I decided to make a big pot of chicken soup today and while shopping for ingredients I came across these bundles of carrots in a variety of colors. There was the standard orange of course, but also yellow, cream, white, and most striking of all purple. "Those will look lovely in my soup" I thought as I bought 2 bundles.

Well I just checked on the soup after adding the veggies and letting it simmer for a bit. Guys. Those beautiful purple carrots I just had to buy dyed the broth.
