no illusion toward their role.

Lorgar: You have unlocked my secret fav crackpair hehe. It's actually, so, so easy to ship them: you make Mort realise that Kor is a piece of shit. Mortarion, with his hatred of abusive dad, would start to do everything to protect Lorgar. And our sweet Urizen would look at him with bug eyes like "is this affection?? I now love you mind, body and soul." They would be a violently intense pairing, that swing between wild fight and incredible tenderness. And if you want to add spice? Lorgar can worship him, as someone choose by nurgle. Nurgle, being a deity of fertility on Colchis, would probably mean sexy time, wich would make their relationship EXTRA messy. All in all, 11/10 one of my fav.

Fulgrim: Fulgrim/Mort is actually really not that far fetch! First of all, they both adore Konrad, so that is a nice starting point. Following that, you basically just need them to sleep together once. Fulgrim, being himself, would make it the most amazing of time, and poor touch starved Morty would be hooked. Completely smitten. Not only that, but while he thing that all the fancy manners of Fulgrim might be for show, he would absolutely respect his working man background and admire his talent at making things. Fulgrim would also adore plumping him up, and pampering this poor, broken soul.

Perturabo: Another one of my guilty pleasure! Take the two big bitter resentful bastard, and see what happen!!! They would annoy the hell out of each others, and yet, they are SO similar. I want Perturabo to talk about birds, while Mortarion show him rare flowers. I want them to be their best and their worst together. The kind that hurt one another, but can't stay away. Toxic in all the right way.

... and Konrad: Listen. LISTEN. If GW is gonna write in the codex that those two are best friends, and then NEVER MAKE THEM INTERACT.... Then it's free real estate, I don't care. They are besty. They know each others secret hobbies. Mortarion enjoy Konrad weird bones craft, and Konrad is touched by the array of carnivorous plants he's gifted with. They cuddles, because no one really get them like each others. They have this tense friendship, like so many queer youngster had. The one were you aren't sure if it's friendship or attraction, were you kind if want to kiss the other, but knowing that it would change everything between you two, you stay put. They see each others at their worst, and only love the other more for it. I adore them. My precious.

An Analysis of the hogwarts teachers

This iwas included in the Analysis of Severus Snape as a teacher but i decided to put it in a separete post 'cause i feared it would be to long for Tumblr.

Ok , we don't know if the REAL Moody was even good at transfiguration so he might not have used that to punish Draco and as for the unforgivables....maybe...i mean, the reason Barty gave to show them that was a good one but Moody knew of the backgrounds of Harry and Neville so i'd like to think that he wouldn't use the unfogivables that affected them most with them in class.

Ok, so i can't in good conscience say anything to defend him against points 2 and 3 'cause, quite frankly, there's no excuse for that, in fact point 2 makes him no better than Snape when he called Hermione the M word and he dosen't even have the excuse of once being anti-irish and trying to change,like Snpe does.

as for point 1 however the Harry Potter Wiki clearly states that when heads of houses decided to live at Hogwarts, they most likely had private quarters NEAR their House's common room. " note that it says Near, not In and as Luna's bullying happened In the dorms & common rooms, Flitwick would have no way of knowing about it unless she reported it, wich she never did.

Points 2 and 3 make her no better than Snape who is also often criticized by snaters for insulting his students, wich is funny if you consider that we clearly estabilished that he is not the only one who does this. As for predicting people's deaths, i understand that it's a part of her character, just like is a part of Snape's character to be snarky, however i can't help but think that she is incredibly stupid for doing that as it not only, as said distresses the students, but makes the theory that she is a fraud seem much more belivable.

Ok, i'm not even going to defend him cause i never liked him and there are honestly no good arguments to defend his actions in any of those instances. Honestly, i can agree that Snape is a bad teacher but at least he never picked favorites or did nothing when a student was endagered in front of him.

As for Dumbledore in OOTP, i get that he was afraid that Voldemort could read Harry's mind but that could be solved by simply writting a porpusfully vague letter like " Harry, I'm afraid Voldemort can read your mind, that's why I can't look at you and I can't share my plans with you. I need you to trust me, I have a plan and the best thing you can do to help is put all your efforts in learning Occlumency. I would teach you myself but that may allow Voldemort to see my plans, but I happen to know of another expert at Occlumency who may be of help. You might not like him but he is by far the best person for this job. Don't worry, i will talk him into curbing down his behavior so that he is more civilized with you during those lessons"

There Harry won't know for sure who his teacher is going to be (thus neither will Voldemort ) but at least he won't be compleatly in the dark.

Point 3 was always something that irked me about him, but i suppose i can't say much as age is also not a factor in the recruitment of death eaters, though it can be noted that while Voldemort did manipulate his potential recruits, he never lied to them about what he expected of them wich can't be said about Dumbledore.

ok so lets go in order:

Point 1: IRL, it was clearly another demonstration of Jk Rowlling's fatphobia. In potterverse, it was clearly irresponsible and constitutes as a violation of the status of secrecy as, although the Dursley's know about magic, the staff of the hospital where Dudley goes to remove his tail do not.

Point 2: once again, Irresponsible, but in character for Hagrid who seemingly fails to see how something like a Dragon could hurt the students.

Point 3: and Yet another teacher who insults his students ladies and gentlemen.

Point 4: One of his worst offences on this list, Investigating the Unicorn deaths was HIS JOB!!!! Honestly, call Snape what you will but he never used detentions to send students to get dangerous potion ingredients for him or set any detentions past curfew. Hagrid should have them do something like clean the owlery instead.

Point 5: i get that he though Aragog wouldn't eat them, wich is in character for him as he always sees dangerous creatures as inoffensive but he didn't know for sure and could have just told them to research Tom Riddle's geneology wich would have been just as effective and way less dangerous.

Point 6: Ok let's get this out of the way first: YES, Draco is partly to blame for this injury as he insulted Buckbeak when Hagrid specifically told him not to! However, in any class there will always, and i mean ALWAYS be a student that, for whatever reason, fails to follow instructions so if Draco hadn't said a word, you can bet that another student who wasn't paying attention would have! thus the end results would still be the same, with the only difference being how much power the parent's of said student have at the ministry and if they decide to press charges or not. The risk was always there and that's what he gets for bringing a XXX beast to a third year class.

