You pull your hand away, licking your lips as you look at him.

You shake your head, “No, no. I’m fine, babe. It just-“ you laugh slightly, “It just caught me off guard a little. I wasn’t expecting you to come up as I was reaching over.”

“Chris.” You look up at him, “I’m fine. Really.” You reach up and rub his cheek as you lean back, “I’m good, it’s not your fault. We were roughhousing. We always know how that goes.”

He shakes his head, “Do you- I’m going to go get you a popcicle for your lip. Don’t move.”

Before you can say anything he’s gone, and back within a minute. He pushes the treat from the plastic wrapping and hands it to you, “That should help.”

You smile, nodding as you take it from him.

He sits down next to you, “I feel so bad.”

You can see his eyes looking at your lip every time you pull the popsicle away, “I told you, it’s okay. I’m good. Worst thing, I’ll get a fat lip from that thick ass skull of yours.”

He furrows his brows as he tries not to laugh, “I hurt you, I didn’t mean to.”

“I know you didn’t. That’s why I’m making jokes. I find it funny.” You lean in, “Gimme a kiss.” He smirks, shaking his head before gently pressing his lips to yours.

“Ow!” You yell, causing Chris to jump and you laugh, “I’m joking! I’m joking!”

“Don’t do that!” He groans, moving back onto the bed, “Come here.” You move back, laying back against his side, “Sorry.”

Chris was up and out of bed, “I’ll get it.”

You knew Chris felt bad about hurting you, and even though you didn’t think it was a big deal to him, it was everything to him.

He comes back with a few drinks and some snacks, “I forgot to ask what you wanted so I just brought you a shit ton of stuff back.” He laughs slightly, “Here.”

He hands you a drink and you take it, “You didn’t have to get all of that, but thank you.” You sit up and he sits down next to you, “Do you need anything else? Another pillow? The lights off? Another kiss?”

He smiles, leaning in to press his lips to yours, “Anything else?”

A little bit later, when you’re out in the livingroom having dinner with Nick and Matt, you look around, “I don’t have a fork.” As you go to stand up, Chris grabs your hand, “I got it.”

Then somehow you ended up heading out for Ice Cream and then at the park. Sitting on swings and laughing at his awful jokes, you’d never felt more care-free. The night was full, and you were thankful.

He shone, if that made sense. Sam was a shot of espresso, and you were an addict. As cheesy as it sounds, you found him to bring color into your life. Your life wasn’t dreary and depressing, but it was boring. You found yourself going from class to your bed, the library, or working.

You had friends, yes, but not too many you could actually rely on if need be. That you trusted. And within one night, you found yourself pushing Sam to the top of that list.

Sam liked you from the get go, how could he not? With your infectious laughter and smile, kind eyes and understanding self. And you listened, with your whole body. You digested everything you heard and were full of empathy. He needed someone like you.

You’d been best friends since then, your first year of college. Best friends and undeniably in love with eachother. Not that the two of you ever noticed. It infuriated Jess and Mason to no end. The two of them saw it, every time you all hung out. The way Sam clung onto everything you said, as if it was Gospel.

The way your eyes practically glistened when he spoke or smiled. You looked up to eachother with so much emotion it hurt the soul. And the second the other was approached? All bets were off.

No man or woman in their mind continued to pursue you once they caught a glimpse of the huge, 6’5 giant behind you. Sometimes they’d keep going, but then he’d come up behind you with some stupid excuse to get you to go back to the table. And that person was left face to face with Sam and his unsettling smile, “You waiting for something?” A quick shake of the head and they were gone.

But it didn’t matter, whether or not you got together or not. You had eachothers backs at the end of the day, no matter what was going on. Even if you were fighting.

The night Sam’s life changed, you were drunk.

The two of you had an argument earlier on.

You ran your fingers through your hair as Sam followed you through the hallway of the apartment building, “Stop walking away from me!” You stopped in your tracks and turned to him, “Stop telling me what to do!”

“I’m not telling you what to do, I’m trying to keep you safe Y/n/n.” His voice was softer now, and it pissed you off. How on Earth were you supposed to be angry with him when he looked like that. And then the eyes? Ugh!

“It seems like you’re always babying me Sam! I can go out with who I want to.” He sighed, taking a step closer he held onto your hands, “I’m not babying you, again, I just want to keep you safe.” You pursed your lips before crossing your arms, “What’s wrong with Ben?”

He’s a vampire.

“Y/n, please.” He was pleading, but you didn’t care.

