“anywayysss” you say rolling your eyes playfully, “im gonna pretend to be some random girl flirting with you and you gotta just act natural.”

“okay sure” paige says confidently.

you walk away leaving paige, who was pretending to look at cleaning products, in the frame. you walk up to her, “excuse me” you say sweetly batting your eyelashes. paige looks at you and you both start laughing.

“okay wait be serious.” you say trying to stifle your laughter. “okay im locked in” paige says causing you to laugh even more. you walk over to the camera and pause it.

“okay we back yall” you say to the camera. “take 2” paige says holding up two fingers.

you walk up to paige putting your hand on her bicep. “excuse me” you say sweetly, batting your eyelashes. paige backs up and takes your hand off her, “yeah?” she says trying not to laugh.

“i thought you were really cute and i wa-“ you begin before paige cuts you off and says, “i have a girlfriend”

you begin to laugh and walk towards the camera, “she passed yall” you say holding a thumbs up and stopping the video.

You take your time in the bathroom or at the mirror. He isn't there for those stages.

Antsy. Fiddles around testing out the skin and haircare stuff for men. Bit obsessed with colognes. Needs to know you're opinion on what suits him. He will let you swatch on his hand and arm but will not necessary stay put while you make your decisions. Possibly spends more money than you sometimes. Definitely tries new products more than you do, not really searching for his favorite or the best, just like new and is a product whore.

Jake Jensen

Jake, my beloved, is fascinated by the various textures and tries to spot the super subtle color differences. He's always genuine about which things he prefers--hates sticky textures--and wants you to feel as lovely as he finds you all the time. Jake will even clean up his arm then start over to swatch your top choices beside each other, remembering which brand and colors they were. He is wildly amused by the names of lipsticks and nail polishes specifically. He kinda wants that job.

Lloyd Hansen

Loudly announces what will make you look whorish, the asshole. Everything is described as looking nice while you cry from how good he's fucking you or looking hot smeared on your face and his dick. Doesn't give a shit about price or whatever; he's not paying for it.

Ari Levinson

He's distracted but around. Follows you casually. Will answer questions and give his opinion when prompted. Has too much hair to swatch on him though. Will randomly put his arm around your shoulders, kiss your temple, and say "whatever you want." Insists on paying, even if his eyes bug-out momentarily.

You are correct: he will not allow sparkly shit on his person. In fact, he's too bored to stick around when it's not him shopping. Ran is extremely vocal and particular about what looks great on you and what's meh. Refuses to let you buy the meh things. I will say, he is deeply appreciative of the final result. Loves when you are all dolled up and beaming happy. Doesn't show it really, but he's smug as hell with you on his arm looking so fine...

He has opinions, but he is not a palette. Andy throws a wary glance your way when he notices the prices or that there are several of the same type of product in your basket. There are very rare instances where he's goofy and in the mood to be playful with you, so Andy has been known to put a vivid or dark shade of lipstick on himself when you're turned away and then play it off until you notice. He thinks it's utterly hilarious to smear it on you with kisses in those moment. Adorable jerk...

Steve Rogers

Everything is a palette, and all the colors remind him of some sort of art. I mean, this guy thinks you are art. Steve can't help but imagine what you're thinking of wearing with the makeup, he knows complimentary colors and shading, and he's the best of most worlds in this scenario.

Bucky Barnes

Buck gets an enormous kick out of this, really leans into his preening, theatrical side. Swatch all over him, he doesn't care. Bucky also will gently help you apply makeup, cupping your chin in his hand while gliding that lip gloss you're interested over your bottom lip. He mimics pressing and pouting so you spread it around. I mean...I don't know how this guy makes everything both loving and sensual but goddamn do I believe he does.

You walk beside Paul, holding onto his arm and sighing. The store is super boring! Tractor supply, why is it even a thing? Paul is grabbing a few things for Sam. You, being clingy, came along.

"Ooh!" You say out loud and point toward the front where a tray of books are.