Point 1: Ok,so i believe that his reason for not telling people about Sirius being a dog animagus wasn't to, as the post said, "Look Good" but to be loyal to his friends whom,being who they were,probably made a pact in their first year to not tell any figure of authority about their mischiefs, wich included becoming animagus. Was it a bad decision? Yes,as he should have put the safety of his students above anything else but i understand his reason. it dosen't excuse it though.

Point 3: Ok i need to remind you that: LUPIN IS A WEREWOLF WHO DIDN'T TAKE WOLFSBANE AT THE TIME AND IT WAS THE NIGHT OF THE FULL MOON! meaning, the freaking Wolf while not in control of his body, was very active inside his mind and it, being an animal, dosen't care about the emotional impact Peter's execution could have had on the children and with it being so close to the front of Remus' mind, it was very capable of clouding Remus' rationality and common sense, making him focus only on his anger.

About the point deduction –Harry and Hermione not only got into trouble themselves, but also put Neville and Draco into trouble as well, and already Harry and Draco have been troublemakers (having fights at the Hall over the Remembrall, breaking the rule about flying, and maybe some more- I can’t remember right now), so she was probably trying to discourage them from doing such a thing ever again by giving such a harsh punishment, especially since the school just recently had an issue with a troll on the loose and attacking students. In any case, Neville also had 50 points deducted, and Harry, Hermione, and Neville all became the target of bullying because of it. Also, the Hospital Wing is on the first floor and at the time McGonagall catches them, Harry and Ron were on the second – I don’t think it reflects that badly on her that she allowed them to go unescorted just one flight of stairs down, especially since she was rather too emotional at that time to think rationally (when Harry and Ron leave, McGonagall is tearing up and blowing her nose).(Fae_Faye)

Point 7: All McGonagall knows is that a boy habitually known for forgetting and misplacing things wrote down every password of the Gryffindor Common Room in the last week and then lost it while a mass murderer was on the loose and trying to get into the Gryffindor Common Room. Neville endangered every Gryffindor classmate of his by losing that parchment, and could have been the cause for all their deaths if Sirius had turned out to be the psychotic mass murderer he was painted as (especially since at that time, Ron was screaming about Sirius standing over him holding a knife). Sure, there were security trolls there to protect him ( “Poor Neville was forced to wait outside the common room every night for somebody to let him in, while the security trolls leered unpleasantly at him.” ) But, setting aside the sheer mental and emotional trauma Neville was experiencing by being forced to wait outside, fearing for his life, and to humiliate himself in front of his classmates by begging to be let inside his own "home"... Sirius Black was believed to be an extremely skilled killer, who walking around the castle without being seen. The trolls were not even a small guarantee that Sirius couldn't endanger Neville.

All this, for Neville supposedly having lost something (so, not a voluntary action, but the consequence of him being naturally forgetful, and of the fact that Cadogan was inventing harder and harder punishments, to the point that other students complained).

And Neville is an extremely sensitive child, so a punishment that would have been terrible for anyone, would be excruciating for him. McGonagall, as his Head of House, should know that. It's also extremely poor pedagogy - by having him there, it's a constant reminder to everyone else that he supposedly endangered their lives, which would prompt bullying." (Fae_Faye and Vrajitoarea)

Yes,his fall would probably not be considered serious but it dosen't change the fact that she should have asked about his wellbeing regardless of that: a scraped knee is not serious but it can still be painfull.

It's also mentioned that the only time she says something positive to Neville is in HBP, and then it's only because he was willing to die for Harry at the Ministry... which was actually the sort of reckless gesture that a teacher should not have been encouraging. If they had all stayed put, Sirius would have lived.

And, again, she was his Head of House - she was supposed to nurture him, help him gain self-confidence, not further undermine it.

Which I honestly find weird, considering she clearly intended for James to have become decent, yet never got around to actually writing it.

In any case, "toning down the bullying and the sexual assaulting" != "becoming a good person."

I don't blame McGonagall for the Marauders' behaviour itself, just for the complete lack of consequences. I find it hard to believe she didn't know about t.On the other hand, Draco was Snape’s student but he never managed to make him a better person bu that's because Draco was the subject of heavy indoctrination, and Snape had the mission of pretending he agreed with said indoctrination. Draco actually acts behind Snape's back a lot, like in PoA, when he's taunting the Trio behind Snape's back, while pretending to be very injured in front of him."

Holly shit that was long! and looking back i find it interesting that Pomona and Aurora Sinistra were the only one's not criticized by the original post (not couinting  Septima Vector and Bathsheda Babbling who we don't see teaching cause the books were written in Harry's perspective and he never took their subjects), perhaps because they were the one's that actually deseve the title of best teacher at Hogwarts.

So I haven't watched the most recent Ghostbusters movie, Afterlife, but I get the plot spoilers and some backstage info, and there is a major plot point that rubs me the wrong way:

So the movie was directed by Jason Reitman, the son of Ivan Reitman (the original two movies director) who becamed famous for dramedies about complicated family situations like Juno and Thanks for Smoking.

He decided to bring this background by making his iteration in the Ghostbusters film series be a movie about a father who left his daughter and is forgiven by her after he passes away and becomes a ghost, wich, while not a plot I find particularly favorable to the father character in the 2020s decade, could work in the usual Jason Reitman family dramedy with an original character.

Instead, he and the makers of the film decided to make this a story about pre existing character Egon Spengler.

There is the problem I have with this idea: In real life, actor Harold Ramis lived a complicated family situation where he and comedy director got involved while both were married in the 80s, this resulted in his second daughter, and sayed daughter was raised distant from him and thinking her mother's husband was her father until a DNA prooved otherwise and in 2004, 10 years before Ramis died, this grown up daughter camed into contact with him and his other three children, and while they remained close, not being around while she was growing was a painfull regreat that Ramis had to deal with.

(Here is the article Violet Ramis shared about the story wich is also a chapter of her book Ghostbuster's Daughter, I recomend the reading because is very bittersweet, just ignore the sensationalist sounding headline).

Harold Ramis was a director, writer and actor, and in his career you can see an effort in showing range and avoiding characters that felt too close to him in real life.