“No! I never get a clear answer from you. Why don’t you want me to go out with him?” Your voice quivered as you waited for his response. You noticed his jaw clench, you could tell he was keeping his answer under wraps.

Is it because you like me?

“I- I-,” The words wouldn’t form in his mouth and he couldn’t find a decent answer.

“Good one Sam. I’m leaving.”

He watched as you entered the elevator, guilty eyes unwilling to meet his. He sighed as his head hung low, hands stuffed into his pockets.

Sam had been invited to go out that night, he turned it down. Jess had let him know which club the two of you had gone to, and kept him updated on whereabouts. If you needed a ride and he was out, it would take him about thirty minutes to get to you from his party.

A lot can happen in thirty minutes.

His phone ringing drew him out of the light sleep that he’d fallen under, “Hello?” The sleep in his voice was evident to Jess, “Hey Sam. It’s Y/n time.” He scoffed at the term whilst chucking on a jacket and grabbing his keys, “I’ll be there in 10.”

You hadn’t wanted to see Sam, which was what you’d told Jess, repeatedly. Even if it was most definitely not true. Sam and Jess had successfully stuffed your unconscious self into your car, you’d had Jess pick you up after the argument.

He’d been carrying you to his bed when you’d stirred, “I’m sorry. F-for fighting with you. Ben’s a bitch.” Sam laughed at your crude language as he laid you down on the your side of the bed. You’d claimed it the second he’d invited you over to his new place. “Glad to hear it Y/n/‘.” Sam settled on his knees, removing your heels.

“Sweetheart?” Hair fell in front of your face as you turned to face him, “Mhm?” He moved it behind your ear, “You okay if I change you?” A half-assed thumbs up and a lopsided smile was all you could muster. He knew you wouldn’t mind anyways. You’d told him on multiple occasions that you’d murder him if he let you sleep in your makeup too.

“Could you ever be friends with me if I always had run down make up slobbered over me all the time?” You both sat in front of the TV, chowing down on pizza. “I thought that was your usual look?” The pillow you threw his way had begun a pillow war.

He removed your dress before picking out a shirt of yours and boxers. Since it was your favourite combo. Sam smiled at the notion of you practically swamped by his clothes. Using the makeup wipes you had stashed in the bathroom, he gently cleaned your face before settling in for the night. You quickly turned over to bury into the side of your personal furnace.

Sam’s eyes shot open at the sound, it was darker than before, later in the night. You being settled into his side checked off the possibility of you rattling around in the kitchen for a midnight snack. Quickly checking it out he was met with his brother Dean after a tussle.

“Whoa, easy, tiger.” Sam glared at Dean whilst trying to catch his breath, “Dean?” He laughed at Sam, “You scared the crap outta me!” Dean grinned, “That's 'cause you're out of practice.”

Whether he was offended or annoyed, Sam took the opportunity. He grabbed Dean’s hand and managed to turn him and they ended up on the floor.

Dean groaned, “Or not.” Dean tapped him twice where Sam was holding him. “Get off of me.” A small smile came across the youngest Winchester’s face as he rolled to his feet and pulled Dean up.

“What the hell are you doing here?”

Brushing himself off he straightened up, “Well, I was looking for a beer.”

Dean placed his hands on Sam’s shoulders, shaking once, and letting go. Sam was understandably confused, “What the hell are you doing here?” The elder of the two relented, “Okay. All right. We gotta talk.”

“Uh, the phone?” Sam crossed his arms as Dean rolled his eyes, “If I'd'a called, would you have picked up?”

Fair point.

The murmurs and bumps were more than enough to wake you up. You made your way to the source before turning the light on. Cursing whatever Sam chose for you to wear, it was cold.

“Sammy?” Your voice was like honey to the two of them, Dean couldn’t help but look at you appreciatively whilst clocking onto the fact that you called him Sammy. The boxers, the bare legs and the cute tired look on your face.

Sam and Dean turned their heads in unison to the sweet voice, “Y/n/n. Hey. Dean, this is my gir— friend. Uh, best friend. Y/n.” Sam cringed internally at his words.

Your face was painted in confusion as your brain finally processed his words, “Wait, your brother Dean?”

You smiled as Sam nodded, you’d always wanted to meet him. Dean grinned at you and moved closer.

“Oh, I love the Smurfs. You know, I gotta tell you. You are completely out of my brother's league.” You stuttered at the prospect of being Sam’s girlfriend. But you weren’t in the mood to deny it unless he did.

