#i switch prns a lot for gin sorry#anywayyyy i've seen the hc that she should've become the pm's boss and yeah she should've. but god forbid#chuuya being boss is something so odd. he does not fucking like being boss and neither does dazai!!! thats why he was miserable#movie/stage play ending is weird also. ⋆ ✦ ˚。⋆ THIS SUMMER NIGHT WE FIND SCATTERED DREAMS, I ONCE AGAIN RUN IN THE STARLIGHT ft. dazai, chuuya, fyodor, sigma.
— what it’s like to stargaze with them. (& more)
a/n. sadly, i have yet to see the aurora borealis and in general, seldom get to see the stars. (light pollution my no.1 enemy !!) but a girl can dream :) (& distract herself from the latest bsd chapters..)
info. fem!reader. fluff. soft everyone lol. some of them are nerds & ramble abt stars. :) + a little poetic. mentions of greek mythology. kissing. buildup to actual topic. profanities in chuuya’s & he may or may not use sskk to help. bsd manga/ability spoilers in fyodor’s.
DAZAI : so in this instance, i’d be perseus, and you’d be andromeda. — he listens to everything you have to say.
Your palm in his, the brunette’s pretty fingers wrapped around yours. He softly massaged your hand as you began telling him, your starstruck lover a story under the show of constellations. It had formed into a little routine since the first time you stargazed with him as a date.
“There was this princess,” you started. “Princess Andromeda. She was a very beautiful woma-”
“You’re more beautiful, though,” Dazai interrupted. You didn’t even get in two complete sentences without his commentary. You sat a bit awestruck while he delivered a kiss to your hand.
“Continue, bella,” big brown eyes teased you.
You hastily recovered. “…She was beautiful. And her mother—Queen Cassiopeia—who was very prideful, decided to brag to Poseidon, the Greek god of the seas, that she was prettier than his daughters.”
“I mean, that’s understandable. I brag about you all the time! Why shouldn’t the pretty girl be shown off?”
“Shut up,” you chuckled, reminiscing over the times the detective had shown you off. Whenever you decided to visit the Armed Detective Agency’s office with Dazai, Kunikida would never hear the end of it. When you two went out to eat, he would flatter your name away. “This gorgeous girl would like to order…” “May I please get a table for the angelic lady and I?”
He never failed to fluster you.
“Anyway, Poseidon got angry and decided to send a sea monster to destroy their kingdom. The only way the monster could be pacified was if it could devour Andromeda.”
“A damsel in distress,” Dazai nodded and then dramatically pretended like he was the helpless princess on the ocean. He completely pulled over the blanket the two of you were sharing, using it as a cape—“Someone save me! I’m going to be eaten by a sea monster!”
“‘Samu! I’m cold!”
“Ah, sorry. Perhaps you are the princess, and you need saving from this icy night!” He rewrapped the blanket over your shoulder.
“Stop interrupting me; I’m trying to tell you something!” It was nowhere near icy, but your lover proved his dramaticism even further when a tuft of brown hair grazed your shoulder. He had rested his head on you.
“Oka-ay—sorry, continue!”
“Meanwhile, Perseus—I told you last time, the man who killed Medusa—found Andromeda while flying over with his horse, Pegasus. He immediately fell in love with her, so he slayed the sea monster and rescued her from the rock she was chained to.”
“What a hero,” Dazai said. “So they lived happily ever after?”
“Not yet. Perseus asked Andromeda’s father for permission to marry her but discovered she was already set to marry someone else. And the man she was engaged to got angry that Perseus wanted to marry her.”
“Of course,” he sighed, which puzzled you a bit, but you’d return to his comment later. “I’m rooting for Perseus, though.”
“Well, good for you because the two fought, and Perseus won by showing the other guy Medusa’s head.”
Dazai chuckled. “Nice move! He turned his enemy into his trophy. Imagine if we did that to all our enemies!”
“I think then we’d have a whole army of statues,” you laughed. “But now, he and Andromeda married, and they were able to live happily ever after.
“The gods placed them in the sky so their story would be remembered eternally.” Finished with your recount, you gazed up at the stars.
“The North Star,” you pointed, and when you saw the brunette’s bronze eyes squint, trying to see what you were talking about, you moved closer until you were halfway on his lap.
You took his palm in yours and guided it to a single star.
“That one. All the characters’ constellations I mentioned in the story revolve around that star. Perseus with his sword, Andromeda flying on Pegasus...”
“Huh? That’s the North Star? Isn’t it supposed to be the brightest in the sky or something?” It didn’t stand out from the rest as much as he thought.
You giggled. “That’s a myth, ‘samu. It’s funny you didn’t know that.”
He shrugged. “I never really had time to appreciate and learn about something so peaceful like nature until now.” He turned to you.
“Until you.”
You weren’t sure how, but it was almost as if the moonlight had carved out his pretty face. Ethereal, you had called the moon, and it reflected in your lover’s features. His eyes took in the charm of the millions of lights in the night and synthesized the feeling to bring it back to you.
“If I were one of the gods, I would’ve created a whole galaxy reflecting your soul.”
In the midst of terror and chaos, the detective’s eyes revolved around humans and their violence rather than around the sun and the planets. Eyes and soul—how else could he focus on anything else when that’s all life showed him?
“Because I see the constellations in you—Andromeda, Pegasus, Carina, Orion…” it had been a few months, and throughout you had shown and told him all the stories behind the stars in the sky.
“And now I can stop to smell the flowers, love. I can watch the Ursa Minor, even if I still find it hard to sleep.” You were the bridge to his bronze gaze and iron marrow—you showed him that you were human, but that a heart could really exist without violence or malice.
I see a reason why the nebulas are placed as they are, even if stories are just stories. I see a reason I’m here. With you.
He sealed the thought with a kiss to your lips, under the celestial moon and the heavens’ watch.
You always wondered why Dazai paid such close attention whenever you started rambling—initially, you didn’t think he’d care that much about tales of space. But you understood him a bit better now, his complex heart. You held onto him a bit tighter to him as you kissed him back.
…
“Oh yeah. What did you mean when you said ‘of course,’ when I started talking about Perseus having to fight over another guy for Andromeda?”
And Dazai was his lighthearted self once again.
“We’re definitely Andromeda and Perseus in another universe,” Dazai winked. “You’ve always deserved to be treated like a princess! I would totally save you from a sea monster. And I’d be an equestrian if I could too—even better, a flying one!”
“Sure…”
“C’mon, bella, you see me at those horse-racing events all the time! Anyway, most important of all, I had to fight for you. Such a tough world when every other man is also at your feet.” He crossed his arms. “Having Medusa’s head would’ve made things so much easier! I really would’ve had a whole army of stone statues if I did.”
“No, you really didn’t need it at all,” you replied, laughing at Dazai, who was now pouting.
“Osamu the demigod: slayer of monsters or not, I only have eyes for you.” You kissed him on the cheek.
“Unlike Andromeda, I wouldn’t let two men fight over me and marry the one who wins.
“I would just choose you right away.”
CHUUYA : babydoll, you’re worth more than all those stars combined. — he only gives you the best.
“Ah, that’s unfortunate. Thank you for informing me, though,” you said before hanging up the phone.
You didn’t sue them on the line, albeit irritated. Tonight, you were supposed to have a date with Chuuya at one of the fancy restaurants he somehow discovered more of in the city when you thought you finally visited them all, but your reservations were cancelled last minute.
“Hey, princess,” the handsome ginger said when you phoned him next. You could sense a smile through his words on the other end.
“What’s up?”
“Weird-ass restaurant cancelled our plans,” you said. “Not even a refund.”
Chuuya quickly picked up on the disappointment in your voice, and he knew it wasn’t because he didn’t get his money back. Money was nothing—he was a Port Mafia executive. Stacks of bills piled into his hands every day, and he quietly flexed on it through his collection of wine in the cellar, his clothes, and gifts to you.
What he wasn’t wealthy in was time. It had been almost a month since Chuuya had any free time—the boss had been overworking him amidst never-ending Yokohama mayhem. His large penthouse actually proved to be a disadvantage when you were the only one staying in it. It was too empty; it was too quiet for a home, there was an awkward gap in the bed you slept in.
“It’s okay, baby,” came Chuuya’s voice reassuringly. “Don’t worry ‘bout some shitty-ass restaurant.
“Meet me home at the rooftop at the time we originally planned.”
“…Alright,” you replied, unsure of what he was going to do, but you were grateful anyway that you’d get to spend time with him.
“And get ready too, like we originally planned,” he added, and this time, you could imagine the smugness in his smile. “See ya soon.”
…
The bell chimed as the elevator approached the top of Chuuya’s apartment, signaling that you reached the rooftop.
“Chuu?” you called out as the doors opened. He was nowhere to be found—instead a pathway of candles and a trail of rose petals leading to the other side.
Your heels clicked on the ground as you slowly followed the course. It was dark towards the back of the rooftop, but the front overlooked the entire city of Yokohama.
Another quiet flex.
“Hey, beautiful.” You noticed him before the lively city behind him, before the romantic scene he had set up—the path of petals expanded into scattering around the table Chuuya was sitting at. He was dressed up too—looking as attractive as ever.
“The Nakahara Restaurant,” you hummed, taking a seat in front of him. “Not bad.”
Chuuya smirked. “Not bad? We get Michelin stars, baby. Trust me.”
You giggled. “I don’t know about that, Chuu. You’ll have to prove it to me.” It was like you had turned the tables on him. Usually, he only deemed a restaurant good if you were pleased with the food.
“Alright.” Now, you were going to rate his. You could tell he was going to enjoy this.
“You hungry?”
You nodded.
With a snap of Chuuya’s fingers, you immediately heard footsteps scurrying toward the two of you.
Two young men, one with raven hair until silver tips and the other with an entirely silver head—you realized they were waiters from who knows where—approached you with a dish.
“Appetizers by Executive Nakahara,” the first one said.
“Wait—did you cook everything too?”
“Duuh, you take this for a fraud or something?” Chuuya failed to hide the pride on his face.
…
The appetizer, entrée, and dessert proved delicious, and you were forced to eat your previous words.
He was talented in just about everything.
Chuuya kicked the two ‘waiters’ out of his house after dessert was served, leaving the two of you finally alone. The candlelight amid the dark sky enveloped your figures in an intimate glow.
“I would’ve been fine with even just takeout,” you laughed after taking a sip out of your wine glass.
He smiled. “As if. It’s a special night, doll, we finally have time to see each other again.”
“Exactly! Seeing you is what matters most,” you said.
“Anyway, thank you, Chuu. I appreciate this so much. And I guess you’re right—you earn a Michelin Star from me.”
Chuuya looked towards the city below you and back. “Didn’t doubt it one bit. But that’s not the only stars we’re getting tonight.”
You looked puzzled. “What do you mean?”
“Don’t get shocked.”
Your lover snapped again—you picked up a slight difference in it this time compared to the previous times he signaled—and suddenly, Yokohama went dark.
You didn’t know how, but the city’s electricity had completely cut off at the mafia executive’s command.
“Chuu—?”
“You’re not looking the right way.”
You had been staring at the pitch-black buildings below in fazed awe, but it seemed to have switched places with the skies as now, small scattered lights began to fade in when you looked up, your eyes adjusting to the dark.
“Chuu!” You stood up in excitement. “We can see stars! In Yokohama!”
The ginger chuckled before pulling out a folded comforter from under the table. “Here, it’s better this way. Now this is what the wine was really for.”
…
Chuuya had fixed the comforter on the rooftop and pulled out a few pillows so that you were able to lie down and watch above more comfortably.
“I did this a lot when I stayed in Paris for a bit,” he said, explaining how he got the idea. “But the lights stayed on 24/7 there, too, so I had to use a telescope.”
You looked at him thoughtfully. “We could’ve done that too. You really startled everyone just for this.”
As if on cue, you suddenly heard someone shout in the distance, going “Hey! Who the hell turned off all the lights?!” You and Chuuya both snorted.
“Just for you,” he corrected. “I think this is better anyway. They can handle one night without power. And I made sure the hospitals and other important establishments stayed untouched.”
It was crazy how much power the man had. “Not entirely evil then,” you said.
“Yeah, plus I was also really aiming at that restaurant that tried ruining our plans,” Chuuya smirked.
You looked back at the stars and then Chuuya again, who hadn’t taken his cerulean eyes off your face.
You lay together to gaze at the stars. But instead of those, he was looking at you.
You couldn’t stop the flurry of coyness you got. He looked absolutely stunning under the heavens—it was almost unfair. It would be if you weren’t the one who got to see him in such a state. He looked mesmerized—mesmerized with you?
“Hey, you’re going to miss it if you keep staring at me,” you said.
“I’m seeing you and those galaxies for the first time in a while,” Chuuya replied. “I think I’d rather watch you.”
He kissed you while you were still smiling, causing him to grin, too. You felt light and safe around him and the blankets, and he felt the same. All aggression and stress ceased from his head, healed by you and the moonlight.
“Y’can name stars after people too, right?” he asked when you pulled back. “I swear, I’m going to make the next scientist who discovers one name it after you. It’d be way better than those random shitty names they give nowadays.”
FYODOR : i have the cosmos mapped out, likewise your soul. — you alone, he adores.
There was not a word said as you got into the passenger seat of the car that Fyodor was driving. He had left a note earlier that day—Zolotse, you’re coming with me on a mission tonight. Prepare what you need and bring the sleeping bags, and you had done so with little hesitation.
The sun had already gone down, but you were used to this. Initially, you had thought his job the opposite of himself—the demon was called to bizarre places sporadically and had to adapt to their settings in a short amount of time. You only realized after being with him for a while that he planned these things beforehand, and he planned them long ago.
The job was made for him—his little game of fate and chess.
He drove for around four hours straight. In that time, you had put on your favorite music, and talked with him about the usual—your latest philosophical obsession, anything interesting about his latest endeavors—you hadn’t realized you had gotten so far away from civilization.
Fyodor must’ve become nocturnal from all the time he’d spent in the dark, because it was pitch-black in all directions when he finally parked the car and you stepped out.
And only then you finally asked him. “Fedya, where are we?”
He didn’t respond, instead going to the back of the car and opening the trunk, handing you your sleeping bag and a flashlight.
You flipped the switch on, trying to scan the surroundings for any hint of where this journey took you.
“Darling, you’re quite naïve,” Fyodor said as you looked down at rocks and twigs below your shoes. “I’m concerned about how easily you agreed to let someone drive you hours out into the wilderness.”
“I’d do it only for you,” you replied, giggling. “I trust you.” Alas, he had answered your question, though you still didn’t know what he was here for.
“Follow me. We have a bit of hiking to do.”
…
A secret hideout? Meeting spot? Something valuable hidden here? Your mind came up with countless reasons why your lover’s current mission took place on a mountain and how he could even navigate without a map. The entire thing was strange—you hadn’t even seen him take any valuables of some kind besides a tent and his own sleeping bag.
The walk-up was a bit tedious. Thankfully, you wore the right shoes and had eaten well beforehand, but you still didn’t expect you would be partaking in exercise so late at night. It was also hard to see, the flashlights scarcely making a difference.
You came across a very steep hill; it was almost like you had to climb rather than hike up.
“Apologies for the inconvenience,” you heard Fyodor from above as he went first to ensure each step was safe. “It’ll be worth it later.”
“Ah-” You hardly had time to ponder his statement when you misstepped on a loose twig, causing you to slip. However, a hand reached to tightly grab you before you slid down.
“Careful, milaya.”
Fyodor kept your hand clasped in his throughout the rest of the trek. You finally reached a large clearing by the edge of a cliff—devoid of trees and hard bedrock.
“We’re here.”
He began setting up the tent while you looked around. There was nothing at all out of the ordinary—nothing suspicious for the demon to use. Were you really here just to camp?
“The goal: your eyes to adjust.”
Fyodor had finished and had been looking at you for some time—smiling, at the way your brows furrowed and how you were still lost with this entire night.
“What-?” you asked as he walked over to take your sleeping bag. You followed him as he set it right next to his.
“Sit next to me, lyubov,” he said, guiding you down. “I’ll tell you the secret to getting directions up here.”
He tilted his head up, and for the first time, you noticed an entire galaxy before you.
…
Drenched under the vastness of the dark skies and lights of the stars, Fyodor began to speak.
“We’ve used star navigation for thousands of years,” he said. “Fifty-eight stars and thirty-eight constellations that we’re able to use, but you only need to locate the Ursa Major to find north and Orion to find west.”
You nodded. Perhaps this is what he had come here to do—find directions to something that no GPS or technology recorded. He had probably taken you along just because he thought you’d admire the view and how you did. Fyodor was right—the walk-up was worth this view.
It was like you were in a trance. You had seen stars, but nothing like this before. The entire Milky Way galaxy was visible to your eyes, countless little suns that seemed barely out of your grasp, even though they were millions of miles away.
“Fedya, how many of them do you recognize by name?”
“By now, I have them all memorized because I’ve found it helpful. If an apocalypse surged the earth, they would still be there. If the world ended, they would still be there. The cosmos remain untouched by us—they watch humanity dance from afar. The nomads knew this the best—when we traveled, we relied on nothing but nature.”
You wondered how many body transfers it took for him to retain them all. There were so many little lights in the sky, it seemed near impossible to be able to gather even half in a mind’s jar. You guessed tens of years at the least, and even with that time, you knew only he could do it.
“You commend them too, don’t you?” you spoke, taking a risk in guessing his views.
“Elaborate for me.” You made eye contact with him, and amethyst eyes fawned over by the night almost enticed you even more than the entire view of the universe afore you.
“You appreciate them, and everything else that lays on the earth after the sun sets because they hold no flaw. They aren’t blemished by the foolishness of people.
“You can be at peace with them because they are perfect, unlike us.”
“You’re right. The perfect mankind would be as pure as the sun and the stars—untainted by something as unnatural as abilities. That’s how I see it, but why group yourself in such faults?”
“Hm?” was the only sound you were able to get out, when he grazed his fingers along your face, cupping your cheek.
“Printsessa, you are perfect.” He spoke smoothly, rich accent making his words sound like a lullaby.
“Your soul dances with the kosmos. Something so divine—you are the harmony of something as beautiful as what we see tonight.
“You are the only one who matches the heavens; my love, you surpass the heavens.”
He captured your lips in a kiss, and you only registered then that it was you two alone. It felt like you two were the only ones in the world with the witnesses to your love being the ends of the horizons, and that the universe who put on a show in the sky instead turned to watch you.
…
“Fedya…what was the mission?” you asked softly as you cuddled with him, your hands reaching for his silky hair as you lay on his chest.
You felt his smile. “You’re still so naïve, darling; you didn’t have to think so much. The mission was to bring you here. It’s been a while since we’ve gone out, has it not?”
SIGMA : i’ve never seen it before! (the aurora borealis) — he learns what love is through you.
“Sigma, baby, let’s go!”
The man had a slightly puzzled face as he let you eagerly lead him outside, past your home’s backyard—into the hills beyond. Other than the Sky Casino, it was your favorite spot, especially when you wanted some peace away from the rest of humanity and its industry.
Your lover was utterly confused why you made sure he did not fall asleep this evening. He always went to bed far earlier than you and rose while you were still lost in dream—perhaps snoring—but tonight you insisted.
And Sigma followed, even though he was at the verge of passing out from exhaustion—managing a casino was hard. He let you take his hand and direct him, even without a clue of where you were going.
Maybe that was what love was—blindly following another.
“I have a surprise.” You slightly turned your head back to look at him, and he swore he would remember this scene forever. His hand still clasped around yours, the warm glow of the back porch’s bistro lights cast upon your face, and your sweet smile—though it was dark outside, he felt that your smile lit up his world more than all the stars combined in the night sky.
The cosmos were a new thing for him. You had introduced watching the stars to him, in this special place beyond your backyard.
Immediately after his first time learning what the Big Dipper was, and that the little lights in the sky were actually much farther than they seemed, he called for a viewing deck to be created for the Sky Casino.
That way, even on nights away from you and home, he could still gaze at the same stars, and for you as well if you wanted to visit.
“Are we stargazing?” Sigma asked as you ran up one of the hills with him. He held a chuckle to himself. You didn’t bother to change out of your pajamas. You were so cute.
“It’s a little different this time,” you giggled, setting down a blanket for the two of you to sit. Before, you would bring foldable chairs, but you realized that they made it a bit difficult for you to cling onto Sigma when you wanted to cuddle with him.
“We should start to see it in just a few minutes,” you said, looking up.
“Okay…”
The stars were there as usual. Sigma had never thought that something as pretty as your heart could exist in something physical, but that was how he saw those small lights in the sky.
If only you knew that whenever you decided to talk about how beautiful the skies were at night, he wanted to say they were literally just a reflection of you.
As soon as the clock on your watch hit the next hour, you immediately grabbed Sigma’s arm in enthusiasm.
Now he was really starting to wonder what got you so jumpy.
“Hey! Do you see it?!”
Sigma caught himself so distracted by you that he was watching your face instead of where your eyes were looking at.
He blushed when you looked at him, but thankfully you remained oblivious to his embarrassment.
“The green light! Do you see it?”
Sigma looked up, and he saw what looked like sliver of green contrast the dusky sky.
“That’s natural,” you began to explain. “It works through the earth’s magnetic field colliding with the atmosphere.
“Watch how it dances.”
A show started to unfold before the two of you. Sigma watched as the small touch of light became even brighter, transforming into a ribbon. He watched as the ribbon began to travel across the sky, overtaking the darkness. He watched in awe as it was joined by another green stream, traversing the horizons together.
“Wow,” you both said in awe.
“It’s called the aurora borealis,” you spoke.
“You can see it regularly if you travel way up north, but it’s a rare event here.
“I wanted to experience it with you.”
Sigma turned to look back at you, butterflies in his tummy and a surge of warmth overflowing his heart when he met your face—cheeks glowing from the reflection of the chasma and your eyes full of adoration.
“With me?” Sigma asked.
“Of course,” you replied, pulling him up. “Look Sigma—a new color joined.”
He glanced up, seeing that a new hue had appeared, aligning itself with the green. A pinkish light had mixed itself in, creating a swirl of paints on the sky’s pallete.
It really seemed like the lights were dancing. And Sigma thought to himself—like me and her.
You seemed to have the same idea because you had taken his hands in yours and started to whirl him around. It was messy—a bit chaotic, but he let himself be dragged along for a bit until he got dizzy, because maybe love was blindly following someone.
Eventually, Sigma started laughing, and couldn’t be thrown around any longer. “Calm down, love!” He took control of the dance, guiding your steps so that it turned into a more organized waltz.
He became captivated when he twirled you around—even though you were in your pajamas, you couldn’t look any less beautiful. He had danced with you in ballrooms, in gardens, but this unrehearsed night was the most enchanting of all.
…
You two danced until your feet started to hurt and Sigma’s exhaustion finally got the best of him. Now, you lay together, watching the rest of the night’s act play out.
“Whenever I look at the nebulas, I only think of you now, you know,” you confessed. “Because even if you’re up there, and I’m down on earth, we’re still looking at the same stars together.”
“I think the same,” Sigma replied. “It’s like we’re always connected in some way.”
You nodded with a smile, but you realized Sigma wasn’t finished yet.
“Actually, it’s more than that. I can only think of you when I see those things because all beauty leads back to you. I see your kindness in the sun and your energy in these colorful lights. I see your perseverance in the moon and most importantly, how many hearts you’ve made shine in the stars.
“And whatever ends up the brightest at night is mine, because you’ve warmed my heart the most.”
Your own heart was beating fast, by how your lover had spoken so tenderly to you and by the way he had rolled over towards you so that he was so close now—his lips just shy of yours.
“Sigma,” you whispered, and then you pulled him into a kiss.
It was then he finally understood: love wasn’t about blindly following another, he followed you because you were a blessing of trust, carrying the stars of devotion on your hands.
i heard if you rb, u’ll be able to watch the stars w/ ur fav tn !! reblogs are cherished; they are what support me the most. <3