Egon Spengler is the most famous example: a formal, skeptic, introverted, awkward, morbid, yet helpfull and merry nerd who deeply values the company of his friends and would have no reason to hide personal facts from them, but actually would try to comunicate with them and ask for help.

So the idea of that character abandoning a child that none of his friends had any idea existed (not even having any idea that he may have got involved with a woman to father a child when all four Ghostbusters talked about each other's romantic or sexual lifes) rather than asking them to take care of her, dying alone, miserable and branded as a paranoid madman (when it was extablished that he was the most skeptic researcher of his group while Ray was the one who would quickly jump to believe in anything supernatural and, having the traumatic experience of unconsciously choosing the form of the Destructor in the first movie was a more fitting choice to become a paranoid character that would embark into a suicidal mission to destroy Gozer alone after receiving many false alarms) doesn't fit with his pre extablished personality and dynamics with the other characters.

Sometimes, incorporating some little subtle details from the real life actor into the character can be enjoyable and interesting to flourish them (like when in the original 1984 movie Winston makes a reference to his christian faith, likely taking inspiration from his actor, Ernie Hudson, who camed from a family of preachers).

But when it comes to major plot points and overall personality, it is better to avoid completely mixing the character with the biography of the actor, both for an audience to better enjoy the performances and a situation that is exploitative of the performer.

It is possible for writers to write a character with an actor in mind, while also extablishing that the character doesn't need to have the exact personality of the actor.

After all this is the point of acting: to be a person different of yourself.

During the production of the 2009 videogame, the last Ghostbusters production to have all the original cast members performing together, the game designers intended to put a Crystal Head Vodka bottle as an easter egg to Dan Aykroyd's brand.

Aykroyd sayed that this easter egg was unnecessary, because his character, Ray Stantz, doesn't drink vodka. So the insertion of the bottle was scrapped.

Even tough this could help promote his brand, Aykroyd was clear in making Ray Stantz different from himself with a detail as small as what the character drinks or doesn't drink.

He had a say to extablish this difference.

Why couldn't the filmakers also have attention to separate the big details about an actor's life from their character?

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is a recent production that was made when Harold Ramis was dead and couldn't have a say in what the writers and the director with his character.

He was the screen writer of the original two movies alongside Dan Aykroyd and had extablished that Egon Spengler was not an extension of his life.

And here camed Hollywood, deciding, after he died, not only to mix the two up, but making a specially complicated and painfull moment of his personal life a major plot point of a movie rewriting the character he created to be different of himself.

He had no chance to be consulted and say either "yes" or "no" about this idea.

The filmakers just rolled with it, and put a "For Harold" sentence in the ending credits believing this to be a homage.

But for me, this feels kinda of the exploitation of the personal life of a man who couldn't protest because he passed away.

Not the most respectfull tribute.

Ok so I read a tweet on my for you page(an account I don't follow) that was saying that they didn't want Last Twilight and OF to air at the same time and end up the same as the NLMG and MSP situation, and I didn't get what they meant right away so I looked in the comments and from there I gathered they meant they didn't want OF to overshadow LT like msp did for NLMG, also with promotion and all that(wich fair msp got a lot more promotion, tho I believe it did cuz of it's popularity) and how even if it is a Aof show JimmySea are in it so it's gonna be less promoted like VV, also saying waiting for a year for a show(Last Twilight) for it to be beaten by nepo babies??? what nepo babies! my boys in OF deserve all the recognition! they didn't stay in the gmm basement for 4 years to be classified as nepo babies!(all Khao First and Neo!) and to be honest FB never got that much promotion ever and Mark has a lot of talent and deserve the spotlight!

I get that Pond and Puwin are being neglected on some capacities, especially during NLMG aring time compared to MSP but if you compare it to some other shows, the lakorns, they got a lot more promotion compared to the Warp Effect(the superior Jojo show for this year for me!) or 10 year tikets, and if we are gonna be onest people that tuned in for MSP at the beginning did it to shit on it all new cast and highschool? it could have been a recepie for disaster but it turned out so nice! is it the masterpiece it's say it is? for me no but it is a very enjoiable show, NLMG on the other hand worken on the paper it was a new interesting premice and the cast seemed good but at the end to me something went wrong and made it less interesting to me, and a lot more people like the overly sweet and silly shows a lot more than the weird class invalance with some sort of conspiracy plot in the background

The only reason why MSP overshadowed NLMG was that MSP was clearly the better show lmao and depending on how LT and OF will turn out, it could be a similar situation IF they air at the same time. I mostly agree with your takes on MSP and and NLMG; I got annoyed with MSP and its over-promotion towards the end but it was still far better than NLMG lol. But I won't go into that again.

I'm pretty sure OF will get a good amount of promotion and people will definitely go crazy over it; it's one of the most anticipated shows of the year afterall. I'm expecting LT to get a big following as well but if there is a crossover with OF, the chances of an overshadowing are high. Whether that will be deserving or not remains to be seen. But then again, I'm pretty sure LT will be one of the last shows to air from the lineup anyway.

How popular a show will be and how it will resonate with the audience is very unpredictable in general. f.ex. I never expected people to go this crazy over a high school BL when MSP started airing lol but apparently going back to the basics still works for the majority. MLC was on the polar opposite end of the spectrum as it had a completely different approach and attracted a different kind of audience but in the end, it also gained more popularity than I expected. The Warp Effect on the other hand had everything that a good show needs, it did everything right and was a genius contemporary production through and through but people didn't care one bit. I expected it to go through the roof (it should have) but it never did. And I will never understand why. But that's how it goes.

About FK: To say they're becoming the black sheep of gmmtv is taking it a bit far imo lmao I don't think that's what's happening. Some people were pressed about them overshadowing EM in MLC and there may be a group of people who will say the same about OF but let's just wait and see how it goes. No need to get stressed about something that hasn't happened yet 😉

NO 👹 DONT DO THAT YOU WILL OPEN THE PANDORA BOX Im weak for them, and since Soul Fighter is an universe based on the present, it made my mind run free.