Paul smiles down at you. "Okay, babe. Get what you want. Just don't go too far from me, okay?" He gently squeezes your wrist and let's you go.

"Yes!" You quickly walk over there.

There are cute coloring books and sticker books. You start going through them and pick out one sticker book with diamonds and the Hello Kitty one. You keep digging and find a book with random stickers like coffee cups and flowers. "Freaking bet."

You guys check out and see that Paul got a shovel and lighter fluid. But you got the goods! Paul takes the bags, and you two walk to his truck. He hands you your books, and you get inside the truck. Paul gets inside as well and looks over at you.

"You got stickers?" He chuckles.

"Yup!'' You pipe up.

The drive to Emily's was silent. You ended up pulling out a book and going through them. You had a page with letters! You took the letters of your name and places them on the dashboard.

"You're so stinkin' cute." He grabs your thigh.

You smile in pride and continue placing stickers. You put Hello Kitty, coffees, and hearts all around your name. You look out the window and see you're about to get to Emily's. You look over at Paul's exposed shoulder and smirk. You grab a pink smiley face and put it there. He doesn't seem to notice!

He parks and looks over at you. "I'm gonna bring these inside real quick. I'll be back." He leans over, and you two peck lips.

Just a few minutes later, Paul gets inside the car. He looks at you with a stern face and then holds out his finger with the sticker on it. "Care to explain?"

You start laughing and then grab his face, squeezing his cheeks. You press a rough kiss, pulling away with a "mwuah!"

He smiles and shakes his head. "I'll let this one slide." He starts driving.

You guys make it home and you run to the bathroom. You do what you gotta do and look at the small shelf that has all of your products.

He leans up and tries to kiss you, but you purse your lips together, making his lips land on your chin. He pulls away, shocked and confused.

"You really just did that to me.." He says.

"Yup. Where are they?!" You get off of him.

"Under the sink.." He groans.

You walk over there and see the cucumber mask. You get up and grab Paul's hand. "Bathroom. Wash your face!" You demand.

He sighs and stands up, following you to the bathroom. He leans over the sink and uses some face wash. You wait patiently for him to finish. He wipes his face with a towel, and you wash your face. He stands behind you and rubs your waist.

"You're lucky I love you." He smirks.

"Mm." You mumble while rinsing your face.

You two go into the bedroom, and he lays on the bed, knowing you'll do his first. You straddle on his waist, and he places his hands on your hips. You open the cap and scoop some up, rubbing even layers on his face.

"It's tingling." He mumbles.

"You say that every time, babe." You giggle.

Once you finish his, you put some on you. After that, you look over and see Paul sitting with his arms crossed, pouting. You start laughing.

"You're grounded." He says which makes you laugh harder.

You put another sticker on his arm as he drives. His arm is nearly full of them! You made sure to use the pink ones. The dashboard is full of them, so now you're putting them on your door near the handle.

"You know you have to take these off when we get to the bonfire, right?" He smiles.

Epic The Musical Reaction: Thunder Saga ⛈️⚡️⛈️⚡️⛈️⚡️

SO many thoughts and feelings after the Troy & Cyclops Sagas (Jorge’s Version) and THUNDER SAGA. this is a LONG one, but i’ve put what i can put into words, so here my initial 24 hour-post release reaction! Spoilers galore ahead!