“In Love With All of These Vampires ♡˖” Vampire!Fyodor x Gn!Reader ੈ✩‧₊˚
Warnings; blood, blood sucking, kissing, grinding, suggestive, Dazai hate, slightly sassy fyodor
Description; on nights like tonight, you're sure to prepare yourself for a visit from your night-stalking and hungry boyfriend. About 1800 words, even though it doesn't look like it.
A/n; he lingers in my mind 25/8 I love him so much- for more vamp stuff here's a post about vampire chuuya, and then here's one of my mooties posts about vampire fyodor ;333 ALSO HERE IT IS @mariaace ANDDD THANK YOU TO MY BSF FOR THE IDEA @ilovechuuy4 :3333
In the dark of the night, a tall man lurked in the shadows, his raven colored hair dangling in his face as the subtle wind gently pushed against it. His chilling gaze sent shivers down the spines of those who met it, instilling such a strong feeling of uneasiness that such unlucky souls made quick work of picking up their pace and fleeing. His fangs poked out of the corner of his lips, reflecting a shiny glare underneath the streetlights. His shadow stretched far in front of his body as he passed them and his footsteps created a small tapping sound as he made his way down the pavement. He was moving rather quickly to your home, hoping to arrive fast enough to avoid the rainstorms predicted by the earlier forecast. He could only move so rapidly though, as he hadn't fed in awhile and wasn't usually used to very much physical activity. One of those problems, however, would soon be fixed.
By the time he reached the gate to your yard, a soft rain had started to fall from the dark clouds above, blocking out any and all light from the stars and moon. All that was left to guide Fyodor through the darkness was the incandescent glow that shone through your window. His hair and hands were slightly damp, and as he tried to climb up to your window, his grip kept slipping. After a few attempts, he finally made it onto the roof, huffing and puffing as he took a breather. Once he felt that his heart was steadily beating again, he crawled over to the clear panes and knocked. His eyes scanned your room through the glass that was made blurry by the rain, droplets falling down the window in thin rivulets. Your body quickly came into view as you did a little jog over to open the window up and let him in.
"You didn't get caught in the rain, did you?" Was the first thing you asked him. He stared blankly at you with a damp face, hair, and outfit. "No." He replied sarcastically, slinging his leg over the sill and entering your room. You laughed a little bit, steadying him by holding his shoulders before turning to exit your room. "I'll grab you a towel." He hummed and leaned against the wall with his arms crossed over his chest. The knees of his pants were roughed up, a remaining indication of his struggle to get up onto your roof. When you returned with a towel for him, you noticed and commented on it. "It must have been difficult getting up there. There's always the front door, you know." You say, raising an eyebrow and draping the towel over his head, drying his hair up for him. To you, he seemed to have an odd affinity for climbing through windows and nearly fatiguing himself by doing such a thing, but he really just didn't want to encounter your roommate. What you didn't know was that the guy you lived with was his mortal enemy. Fyodor was simply petty enough to enter your home through the window rather than the door because he knew that the brunette man liked to hang in the living room with whichever woman he comes home with, if one at all, and that's where the door was.
"I can't do that." He'd tell you, his tongue tracing the point of his right fang. Your brows furrowed and you looked up at him through your eyelashes. "Why not? You literally wind yourself every time you climb up here." You say, drying his scalp underneath the top layer of his hair. "It's rude to ask a vampire that." He tells you, so seriously that you almost believe him. "And it's even ruder to comment on my physical abilities. I get up here just fine." You let out a skeptical hum and nod. "Okay, sure." You toss the towel at your laundry basket on the other side of the room and grin when you make it in. "Look at that, I'm a baller." You say, turning to him. "You should go pro, Myshka." He says, peeling the dampened coat off of his body and tossing it over the back of your desk chair. "Do you want some dry clothes? Your..." You gesture at his whole body. "Vampiric attire doesn't look the most comfortable for cuddling. And kissing. And etcetera." You offer, already making your way to your dresser before even hearing his answer.
"That would be nice, thank you." He says, already starting to remove his shirt. He took the clothes you had lended him and headed to the bathroom connected to your bedroom to change. When he emerged again, he looked much more comfortable and huggable. "Are they good?" You ask, looking him up and down and concluding that they fit him well enough. He nods and puts his wet clothes in the hamper with the previously discarded towel. "They fit me just fine, thank you." He says, approaching you and putting his hands on your waist. "Good, didn't want you to get my bed all damp with your wet butt." You tease, ghosting your fingertips over his spine with a grin. "Oh please, that bed has gotten wetter because of you on several occasions." He bluntly mutters, tracing your jawline and bringing your lips to his to give you a sweet and hungry kiss. You were still a bit stunned by his words, even after the two of you pulled apart. "Wowww, okay. I guess you're right, though. Tonight's probably gonna be one of those nights again, yeah?" You ask, twirling some of his long, black hair around your finger. "Hmm, maybe if you taste satisfactory enough." He says, brushing his thumb over the most recent puncture mark he had left in your neck to draw your blood.
"We both know I taste more than satisfactory." You respond. "I think it's just a matter of how hungry you are." You tilt your head to the side, awaiting the pinch of his bite. "Maybe." He responds in partial agreement, leaning down and finally sinking his fangs into your skin. After a moment of his sucking, the blood finally hit his tongue and he hummed, having missed the sweet feeling of his hunger being satisfied. It had been a week and a half since he last fed, and sure he could go for longer than that if he really needed to, but you just tasted so sweet- how could he not crave it? The crimson, wine-looking liquid that escaped his tongue trickled down your chest, but he scooped it up, making sure that his fingertip was facing the ceiling to keep the delicious substance in place for when he was ready to pull out of your neck and lick you clean. He usually hated messy food, but when it was your blood smeared on your chest and his hands, he thought of it almost as dessert.
Once he finally got his fix, he pulled away, licking his lips and teeth clean of your cherry colored fluids, wearing the dark color like a lip stain. He then sucked the excess blood off of his finger. "Mm, you taste magnificent, darling." He says, closing his eyes and catching his breath. He leaned in and kissed right below your ear, his bitten down fingernails touched your skin as he tightened his grip to pull you in further, making you furrow your brows at their rigid texture. "Are you sure? Maybe you should kiss me here so I can taste too.." you whisper, pressing your pointer against your lower lip. He smirks and sighs, leaning further into you, his lips hovering a solid inch away from yours. "I suppose, if you're so insistent on tasting yourself on my tongue."
He closed the gap and kissed you once more, his nose nudging your own as your lips moved together in a passionate pattern. His tongue ran acrossed your bottom lip, and you responded by opening your mouth to let him in. You could, infact, sense the metallic taste of yourself, quite easily, too. The taste of blood obviously wasn't one of your favorites, but Fyodor made it good. The only way your body could react to his lips and tongue on your own was by leading him over to your bed and continuing the kiss on his lap, your arms draped over his shoulders and your eyebrows knitted together desperately. Your hips moved against his ever so slightly, but it was enough to turn the both of you on. Fyodor grabbed you to hold you in place, pulling away from the kiss to speak. He was still hardly an inch away, and you could feel his breath against your skin.
"Stay still and be good, okay?" He muttered, his voice lower than usual. You gave a quiet 'mhm' and pushed his bangs out of his face. "We should take it slower. Wouldn't want to move to fast and get too excited. Your..less than appreciated roommate might hear and want to join..that freak." He mutters. You laugh at him under your breath. "You don't like him?" He shakes his head and chews on his lip. "He's a little bit promiscuous and shady for my liking. I do not." He affirms, his hands making their way to the small of your back. "So THAT'S why you won't go in through the front door and you prefer my window. You don't wanna see him! You're so petty, Fedya." You tease, poking his cheek gently. He swats your hand away and groans. "I never said that, but yes. Seeing that oaf is less than ideal, especially when I'm here to see you." You roll your eyes. "Dazai isn't even that bad. You must have caught him on a bad day whenever you formed this vendetta of sorts." Fyodor frowns and pinches you, giving you a rather exasperated look at the idea of his rival not being 'that bad.' "His only good quality is his intellect, which I see as a meet challenge. Other than that, he is undesirable to me. Enough about him, focus on me." He says.
"Oh, ofcourse." You grin, cupping his cheek and pulling him back into the kiss, running your fingers through his hair and scratching his scalp soothingly. Soft moans were exchanged throughout the rest of the night, but the two of you generally decided that cuddling was more preferable in the moment than anything more intimate besides kisses, so that's how you ended the night- in the arms of your vampiric lover with the sound of his steady heartbeat right beneath your ear as the two of you chatted about anything and everything. The both of your voices were just above whispers, the soft lighting from the lamp on your nightstand added to the calming ambiance of your bedroom, allowing the two of you to peacefully fall asleep together, various types of hunger satisfied that evening.