“I—, we aren’t— ,” By a glimpse you could see Sam’s eyes staring straight into Dean’s head, “Alright, why don’t you back up a little Dean?” Sam spoke as Dean laughed, “Just let me put something on.” As you turned to go a voice stops you.

“No, no, no, I wouldn't dream of it. Seriously. Anyway, I gotta borrow your boyfriend here, talk about some private family business. But, uh, nice meeting you.” You smiled at him, “Nice to meet you too Dean.”

“No.” Sam goes over to Y/n and put his arm around her, “No, whatever you want to say, you can say it in front of her. She’s my best friend.” That’s how you two were, touch was never weird for you two. It’s why you were always mistaken for a couple.

Dean sighs, “Okay.” He turns to look at them both straight on, “Um, Dad hasn’t been home in a few days.” Sam nodded along, “So he's working overtime on a Miller Time shift. He'll stumble back in sooner or later.”

Dean ducked his head and looked back up at the couple in front of him.

“Dad’s on a hunting trip, and he hasn’t been home in a few days.”

Sam expression didn’t change as he nods along. Y/n glanced up at him with a frown, “You never told me your Dad still hunts.” Sam’s lips pressed into a tight smile, “Y/n/n, excuse us. We have to go outside.” You nodded at him, “Can I borrow you, really quickly?”

Dean nodded as Sam smiled, “Of course.” Sitting down on the bed as Sam sat next to you, “If your dad’s missing then are you going to go look for him?” He didn’t know yet, he didn’t even know the whole story yet. “It depends I guess. Where he last was and what Dean tells me.”

“But what about Monday?” Sam couldn’t help but smile, of course you were worried about things that weren’t yours. “I’ll be back in time, I swear Y/n/n.”

He glanced over at you, your hands were in your lap as you smiled, “I know you haven’t told me what your dad hunts. But, I’ve seen your old diary.” His eyes immediately widened, “Y/n—,”

“I believe it, don’t worry. How can I not? I’ve watched my fair share of horror films and Buffy. Plus, my mum always used to tell me to keep an open mind to everything.” Sam had to take a second to grasp everything that had tumbled out from between your lips, “Wait— you knew?”

Your giggles were prominent, until it blew out into a laugh attack, “You should see your face! Of course I knew!” His eyebrows twisted as he pinched the bridge of his nose, “I don’t— what?” You grabbed his hands and clutched onto to them, “Baby, come on. All the random facts you always have, that one time you kept talking about the inaccuracies about Vampires. And then today,”

Sam’s face looked as if it had been drained or color, “If this is about—,”

“You sent an article that morning about Vampires and how they should actually be beheaded. And then a random story about them getting close to people abnormally quick. Which is exactly what happened with Ben. I got mad at you because I couldn’t figure out why you wouldn’t just tell me.”

Sam sighed, “Well you can’t blame me for being cautious. And most people don’t handle the whole, ‘Ghosts are real’ bit that easily.”

“Well I’m not most people Sammy.”

“No, no you’re not. You’re better, you always have been Y/n.” The air in the room had apparently been drained, since you couldn’t breathe. Not with those gorgeous eyes staring down at you.

“Yeah?”

“Yeah.”

“If you’re not about to kiss me I give this interaction a minus 0 out of 10.” Sam scoffed, “So you’re rating me now?” You jokingly nodded as his hand was placed on your cheek before kissing you.

And God was it worth the wait.

As you pulled away you couldn’t believe you finally had him.

“100/10.”

“What an honour.”

You couldn’t help yourself as you kissed the tip of his nose, “Anything for something as cute as you.”

Astro Observations pt.21

Back with some very random Astro observations 😁

⚫ Saturn aspecting the 7th house actually can dislike 9 to 5 jobs or corporate office jobs. They are better with freelancing. Its coz they can't take orders. Sorry not sorry. 💀(Ig that's a Saturn 7H thing 😆)

⚫ An interesting thing I observed: Among two siblings, the elder one has Leo rising which means Scorpio 4H and the younger one has Scorpio moon. And their Mom is a Scorpio moon too. She's a nice lady though but is such a control freak. (I know I am one too, but like when I met her the second time that "controlling" vibe just hit me like a big yellow school bus 🚌😭😭). That was so funny lol😂. -All the more her birthdate is a single digit 1.(these people are the alpha type, always lead and never follow and hence are dominating, one to have the last say) which is cherry on top. -She is fiercely protective of her kids. Can't emphasize enough on "fierce" part. Very strict. Rules are to be followed very religiously. {She can't stand any one of them doing anything without her knowledge. She even monitors whom they interact with what they do on their mobiles etc.(from what I suspect)} (obv Scorpio moon mom traits) (sometimes Leo moon moms too){nothing unhealthy here, just Mom's way of showing they care 😂}