TROY

THE HORSE AND THE INFANT

the ensemble is *chef’s kiss*

i love how gentle Jay’s voice is when he’s singing “penelope” and “telemachus”

the battle clashing is so good!!

overall Luke’s voice is a little softer and feels less thunderous than og so i wonder if that was to contrast thunder bringer? not a complaint just an interesting choice!

don’t love the change to “i don’t think you’re ready” but the rest of zeus’ part is gorgeous

he sounds like a kid pleading, making thunder bringer even sadder when he does it again later 😭😭😭

JUST A MAN

instrumental has a chokehold on me and Jay’s vocals are so smooth

i like how Jay’s voice starts soft and builds power as he’s shaking the guilt of the infant in order to lead his men again

Armando is just so solid. truly the most consistent and solid vocals, which is perfect for the purpose his character serves in the first act of the story

i love every once in a while Jorge makes a surprising pronunciation choice that just tickles me

there were a few specific lines i was worried would lose their magic but “you and i’ll go ahead” still sounds perfect

again, ensemble is eatinggg

OPEN ARMS

Steven stuck out so much to me for some reason. more so when i listened on my tv, but still a bit on my phone as well. the mixing on him feels a little off compared to everyone else to my ear, which is odd compared to the bell-like perfect clarity the stolen version has. this isn’t a diss to Steven, he has a beautiful voice and is the perfect polites which may be why this production difference sticks out more than any one else’s. idk maybe i’m tripping but it feels like he lost some of the innocence in his voice as a result 🥺

i wonder if the lotus eaters sound a little deeper to distinguish them from the winions

i love the “nom nom nom,” “scary cave,” and “that way” 😂😂😂

Jorge’s vocals are so much clearer throughout and his acting is so much more nuanced! I didn’t have any criticism for the original version before, but having them to compare now makes me really appreciate his growth and depth of understanding of the character arc Ody’s on in the new ones.

the tonal dissonance was jarring but then on additional passes it’s so perfect to express how out of place what’s happening is. it’s confusing because it’s wrong

the thunder and chanting and electric guitar and percussion and LUKE’S VOICE and-

the lyrical implications are so appropriately horrible but the beat is seductive and his voice is so powerful and it slides and shoots like lightning strikes or thunder rumbling might- culminating into a banger that captures the king of the gods’ essence perfectly. he is divine judgment and i would say that he abuses that but he doesn’t even see it that way. you implicitly can’t refuse his power, you never had the option and it’s terrifying and so damn zeus.

i truly have no notes that aren’t appreciation and awe. i won’t declare so definitively out of awareness that recency bias is in play, but this may best ruthlessness as my favorite.

odysseus will hate rain and the ocean for the rest of his life, they mean one of the big 3 is coming to fuck up his whole life 😅😅😅

“tell me” and “enlighten me” have me so giddy, he’s enjoying himself so much lol

so many GORGEOUS line deliveries in this whole song. this entire song is GORGEOUS line deliveries. one of my favs is how “choose” and “you or your crew” is said like a gentle interlude for the showier singing but is the most devastating part. the climax is in the quiet for this song

“please don’t make me do this” callback is lethal. odysseus never would’ve made another choice but the way they respectively play out and how he feels about them are brutal.

“let me take the suffering from you” he’s drawing from the siren’s version of penelope to convince himself he can live with the guilt. he uses her as an excuse time and time again to do the worst things, so much so that that’s how he sees her now. he’s desperate for her to be that because how else can he face himself? the one time he looked inward he saw a monster, no wonder he always has to look to/for her.

they sound like scared children and i’m NOT OKAY. eurylochus gave everything for 12 years and odysseus told him he would do ANYTHING to save eury specifically when he risked his life for the pig-ified crew and not only was that not true, he ultimately chose to let him and 35 other men die in a final betrayal after withering his hope, faith, and mind. odysseus is devastated and racked with guilt but it was never a choice. he merely sees himself more honestly now, not the hero he saw in the mirror at the start of the journey, or even back on aeaea.

ik it’s the chorus but also it’s just like zeus to make it about himself again as he decimates these men. his all-powerful divine judgement is his right and stands as his thesis, as ruthlessness for mercy of self does for poseidon.

it sounds like a lullaby at the end like it does in THATI and Just a Man. innocence has died for the final time, there’s nothing good in him left to sacrifice. all he has is the hope that what’s left can still be loved and accepted by penelope because his love of self is gone. yet all that remains is selfishness. he’s calcified into himself, and this makes me hungry to re-read his character study in Circe by Madeline Miller because they do the same thing: Epic reveals this truth through his own perception of himself while Circe does it through the memories of those who loved him and most desperately wanted to the lies he believed about himself to be true.