Repost from Trans Chuuya week 2024
Day 7 – Free Day
At fifteen, Chuuya is inevitably forced to spend way too much time around Dazai, courtesy of a gleeful Mori who thought it would be a good idea to pair them together.
They're in one of the mafia's safehouses when Chuuya finds out Dazai doesn't only cover his arms, but wears bandages all over his torso as well. He's helping the brunet with a bullet wound right below his chest and seeing how the bandages hug his skin tightly, Chuuya has an idea.
He steals one roll of bandages while Dazai is asleep, careful not to wake him up, then promptly enters the bathroom once he gets back to his apartment.
He stands in front of the mirror and reluctantly removes both his shirt and his bra, freeing his skin from the irritating fabric. He averts his gaze from the naked reflection in front of him, and with trembling hands he starts to wrap white strings of gauze around his chest.
He puts his shirt back on and heaves a sigh of relief as soon as his eyes finally settle on the mirror. His chest looks almost flat, as if it just disappeared, and a faint blush enlightens Chuuya's freckled cheeks.
The newfound "chest destruction technique"—that's what Chuuya calls it—boosts his confidence, though in the back of his mind he wondere how Dazai manages to keep all those bandages together.
Chuuya's always feel on the verge of falling off especially during combat, but he's too unsure to ask him. Dazai wouldn't understand the discomfort of looking at your own chest and wanting to rip it off; he would probably tell Chuuya he's an idiot, wouldn't he?
He's just a girl to Dazai—and anyone else really—therefore he wouldn't get it. On the contrary, people would most likely pity him for his small size, which is supposed to be a loss for a girl.
So, Chuuya simply goes on with his life, burying that 'I wish I were a boy' feeling in the back of his mind and ignoring all the times Dazai calls him a whiny girl or Kouyou asks if he's interested in make-up lessons.
It doesn't make any sense. It seems that mind and body go hand in hand for everyone but him.
He feels like a goddamn flaw in the system.
He tries to shove those feelings aside until one day he's changing outfits for an undercover mission–he's going as Dazai's girlfriend, of course–and Kouyou accidentally steps into the room.
Chuuya's arms instinctively fly to his chest while he tries to come up with some excuses to justify the bandages compressing his chest to the point it hurts. Kouyou doesn't fall for it and eventually gets Chuuya to admit he's been doing it for months.
Kouyou's jaw drops, disappointment painted all over her face, and Chuuya waits for a reprimand, an admonishment, anything.
Instead, Kouyou pats his head and asks for permission to help him with the bandages.
"This isn't safe, honey. Let's keep the bandages loose for now, okay? We can try sports bras if that's okay with you."
That day Chuuya learns about the word 'trans' and his feelings start to make a bit more sense.
Kouyou asks him whether he'd like to be referred to with different terms and pronouns and Chuuya gladly accepts, and there's a new light shining in his eyes.
The next day the young girl takes him on a shopping spree so that he can look for sports bras that are tight enough to flatten his chest without hurting his body. They also visit the men's section and for the first time Chuuya isn't too scared to step into the fitting room and stare at himself in the mirror.
Even though Chuuya never dressed in what is considered a stereotypical feminine way, people start to notice the shift in his style and even in his demeanor.
He isn't exactly in the closet, but hasn't explicitly come out yet because he finds the whole ordeal quite embarrassing.
What is he supposed to do? Grab a mic and tell the whole Port Mafia he's a trans boy? He'd rather die; plus it's no one's business really. They'll realise eventually.
That's why one day he's taken by surprise while he's arguing with Dazai.
"Sorry?"
"Has Chuuya become deaf?" Dazai remarks, annoyed, "I said he should buy a supply of milk or else he's going to be a small boy for the rest of his life."
The shift in pronouns was natural and none of them questioned it, but Dazai never called him a boy before.
Chuuya ignores the usual insult, basking in the warmth growing in his chest.
Some time later, Chuuya finds a package waiting for him outside the door. There's a small card that reads 'For all the bandages slug stole from me'.
Ah, of course the fucker knew.
He opens the box, expecting some kind of unfunny prank; instead, his brow furrows as he realises he's holding trans tape in his hand.
He's glad he's alone right now and no one is there to mock him, so he allows himself to let the tears run down his cheeks.
Quietly, Dazai escapes from the bathroom window.
On his 17th birthday, Kouyou gifts him a binder.
Chuuya isn't excited at first as he assumes it isn't much different from a sports bra. He changes his mind immediately as he tries it on and looks at himself in the mirror.
"This can't be real." he mutters to himself and he promptly grabs one of his tightest shirts.
"Ane-san!" he turns to Kouyou, enthusiasm getting the best of him, "They're gone—what? W-Why are you crying!?"
That day Chuuya learns that you don't have to fully understand people's happiness to the core to be able to experience it together.
One night he and Dazai are lying in the redhead's king-size bed, the moon being the only source of light and the only witness of their encounters.
It's a habit they developed at some point, and neither of them dare question it. By the time the sun is up, Dazai will be gone and will act like nothing happened anyway.
Dazai's bandages are gone and so is Chuuya's binder—they never hide themselves from each other. There's some sort of intimacy that allows them to tear down the walls they built up against the world.
Chuuya is tracing random patterns on Dazai's arm with his finger when the brunet suddenly speaks.
"You know, some people get their top surgery scars tattooed."
Chuuya hums. "Do you want me to get them tattooed too?"
"It's Chuuya's choice. Besides, he needs to get top surgery first."
"Right." Chuuya mumbles, unsure. "Do you think I should get them covered?"
"Chuuya doesn't have to hide himself." he replies, sensing the direction of the redhead's thoughts. "That isn't why I suggested it."
In the end, Chuuya has Dazai admit he brought up the idea just because he thinks Chuuya would look good with tattoos.
"You can get your scars tattooed too, you know." Chuuya tentatively suggests.
"I have a bit too many, slug."
"Who cares? You can pick the one that hurt the most."
"I can't cover my soul in tattoos, Chuuya."
When Chuuya wakes up from anesthesia, his first thought is to ask for Dazai. He promised he would be there, and that's why when Chuuya doesn't see sitting by the bed he thinks that he must have gone to the bathroom or something. Right?
His mind isn't clear enough yet to remember that the bastard defected two years ago without a word. Drugs truly do some fun things to your brain.
Kouyou offers him a sad smile and reassures him that Dazai is waiting for him at home.
When he finally steps into his apartment, peeking with curiosity at the couple of scars on his chest, he doesn't even remember he asked for that idiot in the first place.
And when several months later Chuuya comes back from a mission abroad, a small card awaits him on his bed. There's an address written over it.
Now, Chuuya isn't stupid. All it takes is a quick trip to google to realise that said address matches his favourite tattoo artist.
When he gets there, hands slightly trembling, a familiar figure is waiting for him. Obnoxiously tall, messy brown curls, amber eyes and a tan coat—the last one is new, but it definitely suits him better.
"I hope she's still your favourite artist." the other man speaks quietly, voice filled with nervousness.
Chuuya finally relaxes.
"And I hope you have finally picked your favourite scar, mackerel." the redhead replies, a warm smile adorning his face.
Dazai doesn't know he has already been forgiven years ago.
"Come on, let's go in."