⚫Saturn and Workout: -Workout 🏋️‍♀️requires CONSISTENCY. Saturn LOVES consistency. -In fact the best remedy for Saturn is sweating. JUST SWEAT by hard work. No matter what it maybe: workout, walking, jobs, cardio, sports etc. 🤸‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏋️‍♀️

⚫ Whilst on the topic of Saturn, people who follow a time table for literally everything the planet doesn't harm them much during its Dasha (even if its your worst one). I mean obviously you played by the rules 🤷‍♀️

⚫ Magha is the only nakshatra for which you don't need in depth compatibility match. They get along with everyone.

⚫Scorpio Venuses/8H Venuses are paranoid. They notice and suspect everything (sometimes things which are not there/imaginary). (For eg, me, who thinks that someone is peeping thru my curtains even when nobody is there and all my curtains cover my windows properly. 🤣).

⚫Also as a basic Scorpio Venus behavior: while writing chats/texting, I always think- "what if someone else reads it?"..so I just don't give much details in texts. (Gosh, sometimes I think somethings wrong with me 😭😭)

⚫The proven way to hurt a Leo moon: compare them with any other person and tell them that the person is wayy better in a certain thing esp if it's a triat that the Leo is proud of. 🤣 (P.S don't do that, its mean and the Leo will hunt you, which you don't want 😀.)

⚫Why do Aries moon men have a bunch of good friends for life and Aries moon women struggle with having at least one good genuine female friend for life? (I'm jealous)

⚫ Maybe its becoz they get along more with guys than gals so the girls are jealous of them...so hence no good female friends. 😢🤡 Aries moons are the best-est people for friendships you'll ever get.

⚫ People born on a Saturday look melancholic.

⚫ You can NEVER mislead a Leo rising. They study litreally everything: what you say what you do, and why you do so. Similar to Scorpios

⚫If you see a person having graceful and "royal" way of walking or behaving, they're are sure shot to have a Magha Ascendant.

⚫Connecting the dots here: as I said in one of my previous posts that Maghas get framed even when they have done nothing, what I interpreted is that Maghas are actually the definition of royalty. They literally have that ✨grace✨, that kinda magnanimous personality and similar struggles to a monarch. Totally King/Queen typa energy here. So with that, the usual consequences in a Kingdom is conspiracy against the king, which the Maghas face. (Enough with Maghas ig, started observing them recently so..✌🏻💀)

Reactions to The Worst's Chapter 396

Brief summary: Dark Bear is busy with the birth ceremony. Sheritt talks to Eden. Eden is about to be born.

Poor Dark Bear. It seemed like Clopeh lectured him about legends for 3 days and nights, so Dark Bear was adamant at following Clopeh's teachings down to the letter. Or was it because he could hear Clopeh giggling behind him, and he was scared so he was doing his best? 😂😂😂

Sheritt couldn't enter the game, so Eruhaben installed multiple video screens for her to watch Eden's birth. And finally, we got Cale confronting Sheritt about Clopeh.

Cale: Sheritt-nim, why did you let Clopeh Sekka run wild like that? Sheritt: … Raon: … On: … Hong: … Eden egg: … Cale: (Stop being shy and speak up.) Sheritt: *fidgety*

Everyone's awkward silence was so funny. 🤣🤣🤣

Afterwards, Cale asked why she wanted Eden to be born in front of many people instead of just in this room. Sheritt replied that she wanted her child to be born blessed by many. If there was one regret she had for her children when she was planning for their birth, it was that they would be born in a silent castle devoid of actual living beings.

So she had wished her children to be born amid the cheers and joy of many. And now, that wish of hers would be fulfilled through Eden's birth.

She said that because she was a mom, she wanted her child to be loved by many. Eden was shaken by her words, and even more so when Sheritt whispered to him her wish - that he be born safely. And afterwards, to come see "your mother" because she would be waiting for him always.

The entire scene was touching. 😭😭😭 Even DA felt moved as he vowed to do his best at his task later.