FINAL THOUGHTS

i will NEVER hate eurylochus. he was top 3 before, but after this saga he is definitively my favorite character. were there devastating consequences to his actions? i mean yeah but also odysseus expected unconditional faith after making the original decision that put them in danger in the first place. his grief and/or pride (depending on how you interpret epic’s depiction of od) and ignoring eury/athena is what put them all in poseidon’s sights. he was clever, yes, but what did that ultimately amount to? it makes all the sense in the world that eurylochus lost faith in his cleverness when he saw the consequences and then just when od earned back his trust, he sacrificed 6 of their men without even trying to be clever. it’s all tragic and if you’re withholding criticism for od but can’t hold nuance for eury then we are having very different experiences, idk what to tell you lol.

danger motifffff

i hope the crew haunts od’s ass so we can hear them again, but either way what an expertly executed ending for those characters and that chapter of odysseus’ life. brava.

this may be the best saga. again- recency bias- but it’s certainly going to be one of the best when all is said and done. THANK YOU JAY. THANK YOU ARMANDO. THANK YOU ANNA. THANK YOU LUKE. THANK YOU KJ.

i hope we get the wisdom saga sooner than later because i’m greedy for good art lol but i’d wait however long Jay needs for another saga as well executed as this one

10/10 acting, 10/10 singing, 10/10 production. so much heart, skill, and talent has been put into this project and i’m really happy to be on this journey of appreciating and analyzing it with y’all in real time ☺️

i’m most looking forward to calypso and penelope as characters, but god games, get in the water, and hold them down as songs in each of the remaining sagas. (also my boy hephaestus)

I am so sick of hearing about Reilly. Why is a week 2 boot having such a significance at final five? The chokehold this woman has on these people it’s just plain weird and it’s very clear that Matt doesn’t get out much 😬 and I hate that he told Cirie he would never nominate her and then nominated her today but mostly I’m upset that Matt is just playing Jag’s game atp. How do these nominations help Matt when BB? They don’t. And Jag’s going to get Matt before Matt can get Jag and Matt is going to look like the fool that he is.

It’s pretty clear that we’re going to have either a terrible (Jag) or sup-par (Matt) winner.

Jag’s gameplay is just so awful. Last week was riddled with so many mistakes both socially and strategically literally all he has going for him is comp wins, and I hate that a Jag win will send a message that comp wins are the most important part of this game and that’s not how it should be. Also, how are you good at this game if you were voted out 10-0 unanimously during the pre-jury portion of the season 😭 If your game is dependent on twists and comp wins, you are not playing a good game. I also hate that a Jag win would give production proof that their twists don’t suck (they do) Okay, rant over 😂

And I LOVE 1989 (Taylor’s Version) 😍 1989 is a top 3 TS album for me so my expectations were high and she delivered on every front. With each re-recording I am always so shocked by how much better her vocals sound. She has obviously put in so much effort into improving her vocals, and her hard work has clearly paid off. I love all the vault tracks but I have to listen to them a few more times before I can solidify my favorite. Say Don’t Go is an early contender though and Slut! is nothing like I thought it would be but I love it 😂

Idk if you particularly care about the Crunchyroll Anime Awards but voting opened yesterday (https://www.crunchyroll.com/animeawards/vote) and the nominees for some of the awards are so confusing.

With the amount of cool anime that came out last year I’m confused on why there’s a lack of diversity in the options. Look, I loved JJK S2, but why is it in nearly every category 😭. I’m also reluctant to let MAPPA get any kind of a win due the horrid scheduling conditions the animators were put under.

It just feels like the people that were deciding the nominees were like “Oh yeah CSM, Oshi no Ko, and Demon Slayer were pretty popular, just throw it in there!” Also didn’t the CSM anime come out and end in 2022, why is it here?