Desperate times call for desperate measures
Summary: You leave your small twins with Dazai and Chuuya and hope the two of them can manage their fatherly-duties while you take an hour of much needed ‘me time’. Scratch that, you just needed long enough to take a shower in order to feel human again before going back to being a mom.
Pairing: Dazai x Chuuya xfem! Reader
Inspired by Sweetober prompt 8: Napping together
Warning: Cursing, hints at depression/ postpartum depression, New parents/exhausted parents.
Enjoy~
______________________________________________________________
You were going to kill Chuuya.
No, you decided as you paced back and forth around the house, rocking the fussing twins in your arms. You were going to kill Mori for dragging your Chuuya out of his parental leave to deal with whatever shit Dazai had gotten himself into. You had thought the suicidal maniac of a lover would have gotten more efficient on missions- or at the very least more considerate. Nope. Still, somehow, if one part of twin dark was sent on a mission, he’d get in sufficient shit to need the second one's assistance.
Responsible adults, your ass.
You sighed as the wailing continued with no amount of rocking, hushing, singing and pacing doing much to ease the tears. You were also silently cursing Chuuya for getting you pregnant with twins, why couldn’t it have been one to start with? Though you admitted as you looked down at the two crying balls of ginger, they were adorably cute; both took after their father in appearance, inheriting Chuuyas ginger hair and stunning blue eyes. With the only seeming resemblance to you being in their chins and petit nose.
You definitely picked the short straw you mused bitterly as another loud cry made your ears ring.
The ginger haired girl was crying and waving her doll around every now and then, getting it tangled in your hair or hitting you on the head with it with a surprising amount of strength. Her twin, an almost identical copy of her with slightly fluffier hair and larger eyes, was just gripping onto you and crying. He wasn’t wailing as loudly as his sister but the teardrops that rolled down his cheeks were larger, almost comical.
There was no doubt in your mind that they were setting each other off. And all this mess because you got distracted and missed nap time.
God you could feel yourself reaching your limit. What you’d give for just a little bit of time to yourself- a few hours was all you asked for. Something you hadn’t seen much of- if any after giving birth. As soon as the twins were born you got to spend a month in the hospital recovering before you and the babies were allowed home. Then it went downhill from there. First the wonderful nanny that you had picked out had to leave your services. The agency you hired her through was quick to send a replacement, but that woman got killed in an unfortunate plane crash. Getting another replacement was proving more challenging. Then almost directly after, despite being barely at home Dazai pulled from parental leave due to ‘emergencies’; first several back-to-back abroad missions where he’d only come home for a few days tops and then his last one for which he left over two months ago. You had Chuuya but even he had to go back into the office several times a week.In the best case. If that wasn’t making your existence miserable, suddenly Dazai needed backup out of the blue, forcing Chuuya to leave without warning in the middle of the night.
For the last two months you were completely alone.
You had to do everything; from childcare to household chores, to different parenting classes and doctors visits with the two. In the evenings after putting them to bed you’d be sitting and going through reports and reviewing mission statements to keep your lovers workload manageable and the department not at a standstill. It became your job to ensure subordinates were still sent out on missions and nothing critical, that couldn’t wait until their return, got missed. Then you’d get a little cleaning and food prep done, shower if you managed to do that before the babies woke up for their nightly feedings. When you’d crawl into bed you’d shut your eyes for twenty minutes at a time, plagued by nightmares of your partners drying and being a failure as a mother. When you’d finally calm your demons, the twins would get hungry again so you’d be up to warm the bottle for them before changing them and rocking them back to sleep. Sometimes you’d fall asleep right on the soft carpeted floor with both of them cuddling to your chest, sleeping a few hours longer than in their own beds.
Those mornings were your salvation.
You let out a loud groan, looking up at the ceiling as you felt tears sting your eyes. You didn’t know if children were meant to scream and cry so much. You didn’t know if you were doing this right or wrong. You didn’t know what you were supposed to do. You just wanted them to be healthy and happy- why couldn’t you do that? You brought them closer to your chest and pressed a kiss to each of their foreheads. “ Mama’s trying her hardest” you muttered as you continued to rock them “Mama would really really need a helping hand though.”
-
It seemed gods took pity on you just this once.
You nearly broke down crying or screamed out in joy when you heard the car pulling up to your driveway. Then silence before a key pushed into the lock followed by the door swinging opened.
“ Sweetheart we’re back!” Chuuya yelled as he kicked off his shoes. You heard Dazai’s voice muttering something to him, the bickering overshadowed by the twins' cries. You made quick way towards the hallway. The moment Chuuya and Dazai came into sight, new screams filled the house; excited cries of “ Dada” and “ papa” which bounced off the walls, a bitter reminder that you children were never this excited to see you.
You could see Chuuya chuckling, a bright expression on his face full of love and happiness. He didn’t seem the slightest bit bothered by the yelling- if anything it seemed to fill him with contagious happy energy and an eagerness to get his damned coat off so he could come to the children. Dazai, dressed in completely white attire, which resembled something between a prison uniform and the dresscode of asylum patients seemed less happy about the screaming. But even he had a smile playing on his lips as he hurried towards you at the same time as Chuuya, who had given up on hanging his coat and just threw it on the ground. The two were practically tripping over each other, with each ‘papa’ and ‘dad’ cry getting more and more eager to get to you, limbs frailing; hands, arms and snappy remarks at each others inability to get out of the others way.
Finally they seemed to remember how to walk and the bottleneck in your hallway was replaced by two adult men rushing towards you.
“ How are my loves?” Chuuya cheered looking far too happy as he hurried pressed a kiss to your children's heads. First the boy then the girl. Dazai did the same in the opposite order, both ignoring you and your puckered lips.
For a second a pang of jealousy hit your heart. You hadn’t seen your partners in over two months and before greeting you, their attention was on the children. Picture perfect fathers. Shitty lovers. And the second the thought entered your head you felt your heart drop to your stomach with guilt. In what sane world was a mother jealous of the attention her babies were getting? You should be happy and proud that both of your partners- not only the biological father- cared so deeply for the balls of joy you created. Though, you added almost bitterly, right now these two brought you anything but joy.
“ Here” you stated in a slightly bitter tone as you pawned over one kid per partner “ Do everyone a favour and act like fathers for longer than 30 seconds. I need some ‘me- time’ before I murder someone”
Chuuya and Dazai shared a look of bewilderment between each other as you stepped away from them. They had expected kisses, hugs and a warm dinner but got a kid each and a blank stare in return. Dazai stared at your retreating form with agap mouth for a moment before he stretched the little girl towards Chuuya; “ Here Chuuya be a good dad, me and Y/N have some catching up to do.”
You pretended to ignore what he said, the same way he ignored your comment about ‘me time’. Though you wondered if you should at the very least make them dinner before taking out that ‘me time’ moment.
“ Heeh stop being so bitter and just hold her, Mackerel.” Chuuya snapped trying to get the boy to settle in his arms “if your swimmers could actually swim they’d be your kids”
“ Don’t be such a slug about it” Dazai declared as he turned his attention away from Chuuya as the boy began sobbing again making Chuuya curse before attempting to pacify him. Zero attention to either Dazai or the girl in his arms.
In the process the girl-child who had just settled down, amusing herself by pulling on strands of Dazai’s grown out hair, turned her attention away from him and towards her crying brother. Seeing him cry, her eyes began to water.
In seconds Dazai’s attention was back to you; “ Ohh Belladonna you’d not be so cruel as to demand your newly returned partner whom you haven’t seen for months to be a father without sleep or proper meal “ Despite his dramatic words he shifted the girl to his other arm so her back was to her brother and began rocking her more quickly. His second hand was trying to keep her attention on the doll she had abandoned in favour of his hair. The very doll she had been hitting you with not even ten minutes earlier. Scratch your earlier thoughts. They were adults and older than you- they knew how to order in or warm up leftovers!
You sighed heavily before you went towards the kitchen and the fridge. “ Then you boys are in agreement that we stop at two right?” You questioned when you returned with a cold rattle for the boy. He was quick to grasp it in his hands before beginning to chew on it. The relief it brought was sufficient to stop the tears.
For now.
When you got no reply, you motioned between the two of them and then to the children in their arms. If you weren’t so tired you’d have laughed at the look of horror drawing of Dazai’s face as he realized you were serious, and then the very hurt expression at the mere idea of not having any children of his own with you. That look melted a piece of ice around your heart. “ Or can you manage to look after them for an hour while I take a shower in peace?”
Your lovers nodded eagerly, both giving you a salute before shuffling off towards the baby proofed living room with toys, a playpen and floor covered in soft playmats. Your eyes lingered long enough until they were out of sight before you headed upstairs to your bedroom. Once there you dragged yourself towards the chair by your make up table which had a thin layer of dust over your make up palettes. Serving as a bitter reminder of just how ‘much’ time you dedicated towards yourself in the past months. The thought plastered a bitter smirk on your face; no wonder you didn’t get as much as a kiss-hello from either Dazai or Chuuya.
You dropped in the chair with a heavy sigh and buried your head in your hands. You didn’t understand what was wrong with you. You didn’t understand where you were making mistakes; how could other mafia women manage to do so much more? More time with children, more work, more chores- many would even visit headquarters to spend lunch with their husbands.
Husbands- the word brought a bitter taste to your mouth. How long have you three been together already? How many milestones have you celebrated? Missions, promotions, twins. Plans for extending the family with at least one more kid- Dazai’s. And still your ring finger remained bare. In fact after the icy greeting today you doubted your relationship would ever move anywhere positive from this standstill.
You heard steps outside your bedroom, irritated and heavy before the door to your bedroom swung open with Dazai’s usual dramatic appearance “ Ahh my sweet Belladonna my heart-”
You didn’t need to turn around to know the look he was wearing.” One hour” you stated “ Or no more kids. Your choice”
The door closed as quickly as it had opened.
The peaceful silence didn’t last for long. Though you didn’t know how long you were sitting in your thoughts, salvaging a moment of being alone, you knew it couldn’t have been longer than five minutes before you were interrupted again. This time the footsteps outside your door were calmer and more confident. Their owner opened the door very gently. You closed your eyes biting back the frustration as you heard Chuuya’s half hesitant whisper “Sweetheart..”
“ What is it, Chuuya?” You still didn’t have it in you to face him.
“ If you want to soak in the bath, it's ready any minute now” You nodded, feeling a wave of guilt wash over you. Maybe you shouldn’t have been so cold to him. Especially when he went out of his way to do something nice for you. “ Also, do you know where the nursing bottles are?”
There it was.
“ There are some prepared bottles in the fridge; just place them in boiling water for a few seconds until they’re body temperature. Not too hot.” You rubbed your temple as you spoke, fighting off the want to cry and scream much like the children downstairs. These were things he as their father was supposed to know. Or at least be able to figure it out on his own. He could lead an entire faction on his own, why couldn’t he handle a baby or two?
After your reply you heard Chuuya linger in the doorway for a few moments. You pictured him opening and closing his mouth, hesitating as he thought over what to do. A hopefully side of you hoped he’d come in and wrap his arms around you and just hold. Just fucking hold you for a moment without the children being present. Then another cry from downstairs and he was gone; the door shutting quietly behind himself.
You waited for a moment, gathering your strengths before leaving the safety of your room, rushing quietly through the small hallway, trying not to waver at the sound of the children's cries. Once in the bathroom you closed and locked the door before leaning your back against it. Why did no one tell you that when you’d become a mother you’d become so alone while constantly surrounded by others?
Shaking your head you stripped before climbing into the baths. You let out a low moan as the feeling of bath salts soothed your skin. Then salvaged the moment of humanity as you dipped your head underwater with the realization you didn’t need to watch anyone while you washed. Then you reached for the shaving blade and shaving cream, getting rid of the hair on your body that annoyed you more than you’d ever wish to admit.
When you got out of the bathtub and showered off, you felt human. Like a sliver of being a woman was returned to you. Dressing in clean clothes only reinforce that. Now then you were feeling more ready to tackle the rest of this cursed day.
Coming out of the bathroom you noticed how quiet it was. The silence filled you with dread; anyone with children knew that the only time they were quiet was either when something was wrong or they were up to something, while anyone acquainted with Dazai and Chuuya were very aware that the two together were constantly either bickering or yapping.
Silence like this filled you with dread.
Throwing your dirty laundry carelessly to the side you rushed downstairs, heart in your throat. When you made it down the stairs you stopped, shocked as the sound of snores reached your ears. More carefully you made your way towards the livingroom being cautious to remain light on your feet.
Once there you leaned against the wall, your eyes falling on the heartwarming sight before you. All four of them were on the soft playmat. Chuuya was lying stretched out on his back on his coat, an arm dropped over his eyes and loud snores resonating around the room. On his chest lay your daughter with his hat covering her head from the light. His hand was on her body keeping her close to himself. Dazai was lying curled up into a ball on his side, beside Chuuya. His messy head on his thigh. Your son laying in his arms, held close to himself through a make-ship baby-carry out of his bandages. Although he wasn’t snoring you could tell he was fast asleep by the rise and fall of his shoulders.
Going over to the couch you picked up the warm covers before gently placing it over them. You saw Dazai stir, a sleepy eye opening just long enough to register that you weren’t a threat then he shifted slightly, creating a space between him and Chuuya for you. “ Don’t be a stranger Belladonna” he whispered as he beckoned you to lay down between them.
Once you did, he wrapped one arm around you, the second one still holding your son in place, before he buried his face in your hair. He took a deep breath in and out, his hand finding yours and squeezing it once before interlocking your fingers together. “ I’ve missed you” he muttered, his eyes sliding shut in tiredness “ Lets rest now and when we wake up I wanna give you a proper greeting Bella”
Before you could answer he was fast asleep. Which was probably good because it saved you the embarrassment of explaining why his one sentence brought you to tears.