Eden was so moved by her words that Cale panicked when he saw the time remaining suddenly drop from 12 minutes to 9 minutes, and continued to drop fast. As if Eden wanted to be born soon and come see his "mom" right away. Cale had to run and look for Clopeh to tell him to rush the plan. But Clopeh's reaction was funny. 😂😂😂

He used the Sound of the Wind to run very fast. [Recovery rate 99.996% (time remaining: 0:02:47)] Cale saw it for the first time. “Clopeh!” He called Clopeh's name desperately. Because we had to bring forward our planned schedule. “Cale-nim?” Cale called out to the puzzled man. “Help!” At that moment, Cale froze. Clopeh's pupils shook, and his face lit up with joy. And then tears formed. 'Hey, this crazy bastard……!' He was flustered. But he couldn't help it. Now he was in a hurry. “Two minutes!” He grabbed Clopeh by the shoulders and gave him a quick order. “He'll be born in two minutes!” Eleven minutes earlier than expected. The whole schedule had to change.

Clopeh cried tears of joy when Cale called him and asked for help. 🤣🤣🤣 But Clopeh told Cale not to worry because variables were always present in legends.

Moving on, the Birth Ceremony Progress that was stuck at 197% now shot up to 251%, as if signalling Eden's will to be born. The egg became very hot and floated to the sky. In front of an audience of 120,000 people, the egg descended from the crimson red clouds and sky. Silence dominated the place as Cale and the others worked hard with the "special effects."

Ending Remarks Sheritt's words to Eden was so touching. 😭 Next chapter would be Eden's birth. I'm looking forward to what his appearance would be and everyone's reactions to his birth.

Are you sure? 1st trailer

Well well well.

1st trailer for our most anticipated show of the year just landed.

We got a super wholesome, what looks to be chaos filled trailer, with what has most likely become a full on continuous banter between those two of "are you sure?".🤣

39 seconds trailer and so much to break down. And to take it all in you have to watch it time after time after time, every time noticing something new. Can you imagine what we'll be going through when the actual show comes out? Lmao. This is going to be absolute torture for the cult (already creating an alternate reality where Tae was there, and even showed up in the trailer - the umbrella shot). I might even feel sorry for them. Nope. I really don't.🤣

Ok, so let's start to break this down. What did we get?

They both look so happy. This is them. Together. Freedom looks so good on them. Can you imagine? Being able to travel just the two of them, experience the things they love.

For JM it's travelling and sight seeing, for JK it's being with JM and the experiences, not to mention the randomness of it:

(And while they didn't go to 130911 - funny how the 13-10 and 9-1 are there, eh? - they got to do the random part of it, as much as their circumstances allowed it).

All with minimum interference from staff and fans that might recognize them. Freedom to do this just the two of them, all in the guise of work. This show, you have to understand, gave them a once in a lifetime opportunity to do this out in the open without all those unnecessary questions that would follow otherwise. This gives them the option to be together, be themselves, without having to cross that line that they still might want to, but have the choice of deciding if and when that will happen.

And we will see that in the editing. What we are allowed to see and what we aren't allowed to see (out of hours and hours of footage not to mention the hours and hours that weren't filmed). Just how far they will go. And that is also why I am positive that the two were fully involved in the editing of the show, them giving the final word.

It's not for nothing that JM brings this up. This is how they felt. Especially there and then. July 2023. In CT. Following a grueling year. With JK's full on promotions and crazy stressful schedule to come. Feeling free in the moment is what they felt indeed.

Can you even imagine how they were feeling during their Japan trip?😭😭

Let's unfold a little more of what this trailer gave us.

We got JK's JM smile. You just cannot fake it.

We already recognize it.

And talking about faking it, another blow for all the antis. Cry, scream, have a tantrum. None of them will change the FACT that both JK and JM wanted this and were having the time of their lives.

Check on/check out same same. He wanted to see that cute ass face JM was making, cause no one loves cutie goofy dorky JM as much as JK does. NO ONE!!! Fight me on this!!

But it's not a one timer. As mentioned JK is smiling all of the time. They both are so happy, and it makes me happy to see how happy they were.

We have a sunset 'date'.

They do like those.

Golden hour and all.

And the moon gazing too. I wonder if we will be getting that as well...

Although the trailer is very innocent, just two bros on trips together having fun together, especially to those that don't know JM and JK, those that are unaware of just how close those two are, those that haven't seen RB or Hickeygate or Melon 2018 or even watched JK's 2023 lives. Those that just don't see. This moment here is anything but a 'bro' moment. Sorry. It just ain't.

We have them sharing a hat. Nothing new them sharing clothes and accessories.

Choices.

It was definitely a choice to have both SGMB and SNTY as sound tracks to this 39 second teaser.

Using 2 songs for such a short trailer. Basically bookending (again?) the trailer with those two songs.

Using their 2 songs, not surprising.

Using those specific 2 songs, well, that was a choice indeed.