Also as a Hells Paradise manga fan, I’m confused on why the anime adaptation is even anywhere NEAR these awards. Best opening I understand, but it was a show that clearly suffered from MAPPA overwork and then taking on too many IPs. It’s just clogging up nominee spaces at this point.

I think about it this way: is it fair to deny someone from being a candidate in a race even though they qualify, just because they are very popular? For now, I lean negative to this.

Of course! Deserving or not is a matter of subjective taste! To that, I am happy to concede, haha!

That said, since the Anime Award is a popularity award, I think voters like us should try to balance out the votes cast for JJK to mitigate the possible expense of other deserving anime.

I don't remember if Crunchyroll would show the percentage of votes for transparency purposes when the voting closes, but I think it's useful to do that. If JJK wins, we know it's because of its meteoric popularity, not because its competitors suck. Then we can see how, despite the competition, some anime managed to score a pretty startling number of votes.

I think focusing on the statistics cuts straight to the heart of acknowledgment and appreciation of an art form, even if it lacks the glory of actually winning the first prize. But hey, it's low-stakes stuff in the end. It ain't the general or presidential election, innit? 😂

If only we could do rank-choice voting...

MAPPA taking so many projects shows another issue now that you mentioned it: it's taking up a lotta places with different projects too! If you don't want MAPPA to win, because you want to punish them for the way they treated their animators, your choices will become so much more limited. It's not a full-blown MAPPAのpoly yet, but there is a nascent emergence of it. Brrrrr.

Just taking up so many of the candidacies—via their surplus products—increases the probability of MAPPA emerging as the shadow victor no matter what anime won. Well, well, well. Slick move, MAPPA.

Anyway, I'm spitballing here, but...

I kinda think that it's high time awards minimize the brand of the studio and start amplifying the names of certain teams contributing to the art, like... the lead animators and the director. Ya know, "Director X and Their Team" instead of "MAPPA studio."

And award categories should really expand beyond genre or whatever the host makes up. Some of their categories even seem meaningless to me, like "best continuing series." What's there to celebrate about a long-running series? Why can't a series just compete with other series, regardless of how long it ran, as long as it's within that year?

Instead, wouldn't it be better if we create categories for "best animator" or "best scene" or, hey! There's an existing one! "Best Art Direction!" But instead of letting "Anime X, Studio Y" be the rep, we actually credit the name of the lead animators et al., and then the actual scene within the anime itself?

That way, even a show with fewer fans could still get recognized for that show's sick artistic achievements (if applicable), and the people behind it are at the forefront of said recognition. While we as fans can still shower credits to a big-production show—since it's got a lot of really good stuff—with minimal "accidental plaudits" to terrible studio execs.

I kinda... just think that if award shows are meant to celebrate and acknowledge the medium of anime, why not really cut to the heart of it?

Who are we celebrating for achievements, and for what?

I love the story and the philosophical mix between Buddhism and Daoism. It's so rad. I also really admire Sagirin! And I like Gabimaru too.

This one is the story of eskel x kit! Starting somewhat at the beginning, right behind my two piece jaskier fic "take me to church"

So it'll explore how they met (again), all of their trials, and tribulations, their time on the path and how they fall in love!

I have a teaser part if anyone is interested. Though I am not ready to start posting the actual story. It's a very very in depth piece I'm pouring a lot into.

This story has several names at the moment, this is just the one I've used on tumblr since you asked and I didn't wanna be like uhhhhh *breaks out wheel with options and spins dramatically* (okay I kinda did)

Others being "the way the stars whisper" "written in the stars" and "the stories stars can tell"

For background information, as I've learned many people didn't know, elves (like penguins and many other birds!) Essentially mate for life. They have one love, and if that love passes for any reason- they do not remarry. They also don't sleep around (according to Tolkien since I know this is common in fics and no hate! I am just going by what he says specifically because I WANT TO) because for elves sex = marriage. And they marry for both life AND death.