Atsushi, Chuuya, Dazai and Odasaku meet someone who can turn into a crow. Headcanon

*Atsushi met this friend at the orphanage when he was very young. He found a wounded crow in the garden of the orphanage.
*Because Atsushi was a boy with a heart of gold, he took the crow and started healing its wing. Meanwhile, he realizes that crow understands what he says.
* Since he is a child, he does not care much and believes that crows are very intelligent.
*After the crow recovers, he leaves immediately, but begins to visit Atsushi from time to time.
*Later, his crow friend realizes that he also has the ability to turn into a tiger. In this way, his crow friend trusts him enough to show his human form.
*Years later, after Atsushi is kicked out of the orphanage, Atsushi's friend follows him. Because the crow had nothing else to do.
*Since Atsushi and his friend have similar abilities, he gets along quite well with his friend.

*In fact, Chuuya accidentally came across a crow while using his gravity ability. And of course, a human standing in the air was quite interesting for the crow.
*The crow followed him for hours. Even though Chuuya noticed this and tried to get rid of the crow, he could not escape from the bird's eye view.
*Then he stopped running away from the crow and let everything happen. The crow came to him and flew around him and then went away, chirping with his strange voice.
*Later, Chuuya was saved from the crow, but one day later, suddenly someone disturbed him and asked to be his friend.
*Chuuya refused at first, but no one can handle a crow's stubbornness. In this way, Chuuya becomes friends with this person.
*After talking for a while, he realized that they actually had a lot in common. That's why Chuuya felt like he found his new best friend.
*Within a few days, Chuuya realizes that this person is the crow that followed him days ago. Because his new friend wasn't trying to hide anything.
*At least things aren't bad enough for the two of them to fight.

*For Dazai, the situation is very different. That shiny jewel or bead on Dazai's clothing caught the crow's attention. The crow quickly flew towards Dazai to grab this shiny thing.
*When Dazai noticed the crow attacking towards him, he immediately retreated. In this way, the crow missed Dazai and the crow accidentally hit something.
*When Dazai saw this incident, he instantly laughed and made fun of it. However, this made the crow angry and it started attacking him.
*When the crow touched him to attack, he turned into a human thanks to Dazai's ability. Dazai then started to mock more.
*Even though their relationship started off badly, they somehow managed to meet and become friends.

*Odasaku met his friend in a very normal way. While sitting at a bar and drinking a drink, he started talking to the person next to him.
*The conversation with the person next to him was quite entertaining and interesting. He was exactly the kind of person Odasaku would love to chat with. So Odasaku continued chatting for minutes.
*Odasaku's soothing conversation with the person next to him was normal until the drinks arrived. After the drinks arrived, the person next to him used his ability to turn into a crow and started drinking the drink in his crow form.
* It was a bit of an awkward incident, but Odasaku said, "it's okay if he feels comfortable like that."
*Later, Odasaku befriended this person without caring about his quirks. Sometimes they met in bars or had short conversations while walking on the street.
*Odasaku usually tries not to talk about turning into a crow.
(Thank you to everyone who reads. I actually tried to make it gender neutral but it's hard for me. I have no idea how to do it, but thanks to those who read it anyway.)