Crazy thoughts incoming, so feel free to skip.

But having SGMB at the start - a song about confessing your love and being open about your love for each other - even more so playing during those not so 'bro' moments on the yacht (sunset and cloud watching together), and then playing SNTY at the end - the song about fighting for your love, not letting those that don't approve of it separate you, weathering through hardships - seeing them still together and giggly and happy, they have overcome it, they are committed and happy.

This is going to be friggin amazing, and I just cannot wait for it.

Watching Ben struggle on his attempts at making a meal on his own, after an argument, would be so funny. Like I could imagine him taking out a box of pasta then saying fuck it after reading the instructions Not even getting past step 2.

LOL that's for sure how it would go. 🤣

I have an ongoing headcanon that despite Soldier Boy/Ben's macho "I'm a real man" attitude, he hasn't had to cook for himself pretty much ever in life, so he'd be completely inept in the kitchen, save for maybe making coffee.

That's why I wrote that scene at the end of Break Me Down Part 6, where the reader realizes this about him and finesses him into helping her cook spaghetti -- one of the most basic forms of pasta there is. 😝

Seriously, the man can't even chop an onion. It's both sad and hilarious, at least to me lol. (It's also meant to be their first genuine Beauty & the Beast moment of, "there's something there that wasn't there before.")

But even though she's laughing at him, she still helps him with grace:

As Ben was peeling the stubborn hide off the vegetable, it slipped out of his frustrated hands and rolled away. Thankfully it stopped just shy of falling off the counter. 

You couldn’t help a small giggle at his expense. He had the strength of twenty men or whatever, but he couldn’t chop an onion to save his life. 

Ben shot you a wryly amused look. “Oh, you better not be fucking laughing at me.”

That just made you laugh in earnest, even though you covered your mouth with your hand. His grin deepened at the sound, despite the embarrassment making his face and neck warm up. 

He grabbed the hateful head of veg and looked anywhere but you as he got ready to try again. There was no way he was letting you, or this fucking onion, make a fool out of him. 

But your soft hand soon covered over his. You offered him a genuine smile, your eyes gleaming.

“Want me to show you a trick I learned?” you asked. 

He hesitated, but he eventually moved over and let you in on the action. You took up the knife, held down the onion, and cut the ends off first. Then you were able to more easily peel off the rest of the outer layer. 

“You can do this part any way you want, really. But I like to cut it down the middle first, then chop up one half at a time like this,” you explained.

And you felt Ben move in closer behind you to watch your methodical work. 

The heat from his proximity actually made you start to blush like a damn school girl. You tried to stamp it down, but heat flared into your cheeks when his hand covered yours and took back the knife.

“All right, all right, I got it. Move over,” he said.

You huffed, but you grinned and let him continue…

By the way his eyes later lit up when he tasted the meal, you knew he really did like your cooking. Now, you didn’t want to feed his outdated views on gender roles…but you could admit, seeing him enjoy something so simple as your grandma’s spaghetti recipe was gratifying. 

It wasn’t the first time you’d shared a decent moment with Ben. But it was the first time that it hadn’t felt like an act. You didn’t know what to do with that—or the conflicted feeling making your heart ache. 

And you certainly didn’t want to find anything about him endearing.

Watching Are You Sure?! EP 8 Finale

A reminder of how I do these reaction posts as I watch things. I just write my reactions and thoughts down literally they happen. Think more of a bullet point format. I'll include links when I can to videos, thanks to the people who twt who upload clips and to @dstdes for providing so many of my linked video clips. And at the end, I'll do a better wrap up of all my opinions. I hope everyone enjoyed the show, I can't believe it's over!!

JK turning on Korea's top hits on the radio and both their songs playing one after the other. They KNOW they are powerful. I like them seeing/hearing that evidence though first hand 🥰 Jikook can't be separated, even on the radio!*

"this is the boyfriend shot" Jimin says THREE TIMES IN A ROW. we get it, he said this is what it looks like to go out on a date with Jungkook. And Jimin is the one who gets to do that 😅😂🥰🥰🥰 goodness. What was that Jimin? Lol honestly though, it was a cute and cozy picture!

And he choose to not drink, even though he really wanted to, because he wanted to drive Jimin to the airport, just them instead of depending on the staff to take them. Give them that extra alone time together. And he chose to fly to Korea with Jimin instead of giving himself an easier and more relaxing travel schedule with more rest by staying and flying to America from Japan instead. That is... It's really fucking special and sweet and says so much about how they love each other honestly.