I believe this story is going to be 100% OC, as i haven't even decided if I'll be sharing it online online, as of yet. I have let others read it. The only one who has completely caught up to where I am currently at is @thehistoriangirl 😂💜 she's waiting (im)patiently for me to continue.

This is the story of Haldir and his love, where she is taken from him (kidnapped) and how she gets brought back after she's found, how they heal together, and conquer all adversity together. He does go to Helms Deep, but he doesn't die, ans comes home and they deal with the fall out of everything else coming about.

That is as vague as I can make it (not because I want to) as to not lose completely everything in my explanations. So if you'd like to know more, or anything specific I would be more than happy to share!

As a writer, I can speak for many of us here, we LOVE talking about our pieces simply because we have so much that goes into it. Lore that doesn't make it into the final product but gives explanation. Pieces we had to cut due to fluidity. Alternative routes not taken, and why!

Yeah I think if I knew them or if like someone I trusted completely knew them and knew they'd be safe then obviously that would make me more comfortable if I didn't know them. And I think you could still be Demi if it felt most right for you. That's the beauty of fluidity and labels being general terms that you can make fit you. What you said totally makes sense though 💕💕 I have had sex a few times with people I just met. But I never fully enjoyed it (partially because it was mostly men and partially because it was after drinking and partially because I was struggling to figure out my sexuality). The only time I was with multiple people it just kinda happened and I wasn't in the right headspace, hadn't been with any of them before, and got very overwhelmed and ended it.

I understand what you mean about your friendships or past friendships! Honestly I think some friendships/people are just meant to be part of a certain time in your life for a reason. And it doesn’t mean things ended badly, life just happens sometimes. I use to feel the need to keep up with a lot of people but now I kinda just work on maintaining relationships that i deeply care for right now. But also accepting the fact that it’s okay and that not all of them need or deserve the effort! Anyways lol sometimes it’s just hard to navigate adult friendships but you’re not the only one who thinks/feels this!

My co-teacher and I are like mom and dad (the roles switch back and forth) good cop bad cop kind of situation. It's so fun though honestly. They're obnoxious most of the time but they do make me laugh. My co-teacher is also a mom to two tweens and she says I'm NOT mean even when I feel I am mean so I have that going for me.

It's on my New Year's Resolution list to reach out to my friends monthly if I can help it (when I remember). But even sending a text seems like a lot of upkeep sometimes. I feel like I need to make it personal. Which is insane because it's not like they've reached out to say hi to me 🤷‍♀️ idk it's probs the over-thinker in me. I read Pookie most of the time I post and I have to like quadruple check I didn't mess up 😂 I think I probably knew it would be more than one part, but I think I never know how long it's going to last. In theory if Sun-Kissed could have been four parts, I probs would have done that instead of two. But I wrote it all in one sitting so the cut-off points seemed arbitrary at that point.

I struggle with names. Everyone would be named Liam (unironically) lol I usually use names from TV shows and spread them out throughout different pieces I'm writing (I used Jack and Rebecca from This Is Us in Ding and Green Skies, Pink Grass). I've been using AI and baby bump to create names for me so I don't have to think as much about it lol

If I had known that the 12-hour flu and sore throat I had on Monday was going to be the BETTER part of my week I wouldn't have even mentioned it to you. I had a headache so bad yesterday I seriously thought I was having an aneurysm. It was so splitting and pounding. My whole face was rebelling against me I thought I was DYING. I don't remember ever feeling this shitty. (Still went to my student's game (before I felt TERRIBLE) because I found out a little more about his home life and basically I just want him to know I adore him even if he feels like no one else does). But yeah, I thought I had pink-eye. Thought I had the flu or Covid (both negative). The whole bit. I went to the minute-clinic this morning and I have a sinus infection. We should all continue to thank modern medicine because I'm pretty sure I would be dead right now if it wasn't for anti-biotics. So this weekend was a wash. BUT it's February break here in MA so I'm good to go for the week. Lots of plans to relax, catch up on some things, see friends and the fam. It will most likely be too busy but whatever.

