katnep is the type of ship you'd expect nepeta to try really hard and dress all cutely and karkat be a bit more lazy and wear the same clothes BUT if we're all being honest karkat would absolutely dress up all fancy and nepeta would wear her usual clothes. karkat would go to kanaya in a heartbeat, kanaya would try to reach out to nepeta but nepeta will not comply.

bonus points if kanaya continues to try and make something pretty but also comfortable and fitting for nepetas tastes but it backfires because she then never takes it off and kanaya has to watch it very clearly become worn and ruined as nepeta rolls around in dirt. Kanaya accounted for that of course, but nepeta somehow surpassed her expectations anyways

i know Ultimate universe is a way different and this version of Logan is kind of uh pretty fucked up but again so is everyone else in this universe and this is way too familiar of a beat for this door sad old man 😭😭

I need, perfectly a cannon story but I’ll settle for a fic, where Wolvie (any version of him) is post one of these situations, he’s alone and he’s just crying. For the first time in god knows how long, he’s crying because despite all the good he does, despite how hard he tries, despite how many burdens he takes on for others, despite everything, he’s never seen as good enough and he’s just so sick of being rejected bc he’s not “good enough”.

And he’s a good five minutes into this cry when something lights up his room, an orange door looking thing, Wade steps through. Wade who’s looking for someone to help him save his world. Logan goes willingly bc what the hell, there’s nothing here for him anyway.

They basically go through the movie (obviously some things are changed because Wolvie is a little more helpful also there’s a nice helping of sexual tension bc Wade is Wade and Logan is a lonely touch starved mess) and at the end when it’s time for the big sacrifice to happen, Logan tells Wade something like “Let me go, you have a family to get back to. I have nothing.” And Wade almost lets him but he can’t and instead of that funny bit of Wade stalling he tells Wolvie through the glass, “I can’t let you sacrifice yourself for me. You’re too good to die like that.”

It’s that moments right there that he realizes that even if Wade doesn’t want him romantically after all this, it won’t be because he isn’t “good enough”. He saves Wade, they save his world together and in the end he finds his home, he finds people who love him and think he’s good enough. That he is enough and he can’t believe it took him this long to find his home but he did it, he finally did it.

i'm CRYING this is so funny. it's even funnier given what Jason did to Mia. like of all the morally questionable mob bosses Tim could've dragged home, he had to pick *that one*? Oliver is trying to be supportive of Tim and give Tim more agency than Bruce gave him, bc Oliver worked *hard* to steal this one and he's not going to lose all of the progress he made. and it does seem like Tim's doing *somewhat* of a decent job of making Jason less murdery. and Jason agrees to the rule he'll keep out of the Star City scene, but Gotham's still his fair game. and honestly, that makes Oliver like him just a *little bit* because if he's going to make Bruce's life more difficult, maybe Jason is alright.

it also does *not* help that when Oliver goes to Roy for support bc Roy agrees that Jason is untrustworthy as hell. but Roy is *also* the guy who had a daughter with Chesire, so the best he can do is give Oliver a shrug.

also think it's fun if Tim is sort of tense, expecting Oliver to put his foot down and tell Tim no. like he's not used to a vigilante parental figure who's actually good at the parent part, so it's weird having this level of freedom, esp when he knows Oliver does disapprove. but Oliver lets Tim figure out hs own love life and make his own mistakes, even if he's ranting to Dinah about Jason until two in the morning. it doesn't help that Jason makes no move to try to get along with Oliver. he's just a shit to be a shit. at this point Tim is pretty sure Jason enjoys driving Oliver up a wall more than he enjoys dating Tim. who's to say if it's true.