Giving up his last beer of their trip, after being told to relax and not worry about it because he wanted to be the one to drive them, to have that time together, just them and a GoPro they had control over, and spending that extra travel time to be together when it made a much longer and harder few days for him? That's that persistent, dedicated, quiet yet impactful kinda love. Really said a lot without saying anything.

This was such a sweet and wholesome episode. It had teasing, it had bickering, it had pet names. It was domestic as heck. It was the perfect trip for them to end their "freedom" before military service. I would have loved more conversations about that, but I'm fairly content as it is too.

Again, so many cuts (not complaining, very normal) but my favorite was how Jimin went to go wake JK up and then it cut to them leaving. I hope they enjoyed their time cuddling and relaxing sans cameras and interruption 🥰 (my assumptions I guess, but wouldn't be far fetched)

Letting my delulu out when Jimin said he just lays wherever whenever all the time at home and me thinking about the the members teasing JK about all the random ass mattresses over his house 🤣 it's too keep them comfy no matter where they end up wanting to lay 🤣🤣 (just kidding, sort of lol)

The way Jikook play fight is so equal and cute and funny. They just shove the crap out of each other but never with an intention to hurt or be mean. And they both LOVE IT.

They trust each other, give weight to each other's words and have confidence in the others beliefs and thoughts like no one else. It's such a special bond, and I'm so so glad they opted to share this with us. I truly am so grateful. And grateful for y'all letting me share all my musings with you too. 💜

And we have to end this post with the way that Jikook were spotted in Sapporo driving in the car, Jimin being the passenger princess he was, alone with their GoPro's and giving major flirty energy. And the way the show just proved OP right too. Genuinely Jikook are so special and wonderful and amazing and I love them so much. And when they got home from this trip, the group live they did shortly after? They were sooooo touchy and snuggly!

This  cat and mouse cause was something he thought he was done with , he found he was too old , that somehow it was he was left to the pasture . then he met her  while grabbing a part for his motorcycle while she was grabbing a part for her car . he stood in awe at the beauty of the woman just metres away not realising he was staring for so long til she looked up and that smile that took his breath away ( see what i did there … ok back to the story )  . she was younger than him that much was obvious sigh for him to walk away and scold himself but yet it seemed his body had it’s mind of it own and his mouth was the same idea . 

“ hey sorry but i had to introduce myself … pete mitchell “ he held his hand out .

He was surprised more at himself when he asked if she wanted to go for coffee sometime  even more surprised when she said yes and game him  her number  and told him to call her before walking out the store leaving him with a victorious grin and high five from the guy behind the counter.   Now he didn’t think he would actually do it but then he thought  of the what if’s and what he had to lose in the whole thing. Yes she was younger  , wasn’t like she was in her twenties , ok so she was thirty eight but still they were both adults . when they did have that coffee date well he was transfixed with the woman   how she was funny, beautiful and smart as hell  he knew  was a goner and by end of it they went back to his and well he knew he couldn’t stop now even if he wanted to pete mitchell found himself addicted in all things that where y/n . 

They were sure he was a clone person or whatever fanboy told them  because pete mitchell was showing up to work with pep in his step and smiling all the time .  a new lease on life as the man was flying with a new vigour even letting the push ups slide every now and again .it wasn’t like he was a cold bastard before but shit he was more and more cheery after the weekends , the dagger squad didn’t know whether to be happy , scared or happy for the captain . they all stood at the door looking in at the man smiling  brighter than the sun while talking to someone on the phone  the unmistakable  “ i miss you too” and “ i’ll see you later kay “ . 

“ you think the old man’s finally getting some “ jake asked . 

“ ew don’t say it like that , he’s practically my dad” rooster grimaced . 

“ hey its good to know the old man got it in him” the texan smirked patting rooster back as he walked into the hanger just as Maverick hung up .  “ so when we gonna meet her ?” jake asked shit eating grin on his face. 

“ your not hangman” pete chuckled shaking his head . 

“ so there is a her ?” rooster ran into the room . 

“ aw bradshaw getting a new mom “ jake snorted  only to earn a glare shot his way . 

“ why can’t we meet her … shit she not like a twenty year old or something ?” rooster grimaced . 

“ no  she not a twenty year old and your not meeting her because we’re still .. navigating things “ pete nodded . 

“ so she your age ?”. 

“ jesus leave the man alone  and enough with the interrogation bradshaw “ phoenix rolled her eyes although she couldn’t lie she was also just as curious .

“ she’s 38 ok  and thats all your getting “ pete shoot his head . 

“ she younger than me “ bradley gasped. 