I am doing MUCH better now, bestie. Like within hours. The infection had to be infectioning because I was not my best self the last thirty six hours and I feel SO much better. I hope you have a good start to your week. Love and miss you!! 💕

1. I vid by using a lot of line-of-sight, meaning I find the beat I want the action to match on the audio line and line it up that way. I, of course, also watch the video/audio preview window but, for fine tuning the beat use, I rely on line-of-sight to get things hitting when I want it to. Hopefully. 🤞😣🤞😂

2. Once I finish my WIPs, I plan on taking a sabbatical from writing. I’m honestly not sure for how long, I’ll have to see how I feel when I get there. Right now, that means, over on the Halo side of the Field of WIPs, finishing “15 Minutes” and “Recreation” and, for the Flash, “The Price,” “Guardian Angel”, “Split” (temp name for final fic in the Ghost of Eobard Thawne series) and whatever I can come up with for the final Snowells Week for this year. 

3. I now have way more games in my Steam library than I’ll ever play in my life.

This is mostly because of how I like to play. I like to get to know a game, to become familiar and comfortable with it. This is why the Halo MCC was perfect for me: I can replay something like Reach a million times and either do exactly what I usually do and STILL have something unexpected happen or I can try out something totally new and different. Like, I had no idea for the longest time that you can save the Troop ‘hog on ONI: Sword Base, the one that drives across the way and gets blown up by the Wraiths as soon as the door opens when you pick up the target locator. But you can TOTALLY save it (with the Acrophobia skull and a plasma pistol 😉) and drive it all of the way through the rest of the mission with a full load of 3 marines and Kat along with you until you reach the elevator section! It will be on fire the entire time but its health is fine, it’s all just cosmetic. So I always save the Troop ‘hog now, unless I have a reason to need a Warthog with a turret on it. I love my Flamin’ Troop ‘hog! I named it Trooper because I’m original and unique. 😎👍

If I have to not save them, I always dramatically exclaim, “NOOOO, MAH BOYS!!!” when Trooper goes boom. 😭😭😭 We also pause to acknowledge Trooper’s destroyed shell when we return to the base later. 😥😉

Anyway, playing like this means I’ll replay one game over and over and, with long games, well... I can spend a LOT of time on them, rather than “one and done” playthroughs and move on to the next one. I just find this more fun than always learning something new. 🤷‍♀️

4. I wish I could take good photos of my action figures but I have a lack of decent light, a serious need for a tripod or something to steady my camera and I could definitely use some cool or interesting backdrop/dioramas. 😕

5. Speaking of action figures, my Master Chief in his Olaf bathrobe is one I’m always going to keep right next to me. I think of him as my Cozy Chief, lol.

8. I listen to a lot of ASMR and I highly recommend it if you have trouble sleeping, need something to listen to while you work or study that is “background noise-ish” or if you have anxiety. If you’ve tried before and didn’t like it or didn’t find it helpful, I also really recommend trying different types. There’s tapping, scratching, mic noises, nature sounds, no talking, whispering, fast, slow, roleplays... Honestly, it’s kinda endless at this point, lol! Headphones recommended as well to get the best effect, IMO. Oh and an ad blocker because there’s nothing worse than drifting to sleep at long last and then HERE, BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!! blares you back awake. 😱🤬😉

9. This is the most recent Barbie I bought. She’s sooooo pretty and has a real, knitted sweater!

My mom and I started collecting Barbies in the last year of her life and it makes me feel closer to her, especially if I find something I know she would’ve liked or if I get a great deal on something. Or whenever I find a Barbie shoe pack, lol. I can still hear her telling me, “We need more shoes! Barbie never has too many shoes!” and those are some trufax right there. 😉