For starters, its stated that Pyke did die in this universe too, and that Gwen 'helped him come back from the spirit realm'. Nice, but what if Gwen 'had to sew him back'? I headcanon Pyke with the scars going all the way around, instead of the flashy ray shape they have on the skin. Imagine that Pyke actually died on a very gruesome way, and was dismembered? And Gwen somewhat found him and sew him back with her threads and power. That way you have the cute and wholesome storyline of the canon on wich Gwen helps Pyke and he bows to himself to protect and make her proud of him, but also a gruesome, horrid background on wich technically, Gwen had to find a dismembered body somewhere by accident and decided to sew it back. Maybe she was just feeling like doing a puzzle ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Its something very Frankstein, and i dont think Pyke remembers who killed him, but still affects him to this day.

They are bestfriends, and they live together. I think thats pretty obvious in the canon given the splashart of LOR where Pyke is holding the shopping bag, it shows that they most probably share residence. Pyke clearly is the one that carries the heavy bags from the supermarket saying 'Im fine' while his arms are in pain, and Gwen carries the paper towels happily, its not like she cant carry the heavy bags but that Pyke is both not trying to bother her but also very prideful.

'My parents didnt want me' 'Omg same!!' kind of traumadumping. I dont care that much about Viego to see the voicelines of his skin but Isolde is clearly siding with him i guess? So i guess Gwen is a random child running around with her little friend.

Since its based on present day im betting all my horses that Gwen is very active on social media. I headcanon Gwen being one of those tiktokers that do makeup, but not the cute/impressive ones but the creepy and hilarious ones that try to resemble a cartoon character with face paint and ducktape... and while shes filming Pyke is sometimes passing through the hallway and then stands by Gwen's room door watching her doing her tiktoks with a very confused face and hes appearing on the background of the video like 🧍 but she can also do impressive makeups, also shes a great dancer she just loves to be weird and hilarious. Pyke does have social media but its undercover, he doesnt use his name and its under an alias because he doesnt like the attention, but likes and shares all of Gwen's makeups and videos. Doesnt publish but spends his spare time watching reels or tiktoks with sea creatures and sharks with goofy sounds or those ones with the little star/swirl thing on the midddle with a lot of sea animals footage. Doesnt interact but probably Gwen would record an embarrassing storytime and he would comment 'It didnt happen that way.'

Gwen films him when hes not looking, she loves that, or takes funny pics of him when he's distracted, eating or asleep. She will definetly pull up an embarrasing pic and post it.

im unaware if this is true, it was the first thing that came on google but imagine Gwen posting a pic of Pyke sleeping on an akward position and he screams 'GWYNETH-' from another room in embarrasment. She also post cute pics of him, and pics together, they have a bunch of polaroids on their rooms doing silly stuffs or just being cute <3

They like baking together... cant explain but its just so real... and they are so good on it... and they decorate it together... when they are done with soul tournament they are going to open a bakery.

On skin design i really like both of them BUT i would love to see more of them being on the same team aside from the colours... like Pyke could have a little kitty bag on his belt or a charm resembling Gwen's cat hat... I recently drew Gwen with a little Pyke plushie attached to her i think it would be cute if she made matching plushies so they can keep each other... wholesome...

Pyke's thing about being designed around belts and zippers... its just funny to imagine him on his room super distressed on the verge of tears and Gwen goes 'Whats wrong?' 'I cant pull my back zipper up'.

Gwen designed his outfit, and the prestige one. Imagine her very concentrated with her pins taking measurements on him and she says 'stay still! you are moving!' 'sorry m'am...' He wears his outfits proudly, and constantly bombards anyone who approaches saying 'My best friend designed and made it! Shes an angel' and shows everyone her socials...

i love them, and i imagine them with a lot of struggles, and a lot of self doubts. In the end Pyke has to learn that he doesnt have to preassure himself to the edge to make someone proud of him, and Gwen has to learn that not everyone will return her kindness back, but she still has to keep going. They have each other and they support each other, and i love them very much.

On kiribaku becoming canon and their evidence:

So I posted this on reddit earlier, but wanted to have it here where more KRBK shippers are, since I just ended up compiling a lot more than I thought I would.

Fair warning: A pretty big text with a compilation of kiribaku moments ahead.

We would all love kiribaku being canon, and I think it's not as much of a longshot as some may lead you to believe.

Honestly, if one of them was a girl, this would most certainly be canon, like, just in the anime we have:

Them becoming friends slowly in the background, leaving us with good development between them that is so seamless it can hit you hard once you notice how close they've become if you hadn't noticed before.

Them arriving and leaving the pool together while walking in the sunset.

They support and compliment each other (both on personality and quirks, like come on).

Kirishima can just lean on Bakugou or side hug him all the time and Bakugou lets him with no problem, which considering who we're talking about is a pretty big thing.

Kirishima can seem even more agitated than Deku about Bakugou being taken, and Deku is the one who idolized him since childhood.

The whole "It has to be you" thing and the precious hand holding (including that little scene after the rescue, where Kiri tries to grab Baku's hand again).

Kirishima bought expensive night vision googles in case they were useful for the rescue even though they had Yaomomo with them (this boy goes through extremes just to ensure his boyfriend's best friend's safety)

Kirishima is officially the one Bakugou considers an equal, and considering his conflicting inferiority and superiority complexes (making him perpetually place people as above him or beneath him) is vital information.

Kirishima is esentially Bakugou's first real friend (as Deku was considered more of an incomprehensible nuisance and his childhood troop seemed more like his followers who just put him up on a pedestal and followed what he did).

Kirishima has jumped in front of danger for Bakugou's sake quite a bit of times (including a time in the movie).

Kirishima is a central piece in Bakugou's character development.

Bakugou was the one who told Kirishima he was strong and gave him his confidence back, reminding him of what he said at the start of their friendship.

Kirishima unlocked fucking UNBREAKABLE because of Bakugou's encouragement.

Going to extra stuff:

Bakugou's favourite hobbie is hiking, and we're shown he takes Kirishima with him sometimes, thing he doesn't seem to do with other characters.

The whole festival thing, with the narrator outright assuming Bakugou must have given his coat to a pretty girl who was cold, only for it to be revealed in another picture that he gave it to Kirishima because as usual, he didn't have a shirt on.

On the movie Bakugou could have taken anyone to I-Island and took Kirishima as his plus one. They share a room. Kirishima bought suits for both of them, with the most detailed one with white roses being for Bakugou, and they decide to go to the party together.