pm!dazai taking reader on a date after school, but it’s somehow awkward! tried to get you a stuffie from a claw machine but failed miserably, so he shot the glass out of frustration.. something like that hehe ☆〜(ゝ。∂)
ⵌ HANGIN' OUT THE PASSENGER SIDE OF HIS BEST FRIEND'S RIDE
SENDER Reader (Fem) RECIPITENT PM Dazai Osamu (BSD) CONTENTS You were a horrible pair. You two were unlikely and the path ahead of you could have never predicted such thing to happen. You aren't sure why or how, but you found yourself the centre of Osamu Dazai's attraction. NOTE fluff, reader and dazai are 16/17, brief chuuya, jealousy, young love COMPANY No Scrubs
A/N wrote th is thro ughou t th e sch ool d ay ;3; forgi ve any mist a kes or rush ed writ ing !!! eeeeeeE EEEE i lov requ ests ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
It was embarrassing at this point.
You disliked bringing any sort of unwanted attention to yourself more than anything else. And yet, you owe it to the brunette by your side who attracted stares like a magnet.
" Owwh, fuck! " His drawn out swear accompanied by the stomping of his shoe against the carpeted floor. It's biometric, vibrant patterns splattered across a dark black background sickened you to stare for too long.
" I told you, these are a scam ", you attempted to protest against his insistence that he was sure to win this time, no take-backs. " Why not buy a ticket to the bowling alley instead of wasting it on these? " You remained temperate in opposition to his rowdy and indecent behaviour. You adopted the traits of an older sister, or a mother.
" No way! I spent too much to give up now. " Your head ached. " Look, if I keep inching it closer to the drop, I'll be sure to get it. "
And so, the poor joystick would continue to be abused, 200 yen being inserted into the comparator with every miss, Dazai's agitation growing with each failure.
It had been a sultry evening after school. Gathering your belongings and preparing to take the daily commute home, the pitter-patter of heavy footsteps ran behind you to reveal none other than Dazai Osamu.
He was somewhat of an enigma to everyone who knew him, even those that never exchanged a word with him knew of his name.
Dazai had a horrible track-record and even worse attendance. With a mysterious bandage over his right eye.
Despite his lack of punctuality and participation in classes, he not once has ever failed an exam. Many rumours circulated that he'd cheat - though no evidence of such was ever received. Others thought he must've slept his way to good grades.
Or, he was just inhumanely intelligent.
" Y/N! Y/N! " His ecstatic voice beckoned you to stop walking as he had finally caught up to you, bending over to catch his breath. " Let's visit the arcade together! "
You didn't know what possessed you to accept.
" Oy! Leave 'er alone, moron. Some people actually have work to get to after school. "
And there was his companion, Chuuya. Underestimating him is like a death wish. He was short. Horribly, unfortunately short. Sometimes, you'd feel bashful for the fact he'd have to look up at you sometimes.
Unlike Dazai, Chuuya's absence from school wasn't intentional.
No, not at all. Chuuya never missed a day of school on his own accord. His record full of missed days were from suspensions.
Often getting into fights with anyone, he has never lost a fight.
The duo had a dynamic you couldn't quite grasp.
And then there was you in the middle of it all.
Dazai had lured you into the friend-group about two years ago, when you were all put in the same base class and Dazai, in his extroverted glory, made attempts to suck up to all in class.
You listened to how the girls would swoon and whisper amongst themselves about the legend that was Dazai Osamu, and once he reached you, you couldn't be less impressed than what he had to offer.
" Oh, c'mon Y/N! It won't take too long, we never hang out anymore! "
His sad attempt at desperate puppy eyes lightened your day a little, so you thought you should humour him, just this once.
You didn't know much about Dazai and Chuuya's private life and you didn't pry into the territory either.
All you knew was that they were filthy rich and had a connection to the principal, Ogai Mori. Otherwise, they would've been expelled a long time ago.
" Let it go, Dazai. It's not worth it. " You put your hand on his shoulder as he leaned forward, nose barely touching the glass of the claw machine as he tried to focus on getting just what he wanted.
" But you looked at it! " He whined, digging into his pockets as the machine played a sound of defeat. " And? "
" And that means I need to get it for you! "
He insisted profusely that it'll be worth it, and you continued to doubt him. You've been standing by his side for thirty minutes at this point and not once has he won a prize.
You remarked to him that the game was purposely rigged, pointing out how weak the claw was and estimating the plushies within were weighing a little over the maximum capacity something so weak would be able to grasp for more than two seconds. That, and also how the claw would never close properly, inching in barely and dropping what toy it had luckily managed to hold onto.
And that degrading sound of humiliation. A squeaky, robotic coquettish voice repeating itself 'Better luck next time!' over and over.
Dazai was not losing to a machine.
Your stomach grumbled with hunger, and it was becoming clear that you both were growing with unrest at this machine.
" You kids still going at that? "
An arm propped itself on top of the roof of the claw machine, you looked up to see a worker had made his way over to you both. Dazai, did not look up from the game.
" I tried to get him to stop ", you mumbled, looking away from him. You'd always get shy at people older than you. You weren't exactly timid, but you were raised to be respectful. " He wants to win it for me. " It sounded oddly romantic when you put it that way.
" Yeah? You sure he can do it? " The man laughed at the truth. " So you two are on a date? " He overstayed his welcome and you began to wonder if it was usual for employees to wedge themselves into customers business.
" Yeah. We are. " Dazai answered for you, slotting in more coins for yet another try.
" Here, move li'l man, I got this. " Shoving Dazai away by the hip, the white-haired man. Begrudgingly, Dazai said nothing.
And almost with no effort at all, the man easily got the claw to clasp around the exact seal plush you wanted.
He must have been watching you both for a while to know what you wanted.
Although you kept assuring Dazai you didn't need it, you couldn't help the way your eyes sparkled as the man handed it to you with a smug smile.
" Oh! Thank you, sir! Thank you! " You took it from his hand with joy, looking at the fat cushion with adoration. It was simply adorable! You bowed your head repeatedly in gratitude, though felt it was simply not enough.
You almost forgot about Dazai until your ears deafened with the sound of a loud bang and the crashing of glass.
On impulse, you dropped to your knees with your hands over your ears protectively, unsure as to what just happened. Peeking through your tightly shut eyes, you saw that you were the only one to have dropped down and everyone else was as normal as ever.
Before you were even able to question, you uncovered your ear to hear Dazai converse with the man.
" How sad, I guess when you're making minimum wage you figure out how to make your job interesting. " Dazai cocked his pistol like second nature, and behind the legs of the employee you were crouched behind, you peered between his legs up at Dazai with wide, lost eyes.
Looking down at you, Dazai looked pissed.
" Didn't mean to scare you. Get up, we're leaving. "
The employee and Dazai seemed to know each other. You figured by the way the older man was cool about the whole ordeal, almost like he'd done everything intentionally.
You shakily rose to your feet, at a loss for words, and stared with astonishment as Dazai began to gather multiple stuffed toys from the now-broken claw machine and hold them in his arms after tucking his pistol away.
" But- you- the- "
You tripped over your words and found yourself unable to comprehend what had just happened.
" Not gonna run way with your Clyde, Bonnie? " The employee joked, stepping out of your way.
You felt this to be illegal. Maybe because it was. You did not want to aid in a robbery even if the employee was not actively stopping you. Before you could even act, Dazai grabbed you by the arm and ran ahead of you, dragging you behind him as he laughed, your other arm held tightly around the seal plush, afraid to let it go.
" Holy shit, I was so cool! " He shrilled, your shorter legs barely able to keep up with his strides.
" Dah-zai! " You panted out as he kept on running.
Your adrenaline rang in your ears and the heart in your chest beat rapidly as the two of you ran, jumped, hopped over valleys, onto the stepping stones of the river and through the bushes of the dark forest.
" Y/N! "
Dazai yelled out to you. At this point, many plushies in his arms had fallen, yet your intertwined hands never once budged open.
" Whah! Wh-What! " You tried to match his energy, but you were far too exhausted.
Finally, you both collapsed into the cold grass surrounding by large oak trees.
The night sky looking down on wild star-crossed students.
" I think I.. think I love you, Y/N " He said between deep breaths, both your limbs spread out as you tuned to the sound of crickets, the birds and the rapid breathing of one another.
You didn't know what you were thinking, or if you were even thinking coherently, though..
" I think I love you too, 'samu. "

★ PROMPT ─ 3
!! FT. ─ chuuya, ranpo, fyodor
meeting your parents
─ CHUUYA
Chuuya was just a bit nervous, to say the least, about meeting his future in-laws - or so you would've thought if you hadn't seen his condition. He was panicking. You had never seen this man more scared. To think that many of Yokohama's best gangsters were afraid of this man, you thought.
He immediately booked a reservation for the most expensive restaurant in the city and picked out his best fit, even going as far as buying a whole new dress for you as an "early wedding gift", since you were so sure they'd love him.
And love him, they did. Although he practically had mental breakdowns after every sentence during the first half of his conversation with them, when you squeezed his hand and told him everything was going to be okay, he calmed down and became more at ease.
Chuuya was hesitant about speaking about his career choice. If your parents were natives of Yokohama, they were sure to recognize him by his name too. These insecurities had plagued his mind all day. But in the end, everything had worked out. Chuuya was accepted by your parents and became a new addition to your little family.

─ RANPO
When you told Ranpo it was probably time he met your parents, he just shrugged and asked if there'd be extra candy there. However, as soon as he realized the situation, he started panicking.
Meeting your parents? Him? Next week? Why?
Would they like him? Would he be enough for them? What if you had to dump him because they didn't like him? No, that only happened in movies. What if he accidentally embarrassed you? What if he didn't meet their expectations? Would you still love him?
His usually confident demeanour had dissolved and all your parents were met with was a shy, quiet man. After a few unsuccessful conversations, you pulled him aside to have a talk. A little hug and a kiss on the lips seemed to have solved the problem then, and when he returned, he was much more cheerful.
He impressed your father with his knowledge about the latter's various hobbies, and your mother was delighted by how he spoke of her favourite TV shows and series as if he was a huge fan of them.
Ranpo, as well as his love for food, were also welcome when he complimented your mother's cooking, among many other things. Needless to say, you were happy about how he fit in with your family.

─ FYODOR
Fyodor was always very serious about things like marriage and bonding. So, naturally, he had been looking forward to the meeting with your parents.
Your parents visited your shared house, and they were pleasantly surprised, to say the least. The house was flawless, and your boyfriend, even more.
Although Fyodor had had secret nerve-wrecks here and there, he never actually showed it to you. All you knew was that he had an eerily calm mindset as always. Even in front of your family, he was cool and composed, always saying the right thing at the right time.
He complimented your mother, and she was charmed. He talked about your father's interests, and he was ecstatic. It was as if all of this was too easy for Fyodor. He knew just how to meet and greet people.
Well, of course, your parents loved him; how could they not? He was kind, respectful, smart, witty and knowledgeable. Even though he wasn't as outspoken about his career, and may have lied his way out of their questions a few times, Fyodor seemed like an ideal son-in-law.

when their gf is a reader
includes: chuuya, dazai, ranpo warnings: none?? dividers by v6que
chuuya loved to spoil you to death, whether that be fancy dresses, expensive jewellery, makeup, books.. heavy on the last one! he knew your favourite genres, authors, book lengths, classics or new releases.. everything.
whilst chuuya himself found his interests piqued in poems, he knew after a long week you just wanted to go to the old bookshop tucked away in the corner of downtown yokohama. how the place stayed up and running? probably the both of you single-handedly paying it's rent from your visits.
you had been a frequent customer of said bookshop long before meeting chuuya. the dusty rooms with ladders to reach the highest shelves, tables covered with books yet to be sorted.. he felt honored to be allowed into the place you adored.
an old couple ran the place, they must have known you since you were little. they kept certain books aside for you because they knew that they would interest you.
"dating y/n comes with required reading. you're the first boyfriend to ever be introduced here though." the man joked when chuuya and he met. a swift pat on the back for your boyfriend. years had passed since then, and he even had gotten buried in a few books.
during one of your visits, chuuya saw a book in the sections you liked. "have you read this one, doll?" he asked, holding it out to you with his gloved hand, allowing you to take it from him.
he seemed incredibly pleased with his find, proud of the fact it checked all of your favourite boxes. "no, i don't think i have read this one yet.. thank you, chuuya!" you chimed, not having the heart to tell him you must have read that same book about 30 times before.
dazai is an awfully clever man, i don't see him being a reader though.
i'll do a couple of headcannons to get this across b4 the drabble
if you like reading, you can convince him to read some books
he mostly cuddles you while you read
lying on your shared sofa, with your back to osamu's chest, he was practically asleep as you lay on top of him.
you held your book by your chest, reading a tad slower incase osamu was also following along. his chin rested on your head, your hair acting as a cushion. how he wasn't bored of sitting in this silence? who knows. he knew that he cherished any time spent with you though.
he paid some attention to the array of words on the pages, knowing you would tell him about it later anyways. osamu's legs twisted around yours mindlessly, not doing anything in particular.
he stopped glancing at the book's contents and became completely immersed with making your legs move by lazily pushing them with his. you didn't even notice what he was doing, too focused on the book.
the closest comparable thing to what he was feeling was when you shake keys by a baby's line of sight, so silly yet somehow amusing.
due to your close proximity, he could tell exactly what you were feeling. this time, by the way your muscles just tensed up. you leaned forward ever so slightly - careful not to disturb him - and held the book closer.
he moved his hands to your cheeks and pinched them a little as you shut the book. "care to tell me what happened?" he asked, knowing you would explain in rigorous detail what happened in the few chapters you had read.
trying to get ranpo to understand the joys of reading was - to lightly put it - impossible. you can't blame him, given his superhuman iq, to get bored as he has figured everything out very quickly.
you were sat on the beanbag he had insisted you buy for your shared living room, ranpo getting sweets from the kitchen. you were on the last few pages of a murder mystery and didn't seem to understand why it happened.
and this was where having such a smart boyfriend was a blessing. ranpo walked back into the living room and saw you with eyebrows furrowed as you repeatedly read the last few pages.
"you don't understand why they done it?" he asked, mouth full of candies. you nodded, "i just don't know why their alibi held up for as long as it did! it doesn't make any sense! it's completely illogical!" you rambled as he walked over to you, taking the book out of your hands and reading the last few pages.
he skimmed over it, nodding as he went along.
"you're right. that alibi should have been laughed out of an investigation. doesn't take the world's best detective to figure that out!" he agreed, handing you a strawberry flavoured sweet. "for your troubles." he explained.
sorry 4 not posting recently!! i'd give a creative wattpad-esque excuse but i just dk what to write. next time i'll try to have a more fun excuse !! promise !!