“ same age as me … is she hot ?” hangman smirked clearly loving the situation seeing as it was getting a new found respect for his superior and riling rooster up in one glorious moment. 

“Ok enough about my personal life lets get up in the air ok “ pete called hoping it would be the end of the question but it was only the start. 

A couple of month before he found himself  wanting to spend every second with y/n  and with her brother staying with his friend  , he was sitting  there watching her move around the kitchen making them both dinner everything in it all felt so domestic it went from a hook up to something more something that neither of them talked about but yet  on the same page .  something he  took to this point of his life to want , the she was the man reason he wanted it . she even brought up casually of meeting her brother at some time so they didn’t have to wait for the man to stay out so they could hangout in her place. Another situation he never thought he would find himself in especially at his age and yet he couldn’t help but agree to it .  everything about this felt right  even after dinner when the two sat on the sofa watching a movie enjoying the company of the other , he definitely like when  she got that look in her eye  or the subtle movement or how each kiss started to linger and heat up . wasn’t long before the two were heated kissing before he brought ignoring the picture on his way up  or the one he knocked over when the two made it to her room .  the way he had her crying you his name as he devoured her hole or the way he made her cry out his name in pleasure.  The way she had him body and soul as their bodies intertwined between the sheets .  he didn’t want this with anyone else y/n had him and he for once didn’t want to let go .  the three little word on the tip of his tongue and yet thats where they stay for now at least he wanted to do it right . 

The sun was peaking into the room  , eyes blurring and focusing to the moring light stretching out to feel  her on his chest . eye lashes fanning her cheeks and pillow plump like honestly like an angel sleeping away bed head and all. It was almost a crime to wake her up as he began to get up  his plan failed as she began to stir . a tired smile on her lips as she looked up at the man eyes filled with adoration and something else  something to  the effect his own were giving her. 

“ morning beautiful “ he smiled leaning down to kiss her head. 

“ morning handsome “ she giggled nuzzling into his chest. “ you hungry ?” she asked sweetly making him melt completely.

“ i’ll make it you sleep more” he kissed her head before tilting her face up to kiss her lips . 

“ how about you make coffee while i go to the bathroom and i’ll make us breakfast” she countered. 

“Ok deal go i’ll have a cup ready for you “ he chuckled as she got up only for a groaned to fall from his lips at her naked form . 

“ well i’d get going then maybe we can come back up here after the fueling up” she winked as he threw his head back letting out a laugh .

Throwing on his  sweatpants on  he headed down the stair stilling when he heard movement  a slight panic when he realised her brother must of came back early ready to turn back but thought suck it up he was gonna meet the guy some way and it would be awkward either way so least rip the bandaid off as he didn’t plan on going anytime.  Confident as he walked in the kitchen but as soon as the confidence had come, it went just as quick as he felt the color drain from his face staring at the familiar back of a person he knew all too well . 

“ hey want some cerea…. Sir? “  the voice dropping as jake Seresin was looking at the topless captain standing in his sister's kitchen . 

“ hey handsome where’s my … jake what are you doing home so early “ her smile dropped quicker. 

“ please don’t say shes the …. JESUS FUCKING CHRIST MY SISTER MAV” jake yelled as she wince hiding behind the man giving she wasn’t wearing many clothes bar a tshirt and panties.  “ he’s old as hell and my boss what the hell y/n “ he groaned. 

“ hey he not that old plus i’m older than you “ she shot back weakly . 

“ by ten minutes … how long has … What are your intentions with my sister… can you please go put on some pants please “ the blonde whined . 

“ i honestly thought you knew “ she said softly looking between the both . 

“ how ? you said the guys name was peter “ jake scoffed.

The two sat quietly neither speaking a word  , the silence was deafening although he knew her surname and the accent such of tipped him off but maybe it was his way of the whole  ‘love is blind’ sort of thing or so he told himself as hangman was currently staring daggers at him .

“This is so fucked” jake finally said breaking the silence. 

“ didn’t seem like it in the hanger” pete muttered . 

“ that cause  i didn’t think you were screwing my sister” . 

“ i’m not screwing your sister .. it’s not like that i care for her more than you think ok i know  it’s not ideal and she’s younger than me or the fact she could do hell of alot better but i love her “ pete spoke up not realising what he just said til the words slipped out of his mouth . 

“ you love her?”  jakes eyes almost softened a little bit . 

“ you love me?” her voice made him fresh before turning to see her standing with a smile on her face and yet he couldn’t in that moment care . 

“ very much so” Mav nodded noting her slowly making her way over.