In a BNHA Smash connected directly to the movie, Midoriya notices the white roses in Bakugou's suit and notes that they mean deep respect and "I'm the one for you", which prompts Bakugou to send an explosion his way (not to Kirishima who gave him the suit, mind you), which makes the flowers turn red (from blood), after which Mineta appears to say that red roses mean "beautiful and passionate love".

They are usually seen together in merch stuff.

There are discussions regarding Kirishima's character sheet and the translation of him liking "tough guys" (here's a podt by aitaikimochi explaining the meaning of the translation: https://www.google.com/amp/s/aitaikimochi.tumblr.com/post/171127708911/amp) where even translator such as aitaikimochi have gotten into, and they have mentioned that there's a japanese stereotype of a type of gay guy who is obsessed with "manly behaviour" and usually stay away from women, prefering tough guys instead, which is interesting to say the least.

Some of the light novel episodes which show more slice of life moment feature some good kiribaku moments, with a prominent one being this one wich details their study date (it seriously seems like fan fiction, not even kidding, and this is supposed to be sort of canon):

Also there's a chapter where Kirishima tells Fatgum about Bakugou being extremely happy, and another one where they are arm wrestling between classes and they cheer for one another heavily.

(Honesly, just go through aitaikimochi's whole kiribaku tag, there are some pretty interesting things there)

And in BNHA Smash, there are quite a lot of things, and we must not forget that the whole thing still gets approved by Horikoshi before being published, some of my favourite things are:

Kirishima inviting Bakugou to spend christmas together, with the translators noting christmas in Japan to be a romantic holiday in the same panel.

In one issue, Jirou falls for Kiri and him being oblivious just leaves her for Bakugou.

Once Bakugou becomes a shoujo boy after being his with a quirk and just involuntarily talks in flirt, and in one moment Kirishima outright flirts back.

Bakugou works his ass off to repay Kirishima for the night vision googles they used in the rescue.

Kirishima is literally described as the chicken soup for Bakugou's soul!

An interesting thing I found out is that in the chapter where all of 1A minus Bakugou turn into animals, one scene originally had Kirishima (as a dog) getting jealous of Kaminari and Midoriya petting Tsuyu (as a cat - yes I know, a cat) and giving all their attention to her, however, Horikoshi himself changed that scene, noting he didn't think their character relations worked well in that scene, and made it so that the one that ended up in smash contains Kirishima (as a dog) getting jealous because Todoroki (as a koala) has climbed up Bakugou's torso and won't let go. I saw this all in a tumblr post a few months ago, which showed the original scene in a book (I think it was in italian and was translates below) but I can't currently find the link, sorry, if someone finds it, It'd be appreciated if you could reblog with said link.

And in regards to meta stuff, the show already has some LGBT characters in it, with Magne and Tiger being trans and Toga being bisexual, so it's not as much of a lost cause to hope for this as it would initially seem.

(Please kirimina shippers, don't take offence because of this, it isn't my intention to insult your ship, I simply want to analize what has been given to us, so please try to take this lightly):

We should also take into consideration Krishima's first version in the sort of "beta" for the manga (where Midoriya was Yamikumo).

His character sheet mentions he's quite the delinquent and entered UA to impress a girl. Obviously his character evolved tremendously since then, but the girl was most probably intended to be Mina's equivalent. This was later changed to him liking "tough guys"/"hard liners" and his thing with Mina became more of an "I admired your bravery and heroic spirit when in middle school even if I hardly knew you", later seeing each other and establishing more of a little friendship. However, it hasn't really moved further from there, and Kirishima has already established much stronger bonds with our favourite exploding boy. All changes in characters are made for a reason, and Horikoshi clearly changed his mind on Kirishima's motives for wanting to be a hero and his relationship with Mina.

So yeah, all in all, this ship is great, it's precious, adorable, helps both characters grow, is balanced and has good chemistry. So even if after all these things they don't become officially canon, we still have so much canon material for them in the present I'd honestly still be happy, these dorks make me smile and melt my heart, so I hope they both have good endings.

Hello beautiful people! We reached season 13!!! This was a very analyzed season, so, many of the things I will say won't be new. There wasn't much Destiel in the second half of the season, so, I hope we can have less volumes than season 12.

But, let's focus now in the angst, and when I speak about angst, I mean Mourning! Dean.

Priorities?

At the beginning of the episode we have Dean, down his knees by Castiel's dead body, he can't believe he just lost him, so, he is not thinking here, he can't thing in another fact more than Cas.

Sam feels he has not time for crying for his best friend, because he has to focus in saving the world: Lucifer's son had just born.

I always like to point the difference here: Why Sam can focus on the Mission right away and Dean can't? Is because the amount of the emotions and the meaning of this lost.

Don't forget they lost Mary too, but this is different.

Because Sam lost his mother, but because she didn't died, he keeps hopes in bringing her back. Because Jack is there, and he was the one opening the rift. He lost Cas, he saw him die, his best friend, but even so, he keeps going, he runs towards that cabin to find the Nephilim. Because just like Cas, even with the loses, he has to keep fighting, to try to save the world, Cas would do the same.

But for Dean Cas represents his Everything, his faith, his hopes, the love of his life. So the world just stopped there. And he can't think in anything else but the deep pain of loosing the man he loves.

Then the scene in the car is heartbreaking.

SAM: Hold on a second. Can we just talk about what happened back there?

DEAN: Sure. Which part? Let’s see. Crowley’s dead, Kelly’s dead, Cas is—(he pauses) Mom’s gone, and apparently, the Devil’s kid hit puberty in thirty seconds flat. Oh, and almost killed us.

This is Dean not wanting to say Cas is dead, this is Dean not being able to say Cas is dead. His worst nightmare became true.

SAM: Yeah, because you tried to shoot him.

DEAN: I tried to shoot the monster, Sam. It’s kind of what we do.

SAM: We don’t know what he is yet, Dean. And I had it under control.

DEAN: I’m sorry. Are you defending the Son of Satan?

SAM: I’m not defending anything. I’m just saying, look, with everything that’s happened, I’m obviously spun out also, but we need a plan.

DEAN: Yeah, kill him! Okay? That’s the plan. Look, right now all that matters is finding him, and ending him, before he hurts anybody else. And once we do that we’ll figure everything else out.