'fireworks'
✩↛'when i go, i'd like to go out just as beautifully'
✩↛beast!dazai, massive beast spoilers!, heavy angst, no comfort, mentions of death and injury, hints towards typical dazai stuff, wc - 1.1k
the office laid empty apart from the port mafia boss sat upon his desk. it was nice office, while the height was a little off-putting for some but it was made up for in the view. he could idly gaze across yokohama without risk of anything. just him and his thoughts, maybe sometimes that wasn't the best thing for him.
he had been sat there for a while, his mind jumping from topic to topic until the click of the doors across the office rang across the room. he was greeted by none other than chuuya and he knew that was his key to go do whatever it was he had to do to keep the mafia functioning.
sometimes he swears this job would be the death of him and sometimes he doesn't even know why he aspired for this position. but one things for sure, and that would be why he was so envious as of late, it had been a long time since he carried such strong and lasting emotions.
the office remained idle until the sun barely peeked over the horizon. the last time he would see it for the day, it would come back the next morning unlike something else in his life. he had finished and decided he did indeed need to make his daily visit elsewhere.
he had know you for so long he felt like sometimes he didn't know when you two met. and the likelihood of you two ever meeting was slim, so he knew there must of been such a reason why he had met you of all people. although initially he constantly tried pushing you away seeing as he feared his association with the mafia would only trouble your normal life.
but it would matter very little to you if you knew. but you didn't know, so either way you wouldn't have a care in the world. you helped him forget about whatever problems he faced in the day and the problems and consequences he would face in days to come. and for that he was grateful.
sometimes he feels as if he would've never made it as far as he had if it weren't for you. from his young teenage years to the end of them, you stuck by his side. and somewhere in between you two had made it official.
he never imagined himself in a relationship with anyone but with you it seemed to change. he could never see himself in a relationship with anyone but you. although the constant fear that nagged in the back of his head never went away. he knew anything he cares for would eventually be lost but that wouldn't stop him from trying his hardest to stop that for you.
you still had little idea of his position as the boss of the port mafia when he arrived in it. he spun you a simple lie, the only lie he felt bad for telling but he wanted to never inform you fearing it could drive you away. instead when he was with you he abandoned that role. he became osamu dazai, not the boss of the port mafia, not the demon prodigy but himself.
his walls crumbed slowly but steadily around you, from the mini dates you two would go on to the nights he would spend with you and not all of his own. every little thing you did made his heart skip a beat and you made him feel human. but he knew life was cruel. so why was he so distraught?
so distraught at the sight of your destroyed residence? so distraught his voice felt hoarse and foreign as he called out your name? distraught at the sight of your lifeless husk? he never knew why but maybe it's because he refuses to know why.
revenge was swiftly taken and he thought that would lay his thoughts to rest. he buried himself in the idea of the book and trying to be happy with atleast one person in his life. be happy knowing his best friend was alive even though his lover was not.
but burying himself into the knowledge of the other dazai made it worse. he seethed envy at knowing the fact that the original dazai was living the life he wanted. while oda may not be there and that brought him much sadness, atleast the original had you.
he had you and you had him. the happiness was evident and he now knew that's something he was never going to achieve in this lifetime. that happiness he longed for, forever out of his reach. and ever since then even chuuya would note that he radiated anger and envy. although chuuya never commented.
what would it truly take for him to live a life where he had his friendship with oda and where he had his relationship with you? and now he didn't even have oda in this universe.
the conversation he had previously with oda had left a bitter yet sorrowful taste in his mouth. he had lost the very last thing he fought to keep in his life. why did things never go his way? it was a detour but now he was heading to his initial destination. that was the last time he spoke to a friend, and this was the last time he would visit a loved one.
the path was slighty overgrown but kept down by his footfall day and night. the tree shaded your grave as he brushed off any dusk collecting. he placed his usual gifts as he sat against it, he did always like talking to you. it helped him make up his mind and he had already made his mind up about many things.
the fireworks echoed in the distance as he shifted his gaze toward them. he still vividly remembers the first show you dragged him too. it was at a festival and while he cared little for it, the pure look on your face made him love it. he smiled to himself as he gazed at the colours in the sky. and uncaring anymore he let the tears that threatened to fall. fall for the first time in ages and the last time.
memories continued to swirl in his head, afterall he would never let himself forget. he had made his mind up. you never returned to him since that day, the only memory of you he ever tried to block out. and soon he too would never return.

Sigma first met you when he, nikolai & fyodor were out and about.
He had seen a small, cute cafe and instantly felt drawn to it
Its literally so cute??
When he first saw you, he was lowkey like
"Does this kid work here?!"
All shocked...
But after you gave him some cookies, he literally ate them so fast, they were so good😞
After that, he got dragged out by Nikolai, and he would visit the cafe daily from time to time!
His favorite thing to get from there was the cookies you baked
10/10 rating for those cookies in his opinion
Also did I mention how after the second trip, you guys became bsfs
Like you for real gave him his cookies and started sharing your whole life story
At first he was like : 🤨
Because why did you start sharing your whole family history😭‼️
But still, he started viewing you as a friend, if not a younger sibling figure!
He definitely would go to the cafe specifically to hang out with you get away from the others..
Despite being homeschooled, you're quite smart in certain situations so he sometimes asks for advice
Sometimes y'all will be sitting at a table for an hour or two just staring at eachother trying to figure out what to do in your break times
One time you let him try cooking the cookies...
Never again.
But nevertheless, yall get along great!!
So....
They first met you when kyōka craved tofu
And your cafe sold tofu AND Chazuke apparently
So then atsushi bought the two dishes from you, but then he realized he didn't have any money...
Kyoka was slightly upset that they couldn't get the food, but then you came
And you said, "Don't worry, my family owns this cafe!!"
And then you just gave it to them for free.
After many back and forths between you and atsushi
Even though kyoka was already digging in(real)
After awhile, they left, but not without atsushi sending many thanks and telling you they would come again with money
You ended up just softly pushing them out with a laugh and reassuring them, but still telling them to come back again
You're parents ended up getting upset that you gave the food for free
But its okay because the two did end up coming back,
This time atsushi brought money,
And he bought the same thing for him and kyoka,
While they were eating, you ended up talking with them a lot!
You all ended up getting along considering kyoka and you are close in age, and atsushi got along with you due to how you were really kind with them!
Sometimes you would give them free small treats to take to work,
Once you gave them extra because you had heard from Atsushi about ranpo, so you packed extra specifically for him!
You also made some custom treats for the two, some shaped as rabbits, others shaped as cats!
Lets just say that you guys quickly got along, like siblings!
Kyoka and Atsushi swore to protect you considering you were like a younger sibling to them
One time it was late at night, and she happened to crave some golden tempura after a mission, and she visited a cafe
YOUR cafe
And thats how you guys met!
At first she was quite amused yet a bit shocked that a child was working this late at night at a cafe
"What are you doing working so late, child?"
But nevertheless , you gave her the golden tempura and she payed!
You guys ended up having a chat considering there was no one else in the cafe, and she learnt a lot about you
Call it fast, but after a while she instantly felt connected like a mother to you,
Especially after you told her you grew up with a single father,
After that, she would visit daily!
A couple times she would bring some people with her, like chuuya!
Sometimes you would give her some free tea, golden tempura or some other treats,
In exchange she would always have a nice, peaceful chat with you
One time, you expressed how you wanted to learn a bit about swordsmanship,
And so she taught you some basics, very safely of course
She would bring you some cute stuff, like clothes, decorations for the cafe or your room, accessories for your hair, and once she brought you a kimono just like hers,
One time she saw a creepy guy, he was just staring at you as you chatted with another customer, and he was staring very, VERY weirdly, and even went as far as licking his lips weirdly...
Lets just say she was glaring at him the whole time, and killed him took care of him for you!!
Shes officially "adopting" you (more like just calling you her child but its ok)
She loves how dedicated you are to your familys cafe,
You guys get along quite well, and are very much like a mother and child duo!

- at the top of my lungs, in my arms, she dies , #c. nakahara!
description, there’s a reason why chuuya never went to visit you. it’s been like that every since that fateful day of dazai jumping, leaving no goodbye to chuuya. he felt distraught, but he’s moving on, taking the lead of the port mafia boss. though, he’s wondering if you miss him.
story contains, suicide, swearing, mafia activities, character deaths, beast!bsd spoilers, unrequited love??, more like right person, not enough time, angst, etc. gender neutral! reader. drabble, short.
it’s terrifying that i never wrote about chuuya,,,, anyways my bsf is gonna watch bsd and im tryna gatekeep dazai and chuuya from him (i showed akutagawa to him so he can take him)
chuuya nakahara doesn’t remember the last time he visited you. he was piled in work, and a few work that dazai refused to take on and do, leaving it to chuuya. he’s stressed, i mean, who wouldn’t? he’s the port mafia boss.
he hasn’t seen you in a while, he’s too afraid to face you. thinking about all the guilt on leaving you would catch up to him, it’s not that he doesn’t feel guilty— he does— he doesn’t know if you’ll forgive him. he knows you’re a pretty forgiving person, until it’s someone you care about is hurting you a lot.
chuuya’s scared, in short words.
he remembers your touch, your leadership, your eyes, you don’t smile often, he misses it though. he cherishes you very much, if he didn’t, he wouldn’t be thinking of you this much.
he hasn’t seen you ever since dazai’s suicide, he misses you both (dazai, a little bit less). after all, you were chuuya’s first love, how couldn’t he miss you? everyday, chuuya wonders what would happen if you didn’t leave.
now, at the port mafia, he’s by himself. all alone. piled with work and the amount of mafioso’s that don’t know how to work. as much as he hates this job, it’s the only place he feels like he belongs in, his loyalty goes beyond.
he wants to see you, so much that it’s hurting him. kouyou could see the look of distraught on the boss, as an executive, she asks what’s wrong with him. they can’t have their boss in this type of state.
kouyou knows how much you mean to him, he has a picture of you in his office, a spider lily caged in a glass beside the photo. she could tell that chuuya loves you, very much so, until the very end.
she’s visited you here and there, telling you how chuuya is and how much he misses you, aswell as wanting to see you. she remembers the words that you’ll wait for him, no matter how long until he sees you.
you had told her not to tell chuuya, well, because maybe chuuya will hurry the process and be there as soon as possible. you wanted him to take his time, you’d wait forever for him, even in death.
“where are you going?” kouyou asks, the answer already in her head once she sees the port mafia boss turn around, holding a bouquet of red roses. “you wanna come with?” the sight makes kouyou widen her eyes a bit before she closes them and turns around.
“i already saw them.” she whispered softly, her heels clicking on the floor as chuuya nods and leaves the building, a black car appearing in front of him.
chuuya can’t remember your voice, he only has your voicemails. he can’t remember your smell either, he only has a few months left until all your clothing, bedsheets, pillows, and perfumes are gone.
the sight of your place comes into view, stepping out of the car and heading straight to yours, the guilt and excitement all rushing into his brain—
—until he steps infront of your grave. dropping the roses on your grave and seeing the left over flowers kouyou left for you. there’s a restrained look of sadness on his face as he stares down on your grave, the wind blowing past him.
he’s scared that you won’t forgive him, for not visiting you, for not being there for you when you needed him the most, and especially, not being strong enough to save you. he thinks that maybe he should’ve just stayed with you, to stop you from hurting yourself any longer.
it’s the life time guilt he has for not being able to forget you, he gave you up to fast and chuuya wants to experience the life of being with you again.
there’s a reason why chuuya never went to visit you.
it’s because you’re dead.