Again pointing at the difference between the two brothers. Sam is thinking strategically, but Dean wants to kill him, because he blames Jack of Castiel's death. Jack is a monster that deceived, used and killed Cas. So there's no doubt for Dean JACK IS A MONSTER AND HE MUST BE ELIMINATED. For Sam, Jack represents the hopes to get his mother back.

SAM: What about Cas? Is he - is he really dead?

DEAN: You know he is.

And this is terrible, Because Dean is answering this to himself. 'You know he is.' Is the fact he has to assume. But he is avoiding to do it.

"Angels are real too."

So sad when the angels find Castiel on the table. The contemptible way one of them referred to Cas breaks my heart, because is so fresh now his dead in 15x18.

1ST ANGEL: Castiel. Always knew he’d meet a bad end.

2ND ANGEL: He deserved better.

1ST ANGEL: No, he really didn’t.

This is so accurate now, is like hearing Misha wanting his big sacrifice for love as Castiel, and all the fandom repeating HE DERÑSERVED BETTER, trying to show the point, and the C*W and broniles saying NO, HE REALLY DIDN'T. But well... Just a bitter thought... For this angel, particularly, is referring to Castiel's choices, his repeatedly chosing Dean Winchester over Heaven.

When they arrive to the Burger Shop, Dean decides to stay in the car and wait for Sam.

The drunken girl, which results to be an angel, comes out from the same shop, and the camera shows us Dean's bruises in his knuckles. So, we can infer something happened...

The dialogue between the angel and Dean is very interesting, because she create a whole scenario and character:

DRUNK WOMAN: Anyway, Becky was - and I say this in the most feminist, screw the patriarchy way - a giant superbitch. She’d take things, and break things, and piss people off, and just do whatever she wanted, no matter who it hurt.

She will say after revealing who she really is, that Dean was Becky. And the way she speaks about this character is with the same contempt as the angel talking about Castiel. Because Dean is guilty of Castiel's fall and disobedience. He is the human that broke Castiel, and that's why Cas ended up dying.

Once in the police station, Dean tells all the truth to the sheriff, and when he speaks about angels... His face turns even more sad.

Look how he drops his eyes and turns his face to the window. This is pure grief, pain, sadness. Because it was almost as if he was mentioning Castiel again. And it hurts too much.

We were witnesses of Dean's prayer to Chuck, mentioning he wanted Castiel back, pleading not just for him, but Mary and even Crowley. Desperate prelaying. And when he turned around, with this little hopes in being heated, and maybe finding everyone there, CAS, and then realizing they weren't, he exploded in anger, breaking the pirate on the door, and hurting his knuckles.

Still trying to make Cas to come back to him...

Goodbye Cas

When Dean was fighting against the drunken woman, now an angel, the dialogue between them is showing us again how Dean was still expecting to find a way to make Castiel come back to him.

MIRIAM: Because Bieber in there? He can do almost anything.

DEAN (hopeful): Anything?

MIRIAM: (Chuckles) Oh, sweetie. Almost anything. Castiel, he's dead.

Dean's grief all over his face while the little hope that had found it's way is slowly fading again, listening to these words. These words that Miriam says with pleasure.

This scene is showing us how Dean was only thinking about CAS, in how to bring him back, with desperation, he was longing for him so hard, even the angel perceived that emotion.

The other super sad scene was Dean preparing Cas' body for the funeral...

When he comes back to the cabin, he faces again the reality. Dean is down that sheet, dead. He stops just for a second, and swallows. Encouraging himself to keep walking towards him. Before doing that, he flicks his eyes away from the corpse.

Then he goes to his side, and sighs, and then breaths... The pain is all over him.

This is Dean realizing again Cas is gone. Look at the deep sadness in his face, while he is staring at him, maybe he is talking with him, asking Cas to come back to him. Then, he is swallowing again, hard, he looks away, because Castiel won't come back, Castiel is definitely dead, as the angel said. No one will bring him back, nobody is gonna help him to bring Cash back. The despair is huge. Yes he has to aknowledge that in his heart.

Okay I read somewhere that maybe Dean was praying here to Cas to come back again, then he sees Cas is still dead. But I really believe, Dean didn't stop praying to him, or to Chuck, because that was the only things he could do. What else? So maybe he was praying the whole time, putting his hopes in those so many times Chuck relived him, or Cas camber back to him. Trying to reach Cas somehow. But with each desperate prayer he was convincing himself Cas wouldn't come back, and this time he was dead, really dead. For ever. That's the pain in his heart. He was trying to wake him up, he was pleading for one last miracle, and not to burn his body in the pyre. So this was his last attempt to bring him back.

The last and hard scene was the funeral

"You say goodbye" Sammy's voice sound in the background and we see Dean's sad face. The pain and the grief. So different from Sam and Jack. And so different from another times when he had to burn his father, or friends. Nothing is gonna be norm from now. Because he lost Cas, the love of his life.

Visual Narrative: Just a little mention of Pirate Pete's Burger Shop. The place was in blue and red, (Cas and Dean), with references about the ship (Destiel), and jokes about the butt, and, according the Urban Dictionary, the Pirate Pete is a sexual joke too. So, we can maybe infer, base in how angels were mocking Dean and CAS relationship and how it ended in this episode, that place was related to it.

To Conclude:

This was just the beginning of Mourning!Dean, we will see him depressed and with no faith, no hopes. Ig gonna be alarming for Sam, and we will have one huge revelation in the episode in wich Billie will talk with Dean about his grief.

One of the most common ways a hunter relaxes is either by hitting up the gym, running a mile or ten, driving until they pass out, or anything closely related to those. For Dean, he likes to go on long drives by himself with the windows rolled down, wind in his hair, and his rock music blaring at him from all sides. Before Sam met you, he went on long runs that usually left him too tired to be stressed for anything.

However, after he met you, all that changed.

All your life, you’ve had really bad anxiety attacks that got to the point where you couldn’t even get out of bed in fear the bogeyman would get you or that you couldn’t even go to the store because of the large crowds. Your attacks got so bad that it was starting to affect your physical health more than your mind. Nothing seemed to work until you found medicinal marijuana. The smoke helps you relax and helps you realize that the bogeyman isn’t real, and those crowds of people have no interest in you.

You’re the one that got Sam into trying the drug, and once he got his first hit, he never went back to running--at least not to blow off steam.

When you first started living at the Bunker, you made sure to install speakers throughout each room so that when you’re alone, you can play the music that hooks up to the speakers. It’s nice to walk into any room you want and still hear the music playing. It doesn’t bother Sam, but Dean doesn’t prefer it. He only “allows” it whenever he’s not home, which just so happens to be now. Right now, The Neighbourhood’s You Get Me So High is playing loudly. The library is filled to the brim with marijuana smoke, and you and Sam are having the time of your lives.

It all started when you took a few hits to calm down since you knew a panic attack was coming on. You’ve been having them for most of your life, so you know what signs to look for when an attack is coming on. Sam happened to walk into the room and asked to join you. You’ve been here for hours, just singing, dancing, and smoking. It’s really relaxing, and you have to get Dean to try it sometime.

The song continues, and you look at Sam, who is sitting on the couch you placed inside the library. You moved the tables around a bit to include the sofa, and it’s been the center of attention ever since. Sam tips his head back and lets out a few puffs of smoke. He looks so incredibly sexy right now, you just can’t help but bounce over to him. He’s so relaxed, you don’t regret giving him that first joint that started all this.

Wish I didn't doubt it I wish I never ever told you all about it But I just had to let you know I never meant to hurt you, though I had all my motives I didn't know they wouldn't mix with your emotions I just had to reach my goals Never knew I needed you though, so

“Sam,” you say in a sultry voice. He looks at you through hooded eyes. “Come dance with me.”

He places the joint between his lips and gets up. He walks over to you and grabs your hand, pulling you flush against his body. The music changes, but it’s still songs by the same band. You put on their playlist right now, so the only songs that are going to be playing are theirs.

Through the haze and the smoke, you watch Sam with a careful eye. You’ve gotten used to smoking weed over ¾ of your life, so the effects aren’t as strong as Sam is feeling them right now. Your body moves with his to the rhythm, and you take the risky move of twirling in his arms. When you face him, your feet accidentally step on his, which causes him to lose his balance. He falls back onto the couch, taking you with him.

You both stare into each other’s eyes before you both bust out laughing. Something about what you just did seems like the funniest thing in the world to you. The distance between you two is so small, and his lips look so shiny from his tongue, you can’t help but think of what else you’d like to be doing.

No, stop it. Sam is your best friend. Friend. What would he think if you actually kissed him? What would he--and his lips are on mine. Damn, they really are soft and smooth.

He couldn't help but kiss you when he noticed you staring at his own. There have been way too many “what ifs” and “will they, won’t they” moments between you two. One or both are always afraid to take that extra step, and he just took it. Maybe it’s the weed, but he’s done beating around the bush.

The music fades into the background, the smoke clears, and all you can focus on is the man underneath you. He pulls his lips away from yours and starts to leave sloppy kisses down to your neck. It just so happens that your neck is your biggest ticklish spot. Many girls would melt if their neck is being kissed, but not you. You just turn into a giggling monster.

“Sam,” you giggle and scrunch your neck up.

Your laugh causes him to let out a breathy chuckle on your neck. His breath is hot, and it shouldn’t be sexy, but it’s only turning you on even more.

“Let this happen, please,” he whispers.

“But what about--”

“Don’t think. Just do.”

If you say no, you know he will back off without another word. Just the thought that he would consider your feelings like that is enough for you to succumb to his advances. You grab his face and press your lips against his in a bruising manner. You’re not normally this rough, but weed somehow does that to you.

Though, you do have to say, having sex while high is something everyone should experience.

Cramp’s Comic Page Tutorial

So here is the turorial I’ve been wanting to do ever since my line art tip list

Just a quick reminder before we get started: I’m by no means an expert and I still have a lot to learn so everything I’ll say from now one is just part of my personal method of making a comic page and thereby should be taken with a grain of salt  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

Okay now let’s get started :D

The Materials

These are the tools I use. I’m mostly working with drawing nibs, ink pens, copics and so on. I’ll show wich tool I use for each step.

Step 1: Storyboard

This scribbly abomination is a page from my sketchbook. I wrote the script for the story this page is taken from in there. Since it’s just for roughly planning a page the drawings can remain as messy as you want. 

If you’re making a longer story it is advisable to always plan a few pages ahead to avoid similar looking panel layouts, wich can lead to a stale reading experience (unless of course you’re purposefully using it for artistic effects)

Step 2: Sketch

Once you’re content with your layout you can start drawing on the drawing board. I use 250 g/m² size A3 paper. For sketching I’d recommend tone H, 2H, HB graphite pencils.

When the sketching is done we can start with the ink!

Step 3: Panels And Speech Bubbles

The first ones to be inked are the panel frames and the speech bubbles. Sometimes I do these with brushes but for this page the frames have to be clear and straight forward so I draw with a nib and a ruler (careful when using a ruler for it can smudge the ink very easily. And let me tell you it’s FRUSTRATING) 

The type of drawing nib for step 3, wich is perfect for drawing very even lines:

Step 4: Foreground and Characters

Next up the foreground (wich includes in many cases most of the depicted characters). You can emphasize perspective and plasticity of the characters by varying the line width. I did this by outlining the close-up in the middle panel with a brush to get even thicker lines. 

For everyone else I used my favourite nib wich allows different line sizes by applying pressure:

Step 5: Background

The background and - for this page also - speed lines (my nemesis :/) are done with ink pens. The small sized pens can draw very fine lines wich is perfect for backgrounds and details. Ink pens have a slightly lighter tone than real ink wich again is beneficial in this case because it helps to set the characters apart from their enviroment.

Step 6: Area Inking

Now we fully ink the wider spaces. Since this is a black and white comic I have to rely on stark contrasts to make it work without colours (in moments like these I often regret making this story take place mostly at night :’D).

 The bigger black areas get inked with a small brush.

For the smaller spaces I often abuse this nib here wich is actually for writing because it produces very thick lines:

Step 7: Erasure and Opaque White

When the ink is dry we finally erase the pencil sketches. Then we check the page for drawing mistakes such as ink smudges and spills. We repair them by using either Tipp-Ex or Opaque White. As you can see I also applied little white spots in the background in order to create a night sky full of stars (it’s a simple but effective method :3)

Step 8: Grey Areas

I use it sparsely for this project since I want to accomplish the most artistic effects with the black and white contrasts. But for the grey areas I use either grey copics (characters) or grey pencils (backgrounds).