Imagine how annoyed chuuya would be to know that dazai gets to visit his children more than he does. Dazai said chuuya's kids are cute and he can see the resemblance between you and chuuya. Meanwhile chuuya's agonizing over the betrayal he feels that his kids sees Dazai as their favourite uncle.
You actually gave me an idea.

Bitter ex! Dazai who can't get you back because you fell in love with Chuuya. Dazai is a loose canon and after months of dealing with his crap you broke it off with him. Naturally, he never left you be and would still cling onto you and he outright refused to take no for an answer. As if the stars themselves decided to bless you, Chuuya came in like a knight in shining armor and helps you out in any way he can. It just so happens that the two of you got drunk and hooked up one evening, oops. Dazai never forgave either one of you for that and absolutely seethes with blinding fury but he can't do anything. However, patience is a virtue and Dazai has that covered in spades.
Bitter ex Dazai! who is there for you during the entire pregnancy, despite you telling him to go away. Chuuya has everything covered but Dazai is relentless. The mafioso wants to punch his lights out but deep down he's just a little bit grateful for the fact that the moron is there for you. He is beyond suspicious of him though and never allows him to be too long with you though. Chuuya has his hands full with mafia business which unfortunately doesn't allow him much spare time and that makes him miserable. He is beyond happy to be a father.
Bitter ex Dazai! who constantly fantasizes about that baby being his own. While he is spending more time with you it's ultimately Chuuya who owns your heart. That is his baby you're carrying, 50% of the child in your belly is alllllll him. Whenever he's alone with his thoughts the detective seethes with rage and drinks until he passes out. He drinks so much that he has been banned from entering several establishments but Dazai doesn't care, he wants you back.
Bitter ex Dazai! who always volunteers to babysit your kids and becomes so close to them that over the years they see him as an uncle. Happy chants of "Uncle Dazai!" and "Is Uncle coming over?" are common place in your household and this thrills the man. Their dear old dad is always so busy, of course their loving uncle is going to take them out! Ah, why doesn't mommy come out to play as well? It'll be so much fun! Chuuya ends up sidelining everything and it makes him want to die.
Bitter ex Dazai! who starts to slip up and his intentions start to show - his gaze lingers on your body far more often than it should, his hand is always on either your lower back or thigh and absolutely everything he does could easily be tipped over the edge of you caved in. He ultimately drops the mask one day in front of Chuuya though - he comes home to see his wife and kids fast asleep on the couch, all of them cuddled in Dazai's arms. The detective has a wolfish grin on his face and his eyes are gleefully smug. In his eyes, he has won. It is only a matter of time until Dazai stops being Uncle and becomes Dad.

You were the elder sister of Osamu Dazai more (not really) you were more likely with him since he was young as you were 2-3 years older then him. You took care of him well.. More likely you work as pretty far even outside Japan, which lead to traveling too when need and let two people as caretaker look after him.
He knows he have a sister, he knows how you look like through the portrait of yours in the hallway of the small house.
After all the presents he get every birthday make it obvious. But his mind of joy was short lived as he never saw you.. Truly, He never saw you giving them the gift or even visit him.
The two caretaker mock him into implying that he is just a burden to you or sort.
The words hurts him more and more as he turn 14 as he finally attempted to kill himself.
As often it was you got the news making you to rush back to Japan.
Unfortunately, You were late.. He was taken by a doctor as the caretakers unfortunately found dead alarming you.
Your mind in frenzy and pain as you even lose your younger brother. Oh how you should have look after him yourself.
Yes you work at early of age more likely, due to your ability, been helpful though it was slightly illegal work but not murdering or sort.
...
.
..
Time went by in two years, as your search came to an end as you work in Japan on those due to time force to resign that work that make you stay outside of Japan traveling and more likely you earn a lot through there. Which also one of the reason why you are able to live in Yokohama for now.
"Oi Dazai! Get your lazy butt to move!" Shouted a voice as your body move to where the voice was to see a certain ginger hair boy with a brunette you are familiar of or so you think.
"Ma~ Chuuya There is no-" he paused as his brown eye flickered onto yours that seems to be staring at him.
It widens a bit as he approach you, as Chuuya the ginger hair boy look confused as he followed suit.
"My what a lovely lady, what brings you here? Am I too handsome for you not able to lay eyes off from me?" Asked Dazai as You shook your head.
"I apologize for staring it is just you.. Look familiar"
"Oh? Perhaps so.. May I know your name, Miss?"
You were abit hesitant as you took notice of their clothing well.. Specifically The brunette clothing as The ginger hair male look casual.
"Don't hesistate, Well let us first introduced first.. I'm Osamu Dazai" said the brunette as your eyes widen a bit making him slightly confused by your reaction as he narrowed his eyes when Chuuya introduced himself to you.
His eyes are deceiving him.. Right? You look exactly like.. No.. Why would his adopted sister be here either way.. Right?
"I'm.. Y/n l/n"
Dazai couldn't help but smirk and glance at Chuuya signaling him to leave leading Chuuya be reluctant yet, does so.
"So.. Y/n L/n.. More likely... Oneesan" said Dazai as his eyes darken at you.
Your eyes widen at the mention word.
"So.. Your-"
"Indeed.. (Chuckles) the one and only.. I didn't thought.. You will finally come back to Japan after.. All this years of.. Isolating me" the last line of his word make your spine chill as your mouth was dry, unable to speak out.
"I.."
"Your job was tough.. I know but you never visit me.. Like I never exist.." He walk in circle around your form as he stop and took a strand of your hair.
"You know.. It hurt me.. Knowing well even if I have an elder sister who.. Adopted me.. She never visited me, Even if it was Christmas nor new year."
You were quiet as it was true you never visited Japan for quiet some time.
"I.."
"But that's alright after all your here now, we can always find the happiness together now.. I heard from others.. That"
His face lean up closer to your face making you take a step back.
"You have been searching for me for about a year! I was so happy but.. You stopped why Did you gave up so easily? Was I not worth anything?"
"N-no it's nothing like that, i-"
"That's alright now, Neesan after all.. Now I found you and we can always be together do you have a house? Perhaps so"
"I.. Do but.. "
"Hmm? Are you trying to leave me again?"
"O-of course not.. I can always visit your work, Dazai" you said as you smile a bit nervously.
He tilted his head a bit.
"Right you will be.. But can't I stay with you, Y/n-oneesan?"
"Um... Sure.. Sure..?" You muttered as he beamed and hugged you firmly as you couldn't help but feel you make a grave mistake.
A mistake on meeting Dazai again.
Just hope that at least you can have your freedom.
.

A:n- that's all good day/night to you all.. hope you take care of yourself!!

Bsd except Dazai was never part of the Port Mafia.
But he keeps somehow getting involved with them. To the point a lot of the Port Mafia think he is.
Like Dazai was just going for a walk through Suribachi city, because he was bored.
Next thing you know, he and Chuuya are facing down the dead Port Mafia Boss.
Chuuya joins the Port Mafia, Dazai isn't even part of it. And they still end up becoming Double Black.
Because their both chaos magnets and keep running into each other during various crisis's.
Mori keeps trying to recruit Dazai and he refuses every time.
There's an executive spot open for him, but no one realises that it hasn't been taken.
There's a whole ass legend about the Demon Prodigy of the Port Mafia. That he's so sinister and evil no one knows what he looks like.
Meanwhile Dazai's just some broke artist that works at some cafe.
He found the Akutugawa siblings starving on one of his walks and invited them into the cafe.
Where he teased em for putting way too much sugar in their tea and they've been close ever since.
They both still end up join the Port Mafia and visit often.
Dazai's given Akutugawa some pointers on his ability.
And because of that, Akutugawa works hard to make him proud. He considers Dazai his first mentor and respects the hell out of him.
This story is interpreted very differently by the Port Mafia. Who see Akutugawa's rage and violence. And assume his mentors to blame.
And not... Him being 16 and incredibly emo.
His actual mentor in the Port Mafia is Chuuya.
But people rarely see them together and assume it's the mysterious Demon Prodigy. A man so dead inside he probably beats up his subordinate and is endlessly cruel.
Cut to Dazai at the cafe, lighting up and bouncing over as soon as the Akutugawa siblings show up at the cafe.
Mori's not exactly helping to stop the rumours.
Dazai still befriends Oda and Ango, they're regulars and they frequent Bar Lupin together. And Mori still uses them against him.
Odasaku dies and Dazai joins the Agency. To make the most out of his life, and to personally spite Mori forevermore.
Dazai meets Atsushi, gets him some food and is just like welp another stray.
Reasons that with Atsushi's lack on control with his ability, and desperate need of a job. Helps him land one at the Agency.
There's like 3 minutes of Akutugawa and Atsushi having a stare off before they just sit, drink tea together and have a nice conversation.
Though they have to put up appearances in battle of course. Since their technically enemies but only at work.
Dazai's "secret" comes out and he spends a good long hour screaming profanities into a pillow before explaining himself.
The layout of the Port Mafia being one Dazai knows, it's because he's been kidnapped that many times and has made fun of the structure.
Mori took that as constructive criticism and made the changes.
Dazai just really hates Mori.
He makes it very clear to everyone at the Agency that everything he knows about Mori and the Port Mafia inner workings is entirely against his will.
But man it took a lot of convincing.
Like yes I might have Port Mafia connections, some personal ones. I might also resemble the vague description of the "Demon Prodigy."
And sure there's an executive spot quite literally with my name on it. And yeah I know Mori, unfortunately better than most people.
But I am not a member of the Port Mafia and I never have been.
... See this is why I kept my past a secret.
Yosano is just like, no yeah that checks out he would do that.
And Ranpo is just laughing his ass off and says Dazai's telling the truth and there is peace... For now.

Chuuya with an s/o who is dazais sibling <3
Chuuya x Reader (romantic) & Dazai x Reader (platonic)
Warnings; Mentions of sex (in Dazais part but its referring to you and Chuuya)
Lets start of with your brothers reaction to the news…
» Shocked honestly
» At first hes all like “Why are you dating the chibi! As your brother I dont allow this”
» Gets in more arguments with Chuuya because of this
» Also hes would murder Chuuya if he found out you guys had sex
» Honestly though, as time goes on I feel like he’d act like he hated Chuuya but deep down he knows Chuuya wouldn’t do anything bad to you. Dazai knows he would be a good boyfriend so hes kind of glad you ended up with him
» If Chuuya did anything bad to you then Dazai would hunt him down… Hes given many threats to Chuuya when you weren’t in the room
» If its PM! Dazai then hed definitely be a lot more strict with Chuuya too
» He expected you to be as insane as your brother at first
» As time goes on he realizes you guys are different and your a bit more tolerable
» Hes terrified of your brother and what would happen even if he bought you the wrong color of something you wanted because of it
» Also visits your brother with you and he always makes sure to give him a gift even if he thinks it’ll end up in Dazais trash (Dazai always keeps it though)
» Might rant a bit about how your brother is annoying
» When Dazai left the mafia he comforted you through it (I also think Dazai would tell his sibling in advance, even if they decline they’d still be sad)