Step 9: Lettering:

Now for the final step I have to say it’s still in the making because I’m currently still experimenting with the font I wanna use and the way I plan on making it (I haven’t decided yet weither I’ll do the lettering by hand or digitally). But let’s just say once it’s done I’d usually scan the page, polish it a bit via photoshop and Indesign.

So what you see here is a rough translation of the dialogue (I apologize for the messy text editing, I’ll work on it in nearby future) ^^

Wife cheats on her husband, abuses their children and lies on court. Enjoy not having your kids anymore.

For cast we have: Mom:empty human, S: sister, Me, and my dad.

I have no concrete dialogue for this story since it happened about four years ago, and I pretty much want to forget about it.

Now, some background: My mother is not exactly the best person in the world, she used to abuse me and S both physically and mentally (mostly mentally), avoid responsibilities at home and she also decided to cheat on my dad with several men around 13 years ago, and never stopped. When my father discovered this, he simply stopped sleeping in the same room and stopped being affectionate towards her, he stayed with her for us (S and I) and decided to raise us basically alone since mom was always outside with her partners.

My mother used to simply arrive home to eat, sleep, and hurt me or my S, the rest of the day she claimed to be working overtime, however, all the money she made was kept away for herself, and my father had to do real overtime to take care of us, and he was tired of not getting any help.

Here is where my dad's revenge plan starts.

He stayed quiet for a long time, managing work and parenting very well, but in the meantime, he was collecting all the evidence he could about my mom cheating as well as evidence of abuse towards S and I, and he also kept supporting us, teaching us how to stand up for ourselves and eachother, helping us understand how bad mom's behaviour was and that not just because she is out mother, we need to justify her bad treatment.

He kept being the best person he could for about ten years until S and I were old enough to testify in court.

Then he immediately asked for divorce, and got it very easily since mom kept lying about how "He was abusing me and my children" but, of course, he had proof of her cheating and being the abuser, so they got divorced, but the plan didn't end there, since he wanted us to live with him.

My dad left our house immediately after the divorce and two weeks later I moved with him, my sister stayed with mom.

Let's skip some months until the court date to discuss the kids custody. About 6 moths prior, my mother lied about me living with her so she could get that sweet child support check*, but when the court date arrived, S and me testified against her, explained how bad of a mother she was etc. And I said that I have been living with my dad for months, contrary to what my mother has said.

Of course she wanted to play the victim with lies, wich we refuted, the judge was not having it, and told her that she needed to stop lying because she was being fined for lying to a judicial authority. Of course she lost our custody and she was forced to return the child support money to us.

Now she lives alone and sometimes tries to play the "Forgive me, I know I did wrong" card with us only to ask for money right after, but none of us want to see her again.

Not exactly a massive, sweet and evil revenge, but after I told my dad about this sub, he told me I should post the story, I hope it actually belongs here.

*The child support thing: in my country, when parents divorce, it's the other parent who gives the money to the one with custody of the children, we call that money "child support" but in this case where both parent have only one children at their care, they get nothing from eachother. My mom said she had both of us to get money from my dad but that was a lie.

Alright, Attempt 2: 

Ok so Jon runs for the tape recorder then yells at martin to get the fire extinguisher. 

Jons voice tho. He's so panicked. Is this where he got bit? 

Ok, then it cuts to them getting the worm out of jons leg so ya he must have gotten the worm when he was starting to sort of zone out there. Also, that yell breaks my heart.

And just... his voice through this whole section ;-;

Also martin... Has had to think about this way too much. 

Martins "HA!" of victory here :D

Ok, but then jon dropped the tape recorder but martin had another one stashed in the safe house he made because he got rightfully paranoid. 

Gotta love that thirst for knowledge babeeeeeee!

Tim just... Casually talking to the tape recorder then mocking john while Sasha and martin are screaming at him about his imminent demise is still hilarious.

I can't tell what Prentiss is saying here leme look at the transcript real quick-

Also, I'm still laughing at tims impression of jon. How is this the funniest episode so far? 

Ok and then I've got no clue what's happening here... Sasha's running? I suppose this is where her and Tim got separated. 

Ok but Jon sort of helping ground Martin here (even if it could be interpreted as just so he can get more information on what's going on) is kinda... soft. 

Martin here questioning why jon always dismisses the statements is just me all season. 

Just like martin feeling like he needs to hide the extinguishers from the worms, jon feels like he needs to hide his knowledge from... Something. Wich, I'm sticking under my eye category because he says he feels watched and because everyone always draws him with eyes and because im a little spoiled and know he's linked to "the beholding" in some way. 

And he started working there cause he's always believed in the supernatural. I wonder why? Was there something that started him believing in it? 

"Because I'm SCARED martin!"  ;-;

When he reads the statements he "loses himself a bit." You don't say... Wondered if there was a canon reason for the voice acting to be so good ;)

And i think this is the first time we've heard Elias? Or- no we heard him tell off jon that one time for being mean to a sponsor or something. First proper time tho.

So Sasha used to investigate the artifacts but moved to the archives instead cause the artifacts are too spooky.

And then she sees the table from that one episode. Then it seems like there's someone there with her. And then she screams. And then there's... Another voice? Saying "I see you"...

-hold on I've just had a thought. Are WE the beholding? Jon only feels watched when the tape recorders are on. And we're only "watching" when the tape recorders are on... And our pov in this episode is switching between multiple different tapes... Hohoho,,there's a meta-theory for you. I'm probably not the first person to think of this but still.

Ok, and martin has gotten lost. Jon's leg is still bothering him and making him slower as well. They find a trap door but it just opens back up into the archives. 

The end. 

Ok so, I still know basically nothing about the web except that its been mentioned by name a few times and might be spider related? The beholding is eye-related, jon related, and perhaps knowledge or truth related? The lonely is mist related and perhaps people disappearing related. And that's all i know about the ones I can pretty confidently name. There's also the patterns and stinky meat and evil books etc but idk which "fear" they represent. Is "the hive" a fear? I would assume so at this point i just haven't seen its name crop up online as much as the others. 

Welp, onto the finale.
